4. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: HARUKAZE Vs YuuRI
5. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: Moeka Haruhi Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa
6. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: Yuna Manase Vs Echika Miyabi

It’s time for Ganbare☆Joshi to finally do those big series of singles matches that shows are built around sometimes. Most of the division are taking on each other but Yuna Manase is getting a brand new opponent making her Ganbare☆Pro debut. Echika Miyabi is a trans joshi wrestler who made her pro wrestling debut with P.P.P. Tokyo in September. Miyabi is 21 years old, 178cm tall and weighs 75kg. She had a background in baseball and judo before she transitioned during her college years. She worked at a muscle girls themed bar where she was introduced to pro wrestling by her workmate, Chanyota and began training with her.

It will be a few weeks until the next Spirit Of Ganbare Title defence so until then Hartley Jackson and Mizuki Watase will have plenty of time to prepare for it. Former champion Tatsuhito Takaiwa is coming back to give Watase some help in his preparation. Jackson will be teaming with Seiya Morohashi for this match.

Kouki Iwasaki’s final match in Ganpro will be against Keisuke Ishii but before that happens, he wants to team with him one last time. Their friendship will be put to the test against Ganpro’s original best buddies, Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari.

DDT “UTAN FESTA 2022”, 27/11/2022
Tokyo JR Omori Station East Exit Square

1. World Omori Title: Chikara (c) Vs Soma Takao

2018 was the last time the World Omori Title was defended outside the JR Omori Station. It’s been years since DDT held a show there but they are finally going back. It was determined four years ago that Chikara would defend the title against Masahiro Takanashi next but Takanashi will be busy wrestling in Singapore. So instead Soma Takao has been chosen to challenge for the belt even though he does not want to. The next No. 1 Contender for the following year’s event is usually determined on this show too.

3. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – B Block: Chris Brookes (2) defeated KANON (2) with the House Piano Death (11:30).
4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: Joey Janela (4) defeated Tetsuya Endo (3) with a Cradle (13:47).
5. Jun Akiyama, HARASHIMA, Soma Takao & Yukio Naya defeated MAO, Shunma Katsumata, Toi Kojima & Takeshi Masada when Naya pinned Masada with the Choke Slam (11:18).
6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – A Block: Yuki Ueno (4) defeated RSP (4) with a Rolling Guillotine Ace Crusher (12:29).
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – B Block: Kazusada Higuchi (3) Vs Yuji Hino (5) ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).

A Block

1. Yuki Ueno (4)
-. RSP (4)
-. Joey Janela (4)
4. Tetsuya Endo (3)
5. Daisuke Sasaki (1)
6. Naomi Yoshimura (0)

B Block

1. Yuji Hino (5)
2. Kazusada Higuchi (3)
3. Yukio Naya (2)
-. Chris Brookes (2)
-. KANON (2)
-. MAO (2)

The second half of today’s Yokohama doubleheader ended with Kazusada Higuchi and Yuji Hino fighting each other to a 30 minute draw. A lot of it was built around Chop battles between the two inside and outside the ring. Shukan Puroresu reported 182 Chops were thrown in total (Higuchi threw 100 and Hino threw 82)! Higuchi used the Brain Claw as a counter to the Fuckin’ BOMB but Hino applied his own Brain Claw to Higuchi in response. Hino’s claw looked to be the stronger version against Higuchi’s but time ran out before anything could be determined. Hino remains undefeated and in first place. He compares Higuchi’s strength to those of Yuji Okabayashi and Daisuke Sekimoto. However he thinks Higuchi still has a long way to go and should focus on making his body bigger. Higuchi admits he probably put too much focus on the Chop battle because it was too much fun.

Yuki Ueno pulled out a new finisher to give RSP his first loss in DDT. The WR was ineffective against RSP due to the weight difference between the two. So Ueno used a move that for the moment is called the Rolling Guillotine Ace Crusher. It looks like a more flippy version of the Overdrive/Play Of The Day. Ueno said no matter how much damage he takes, it’s all about getting those two points at the end. He is the one who enjoys DDT the most and wants to make it to the final instead of anybody big or scary like RSP. He has a big match coming up next in the block against Naomi Yoshimura. RSP said if he had to lose to anyone, he is honored it was from Ueno because he is one of the best. He also made comments about Joey Janela, reminding “The Bad Boy” that boys do not become kings, grown men do.

