5. Yuka Sakazaki AEW Triumphant Return Match: Yuka Sakazaki & Hikari Noa defeated Miyu Yamashita & Marika Kobashi when Sakazaki pinned Kobashi with the Magical Merry-Go-Round (11:56).
6. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Shoko Nakajima defeated Miu Watanabe with the Locomotion Northern Lights Suplex (12:27).
7. Tokyo Princess Cup – Semi Final: Maki Itoh submitted Mizuki with the Itoh Deluxe (18:39).

The entire tournament was building up to this match. The fated rematch between the original Itoh Respect Army. On the one side was Mizuki chasing after the Tokyo Princess Cup three-peat. On the other side was Maki Itoh, still recovering from a fractured cheekbone but wanted this match more than any other. She targeted Mizuki’s waist, damaging it enough to make the Itoh Punish even more painful. Mizuki was able to free herself with a rope break but struggled to get the strength to stand back up. The damage dealt proved cost worthy because Mizuki also couldn’t hold the bridge when she did the Cutie Special, allowing Itoh enough recovery time to kick out of the regular cover. Itoh blocked another Cutie Special and knocked Mizuki down with a Headbutt. Looking up to the sky, Itoh applied the Itoh Punish once more and made Mizuki submit!

The two shook each other’s hands after the match while Miyu Yamashita and Yuka Sakazaki looked on. As Mizuki was leaving, Itoh called to her saying she has become stronger thanks to her. Her tearful expression immediately turned into a happy one once Mizuki was gone. She wondered how many fans think she is all talk and no results? Even she thinks this is too much of a happy ending than she is used to. But she is certain she will win the final tomorrow and prove that happy endings do exist!

Meeting Itoh in the final is perhaps the woman with the strongest attachment to the Princess Cup. For the fifth time Shoko Nakajima makes it to the final! Miu Watanabe caught her in a Bearhug and turned it into the Blooming Giant Swing that she started using during the tournament. She also blocked the 619 with a Baseball Bat Swing. Things looked bad for Nakajima until she countered the Tear Drop into a Hurricanrana. She gave Watanabe the Northern Lights Suplex then rolled over to hit another one to get the win. Nakajima said she will win the final tomorrow because her current form is the strongest Shoko Nakajima in the history of Shoko Nakajima!

Sakazaki returns from AEW and wasted no time stepping in the ring with Yamashita again. Some teamwork with Hikari Noa put Yamashita in danger until Marika Kobashi got a blind tag. Yamashita gave Noa a German Suplex and Kobashi joined in with a Jackknife for a combo pin attempt. Sakazaki broke the pin using the Magical Girl Splash. Sakazaki then powered out of the Front Neck Lock and pinned Kobashi with the Magical Merry-Go-Round for the victory. Backstage Sakazaki said something she learned from her AEW tour was how to adapt during a match without losing her rhythm, like wrestling through commercial breaks for example.

NEO Bishiiki-gun are back to full strength thanks to the aid of the unit’s doctor Yukio Saint Laurent. Meanwhile Antonio Honda didn’t know what he was getting into. At one point he suddenly told everyone to stop the match. He was feeling pain but not from the wrestling moves. The pain was in his appendix. Saint Laurent examined him with a stethoscope but is was a trap and Honda yelled into it. Honda later faked a knee injury to set up Gongitsune but Mei Saint-Michel deflected it with her tray and Pom Harajuku got hit with it instead. Saint Laurent then injected his medicine into Honda but all it did was make him feel good. Both teams got into dueling Knuckle Punches with Honda’s team ending it with Bionic Elbows. Rika Tatsumi gave Sakisama the Twist Of Fate and Harajuku followed up with the Pom Do Justice for a nearfall. Sakisama recovered and suddenly put Harajuku in the Versailles Foot Choke to win in the end. After the match Saint-Michel said she would like to team up with NEO Bishiiki-gun’s other maid, Martha.

