1. Hokkaido Specialty! Abashiri Outdoor Tag Match: Danshoku Dino & Royce Isaacs defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Hirata Collection A.T. when Isaacs submitted Takagi with the Miracle Ass Stretch (10:48).
*Royce Isaacs wins Sanshiro Takagi’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
2. Toru Owashi, KUDO & Tomoya defeated Soma Takao, Makoto Oishi & Shunma Katsumata when KUDO pinned Oishi with the Diving Double Knee Drop (9:33).
3. Keisuke Ishii defeated Koji Yoshida with a Tiger Suplex (8:41).
4. DAMNATION Vs Shuten-dōji!: Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Endo pinned Takanashi with the Shooting Star Press (9:52).
5. Smile Squash Vs DNA!: HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano defeated Kouki Iwasaki & MAO when Urano pinned MAO with the Tombstone Piledriver (14:13).
6. DDT Extreme Title Match – No DQ Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) defeated Antonio Honda with La Mistica Cross Facelock (22:53).
*V2 for Daisuke Sasaki.
7. KO-D Tag Team Titles Decision Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Shigehiro Irie defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Akito when Higuchi pinned Akito with a Nodowa Bomb (24:41).
*Kazusada Higuchi & Shigehiro Irie become the 61st KO-D Tag Team Champions!

A pair of YaroZ are now the KO-D Tag Team Champions! The titles were up for grabs after the champions New No Fear had to vacate the belts because of Yoshihiro Takayama’s cervical injury. The original challengers ALL OUT were now against the team of Kazusada Higuchi & Shigehiro Irie. ALL OUT’s momentum was cut short when Higuchi countered Akito’s Omoplatta into a Nodowa Bomb for the three count. Nobody was happier with the result than Irie, who hugged Amon Tsurumi when he was presented with the title belt. Konosuke Takeshita tried to sweep away the result by lifting up his KO-D Openweight Title belt to Higuchi but he then shook his hand and left the ring. Irie was quick to ask for the first title defence to take place at a YaroZ show. Tsurumi couldn’t agree to it because he already signed off on their challengers. Higuchi & Irie will defend the titles in Sendai on 11th June against HARASHIMA & Soma Takao. Irie is fine with that because it means he and Higuchi both get to beat up some BOYZ.

The DDT Extreme Title match was No DQ and both Daisuke Sasaki and Antonio Honda took advantage of the stipulation. Hair pulling, closed fist punches, crowd brawling and chair attacks were all on display. Sasaki also had help from Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie. Honda did what he could to fight them off but was beaten down with chair shots from Sasaki. Honda kicked out of the pin after a Diving Elbow with the chair but finally gave up when Sasaki flipped him into the Cross Facelock. Sasaki admitted that his motivation to wrestle has gone away ever since his title defence with Dick Togo. But his match with Honda today has fully ressurected his Charisma! And in even more good news for DAMNATION, Sasaki reported that Shuji Ishikawa won the Triple Crown over at All Japan today!

Yasu Urano suffered a bloody mouth from his match today but it was only a minor setback as he scored the winning pinfall for Smile Squash. Although he is quitting DDT to become a freelancer he promised that Smile Squash will last forever. Soma Takao changed the subject somewhat and asked if he and HARASHIMA should use a new name for their team. He thinks HARASHIMA and Urano are Smile Squash, not HARASHIMA and himself. Takao suggests that they get a new name and go back to Smile Squash whenever Urano comes back to visit DDT.

The latest victims of Royce Isaacs’s Miracle Ass were Sanshiro Takagi’s arm and Hirata Collection A.T.’s glasses. Hirata fainted from shock after witnessing his glasses get snapped in half. That left Isaacs free to damage Takagi’s arm and kept it trapped in his tights while he applied a Cobra Twist. Takagi gave up and Isaacs now has his Right To Challenge Contract.

1. Sanshiro Takagi & Hirata Collection A.T. defeated Shunma Katsumata & MAO when Hirata submitted MAO with the Hirata Lock (8:13).
2. Makoto Oishi & Saki Akai defeated Mad Paulie & Heidi Katrina when Akai pinned Katrina with the Rookie Award (7:05).
3. Danshoku Dino & Royce Isaacs Vs Toru Owashi & Shigehiro Irie ended in a No Contest (8:40).
4. Antonio Honda & Keisuke Ishii defeated Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo when Honda pinned Sasaki with the Diving Fist Drop (14:59).
5. ALL OUT Vs DNA!: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Kouki Iwasaki when Takeshita pinned Higuchi with the Surprise Rose (13:55).
*Konosuke Takeshita wins Kazusada Higuchi’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
6. Smile Squash Vs Shuten-dōji!: HARASHIMA, Soma Takao & Yasu Urano defeated KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Urano pinned Takanashi with the Tombstone Piledriver (22:01).

