1. Shigehiro Irie, Jason Kincaid & Mizuki Watase defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Tanomusaku Toba & Gota Ihashi when Irie pinned Ihashi with the Beast Bomber (9:35).
2. Akito & Keisuke Ishii defeated Tetsuya Endo & Nobuhiro Takanashi when Ishii submitted Takanashi with a Body Strangle Reverse Full Nelson (9:05).
3. Yukio Sakaguchi, Masahiro Takanashi & Saki Akai defeated Sanshiro Takagi, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Maki Ito when Takanashi pinned Matsunaga with a School Boy (8:10).
4. Please Spend A Wonderful Time With Delicious Meals And Gorgeous Dance: Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata defeated Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi when Owashi pinned Oishi with La Magistral Cradle (11:51).
5. Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Mad Paulie defeated Mike Bailey, Ethan Page & Antonio Honda when Sasaki submitted Honda with La Mistica Cross Facelock (14:34).
6. DISASTER BOX Vs ALL OUT!: HARASHIMA & Yuki Ueno defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata when HARASHIMA pinned Katsumata with the Somato (14:46).

After the main event Nobuhiro Shimatani entered the ring when HARASHIMA finished his show closing speech. Shimatani started dancing while singing the words “Machida Go” until Kazuki Hirata gave him an Ace Crusher. Hirata then called for “TOKYO GO!” to be played and he danced to that.

The show began with Hisaya Imabayashi and the hotel’s Director General of the Sales Division Miku Tagawa welcoming the audience to the show. Danshoku Dieno got into the ring and he gave Tagawa a Lip Lock, knocking him out. Imabayashi was upset that Dieno would do that to their host. Dieno then made a bet. If his team wins then he and Tagawa will spend the night together in the hotel suite. When the match happened, Dieno’s team lost when Makoto Oishi was pinned by Toru Owashi. What Owashi didn’t realise was that he was now going to spend the night with Tagawa in his suite! Tagawa entered the ring, shared a kiss with Owashi and they happily left the ring together.

Sanshiro Takagi wanted to finish his match as quickly as possible because the local train service was closing at 8pm due to the typhoon weather. He also introduced a new move called the Best Western Lariat where Takagi sprinted down from the entrance, climbed into the ring and continued sprinting until he could hit the Lariat. Unfortunately Tomomitsu Matsunaga took the Lariat when Masahiro Takanashi moved out of the way. Takagi did the Texas Longhorn pose after the move anyway.

Yesterday Keisuke Ishii announced that he will be transferring over to Ganbare☆Wrestling as a loan from DDT. He explained that he is right now in the best physical condition of his life and he doesn’t know how long it will last. Because of this, Ishii wants to wrestle in other groups so he can make the most of this time in his life. He will still be appearing for DDT but will do so as a Ganpro wrestler.

Shigehiro Irie wins his final match as a DDT contracted wrestler. Starting tomorrow he now becomes a freelancer. Irie is happy to end his run with Jason Kincaid and Mizuki Watase teaming with him. Watase promised Irie to become stronger while he is gone. Kincaid appreciates getting to meet Japanese wrestling fans thanks to Irie.

4. Roar of POWER OF DREAM: Shuichiro Katsumura defeated Kouki Iwasaki by TKO with the Ninja Choke (15:07).
5. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Keisuke Ishii (c) defeated Yumehito Imanari with the Throwaway Tiger Suplex (16:04).
*V5 for Keisuke Ishii.

Keisuke Ishii called Yumehito Imanari a suitable challenger and someone he hopes to wrestle again someday. But for now Ishii is looking for his next opponent to defend the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title against. Ishii wants the new and improved Ken Ohka! There’s a reason for this. Ishii wants to help Ganbare☆Wrestling compete against BASARA and he is offering to side with them! Ohka accepted his offer and said he’s been working hard at changing himself for the last month. He told Imanari that the Imanari Revolution is not over yet. It is now united with Ohka as they go towards Korakeun Hall this December! It’s not just the two of them either. The rest of the Ganpro roster joined them in the ring to rally together.

It’s been a big couple of weeks for Kouki Iwasaki. After joining Ganpro he also went over to Real Japan and won the UWA Asia Pacific Heavyweight Title from Rey Angel. Now today he was taking on Shuichiro Katsumura. Although he lost by ref stoppage, Iwasaki seems to have won Katsumura’s respect. Katsumura asked Iwasaki to team up together in other places to show more people the strength of Ganpro. He offered a handshake but Iwasaki kicked it away and left the ring.

