BASARA Generation 61 Minute Clash, Sasadango Vs Aoki, Title Matches In January

November 26, 2019

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “FALL TOUR ’19 ~BEST REGARDS~”, 30/11/2019
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. 3 Way Match: Nodoka Tenma Vs Yuki Kamifuku Vs Haruna Neko
2. Shoko Nakajima Vs Mina Shirakawa
3. Miu Watanabe Vs Yuki Aino
4. Maki Itoh & Pom Harajuku Vs Hikari Noa & Mahiro Kiryu
5. Sakisama Vs Raku
6. Rika Tatsumi Vs Misao
7. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Suzume Vs Miyu Yamashita, Yuna Manase & Mirai Maiumi

Is this Rika Tatsumi’s last chance to bring Hyper Misao back? She has an idea to do something for her one on one match with Misao. What on earth could it be?

Marika Kobashi will be in attendance to give an update on her status. She has been absent from Tokyo Joshi Pro since the summer to study for her university entrance exam.

BASARA “BASARA 113 ~NISHIARAI DAISHI RING~”, 15/12/2019
Tokyo Nishiarai Daishi West Studio

0. Exhibition Match: Ryuichi Sekine Vs Tetsuo Usui
1. Customer Lottery Tag Match: Ryota Nakatsu, Fuminori Abe, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, SAGAT
2. Customer Lottery Decision Only Match: Isami Kodaka Vs Masato Kamino
3. 61 Minute Best 2 Out Of Three Falls: Daiki Shimomura Vs Takato Nakano

The BASARA generation rivalry between Daiki Shimomura and Takato Nakano has come to this. They will face off in a three fall match with a combined 61 minute time limit. It is a stipulation so big that it will main event the show.

The other two matches will heavily feature crowd participation. The audience will randomly choose who teams with who in Match #1. For Match #2 Isami Kodaka and Masato Kamino will only be allowed to use moves pulled out of a box by members of the audience.

Tetsuo Usui is a new trainee for BASARA. Can’t find any details about him yet.

DDT “D-OU GRAND PRIX 2020 THE FINAL!!”, 28/12/2019
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Kazusada Higuchi Return Match: Kazusada Higuchi Vs X
2. Saki Akai “Okibariyasu” 7 Match Series – 2nd Match: Sakura Hirota Vs Saki Akai
3. Toshiwasure! Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Super Sasadango Machine
4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – Final: Winner Of A Block vs Winner Of B Block

One of the upsets of the year happened when Super Sasadango Machine pinned Shinya Aoki last weekend. Even Sasadango has been struggling to believe it was a deserved victory. He does comedy so much that he can’t tell if he has some legitimate wrestling ability anymore. To find out if Sasadango actually has skill in the ring he will face Aoki in a singles match. If he hits the Lehmann Shock three times in a row again then nobody can question the result.

DDT “NEW YEAR SPECIAL GIFT! ALL SEATS 2,000 YEN BOX OFFICE!! 2020”, 03/01/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. New Year! Special 3 Way Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs Super Sasadango Machine

DDT kicks off the 2020 schedule with three of their classic wrestlers facing off against each other.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’20”, 04/01/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. International Princess Title: Maki Itoh (c) Vs Hikari Noa
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita

Hikari Noa convinced Maki Itoh to give her an International Princess Title shot. She wants to win the title and defend it against Natsumi Maki when she returns from injury. Maybe it’s out of jealousy or maybe it is out of respect but Itoh accepted the challenge and wants it at the big 4th January show at Korakuen Hall.

DDT “WRESTLE SHIOKONBU! 2020”, 12/01/2020
Osaka City Suminoe Maikon Hall

1. DDT Extreme Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs X

There will be no more title matches in DDT until January. I bet the D-Ou Grand Prix group stage will determine some challengers for HARASHIMA.

DDT “WRESTLE TOROROKOBU! 2020”, 13/01/2020
Osaka City Suminoe Maikon Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino (c) Vs X, X & X

ALL OUT’s position in DDT has been weakened now that Konosuke Takeshita is no longer the KO-D Openweight Champion. An attempt from Yuki Iino to win the belt failed and Shunma Katsumata hasn’t been able to win the KO-D Tag Team Titles whenever he had the chance to. All they have to fight for at the moment is the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.

DDT “SWEET DREAMS! 2020”, 26/01/2020
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs X

It’s possible that the D-Ou winner could challenge HARASHIMA here but that is not a guarantee.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “FALL TOUR ’19 ~BEST REGARDS~”, 23/11/2019
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
240 Fans

1. Mizuki, Yuki Aino & Mirai Maiumi defeated Yuna Manase, Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu when Aino pinned Kiryu with the Side Suplex (11:02).
2. 1 Vs 2 Handicap Match: Miyu Yamashita defeated Haruna Neko & Pom Harajuku when Yamashita pinned Neko with the Attitude Adjustment (6:48).
3. Misao defeated Suzume with the Libera Me (6:21).
4. Hikari Noa & Mina Shirakawa defeated Maki Itoh & Raku when Noa pinned Raku with the Uranage (11:47).
5. Sakisama Vs Rika Tatsumi ended in a No Contest when Misao interfered (10:23).
6. Yuka Sakazaki & Shoko Nakajima defeated Miu Watanabe & Nodaka Tenma when Nakajima pinned Tenma after the Malmö Comians (12:06).

