The show will be held at the newly opened Shibuya Stream Hall. The venue is part of a 35 storey, 180m high building next to the Shibuya River and near Shibuya Station. With the 2020 Olympics on the horizon, new venues are opening up in Japan and hopefully that means new places for the DDT family to go. The Kanda Myojin Hall opening near Akihabara in December will be one such venue for Tokyo Joshi Pro.

The STRONG HEARTS have invaded DDT! Some big matches between them and ALL OUT were booked for “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” but their first confrontation will be an 8-Man Tag Match this Tuesday.

Normally I would balk at the idea of Gota Ihashi replacing MAO but credit where it’s due, Ihashi is doing a great job getting into shape.

1. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino

According to Nodoka Tenma, she and Yuki Aino were always given identical gifts by their mother. Clothes, bags, food, everything. Tenma wants to continue this trend by getting identical championship belts for her and her sister. The TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles are just the kind of belts she is looking for. Aino admits that it is too soon for her to challenge for a championship but with her sister by her side she is determined to succeed.

8. KO-D Openweight Title: Danshoku Dieno (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki

Danshoku Dieno will achieve his dream of main eventing “RYOGOKU PETER PAN” and as the KO-D Openweight Champion to boot. A bitter and hateful Daisuke Sasaki stands opposite him. His fortunes turned around after he was dumped by Asuka (the WAVE one). By hating everything, Sasaki went on to win the King Of DDT tournament to get to this spot. Now all that’s left is for him to win the KO-D Title to bring DDT back under DAMNATION.

STRONG HEARTS came to DDT to challenge ALL OUT. Konosuke Takeshita turned the tables a bit by challenging the STRONG HEARTS leader CIMA to a singles match. DDT’s young supernova will go one on one with one of the most influential wrestlers on the Japanese scene for the last 20 years! Meanwhile the rest of ALL OUT face off against three members of STRONG HEARTS. T-Hawk & El Lindaman are well known from their Dragon Gate work. Tian Yunan is the wild card from the unit’s home promotion OWE. Yunan wrestled exclusively for OWE in China until this month when he made his Japan debut replacing an injured Gao Jingjia on a Wrestle-1 card.

The newest women’s wrestler to debut in DDT is Mina Shirakawa, a gravure idol and devoted wrestling fan who trained to become a pro wrestler in April. She had her first pro match in August as part of a Best Body Japan event that was also supported by DDT. Shirakawa teamed with Shoko Nakajima in a losing effort against Reika Saiki & model Hoshimi Muramatsu. Shirakawa has since traveled to Mexico to train and wrestle her second match as part of a lucha libre expo.

7a. Danshoku Dieno eliminated Shigehiro Irie with the Gaydo Clutch (16:09).
7b. Danshoku Dieno eliminated Meiko Satomura with the Danshoku Driver (20:01).
*Meiko Satomura fails in V1. Danshoku Dieno becomes the 67th KO-D Openweight Champion!

The bumpy road towards Sumo Hall took another crazy turn today when Danshoku Dieno reclaimed the KO-D Openweight Title! Dieno used all of his wits to pin both champion Meiko Satomura and enemy Shigehiro Irie in a Survival 3 Way Match to win the belt. Irie was eliminated first when Dieno stopped his Beast Bomber with the Lip Lock. That left Irie defenceless for Satomura to hit the Scorpio Rising. Dieno then rolled Irie over with the Gaydo Clutch to pin him for the three count. Satomura took control of the match until Dieno blocked the Scorpio Rising and hit his own Death Valley Bomb on the champion. From there the Danshoku Driver put Satomura down and out leading to the new champion crowned.

In all his honesty, Dieno never thought he could do it but now he gets to be in the “PETER PAN” main event for the first time in his career! But first he needed to settle his grudge with Irie. He knows that Irie was never the best with words but Dieno understands what Irie wanted ever since his return earlier this year. He knows Irie didn’t like what DDT has changed into and he fought to make his vision of DDT. Irie is a part of DDT and Dieno promises to carry Irie’s vision on his back as champion. Dieno is grateful for what Irie has done so rather than apologise, he wants to thank him instead. Dieno offered out a handshake. At first Irie refused but only because Dieno stuck out his right hand. Irie wanted to shake Dieno’s left hand because it is closer to his heart.