Yasu Urano is picking up steam on the way to his KO-D Openweight Title shot. Today he scored the victory for Smile Squash over Shuten-dōji. But it was a bitter sweet result for Urano. This was his final match against his longtime friends and rivals as a DDT contracted wrestler. Urano was originally invited by KUDO to wrestle in DDT a decade ago and for that he will always be grateful. He is also inspired by Yukio Sakaguchi who showed him that you are never too old to try something new. Last but not least he respects Masahiro Takanashi for making up for his lack of size and power by working hard on his techniques.

The Right To Challenge Contracts took an unexpected turn when the KO-D Champion himself Konosuke Takeshita got his hands on one. Takeshita used his new Wrist Clutch Fisherman Buster to pin Kazusada Higuchi and take his gauntlet. We found out afterwards that the move is called the Surprise Rose. Akito kept asking Takeshita if he could have the RTC Contract because the champion shouldn’t need it. Takeshita kept telling him no because he knew Akito would just cash it in on him immediately. When that was settled, ALL OUT announced they will be revealing a new member of the team at the 28th May Korakuen Hall show.

Today didn’t go so well for Daisuke Sasaki. He also lost to Antonio Honda for the first time in their current series of matches. Sasaki brought in a chair after a referee bump but Honda stopped him with a Low Blow and the Scorpion Death Drop. Honda then hit the Diving Fist Drop for the finish. If that wasn’t bad enough, Sasaki also went through some women problems earlier in the show. I’ll get to that later.

The International Gay Factory’s antics were so out of control during their match with Toru Owashi & Shigehiro Irie that it ended in a No Contest. Danshoku Dino grabbed the arms of anyone from ringside from referees to wrestlers to even the GM Amon Tsurumi. Dino would grab their arms and use Royce Isaac’s Miracle Ass to break them until NωA came down to stop them. Makoto Oishi told IGF that he cannot forgive them for their actions.

Sasaki was caught red handed doing his fake translations of Heidi Katrina’s promos. After Saki Akai pinned Katrina in their tag match, Akai wanted to put an end to their feud and team up together. This time Tetsuya Koda gave the proper interpretations to Katrina and she was furious to find out Sasaki was lying to her the entire time. Sasaki kicked Koda away but the damage was done and Katrina attacked Sasaki with Akai’s help. She then accepted Akai’s offer to team up.

Masahiro Takanashi attacked Hirata Collection A.T. after the opening match. Sanshiro Takagi decided to join in by stomping his buddy because he felt like it. Takanashi demanded a singles match with Hirata at Korakuen. Amon Tsurumi decided they will get a tag team match instead. Hirata suddenly announced his partner for the match will be Daiki Shimomura’s cousin from Italy. Shimomura didn’t know he has a cousin from Italy. He was even more confused when Hirata said the cousin’s name is Hiranito Collection A.T. but whatever, he’ll go with it.

1. Toru Owashi & Hirata Collection A.T. defeated Keisuke Ishii & Masahiro Takanashi when Hirata submitted Takanashi with the Hirata Lock (7:56).
2. 3 Way Match: Mike Bailey defeated Tetsuya Endo and Makoto Oishi when Bailey pinned Oishi with a Switching Cradle (9:27).
3. Hell Gate Of The Idol Challenge: Danshoku Dino defeated Shunma Katsumata with the Gotch-Style Danshoku Driver (11:15).
4. KUDO & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Soma Takao & Kouki Iwasaki when Sakaguchi submitted Iwasaki with a Cross Armbreaker (11:12).
5. Daisuke Sasaki & Mad Paulie defeated Antonio Honda & Shigehiro Irie when Sasaki submitted Honda with La Mistica Cross Facelock (17:04).
6. Tsukuba Specialty! Gama Oil Selling Special 3 Way Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated HARASHIMA & Yasu Urano Vs Kazusada Higuchi & MAO when Urano pinned MAO with the Tombstone Piledriver (14:34).

