BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. THREE: SECRET OF THE OOZE”, 07/03/2023
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa
50 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. WTF?! Tag Team Match: Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei defeated Drew Parker & Death Worm when Kei pinned Worm with a Stake Attack To The Mouth (9:30).
2. Special Tag Team Match: Masahiro Takanashi & Mei Suruga defeated MAO & Chie Koishikawa when Suruga pinned Koishikawa with an Inside Cradle (12:22).
3. Special Singles Match: Chris Brookes defeated Maya Yukihi with the Praying Mantis Bomb (14:09).

The third Baka Gaijin + Friends caused a little more damage to ARENA Shimokitazawa than the previous ones. During the main event Chris Brookes and Maya Yukihi fought by the bar and treated the counter like a top turnbuckle to do diving moves off of. Brookes was pretty much too tall to do that and hit the chandelier hanging from the ceiling as he jumped off the counter. That broke the lights and caused that corner of the room to go dark! Brookes ended up recovering and beat Yukihi with the Praying Mantis Bomb after she kicked out of a Tombstone and a Tiger Driver.

Just like on the first show, Chie Koishikawa went full Chris Brookes cosplay for her tag match. MAO wore a costume too, pretending to be Baliyan Akki. This caused Masahiro Takanashi to attack both of them for being fakes. The real Akki got involved in the match to help Mei Suruga deal with MAO. Suruga then got to pin Koishikawa with an Inside Cradle for a three count.

The Brahman Brothers complained about having little room to wrestle in. They eventually found enough space to do their usual bowling ball spot. Death Worm did well to fight against them until it suddenly stopped moving. Takayuki Ueki explained it was Death Worm’s feeding time but The Brahmans stopped him from giving Worm its food. Drew Parker came to the rescue and gave Worm a sausage to eat, powering it back up. Parker grabbed a can of beer and went to hit The Brahmans with it. He missed and the can ended up hitting Worm in the mouth, making it drink enough beer to get drunk! The Brahmans then stuck a large wooden stake into Worm’s mouth and bashed it with a traffic sign. It knocked out Death Worm long enough to get pinned.

Whoever said Lingerie Muto had retired was wrong because his spot in the show was an open challenge for a fight! He looked out among the crowd for any takers, causing everyone to notice Will Ospreay sitting at the back of the room with Aussie Open. Muto then noticed Takeshi Masada next to them but Masada didn’t want to get into trouble with DDT if he accepted. Muto realised he could not wrestle anybody in the room under contract to a wrestling company so he instead randomly picked a female fan named Inoue to be his opponent. The fan overpowered Muto in a Test Of Strength. Muto climbed the bar counter wanting to do the Moonsault but had second thoughts and stepped down. Muto then got the fan on the mat and tried to apply the Figure 4 Leg Lock but Daisuke Kiso stopped him. Muto attacked Kiso and gave him a DDT but left himself vulnerable on his back. The fan pinned Muto and Kiso counted to three, declaring her the winner!

The next Baka Gaijin event will be at ARENA Shimokitazawa on 18th April.

8. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Yumehito Imanari (c) defeated Ken Ohka with the Lariat (19:25).
*V1 for Yumehito Imanari.

Today Ganbare☆Pro reached Ota Ward Gymnasium to hold the biggest event in its nine year history. The two men most important to the promotion faced off in the main event. On the one side is Ganpro’s founder Ken Ohka, the man who created the company in the hopes of making his own major sports league. His opponent is the first person to stand by him during Ganpro’s creation. Yumehito Imanari was just a member of DDT’s video team who wrestled on a part time basis. Today he was headlining Ota Ward Gym as the defending Spirit Of Ganbare Champion. The two fought each other knowing it was the most important match of their lives. Ohka relied on the Flame Spear but it was Imanari’s use of the Lariat that ended the match with his arm raised in the air and a successful first title defence.