Dieno then called over to Satomura to bury the hatchet with her. He understands what Satomura was fighting for. The KO-D Title is not exclusive to men or women, it is indiscriminate. After today Satomura has a win over Dieno and Dieno has a win over Satomura. Now he wants to shake hands with the rival who he is tied with. Satomura shook Dieno’s left hand then shook hands with Irie as well. All of Dieno’s problems are over. Well, except for the “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” main event…

The Sumo Hall main event is now confirmed to be Danshoku Dieno Vs Daisuke Sasaki with the KO-D Title on the line. When Irie and Satomura left the ring, Sasaki entered to confront the new champion. This is what Sasaki hates about Dieno. He hates how Dieno unexpectedly achieved his dream of main eventing Sumo Hall. Sasaki hates people who talk about their dreams. He is also sick of Dieno being the symbol of DDT. At Sumo Hall, Sasaki wants to make Dieno cry instead. Dieno told Sasaki that the main event of Sumo Hall will exceed his imagination. So if Sasaki wants to take the title from Dieno and replace him as the symbol, he better be prepared!

Hardcore action was promised in the semi-main event. Kikutaro was ready for it because he had both Sabu and Jun Kasai on his team. All he asked was for ALL OUT to avoid touching the right side of his head because he legit just had ear surgery. Konosuke Takeshita chopped the ear and knocked Kikutaro out. Kikutaro had to be carried away from ringside but he eventually returned with his bandages wrapped around his mask. There were a lot of chairs used in the match thanks to Sabu’s valet Super Genie throwing them into the ring whenever Sabu requested one. Sabu put Takeshita through a table with a Top Rope Leg Drop and Kasai hit the Pearl Harbor Splash but Akito & Shunma Katsumata stopped the pin in time to continue the match. Kikutaro set Takeshita up for a Brainbuster but wasted time giving his usual match ending speech to the audience. Takeshita later put Kikutaro in position for the Deadlift German Suplex and he also wasted time speaking to the fans. Kikutaro rolled him over with a Samson Clutch for a nearfall. He then tried the Brainbuster but his back gave out. Takeshita was then able to hit the Deadlift German Suplex for the win.

With that match out of the way, the entire ALL OUT unit stood in the ring to discuss their current form. Yuki Iino says he is ALL OUT but hasn’t gotten used to teaming with the others yet. Takeshita said ALL OUT is now fully resurrected but they have no place on the “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” card with one month to go. If DDT isn’t going to give them a match then maybe they should go on the next episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” and do something about it. Takeshita was then cut off by the surprise appearance of the STRONG HEARTS! Out came CIMA, T-Hawk, El Lindaman & Duan Yingnan down to the ring. CIMA told Takeshita he watched the match he just had and felt there wasn’t enough fever in the ring. CIMA wants to know if Takeshita is still on a high level. Does he know what real pro wrestling is? The STRONG HEARTS took a midnight flight from Shanghai just to come here today and this is what they had to watch? Well CIMA has news for them. The STRONG HEARTS have their schedule free on 21st October, the same day DDT goes to Sumo Hall. What is ALL OUT going to do about it?

Takeshita sees where this is going. ALL OUT Vs STRONG HEARTS at Sumo Hall. A tag match would be fun but Takeshita wants something else. He wants to fight CIMA one on one! CIMA couldn’t believe the nerve of this kid calling him out. CIMA has been living in this ring for 21 years. Is Takeshita really prepared to wrestle him? We’ll find out because CIMA accepted the challenge! T-Hawk then took the microphone and demanded the remaining wrestlers in the two units face off in a 6-Man Tag Match. Three versus three is the perfect amount for him. Akito said there was no reason to refuse so that match is on too. Interim GM Tetsuya Koda announced both matches for 21st October in Sumo Hall. Takeshita then pointed out the next episode of Maji Manji is being held in Shibuya in two days time and he wants a special match there. El Lindaman suggested a full ALL OUT Vs STRONG HEARTS 8-Man Tag Match so that every DDT fan and STRONG HEARTS fan could enjoy it. That match was agreed to. Takeshita noticed how STRONG HEARTS are going around the Japanese wrestling scene doing whatever they want. When they come to DDT, ALL OUT will be there to face them!

The Moonlight Express were lulled into a false sense of security when The Brahman Brothers started off their match offering handshakes. The Brahmans then spat water at the Express and attacked them to start the match. Buckets of water were placed around ringside and the two teams threw the buckets at each other and the audience. Mainly the audience. The Brahmans did their bowling ball suitcase spot but Mike Bailey & MAO recovered to do the Skylab Hurricane on Brahman Kei. They attempted the Michinoku Tornado Driver but it was stopped when Brahman Shu blinded both of them with black ink mist. The Brahmans took out a stop sign and tried to hit MAO with it but Kei ended up hitting Shu. MAO then popped a balloon in front of Kei’s face. The balloon turned out to be filled with powder and it blinded Kei! MAO & Bailey climbed the same top rope and together jumped off in different directions. Bailey Moonsaulted outside onto Shu while MAO jumped into the ring to hit the Cannoball 450 on Kei, pinning him to earn a successful defence of the KO-D Tag Team Titles. After the match as the Brahmans were leaving they said they gained new memories today. They also called the Midnight Express crazy! That means a lot coming from them.