The new and improved Ken Ohka now wears red trunks and kneepads. His return to Ganpro was a successful one, defeating Nobuhiro Tsurumaki with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. His victory was cut short when Ryuichi Sekine from BASARA entered the ring. He had a monkey tail attached to him and introduced himself as a member of a unit called Sento Minzoku. He congratulated Ohka but when they shook hands he attacked Ohka with the Kamikaze! Sekine challenged Ohka to a Ganpro Vs Sento Minzoku match at the 11th October Ganpro show in Shin-Kiba.

1. Hikari defeated Raku with the Grounded Cobra Twist (5:24).
2. 3 Way Match: Yuu defeated Yuna Manase and Yuki Kamifuku when Yuu submitted Kamifuku with the Katahajime (9:58).
3. Reika Saiki & Azusa Takigawa defeated Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao when Takigawa pinned Misao with the Wedding Elbow (14:42).
4. Miyu Yamashita defeated Hinano with the Attitude Adjustment (8:22).
5. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Maki Itoh defeated Nodoka Tenma, Yuki Aino & Miu when Sakazaki pinned Miu with the Magical Magical Girl Splash (14:21).

Yuka Sakazaki said she is looking forward to defending the TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles in two weeks time. She will not lose the titles to anybody be they sisters, family, lesbians or whatever. Yuki Aino knows that it is in the ring where she and Nodoka Tenma can best demonstrate their power together. Their future will be stronger when they challenge for the titles in Kitazawa. Before then is Tokyo Joshi Pro’s return to Shibuya DESEO. Mizuki hopes to sing “Setsunairo” with Maki Itoh for the first time in a while there.

Hinano started crying when Miyu Yamashita started kicking her. She wouldn’t stop until Yamashita apologised but it was all a trap for Hinano to attack when her guard was down. Hinano got some more offence in but as soon as Yamashita regained control she would go on to win the match. Backstage, Hinano said she felt the difference in her physical fitness from the last time she wrestled Yamashita. She still feels scared about taking Yamashita’s kicks but she’d rather be scared now rather than later.

Hyper Misao & Shoko Nakajima are campaigning against Azusa Takigawa’s planned graduation from Tokyo Joshi. They even set up a protest before their match that Reika Saiki couldn’t resist to join in. Takigawa got angry when they shouted about her having no boyfriend but they continued to protest while the match went on. Misao apparantly had a change of heart and offered to lose the match to Takigawa’s top rope Wedding Elbow. However Misao broke her promise by kicking out of it. Nakajima, Saiki and Takigawa all joined forces by giving Misao the 619, a Dropkick and then the Wedding Elbow to give Takigawa the victory. Both Takigawa and Misao made up after the match with a fist bump.

Yuki Kamifuku brought along the issue of FRIDAY magazine she recently posed for to proudly show off to her opponents. Yuna Manase insulted Kamifuku by asking if her photos were printed in black and white. Yuu had enough of their fighting and got involved to get the match back in track. They asked her who had the better body but Yuu’s only response was “I don’t know”. She then beat the both of them.

2. Keisuke Ishii & Ethan Page defeated Shigehiro Irie & Jason Kincaid when Page pinned Kincaid with the Avalanche Hold (7:19).
3. Yuna Manase defeated Maki Itoh with a Neck Screw Hold (5:53).
4. HARASHIMA, Daichi Hashimoto & Yuki Ueno defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Antonio Honda & Keisuke Okuda when HARASHIMA pinned Honda with the Somato (10:05).
5. Opening War! ALL OUT Vs STRONG HEARTS!!: CIMA, T-Hawk, El Lindaman & Duan Yingnan defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino when T-Hawk pinned Katsumata with the Night Ride (15:26).
6. Shibuya Stream Hall Opening Memorial! Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo defeated Danshoku Dieno, Jun Kasai & Makoto Oishi when Sasaki submitted Oishi with the Cross Facelock (13:53).

