BASARA “BASARA 303 ~UTAGE~”, 27/03/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi doesn’t appear to be available for the show. That means Judo Master gets called up for the first time in a while. Kaji Tomato is on the show too.

For the first time in 2026 BASARA will go back to the courtroom for a Turnabout Pro Wrestling trial. Ayato Yoshida will be stepping into stand as the defendant while Gouma Ryu and Banana Senga will argue their cases over him. What Yoshida is on trial for hasn’t been revealed yet.

DDT “DDT X MOP WRESTLE TOUR 2026 IN MITSUI OUTLET TAMA MINAMIOSAWA”, 28/03/2026
Tokyo Mitsui Outlet Park Tama Minamiosawa

1. MOP Tag Team Titles: X & X Vs X & X

A new business deal has been put together this year for DDT to hold wrestling shows at different Mitsui Outlet Park shopping centers. As part of this deal a new championship has been created to be exclusively defended at these shows. The inaugural MOP Tag Team Champions will be crowned at the first show being held at the end of the month. There will be at least two other shows as part of the tour happening in April.

DDT “DREAM LIGHTS ~HOW DO YOU LIKE DDT WEDNESDAY~”, 15/04/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

0. Dramatic Dark Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Ilusion
1. Special Single Match: YOH Vs Antonio Honda
2. DDT Extreme Title: To-y (c) Vs X
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs X

One of the memorable interactions that happened at last year’s Toru Yano Vs Super Sasadango Machine one match show was Antonio Honda and YOH bonding over a Gongitsune joke. YOH has a hatred of foxes going back to when he was bitten by one as a child but Honda got him to join in with telling the joke. Now almost one year later they will meet in the ring again, this time one on one against each other in a wrestling match!

DDT “YAMADA SUISAN CO., LTD. PRESENTS GATHERING! THE THREE UNAGI SIBLINGS! ~IN ONE POND~”, 19/04/2026
Kagoshima Shibushi City “Unagi Station” Special Venue

1. Gathering! The Three Unagi Siblings! ~In One Pond~ Special 6-Man Tag Match: Unagi Mask, Super Unagi Mask & Unagi Mask Woman Vs Aja Kong, Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda

DDT also has their sponsorship with Yamada Suisan going on for another year. The seafood wrestling storyline has taken a turn with the appearance of Unagi Mask Woman. She was said to be just a Yamada Suisan employee who wanted to become a pro wrestler but the real story is that she, Unagi Mask and Super Unagi Mask are all siblings who spent their lives near each other without ever knowing about it! The family needs to be a united force because Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda have formed an alliance with Aja Kong to wipe out the sea food loving wrestlers!

10. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ikuto Hidaka (0) Vs Ayato Yoshida (0) ended in a Draw (10:00).
11. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament – 3 Way Decision Match: Fuminori Abe defeated Yasu Urano and Ilusion when Abe pinned Urano with an Onryo Clutch (9:44).

Final Score

1. Yasu Urano (4)
-. Fuminori Abe (4)
-. Ilusion (4)
4. Ikuto Hidaka (3)
-. Ayato Yoshida (3)

Yasu Urano has been feeling ambitious lately. After holding two of his own shows last year built around multiple fall matches, he decided to hold a one day Iron Man round robin tournament. The theme was to include two wrestlers aged in their 50’s, two in their 30’s and one in his 20’s so the lineup became Urano (who had just turned 50 earlier this month), Ikuto Hidaka, Fuminori Abe, Ayato Yoshida and Ilusion. Every match in the round robin was a 10 minute Iron Man match with every winning fall scoring one point. At the end of tournament all of the match results were added up and the wrestler with the highest total score was the winner.

At the end of the round robin there was a three way tie for first place. Urano, Abe and Ilusion had all scored 4 falls in their matches while Hidaka and Yoshida were left with regret over ending the tournament in a 0-0 draw that put both of them out of the running. The ring announcer Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi revealed that a sudden death 3 Way Match would decided the winner of the tournament. With many three way spots and pin attempts tiring everybody out, Abe inadvertantly knocked out Ilusion with a Rabbit Punch aimed for Urano. That ended up working in Abe’s favour though because when he caught Urano in the Manjigatame, Ilusion wasn’t there to break the hold and Abe was free to turn it into a pinfall on Urano to be crowned the tournament winner.