After the match Imanari said when he became a pro wrestler he embarrassed himself a lot. But it is that shame that led him to the treasure he has now. He said Ganpro is necessary in the wrestling world because there is nowhere else where you can put your life on the line in such a muddy atmosphere. If you ever have a hard time, look at Ganpro! Ohka didn’t cry when he lost. He laughed instead. He doesn’t understand why because it should be the opposite. At 45 years of age he believes he still has room to grow. He wants to work hard with the younger wrestlers and continue his work to make pro wrestling into a major sport. The attendance of 804 fans today is considered a success and is going to inspire Ganpro when they decide on their next big goal.

The other important matches on the show were built around matches where Ganpro wrestlers fought outsiders. The tag team battle between ROMANCE DAWN and CDK was Ganpro’s top tag team taking on the notorious duo found in DDT and ChocoPro. CDK did some cheating throughout the match. Early on Chris Brookes taped Soma Takao to a dolly and rolled him away from ringside, leaving Shota fighting in a 2 on 1 disadvantage. Takao was able to get freed and return to the ring. Brookes also grabbed HARUKAZE and Gorilla Pressed her out of the ring onto everyone below. Later Masahiro Takanashi pulled the referee out of the ring to break up Shota’s Frog Splash on Brookes. Shota was then hit over the head with the Asia Dream Tag Team Title belt but he kicked out of the pin. ROMANCE DAWN was able to get the win out of nowhere when Shota countered the Praying Mantis Bomb into the Gannosuke Clutch, pinning Brookes for the victory. Shota said he is ready to go for a rematch while Takao was happy to win in his hometown with his friend. Brookes is making demands for a singles match. He wants to go one on one. But not against Shota, he is demanding a match against HARUKAZE! Takanashi backs up the idea and suggested they do a tag match if HARUKAZE has a tag partner.

Fans were allowed to cheer which meant everyone got to shout “Kaze Ni Nare!” during Minoru Suzuki’s entrance. But when it was time for his match to begin, the cheers and chants were for Ganpro’s own Shuichiro Katsumura. The match was filled with strikes and submission holds with a little bit of chair usage from Suzuki. He broke out of the Ninja Choke and dropped Katsumura with the Gotch-Style Piledriver to win the match. In a rare act of sportsmanship, Suzuki shook Katsumura’s hand and left to ring to give his opponent the spotlight. He even later admitted to enjoying the match! Katsumura said getting the match he always wanted is no big deal and he will continue to wrestle for Ganpro.

Emotions ran high for Yuna Manase’s match against Sayaka Unagi. The two have history together that recently mutated into Unagi holding a grudge. Their only previous singles match happened early in Unagi’s career and the loss to Manase has haunted her ever since. She showed erratic behavior at a press conference for the match by biting Manase’s chest. She did the same here when the match began. The match continued to heat up with Manase throwing Lariats. But Unagi broke through her defences and got the three count after hitting the Jomon Toppa. After the match Unagi confessed that she does not hate Ganpro and she does not believe Manase is on her last run. She learned about the fun and freedom of pro wrestling from Manase so she’s not going to let her quit so easily. They also now have a 1-1 record against each other. Unagi believes she will one day become the top wrestler in Stardom and the world of pro wrestling. When she does she will look for Manase so they can have the rubber match.

Ganpro’s previous experiences with Eruption have ended with the DDT unit bullying them. Yukio Sakaguchi in particular has been a pain in the back for Mizuki Watase to deal with. It ended up causing Watase to shave his own head after he dropped the fall to Sakaguchi in a Ganpro Vs Eruption match at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022”. Today was Watase’s shot at redemption when he teamed with Moeka Haruhi & Shinichiro Tominaga against the same trio of Sakaguchi, Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani. He finally got his day in the sun when he pinned Sakaguchi with an Elbow Butt to the face. Once Sakaguchi got over the shock of defeat, he gave Watase a congratulatory pat to the body and left him to celebrate with his team.

The advertised 3 Vs 2 Handicap Match turned into a 6-Man Tag Match on short notice. Munenori Sawa wasn’t around so in his place was Lingerie Muto as an active participant in the match! Ganbare Tamagawa thought he was going to get a hero’s welcome for his first Ganpro appearance in years. He even created a new move for the occassion called the Ganbare☆Pro Elbow. Instead he got booed. YuuRI on the other hand got loads of streamers thrown at her, leaving her in tears of joy because she debuted during the pandemic and never experienced an audience response like this. The ring was also filled with ecto dust whenever Onryo did something with Nobuhiro Shimatani. In the end, HARUKAZE was the one to win the match when she pinned YuuRI with the Flame Spear.