The first preview battle between Danshoku Dieno and Daisuke Sasaki saw DAMNATION go on top when Sasaki submitted Dieno’s buddy Makoto Oishi. Due to the earlier appearance of STRONG HEARTS on the show, Oishi wanted his team to show everybody what real “STRONG HEARTS” look like. It involved Dieno & Oishi positioning themselves against the turnbuckles with the back of their shorts pulled down. Jun Kasai was supposed to throw his opponents into them but he got thrown headfirst instead. Another key moment of the match saw Sasaki resisting Dieno’s Crotch Grab. However Dieno’s Lip Lock was still effective. Tetsuya Endo wiped out Dieno & Kasai with the Sasuke Special. Sasaki then won the match by trapping Oishi in the Cross Facelock. Sasaki called Dieno a relic of the past and the reason Sasaki was succesful today is because Dieno couldn’t make him erect with his moves. Dieno couldn’t believe it and swore he will get Sasaki erect the next time they fight. Dieno will gradually get Sasaki to a 10 degree angle, then a 20 degree angle and finally a 30 degree angle just like Oishi! According to Dieno, Oishi is always at 30 degrees.

The first meeting between ALL OUT and STRONG HEARTS was a full fledged 4 Vs 4 Tag Match that ended in defeat for the home team. T-Hawk got the win by pinning Shunma Katsumata with the Night Ride. Konosuke Takeshita admitted that STRONG HEARTS brought the heat today and he will use the loss as motivation when he faces CIMA at Sumo Hall. Meanwhile Yuki Iino took offence at El Lindaman sneaking in a low blow by kicking the rope while Iino was climbing into the ring. Lindaman denied any foul play and blamed Iino for getting in the way of the rope like an idiot. T-Hawk asked ALL OUT to bring more heat for their matches in October. Akito marked T-Hawk as his target for the Sumo Hall 6-Man Tag. Maybe under other circumstances they could have gotten along because they have similar hairstyles. Too bad, Akito’s going to hunt him down instead.

HARASHIMA said he had a good time teaming with Daichi Hashimoto today. He thinks it was a waste that they were only teaming for one match. They also enjoyed laughing at Antonio Honda’s jokes during the match so they got to enjoy themselves while they stood on the apron waiting to tag in. Win or lose, Honda will continue to tell vulgar jokes whenever he can.

Maki Itoh is still leading the Dramatic General Election by a wide margin but inside the ring she still can’t get a win. This week she lost to Yuna Manase when she missed the Flying Big Head and got pinned with a Neck Screw Hold. Itoh is feeling no pressure with leading the votes. If she can’t become the Atsuko Maeda of the idol world she can become the Atsuko Maeda of the wrestling world instead.

Nobody is more disappointed in MAO’s injury than Sanshiro Takagi. With his Sumo Hall opponent nowhere to be seen today, Takagi has nobody to take his frustrations out of. Gota Ihashi did his best to fill in for MAO. He wore MAO’s wrestling gear and tried to replicate his moveset to mixed results. Mike Bailey was left confused by the turn of events and tried to convince everyone that Ihashi wasn’t MAO. Even Bailey couldn’t resist stomping on Ihashi after Ihashi lost them the match. Takagi doesn’t care how hurt MAO is, he is only thinking about destroying him at Sumo Hall!

Kazuki Hirata and Nobuhiro Shimatani got into a Hirata GO! dance battle. Hirata got the better of Shimatani and climbed the turnbuckles to finish him off. That was when Toru Owashi tagged himself in and pinned Shimatani with La Magistral Cradle, leaving Hirata standing on the turnbuckles.

Mizuki Watase did well to avoid the Takatonic but Masahiro Takanashi was able to pin him with the Hangover!! with two minutes left on the match clock. The question that needs to be asked now is what should Watase do after the RENEGADES split up?

DDT was treated to a return appearance of Rintaro Oyaizu from The Bachelor Japan. One month ago Oyaizu was on Maji Manji and had his heart captured by Aja Kong. He was invited back by Makoto Oishi to solve a problem within The Compliance. Oishi wants Oyaizu to hold a dinner party where they teach Antonio Honda and Kazusada Higuchi how to be “mote mote”. In other words, how to become popular with the opposite sex. Oyaizu is mote mote. According to Oishi he is also mote mote and his recent marriage is proof of that. Oyaizu revealed he is already helping out a young DDT wrestler with this, Yuki Ueno! Honda & Higuchi were furious and things got heated until Hisaya Imabayashi stepped in. The solution is a 6-Man Tag between the Mote Mote Army and the Not Mote Army on 2nd October. Oishi, Ueno & a Mote Mystery Partner against Higuchi, Honda and a Not Mote Mystery Partner!