The visitor Aja Kong was given a warm welcome by the Tokyo Joshi Pro Aja Kong fan club! All the other wrestlers in the match had faceguards covered in Kong’s facepaint designs. Hyper Misao gave Kong a custom steel can and her very own superhero cloak that serves as proof she is a hero to so many people. Everyone then stood together for the group photo until Misao sprayed Kong in the face, revealing it was a trap all along! Misao then found out Kong was too heavy to lift and she now had to fight an angry Aja Kong. The fun and games were over but not for long. Kong’s mood improved and she joined in the Good Night Express with Raku & Haruna Neko. She climbed the ropes until she was stopped by Nodoka Tenma hitting her in the backside. Misao & Tenma tried to knock Kong down and needed Yuki Kamifuku to help pull it of. Kong was finally stopped with more spray from Misao. In the end, Kamifuku won it for her team by beating Neko. Each member of the winning team had their own descriptions of Kong. Kamifuku said Kong’s skin is as thick as an elephant she saw at a zoo. Tenma said Kong is like a big stuffed gorilla toy she had when she was a baby. Misao said Kong is like a turnip that cannot be pulled out of the ground.

Suzume wrestled in a new costume that looks more bee-like than the previous. She made a good day even better by getting the three count on Moka Miyamoto while Arisu Endo got rid of Mirai Maiumi.

The opening match saw Kaya Toribami hit Yuki Aino with a Rolling Sole Butt only for Aino to fire back with the Side Suplex. With the two of them cancelling each other out, Nao Kakuta was able to beat Mahiro Kiryu with the Shiden Kai.

Yuki Arai’s first match in Nagoya is a big enough deal to main event the show because Nagoya is the home of SKE48. She will team with her mentor Miyu Yamashita against Yuki Aino & Moka Miyamoto. Another SKE48 member Shiori Aoki will be on commentary for the match.

Maki Itoh suffered a fractured left cheekbone in her Tokyo Princess Cup Quarter Final match. It will take two to four weeks for it to heal but she will definitely wrestle on 14th August. She will miss this Saturday’s show though.

The semi final draw was held and the matchups are confirmed. Itoh is confident she will be fully healed in time to face Mizuki in the main event. Overcoming the pain is what makes Itoh stronger and this is the opponents she wants more than anyone else. Mizuki is aiming for the three-peat and has never lost to Itoh before. Winning this match will give her the confidence she needs to win the final 24 hours later. Miu Watanabe is now four years into her pro wrestling career and has fallen in love with it. She also revealed the idol she looks up to most is Mayu Watanabe from AKB48. Her opponent Shoko Nakajima reaches the final four once again but she isn’t taking it for granted. Tokyo Joshi Pro has grown so much over the years that it motivates her to be the best again.

Yuka Sakazaki has her first match back in Japan since coming home from the latest AEW tour.

A few other return appearances brings the Rika Tatsumi Vs NEO Biishiki-gun feud back to life. Yukio Saint Laurent and Antonio Honda get involved again. The only difference is instead of a zombie we get Pom Harajuku.

In a press conference today the participants of both title matches got to speak. The KO-D Tag Team Titles match will be Yusuke Okada’s first championship shot in DDT since he signed with the company. Jun Akiyama is looking forward to teaming with his student and trusts him enough to let him do his stuff. Shunma Katsumata is determined not to lose the titles in his first defence. He also wants to pin Akiyama again like he did at the Ultimate Tag League. His partner Konosuke Takeshita said he will focus on Akiyama because he can rely on Katsumata to win the match if it comes down to him. The match serves as a clash of different wrestling styles and philosophies. Takeshita says there is no correct answer for pro wrestling that applies to everybody. Akiyama disagrees because he thinks the Giant Baba style that he learned has all of the right answers. Baba’s way is the correct way and the proof is in Akiyama being the current KO-D Openweight Champion.