After nine months wrestling for Ganpro, Tyson Maeguchi finally gets his first direct win! The opportunity came when Tatsuhito Takaiwa accidentally hit 5th Black Tiger with a Lariat. Kouki Iwasaki then gave Tiger a Vertical Drop Brainbuster and left him for Maeguchi to finish off. Maeguchi did so with a Diving Body Press taught to him by Kota Ibushi. He now believes this is the end of Taison Maeguchi: the weak pro wrestler. From this day forth he is Taison Maeguchi: the strong pro wrestler! Next up he would like to aim for a championship. Takaiwa said this is not the end of him or his Takaiwa Army because he is still looking to understand the Ganbare Spirit.

The show opened with a barnburner between four wrestlers linked together through a time before Ganpro even existed. Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie, Isami Kodaka and Shuji Ishikawa smashed each other to pieces until somebody reached their breaking point. That came when Kodaka hit Ishii with the Isamiashi Zan. Even when the match was over tempers were flaring. Kodaka said he is the top wrestler of BASARA and Ishikawa is the top wrestler of All Japan. He thinks Ishii and Ganpro haven’t grown at all in the decade that passed since Union Pro closed down. Ishikawa was in a happier mood and congratulated Kodaka on his 20th anniversary in wrestling. He explained he can’t be at Kodaka’s 20th Anniversary show because he has a booking with AJPW on the same day.

The new Ganbare☆Joshi signing is Yoshiko Hasegawa! The former Actwres girl’Z wrestler left the business at the end of last year after dealing with a neck injury. However after a year and seven months since her last match, she will re-debut for Ganpro on 13th August. She calls it her re-debut because she is starting again from scratch. Part of the reason is because Ganpro does mixed gender matches and she wants to take part in them to get stronger. She is also currently still getting treatment on her neck but assures everyone she will be ready to wrestle again on 13th August.

1. Special Single Match: Nobuhiro Shimatani (w/ Mao) defeated Keigo Nakamura (w/ Sawashi Star) with the Fisherman Buster (10:54).
2. Falls Count Anywhere Tornado Gake no Fuchi Hardcore Special Tag Match: Drew Parker & Rina Yamashita defeated Miyako Matsumoto & Chris Brookes when Yamashita pinned Matsumoto with the Splash Mountain onto Chairs (30:54).

Today was the first Gake no Fuchi Joshi show held in Shinjuku FACE and there were a few surprises in store. Before the bell rang for the main event, Chris Brookes told everyone (using Shota as his interpreter) he didn’t want to tag with Miyako Matsumoto because she is crazy. So he got in contact with a Japanese superstar who recently finished wrestling in America so they could come home. That superstar arrived today and made it to the show just in time. That’s right, it’s… Chinsuke Nakamura. There was another surprise guest to make sure the match didn’t turn into a 3 on 2 fight. Out came Lingerie Muto! They tried to fight each other but couldn’t do much. Drew Parker smashed a plastic case over Chinsuke’s head to get rid of him. Muto tried to do the Shining Wizard and Moonsault but his bad knees made him slip off the ropes. He went away after his bra got stripped off.

The match continued as the scheduled Falls Count Anywhere Tag. Matsumoto called on the idol Hikari Shiina to briefly help her team out. Rina Yamashita smashed a watermelon over Matsumoto’s head. Brookes and Parker threw each other onto thumbtacks, leaving them in the ring afterwards. Matsumoto got annoyed and asked why nobody swept them away. She got a nearfall on Yamashita with the ladder assisted Mamma Mia. Brookes set up a table by balancing it between a chair and the ropes, then made Matsumoto sit in a plastic case placed on top of the table. He was meant to slide her off the table onto Parker below but didn’t notice that Parker disappeared while he was setting the spot up. Matsumoto crashed onto the canvas by herself. Yamashita Power Bombed Brookes through a table with Parker’s help. Matsumoto dug wooden skewers into Parker’s head. Yamashita then did the same to Matsumoto and dropped her onto chairs with the Splash Mountain for the finish.