Yasu Urano confirms that he will be cashing in his Right To Challenge Contract on 28th May, filling in the spot originally left for Yoshihiro Takayama before he was injured. Urano is aware that Sanshiro Takagi and Nobuhiro Shimatani could spoil his plans with their own cash ins. But the bigger threat is coming from Kazusada Higuchi. With Takayama out of action, Higuchi thinks he can take his place in the Korakuen Hall main event. Urano tried to make him reconsider by bringing up next week’s DNA show. Higuchi will be facing Mike Bailey in the main event and Bailey has beaten him before. Urano asked Higuchi over and over if he is sure he won’t lost his contract before 28th May. Higuchi is convinced he won’t lose to anyone. Urano then said that he was told by Takayama himself to cash in the title shot on 28th May. So Urano struck a deal. If Higuchi lets Urano have the 28th May title match then Higuchi can cash in his shot at the June Korakuen show. Higuchi is confident he will still have his contract by then so he agreed.

Daisuke Sasaki shoved the referee into Antonio Honda to stop him from hitting the Diving Fist Drop. He then kicked Honda below the belt and locked in La Mistica Cross Facelock. Sasaki did come up with a stipulation for his upcoming DDT Extreme Title defence against Honda but forgot it after a hard night’s drinking. He hates Honda telling his fairytales during matches so maybe it has something to do with that.

KUDO acknowledges that both Soma Takao & Kouki Iwasaki are getting stronger but not at Shuten-dōji’s level.

The match between Shunma Katsumata and Danshoku Dino broke down when Dino knocked out the referee with a Lip Lock intended for his opponent. Dino took the chance to grab the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Title belt and use it as a weapon but Katsumata stopped him with a Dropkick. The rest of NωA came in to help Katsumata and triple teamed Dino until the referee recovered. Dino took all of Katsumata’s attacks then grabbed the belt again this time to distract the referee. Katsumata went for the Swan Dive X Factor but Dino caught him with the Lip Lock. He then hit the Gotch-Style Piledriver to win the match.

Mike Bailey thinks beating Makoto Oishi is an easy task. But he still wants to fight Tetsuya Endo again.

Hirata Collection A.T. revealed the name of his invisible dog. He calls it Wan-chan which I think is the Japanese equivalent of just naming it Doggy. Hirata submitted Masahiro Takanashi for the third time in a row. Takanashi is so frustrated by this that he wants a singles match with Hirata and banish him from Japan! Takanashi has an awkward history with Italian wrestlers in DDT. If that’s not enough Takanashi also wants to prohibit all of Kazuki Hirata’s relatives from entering Japan to stop any more replacements coming in.

4. HARASHIMA, Soma Takao & Yasu Urano defeated Yoshihiro Takayama, Kazusada Higuchi & Shunma Katsumata by TKO (12:45).
*Yasu Urano wins Yoshihiro Takayama’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract.
5. Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Antonio Honda & Mike Bailey when Sasaki submitted Honda with the Cross Facelock (12:55).
6. DDT Megaton Class One Match: Mad Paulie defeated Shigehiro Irie with the Reverse Splash (6:04).
7. Toyonaka Special Product! Crocodile Panic Special Tag Match!: Konosuke Takeshita & Akito defeated Danshoku Dino & Keisuke Ishii when Takeshita pinned Dino with the German Suplex (13:26).

ALL OUT celebrated their first victory in Osaka. Akito was pleased that they were able to directly beat Danshoku Dino. They also sent their well wishes to Yoshihiro Takayama who was taken to hospital after an accident in his match. Konosuke Takeshita wants Takayama to come back from his injury in fighting form so they can have their KO-D Openweight Title match. Dino told ALL OUT that Takayama has “No Fear”.

The battle of big boys ended in an upset with Mad Paulie defeating Shigehiro Irie. Neither wrestler held back and they both went into the match wanting to hit the knockout blow as soon as possible. That ended badly for Irie when he missed a Corner Splash and got hit by one from Paulie afterwards. Paulie then got the pin with the Reverse Splash. Irie was left stunned by the result but he says it isn’t over between them.

Antonio Honda continues to have no motivation as he prepares for his DDT Extreme Title match. His attempts at telling the story of Aladdin to Daisuke Sasaki didn’t work. Sasaki threw the referee at Honda and then took him down into the Cross Facelock for the victory.