Super Sasadango Machine had to reveal a secret to explain why he was teaming with DISASTER BOX today. He lifted up his mask to reveal he is Muscle Sakai! Sakai was a member of the original DISASTER BOX back in 2006 so that’s why he was out here teaming with the modern version. The eliminations in the 5 Vs 5 match mostly consisted of ring outs. Soma Takao blinded HARASHIMA with red mist. That allowed DAMNATION to easily eliminate HARASHIMA and also Toru Owashi at the same time. Sasadango sacrificed himself to eliminate Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani with him when all three were Dropkicked off the ring apron. Kazuki Hirata then evened the teams down to two each when he snuck onto the apron and knocked Takao to the floor with a Sliding Kick. Tetsuya Endo put DAMNATION back in the lead by pinning Yuki Ueno with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb. Hirata surprised Endo by pinning him with the Miracle One Shot Cradle, bringing the match down to Hirata and Sasaki. Hirata did what he could to pin Sasaki including attempting the Mad Splash. Sasaki blocked the splash with his knees and put Hirata in the Cross Facelock to make him submit. Sasaki wins the match as the sole survivor for DAMNATION! Backstage Sasadango told DISASTER BOX he will continue to support them because they are no good at studying their opponents.

Ethan Page made a statement in his return to Japan by beating Kazusada Higuchi. The power versus power match ended when Page gave Higuchi an over shoulder Power Slam from the top rope for the pin.

Keisuke Okuda announced at the beginning of the show that he is now a a full time member of the DDT roster starting today. He had his excuses for being on the losing team against Shuten-dōji. He’s fine teaming with Tanomusaku Toba because he knows how good he is with gloves on. It was Yumehito Imanari that was the weak link according to Okuda. Looking ahead to his new status, Okuda wants to face Yukio Sakaguchi in more matches.

The Philosopher’s Stomp from Jason Kincaid followed by the Back Drop from Mizuki Watase gave RENEGADES the victory in the show opener.

The New Member Audition for Booing 2018 gave a spotlight to many low level pro wrestlers from across the independent wrestling scene. Sanshiro Takagi and Tomomitsu Matsunaga took part in the match both as participants and as judges. We had Movie Star using a rubber swimming ring to trap his opponents, Gundan Hitori walking around Korakuen singing into a Coke bottle, Monster Halloween carrying a chainsaw down to the ring and even a surprise appearance from Lingerie Muto. The final four were Takagi, Matsunaga, Muto and Ehime Pro joshi wrestler Mizuhime Saijo. Muto climbed the ropes to do the Moonsault but he slipped and bounced out of the ring. Takagi and Matsunaga ended up on the ring apron when they missed an attack on Saijo against the ropes. Saijo then grabbed her water gun and sprayed the two Booing wrestlers until they fell down to the floor. Saijo was declared the winner!

With the Battle Royal portion of the competition over, Sanshiro Takagi announced the judging results. Everyone passed! Their prize is a spot on “ALL DOIN”, a special event for indie wrestlers taking place at Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 9th November. Takagi then introduced the executive chairperson for the show. He is the student wrestling legend MEN’S Teioh! His role is to help everyone prepare for the show. Teioh was dismayed over the amount of shit being given to him but he knows he can find a diamond in there somewhere.

Yuni had Makoto Oishi pinned with a Hurricanrana but Antonio Honda poked him in the eyes with a Double Gongitsune Strike. Oishi then flipped Yuni over to pin him for the three count.

307 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. Shoko Nakajima defeated Yuki Kamifuku with the Northern Lights Suplex (7:27).
2. Hyper Misao defeated Hinano with the HypAmi Returns (6:45).
3. Reika Saiki & Miu defeated Yuu & Raku when Saiki submitted Raku with the Tower Bridge (10:34).
4. Mizuki Vs Maki Itoh ended in a Time Limit Draw (15:00).
5. Nodoka Tenma & Yuki Aino defeated Yuka Sakazaki & Hikari when Aino pinned Hikari with the Side Suplex (12:10).
6. Azusa Takigawa Debut 3rd Anniversary Memorial Match: Miyu Yamashita defeated Azusa Takigawa with the Crash Rabbit Heat (14:14).