Shoko Nakajima returns from Mexico full of confidence. Her first move back in Japan was pulling off a successful Miraclians reunion with Yuka Sakazaki. The two used their Malmö Comians double team move to get the win. Nakajima wants to make full use out of what she learned in Mexico for Tokyo Joshi Pro. Also she hated the toilets in Mexico.

The match between Sakisama and Rika Tatsumi went awry when Tatsumi missed a Hip Attack and hit the referee by mistake. Misao entered the ring to help Sakisama but her Jumping Knee Attack missed Tatsumi and hit Sakisama instead. Misao then attacked Tatsumi but Tatsumi held onto her. When the referee got back up and tried to separate them he was pushed away. He then called off the match. Sakisama is now sick of having to deal with Misao’s problem with Tatsumi. She stormed out of the ring, leaving Misao behind. Embarrassed by what happened, Misao challenged Tatsumi to a singles match. Tatsumi accepted but wants the match to be held on 30th November. Tatsumi told everyone this is her last chance to bring Hyper Misao back.

Hikari Noa challenged Maki Itoh for the International Princess Title. Itoh told her they had a match over a month ago and Itoh beat her then. Noa then said she originally wanted to challenge Natsumi Maki when she became the first champion but wasn’t confident enough at the time. Now she has changed and her goal is to win the title and defend it against Maki when she returns from injury. Her story convinced Itoh to change her mind and accept the challenge. She wants the match to be held at a “sunny stage” so it will be at Korakuen Hall on 4th January!

Astronauts Showdown! Bookstore Pro Wrestling, Delayed Young Drama Cup Final

November 19, 2019

BASARA “BASARA 112 ~BANQUET~”, 26/11/2019
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Daiki Shimomura Vs Ikuto Hidaka
2. Ryuichi Sekine, Minoru Fujita & Gouma Ryu Vs Ryota Nakatsu, Daichi Kazato & Masato Kamino
3. Yasu Urano & Takato Nakano Vs Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizawa
4. Saikyo Tag League 2019 ~ Astronauts Showdown!: Fuminori Abe Vs Takuya Nomura
5. Masahiro Takanashi & Isami Kodaka Vs Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga
6. IRON FIST TAG Titles: FUMA & Yusuke Kubo (c) Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & SAGAT

The Union MAX Champion and his next challenger are teaming up for a match. But why? It’s all Isami Kodaka’s idea and is based on his history with Masahiro Takanashi. When Kodaka was the KO-D Openweight Champion in 2016, Takanashi was one of his challengers. The two teamed together before their title match. Kodaka remembers how tense it was as a champion to team with his challenger. He wants Takanashi to experience the same feeling. He has brought in what he thinks is the best team they should fight, the Speed Of Sounds!

Over in Big Japan this year’s Saikyo Tag League has been going on. Fuminori Abe entered the tournament with Takuya Nomura. The two regularly team together in BJW as Astronauts. Sadly the team only scored 6 points in their group and could not qualify for the semi-finals. So while the final rounds of the tournament is happening in Korakuen Hall, Abe and Nomura will instead be at BASARA wrestling each other.

2. 4 Way Tag Match: Akito & Shunma Katsumata Vs Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie Vs Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura Vs Yukio Sakaguchi & Yukio Naya
3. After Ultimate Party 2019 Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Jiro Kuroshio Vs Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita
4. Saki Akai “Okibariyasu” 7 Match Series – 1st Match: Saki Akai Vs Tsukasa Fujimoto
5. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Time Difference Battle Royal: Kazuki Hirata (c) Vs Michiaki Nakano Vs Toru Owashi Vs Makoto Oishi Vs Mizuki Watase Vs Asuka Vs Hiroshi Yamato
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao (c) Vs Masahiro Takanashi & Chris Brookes
7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Yuki Iino

Yuki Iino has been bench pressing 200kg as part of his training for the main event. He thought the public contract signing was a public workout so HARASHIMA was there to see his lift. The downside for this kind of training is Iino risks re-injuring his elbow before the show. He swears it is in perfect condition.

Michiaki Nakano from Souken Holdings had a sparring session with Keigo Nakamura but he got beaten pretty easily. At least the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is now part of the Battle Royal he is entering.

Saki Akai has said the reason she is doing a 7 match series is to show her guest opponents how interesting wrestling in DDT can be. Tsukasa Fujimoto is no stranger to DDT so she is going into the match wanting to see if Akai is more than just a gorgeous looking pro wrestler. She is curious to see how Akai wrestles against her because Akai has spent almost her entire wrestling career in a company for male wrestlers.

