Six envelopes were hung above the ring for the main event. Out of the 15 wrestlers fighting over them it was Mizuki Watase, Tetsuya Endo, MAO, Antonio Honda, Ken Ohka and Meiko Satomura who pulled one down each. Kazusada Higuchi went on to win the Battle Royal portion of the match, last pinning his rival Kota Umeda to get the guaranteed KO-D Openweight Title shot on 24th June. After the match each of the prize winners opened their envelopes to discover what they won. Everybody got a Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere gauntlet except for Ohka. He pulled out a piece of paper that said “Punishment Game”. He now has to participate in one for next week’s episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI”.

The others can cash in their gauntlet for a KO-D Title match whenever they want between now and 14th October. However if any of them lose a wrestling match in any company they must pass the gauntlet over to the person who beats them. That rule stays in effect until the title match is cashed in. Watase has no intention to use his title shot while Shigehiro Irie is the champion. He will wait until somebody else beats Irie but that totally won’t happen. Endo wants to sell his gauntlet. MAO thinks his gauntlet looks cool so he doesn’t want to get rid of it yet. Honda will wait for the right moment to cash in. Satomura has a busy schedule with Sendai Girls but will keep close attention to DDT in the meantime. She wants to get her title match whenever the opportunity is most attractive to her.

Daisuke Sasaki came to a decision over what kind of match HARASHIMA and Soma Takao will have for the DDT Extreme Title. It’s a match where chairshots and low blows don’t matter. It will be a 3 Way Match with himself included! HARASHIMA realised he will be in a 2-on-1 Handicap then wondered is Sasaki was still injured. Sasaki admitted he was never injured! He took that back when Yukio Sakaguchi threatened him. HARASHIMA accepted the match idea and promised the fans he will definitely win.

The AbemaTV audience got to decide the rules for Danshoku Dieno Vs Tanomusaku Toba. The choices included Normal Rules, Pinfall Only and KO Only but the viewers overwhelmingly chose the last option, Kiss Only. Pins and submissions would only count if the wrestler kissed the opponent in the process. Toba told everyone that he got married in February and he now has stepchildren. His 6th grade stepdaughter accepted him but his 1st grade stepson Yuto refuses to call him Dad. Toba wanted to beat Dieno to earn Yuto’s adoration. He hesitated to follow the Kiss Only rule but he had to do what he had to do. Unfortunately Dieno gave his own Lip Lock to Toba, hit an Exploder Suplex and won the match with the True Danshoku Driver. Dieno used his screen time after the match to speak to Yuto on the stream. Dieno said Toba is not even close to being a great person and he likes to visit Chinese salons to pass the time. But no matter how beaten up he gets, he always stands back up through clenched teeth even though he doesn’t have many teeth left. Toba promised he will make Yuto proud somehow. Dieno gave Toba another Lip Lock and he fell down, exposing his ass to the camera.

Makoto Oishi lived up to last week’s ruling and had his head shaved into a Reverse Mohawk. He defended the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title against Yoshihiko in a hard fought battle that ended in defeat. Oishi gave Yoshihiko a Turnbuckle Bomb then he climbed the turnbuckles for Corner Punches. Yoshihiko grabbed Oishi and Power Bombed him into the centre of the ring. It then hit the Resurrection for the three count to become the champion. Oishi swore revenge. At least on the bright side his new wife Misaki Ohata likes the hairstyle.

Shunma Katsumata says he is already feeling great after a week working out in Gold’s Gym. Konosuke Takeshita noticed Katsumata was more confident today and that added a sense of security surrounding their team.

The show began with a new commercial for the Suntory drink Jasmine Tea starring Kota Ibushi and Yuki Ueno. In the ad Ueno plays a salaryman who experiences a refreshing sensation from drinking Jasmine Tea that is represented by Ibushi giving him different wrestling moves.

-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Makoto Oishi defeated Saki Akai (c) by Pinfall (8:34 pm).
*Makoto Oishi becomes the 1,314th champion.