Today was a very important day for Azusa Takigawa. She was celebrating her third year as a pro wrestler with a big match against Miyu Yamashita. Takigawa was anticipating it so much she was annoyed that there were no cake or decorations set up to surprise her when she came out. She moved on from that and asked Yamashita to sing a graduation song with her while they held hands. That turned into an opportunity for Takigawa to blindside Yamashita with an attack but Yamashita was ready for her. The end of the match had Takigawa trying to counter the Attitude Adjustment into a Crucifix Pin. Unfortunately Takigawa wasn’t strong enough and Yamashita was able to hit the Attitude Adjustment. A few Buzzsaw Kicks and the Crash Rabbit Heat brought an end to the match.

Takigawa cried over the result and Yamashita tried to cheer her up. Yamashita doesn’t want Takigawa to graduate but she knows she won’t change her mind. Yamashita was happy to help make today memorable for Takigawa and she congratulated her. Takigawa thanked her for the match and said Yamashita will get a copy of her new gravure photobook. It’s already been paid for with a deduction from Yamashita’s wages. Takigawa then said she will look forward to seeing what Tokyo Joshi Pro will be like in 10 years, 20 years, 50 years and 100 years time!

Yuki Aino won her first match today, pinning Hikari with the Side Suplex in a tag match. Aino & Nodoka Tenma then challenged the Magical Suger Rabbits to a TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles Match. Nodoka said that she and Aino have always had matching bags and clothes ever since they were children. Now she wants them to have matching championship belts! Yuka Sakazaki wasn’t convinced enough to give them the match. Aino admitted it is early for her to challenge for a championship but with her sister by her side she is confident they can win. Sakazaki liked what she heard and accepted the challenge.

The much anticipated match between Maki Itoh and Mizuki ended without a winner as the 15 minute time limit expired. Itoh grabbed the microphone and said even though it was a draw, in her head she heard a three count. Itoh admitted defeat. However Mizuki admitted defeat too, saying in her mind she was tapping out. They passed the microphone back and forth talking between the tears about wanting to do more but having no time. Itoh encouraged Mizuki to move on now she is a tag team champion with someone else. She will still be in the ring with her but instead of standing beside her, she will stand in front of her! All Itoh wants now is Mizuki to give her true feelings about the Itoh Respect Army. Mizuki yelled she doesn’t want to and she will always stand by Itoh’s side. Itoh struck Mizuki with an Elbow Smash and the two bowed to each other in thanks. They left the ring together with Itoh singing “Ultra Soul”.

Yuu & Raku came up with a new way to do the Good Night Express. Yuu lifted up Raku and cradled her to sleep before laying her on top of Reika Saiki to complete the Express. It still didn’t win the match though.

Yuki Kamifuku used lipstick to mess up Shoko Nakajima’s ace during their match. Nakajima grabbed the lipstick and went to do the same but Kamifuku dodged it and Daisuke Kiso got his face messed up instead. Nakajima was able to use the lipstick on Kamifuku against the ropes to set up a 619. She then won with the Northern Lights Suplex.

It was announced that Azusa Takigawa and Nonoko will reform Konkatsu-gun for one night only on 3rd October.

6. Yoga Vs Aikata! Tag Showdown!: Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Osamu Nishimura when Fujita pinned Hiroshi with the Samson Clutch (11:06).
7. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Naoki Tanizaki (c) with the V Slider (16:35).
*Naoki Tanizaki fails in V3. Ryota Nakatsu becomes the 11th Union MAX Champion!

BASARA’s return to Korakeun Hall ended in joy because Ryota Nakatsu is now the new Union MAX Champion! It was a challenge for him to dethrone Naoki Tanizaki. He had to kick out of both the Reverse Implant and the regular Implant back to back to stay in the match. Nakatsu shouted out Ryuichi Sekine’s name as he mounted his comeback. This led to Nakatsu putting Tanizaki in the Let’s Combine submission hold. Tanizaki kicked out of the V Slider but was then trapped in the Crescent Moon half crab hold. Nakatsu eventually let go of the hold and wore down Tanizaki with Buzzsaw Kicks before putting him away with another V slider.

Sekine was the first person to congratulate Nakatsu on becoming the champion. He also came to the conclusion that now is the time for Cavalry to split up. There is nothing negative behind this decision, Sekine thinks it should happen because he wants to challenge Nakatsu for the belt. In order to become even stronger, they must fight each other eventually. Nakatsu agreed and accepted the split but he ensured everyone they will still get along as friends. Nakatsu said he was glad to discover pro wrestling and join BASARA and today he has become BASARA’s top wrestler! He cut himself off thinking that Isami Kodaka would give a different opinion but Kodaka communicated to him that he can’t speak and had to go to the hospital. More on that below.