GANBARE☆WRESTLING “WHITE BREATH 2019”, 22/12/2019

1. GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Kenichiro Arai, Masked Mystery & Shota (c) Vs Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari & Miss Mongol
2. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title – Delayed Young Drama Cup Final: Keisuke Ishii (c) Vs Kazuki Hirata

Kazuki Hirata isn’t leaving Ganbare☆Wrestling just yet. He has unfinished business with Keisuke Ishii. A decade ago the generation that Hirata and Ishii belong to had their own rookies tournament called the Young Drama Cup. It only lasted two years. Ishii won the first one in 2009 and reached the final of the second one in 2010. Hirata entered the 2010 tournament but finished last with only a single victory. A lot has changed since then but the history of that tournament now surrounds the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title match.

1. Yuki Aino defeated Suzume with the Full Nelson Of Love And Fire (6:06).
2. Hikari Noa defeated Haruna Neko with the Uranage (5:49).
3. 3 Way Match: Nodoka Tenma defeated Pom Harajuku and Mahiro Kiryu when Tenma pinned Harajuku with the Killswitch (8:28).

5. Sakisama & Misao defeated Rika Tatsumi & Raku when Misao pinned Raku with the Vanitas (11:39).
6. Nagoya Special Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki defeated Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa when Mizuki pinned Shirakawa with the Cutie Special (11:46).
7. International Princess Title: Maki Itoh (c) defeated Nightshade with the Flying Big Head (10:47).
*V1 for Maki Itoh.

Maki Itoh is now the first champion to successfully defend the International Princess Title! She was able to kick out of Nightshade’s Neck Hanging Bomb. Nightshade went high risk with a Diving Senton but Itoh rolled out of the way. She then removed the ribbon from her pigtails before trading strikes with Nightshade. Itoh got the upper hand by using Headbutts and a DDT. She then hit the Flying Big Head from a long distance to get the win. Itoh told Nightshade she will never forget her because she took Itoh’s first defence virginity! They locked their little fingers together as thanks. Afterwards Itoh said she will be ready when Tokyo Joshi Pro returns to New York next April… She got New York mixed up with Tampa.

Operation Bring Back Hyper Misao took the next step today as Rika Tatsumi & Raku held a protest before their match with NEO Biishiki-gun! In scenes mirroring a stunt pulled by Hyper Misao last year, Tatsumi launched the National Come Back Home Hyper Misao Federation! Tatsumi & Raku brought out signs and protest gear including the style of cloak that Hyper Misao used to wear. Misao didn’t care and she attacked Tatsumi with a cane before pinning Raku with the Vanitas. Sakisama challenged Tatsumi to a match on 23rd November.

Yuki Aino’s Camel Clutch style Full Nelson now has a name. It is the Full Nelson Of Love And Fire!

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao (c) Vs Masahiro Takanashi & Chris Brookes
7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Yuki Iino

Yuki Iino won last weekend’s Gauntlet match to get the KO-D Openweight Title shot.

Jiro Kuroshio’s dad requested that Jiro and Konosuke Takeshita team together for Jiro’s final match in DDT. Takeshita agreed to it as long as Antonio Honda could be one of their opponents. Honda accepted the offer because he already has a tag team with Miyu Yamashita.

Honda was supposed to be in Match #3 but he pulled out to do the Kuroshio match. Danshoku Dieno takes his place as Super Sasadango Machine’s tag partner.

There is a problem with the Battle Royal. The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title was supposed to be defended in it for the sake of Souken’s Michiaki Nakano. However Dieno is now the champion and he is booked on the match afterwards. So what does Nakano have to fight for?

Iwate’s own Mirai Maiumi wrestled in the Tohoku region for the first time. She even got the win for her team. Maki Itoh encouraged her not to be act so humble and gave her the microphone. After the main event, Miyu Yamashita said she wants to light up Yuka Sakazaki as they prepare for the Princess Of Princess Title match on 4th January. This is because Sakazaki didn’t want her first title defence to be against her. Yamashita hopes Sakazaki will get just as motivated as she is for their match.

The debuting Nightshade showed her power by using Spears, Splashes, Lariats and her Neck Hanging Bomb finisher to win her tag match. She told Maki Itoh she is ready for their International Princess Title match next week. Itoh gave her the middle finger and the two told each other to “walk away.”

Losing the Princess Tag Team Titles has left Misao feeling despondent. She was missing during NEO Biishiki-gun’s entrance. Sakisama didn’t notice she was by herself until she got into the ring. When she figured it out she went back and dragged Misao out. Misao was put into an ever worse state when Mahiro Kiryu loudly reminded her she is no longer a champion. Kiryu held Misao in place while Yuna Manase grabbed Sakisama’s rose. Manase swung the rose at Misao but Sakisama jumped in and took the blow for her. That snapped Misao out of her rut and she rallied the team to victory. Sakisama was telling Misao how wonderful it was to see her recover when Rika Tatsumi entered the ring. She asked Misao if her defeat at Sumo Hall means that Hyper Misao can come back? She requested a hug but Misao left the ring with Sakisama instead. Tatsumi isn’t upset about it. She knows that Hyper Misao will come back some day.

Hear the drums? That’s the sound of Thunder Rosa returning to Tokyo Joshi Pro at the 4th January show!
