TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SHE KNOWS HER WAY ~SHINO SUZUKI HOMECOMING SHOW~”, 16/05/2026
Shizuoka Shimizu Marine Building

1. HIMAWARI & Shino Suzuki Vs Haru Kazashiro & Toga

For Shino Suzuki’s homecoming show the Bumping gRitters will be fighting in the main event! It is a clash of the 2023 Class when Suzuki & HIMAWARI take on Haru Kazashiro & Toga.

Both Shoko Nakajima and Yuki Kamifuku will not be at the show. They are instead booked for Aja Kong’s 40th Anniversary show taking place in Okinawa. Nakajima is in the opener while Kamifuku will be on the team opposing Kong in the main event!

BASARA “BASARA 307 ~KOO~”, 29/05/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. FUMA Vs Seiya Morohashi
2. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino (c) Vs Minoru Fujita & Yasu Urano
3. Union MAX Title: Shuji Ishikawa (c) Vs SAGAT

SAGAT has become the first wrestler in BASARA to get a three count pin on Shuji Ishikawa. He’s now aiming to do it again to become the new Union MAX Champion.

Just when Aijin Tag felt like they have cleaned out BASARA’s tag division, Minoru Fujita & Yasu Urano have appeared and even stolen one of the Iron Fist Tag Team Title belts! It’s all so Fujita can promote his Fujita Pro Wrestling School project and he’s even thinking about renaming the tag titles under that brand if he and Urano properly win them.

What was supposed to be a Union Pro tribute tag team has fallen apart after FUMA and Seiya Morohashi failed to win the Iron Fist Tag Titles. They both blame each other for the loss so will settle their differences in the ring.

BASARA “BASARA 306 ~UTAGE~” Results

May 1, 2026

BASARA “BASARA 306 ~UTAGE~”, 01/05/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Yasu Urano defeated Takeru Inoue with a Headlock (9:10).
2. Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial: Ayato Yoshida defeated Banana Senga and Gouma Ryu (9:28).
3. SAGAT & Minoru Fujita defeated Isami Kodaka & Shuji Ishikawa when SAGAT pinned Ishikawa with the Gore Grind (11:47).
4. 4 Way Tag Match: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Tsutomu Oosugi defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Daichi Kazato, Takumi Tsukamoto & Daiki Shimomura and Lil’ Kraken & Akira Jo when Hiroshi pinned Kraken with the Perfect Plex (8:57).
5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino (c) defeated FUMA & Seiya Morohashi when Kamino pinned FUMA with the Lariat (18:50).
*V2 for Aijin Tag.

With a second successful title defence having just taken place, Aijin Tag are feeling like they are BASARA’s best team out there. They asked for any other teams to come out and challenge them when Yasu Urano appeared. Urano then called down Minoru Fujita to join him. They talked about the Fujita Pro Wrestling School Youtube channel that has been running for around six years now yet neither of them can really explain what the entire project is meant to be. If it’s a marketing brand then they need to promote it somehow and Urano thinks the best way to do that is turn the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles into the Fujita Pro Wrestling School Tag Team Titles. The two teams then got into a fight and while Aijin Tag came out on top, Urano & Fujita fled the ring with one of the tag title belts. They demanded to get a title match at 29th May, which Aijin Tag accepted.

Meanwhile FUMA & Seiya Morohashi began to blame each other backstage over losing in the main event. Morohashi thought FUMA could have finished the champions off if he had fought a little harder. FUMA suggested he could have been able to submit Takato Nakano or Masato Kamino if Morohashi did a better job of holding the other wrestler back. The two ended up challenging each other to a match on 29th May.

A regular Spear followed by the Gore Grind resulted in SAGAT scoring a surprise victory over Shuji Ishikawa. He quickly challenged him for the Union MAX Title on 29th May. Ishikawa accepted because he wants to get revenge on SAGAT for being the first person in BASARA to pin him for a three count.