Last May Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Osamu Nishimura were opponents. Today they became tag partners. Meanwhile Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita wrestled in matching black and white gear that they recently debuted in Michinoku Pro. They both puy Hiroshi & Nishimura in Sleeper Holds but the Yoga team peacefully resisted the moves by meditating. The referee wanted them to show movement so he began a ten count. Hiroshi woke up and fought back against Fujita. However Hidaka decided to join in with Nishimura’s meditation. Hiroshi tried to put Fujita in a Cobra Twist but it was countered into the Samson Clutch, giving Fujita the pinfall victory. After the match Fujita was now deeply meditating and wouldn’t budge no matter who kicked him so he had to be carried to the back, still in his yoga pose.

Unfortunately Kodaka didn’t come out of the Hardcore Cage Match in one piece. The chair shots and cage smashes took their toll and left Kodaka with a fractured jaw. Kodaka tried to sneak by with a win with the European Clutch but Masashi Takeda kicked out of it. Takeda then struck Kodaka with a steel can and pinned him with the Reverse U Crash. The two signalled afterwards that they want another match against each other sometime.

Don Fujii enjoyed his time at BASARA today. He described his team with Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe as if they’ve been friends for 20 years. They were like senior high school students today even though Sekine and Abe went to high school decades after Fujii did. The team were rewarded with alcohol by the match sponsor Cielo.

Takumi Tsukamoto got to celebrate his 9th wrestling anniversary with a few of his friends from Big Japan and FREEDOMS. Tsukamoto teamed with Toru Sugiura to beat Kazuki Hashimoto & Tatsuhiko Yoshino. The four of them reminisced backstage about their early years as rookies after the match. Tsukamoto came out of it feeling blessed that he was strong both mentally and physically to advance past his early career and become what he is today 9 years later. He thinks he might bring back the wrestling class of 2009 for his 10th anniversary.

Daiki Shimomura did what Kodaka asked of him and attached a tail to his costume. Takato Nakano also made his entrance carrying a samurai sword given to him by Kodaka. The Best Stretchmen promoted their new T-shirts then made Stretchman Man remove the hook from his hand for everyone’s safety. He later put the hook back on to do his finisher but Best Stretchman V3 stopped him so they could all do their stretch pose instead. Akiyori Takizawa & Takato Nakano interrupted the pose with Dropkicks but Nakano got singled out and was slashed by Stretchman Man’s hook. He was then pinned with the Double Stretch Kick by the V3 & Best Stretchman Amazon.

Yusuke Kubo entered to a new theme song. He was able to save SAGAT from defeat a couple of times but was taken out by Jun Masaoka’s Thrust Kick. That left SAGAT with no choice but to submit when Manabu Hara put him in a Chickenwing Armlock.

Before the dark match began, Gouma Ryu entered the ring with Sekine for last minute training. Sekine taught Ryu how to do a Wristlock and Ryu was able to use it move against Yasu Urano. Ryu also asked the audience to point at the video screen whenever Ryu spun his finger around so Urano would get distracted. That way Ryu can do his Running Neckbreaker finisher. Urano did fall for the trick but he dodged the Running Neckbreaker and gave Ryu his own version of the move to win.

6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Mike Bailey & MAO (c) Vs Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei
7. KO-D Openweight Title – Survival 3 Way Match: Meiko Satomura (c) Vs Shigehiro Irie Vs Danshoku Dieno

The winner of the main event is guaranteed to defend the KO-D Openweight Title against Daisuke Sasaki in the main event of “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018”. This three way grudge has Meiko Satomura wanting to beat Shigehiro Irie, Irie wanting to beat Danshoku Dieno and Dieno wanting to beat Satomura.

The Moonlight Express has become familiar with the Brahman Brothers over the late summer. The Brahmans earned their KO-D Tag Team Titles shot by beating the Express at this year’s campsite match. MAO has also been showing off his crazy side every chance he gets. I don’t think they can get a van up to the 5th floor of Korakuen though.

Don’t let the addition of Kikutaro to the Special 6-Man Tag Match fool you. He can get wild with the best of them if he has too.