After the match Matsumoto complained about the pain and yelled for an ambulance. Yamashita said her scream was loud enough to prove she didn’t need one. Matsumoto then called for the police. Yamashita ignored her and finished her victory speech. Matsumoto thanked both her and Parker for the match then again asked for an ambulance. Today’s defeat feels like it breaks her heart but if the fans enjoyed the match then she is happy. She’ll think about doing something with Gake no Fuchi Joshi on 16th August.

Backstage after the show, Brookes and Parker agreed to make their DDT UNIVERSAL Title match on 7th September a No DQ Match.

The other match had a couple of changes. Keigo Nakamura was supposed to be accompanied by hostess ARISA but she cancelled her appearance a day before the show. Nakamura was instead walked down to the ring by Sawashi Star. It’s Munenori Sawa dressed up like Mao with a name based on her idol group Senoshi Star. Both of them interfered in the match several times. Mao got rid of Sawashi with a Lariat and helped Nobuhiro Shimatani beat Nakamura.

BURST GIRL, the idol group advertised to perform had to cancel because one of their members was in contact with a relative who has since tested positive for the Coronavirus. The member had since taken a PCR test but their results did not arrive in time for them to safely appear on the show. The replacement act was a group of underground idols called Heisei Haka-Arashi. They performed songs in-between matches and also performed live for Shimatani’s entrance.

Before the first match, Sawa gave the Gake no Fuchi oath. “All of us, the staff and the wrestlers, pledge to faithfully realize the theme park in Miyako Matsumoto’s mind!”

1. Miyako Matsumoto Vs Cypress Ueno ended in a Time Limit Draw (?:??).

The Coronavirus epidemic led to a lot of ideas being thrown around the wrestling industry for putting on matches that people can watch from the safety of their own homes. Miyako Matsumoto and Munenori Sawa then began to wonder is it possible to do pro wrestling without having anybody in the venue? No fans, no wrestlers, no referees. Nobody. Thus Mujin (Unmanned) Pro Wrestling was born! The match took place from Saitama Wrestle Arena where the voices of everyone involved was the only guidance towards what was going on.

Matsumoto’s opponent today was a rapper named Cypress Ueno. When the match began the two had a staredown with neither wanting to make the first move. Matsumoto sneezed and Ueno ate some ramen but other than that they were entirely still for the opening portion of the match. After slowly circling each other, they locked up and exchanged some limb holds.

There was a standstill until the two traded Shoulder Blocks. Ueno got the better in that exhange but only got a two count. He protested to Daisuke Kiso that it was three but the ref did not agree. Matsumoto took advantage and attacked Ueno with a Hair Whip move. Ueno noticed the attack was particularly strong because Matsumoto had been using shampoo to strengthen her hair. The two grappled over a Cobra Twist, rolling them around the ring in a circle until Matsumoto got caught in the ropes. She had to exit the ring to escape.

Ueno chased after Matsumoto and slammed her head into the apron. He then threw her into the ring post. As they fought up to the entrance stage, Kiso blew a whistle to tell them it was time for a Flag Race! First one to get back to the ring and attack Kiso wins a point. Matsumoto raced to the ring but Kiso avoided her attack and hit her back with a Flying Cross Chop. He won the minigame and was given the point. Matsumoto started biting Kiso until Ueno attack her from behind.

Ueno pulled off the Pro Wrestling LOVE pose and applied a Figure 4 Leg Lock. Matsumoto briefly reversed it but called for help when Ueno regained control. Out came Sawa to the rescue! He threw a Rabbit Punch but Ueno ducked it and knocked him out of the ring. Ueno went back to attacking Matsumoto with a Scorpion Deathlock until suddenly Lingerie Muto came out! Muto hit the Space Rolling Elbow on Ueno then threw him around with a Dragon Screw. Muto went for the Moonsault but his dodgy knee gave out while climbing and he fell to the canvas. Ueno attempted the Shining Wizard but Muto blocked it. Muto then went for the same move but Ueno also blocked it. Ueno trapped him in the Kido Clutch and Kiso decided to count the pin until Matsumoto broke the hold.