It’s unusual to see a wrestler enter a Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial for the second time and even more unusual when it happens in a short amount of time. Ayato Yoshida was back in the court room just over a month after his first appearance for the alleged crime of threatening Gouma Ryu somewhere in Tokyo on 30th April. He tried to grab the microphone from Banana Senga but unintentionally threw him down, adding a second charge to this trial. The witness was a referee who complained about Yoshida calling him shitty but Yoshida’s defence was to ask what is wrong with telling a referee he is crap at his job? Eventually everyone in the trial wanted to fight Yoshida but he easily defeated all of them at once to be proven Not Guilty. He continued to beat a few of them around the ring while he was leaving.

Their opponents are two heavyweights that Matsui decided should team together, Jun Akiyama & Shuji Ishikawa! Matsui tends to have “Double Main Events” on his shows and this year will continue that trend.

A big change has already happened to the King Of DDT tournament with Kaisei Takechi having to pull out of the tournament. Hirata doesn’t think he can pull off a miracle this time but promises to try his best for everyone’s sake.

SUPER JAPAN “A PRO WRESTLING SHOW WITHOUT A NAME”, 27/05/2026
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: Pero Pero Oyakata Vs Da Pump Matsumoto
2. Special Tag Match: Yuji Nagata & CIMA Vs Sanshiro Takagi & Poison Sawada JULIE

The future of Super Japan is safe after its fans judged in favour of these shows continuing for the time being. Sanshiro Takagi is continuing to think up of alternate universe ideas regarding the early years of DDT. The latest is he now wants to team up with Poison Sawada JULIE after they’ve been enemies for years, decades even. Yuji Nagata is sticking around as the Super Japan ace and is even donating an event booking he had in his pocket to let this show take place in the same venue. He will team up with CIMA, forming “WCW’s Strongest Tag Team” for the occasion. Now that sounds like a WCW… Deep… Cut… in the making.

The newest match announced is straight out of N●tflix. It is the “Re●l American” Pero Pero Oyakata against “The Queen Of V●llains” Da Pump Matsumoto!

DDT/NJPW “ONE-ON-ONE CONFRONTATION PART 2 ~SASADANGO-GUN VS YANO-GUN 5-ON-5 ELIMINATION TAG BATTLE~”, 08/06/2025

3. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
4. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
5. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X

Sasadango-gun: Super Sasadango Machine, MAO

Yano-gun: Toru Yano, El Desperado

Both Super Sasadango Machine and Toru Yano have chosen the first members of their teams. Sasadango has picked MAO from DDT while Yano is taking El Desperado from New Japan. Sasadango believes he has the advantage because he does not belong to any specific group in DDT. He’s under the impression that Yano will only choose wrestlers from New Japan’s Hontai unit.

Mune Returning From Injury, Aniki Vs Toga, Hiroshi’s 15th Anniversary

April 13, 2026

I am making the (somewhat foolish) trip to Las Vegas this week to see Tokyo Joshi Pro amongst other wrestling shows (also Golden Knights ice hockey and a Battlebots taping of all things). Updates on here might get delayed while I’m over there but if I find time to write about them, it will show up eventually. Before I go there will be a DDT Around The World article coming up along with a guide for the TJPW Las Vegas show. They are both coming up tomorrow.

DDT “DREAM LIGHTS ~HOW DO YOU LIKE DDT WEDNESDAY~”, 15/04/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

0. Dramatic Dark Match: Ilusion Vs X

4. Special Single Match: YOH Vs Antonio Honda
5. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato (c) Vs Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Hinata Kasai
6. DDT Extreme Title – Hardcore Table Crash Match: Hideki Okatani (c) Vs Yukio Naya
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Yuki Iino

This is the match order for Wednesday’s DDT show in Korakuen Hall. At the moment it has not been announced who Ilusion will face in the dark match.