Speaking of Janela, he lived up to his promise to score an upset win over Tetsuya Endo! The result almost did not happen that way when Endo blocked a Superplex and instead gave Janela an Avalanche Canadian Destroyer. Janela then kicked out of the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb so Endo went for the Burning Star Press. It was blocked by Janela’s knees and Endo was then rolled over into a Cradle for the surprise result. Janela is still fired up over losing his first match in the tournament and now has Daisuke Sasaki next on the schedule. He now promises to be a bloodthirsty wolf in Osaka and give everyone there a festival of blood! Endo still isn’t sure if his ankle is at 100% but he does not blame today’s loss on that because he was able to do the Sasuke Special. He warns Janela that the DDT Extreme Title is still in his sight even though he lost today.

KANON is the first wrestler to be mathematically eliminated from reaching the final. His fourth match out of five in the block was a defeat to Chris Brookes. The Cobra Twist that KANON relies so much on was skillyfully countered by Brookes into an Octopus Stretch. From there the move was turned into the House Piano Death and KANON had no choice but to give up. Brookes thinks he had the advantage because he only had one tournament match today while KANON had two. But he also thinks KANON does so many unnecessary things to try and throw his opponent off their game. That doesn’t work on Brookes because his soul is already dead. KANON was angry backstage and broke down into tears because he cannot fulfill his promise to meet with Sasaki in the final. The only thing that can cheer him up is if he kills Yukio Naya in his last group match!

Yukio Sakaguchi decided to produce a match without putting himself in it. So since he was absent, Kazuki Hirata figured he would make a good replacement and came out with Eruption acting and looking just like Sakaguchi! He and Hideki Okatani spent the match fighting with Pokotan while Gota Ihashi creeped out Saki Akai with his lust for her. Hirata knocked off Pokotan’s head, revealing it was Sakaguchi in the mascot costume all along! Hirata freaked out until he was caught by Eruption so Sakaguchi could Penalty Kick him. Sakaguchi then finished Hirata off with a Diving Body Press. Ihashi tried to pose with Eruption after the match but Sakaguchi threw Pokotan’s head at him.

DDT will be returning to the JR Omori Station in Tokyo on 27th November for their first outdoor show at the location in four years. The annual show always featured a defence of the World Omori Title which was last held by Chikara. Four years ago Masahiro Takanashi became the No. 1 Contender for the belt but this year he will be in Singapore while the show takes place. Soma Takao has been nominated as the next contender because of his reputation as the strongest drinker in Ota Ward. Takao does not want to be in the match but he is being forced to take part.

6. Danshoku Dieno, Kazusada Higuchi & Keisuke Ishii defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Yuki Iino when Dieno pinned Iino with the Danshoku Driver (17:47).

Hisaya Imabayashi asked the referee and all of the wrestlers in the main event to prevent Danshoku Dieno from hunting for men in the audience. Yukinori Matsui immediately began counting out Dieno as he made his entrance to get him into the ring ASAP while the wrestlers tried to block his more lewd wrestling moves during the match. Dieno understood there were rules put in place to keep him under control today but he has his own rules which he must abide with. Kazusada Higuchi ended up agreeing with Dieno and actively helped him use his moveset, even if it meant pushing their other partner Keisuke Ishii’s face into Dieno’s bare backside. After the match Dieno told the audience that rules are definitely important in DDT but they change on a daily basis. He promoted DDT’s biggest show of the year happening next Sunday and if they want to see more of Dieno’s extraordinary life then they should come down to Sumo Hall.

Chikara defeated Antonio Honda to clear his first defence of the World Omori Title. His next challenger in 2019 will be against Masahiro Takanashi, the winner of the Battle Royal earlier in the show. Takanashi appeared after the match as part of a group of wrestlers carrying Jason Kincaid down to the ring. Takanashi congratulated Chikara but called his match bad. It took 4 years for Takanashi to finally get this title shot so he will not waste his chance! He only has one shot but that’s all he needs. Chikara said he once received guidance from Kazushi Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata at the Laughter7 gym in Omori. Because of that he cannot be defeated in this town!