Takayama injured himself after attempting a Sunset Flip on Yasu Urano, landing on his head. He could not move afterwards so the match was stopped and declared a TKO win for Urano’s team. Takayama was stretchered into an ambulance and taken to hospital afterwards. He was still conscious and able to speak in the meantime. As for Urano, he was awarded Takayama’s Right To Challenge Contract because of the match result. He asked HARASHIMA if he was going to cash in his own contract anytime soon. HARASHIMA said he was still thinking about it. Urano mentioned that he is free on 28th May. One thing’s for sure, when the DDT show at Korakuen Hall that day is over Urano will leave with either his RTC contract or the KO-D Openweight Championship!

Hirata Collection A.T. introduced himself to the DDT fans. He came to Japan so he could be an active part of the wrestling scene. He also wants “to make a buongiorno with everybody.” Masahiro Takanashi didn’t take to Hirata and threatened to send him back to Italy. Hirata suggested that their tag match be fought under Italian Rules where no tags are needed to switch partners. Just like yesterday, Hirata used his 2007 glasses to power up and submit Takanashi. He also put Yukio Sakaguchi in the Paradise Lock to prevent him from saving Takanashi. Sakaguchi was so mad that when he was freed he immediately chased after Hirata.

1. Shuten-dōji Vs T2Hide!: Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi & Hirata Collection A.T. defeated KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi & Masahiro Takanashi when Hirata submitted Takanashi with the Hirata Lock (7:40).
2. Smile Squash Vs DNA!: Kazusada Higuchi & Kouki Iwasaki defeated Soma Takao & Yasu Urano when Higuchi pinned Urano with the Doctor Bomb (11:59).
3. Idol And Gay Tag Match: Danshoku Dino & Royce Isaacs defeated Makoto Oishi & Shunma Katsumata when Isaacs pinned Katsumata with the Zenith (11:30).
4. Daisuke Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo & Mad Paulie defeated Antonio Honda, Mike Bailey & Keisuke Ishii when Sasaki pinned Honda with the Sasaki Hurricanrana (13:01).
5. Nagoya Specialty! Miso Cutlet Single Match: HARASHIMA defeated MAO with the Somato (15:21).
6. Nagoya Specialty! Miso Stew Special Tag Match: Yoshihiro Takayama & Shigehiro Irie defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Akito when Takayama pinned Akito with the Running Kneelift (17:39).

Yoshihiro Takayama was happy to beat ALL OUT without needing Danshoku Dino on his team today. Having Shigehiro Irie more than made up for it. Irie took out Konosuke Takeshita with the Traffic Accident Tackle so Takayama could put the boots in to Akito. Takayama said he wasn’t part of a championship team today but they still won.

MAO put up a spirited fight against HARASHIMA but couldn’t put the veteran away. He had the Somato scouted and countered the move with a Cradle but HARASHIMA kicked out. Another Cradle was blocked, leaving MAO defenceless. HARASHIMA caught him with a Buzzsaw Kick and this time hit the Somato to win. MAO is pleased with the opportunities he has been getting. In the last few months he’s had matches with HARASHIMA, KUDO, Yukio Sakaguchi, Dick Togo and coming up soon TAKA Michinoku in DNA. He wants to hit the Alien Plancha perfectly on TAKA.

Daisuke Sasaki was the better man against Antonio Honda today. Even Honda admitted he wanted to give up when his first lock up with Sasaki ended in failure. The only thing that kept Honda motivated was the story of Cinderella because he had thought about it the night before. However Sasaki came out on top when he countered the Bionic Elbow with the flash Hurricanrana for the three count. Sasaki called it a perfect victory because he didn’t break a sweat. He told Honda that he will have to go extreme if he wants to win the DDT Extreme Title. None of this fairytale crap!

Royce Isaacs and his Miracle Ass are leaving a trail of broken arms in his wake. Dino had him demonstrate his power by using it to break Amon Tsurumi’s arm at the start of the show. Makoto Oishi was the next victim but two of his friends from the backstage staff volunteered to sacrifice their arms to protect him. Later in their match, Oishi tried to rescue Shunma Katsumata from suffering the same fate but Dino knocked him out with the Danshoku Driver. That left Katsumata helpless and Isaacs pinned him with the Zenith. Dino challenged NωA to a KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles Match on 28th May afterwards. Since Takayama is already in the KO-D Openweight Title Match, Dino is bringing in Keisuke Ishii to be the IGF’s third man.