5. Ueno Nordic Presents Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Pokotan (w/ Chris Bathooks, Naya Tonttu & Sauna Stones・Den)
6. Special Single Match: Minoru Suzuki Vs To-y

A rib injury from over the weekend has taken Daichi Sato out of action for around at least a fortnight. He will miss the next three DDT shows which means he should be back sometime after 22nd February. Yuya Koroku replaces him on this show.

DDT “REMBRANDT HIGHWAY SERIES 2026 ~AYU COLISEUM IN ATSUGI~”, 15/02/2026
Kanagawa Rembrandt Hotel Atsugi Grand Banquet Sagami

DDT “HYBRID PERFORMER 2026 ~KAISEI TAKECHI 2ND ANNIVERSARY~”, 22/02/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai Vs To-y, Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata & Yuni
2. Jun Akiyama, Makoto Oishi & Yukio Naya Vs Sanshiro Takagi, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Ryoma Tsukamoto
3. DAMNATION T.A Vs Harimao!: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion Vs Naomi Yoshimura, Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida
4. Special Tag Match: Shinya Aoki & Junta Miyawaki Vs Yuya Koroku & Rukiya

6. D GENERATIONS CUP 2026 – Final: Kazuma Sumi Vs Takeshi Masada
7. Kaisei Takechi 2nd Anniversary Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Kaisei Takechi

In the short history of the D GENERATIONS CUP we may get its first two-time winner. Takeshi Masada has a chance to win it a second time after being the first ever winner back in 2023. However Kazuma Sumi is riding a wave of momentum going into the final and seems to have more locker room support than the recently gone loner Masada.

Sumi being in the final rips apart my theory that he is the new member of Strange Love Connection.

Ryoma Tsukamoto makes an unexpected appearance to fill in for Daichi Sato.

Finally all four members of FANTÔMES DRAMATIC are all teaming together.

The match order outside of the main event has not been decided yet.

“URANO EN 3”, 24/02/2026
TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi

1. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Yasu Urano Vs Fuminori Abe
2. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ikuto Hidaka Vs Ilusion
3. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Fuminori Abe Vs Ayato Yoshida
4. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Yasu Urano Vs Ilusion
5. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ikuto Hidaka Vs Ayato Yoshida
6. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Fuminori Abe Vs Ilusion
7. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Yasu Urano Vs Ayato Yoshida
8. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ikuto Hidaka Vs Fuminori Abe
9. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ayato Yoshida Vs Ilusion
10. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ikuto Hidaka Vs Yasu Urano

Something extra BASARA related with a little bit of DDT there too. Yasu Urano is putting together a one day Round Robin tournament between himself, Ikuto Hidaka, Ayato Yoshida, Fuminori Abe and Ilusion. Urano chose that lineup because he wanted two wrestlers in their 50s, two in their 30s and one in his 20s. But here’s the catch. Every match is an Iron Man match, ten in total!

DDT “KO KO! YOKOHAMA BATTLE 2026”, 28/02/2026
Kanagawa Radiant Hall

1. DDT Extreme Title: To-y (c) Vs Yuki Ishida

The aftermath of the DGC group stages left To-y in bad humour because Yuki Ishida was partially responsible for him failing to win the A Block. That then led to To-y bringing up the time Ishida got drunk on a night out and To-y had to pay his tab of 40,000 yen. He figured out a DDT Extreme Title match between the two can settle the matter. If To-y wins then not only does he defend his championship but Ishida will have to pay him back the 40,000 yen!