The Olympic atmosphere in Japan has inspired Shinya Aoki to defend the DDT Extreme Title against MAO in a Hardcore Judo match. Aoki and MAO aren’t sure themselves what the rules are in a Hardcore Judo match but they are excited to do it.

It is a match Yuna Manase originally wanted at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” but it never came to be. She wants a singles match against Saki Akai so much she crashed a DDT show to demand it. Akai doesn’t have any strong feelings about her opponent. She remembers the year she debuted people online were hoping the two of them would team together but other than that they are from completely different parts of the wrestling scene. Akai recently wrestled in Ganpro and felt everyone there has passion but it went away very quickly. If Manase’s fire is red then Akai’s fire is blue and that is much more hotter.

1. Yukio Naya & Yuki Iino defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Yuya Koroku when Iino pinned Koroku with a Lariat (9:35).
2. Playfulness Series Act 3: Danshoku Dieno Vs Hideki Okatani ended in a No Contest (5:19).
3. Yukio Sakaguchi, Akito & Yusuke Okada defeated Soma Takao, Yuji Hino & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Sakaguchi pinned Shimatani with the God’s Right Knee (8:17).

Beer Garden 2021 came to a close with the usual end to DDT’s tradition, a Fan Lottery 6-Man Tag Match. Members of the audience randomly picked the spots for each team and we ended up with Jun Akiyama, Konosuke Takeshita & Tetsuya Endo all on the same side. Any visual sign of tension disappeared when Endo came out dressed in his old wrestling gear and encouraged the others to reform Happy Motels for one night. Akiyama had to play the role of Antonio Honda in this case. The opposing team was Yuki Ueno, Kazusada Higuchi & Naomi Yoshimura. All of them came from the DNA generation so they paid tribute to the old brand by wearing DNA shirts and walking out to the DNA theme song. Akiyama played the part of Honda well by tripping onto his knee and doing the Bionic Elbow with his partners. The three of them worked so well they won the match with Endo getting the pin on Yoshimura.

After the match Endo said Beer Garden is all about having fun so he encouraged Akiyama and Takeshita to let go of their rivalry for the day. He also apologised to Takeshita for cheap shotting him at last year’s Beer Garden finale. Takeshita and Akiyama both agreed to get along but things will go back to normal when they fight each other for the KO-D Tag Team Titles on 15th August and the KO-D Openweight Title on the 21st. Endo also promoted his DAMNATION team defending the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles on that day too. They all raised their hands together to end the show… and then Endo Headbutted Takeshita. Endo stormed off backstage and stripped out of his old costume embarrassed that he had to act so nice towards Akiyama & Takeshita today.

Chris Brookes didn’t want to team with Keigo Nakamura so he purposely joined the other team to make it a 3 Vs 1 Handicap match. Brookes entered the ring with The 37KAMIINA but Nakamura begged him to team up as planned. Brookes agreed to do it but still helped Shunma Katsumata & MAO do some triple team spots. Brookes eventually took the match seriously but it wasn’t enough for them to win. Katsumata & MAO hit the Power Bomb/Blockbuster version of MADMAX (apparently any double team move involving Katsumata jumping off the top rope is called the MADMAX) on Nakamura to get the win. Afterwards Katsumata told MAO he found out Jun Kasai’s weakness. He doesn’t like stepping on Lego so they’re going to use them against him at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021”!

Daisuke Sasaki was pulled from the show on short notice because he might have been in close contact with somebody who recently tested positive for the Coronavirus. The Drunk Match was cancelled and HARASHIMA was moved over to the Rock & Roll Death Match. There was another replacement as Antonio Honda suffered from love sickness and had to be replaced by A.YAZAWA in a rare appearance. Everyone in the match got drunk and danced whenever music played. YAZAWA and Saki Akai did karaoke. A recording of Shuji Ishikawa singing caused Mad Paulie to dance. Everyone fell asleep until Swan Lake played and they all did ballet together. YAZAWA then rolled over Kazuki Hirata to win the match.