For almost 30 minutes both Konosuke Takeshita and Antonio Honda fought their hearts out in front of the Osaka crowd. The main event was a Happy Motels reunion with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and Yasu Urano accompanying Honda to the ring while Takeshita came out to the Happy Motels entrance theme. Honda acted sentimental when he did his “Gon, The Little Fox” spot, telling Takeshita and the others that if this becomes his last match he does not want it to end. Honda then poked Takeshita in the eyes and hit a Topé Suicida after Takeshita rolled out of the ring to recover. Honda threw many punches and Bionic Elbows to combat against Takeshita’s Lariats. When Takeshita countered a Sleeper Hold into a Blue Thunder Bomb 25 minutes in the match it was clear that both were tired. They narrowly avoided a double countout and continued hitting their big moves until the match devolved into duelling Bionic Elbows. The ended in another double knockdown with Yukinori Matsui beginning to count both of them out again. Takeshita made it to his feet in time but Honda couldn’t. That was enough for Matsui to end the match and declare Takeshita the winner by KO. After the match Takeshita talked about going to see his brother’s high school soccer game earlier in the day. It made him think about his own high school days and he realised he spent all of his time outside of school with wrestlers like Honda, Urano and Hiroshi. That time of his life was a happy won because he was wrestling in Happy Motels. There was only one thing about it he didn’t like and that was never getting the chance to wrestle a meaningful match with Honda. He got that today. Honda thanked Takeshita for the match and said he was glad to wrestle him for 30 minutes today.

Shigehiro Irie Vs Magnitude Kishiwada immediately started with a ringside brawl. Kishiwada attacked Irie with a chair, targeting Irie’s arms whenever he could. Kishiwada continued the heavy attacks by doing the Last Ride and the Diving Body Press plus more chairshots. Irie fought back with a Death Valley Bomb as well as Beast Bombers to counter Kishiwada’s Lariats. The Beast Bombers as well as the Cannonball Drop wore down Kishiwada until one more Beast Bomber kept him down for the three count. After the match Irie said he wanted to become a pro wrestler after watching figures like Kishiwada and Kengo Takai compete all over Osaka. Irie not only achieved his dream but he is also now the KO-D Openweight Champion. However, Irie is still not satisfied. There are still many things he must learn to become stronger and stronger. Irie asked Kishiwada to plese fight him again some day. Kishiwada told him they had a good match today and he shook his hand. He then told Irie to defend the KO-D Title many times so he can become Osaka’s strongest wrestler!

Kikutaro, Kuishinbo Kamen and Super Sasadango Machine all found ways to get Matsui involved in their match. Sasadango had Kamen pinned after a Diving Knee Drop but Kikutaro grabbed Sasadango’s leg and applied a Crab Hold to make him submit.

Naomi Yoshimura said he experienced a similar feeling from wrestling Dick Togo to the one he got when he wrestled Akebono.

The usual unmasking tricks by Hiratimo Dragon made Yuni cry when he was disqualified for it. Makoto Oishi tried to cheer him up but it was a trap! Yuni caught him in a Small Package and pinned him to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Later at the end of the show Saki Akai encouraged Yuni to join her in the ring to say goodbye to the fans. That too was a trap for Akai to win the belt from Yuni. Oishi came back out, pinned Akai to take back the title and ran off. The show then closed with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi singing to the audience.

Turns out Akito’s recovery time was a short one. He was back in action competing in the opener and even got the winning pinfall. He made fun of Shunma Katsumata for only signing up for the standard membership at Gold’s Gym instead of the Master membership. While Katsumata is preparing to go after the KO-D Tag Team Titles, Akito personally wants to challenge for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.

Matsui wanted to give out the opening announcements but Hisaya Imabayashi wouldn’t let him. Yuki Iino was ordered to hold Matsui back in the corner while Imabayashi finished the segment.

1. Sanshiro Takagi, Ippanjin Munenori Sawa & Meiko Satomura Vs X, X & X

Isami Kodaka, Shunma Katsumata, Meiko Satmoura and Cassandra Miyagi have been added to the show. Every match is planned to be a trios match with two men and one woman on every team. The only confirmed team so far is Satomura joining Sanshiro Takagi & Ippanjin Munenori Sawa. Their team name is Hentai Sendai Big Boss. Satomura isn’t thrilled with the name. The reason this show is taking place is because Toshimaen holds a dark secret. By day it is an amusement park but by night it transforms into a fighter training facility. The facility exists to develop a champion for Japan to enter the Fighting World Cup held every four years. Takagi claims that he has the management rights for Japan’s entry this year and put this show together to find his champion.