Let’s try and discover some of the entries in the ALL DOIN dark match. Eririn Takagi (no relation to Sanshiro Takagi) is from the W.I.N. amateur group in Tokyo. He is described as a top class social wrestler with a nice looking Northern Lights Suplex. ONAKIN is from SWS Student Wrestling in Tokyo. His nickname is Mr. Dropkick. When he started wrestling his favourite wrestler was Roman Reigns and he did the Superman Punch. Now his favourite is Shinichiro Tominaga. ONAKIN’s goal this year is to become an invincible champion. Kim Yocchan & Gundan Hitori once teamed together for a KO-D Tag Titles match back in 2010 when Sanshiro Takagi & Munenori Sawa were defending the belts anywhere outside. Hitori is from CWP (Come On Wrestling Party) in Kanto. The group also uses the name COWPER for some of its events. The 5th Tiger Mask in this match is sadly not Minowaman. This one is a chubby looking Tiger Masked fella from Nagano. ZIMA Yoshida is freelancer nicknamed “The Volk Han Of Adachi-ku”. Mizuki Saijo is a joshi wrestler from Ehime Pro Wrestling. Pulp Bonjin is a masked wrestler also from Ehime Pro. Bonjin holds grudges against people who waste paper tissues. Momo Ne is a joshi wrestler from Hokkaido. Monster Halloween is an nkw throwback to all of the monster costume gimmicks from the 90s hardcore promotions. I haven’t been able to find clear information about Big Bear, Henchin and Movie Star.

1. Sanshiro Takagi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga defeated Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Matsunaga pinned Shimatani with a Cradle (6:22).
2. Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata & Yuki Ueno defeated MAO, Keisuke Ishii & Makoto Oishi when Hirata pinned Oishi with the Miracle One Shot Cradle (9:08).
3. Do Not Stop The DDT Video Group Camera! 2 Vs 1 Handicap Match: Yumehito Imanari defeated Super Sasadango Machine & Norikazu Fujioka when Imanari pinned Machine with the Chubby Knee (7:53).
4. KUDO & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Antonio Honda when KUDO pinned Honda with the Diving Double Knee Drop (10:04).
5. The Strongest Oyaji Decision Match: Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Tanomusaku Toba by Knockout with a Right High Kick (6:18).
6. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Soma Takao defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Yuki Iino when Endo pinned Iino with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (16:20).
7. Nagoya Specialty! Miso Stew Special Tag Match: Meiko Satomura & HARASHIMA defeated Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase when HARASHIMA pinned Watase with the Somato (12:09).

Meiko Satomura gave Shigehiro Irie the Death Valley Bomb then held him back while HARASHIMA pinned Mizuki Watase with the Somato. Satomura told the crowd afterward that she wants to appeal her way of life in DDT because she has pride in what she has accomplished in joshi.

A missed Spear ruined ALL OUT’s chances of beating DAMNATION in their latest showdown. Yuki Iino targeted Tetsuya Endo but a well timed dodge led Iino Spearing into Konosuke Takeshita instead. Endo capitalised with the Handspring Leg Lariat and Swivel Torture Rack Bomb to win.

Yukio Sakaguchi and Tanomusaku Toba both focused on trying to get either a knockout win or a submission over the other. A clash between Sakaguchi’s High Kick and Toba’s Right Hook ended in Sakaguchi’s favour and Yukinori Matsui stopped the match when Toba hit the canvas with no sign of recovery. After the match Sakaguchi reminisced about the old days and thanked Toba for bringing him back to his entry to DDT 6 years ago. He asked for another match sometime but Toba pleaded with him not to do it. Shuten-dōji then invited Toba to join them for a toast but they did not have a drink for him, so Toba grabbed tea from a spectator.

Before the DDT Video Group 3 Way Match began, Yumehito Imanari revealed that he is quitting his role in the team and part of it is Super Sasadango Machine’s fault! Norikazu Fujioka pleaded with him to change his mind otherwise the entire team would collapse without him. Imanari then proposed to change the match into a 2 Vs 1 Handicap Match. If Imanari loses to Sasadango & Fujioka then he will not quit the Video Team. Fujioka tried to stand up and act tough but Sasadango reminded him he doesn’t have the body or the training to wrestle. Fujioka proved Sasadango wrong by doing a Hurricanrana. Unfortunately he did it to Sasadango instead of Imanari. That led to Imanari hitting Sasadango with the Chubby Knee to win the match. Sasadango accepted defeat and said he and Fujioka will do their best to run DDT’s video production without Imanari. However Imanari had a change in heart and decided he will keep working with them when he can while he wrestles for Ganbare☆Wrestling.

Kazuki Hirata survived the Miracle Ecstasy from Makoto Oishi. He then countered the Jikiden Tornado Clutch into the Miracle One Shot Cradle to get DISASTER BOX the win. This was good progress for the Hirata, Toru Owashi & Yuki Ueno as they prepare for their KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match next month.

A big entertainment news story in Japan currently is the retirement of singer Namie Amuro. The DDT wrestler most effected by this news is Nobuhiro Shimatani. He wanted to sing her songs because her music changed his entire life. Sanshiro Takagi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga did what they could to stop him. Booing 2018 won the match and to add insult to injury, sang and danced along to one of Namie Amuro’s songs afterwards. Takagi didn’t know the lyrics so he just hummed along to the music.

