2. 3 Way Match: Mizuki defeated Nodoka Tenma and Mahiro Kiryu when Mizuki pinned Kiryu with the Cutie Special (8:04).
3. Natsumi Maki & Hikari Noa defeated Maki Itoh & Pom Harajuku when Maki pinned Harajuku with the Backlash (10:31).
4. Yuna Manase & Yuki Kamifuku defeated Mina Shirakaw & Mirai Maiumi when Manase pinned Maiumi with a Lariat (9:16).
5. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Miu Watanabe & Haruna Neko when Misao pinned Neko with the I Am A Hero (9:51).
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Miyu Yamashita defeated Yuki Aino & Raku when Yamashita pinned Raku with the Skull Kick (11:15).

The Tokyo Joshi Pro roster were happy to wrestle in Nagoya again after an 8 month absence. Miyu Yamashita told the audience they will continue to fight for everyone who comes to see them. Yuka Sakazaki was thankful for Nagoya’s kindness towards the promotion travelling from Tokyo to put this show together.

Sakazaki and Yuki Aino were on even ground in the main event. Sakazaki blocked the UBV while Aino dodged the Magical Girl Splash. Raku got overeager when she did the Diving Brain Chop to Yamashita. She dropped her guard so Yamashita could rush her with kicks and win the match with the Skull Kick.

Miu Watanabe is learning how to handle Hyper Misao’s tricks. But in a twist it’s Shoko Nakajima doing the same things that is throwing Watanabe off. Nakajima sprayed Watanabe in the face with cold spray and applied the Unmanned Local Train Hold between the ropes to hold her in place. That allowed Misao to beat Haruna Neko with the I Am A Hero.

With Yuna Manase going to leave Tokyo Joshi, that means Cat’s Pye will be going away. Tensions between Yuki Kamifuku and Mina Shirakawa have gotten worse. Inbetween the wrestler there was also some hair pulling and harsher strikes from one to the other. Manase had to play peacemaker after the match when Kamifuku refused to shake Shirakawa’s hand.

Pandemic Boo Boo had a tight match against Maki Itoh & Pom Harajuku. The Pom Du Justice was blocked when Hikari Noa intercepted the move with a mid-air Dropkick to Harajuku. Natsumi Maki did the Neck Screw Hold but Itoh broke the pin with a Falling Headbutt. Maki then pinned Harajuku with the Backlash.

2. Soma Takao & Mad Paulie defeated Kazuki Hirata & Yukio Naya when Takao pinned Hirata with the Gin And Tonic (10:02).
3. 3 Way Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi and Yuki Iino & Mizuki Watase when Endo pinned Watase with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (12:37).
4. Saki Akai “Okibariyasu” 7 Match Series – 4th Match – Rocky Of Naniwa II Vs Human Torpedo II: Saki Akai defeated Miranda Gordy with the Quetzalcoatl (6:53).
5. DDT Senbatsu-gun Vs Nagoya & Kengo Takai-gun: HARASHIMA, Toru Owashi & Makoto Oishi defeated Kengo Takai, Intelligence Sensational Grand Passion Mask #4 & Hiroaki Ura when HARASHIMA pinned Ura with the Somato (11:23).
6. Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi & MAO defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Shunma Katsumata when Brookes pinned Katsumata with the Praying Mantis Bomb (12:14).
7. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura (c) defeated Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine when Yoshimura pinned Sasadango with a Lariat (19:14).
*V3 for Nautilus.

There was havoc caused in the KO-D Tag Team Title match when the referees kept getting wiped out. Yukinori Matsui got knocked away several times forcing Tomomitsu Matsunaga to come in as a substitute. He got knocked down as well so no referee was around to count any pins. Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine called in their secret weapon. It was the third referee DJ Nira! He was on their side and tried to win them the Tag Titles. Matsui recovered and counted a pin for Nautilus but Nira stopped him with an Elbow Drop. Matsui gave Nira a Lariat and took back control of the match. The challengers got rid of Yuki Ueno and gave Naomi Yoshimura a double team Danshoku Driver for a nearfall. Sasadango pulled off his mask in frustration and went in for the kill. But Yoshimura overpowered him and hit a Lariat for the three count.