8. Special Single Match ~Sustainable~: Shigehiro Irie Vs Magnitude Kishiwada
9. Special Single Match ~Heart~: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Antonio Honda

DDT held a press conference backstage in Korakuen Hall after “AUDIENCE 2018” ended to promote this show. Yukinori Matsui commented on all of the matches because he is organising the show as the link between DDT and the Osaka wrestling scene. He put together the Shigehiro Irie Vs Magnitude Kishiwada match because of their interactions in last year’s “DRAMATIC DREAMS!” show. Bad blood still exists between the two and that was shown when they had a chair duel in front of everyone. Kuishinbo Kamen also interviewed Super Sasadango Machine from the front row. Finally, Konosuke Takeshita and Antonio Honda spoke about their upcoming match against each other. Takeshita feels free as a bird now that he no longer has the pressures of defending the KO-D Openweight Title. However the downside of that is he has nothing to connect with and feels kind of aimless right now. Honda values freedom in pro wrestling and hopes to teach that lesson to Takeshita.

Injuries have caused some changes in the card. Yuki Ueno hasn’t recovered so Naomi Yoshimura takes his place in the match against Dick Togo. Also Shoichi Uchida broke his heel back in April and has not recovered in time to wrestle on this show. The good news is Akito has recovered from his injury and gets his first match back here.

1. KO-D Openweight Title Next Challenger Decision & Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Rumble: X Vs X

The crazy rumble is back. Several prizes will be on the line including a guaranteed KO-D Title shot on 24th June. The other prize is the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet. It works exactly like the Money In The Bank briefcase in WWE but there is the added condition that whoever owns the gauntlet has to defend it in every match they appear in until they cash in their title shot. There are usually several gauntlets up for grabs and that leads to a wave of gauntlet switches from wrestler to wrestler throughout the summer. It’s a handy way to make the lesser DDT shows more eventful to follow.

6. Special Single Match: Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA with the Gin And Tonic (8:41).
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Shigehiro Irie (c) defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Beast Bomber (18:25).
*V1 for Shigehiro Irie.

Years of friendship were cast aside all in the name of glory as Shigehiro Irie defended the KO-D Openweight Title against Keisuke Ishii. Both dealt big damage early with Ishii giving Irie a Neckbreaker onto the apron and later Irie Power Bombed Ishii onto the same spot. Irie took the Kneel Kick and kicked out of an Exploder Suplex. He gained control of the match with an Avalanche Death Valley Driver and got a nearfall with the Cannonball Drop. Ishii had a glimmer of hope left with a Hurricanrana but Irie hit back with the Beast Bomber to win. Irie wanted to shake Ishii’s hand after the match but Ishii refused. The next KO-D Title defence will take place on 24th June. The challenger will be determined on 29th May at the return of the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Rumble! The winner of the match gets the 29/5 title shot but there will also be other Right To Challenge prizes on the line too. Irie said he will defend the title anytime, he doesn’t care where or against who. His goal as champion is to defend the KO-D Title around the world in order to create a new scenery for DDT.

A new costume marked Soma Takao’s turn to DAMNATION complete. More than that, constant cheating helped him beat HARASHIMA. A distraction from Tetsuya Endo allowed Takao to Low Blow his opponent. Takao was about to be pinned with a Hurricane Driver when Daisuke Sasaki pulled the referee away. A turnbuckle pad was removed and HARASHIMA collided with the exposed metal. Takao then struck him with a chair and pinned him with the Gin And Tonic.

When the match was over, Sasaki told everyone that Takao achieved a perfect victory over HARASHIMA. Takao didn’t respond and stayed quiet. Sasaki then mockingly asked HARASHIMA to apologise to his fans for losing. Endo pretended to speak for him. All of DAMNATION ganged up on HARASHIMA until suddenly Shuten-dōji came to the rescue! They chased DAMNATION out of the ring and each of them shook HARASHIMA’s hand. Is this the start of a new alliance against DAMNATION?