With Muto out of the way, Matsumoto and Ueno went back to fighting each other. A brief lapse of concentration from Kiso allowed Matsumoto to give Ueno a Low Blow. She went for the Reverse Tiger Driver but Ueno reversed it for a nearfall. He climbed the top rope, pulled out a pair of goggles and jumped to do the Pearl Harbor Splash! Matsumoto rolled out of the way and hit the Shining Gakezard but had no energy left to go for the cover.

Suddenly Shota ran down to the ring and started a 100 Push Up Challenge. He came close to quitting when he reached 86 push ups but everyone encouraged him to make 100. The room celebrated when he reached his target and everyone began rapping. That ended when Matsumoto jumped on Ueno to continue the match. She climbed the turnbuckle to do the Mamma Mia Z when suddenly a siren went off. It was a warning that only three minutes were left in the match. If the time limit is reached then the venue will explode!

On that bombshell, Sanshiro Takagi made his appearance and did his full entrance. He told Matsumoto he was here to help her. Ueno cut him off and threw him to the ropes. Takagi tried to hit a Stunner but Ueno reversed it with one of his own! He then gave Takagi the One-Winged Angel followed by a V-Trigger! Then a chainsaw could be heard in the distance. It was Leatherface! He ran out and chased Takagi around the ring with the chainsaw! The siren went off again for the final countdown. Matsumoto and Ueno panicked as the last ten seconds reached zero. An explosion went off and the room went dark.

The lights came back on. There in the middle of the ring were the now visible bodies of Matsumoto, Ueno and Kiso. They all recovered from the blast and got back to their feet. Shota and Sawa were then invited into the ring as Matsumoto gave her show closing speech. Everyone was thrilled with today’s match. She shook hands with Ueno to end the show.

1. Chikara (w/ Mao) defeated Miyako Matsumoto (w/ Ippanjin Munenori Sawa) with the Saber Chop (19:38).

The show began with a thrilled Miyako Matsumoto and Munenori Sawa announcing today’s Gake no Fuchi Joshi show has sold out with a bigger crowd than the one they had back on Christmas Eve. Sawa mentioned that Sanshiro Takagi couldn’t be here because he was having a meal with the president of AbemaTV. Matsumoto said if anyone in the audience had any complaints about the show, they should still send them to Takagi. The two left the ring then re-entered as part of the athlete’s ceremony. They remembered that the goal for today was to find a bride for Chikara.

The candidates Mao and Ichiho Shirahata entered the ring to meet Chikara. Before the match began, the two candidates faced off in a rap battle. Matsumoto joined in and the three way got too exciting for Chikara to handle. Daisuke Kiso ended the rap battle and asked the fans to choose the winner. Mao won the audience vote.

Next up was one of the regular challenges on these shows, the Kiso Flag Race. Matsumoto and Mao would race from the stage into the ring. The first one to hit Kiso would be the winner However, Mao turned out to be Sawa dressed in the same clothes. Sawa kicked Matsumoto out of the way and hit Kiso to win.

The show took a break for a special presentation of “Chikara Mania”. Darth Chikara came out to fight Ouchi Yoda in a Lightsaber duel. Matsumoto interrupted it and attacked both of them with a baseball bat “rigged to explode” with confetti. The match was ruled a no contest as the room filled with gun smoke.

Next, Metropoli-chan V entered the ring wearing a wedding dress. She was here to enter the contest and become Chikara’s bride. Matsumoto attacked her with the bat too.

Sawa and Chikara had a karaoke contest. Sawa sang “God Of Romance” and Chikara sang “Young Man”. Chikara won the audience vote.

There’s going to be a wrestling match soon. I swear! But first was another special presentation called “Ichiho Mania”. Shirahata and Mao has a Sailor Uniform Girl Showdown that did not feature sailor uniforms. They instead played a game where they had to push a piece of thread through a needle. Neither of them could do it so the game ended in a draw.