GANBARE☆PRO “HATAAGE 13TH ANNIVERSARY – MAD MAX 2026”, 29/04/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Munetatsu Nakamura, Shota Kawakami & Sentaro Motojima Vs Choun Shiryu, PSYCHO & Yuya Susumu
2. Moeka Haruhi Vs Ram Kaichow
3. YuuRI Vs Utami Hayashihita
4. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match: Ken Ohka & Guts Ishijima Vs Masaaki Mochizuki & Ryota Nakatsu
5. Minoru Suzuki & Shuichiro Katsumura Vs Hideki “Shrek” Sekine & Akira Shoji
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga (c) Vs Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi
7. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii

In good news, Munetatsu Nakamura has been cleared to return to the ring after spending the last three months recovering from a herniated cervical disc. Ganbare☆Pro has added him to their Korakuen show at the end of the month, putting him in the opener along with Choun Shiryu to even out the teams.

BASARA “BASARA 306 ~UTAGE~”, 01/05/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial: Ayato Yoshida Vs Banana Senga Vs Gouma Ryu
2. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino (c) Vs FUMA & Seiya Morohashi

The specter of Union Pro continues to hang over BASARA with the latest challengers approaching Aijin Tag. The duo of FUMA & Seiya Morohashi are the next team to challenge for the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles.

Hang on we just had Ayato Yoshida on trial last month. What the hell kind of trouble has he gotten into this time?

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “YES! WONDERLAND ’26”, 04/05/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Ryo Mizunami Vs Toga
2. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Haru Kazashiro

Yesterday Ryo Mizunami announced she has rejoined Sendai Girls after previously being affiliated with them from 2007-2012. If there was any worry that the news means she would no longer appear in TJPW anymore than fear not because she is showing up for Golden Week to have a singles match against Toga!

BASARA “TRANS-AM ★ HIROSHI GOLDEN 15TH ANNIVERSARY”, 15/05/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Kazuki Hirata Vs Daichi Kazato
2. Minoru Fujita & Antonio Honda Vs Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto
3. MEN’S Teioh, Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga Vs Takato Nakano, Masato Kamino & Takeru Inoue
4. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Ayumu Honda

I’m thinking over the fifteen years of Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and wonder how things could have been if he never suffered that shoulder injury back in 2014. Back then DDT struck a deal with All Japan for AJPW to “rent” Hiroshi for six months. He then dislocated his shoulder right before he was supposed to start his AJPW excursion. When he recovered he got to do a handul of tours with them in 2015 and 2016 but it wasn’t anything worth talking about at the time. And then he made the switch from Americana pro wrestler into the yoga weirdo we see today. But he’s our yoga weirdo so it’s nice to see this milestone get celebrated. Whenever he hangs out with Ayumu Honda he always speaks on his behalf, often misinterpretating his promos. Honda will get a chance to shut him up on his special day.

One of Hiroshi’s influences is on the card. He has both fought and teamed with MEN’S Teioh several times back in Hiroshi’s Union Pro days.

*V3 for Shuji Ishikawa.

The second ever Gaisen Sakura show put together by Ryuichi Sekine and his wife Nodoka Tenma brought a day of wrestling to their home of Shinjo Village in Okayama. Matches were provided by both BASARA and Tokyo Joshi Pro with Sekine taking part in a main event Union MAX Title challenge against Shuji Ishikawa. Although he wasn’t able to win the belt in front of his wife and child, Sekine promised everyone he will continue to live in the village determined to never give up.

Tenma’s sister Yuki Aino teamed up with the rest of the Tojo Tokosatsu Club to fight against Aja Kong again. She also had to dodge out of the way from a top rope smashing hammer attack from Mizuki. Mizuki had some more misfortune after that when Kong accidentally hit her over the head with the steel can that was aimed for someone else. The Club were given 10kg of A5 Grade wagyu beef as their reward for winning the match. They knew it was raining in the area yesterday and believe it went away today because Kong is really a super ultra sunshine girl.