Makoto Oishi wasn’t joking when he said he wanted a new generation of DDT wrestlers to replace the current generation. He made Nobuhiro Shimatani dress up like Danshoku Dieno, Daiki Shimomura dress up like Antonio Honda and Yuki Iino dress up like Super Sasadango Machine. They weren’t quite perfect copies. Iino had a PowerPoem to read instead of a PowerPoint presentation. However he wanted to review it by himself so he didn’t get involved in the match until late into it when Oishi ordered him to help. Iino entered the ring and Speared Oishi by accident. Dieno then pinned Oishi with the Gay-do Clutch. After the match Honda said his team were still mentally and physically energetic even though they were all over forty. Honda fainted from exhaustion before he could finish his sentence. Everyone else congratulated Dieno for turning 41 two days earlier.

Konosuke Takeshita pulled out the Turnbuckle Brainbuster to beat Shunma Katsumata. He wanted this match to motivate Katsumata. Part of that is to make Katsumata face his criticisms. He is a pro wrestler and pro wrestlers should not have to worry about criticism according to Takeshita. Katsumata also learned more about himself. He always pretended to be a nice little boy and he never knew what he was fighting for. Now he understands what to do and he hopes not to disappoint the rest of ALL OUT from now on.

Kicks from Kota Umeda and Lariats from Kazuzada Higuchi took such a toll on each other that both were left down for the count at the same time, resulting in a draw. Higuchi offered a handshake afterwards but Umeda kicked his hand away.

A left foot injury took Yuki Ueno out of the 4 Way Tag Match. DDT was still searching for a replacement when they found Shota working in the venue as part of the staff. Shota declined at first but took the spot when the audience chanted his name. He ended up losing the match to DAMNATION.

All three of the Dragon wrestlers unmasked themselves and successfully framed KUDO to win the match by DQ. Hiratimo Dragon is being coy about how many -timo Dragon wrestlers there are. Maybe there are more, maybe there aren’t.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga beat Rekka again. This time he blocked a cradle pin and pushed all his weight down on Rekka to get the three count.

This year’s Beer Garden week will be held in Shinjuku FACE from 30th July to 5th August. Tokyo Joshi Pro and BASARA will have their own produce days during the series. Also the King Of DDT 1st Round will be held on 31st July as part of the festivities. This year’s tournament is the largest ever with 32 wrestlers competing for a 1,000,000 yen prize.

The new DDT mascot that was introduced back in April has been named Doradori-kun.

6. DDT Extreme Title – Regular Rules: HARASHIMA (c) defeated KUDO with the Somato (13:34).
*V1 for HARASHIMA.
7. Hakata Specialty Special 4 Way Match: Shigehiro Irie defeated Keisuke Ishii, Kazusada Higuchi and Kota Umeda when Irie pinned Ishii with the Beast Bomber (14:10).

As we get closer to their KO-D Openweight Title match, Shigehiro Irie is starting to figure Keisuke Ishii out. In a reverse from last week’s 4 Way Match this time Irie was able to get the better of his challenger. Irie kicked out of Ishii’s Hurricanrana then dropped him with a Death Valley Driver. Ishii then won with the Cannonball Drop followed by the Beast Bomber.

HARASHIMA avenged last year’s loss to KUDO by beating him in his first DDT Extreme Title defence. Yuko Miyamoto definitely left some influence on the champion because he used the Fire Thunder on KUDO shortly before hitting the Somato for the win. Soma Takao tried to attack HARASHIMA with a chair after his victory speech. HARASHIMA grabbed another chair to fight back but he was attacked from behind by Tetsuya Endo and Mad Paulie. Takao then hit him with a chair shot. Takao said in a later interview that this is the road he chose and he does not regret it.

MAO and Yuki Ueno agreed to work together against Danshoku Dieno. Both of them got groped pretty badly by Dieno but the numbers game soon worked out. Ueno missed the Frog Splash when Dieno rolled out of the way but all that did was position Dieno for MAO’s Cannonball 450. MAO and Ueno were both happy because they perished the evil wrestler together. Dieno then came back and gave Ueno a Lip Lock before chasing MAO out of the ring.