Eruption once again got the better of DAMNATION once again in their latest preview match, this time with Yusuke Okada teaming with them. Yuji Hino was already drinking and decided to wrestle in his normal clothing. When he put Akito in a Sleeper Hold he flipped off the rest of his opponents. Eventually he got drunk and when he went to do the Diving Body Press off the top rope, he landed on Nobuhiro Shimatani instead of Yukio Sakaguchi. Hino needed Soma Takao’s help to get out of the ring and while that happened, Sakaguchi pinned Shimatani with the God’s Right Knee.

An accidental bump of heads between Danshoku Dieno and Hideki Okatani during the opening of the show led to them swapping bodies before their match. Dieno walked out wearing Okatani’s gear while Okatani ran out in Dieno’s costume acting just like him. Another clash of heads seemed to turn them back to normal. Dieno was himself again and he chased after Daisuke Kiso. However Okatani didn’t change and he got his hands on Yukinori Matsui. That officials had to call of the match as things got out of hand.

Sanshiro Takagi paid a lot of cash to repair the Dramatic Dream so he is going to get his money’s worth! He brought it out for the opening match, crashed into the combined centaur form of Yukio Naya & Yuki Iino and then crashed into his own partner Yuya Koroku. Iino then hit a Lariat on Koroku to take the win for his team.

The most important match of the week, nay, the month took place in the pre-show. It was the DDT GM Hisaya Imabayashi against the Tokyo Joshi Pro GM Tetsuya Koda in the latest chapter of their never ending one sided rivalry. Imabayashi was spurned on by phonecalls of his increasingly disgruntled wife while Koda showed a more evil side to his wrestling abilities. Sadly for Imabayashi he fell to the Sleeper Hold and as a result won’t be welcomed back home by his family.

Midway through the show, Dieno & Iino confronted Imabayashi demanding to be made into a full time tag team. They kept coming up with sexual innuendos for team names like Osu Academy, The Wizard Of Osu and Will Osupreay. Imabayashi told them he will agree to their demand once they come up with a better tag team name.

Earlier today on the Ganbare☆Pro show, Yuna Manase made it known that she wants a match against Saki Akai. She crashed the DDT show along with Ken Ohka to challenge Akai directly. It is a match she wanted to have at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021” and when that never happened it’s been bothering her ever since. Akai accepted the challenge and wants the match to happen in Fukuoka on 12th September. Manase said Ganpro already has a show in Itabashi that day but Ohka encouraged her to go do it. Manase offered to shake hands but Akai left her hanging.

Voice actor Tetsu Inada will be making appearances at the Hiragana Muscle shows in September.

6. Shunma Katsumata Produce – Hardcore 4 Way Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata and MAO when Takeshita pinned Katsumata with a Rolling Cradle (19:26).

Day 2 of Beer Garden had The 37KAMIINA all face each other in a Hardcore 4 Way Match. Tables, ladders and chairs were placed around the ring for them to use but each wrestler brought out their own weapons too. MAO brought out a massage gun and homemade shield, Yuki Ueno had training equipment, Konosuke Takeshita had a bat covered in toy blocks and Shunma Katsumata had a plastic box full of toy blocks inside. Since this match was put together by Katsumata he asked the others to join him in a chair duel. They did so but the other three later put Katsumata through a table. MAO also put Ueno through a plastic box and chairs with an Avalanche Package Piledriver. Katsumata threw his boxes at everyone and filled the ring with toy blocks. He gave Takeshita a Hurricanrana onto the pile but Takeshita continued the momentum and rolled his opponent into a pinning combination for the win. After the match Katsumata had to call the rest of the unit back into the ring so they could close out the show together. He asked each of them what they thought of the match but cut off every answer so he could say how awesome he is. He then listed all of the championships The 37KAMIINA are fighting for next month. They will become the central stove of DDT and will turn the company into a sauna!