After the match Ueno said that the last time DDT was supposed to be in Nagoya he, Yoshimura & HARASHIMA were meant to challenge for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. A typhoon postponed the show so that match never happened. Today Ueno & Yoshimura were able to give Nagoya a tag title match in a different form. That makes them glad. Ueno said they will next defend the titles against The Moonlight Express. However Hisaya Imabayashi has not decided on the date for that match yet.

Makoto Oishi complained that the Nagoya team were too noisy making their introductions so he and Toru Owashi taped Hiroaki Ura’s mouth shut. Intelligence Sensational Grand Passion Mask #4 got revenge by whispering the word “Divorce” into Oishi’s ear at every opportunity to drive him mad. He also targeted Owashi’s nipples. HARASHIMA and Kengo Takai were the only ones acting normally. They simply told each other “long time no see” before they wrestled.

The Okibariyasu trial is now at 2 wins and 2 losses after Saki Akai defeated Miranda Gordy. Akai said she wants to win her remaining three matches so she and Eruption can make DDT even bigger.

Miyu Yamashita and Natsumi Maki continue their series of singles matches. Yamashita was happy with Maki’s performance in their previous match. Now she will see if Maki has gotten even better in the third match.

When Shota went on tour in Australia last year he wrestled for a promotion called Pro Wrestling Power in Cairns, Queensland. One of the locals who caught his attention goes by the name of E10. He is coming over to Japan later this month for a tryout in Ganbare☆Wrestling. E10 is 178cm tall, weighs 77kg and his signature moves are the Side Effect and the Frog Splash.

There’s another Australian heading over to Japan soon, this one for DDT. Melbourne high flyer Royce Chambers will be in DDT from 1st to 20th March. His acrobatic moves and matches from Melbourne Championship Wrestling have been getting attention online and impressed the likes of Konosuke Takeshita. DDT is bringing in Chambers on Takeshita’s recommendation. Chambers is 180cm tall, weighs 86kg and has only been wrestling for two years.

Yuni closes out the childhood portion of his wrestling life by facing his career rival Kazuki Hirata.

MAO said he is honored to be competing for the KO-D Openweight Title less than 5 years into his pro wrestling career. Masato Tanaka has been wrestling since before MAO was born. MAO saw him for the first time on TV Asahi’s “World Pro Wrestling” television program back in 2010. He thinks Tanaka is one of the people who made him dream of becoming a pro wrestler so this will be a very special match. Also MAO believes the core of DDT is now made up of the DNA generation with Konosuke Takeshita and Tetsuya Endo right in the centre. Winning the KO-D Title will make MAO join the centre. Tanaka wants MAO to deliver his strange brand of wrestling because he does not want to lose against that style.

The #STRONGHEARTS return to continue their business partnership with DAMNATION. They face ALL OUT with their honorary member Chihiro Hashimoto in an Elimination Tag match. Hopefully Yuki Iino has gotten over his problems with Hashimoto. Also Shunma Katsumata is back from his minor surgery. Elsewhere CIMA teams up with Soma Takao, who used to wrestle as BIMA in his college club days.

Meiko Satomura gave Shigehiro Irie the Death Valley Bomb then held him back while HARASHIMA pinned Mizuki Watase with the Somato. Satomura told the crowd afterward that she wants to appeal her way of life in DDT because she has pride in what she has accomplished in joshi.

A missed Spear ruined ALL OUT’s chances of beating DAMNATION in their latest showdown. Yuki Iino targeted Tetsuya Endo but a well timed dodge led Iino Spearing into Konosuke Takeshita instead. Endo capitalised with the Handspring Leg Lariat and Swivel Torture Rack Bomb to win.

Yukio Sakaguchi and Tanomusaku Toba both focused on trying to get either a knockout win or a submission over the other. A clash between Sakaguchi’s High Kick and Toba’s Right Hook ended in Sakaguchi’s favour and Yukinori Matsui stopped the match when Toba hit the canvas with no sign of recovery. After the match Sakaguchi reminisced about the old days and thanked Toba for bringing him back to his entry to DDT 6 years ago. He asked for another match sometime but Toba pleaded with him not to do it. Shuten-dōji then invited Toba to join them for a toast but they did not have a drink for him, so Toba grabbed tea from a spectator.

