4. Ueno Nordic Presents ~Yuki Ueno Löyly~: Takeshi Masada defeated Kuishinbo Kamen and Kikutaro when Masada pinned both Kamen and Kikutaro (11:23).
5. BZW Tag Team Title – NELJAS Presents ~MAO Löyly~: MAO & Yoshihiko (c) defeated Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi when Yoshihiko pinned Takanashi after the Double Rainmaker (18:59).
*V2 for MAO & Yoshihiko.
6. SeaSaunaShack Presents ~To-y Löyly~: Shuji Kondo defeated To-y with the King Kong Lariat (19:20).

All four members of The 37KAMIINA gathered everyone over to Shinjuku FACE for a wrestling show that is supposed to spread the feeling you get being in a sauna. Only two members of the group were actually able to wrestle because of injuries and health scares for the other two. To-y was one of them, fighting against another sauna lover Shuji Kondo in the main event. To-y did his best and even landed the Kojima Wonderland but some well timed Lariats from Kondo put the match in his favour. Kondo received a free bathing ticket from the match sponser for winning the match. Kondo said he heard rumours about how good To-y is and he was impressed with him today. If this show happens again next year he would like to have a rematch. To-y said he had a dream where he fought Kondo and lost. He also lost the real match today. That means the next time they fight will be the third match and it will be third time’s the charm for To-y to beat Kondo!

The BZW Tag Team Titles were defended in Japan for a second time when MAO & Yoshihiko put them on the line against a determined CDK. The tag champs were put in mortal danger when Chris Brookes choked both of them with the rubber strap and hung both of them from the ropes over the ring apron. He also did the stretch band attack with Yoshihiko still attached, launching the doll into MAO. But Yoshihiko landed on Brookes with a dive and gave Masahiro Takanashi a Canadian Destroyer. Takanashi kicked out of the Somato so MAO & Yoshihiko combined their powers to give him the Double Rainmaker for the victory. MAO said the team is ready to defend the belts in BZW again and will be going to Belgium next motnh. He heard BZW is running a show in Las Vegas during WrestleMania week so he & Yoshihiko can be there too. Takanashi was disappointed he didn’t win the title because he wants to go to France. That made Brookes wonder wouldn’t it be better if they won the titles in France instead of Japan?

It is in the bucket list of every Osaka wrestler to take part in a Kuishinbo Kamen Vs Kikutaro match with Yukinori Matsui as the referee. Sadly for Takeshi Masada none of them wanted him to be part of it. Whenever he tried to take part in their spots they either ignored him or shoved him aside. Masada had to fight them properly but ended up getting a DDT from Matsui. That caused Kamen and Kikutaro to figure out it is much more fun to fight Matsui so they attacked him. Matsui fought them off, knocked them down with a Double Lariat and gave Masada a Facebuster on top of them. Masada was left on top of the pile so Matsui counted the pin, making Matsui the winner.

Plans for an ALL OUT reunion fell apart for one reason or another but a Konosuke Takeshita did show up as advertised. Shin Konosuke Takeshita made a grand entrance along with Shin Don Callis, ready to take part in a 3 Way Match against Shin Shunma Katsumata (who looks an awful lot like Yuni) and Akito (who actually really was just Akito). Callis disappeared midway through the match which is exactly when Shin Yuki Iino did a run in spot. He stayed around to help Shin Takeshita pull off her big moves like the German Suplex and the Raging Fire.

A bunch of people booked for Match #2 pulled out of the show for various reasons. Danshoku Dieno was busy minding his pet dog Haku and didn’t want to leave him, Fuminori Abe needed to exorcise his demons at a waterfall and Yukio Naya was recently banned from saunas for having bad manners. So Kazuma Sumi was put in the ring with the sauna fairy Naya Tonttu to fight Sauna Oyakata (Dieno) & Sauna Kobun (Abe). However Tonttu felt the room was too cold so he abandoned Sumi early in the match. He eventually returned when Sumi called for his help it was not enough for them to win the match.

Shinya Aoki put Keigo Nakamura to the test with a challenging singles match. Nakamura got some moments by moving Aoki from a European Clutch into a Gedo Clutch but once he tried to target Aoki’s foot, Aoki reversed course and worked over Nakamura’s leg. Nakamura then put him in the Full Nelson and repositioned it into a Camel Clutch to make Nakamura submit.