Soma Takao is already beginning to fit into DAMNATION. He gave Masahiro Takanashi a Low Blow during the main event. However he didn’t take kindly to Tetsuya Endo referring him as DAMNATION’s new pet after the match. Endo wanted him to speak during the post match promo but Takao stayed quiet.

Shigehiro Irie has nothing to say other than one thing. Keisuke Ishii will never win the KO-D Openweight Title.

DAMNATION attacked HARASHIMA after the 4 Way Match. Takao left him laying with a chairshot across the head.

6. Maji Manji Big Three Single Match: HARASHIMA defeated Tetsuya Endo by Disqualification when Mad Paulie attacked HARASHIMA (4:15).
7. Kota Umeda “Mad Dog” 7 Match Series – 2nd Match ~ Hardcore Match: Ryuji Ito defeated Kota Umeda with the Dragon Splash (11:05).

Kota Umeda’s journey of challenges entered it’s second phase with a Hardcore Match against the “Death Match Dragon” Ryuji Ito. Umeda was hit with chairs and a barbed wire baseball bat. However he got to return the favour by jumping off a ladder and splashing Ito through a table. Ito dodged the Penalty Kick and stunned Umeda with the Dragon Kick. A Superplex onto a pile of chairs got Ito a nearfall. Umeda couldn’t recover and was pinned with the Dragon Splash. Umeda learned after the match that his next opponent as part of his trial is Masato Tanaka! When the surprise of that announcement went away, Kazusada Higuchi challenged Umeda to a singles match at the 20th May Korakuen Hall show.

The match between HARASHIMA and Tetsuya Endo ended with Mad Paulie attacking HARASHIMA. Daisuke Sasaki entered the ring but needed a cane to move around because of his injury. He swung it at HARASHIMA but he ducked and Paulie took the blow. Soma Takao ran out to rescue HARASHIMA with a chair in hand. Takao was ready to attack when he turned around and hit HARASHIMA instead! Soma gave him the Gin And Tonic then removed his Smile Squash shirt to reveal a red lettered DAMNATION shirt underneath! Sasaki told everyone the big news. Soma Takao is DAMNATION’s fifth man! Takao told Sasaki he is not his pet. Takao was sick of HARASHIMA being selfish and this turn had been in the works for a long time.

A viewer poll determined the stipulation for Danshoku Dieno Vs Makoto Oishi. The loser would have to either get hit in the butt with a baseball bat, kiss Hisaya Imabayashi or get their hair styled into a perm. The AbemaTV audience chose the Perm option. Dieno won the match and asked Oishi to help him search for like minded souls. However Oishi has other plans. He thinks guys like Dieno, Antonio Honda and Super Sasadango Machine are now too old for DDT and it’s time for a new generation of wrestlers to replace them. Oishi will look for two young wrestlers to team with so they can destroy Dieno, Honda & Sasadango on 20th May.

Keisuke Ishii’s plan of targeting Shigehiro Irie’s right knee is working perfectly so far. Ishii won another match over Irie today. He said that exploiting Irie’s weakness has made him become more confident. Irie on the other hand is getting more and more furious over the situation. Over on the other end Shunma Katsumata is beginning to figure out what his own problem is. He reckons his heart is weak. Konosuke Takeshita agreed and told him that he has guts but that is different from having heart. His advice to Katsumata is not to be afraid of criticism or of getting beaten up more.

It looked like Yuki Ueno got the better of Higuchi when they brawled outside the ring. Ueno placed Higuchi on a table but by the time he got back into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle Higuchi sat back up, gave Ueno a look and got off the table. Ueno almost got lucky when he countered the Doctor Bomb into a Hurricanrana but Higuchi recovered and hit the Doctor Bomb properly for the win.

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title was defended on “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” for the first time. Saki Akai went into the Battle Royal as the champion but the belt went to Masahiro Takanashi then Gorgeous Matsuno and ended with Nobuhiro Shimatani. When he walked up the ramp to leave he was attacked and Body Slammed by Sanshiro Takagi. The guest commentator Reina Fujie covered him but he kicked out, which counts as a successful title defence. Akai then kicked Shimatani in the face and pinned him to win back the title. Akai said her goal is to make the Iron Man Title recognisable around the world.

