Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Cherry Vs Banny Oikawa
2. Sensual Novel Death Match: Naoki Tanizaki Vs Hiroshi Yamato

I get that Hiroshi Yamato is a lover, not a fighter. But Naoki Tanizaki? Really? Maybe back when he was a surfer.

Jiro Kuroshio will be on the show. Is he mean enough to fit in with YaroZ?

1. Saki Akai “Okibariyasu” 7 Match Series – 1st Match: Saki Akai Vs Tsukasa Fujimoto
2. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita/HARASHIMA (c) Vs X

Saki Akai is setting up a series of matches against joshi from outside of DDT. She wants to show off what she can do on her own while still presenting how interesting a place DDT is. It is called the “Okibariyasu” series because that word means “Do Your Best” when said in the Kyoto dialect. The first match is against Tsukasa Fujimoto from Ice Ribbon. Akai had wrestled her once before in an exhibition match five years ago back when she was training to be a wrestler.

Shinya Aoki, Chris Brookes, Jiro Kuroshio and Hiroshi Yamato will all be on the show.

Atsushi Onita demonstrated the power of the Current Blast to some of the wrestlers booked on the show. Yukio Naya, FUMA and Yumehito Imanari wanted to know what the blasts are like so Onita hit a pumpkin with a current blast baseball bat. Obviously the pumpkin did not survive. Even more scary is Onita told them the blasts will be twice as powerful on the show! He wants to use the most powerful explosions ever for a current blast death match!

A joshi match will be the last addition to the show.

The last time Magnitude Kishiwada was in Ganbare☆Wrestling was in March 2018. On that show he defeated Ken Ohka not once but twice when Ohka said he would fight him again and again until he could beat him. A long time has passed since then but they are going to lock horns once more, this time with Kouki Iwasaki and Shigehiro Irie also involved. Speaking of Iwasaki and Irie, those two have clashed several times in Ganpro this year so their interactions are something to look out for too.

When the participants for the UWA World 6-Man Tag Team Titles match got together, Urano bragged that Nakano could beat Ohka easily. Ohka took offence and challenged Nakano to a match. When it was accepted the two began fighting until Urano kicked Ohka with a Low Blow.

Imanari thanks both Onita and Takagi for making him a pro wrestler, one who will help build the new era of Current Blast death matches! Asuka has already done Hardcore and Death Match wrestling so she is looking forward to doing Current Blast matches. Naya says it has been half a year since he signed with DDT. BASARA’s October Cards, Bakuha Koshien Federation

October 18, 2019

BASARA “BASARA 109 ~BANQUET~”, 23/10/2019
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Semi Final: Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT
2. IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Semi Final: FUMA & Yusuke Kubo Vs Fuminori Abe & Takato Nakano
3. Takumi Tsukamoto & Akiyori Takizawa Vs Daichi Kazato & Masato Kamino
4. 3 Way Tag Match: Ryota Nakatsu & Naoki Tanizaki Vs Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga Vs Yasu Urano & Gouma Ryu
5. Ryuichi Sekine & Minoru Fujita Vs Masahiro Takanashi & P-Nutz
6. IRON FIST TAG Titles – IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT – Final: X & X Vs X & X

I’d go look up who P-Nutz is but I immediately think of the Peanuts song from Shooting Stars and I fall down the hole of watching clips from that show instead of writing this.

Alright, alright, I’ll snap out of it. P-Nutz is a Gatoh Move wrestler from Thailand. Masahiro Takanashi is regularly involved with Gatoh Move away from his DDT appearances. This kind of match up continues to prove that Takanashi’s upcoming Union MAX Title match with Ryuichi Sekine is not about BASARA Vs DDT.

BASARA “BASARA 110 ~INOHANA CASTLE~”, 27/10/2019

5. Ryuichi Sekine, Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura Vs Yuji Hino, Fuminori Abe & Yasu Urano

Fuminori Abe & Yasu Urano are bringing in a tank of a Fxxkin’ tank of a man to help them fight Sento Minzoku. Whenever BASARA shows up in Chiba, Yuji Hino is usually close by.

BAKUHA KOSHIEN FEDERATION “BAKUHA KOSHIEN 2019”, 17/11/2019
Kanagawa Tsurumi Fruit & Vegetable Market

1. Bakuha Koshien Tournament Final – Current Blast 6-Man Tag Death Match: Atsushi Onita, Kenichiro Arai & Tournament Finalist A Vs Sanshiro Takago, Shinya Aoki & Tournament Finalist A

What on earth is going on here? Today Atsushi Onita announced that Shinya Aoki will be participating in the “BAKUHA KOSHIEN 2019” main event. Onita wants Aoki to experience what a Current Blast Death Match is like. The news seems to be a surprise for Aoki. He was left confused by the announcement and is already trying to get Hideki Suzuki to take his place. The organisers think Aoki is just joking. The main event will also feature Kenichiro Arai as well as the two finalists of a mini tournament that is currently being planned. The participants for the mini tournament are expected to be announced next week, probably on 24th October since that fits with Onita’s schedule. Only the final will be a Current Blast Death Match.