At the end of the show MAO encouraged To-y by telling him they will continue to defend the KO-D Tag Team Titles as many times as they can. He called for any team to come out and challenge them. Suddenly Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura walked down to the ring. MAO thought they were hear to challenge him & Yoshihiko for the BZW Tag Titles. Nope, Astronauts are answering the call for a KO-D Tag Titles match! Abe also revealed that there is only one Toy in wrestling who they answer to and it is Yuki Ishikawa (because his real first name is Toyohiko). MAO wants to be in top condition for the match so everyone agreed it will take place at DDT’s 28th Anniversary show on 20th March.

Also at the end of the show Shunma Katsumata had an announcement to make. MAO kept guessing it was Katsumata’s retirement. Thankfully it is not. Katsumata will be returning to the ring on 20th March! He’s been out of action since November with a torn ACL in his left knee.

At the start of the show Yuki Ueno greeted the audience and told them he is currently feeling fine. He is unable to wrestle this weekend after being examined for hematuria symptoms.

Ueno will be unable to wrestle until then so he will not be in action for any of this weekend’s shows. He is allowed to attend some of the events though so he will be at the venue to greet the fans.

Ueno will be replaced by Takeshi Masada on tomorrow’s show. He was chosen because he is from Osaka so he should be able to fit in with Kuishinbo Kamen and Kikutaro.

DDT “DDT GOES LAS VEGAS!”, 18/04/2025
Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

1. Special Single Match: Antonio Honda Vs Santana Jackson
2. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Timothy Thatcher

I get the feeling that even though DDT’s Las Vegas show this year will be nothing like the usual DDT card, it’s still going to end up becoming one of the most unique shows of the entire week. The second match announced sounds like something out of “BLOODSPORT” because Shinya Aoki is going to fight Timothy Thatcher! DDT is expecting this to be a submission heavy match between two specialists of the style.

Endo Loses National Title In NOAH, Takeshita Defends NEVER Title In NJPW

February 12, 2025

Yesterday two of DDT’s biggest exports were both involved in title matches for different companies. Let’s see how they got on.

NOAH “STAR NAVIGATION PREMIUM ~NOAH JR. TAG LEAGUE 2025~”, 11/02/2025

5. GHC National Title: Manabu Soya defeated Tetsuya Endo (c) with the Dando (12:20).
*Tetsuya Endo fails in V1. Manabu Soya becomes the 15th GHC National Champion!

Well that puts a dampener of Tetsuya Endo’s heel turn. Not long after he won the GHC National Title and joined TEAM 2000X he loses it back to Manabu Soya in the rematch. In the preview matches coming up to this bout, Endo taunted Soya by telling him the result would be the same and his family would get so fed up by Soya’s failure they would abandon him! However Soya was determined to reclaim his championship even if he had to overcome a damaged elbow to do so. He also got help from the RATEL’S unit to fend off interference from TEAM 2000X. With the fight now evened out, Soya went on to beat Endo and win back the National Title.

Endo blamed the loss on the referee’s pin count but will not dwell on it for long. He is already missing the sweet voice of a NOAH championship and does not intend to return to DDT empty handed. He has long stay in NOAH ahead of him and when the time comes for him to go back home, he will bring a souvenir for DDT back with him.

6. NEVER Openweight Title: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA (c) defeated Oleg Boltin with the Raging Fire (11:33).
*V3 for KONOSUKE TAKESHITA.

Fortunes fared better for Konosuke Takeshita over in New Japan. He put the NEVER Openweight Title on the line against Oleg Boltin in a rematch from last year’s G1 Climax. This time Takeshita was able to survive the Kamikaze Drop and use a Front Neck Lock to sap the life out of his opponent. Boltin was unable to kick out of the Raging Fire after that. Backstage Takeshita said he was thankful to Boltin ever since the G1 match because losing to him only made Takeshita stronger. He looks forward to a third and final showdown to happen some day.

Takeshita quickly found out who is next to face him for the title. Ryohei Oiwa approached him after the match. He said it would be interesting to see Takeshita’s worldwide wrestling style line up against Oiwa’s Japanese only style (Oiwa famously never went on the traditional overseas excursion every young lion goes through). Takeshita warned him that a world class wrestler like himself is very strong.

6. Presented By Kintaro Sushi Shinobazu Branch – Moeka Haruhi Debut 20th Anniversary Match: Hanako Nakamori defeated Moeka Haruhi with the Hatenko (16:07).