3. Two Big Single Match! ~Minami~: Toru Owashi, Super Sasadango Machine & Yukinori Matsui defeated Daisuke Kiso by Disqualification (6:21).
4. Sanshiro Takagi & Hiroaki Moriya defeated Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Takagi pinned Takanashi with the Sit Down Himawari Bomb (7:50).
5. Two Big Single Match! ~Kita~: Jun Kasai defeated Yuki Ueno with the Pearl Harbor Splash (12:12).
6. Battle In The Big Ring Of Naniwa! Osaka Specialty 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Meiko Satomura, HARASHIMA & Kazuki Hirata when Sasaki submitted Hirata with the Cross Facelock (15:36).
7. RENEGADES Vs ALL OUT!: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase when Takeshita pinned Watase with the Surprise Rose (16:49).

Konosuke Takeshita was motivated to have a good performance today to make up for missing the previous DDT show in Osaka because of his injury. His healed shoulder was turned into a target by RENEGADES. Both Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase did what they could to try and destroy Takeshita’s shoulder. But Takeshita escaped from danger and pinned Watase with the Surprise Rose to give himself & Akito the victory. After the match Takeshita said that Osaka will always flow in his blood. He was born in Suminoe, lived there until he was three years old and lived in Osaka until he turned 18. His goal is to bring DDT to bigger buildings in Osaka!

A fight broke out after Match #6 when Daisuke Sasaki tried to steal the KO-D Openweight Title while the rest of DAMNATION blocked off Meiko Satomura. The champion got her way past them and struck Sasaki with an Elbow Smash. Sasaki gave the belt back while HARASHIMA tried to calm Satomura down.

Jun Kasai beat Yuki Ueno up a bit but the youngster earned his respect. Kasai mentioned after the match he could still see life and cockiness in Ueno’s eyes. He told Ueno they can fight again any time and he wanted to shake his hand. Ueno instead gave him both middle fingers. Kasai was left wondering what kind of education does DDT put its young wrestlers through? He also tried to sneak in a call for election votes before Hisaya Imabayashi could cut him off.

Sanshiro Takagi asked Hiroaki Moriya to get involved with the ALL DOIN match later this month. Unfortunately a scheduling conflict prevents Moriya from joining in. He promised to work with Takagi again the next time DDT comes to Suminoe.

There was no video equipment set up in the venue so Super Sasadango Machine posted today’s PowerPoint presentation to Twitter for everyone to see. Sasadango worked out that Toru Owashi has a better win-loss record as a comedy wrestler than as a serious wrestler. So Sasadango’s plan today had three steps involved. 1) Anger Owashi by encouraging the audience to boo him. 2) Have Sasadango switch places with Hisaya Imabayashi in a Sasadango disguise so he could ambush Owashi, making him even more mad. 3) Trick the angered Owashi into attacking the referee. Owashi did indeed hit Daisuke Kiso with a Lariat by accident. Yukinori Matsui came into the ring and Owashi pleaded innocence until Kiso got up and gave both of them a Headlock/Headscissors combo. Somehow, Matsui declared that was illegal and disqualified Kiso! Sasadango, Owashi and Matsui were then declared the winners.

2a. 3 Way Match: Moeka Haruhi defeated Shin Mokujin Ken and Yumehito Imanari when Haruhi pinned Imanari with a School Boy (4:20).
3. Kouki Iwasaki Belongs To Ganbare 1st Round Special Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii & Shota defeated Yumehito Imanari & Kouki Iwasaki when Ishii pinned Imanari with a Back Sky Kick (10:45).

Ganbare☆Wrestling was back with a show that felt like a Yumehito Imanari Appreciation Night because he was involved in every match. In the main event he teamed with Kouki Iwasaki in Iwasaki’s first match as a Ganpro regular. He turned a match between Moeka Haruhi and Shin Mokujin Ken he was officiating into a 3 Way Match so he could also be in it. Also he fought Tanomusaku Toba to a draw to kick off the show.

Imanari went through the entire show without winning any matches. Despite that record, Imanari asked Keisuke Ishii if they could have a match for the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title. He wants to fight for the belt that was created in FMW because he admires Atsushi Onita and Koji Nakagawa so much. Ishii accepted the challenge and it will take place on 29th September. Kouki Iwasaki Vs Shuichiro Katsumura is also booked on that show. Iwasaki will also get a match against Hideki Suzuki on 11th October. He was given a signed copy of Suzuki’s book “Introduction To Catch As Catch Can” that he can read to prepare for the match. Iwasaki said this was the reason why he wanted to join Ganpro.