With Kazuki Hirata no longer in the country, T2Hide went in search of somebody to replace him in the group. Early suggestions included Ultraman Robin and Mammoth Handa but they eventually found the perfect replacement. The new member is Hirata’s cousin from Italy, Hirata Collection A.T.! He had a successful debut match. Midway through he paused so he could put on a pair of 2007 shaped glasses and perform a catwalk strut. Masahiro Takanashi cut him off but Hirata then trapped him in the Hirata Lock for the victory. The move is just like the A.T. Lock but with added finger bending to add that little extra oomph. Takanashi was angry at losing to Hirata and threatened to find out who he really is in Toyonaka tomorrow.

7. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo ended in a Time Limit Draw (60:00).
*V2 for Konosuke Takeshita.

60 minutes wasn’t enough to separate Konosuke Takeshita and Tetsuya Endo. Both threw everything they could at each other. Endo even had some minor help from DAMNATION at times and it still wasn’t enough to win. When Takaeshita was about to give Endo the Cross Arm German Suplex at the 35th minute, Daisuke Sasaki distracted the referee so Endo could Low Blow Takeshita to escape the move. Then outside the ring Mad Paulie positioned himself on his hands and knees on the stage so Endo could Moonsault off of him onto Takeshita. Endo then wound the other end when Takeshita Suplexed him onto the ring apron. The match risked ending in a Double Countout until both the champion and challenger crawled back into the ring at the 19 count. Another Double Countout came close after a strike battle briefly knocked out both wrestlers. Endo hit the Shooting Star Press but Takeshita kicked out of it and clung on to Endo’s legs so he couldn’t climb the turnbuckles again. They both wound up on the top rope and Endo hit the Spanish Fly for a nearfall. Takeshita hit a Dragon Suplex, Lariat and busted out the Last Ride but only got a two count. In the final minutes of the match Takeshita went for the Cross Arm German again but Endo pulled out a Kasadora counter for nearfall. As the last few seconds counted down Endo put Takeshita in the Crippler Crossface but the bell rang to end the match. A draw means Takeshita is still the KO-D Openweight Champion but he wasn’t satisfied by the result. He and Endo had one more staredown that ended with Endo lightly slapping his rival then leaving ringside.

An emotionally drained Amon Tsurumi thanked Takeshita for having a great match. Takeshita petted him on the head and said as long as he is still champion he will keep Korakuen Hall full. The pleasant moment was interrupted when Yoshihiro Takayama strolled down to the ring wearing his Right To Challenge gauntlet. He called Takeshita an awesome champion. He’s impressed. But Takayama said that he is a former GHC, IWGP, NWF and Triple Crown Champion. He collects championships and now he is interested in getting the KO-D Openweight Title! When he said he wasn’t cashing in his title shot right now, Makoto Oishi and Nobuhiro Shimatani appeared at the stage entrance. Both were trying to sneak into the ring and cash in their contracts on an unaware Takeshita. Takayama spotted the two and scared them off. Takeshita asked Takayama when he wants his title match. It will happen in Korakuen Hall on 28th May! Takeshita promised Takayama that he won’t lose the KO-D Title until then and he hopes Takeyama will do the same with his RTC contract. If that wasn’t enough, Akito approached Takayama and provoked Takayama. Akito said when he began wrestling he admired Takayama but now he is just boring. He is also sick of seeing Danshoku Dino’s ass everywhere in DDT. Dino stood up for Takayama and argued with Akito. The result of this is New No Fear’s first KO-D Tag Team Title defence will be against ALL OUT on 21st May in Sapporo. Takeshita ended the show by saying although he did not beat Endo, he will settle that problem another day. Until then he will beat Takayama with a German Suplex that is even higher than the Everest German!

The Lip Lock was the gamechanger in the KO-D Tag Team Titles Match. First Dino used the move stopped Yukio Sakaguchi from doing the top rope Right Knee Of God to Takayama. He then gave Sakaguchi a Spider Superplex so he could adjust his posture into the Hell Gate pose. Masakatsu Funaki fought off Dino afterwards but he was still put in the Lip Lock by Takayama. The sight of the move distracted Sakaguchi long enough for Dino to give the Lip Lock to him. Takayama then grabbed Sakaguchi and pinned him with the Everest German. Takayama foreshadowed his Right To Challenge plans when he told Tsurumi after the match that he was too busy to defend the KO-D Tag Titles on the 28th May Korakuen show. Funaki said he won’t be challenging for the titles again until there are new champions. He figured the only way he and Sakaguchi can beat New No Fear is if they also turn gay which according to them is impossible.