Moeka Haruhi celebrates the 20th Anniversary of her debut match this week and fought one of her PURE-J opponents Hanako Nakamori. Even though Haruhi lost the match, Nakamori spoke glowingly about her afterward. She heard Haruhi credited her for becoming a stronger wrestler but the truth is it’s quite the opposite. Nakamori promised she will continue to look up to Haruhi as a rival because that’s the kind of friend she wants to be. Haruhi thanked everyone for coming to the show when there are so many other options nearby for them to spend their time today. She also thanked the referee Tommy for doing so much to help her throughout her entire wrestling career. Haruhi will always do what she wants for herself but whenever she does something for someone else she will work 100 times harder. For that reason she wants to be the kind of person who makes everybody want to work hard together.

A press conference was held by DDT today to promote the D GENERATIONS CUP final. It was there when Takeshi Masada and Yuya Koroku were told that the final is going to main event Korakuen Hall! The surprise completely threw Masada off guard because up until now he had everything calculated and going to plan. The final being moved to the main event wasn’t part of those calculations. He tried to play it cool and still thinks he will win and move on to challenge Chris Brookes for the KO-D Openweight Title. Koroku does not care who the KO-D Champion will be if he wins the final and gets the title shot instead.

Super Sasadango Machine takes Iino’s place in the Pheromones reunion match. That means the 3 Way Match he was originally booked for is now just Kazuki Hirata against Antonio Honda.

In the meantime he wants to see Kamino become even stronger to lead BASARA forward. They can also start teaming up again because it’s been a while since Aijin Tag last had a tag match together. Ryota Nakatsu then climbed into the ring. He praised Kamino for his victory but can also sense just how much Kamino loves himself. It’s enough to overshadow his love for BASARA and the MAX Title. Nakatsu however thinks his own love for BASARA and the MAX Title is clear to see so he wants the next title shot. Kamino accepted the challenge and the match will happen on 2nd March.

Today was the final match of Sento Minzoku as a unit. It was a 6-Man Tag match with the three active members all teaming together while Minoru Fujita was in their corner at ringside. After they beat Asian Kung Fu Revolution, all four members posed for the fans, laid their towels down on the canvas and all removed their monkey tails to place on top of the towels. Isami Kodaka then officially declared Sento Minzoku has disbanded. Backstage he said his desire to promote BASARA has not changed and he will continue to find ways to make it more exciting. Ryuichi Sekine said because he had reliable partners looking over him he was able to do whatever he wanted during his time in the unit. He will use that experience to step up in the future. Daiki Shimomura wonders if he would have been able to grow as he did if he never joined the unit and worn the tail. He thanked the others for teaching him so much. Fujita felt like he was able to become a part of BASARA thanks to Sento Minzoku. The unit disbanding does not mean he will be leaving BASARA. He’ll be back from his break eventually.

*V4 for 121000000.

One day after Kyoraku Kyomei won the Max Heart Tournament in Japan, 121000000 were over in Chile defending the Princess Tag Team Titles as part of a mini Tokyo Joshi Pro event held at the AEX Santiago convention. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh had gotten the message from the No. 1 Contenders that they would be banned from coming home to Japan if they lost the titles to their Chilean opponents. It was a hard fought match but the champions can rest easy knowing they will be welcomed back home because they knocked out Pandora with the Headbutt/Knee Kick combo and Yamashita then pinned Sara Phoenix with the Skull Kick. The result confirms that 121000000 will be the defending champions against Kyoraku Kyomei at “GRAND PRINCESS ’25” on 16th March.

Aja Kong was one of the special guests for the wrestling show. Her opponent Roma fought from beneath for most of the match but had a big chance when she stopped Kong from doing a Diving Elbow Drop and instead Superplexed her from the second rope. However Kong threw Roma aside with a Back Drop Driver and knocked her senseless with the Uraken. The ref stopped herself from counting to three, thinking there was a kickout but Roma was down and out so the ref went back to completing the three count.

Chile did find success in one match when Casey fought against Moka Miyamoto. Too bad that Casey’s behavior meant she wasn’t the fan favorite in the match. She instead took shortcuts like stomping on Miyamoto in the corner and grabbing Miyamoto’s hair to escape the Rashomon. She also had a backpack at ringside, took something out of it and threw the item across the ring to distract the ref. The distraction worked and she hit Miyamoto over the head with the backpack. It must have been loaded because it knocked Miyamoto out long enough for her to be pinned.