Makoto Oishi was in attendance to watch Junretsu face MEN’S Club in his produce match. Yusuke Okada won the match in Oishi’s place but Oishi insists he is not his substitute. Despite that, he gives his support to Okada to win the KO-D Tag Team Titles with Jun Akiyama next month. He also wants to book Akiyama versus MEN’S Teioh in a singles match after their first time meeting today. Both Akiyama and Teioh joked that Oishi shouldn’t be booking singles matches between two wrestlers over 50.

The CyberFight Concurso was a chance for DDT’s bodybuilders to strut their stuff in their underwear. That idea was almost ruined when Tetsuya Endo pinned Gorgeous Matsuno in under a minute. Hisaya Imabayashi told Endo to restart the match because Matsuno is his dad’s friend. The match began again, they repeated the spot and this time Matsuno kicked out. However Matsuno then gave Low Blows to everyone in the ring, causing the match to get thrown out. A winner had to be determined so everyone decided on a pose off. They also forced Imabayashi to take part in it. The audience voted for the winner and they chose Imabayashi!

DAMNATION met their mirror opposites when Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Super Sasadango Machine showed up as IyasareNATION! Brookes was Chrisma Brookes, Honda was Mad Anton and Sasadango was Yoshihiro Hino. That last one made Yuji Hino laugh. In a reversal, Mad Paulie took Honda’s comedy spot and told his own Gongitsune joke through grunts. He also got the pin on Honda to win in the end.

The 3 Way Match ended in a 5 minute draw so Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Naya and Naomi Yoshimura decided on a sumo tournament to settle on a winner. Higuchi was the first person to win twice in a row so he was determined the winner.

Every now and then Soma Takao reminds everyone he is influenced by CIMA. He did it here by beating Keigo Nakamura with the Perfect Driver.

Yuki Ueno got a measure of revenge by pinning Daisuke Sasaki in the main event. However he was too polite for his own good and his request for Sasaki to hand him back the DDT Universal Title was ignored. DAMNATION left ringside with Sasaki still holding the belt. Ueno didn’t let that bother him and he promised to take the belt back on 21st August.

We’re still a month away from “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021” but Konosuke Takeshita is already showing signs of wear and tear. He had his shoulder taped up for his latest match against Jun Akiyama. On a lighter note, Yuya Koroku is still trying to fit in with The 37KAMIINA by doing their sauna pose. Yusuke Okada also did his part filling in for the injured Makoto Oishi.

Eruption looked a little bit different today. Yukio Sakaguchi wasn’t there so Kazuki Hirata saw an opportunity to take his place. He dressed like Sakaguchi and tried to fight like him too. But the temptation to use the Hirata GO! glasses was too much to handle and he wore them to dance. Saki Akai got fed up and gave him the Quetzalcoatl, leaving the other team to pick up the pieces and take the win.

The wrestlers in the first two matches all decided for themselves to do the match they want to do. So both Antonio Honda Vs Yuki Iino and Danshoku Dieno Vs The Intelligent Sensational Grand Passion Mask #4 never ended and we got Honda & Iino against Dieno & Passion Mask instead. Unfortunately they also all wanted to wrestle in their underwear so the impromptu match was called off after Passion Mask was stripped of both his mask and his underwear.

Today Tetsuya Endo was fighting for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles, for DAMNATION and most importantly of all for the pride of Shiroishi City! The match came down to him and MAO fighting on the top turnbuckles. MAO tried to set up the Avalanche Michinoku Driver II. Endo instead hit the Tetsuya In The Sky With Diamonds for a nearfall. Endo then did the Shooting Star Press for the three count. The tourist ambassador for Shiroishi wins in his hometown!

While Endo bragged about “banishing” The 37KAMIINA from Shiroishi, Eruption entered the ring led by Saki Akai. She challenged DAMNATION for the 6-Man Tag Titles to determine which unit is the best. Endo would accept on the condition that Eruption can never step foot in Shiroishi again if they lose. Yuji Hino was confused to see a woman challenge him but Endo liked the challenge and accepted it. Hisaya Imabayashi decided the title match will take place at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021”!