Kazusada Higuchi made a big statement by pinning HARASHIMA to win his RTC contract in the special Worldwide Tag Match. With Shigehiro Irie (who entered the ring wearing a Panda mask as some sort of OI4K shoutout) on his side, the combined power was too much for HARASHIMA and Mike Bailey to handle. Higuchi used his strength to block a Reverse Hurricanrana and instead throw HARASHIMA into the turnbuckles. Irie then hit a Running Cannonball to HARASHIMA out of nowhere which gave Higuchi an easy road to hitting the Doctor Bomb. Higuchi explained afterwards that HARASHIMA is only familiar with the RTC contracts when he was the champion. He doesn’t know what it is like to defend the contracts, which is something Higuchi knows a lot. So that’s how Higuchi could beat HARASHIMA today.

Akito wrestled in new wrestling gear which has some oddly placed exposed sections in the hips area. He also added a Modified Omoplata to his arsenal and it is very effective. Soma Takao quickly tapped out to it.

With a little help from Mad Paulie, Heidi Katrina pinned Saki Akai in their first confrontation. Paulie squashed Akai with a Lariat in the corner while Daisuke Sasaki dove out of the ring onto the rest of Akai’s team. Katrina then dropped Akai with an Oklahoma Stampede and pinned her with a Leg Drop. Katrina say she will fight Akai again anytime, anywhere. Sasaki translated her promo and turned it into a more bunch of insults. Sasaki then claimed that Katrina called him kind, brave and masculine.

When NωA and T2Hide faced off there was a lot on the line. NωA were defending the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles and debuting their brand new song “ωe are the HERO”. T2Hide were fighting to prevent Kazuki Hirata from getting kicked out of Japan. Sanshiro Takagi & Toru Owashi sang Hirata’s entrance music but Hirata hated it because it wasn’t good enough to dance to. Everyone from NωA, T2Hide, the referee and even a bunch of other wrestlers all ganged up to stomp on Hirata for being ungrateful. Hirata summoned his music proper but was then pinned by Makoto Oishi. Hirata lost his RTC contract to Oishi and now he has to be deported from Japan! While he was dealing with this, Oishi was attacked by Danshoku Dino and Royce Isaacs. They broke his arm with Isaacs’ Miracle Ass then fled. When that was over with the rest of the roster said their farewells to Hirata and carried him away from ringside. Takagi ignored Hirata’s protests to congratulate him on his new beginnings. He then told the audience to please look forward to the next chapter of “Dr. Kazuki Hirata’s” adventures.

Before the 5 Way Match took place, Dino and Isaacs sent a warning to the rest of the competitors. Isaacs used his Miracle Ass to split a pair of chopsticks. Then when Ryuichi Sekine walked into the room Dino grabbed his arm and Isaacs broke it with his Miracle Ass. In the match itself Isaacs went on a streak of breaking arms that would make Penta el Zero M jealous. The streak was ended when Antonio Honda grabbed Isaacs’ arm, stuck it under his own shoulder strap and used his chest to pop the arm. He then pinned Isaacs with a Small Package to become the No. 1 Contender for the DDT Extreme Title. Nice guy Honda then popped everyone’s arms back into place after the match.

Yuki Ueno scored his first ever singles win in the dark match, pinning Daiki Shimomura with a Dropkick. Amon Tsurumi congratulated him afterwards.

DDT is creating a brand new set of championships. If you thought a 6-man Tag Team championship is overdoing it then strap yourselves in and make room for the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Championships! The first champions will be crowned at Sumo Hall on 20th August.

Super Sasadango Machine has recovered from his heart problems and will return to action on 28th May! Sasadango teams with Sanshiro Takagi to face Minoru Suzuki & Rocky Kawamura!

The Street Wrestling match to be held at the Tokyo Dome finally is finally going ahead. On 1st June, Sanshiro Takagi faces Minoru Suzuki and they are free to fight all over the Dome in what is pretty much an Empty Arena match. No fans, no crowds, just the two wrestlers and a cameraman filming the action live for DDT UNIVERSE.

Isami Kodaka will be leaving his job as manager for the Drop Kick Bar in May. Akito is the new manager and he hopes to run a bar that will be full of hospitality for its customers.

6. Happy Motels Final Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Antonio Honda & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Shuji Ishikawa & Tetsuya Endo when Honda submitted Sasaki with the Manjigatame (20:43).