GANBARE☆PRO “KINKI CHIHO NO ARU BASHO NI TSUITE 2026”, 01/03/2026
Osaka Hirano Community Hall

1. Sentaro Motojima Vs Sora Fujikawa
2. Moeka Haruhi & Fairy Nihonbashi Vs Kyusei Ninja Ranmaru & Hibiscus Mii
3. Mizuki Watase & Shota Kawakami Vs Yuto Kikuchi & Violence Dragon
4. Shuichiro Katsumura, Tsuyoshi Okada & YuuRI Vs Keisuke Ishii, Tyson Maeguchi & Yuna Manase
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga (c) Vs Ken Ohka & Hiroaki Moriya

More Osaka based wrestlers will be there when Ganbare☆Pro comes to town. Yuto Kikuchi, Violence Dragon and Sora Fujikawa are the male wrestlers added to the show. Also from outside of Osaka comes Tsuyoshi Okada, Kyusei Ninja Ranmaru and Hibiscus Mii.

Heading into the opening rounds tomorrow, Miyu Yamashita & Kaya Toribami have revealed the name of their tag team. Despite having different fighting styles they are both passionate about kicking opponents so they have decided to call themselves K!SS// (Kick Slash)!

DDT “SATURDAY CHINATOWN”, 17/01/2026
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. Danshoku Dieno, Antonio Honda & Akito Vs Kazuki Hirata, Takeshi Masada & Rukiya

4. D GENERATIONS CUP 2026 – A Block: To-y (2) Vs Yuki Ishida (2)
5. Special 6-Man Tag Match: MAO, KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) & Junta Miyawaki Vs Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Yuya Koroku
6. DAMNATION T.A Vs FANTÔMES DRAMATIC!: Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatani Vs Chris Brookes & HARASHIMA

While Yuki Ueno is out injured, the build up for his double title defence now rests on the shoulders of Chris Brookes and Daisuke Sasaki. There will be a contract signing ceremony for the title match taking place before the show starts so Ueno will be at the venue.

GANBARE☆PRO “NEW YEAR’S BLUES 2026”, 31/01/2026
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Yumehito Imanari & Keisuke Ishii Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) Vs Shinichiro Tominaga

Some real bad luck has come Munetatsu Nakamura’s way. He suffered a neck injury this week and was told by his doctor not to wrestle for the rest of the month. He won’t know if he can return to action in February until he gets a clearer diagnosis. Nakamura was meant to be the next challenger for the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title at the end of January but that now cannot go ahead. Shinichiro Tominaga stepped forward to face Masaaki Mochizuki for the title instead.

That led to another change on the show, one that needed to be made anyway because of someone else. Tominaga was meant to be in a 6-Man Tag but he is now moved up to the main event. Another person who was meant to be part of the 6-Man Tag is Takuya Wada but he had to cancel his current bookings with Ganbare☆Pro because of family reasons. The 6-Man Tag has now been changed into a regular tag match with the remaining wrestlers involved.

BASARA “BASARA 298 ~10TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW~”, 31/01/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Daichi Kazato Vs Ayato Yoshida
2. GRACE PROJECT Offer Match: Tomoya Hirata, Captain Grace & Violento Jack Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga
3. Ryuichi Sekine, Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino Vs Ryota Nakatsu, Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida
4. Isami Kodaka & Takeru Inoue Vs Minoru Fujita & Yasu Urano
5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Takumi Tsukamoto & Daiki Shimomura (c) Vs SAGAT & Lil’ Kraken
6. Union MAX Title: Shuji Ishikawa (c) Vs FUMA

The mystery opponent for Daichi Kazato is going to be Ayato Yoshida. The two have often been linked up for Yoshida’s appearances in BASARA lately. If the match somehow gets cancelled before then, Kazato fears they won’t get another chance to reorganise it because of the snap elections in Japan’s House Of Representatives that are suddenly due to take place soon. He might be a little crazy but he thinks things are going to get even crazier over there.