The pairing of Konosuke Takeshita & Antonio Honda was a mini Happy Motels reunion. Honda worked over Makoto Oishi with a Cobra Twist. Takeshita then caused great damage to Oishi after he threw him away from a Tornado DDT attempt. Oishi was in bad shape from that point onwards and remained lying on the apron after he tagged out to Jun Akiyama. Honda missed the Gongitsune and hit Takeshita by accident. Akiyama then cleaned things up and pinned Hona with the Exploder. Oishi seemed to have an injured back coming out of the match and had to leave ringside on a stretcher.

Akito & Kazuki Hirata entered their match wearing their own Danshoku Dieno wrestling costumes. They later ditched the costumes and danced wearing Hirata GO! glasses. That lowered their guard for Dieno & Yuki Iino to make their comeback and win.

4. Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada defeated Hideki Okatani & Yuya Koroku when Okada submitted Koroku with a Crab Hold (12:01).
5. HARASHIMA, Chris Brookes & Naomi Yoshimura defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Yuki Iino when Brookes submitted Iino with the Octopus Stretch (11:49).
6. The 37KAMIINA Vs DAMNATION!: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao, Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie when Ueno pinned Paulie with the BME (20:07).

In a slight reversal of recent fortunes, Yuki Ueno picked up the win in the main event. However, Daisuke Sasaki got away with the DDT Universal Title still in his possession. Ueno promised to get his belt back and also promised The 37KAMIINA will beat DAMNATION for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles tomorrow. Backstage Shunma Katsumata said the unit will show they can get results without needing Konosuke Takeshita on their team. MAO said he will embarrass Tetsuya Endo in his own hometown. When Endo later heard that, his message to MAO was to not say Shiraishi City’s name without his permission! DAMNATION will win and make sure The 37KAMIINA will never step foot in Shiraishi ever again!

Antonio Honda’s antics were enough to convince Tetsuya Endo to join in the fun and do his own Honda mannerisms.

Yukio Naya showed up at the start of the show complaining about being left off the card. When Match #2 took place, Demonio Uno went out of control attacking everybody and forced the match to get cancelled. The mascot Pokotan appeared for the first time in ages to stop him and the match restarted as a 4 Vs 1 Handicap match. Uno couldn’t handle being outnumbered and was unmasked reveal it was Naya all along!

I can’t remember if HARASHIMA is a happy drunk or not. He shouldn’t be following Sasaki’s habits, that’s for sure.

The biggest feud in wrestling that nobody ever talks about, and for good reason, is back for another year. The DDT GM Hisaya Imabayashi takes another swing at the Tokyo Joshi Pro GM Tetsuya Koda. Just don’t embarrass yourself again, Imabayashi.

Yesterday Makoto Oishi made Shunma Katsumata submit and then demanded a KO-D Tag Team Titles shot. He is the leader of Junretsu so Akiyama has to go along with another big title match against Takeshita just one week before he defends the KO-D Openweight Title against him.

Speaking of double titles, Shinya Aoki now holds the DDT Extreme Title and the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. He has to defend both but he is busy falling for scams and losing his savings in the process. MAO was chosen to be his next opponent.

In news that makes zero difference to us non-Japanese speakers, the DDT Extreme Title has been renamed to… the DDT Extreme Title. In Japanese they are changing the name from DDT EXTREME級王座 to DDT EXTREME王座. So they’re just getting rid of 級 which means weight class or grade. I and everyone else always ignored that bit for the Extreme Title so nothing changes for us. While I’m at it I’m going to stop typing UNIVERSAL in upper case for the DDT Universal Title so I can keep things consistent.

Sasaki keeps getting quick wins over Ueno, all thanks to kicking him in the groin. Ueno wants to fight Sasaki in a clean match for once but he also realises this is just who Sasaki is. With that said, Ueno feels the need to defend the Universal Title no matter which version of Sasaki shows up. Sasaki accepts the match but warns that the humiliation he keeps putting him through is not good for Ueno’s career in the long run.