The other special guest for the event was the mascot Chiitan☆ coming to interrupt Itoh’s introduction at the start of the show. Armed with an inflatable mallet, Chiitan☆ attacked Itoh and caused her to cry. Itoh got revenge by grabbing the mallet and fighting back with it. That then caused Chiitan☆ to cry. The two made up and decided to have a Cute Off contest which Itoh won.

-. Keigo Nakamura (2)
-. Yuki Ishida (2)

B Block

1. Yuya Koroku (4)
-. To-y (4)

4. Yuni (1)

MAO successfully protected his home region against the heavyweights thanks to some help from Yuki Ueno. He was in a lot of trouble when Yukio Naya hit him with three Knee Lifts in a row. Luckily for him, Ueno reached out from the apron and grabbed his hand to block Naya from pulling off The World’s Best Back Drop. MAO then hit Naya with a few Whirlwind Kicks before finishing him off with the Iai Kick. He said if the result went the other way then Miyagi would have gotten a new “Burning” ambassador in the form of Yuki Iino instead. MAO thanked the fans for supporting DDT, noting that the amount of tickets sold on the day made DDT add another two rows of seating before the show began. He announced DDT’s next show in Miyagi will take place on 4th May. He would like to go back to his hometown of Osaki City but is waiting to find an opponent even better than Minoru Suzuki to make it an even bigger show.

The block stages have come to an end and we now know the two men heading to the D GENERATIONS CUP final. Last year’s winner To-y has fallen at the last moment, losing to Yuya Koroku. Both wrestlers hit dives on each other and Koroku countered the Kojima Impact into the Chickenwing Arm Lock to make To-y tap out. That means Koroku advances to the final thanks to the head to head rule! This is the second time such a scenario has prevented To-y from reaching the final so he has grown to hate the rule. Koroku said he has lost many kinds of matches to To-y over the last couple of months but today he got his revenge by advancing to the finals at To-y’s expense.

Meeting Koroku in the final on 23rd February is Takeshi Masada who defeated his hated enemy Ilusion. That match featured a ref bump and a lot of cheating from Ilusion but Masada overcame the threat to win. Ilusion is trying to throw dirt on Masada’s win by blaming the the referee. He only lost because of the ref and the entire DDT organisation doesn’t want him to reach the final! Masada said everything is still going just as he calculated, even when the unexpected get in the way. When wants to win the Cup and then go challenge Chris Brookes for the KO-D Openweight Title.

The third DGC match on the show had a slim chance of influencing Block B. If Kazuma Sumi won this match and Ilusion had beaten Masada then there would have been a 3 Way tie that had to be decided with a sudden death 3 Way Match. Instead Sumi fought Yuni to a 15 minute draw, ending whatever chance Sumi had left of reaching the final. Both wrestlers were exhausted by the end of the match and Shunma Katsumata had to check on his fellow NωA Jr. members afterward.

Due to illnesses to both Akito and Yuki Ishida, Match #4 ended up becoming a 3 Way Trios match between DAMNATION T.A, SCHADENFREUDE International and a briefly reunited D.O.A. However hours before the show began, Danshoku Dieno sat himself down in front of the only restroom available for the wrestlers backstage out of protest. He wasn’t going to get back up until the match had the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles on the line. Both Makoto Oishi and Kazuma Sumi ended up joining the protest (Sumi was just because he badly needed to use the restroom) so DDT eventually caved into the demand. DAMNATION T.A ended up winning the 3 Way Match and now have the record for most 6-Man Tag Title defences in a single reign.

The race towards the D GENERATIONS CUP final his getting tighter as more wrestlers gets eliminated from contention. But not everything is set in stone yet. Takeshi Masada defeated Keigo Nakamura to take the lead in Block A and knock Nakamura out of the running. Elsewhere in the group Yuki Ishida avoided losing all of his matches by beating Ilusion in his final bout. Ilusion knocked out the ref before the match began so he could attack Ishida with chairs. Ishida fought back with Sumo Chops and revived the ref so the match could begin. He then used a Sumo Slap to smash a chair right back into Ilusion’s face before pinning him with the Flame Palm. Block A will now come down to Masada against Ilusion tomorrow. Over in Block B Yuya Koroku kept himself alive by beating Yuni. His match with To-y tomorrow will determine who will go through to the final.

At the end of last month Chris Brookes said he had a list of ten wrestlers who were being considered for the next KO-D Openweight Title shot happening on 20th March. Today he gave an update, telling fans the list has been cut down to five. However he wouldn’t say who is in the list or who was cut off.

Akito was pulled off the show due to illness. Tomomitsu Matsunaga replaced him for Match #4.