It is all over for Happy Motels. With Konosuke Takeshita taking the throne as the top man in DDT, Antonio Honda felt it was time for everyone to move on. Their final match together with Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi included saw them victorious over DAMNATION. As an added treat it was Honda who scored the winning submission. He blocked Daisuke Sasaki’s Hurricanrana and countered it into a Dragon Suplex. When Sasaki kicked out Honda put him in the Manjigatame to make Sasaki tap. Honda said they would build a sexy statue of Hiroshi to celebrate the victory. He then said “April Fool’s!” Honda revealed that he came up with the idea of forming Happy Motel back when he saw Takeshita and Hiroshi wrestle each other. Hiroshi said he now feels lonely without Happy Motels but Honda reminded him that he is a pillar for BASARA and BASARA will always need him. Honda finished by saying even if they weren’t really a motel, they were still able to be happy and make others feel happy. They finished with a group pose and with that, Happy Motels have disbanded.

Something is going on with Akito, there is more to him leaving Smile Squash than just wanting a change in scenery. His match with Yasu Urano featured interference from Daisuke Sasaki and Tetsuya Endo. Sasaki gave Urano a Low Blow while Endo distracted the referee. Akito did not see it happen but still took advantage and pinned Urano with the Hanamasa. Urano offered a handshake after the match but Akito rejected him and stormed out of the ring. When Akito found out about DAMNATION’s interference he thought it was just an April Fool’s joke being played on him.

Yukio Sakaguchi and Yoshihiro Takayama continued fighting each other after the 3 Way Tag Match ended. Meanwhile Smile Squash are still adjusting to life without Akito. Soma Takao suggested that he and HARASHIMA go after the KO-D Tag Team Titles.

Royce Isaacs introduced himself to the audience at the start of the show. He wrestled in last year’s DNA Grand Prix and is happy for the chance to wrestle in DDT. He told the audience he will have exciting matches and they will not forget his name.

There is a change in plans for this year’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere challenge. Instead of a Battle Royal Ladder Match there will instead be five singles matches to determine who wins a contract. The matches are Akito Vs Kouki Iwasaki, Antonio Honda Vs Royce Isaacs, KUDO Vs Shigehiro Irie, Yoshihiro Takayama Vs Kazusada Higuchi and Keisuke Ishii Vs Yoshihiko. Each match will have a five minute time limit and if the time runs out the winner will be chosen by an audience vote.

7. Road To KO-D! Osaka Family Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Antonio Honda when Sasaki submitted Honda with La Magistral Cross Facelock (19:21).

DAMNATION defeated Happy Motels two days in a row with Antonio Honda again taking the fall. This time Honda was beaten by Daisuke Sasaki. Tetsuya Endo said it is a pity that Happy Motels is splitting up but he will not show such feelings to Konosuke Takeshita at their KO-D Openweight Title match next month. Sasaki said with Endo winning the KO-D Title, himself as the DDT Extreme Champion and Mad Paulie’s face suddenly turning red DAMNATION will control DDT!

The Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title went back and forth between Danshoku Dino and Joey Ryan before their match even took place. Both men were in the ring at the start of the show for the contract signing of the match. The ceremony kept getting sidetracked when Ryan gave pinned Dino with a School Boy and vice versa. Amon Tsurumi got angry because their signatures on the contract wound up getting smudged so he started breaking up the pinfalls. Ryan and Dino ignored him and continued chasing each other around the building. When it was time for their match to begin Ryan was the defending champion. They brawled over to the merchandise stand and threw boxes of shirts at each other. Shigehiro Irie, Makoto Oishi and Yuki Ueno all got caught up in the action. Ueno fought off Dino with a Dropkick while Oishi pulled the back of his shorts down on the top turnbuckle to assume the Hell Gate position. Ryan stuck a lollipop in Oishi, moved it over to Dino’s mouth and Super Kicked him. Then to add insult to injury Ryan pinned Dino with his own Danshoku Driver to stay as the champion. After the match Ryan said he is bringing the Iron Man Title with him to WrestleMania! He and Guanchulo (translating for him) pointed at the non-existent WrestleMania sign until Guanchulo rolled him over with a School Boy. Ryan kicked out, Super Kicked Guanchulo and ran away. Finally Oishi climbed down from the turnbuckle, pulled up his tights and bowed to the audience.

Yukio Sakaguchi thinks he has become to idle and that is resulting in his recent poor match record. There is still time for him to fix this problem before he and Masakatsu Funaki defend the KO-D Tag Team Titles against New No Fear.