You are not reading the list wrong, there are currently two Match #1s. Since there will be two wrestling rings set up on site, DDT decided to put two singles matches that will both take place at the same time, one in each ring. There was not enough space on the card to do Toru Owashi Vs Antonio Honda and Danshoku Dieno Vs Kazuki Hirata one after the other so this was the compromise.

Two new debuts will take place on the show as part of a secret project DDT has been putting together. The DDT Teenage Project is a new class of young pro wrestlers that have been training in DDT’s dojo. The first two wrestlers to debut are El Unicorn (13) and Ilusion (18). There are two others currently in training and DDT are looking for more male students aged 15-18. DDT are still holding regular tryouts for new trainees over 18 alongside this project. This class is completely separate from DDT’s regular dojo training and the goal is to eventually launch a new sub-brand of wrestling shows for these wrestlers. El Unicorn stands out because his age is below the range allowed. There’s evidence out there suggesting who the kid will be under the mask. Not naming names but it’s obviously a certain kid DDT was already booking and training before the pandemic hit. Also Rekka on Twitter spoils it by pointing out the pun in El Unicorn’s name.

2. Tetsuya Endo, Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie defeated Akito, Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya when Paulie pinned Naya with the Reverse Splash (9:31)
3. Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai defeated HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & Keigo Nakamura when Akai pinned Nakamura with the Quetzalcoatl (10:41).

6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Yusuke Okada defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & MAO when Oishi submitted Katsumata with the Fujiyama Knee Lock (14:14).

The build up to “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021” took some extra twists and turns in Shinjuku FACE today. Makoto Oishi submitted Shunma Katsumata in the main event then asked him what kind of champion is he to lose like that? Oishi felt he deserved a KO-D Tag Team Title shot over the result and wants Jun Akiyama to team with him for it. The title match will take place on 15th August. That’s six days before “WRESTLE PETER PAN”. Konosuke Takeshita warned Akiyama that he is going to beat him in two title matches in the same week. Oishi is confident that Katsumata is the weak point of The 37KAMIINA. First Junretsu will beat him and then Akiyama will beat Takeshita.

Barring submission holds in the double title match proved to be a big task for Shinya Aoki to get through. He had to brawl with Chris Brookes around ringside using chairs and plastic cases. Back in the ring Brookes Power Bombed his opponent onto a bunch of chairs while Aoki later put him through a table with a Piledriver. Aoki reminded everyone he is still a decent striker by breaking a case in Brookes’s hands with a High Kick. There was a scramble for pins and Aoki got the three count using the Dial Hold. After the match Aoki explained to everyone that he recently fell for a scam where he gave somebody a million yen for the promise of receiving two and a half times that amount back four months later. He doesn’t have time to think about who to defend both the DDT Extreme Title and Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title against. Not when his life has been ruined! He asked Hisaya Imabayashi to find him a “sexy” opponent like Keigo Nakamura. That was turned down so he asked for MAO instead. MAO accepted the challenge and the double title defence will happen on 15th August.

In a repeat of what happened at King Of DDT, a referee distraction led to Daisuke Sasaki giving Yuki Ueno a Low Blow and pinning him in a quick match. Afterwards Ueno asked Sasaki why does he never fight fair? Still, a loss is a loss and Ueno offered to put the DDT UNIVERSAL Title on the line against him. Sasaki warned Ueno not to do that because he is a future star who recently pinned Kaito Kiyomiya. Losing to Sasaki again would only humiliate him further. Ueno pushed for the title match and Imabayashi booked it for “WRESTLE PETER PAN”. Ueno and Sasaki shook hands afterwards. Sasaki then kicked Ueno below the belt and left the ring with the title belt in his hands.