The ring announcer Uta Shima then added herself as a bride candidate. Shima and Shirahata both flirted with Chikara by saying different words in either a sexy or cute manner. Kiso judged Shima to be the winner.

When that was over Matsumoto, Mao, Chikara and Shirahata sat together to mimic a TV morning show debate. They talked about how charming Chikara is then started arguing over each other’s cooking skills. A fight was going to break out so Kiso ended the segment before things got violent. Shirahata was declared the winner of the talk show.

It was finally time for Chikara to make his decision. But just when he was about to choose his bride, his father Mitsuo Momota walked out! Even though Momota wants to have grandchildren as soon as possible, he came here today to watch a wrestling match! Matsumoto Vs Chikara was ready to begin, but first there was a 10 minute break.

At last the match happened. Mao got involved by putting Matsumoto in a Cobra Twist. Sawa ran in to rescue her but Chikara got rid of him with a Chop. Matsumoto grabbed Mao’s baseball cap and threw it away which made Chikara furious. Suddenly there were the surprise appearances of ASHUKA and Lingerie Muto! They fought until ASHUKA told everyone she had to fly back home to America. Muto left too and Sawa returned to fight Chikara in a proper wrestling match. Matsumoto used Sawa’s help to get the better of her opponent until Mao interfered again. Sawa went for the Shining Wizard on Chikara but Matsumoto got in the way and took the hit instead. Mao hit Matsumoto with the Saber Chop and Chikara followed up with one of his own to take the victory.

Chikara thanked Mao for teaming with him today. He was about to nominate her to be his bride when suddenly Shirahata’s manager came out. He said there was a violation of the rules. Chikara was not allowed to contact any of the women before the show but proof was shown on screen that Chikara sent a Twitter DM to Shirahata a few days ago! Matsumoto attacked Chikara for breaking the rules. It was then revealed that the kind of person Chikara really wants to marry is a female pro wrestler. That way then can talk about and share the same dream together. He won’t be able to marry Mao, but at least everybody now forgives him for sending the DM. Everyone then sang together to give the audience a happy ending.

*Meiko Satomura fails in V1. Danshoku Dieno becomes the 67th KO-D Openweight Champion!

The bumpy road towards Sumo Hall took another crazy turn today when Danshoku Dieno reclaimed the KO-D Openweight Title! Dieno used all of his wits to pin both champion Meiko Satomura and enemy Shigehiro Irie in a Survival 3 Way Match to win the belt. Irie was eliminated first when Dieno stopped his Beast Bomber with the Lip Lock. That left Irie defenceless for Satomura to hit the Scorpio Rising. Dieno then rolled Irie over with the Gaydo Clutch to pin him for the three count. Satomura took control of the match until Dieno blocked the Scorpio Rising and hit his own Death Valley Bomb on the champion. From there the Danshoku Driver put Satomura down and out leading to the new champion crowned.

In all his honesty, Dieno never thought he could do it but now he gets to be in the “PETER PAN” main event for the first time in his career! But first he needed to settle his grudge with Irie. He knows that Irie was never the best with words but Dieno understands what Irie wanted ever since his return earlier this year. He knows Irie didn’t like what DDT has changed into and he fought to make his vision of DDT. Irie is a part of DDT and Dieno promises to carry Irie’s vision on his back as champion. Dieno is grateful for what Irie has done so rather than apologise, he wants to thank him instead. Dieno offered out a handshake. At first Irie refused but only because Dieno stuck out his right hand. Irie wanted to shake Dieno’s left hand because it is closer to his heart.

Dieno then called over to Satomura to bury the hatchet with her. He understands what Satomura was fighting for. The KO-D Title is not exclusive to men or women, it is indiscriminate. After today Satomura has a win over Dieno and Dieno has a win over Satomura. Now he wants to shake hands with the rival who he is tied with. Satomura shook Dieno’s left hand then shook hands with Irie as well. All of Dieno’s problems are over. Well, except for the “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” main event…

The Sumo Hall main event is now confirmed to be Danshoku Dieno Vs Daisuke Sasaki with the KO-D Title on the line. When Irie and Satomura left the ring, Sasaki entered to confront the new champion. This is what Sasaki hates about Dieno. He hates how Dieno unexpectedly achieved his dream of main eventing Sumo Hall. Sasaki hates people who talk about their dreams. He is also sick of Dieno being the symbol of DDT. At Sumo Hall, Sasaki wants to make Dieno cry instead. Dieno told Sasaki that the main event of Sumo Hall will exceed his imagination. So if Sasaki wants to take the title from Dieno and replace him as the symbol, he better be prepared!