Smile Squash are getting adjusted to life without Akito. A win over New Wrestling America helps a little. All three remaining members promised to work hard at keeping the unit together.

7. Road To KO-D! Yokohama Family Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Tetsuya Endo defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Antonio Honda when Endo pinned Honda with the Sky Twister Press (18:34).

There was a lot of surprising announcements coming out of the show. First and foremost is the end of Happy Motels! After losing to DAMNATION in the main event, Konosuke Takeshita and Antonio Honda were then attacked by Mad Paulie who is now sporting red facepaint. When DAMNATION left, Honda took the microphone and sadly asked if now was the time to disband Happy Motels. It was an idea he’s been thinking about since “JUDGEMENT 2017”. When Honda saw Takeshita use the Bionic Elbow en route to winning the KO-D Openweight Title, Honda felt something he had never experienced before and cried from the bottom of his heart. He thinks now that Takeshita is the champion it is time for both of them to move on. Takeshita doesn’t want the group to split but Honda convinced him it’s the right choice. Takeshita accepted it but asked that they bring in Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi for the group’s final match on 1st April.

New Wrestling America came out to “It’s A Small World” for their KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match. They then sat in the audience to watch NωA perform their entrance. A missed Super Kick from Joey Ryan hit Shigehiro Irie by accident and Makoto Oishi rolled Ryan over with the Tornado Clutch for the victory. NωA celebrated with an announcement that they will debut a new song on 29th April.

Yukio Sakaguchi had Danshoku Dino beaten with a High Kick but the referee was unconscious thanks to an earlier Lip Lock from Dino. With the ref down, Yoshihiro Takayama attacked Sakaguchi and helped Dino pin Sakaguchi with the Gaydo Clutch when the ref recovered. Sakaguchi was furious with the result.

Akito dropped a bombshell after Smile Squash won their matches for the day. Akito is leaving the group! He apologised for the sudden decision and Akito stressed that there was nothing negative happening in the unit that caused him to make this decision. He is leaving because he felt he was too comfortable in his current position and that sense of security is affecting his wrestling. He would rather take the risk and shake things up if it means he can get better. Yasu Urano was shocked by the news but left it up to the other members to decide. HARASHIMA respected Akito’s reasoning and allowed him to leave. Urano didn’t like the answer but Soma Takao agreed with them. Takao pointed out that when Team Drift broke up he was worried about his future but he used that fear as motivation and it led him to winning the AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Title. And with that, Akito left Smile Squash.

During the week Daisuke Sasaki asked any potential challengers for the DDT Extreme Title to send him a postcard explaining why they deserve a title match. He received five postcards, some sent in by civilians, but he rejected all of them. Amon Tsurumi then approached Sasaki with another postcard that was sent to the address of DDT’s old office. It was sent in by a Mr. Shigeki Sato from Odate. The crowd cheered because they knew who that was. It’s Dick Togo! Sasaki accepted Togo’s challenge and will defend the belt at DAMNATION’s self produced show in Shinjuku on 14th April.

6. BOYZ Being BOYZ Special 6-Man Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii, Akito & Kazuki Hirata defeated HARASHIMA, Yukio Sakaguchi & Makoto Oishi when Akito pinned Oishi with the Hanamasa (11:51).

Kazuki Hirata was intimidated by Yukio Sakaguchi’s presence in the main event. He hesitated to shake his hand before the match but eventually did so. Sakaguchi refused to let go until Hirata pulled hard enough to break it. He then angered Sakaguchi by calling him disgusting. Hirata quickly apologised to Sakaguchi’s hand and then tagged out.

Daisuke Sasaki struck Yuki Ueno below to belt behind the referee’s back to lead into the Cross Facelock finish.

The grudge between BOYZ and YaroZ continued when Nobuhiro Shimatani faced Antonio Honda. Pride was on the line because Shimatani felt it was his duty to defend his BOYZ home. Honda wasted no time getting into the ring to fight his opponent and he put him away with the Scorpion Death Drop followed by a Jumping Elbow Drop.

Masahiro Takanashi is continuing his streak of winning matches by countout. This time he was creative. He got Chinsuke Nakamura to act as his body double to distract Rekka during the ringside brawl. Rekka fell for the trap and by the time he realised he was attacking the wrong person, Takanashi Dropkicked him and rushed back to the ring in time to get the countout victory.

The BOYZ all wore peach coloured clothing during the opening introductions to celebrate the Peach Festival.