Eruption won their match today but Saki Akai was left feeling unsatisfied. She stopped Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi from leaving and asked them about regaining the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. Sakaguchi asked if Akai really is ready to face the current champions in DAMNATION. Akai slapped Sakaguchi in anger and then slapped Higuchi too even though he never said anything. She told them chances don’t fall by the wayside in today’s DDT. If Sakaguchi & Higuchi aren’t going to take the lead then she will do things her own way! She stormed off, leaving the other two confused in the ring.

The opening match had no winners because Antonio Honda and Kazuki Hirata both hit Daisuke Kiso with their deadly strike moves by accident. Those two along with Danshoku Dieno and Toru Owashi all argued after the match. They all started challenging each other to main event matches at “WRESTLE PETER PAN” until Imabayashi told them all to shut up. He explained that there are not many spots left for singles matches at the show. Only one match can be made. Hirata suggested they can do two singles matches at the same time because there will be two rings set up in Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki. Imabayashi thought that is a great idea and booked Owashi Vs Honda and Dieno Vs Hirata for DDT’s first (and probably last) ever Double Ring Double Singles Match!

Sanshiro Takagi announced his prized Dramatic Dream Mobile had to be sent for repairs after “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021”. It will return in complete condition on 30th July so Takagi is having a special match for it. He will face HEAT-UP wrestler and competitive cyclist SHINGO in a match where all attacks involving bikes are legal!

A secret project was revealed for the first time. The DDT Teenage Project trained four teenagers into becoming pro wrestlers. The first two wrestlers will make their debut at “WRESTLE PETER PAN”. They are El Unicorn (13 years old) and Ilusion (18 years old). They will both be wrestling in masks and concept art of their costumes were shown.

Mizuki Watase announced his return match will happen on 15th August. He has been out of action since February with an arm injury.

1. Toru Owashi & Yusuke Okada defeated Danshoku Dieno & Yuki Iino when Okada pinned Iino with a School Boy (9:25).
2. Yokohama Two Major Singles Match: Akito defeated Kazuki Hirata when Daisuke Kiso submitted Hirata with a Cross Knee Lock (9:27).
3. Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Shunma Katsumata & Yuya Koroku when Sakaguchi submitted Koroku with a Triangle Choke (11:07).
4. Yokohama Two Major Singles Match: Mad Paulie defeated Antonio Honda by TKO with a Bear Hug (11:17).
5. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Yuji Hino defeated HARASHIMA, Chris Brookes, Naomi Yoshimura & Yukio Naya when Sasaki submitted Naya with the Cross Facelock (16:31).
6. Junretsu Vs The 37KAMIINA!: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno & MAO defeated Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Hideki Okatani when Takeshita submitted Okatani with the Modified Chickenwing Facelock (17:44).

The first preview for “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021” saw Konosuke Takeshita get the better of Jun Akiyama. But it was Hideki Okatani who stepped up to The 37KAMIINA until he got overwhelmed. Takeshita had to praise him for his incredible growth after the match. The 37KAMIINA celebrated their win by saying they will get more championships. Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata won the Ultimate Tag League and became the KO-D Tag Team Champions shortly after. Yuki Ueno has the DDT UNIVERSAL Title and next they will win the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles so MAO will get a belt too. Last but not least, Takeshita wants to complete the plan by winning the KO-D Openweight Title from Akiyama in Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki.

Antonio Honda used Gongitsune to trick Mad Paulie into thinking it was his dad. It worked too well because even after Honda tried rolling up Paulie for a nearfall, Paulie still believed it. Honda jumped into a Bearhug and was squeezed into unconsciousness. Paulie carried his “father” out of the ring back to the locker room to see if he was ok.

Kazuki Hirata mimicked Akito in their match, wearing similar ring gear and copying some of his moves. He went back to normal by knocking out both Akito and Daisuke Kiso with chops to the neck. Akito turned the tables by putting on the Hirata GO! glasses to dance. The referee Kiso then attacked Hirata’s leg and put him in a Cross Knee Lock. Hirata tapped out and Kiso awarded the match to Akito.