Shigehiro Irie To Go Freelance

September 25, 2018

A press conference was held by DDT today to announce that Shigehiro Irie will not be renewing his contract at the end of September. He will become a freelancer from October onward. Irie’s final match under contract will be on 30th September, however he does have dates with DDT booked for October including “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” on the 21st. Irie will be teaming with Keisuke Ishii on that show to take on HARASHIMA & Yukio Sakaguchi in a special tag match involving Irie’s friend and his two favorite opponents.

The decision to go freelance was considered by Irie for a while and he made his mind up after this past Saturday’s main event in Korakuen Hall. He had formed deep bonds with the wrestlers he met on his overseas excursions and he wants to discover more various experiences as a pro wrestler while his body is still moving. He wants to take on new hard challenges and not just the ones he can find abroad. He appreciates everything he learned in DDT and also from Sanshiro Takagi who he has known all the way back to his start in Dera Nagoya Pro Wrestling. Takagi notes that pro wrestling is rising all around the world not just in Japan and North America but Europe, South America and China too. He encourages Irie to succeed and become a big name overseas as a graduate from DDT. Takagi wants to give Irie the chance to grab that opportunity knowing that Irie has pride in his DDT origins. He is welcome to continue wrestling in DDT whenever the timing allows him to.

Irie’s resignation means the future of his RENEGADES unit will not last long. Irie’s focus on wrestling overseas means that RENEGADES will be no more with him no longer around. Irie apologises to Mizuki Watase and Jason Kincaid for the decision but says that the rest time before he goes will be short. Irie wants to see Watase in particular absorb more and more as a person, not just for DDT. He looks forward to seeing how Watase will turn into a winner without him.

Irie’s past criticisms of DDT is now behind him and he is leaving with good, if sometimes painful, memories of his time here. It was fun but he wants to do more than just have fun. He explained his fascination with wrestling abroad. Irie always saw wrestling presented on a bigger scale overseas, even bigger than he can imagine. He has a strong desire to experience more and more new things so that’s why he loves going to America to wrestle. His final words to the rest of the DDT roster is to have dreams in wrestling. He wants all of them to have a dream they can believe in and then push towards it. The press conference ended with Irie and Takagi shaking with their left hands, because the left hand is close to their hearts.

7. DISASTER BOX Vs ALL OUT!: HARASHIMA, Kazuki Hirata & Yuki Ueno defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Yuki Iino when Hirata pinned Iino with the Backward Miracle One Shot Cradle (17:33).

Toru Owashi wasn’t certain that Kazuki Hirata got the three count in the main event. HARASHIMA had to tell him when the referee counts to three, it is a three count. Yuki Ueno congratulated Owashi on doing his best as the sales manager for the show today. Hirata got to do his dance and thought the rest of DISASTER BOX joined in behind him. They instead sat down in the corner of the ring and watched him dance on his own.

While his friends congratulated him for his job today, Owashi admitted he is worried that the attendance for DDT’s Nagano shows has been gradually decreasing. He doesn’t know when DDT will return to Nagano but when they do he wants the fans to bring their neighbors, their grandparents and anyone else to the show with them.

Danshoku Dieno wanted to prepare himself for the possibility of fighting DAMNATION on his own so he changed his tag match into a 3 Vs 1 Handicap Match. Sanshiro TakagiSuper Sasadango Machine & Makoto Oishi used some DAMNATION moves on Dieno until Oishi had a change of heart and protected his friend from the attacks. Oishi would never abandon Dieno so the match was changed back to its original tag team bout. Takagi continued acting like a DAMNATION heel and ordered Sasadango to attack the other team with a chair. Sasadango couldn’t do that to his friends so he attacked Takagi instead! The match was changed back to a 3 Vs 1 Handicap but this time Dieno, Oishi & Sasadango was the team and Takagi was on his own. Dieno beat Takagi with the Danshoku Driver then sent a message to Daisuke Sasaki. Dieno said he will pull off the Sumo Hall main event that Sasaki will not. He told Sasaki to keep watching from the shadows.

Hyper Misao used an accidental unmasking to roll Maki Itoh into a School Boy and pin her with her feet on the ropes for leverage. As a form of apology, Misao gave Itoh her vote for the Dramatic General Election. Unfortunately Misao then found out that wrestlers cannot vote for other wrestlers in the contest so her voting ballot was confiscated. The merchandise Misao purchased to get the ballot still stands and she will not be given a refund.