Then the news gets a bit weirder. Sanshiro Takagi held a press conference to announce the formation of the Bakuha Koshien Federation (Bakuharen for short). That’s not weird. What is weird is Takagi appointed Pro Wrestling NOAH’s former president Masayuki Uchida as the president of Bakuharen! Takagi wants this project to be taken care of properly and he thinks Uchida is the man for the job. Uchida is both nervous and excited to take on the role. He wants Bakuharen to leave a lasting legacy in Japan’s wrestling world. His first task is examining applications with Onita and Takagi from the wrestlers around the world wanting to be on the show.

1. Keigo Nakamura Debut Match: Naomi Yoshimura Vs Keigo Nakamura
2. Isami Kodaka Vs Nobuhiro Shimatani
3. Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Jiro Kuroshio
4. DDT Megatonweight Single Match: Cody Hall Vs Yukio Naya

6. Road To Ultimate Party 2019! Special 8-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie Vs Akito, Shunma Katsumata, MAO & Asuka
7. Road To Ultimate Party 2019! Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Iino Vs HARASHIMA & Toru Owashi

At last Sunday’s show in Osaka, Toru Owashi threw in a shirt like it was a towel to call off the main event when HARASHIMA would not submit to the Walls Of Takeshita. Afterwards Owashi stood up to Konosuke Takeshita and said he will now be teaming with HARASHIMA at this Saturday’s show. Yuki Ueno was originally in that spot but now he is teaming with Kazuki Hirata in the Gauntlet Tag match.

It looks like Keigo Nakamura wasn’t being honest about his weight gain. Last week he announced that he reached his goal of reaching 75kg. Naomi Yoshimura made Nakamura weigh himself again today and they found out he is now actually at 68kg! Somehow he is losing weight instead of gaining it. At least his match with Yoshimura is still going ahead.

1. Soma Takao & Mad Paulie Vs Cody Hall & Antonio Honda
2. Road To Ultimate Party 2019! Special 10-Man Tag Match: Danshoku Dieno, Super Sasadango Machine, Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata, Makoto Oishi, Yukio Naya, Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Iino, Asuka, Saki Akai

7. Road To Ultimate Party 2019! Special 6-Man Tag Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Ken Ohka & Shoko Nakajima Vs HARASHIMA, Isami Kodaka & Yuka Sakazaki

The main event has a 30 minute time limit but is also now best 2 out of 3 falls. The people involved has made this such an all star affair that DDT didn’t want the match to only last for one fall. HARASHIMA is not 100% physically fit after what happened on Sunday but he promises he is 100% mentally ready for this match and also Sumo Hall. Takeshita wants this to be a great match at a global level because it is significant for all of the DDT brands involved.

Daisuke Sasaki welcomes the idea of defending the KO-D Tag Team Titles at Sumo Hall in a Hardcore Match. That means he and the rest of DAMNATION can cheat to their heart’s content. The preview 4 Way at Korakuen Hall is also now a Hardcore match so we may get more examples of what they can do.

Masahiro Takanashi is impressed by how quickly Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura have bonded as a team. When he saw them challenge for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles with HARASHIMA last week, he didn’t see DISASTER BOX but rather HARASHIMA with Nautilus by his side. They will become KO-D Tag Team Champions some day which is why Takanashi & Chris Brookes need to beat them now. Also Takanashi wants to win the Tag Titles so the world will recognise him as Brookes’ DDT partner instead of Maki Itoh.

11. BLACK OUT Presents KO-D Openweight Title & DDT Extreme Title: Konosuke Takeshita (K/c) Vs HARASHIMA (E/c)

The main event is sponsored by DDT’s official energy drink BLACK OUT. The winner receives a 2,000,000 yen prize as well as a year’s supply of BLACK OUT. The Kenny Omega & Riho Vs Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita match is sponsored by Souken Holdings. The winning team gets a coupon worth 1,000,000 yen for home renovation. This might be a useless prize for Omega because he doesn’t live in Japan anymore.

Michiaki Nakano from Souken Holdings will be at ringside for the pre-show Battle Royal. He likes to attend these matches so he can try and win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. However the belt is currently being held by Kikutaro and he’s living in America now. Hisaya Imabayashi has pledged to bring the Iron Man Title back to Japan in time for the show.