Hardcore action was promised in the semi-main event. Kikutaro was ready for it because he had both Sabu and Jun Kasai on his team. All he asked was for ALL OUT to avoid touching the right side of his head because he legit just had ear surgery. Konosuke Takeshita chopped the ear and knocked Kikutaro out. Kikutaro had to be carried away from ringside but he eventually returned with his bandages wrapped around his mask. There were a lot of chairs used in the match thanks to Sabu’s valet Super Genie throwing them into the ring whenever Sabu requested one. Sabu put Takeshita through a table with a Top Rope Leg Drop and Kasai hit the Pearl Harbor Splash but Akito & Shunma Katsumata stopped the pin in time to continue the match. Kikutaro set Takeshita up for a Brainbuster but wasted time giving his usual match ending speech to the audience. Takeshita later put Kikutaro in position for the Deadlift German Suplex and he also wasted time speaking to the fans. Kikutaro rolled him over with a Samson Clutch for a nearfall. He then tried the Brainbuster but his back gave out. Takeshita was then able to hit the Deadlift German Suplex for the win.

With that match out of the way, the entire ALL OUT unit stood in the ring to discuss their current form. Yuki Iino says he is ALL OUT but hasn’t gotten used to teaming with the others yet. Takeshita said ALL OUT is now fully resurrected but they have no place on the “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” card with one month to go. If DDT isn’t going to give them a match then maybe they should go on the next episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI” and do something about it. Takeshita was then cut off by the surprise appearance of the STRONG HEARTS! Out came CIMA, T-Hawk, El Lindaman & Duan Yingnan down to the ring. CIMA told Takeshita he watched the match he just had and felt there wasn’t enough fever in the ring. CIMA wants to know if Takeshita is still on a high level. Does he know what real pro wrestling is? The STRONG HEARTS took a midnight flight from Shanghai just to come here today and this is what they had to watch? Well CIMA has news for them. The STRONG HEARTS have their schedule free on 21st October, the same day DDT goes to Sumo Hall. What is ALL OUT going to do about it?

Takeshita sees where this is going. ALL OUT Vs STRONG HEARTS at Sumo Hall. A tag match would be fun but Takeshita wants something else. He wants to fight CIMA one on one! CIMA couldn’t believe the nerve of this kid calling him out. CIMA has been living in this ring for 21 years. Is Takeshita really prepared to wrestle him? We’ll find out because CIMA accepted the challenge! T-Hawk then took the microphone and demanded the remaining wrestlers in the two units face off in a 6-Man Tag Match. Three versus three is the perfect amount for him. Akito said there was no reason to refuse so that match is on too. Interim GM Tetsuya Koda announced both matches for 21st October in Sumo Hall. Takeshita then pointed out the next episode of Maji Manji is being held in Shibuya in two days time and he wants a special match there. El Lindaman suggested a full ALL OUT Vs STRONG HEARTS 8-Man Tag Match so that every DDT fan and STRONG HEARTS fan could enjoy it. That match was agreed to. Takeshita noticed how STRONG HEARTS are going around the Japanese wrestling scene doing whatever they want. When they come to DDT, ALL OUT will be there to face them!