Somebody in the audience then called out to Imanari. It was Hiroshi Yamato! He enjoyed today’s show and wants to give Ganpro a shot. Imanari happily booked him on the 11th October show. One last figure then appeared in the room. It was Ken Ohka! However Ohka looked different from the last time he was seen storming out of a Ganpro show. He was wearing a ten gallon hat and cowboy boots. He told Imanari he only came here to see the show, nothing else. Imanari asked Ohka what he was doing and tried to encourage him to come back. Imanari wants Ohka to work together with him as Ganpro heads towards Korakuen Hall later this year. He offered Ohka a match with Nobuhiro Tsurumaki on 29th September to determine if Ohka is still capable of doing his best. Ohka agreed to the match and told everyone that the 29th will be his resurrection day! He will change, Ganpro will change and the entire world will change too!

Moeka Haruhi brought a machine gun as part of her Tomb Raider cosplay. She wanted to shoot Shin Mokujin Ken with it but Imanari stopped her because of Ichigaya’s gun laws. Imanari was the referee of the match but he got so into it he begun to wrestle the others so it was turned into a 3 Way Match. Imanari pissed off Haruhi when he implied she will soon get fat. That comment also pissed off Ken apparently because it then decided to help Haruhi beat Imanari. Haruhi thanked Ken after the match by planting a rose on its head.

5. Kota Umeda “Mad Dog” 7 Match Series – 5th Match: Shinya Aoki defeated Kota Umeda with a Foot Choke (6:42).
6. Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase defeated Meiko Satomura & Daisuke Sasaki when Irie pinned Satomura with the Beast Bomber (14:15).

The unusual pairing of Meiko Satomura and Daisuke Sasaki could not put aside their differences against RENEGADES. Sasaki kept trying to avoid being tagged in whenever he could. Satomura hit him hard when she was able to tag him. Sasaki did wrestle seriously against Shigehiro Irie & Mizuki Watase but when the moment was right for him to betray Satomura, he took it. Sasaki hit Satomura with a Thrust Kick and left her for dead so Irie could hit her with the Beast Bomber. Satomura still had strength left in her and she proved it by kicking out of the Missile Kick Piledriver combo from RENEGADES. But another Beast Bomber from Irie put her down for the count. Irie told Satomura that there is a difference in power between men and women. She will be destroyed in Korakuen Hall to the point that she won’t get back up.

When Satomura left ringside, Irie’s promo was interrupted by a video message from Danshoku Dieno. In the message Dieno said he will get revenge on Irie for attacking him but he won’t be a coward. He will fight Irie face to face! Dieno’s music hit and RENEGADES faced the entrance waiting for Dieno to come out. Dieno snuck into the ring from a different angle and blinded everyone with Milk Mist! He then gave Irie the Danshoku Driver. Dieno got on the microphone and acted like he did what he promised. He attacked Irie head on. Now they have to wait until 23rd September for the Survival 3 Way Match. Dieno wonders if Satomura will survive today’s defeat and continue fighting? Will Irie rip apart two people in the ring? Whatever will happen, Dieno will come out of it as the KO-D Openweight Champion!

Kota Umeda kicked away Shinya Aoki’s hand when he was offered a handshake. Bad move! Aoki took Umeda’s kicks and grappled him down to the canvas. Umeda gained momentum with a Dragon Suplex, a Brainbuster and a PK but as soon as Aoki trapped him in a Foot Choke it was all over for Umeda.

Aoki thanked Umeda for the match then talked about the other reason why he stepped into the DDT ring today. Aoki wants to challenge HARASHIMA for the DDT Extreme Title! Aoki is aware that HARASHIMA will get to choose the match stipulation so he asked for the match rules to be sent to him within a week. He will accept either a hand written message or a PDF document. Tetsuya Koda and Hisaya Imabayashi argued over when to book the match and agreed to have it at the 21st October Korakuen show. HARASHIMA welcomed Aoki to the harsh world of EXTREME!

The DAMNATION Vs ALL OUT match was called off when Nobuhiro Shimatani interfered and struck Yukinori Matsui with the DAMNATION placard from the DNA Draft. Konosuke Takeshita stood up from the commentary table and confronted Shimatani. It’s not time for Takeshita’s official return from injury but he asked Koda if the match could restart as a 6-Man Tag with him and Shimatani both included. The match restarted and while Takeshita got his hands on Shimatani, DAMNATION quickly targeted his injured shoulder. It was clear that Takeshita wasn’t ready to return but he was still able to pin Shimatani with a Crucifix to get ALL OUT the win. Takeshita told Akito & Yuki Iino about his frustrations while he was out of action. Now that he is back he wants to wrestle at the rest of this week’s DDT shows.