Before the DDT Video Group 3 Way Match began, Yumehito Imanari revealed that he is quitting his role in the team and part of it is Super Sasadango Machine’s fault! Norikazu Fujioka pleaded with him to change his mind otherwise the entire team would collapse without him. Imanari then proposed to change the match into a 2 Vs 1 Handicap Match. If Imanari loses to Sasadango & Fujioka then he will not quit the Video Team. Fujioka tried to stand up and act tough but Sasadango reminded him he doesn’t have the body or the training to wrestle. Fujioka proved Sasadango wrong by doing a Hurricanrana. Unfortunately he did it to Sasadango instead of Imanari. That led to Imanari hitting Sasadango with the Chubby Knee to win the match. Sasadango accepted defeat and said he and Fujioka will do their best to run DDT’s video production without Imanari. However Imanari had a change in heart and decided he will keep working with them when he can while he wrestles for Ganbare☆Wrestling.

Kazuki Hirata survived the Miracle Ecstasy from Makoto Oishi. He then countered the Jikiden Tornado Clutch into the Miracle One Shot Cradle to get DISASTER BOX the win. This was good progress for the Hirata, Toru Owashi & Yuki Ueno as they prepare for their KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match next month.

A big entertainment news story in Japan currently is the retirement of singer Namie Amuro. The DDT wrestler most effected by this news is Nobuhiro Shimatani. He wanted to sing her songs because her music changed his entire life. Sanshiro Takagi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga did what they could to stop him. Booing 2018 won the match and to add insult to injury, sang and danced along to one of Namie Amuro’s songs afterwards. Takagi didn’t know the lyrics so he just hummed along to the music.

Takagi & Sawa defended the titles around Japan’s smaller indies in outdoor Falls Count Anywhere matches. Their match with Moriya & Great Kayser took place in Fighting Ultimate Crazy Kings, also known as FU★CK.

He will certainly end up having a DDT Extreme Title defence but against who is the big question.

2. Soma Takao & Mad Paulie defeated Keisuke Ishii & Yuki Ueno when Takao pinned Ueno with the Gin And Tonic (10:10).
3. Keisuke Okuda defeated Yuki Iino with a Torso Sleeper Hold (6:53).
4. Masahiro Takanashi, Kazusada Higuchi & Mizuki defeated Makoto Oishi, Akito & Cherry when Takanashi pinned Oishi with the Hangover!! (9:54).
5. Antonio Vs Pale One For The First Time In 42 Years! Nagoya Specialty Special Single Match: Antonio Honda defeated Konaka = Pale One with the Octopus Hold (10:09).
6. Shigehiro Irie, Jason Kincaid & Ryan Davidson defeated HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi & Kouki Iwasaki when Irie pinned Iwasaki with the Beast Bomber (11:34).
7. King Of DDT 2018 Best 8 Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Mike Bailey & MAO when Endo pinned MAO with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (18:10).

With the King Of DDT Quarter Finals around the corner, the remaining wrestlers are making their presence felt. Daisuke Sasaki brought up how Tetsuya Endo won last year’s tournament and will do the same this year. Sasaki even talked down his own chances of winning to put over Endo. DAMNATION’s newest member Nobuhiro Shimatani then got in the ring and enthusiastically took over the end of show speech. He called himself the knob that makes the world spin around DAMNATION and he joined in the group pose by posing in front of the other members. Sasaki gave him a Low Blow to get him out of the way.

Shigehiro Irie gave a violent message to the absent Danshoku Dieno after Match #6. Irie took a beaten Kouki Iwasaki and gave him a Pentagon Jr. style Inverted Armbreaker to injure Iwasaki’s shoulder. Irie then yelled that he will do this to Dieno the next time he’s in the ring with him!

After the match between Antonio Honda and Konaka = Pale One, Honda asked the fans if they knew the connection between him and Konaka. He described it like taking a step in one direction with one leg and then a step in the other direction with the other leg. In between that is the penis! Honda realised the detail in his speech was getting lewd so he ended it by telling everyone that they would not exist today without a penis. He then made everyone chant “1, 2, 3, Penis!”

The Mizuki in Match #4 is not the Mizuki from Tokyo Joshi Pro but a masked joshi from the local Toyota Pro Wrestling league making her DDT debut. I wasn’t able to find much information about her other than this weekend was the 4th anniversary of her debut.