The Moonlight Express were lulled into a false sense of security when The Brahman Brothers started off their match offering handshakes. The Brahmans then spat water at the Express and attacked them to start the match. Buckets of water were placed around ringside and the two teams threw the buckets at each other and the audience. Mainly the audience. The Brahmans did their bowling ball suitcase spot but Mike Bailey & MAO recovered to do the Skylab Hurricane on Brahman Kei. They attempted the Michinoku Tornado Driver but it was stopped when Brahman Shu blinded both of them with black ink mist. The Brahmans took out a stop sign and tried to hit MAO with it but Kei ended up hitting Shu. MAO then popped a balloon in front of Kei’s face. The balloon turned out to be filled with powder and it blinded Kei! MAO & Bailey climbed the same top rope and together jumped off in different directions. Bailey Moonsaulted outside onto Shu while MAO jumped into the ring to hit the Cannoball 450 on Kei, pinning him to earn a successful defence of the KO-D Tag Team Titles. After the match as the Brahmans were leaving they said they gained new memories today. They also called the Midnight Express crazy! That means a lot coming from them.

Super Sasadango Machine had to reveal a secret to explain why he was teaming with DISASTER BOX today. He lifted up his mask to reveal he is Muscle Sakai! Sakai was a member of the original DISASTER BOX back in 2006 so that’s why he was out here teaming with the modern version. The eliminations in the 5 Vs 5 match mostly consisted of ring outs. Soma Takao blinded HARASHIMA with red mist. That allowed DAMNATION to easily eliminate HARASHIMA and also Toru Owashi at the same time. Sasadango sacrificed himself to eliminate Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani with him when all three were Dropkicked off the ring apron. Kazuki Hirata then evened the teams down to two each when he snuck onto the apron and knocked Takao to the floor with a Sliding Kick. Tetsuya Endo put DAMNATION back in the lead by pinning Yuki Ueno with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb. Hirata surprised Endo by pinning him with the Miracle One Shot Cradle, bringing the match down to Hirata and Sasaki. Hirata did what he could to pin Sasaki including attempting the Mad Splash. Sasaki blocked the splash with his knees and put Hirata in the Cross Facelock to make him submit. Sasaki wins the match as the sole survivor for DAMNATION! Backstage Sasadango told DISASTER BOX he will continue to support them because they are no good at studying their opponents.

Ethan Page made a statement in his return to Japan by beating Kazusada Higuchi. The power versus power match ended when Page gave Higuchi an over shoulder Power Slam from the top rope for the pin.

Keisuke Okuda announced at the beginning of the show that he is now a a full time member of the DDT roster starting today. He had his excuses for being on the losing team against Shuten-dōji. He’s fine teaming with Tanomusaku Toba because he knows how good he is with gloves on. It was Yumehito Imanari that was the weak link according to Okuda. Looking ahead to his new status, Okuda wants to face Yukio Sakaguchi in more matches.

The Philosopher’s Stomp from Jason Kincaid followed by the Back Drop from Mizuki Watase gave RENEGADES the victory in the show opener.

The New Member Audition for Booing 2018 gave a spotlight to many low level pro wrestlers from across the independent wrestling scene. Sanshiro Takagi and Tomomitsu Matsunaga took part in the match both as participants and as judges. We had Movie Star using a rubber swimming ring to trap his opponents, Gundan Hitori walking around Korakuen singing into a Coke bottle, Monster Halloween carrying a chainsaw down to the ring and even a surprise appearance from Lingerie Muto. The final four were Takagi, Matsunaga, Muto and Ehime Pro joshi wrestler Mizuhime Saijo. Muto climbed the ropes to do the Moonsault but he slipped and bounced out of the ring. Takagi and Matsunaga ended up on the ring apron when they missed an attack on Saijo against the ropes. Saijo then grabbed her water gun and sprayed the two Booing wrestlers until they fell down to the floor. Saijo was declared the winner!

With the Battle Royal portion of the competition over, Sanshiro Takagi announced the judging results. Everyone passed! Their prize is a spot on “ALL DOIN”, a special event for indie wrestlers taking place at Shin-Kiba 1st RING on 9th November. Takagi then introduced the executive chairperson for the show. He is the student wrestling legend MEN’S Teioh! His role is to help everyone prepare for the show. Teioh was dismayed over the amount of shit being given to him but he knows he can find a diamond in there somewhere.

Yuni had Makoto Oishi pinned with a Hurricanrana but Antonio Honda poked him in the eyes with a Double Gongitsune Strike. Oishi then flipped Yuni over to pin him for the three count.