Takanashi was able to win the Battle Royal thanks to some help. Jun Kasai knocked him out of the ring but Takanashi landed on KUDO outside, avoiding the ground because KUDO caught him. Takanashi got back into the ring and eliminated Kasai to win.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Yuki Ueno and Chinsuke Nakamura hosted a wrestling costume contest during intermission. The contestants dressed up as Keiji Muto, HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii, Gabaiji-chan, the Brahman Brothers, Kazuki Hirata, Kento Miyahara and there was one who just wore a generic yellow mask. The Miyahara impersonator was voted MVP and the female Brahamn Brothers also won an award.

Rainy weather didn’t dampen the spirits of DDT for their annual outdoor show at the Tokyo JR Omori Station. Also included in the show was the annual World Omori Title defence. Chikara defeated the defending champion Makoto Oishi to win his first ever singles title. Earlier in the show Antonio Honda won the Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 Contender for next year’s title defence. Honda told everyone that when Star Wars came out in 1977 it was the No. 1 movie at the US box office. However the movie that came in 2nd place was Trans Am 7000 (the Japanese title for Smokey And The Bandit). Honda thinks that is the real best movie of all time and he will beat Chikara for the title next year to get revenge for Burt Reynolds!

Michael Nakazawa showed up during the Battle Royal wanting to cancel it because Danshoku Dino had the back of his tights pulled down for all of the train station to see. His attempts were thwarted and his head was shoved into Dino’s backside. Nakazawa stuck around to judge a wrestling costume contest during intermission.

6. UTAN Festa 2016 Special 6-Man Tag Team Match: HARASHIMA, Yoshihiro Takayama & Akito defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Antonio Honda & Mike Bailey when HARASHIMA pinned Honda with the Somato (15:20).

Antonio Honda is still taking time out during his matches to talk about foxes. This time it was done to distract his opponents so Konosuke Takeshita & Mike Bailey could attack when their guards dropped. The three of them wound up to do a Triple Bionic Elbow to HARASHIMA but hey were all cut off. HARASHIMA then led his team through a train attack on Honda ending with the match winning Somato. HARASHIMA said DDT will continue doing the Utan shows in Tokyo JR Omori Station for another 10, 20 and 30 years!

Makoto Oishi was able to beat Seiya Morohashi when Morohashi missed a Diving Headbutt. That gave Oishi the opening to do the Miracle Ecstasy and also a Frog Splash. Oishi called out the Battle Royal winner Chikara to make next year’s World Omori Title match official.

A wrestler impersonation contest was held during the show. Some of the contestants imitated wrestlers like Keiji Muto and Kazuchika Okada. There was even a woman who imitated Jiro Kuroshio. Chinsuke Nakamura made an entrance wearing a home made NXT Title belt. Munenori Sawa then made a surprise appearance to do a Pro Wres LOVE pose. The judges Tomomitsu Matsunaga and Sanshiro Takagi picked Chinsuke and Sawa as the winners.

4. Omori World Title: Makoto Oishi defeated Gurukin Mask (c) with the Jikiden Tornado Clutch (9:55).

5. HARASHIMA, Akito & Yasu Urano defeated Yukio Sakaguchi, Masa Takanashi & Kota Umeda when HARASHIMA pinned Umeda with the Somato (12:39).

Well, Ken Ohka pulled it off. He announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi will return to DDT for the #OhkaEmpire show on 28th November to face HARASHIMA for the first time since “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2015”. The match will be HARASHIMA & Ohka Vs Tanahashi & Yohei Komatsu. HARASHIMA thanked Ohka, Danshoki Dino & Muscle Sakai for negotiating the match. He also thanked Tanahashi and New Japan for accepting the offer. He promises to do his best. Meanwhile Ohka’s message for Tanahashi is HARASHIMA will win, win, win!

The Omori World Title changed hands in the semi-main event. Makoto Oishi had some help from Danshoku Dino’s rear end to defeat Gurukin Mask. After the match the Rocky theme played over the speakers and Seiya Morohashi was carried to ringside by Kazusada Higuchi, Ryota Nakatsu and Tetsuya Endo. Morohashi said he will win the title but Oishi is determined to keep the title until the end of his career.

Morohashi last eliminated Dino to win the Battle Royal. He pinned Dino with a Diving Headbutt to the crotch. He will face Oishi for the Omori World Title on next year’s JR Omori Station show.

Sanshiro Takagi accidentally took a powerful Chop from Chikara that led to him getting pinned by Hiroshi Fukuda. Takagi stays as King Of Dark Champion because of this.