Shigehiro Irie was left in bad shape when Keisuke Ishii defeated him in the 4 Way Match. At first Irie was dominant. He wiped out Kazusada Higuchi with the Best Bomber then when Higuchi was seated in the corner, Irie gave Ishii a Cannonball Death Valley Driver into Higuchi. If that wasn’t enough, Irie later gave Higuchi a Piledriver on top of Ishii! Kota Umeda was there to cut off Irie’s pins. Irie Headbutted Umeda but Ishii got up and gave Irie a German Suplex. Ishii targeted Irie’s right knee until Irie had difficulty moving on his feet. That left him vulnerable to the Kneel Kick and gave Ishii a big victory. Irie was being checked on by his friends when Ishii grabbed the microphone. Ishii said it’s now ten years since he debuted in DDT and he now must win the KO-D Openweight Title! Backstage Irie said he will make Ishii regret ever challenging him for the title.

A heated match between Soma Takao and Tetsuya Endo was made even more hectic when Mad Paulie interfered and HARASHIMA came out to even the odds. Paulie had attacked HARASHIMA earlier in the show after Match #4 ended. Paulie dragged Yukinori Matsui out of the ring then hit Takao with a Lariat. Endo climbed the corner to finish the match but HARASHIMA appeared and Dropkicked Paulie into Endo! Takao gave Endo the Gin And Tonic while HARASHIMA revived Matsui so he could count the pin. Takao still wants to destroy Daisuke Sasaki but next on his hitlist is Mad Paulie!

Danshoku Dieno looked up Antonio Honda’s medical record before their match and discovered that Honda currently has an injured finger on his right hand. According to Honda’s doctor, if he does the Gongitsune sign with his hand one more time his fingers will crumble and fall apart! Honda couldn’t resist doing the sign so Dieno grabbed his hand and bent his finger in a Seated Finger Lock to make him give up. Honda mourned over not being able to do the pose until he recovers but he was still able to do a Too Sweet sign with Dieno.

At the beginning of the show Kouki Iwasaki told everyone he was hoping to win his match because he has never won in Hokkaido before. Well fortune was on his side today because he did win his match!

In the opener both Takatimo Dragon and Hiratimo Dragon unmasked behind the referee’s back. They handed their masks over to Daiki Shimomura and when the referee saw him with the masks he disqualified him.

Shigehiro Irie and Keisuke Ishii tried to fight each other after the main event but they were kept apart.

The hometown hero Makoto Oishi did his best but wasn’t able to beat Konosuke Takeshita. The Jikiden Tornado Clutch was kicked out of and Oishi was put away with the Surprise Rose.

HARASHIMA said it was nice to remember how intense KUDO’s Backspin Kick is. Masahiro Takanashi pushed for KUDO to win the DDT Extreme Title. He told everyone that last night KUDO went out drinking in the rain wearing a T-shirt. That’s how extreme he is! And the Extreme Title should only belong to the most extreme wrestler.

Hiratimo Dragon’s mask accidentally slipped off when he escaped from the Danshoku Driver and the mask got caught against Danshoku Dieno’s tights. That was still enough for the referee to disqualify Dieno.

MAO thanked Kazusada Higuchi for providing strong support as part of their main event victory. Even though the show was in MAO’s home city he didn’t get a hero’s welcome from the crowd. He told them that broke his heart.

Tetsuya Endo dedicated his win over Masahiro Takanashi to Daisuke Sasaki. He also isn’t happy that he has to replace Sasaki as Soma Takao’s opponent this Sunday. According to Endo he never agreed to take the match.

Keisuke Ishii avoided Shigehiro Irie as much as he could during their trios match. Irie said DDT is giving them several opportunities to fight before their KO-D Openweight Title match so Ishii can’t run away from him forever.

Danshoku Dieno’s urges got out of control and caused his match with Mad Paulie to be called off. Paulie, Yukinori Matsui and Yuki Iino were all targeted by Dieno.

In the 3 Way Match Antonio Honda unmasked Hiratimo Dragon by accident. In a panic Honda threw the mask to Tsuyoshi Kikuchi. Kikuchi wore the mask and tried to continue wrestling but the referee disqualified him and awarded Hiratimo the victory.