BASARA “BASARA 297 ~UTAGE~” Results

January 16, 2026

BASARA “BASARA 297 ~UTAGE~”, 16/01/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Takeru Inoue defeated Ryuma Sekimo with the Tiger Driver (9:09).
2. Ayumu Honda defeated Daichi Kazato with the Cross Armbreaker (8:50).
3. 3 Way Match: Tsutomu Oosugi (w/ Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi) defeated Ryota Nakatsu and Takato Nakano when Oosugi pinned Nakano with the Tsuki no Ishi (6:27).
4. SAGAT, Lil’ Kraken & Minoru Fujita defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Daiki Shimomura & Banana Senga when Kraken pinned Shimomura with the period. (11:58).
5. Shuji Ishikawa & Yasu Urano defeated FUMA & Masato Kamino when Ishikawa pinned Kamino with the Running Knee Lift (15:49).

In the build up to Shuji Ishikawa defending the Union MAX Title against FUMA at the end of the month, Ishikawa won today’s tag match and warned he can get even better for the title match because he was fighting a fever this week going into today’s show. He promised to play “Union Rocker” again when he defends the title but FUMA said he will play the song instead when he wins the belt from Ishikawa!

Lil’ Kraken claims that the Dropkick he took from Daiki Shimomura at the start of the match was so strong it made him lose sight in one eye but he was able to get revenge in the end by beating him. He said the Super Family will win the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles on 31st January and will send the current champions to the depths of despair. SAGAT said they will win by any means necessary but they won’t cheat. Takumi Tsukamoto admitted neither he or Shimomura are rich people but their spirits are still high. They think of themselves as a high-end supermarket like Seijo Ishii (even though Tsukamoto admittedly shops at My Basket). So instead of falling down the depths of despair, the champions will instead ascend to BASARA heaven!

Match #3 was changed from a tag match into a 3 Way because Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi suffered from a case of gout in his leg and was unable to wrestle. He originally told the others to do a 2 Vs 1 Match instead but Tsutomu Oosugi got mad at having to fight the other team by himself. Ryota Nakatsu and Takato Nakano kept targeting him anyway but Hiroshi interfered to help Oosugi win the match.

Daichi Kazato wanted to announce who his mystery opponent would be on 31st January. Ayato Yoshida’s music played on the speakers as the reveal but Kazato didn’t recognise it. He needed Ayumu Honda to tell him who it was based on the song. When Honda said it belongs to Yoshida, Kazato told him he doesn’t know who that is and left the ring while the song played again. Kazato took the announcement a bit more seriously backstage, saying this may be the only opportunity to do this match before the snap election in the House Of Representatives takes place and Japanese society gets even crazier.

At the start of the show Isami Kodaka confirmed he is returning from his absence on 31st January for BASARA’s 10th Anniversary show.

5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda defeated Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA (c) when Honda submitted FUMA with the Jumping Armbar (14:56).
*Hyakusho Ikki fails in V3. MJ2 become the 14th Iron Fist Tag Team Champions!
6. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Takumi Tsukamoto with the V Slider (23:26).
*V2 for Ryota Nakatsu.

It has been just under one year since BASARA last held a show at Korakuen Hall. Now under new management, today’s show is the next chapter for the company. Even though they did not announce an attendance number, the word going around from them and wrestling reporters is this was the biggest crowd they have ever had! The new president Ryota Nakatsu credited everyone involved with the show from those signed with the company to those who wrestle freelance for all of the hard work they did to promote it. The next goal Nakatsu has in mind is to sell enough tickets to open up the north side of Korakuen and then fill that up too. He also promised to openly talk about the positives and negatives happening in BASARA because there is no point in a company like this trying to look cool.

In the main event Nakatsu defeated the new sales manager Takumi Tsukamoto in his first defence of the Union MAX Title. Nakatsu said it felt amazing for both of them to be BASARA’s main focus today. Tsukamoto agreed and is a litle worried he may have lost his mind during the match because it felt so good. Nakatsu then promoted the next show on 20th August until he was interrupted by Daichi Kazato and Ayato Yoshida. Kazato climbed the turnbuckle and held onto a large rubber strap. Yoshida then pulled the strap back and snapped it back into Kazato’s face. Nakatsu was confused until Kazato explained that is his way of challenging him for the MAX Title.

Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA named themselves Hyakusho Ikki because they wanted to defend the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles a hundred times. They couldn’t even make it to three. Instead Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda are the new champions after Honda made FUMA submit to the Jumping Armbar. FUMA later told Sekine that they were sent back down to rock bottom but that just means it’s time to start preparing for the next harvest. The challengers brought along Naka Shuma and Kyu Mogami to be their cornermen because all four of them are part of a unit in 2AW called MJ2. But when Mashimo & Honda won the titles Honda (through Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi) told Shuma & Mogami that they weren’t needed anymore! Backstage Shuma & Mogami said it’s boring to just be cornermen so they decided maybe they will come liven up BASARA too!

The first appearance of El Desperado in BASARA had a little extra backstory to it involving one of his opponents. Masato Kamino took the New Japan entrance exam back in October 2012 where he gave up on the test halfway through. But he remembers the sight of Kyosuke Mikami watching him in the crowd that day. They were opponents today with Desperado teaming up with Isami Kodaka while Kamino was part of the Aijin Tag with Takato Nakano. Desperado ended up winning when he gave Nakano the Reverse Tiger Driver followed by the Pinche Loco. Desperado praised his opponents and would like for more fans to discover them. He thinks Aijin Tag would even win over NJPW fans if they were to ever wrestle over there. Kodaka said he would love to team with Desperado again because it would be a shame for them to stop after just one match. Nakano said it was a dream come true to fight a New Japan champion because his mother loves NJPW. His next dream is to beat El Desperado! Kamino called this match a milestone in his life and he will be starting again from here. Aijin Tag are now thinking about entering a Jr. Tag tournament to make a new impact.

1. Parka Contra Parka Match: Ayato Yoshida defeated Isami Kodaka with a Back Drop (32:08).

Isami Kodaka came up with an idea to do a one match independent show away from BASARA to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of his debut. He fought Ayato Yoshida from 2AW and they both decided to put their hoodies on the line so there would be a prize to fight for. Minoru Fujita was at ringside for the match and even got involved in the ring at points. But Yoshida ended up getting the clean win and possession of Kodaka’s ATDK hoodie.

BASARA “BASARA 271 ~HIEN~” Results

February 21, 2025

BASARA “BASARA 271 ~HIEN~”, 21/02/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Isami Kodaka & Takato Nakano defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Shota Kawakami when Kodaka submitted Kawakami with an STF (13:36).
2. Ayumu Honda defeated KUBITO with the Jumping Armbar (8:36).
3. Ayato Yoshida defeated Daiki Shimomura with the Revenge For Your Booing (13:13).
4. Ryota Nakatsu defeated Yuki Ishida with the V Slider (11:58).
5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA defeated Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura (c) when Sekine submitted Abe with the Let’s Combine (17:57).
*Astronauts fail in V5. Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA become the 13th Iron Fist Tag Team Champions!

With Sento Minzoku now in the rear view, Ryuiche Sekine has found new success for himself by joining forces with FUMA to win the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles! The pair of wrestlers have bonded over both being farmers away from the wrestling ring as well as having similar backgrounds in karate. Fuminori Abe tried to break down Sekine with his submissions and limb work but found no help from his partner Takuya Nomura because FUMA had cut him off. FUMA took care of Nomura with an Exploder Suplex while Sekine wore down Abe with Low Roundhouse Kicks until he applied the Combine and Abe gave up.

Sekine thanked their opponents for the match and promised them he and FUMA will help grow the Iron Fist Tag Titles Astronauts had been nurturing so carefully. Sekine & FUMA then decided they will aim for 100 title defences together! Abe admitted defeat and compared Sekine’s Combine submission to Suwama’s Last Ride Power Bomb as the moves that hurt his back the worst. Nomura promised he will get stronger from tomorrow and will be back in BASARA soon.

Win, lose or draw Yuki Ishida was happy to wrestle Ryota Nakatsu in a match filled with the Harimao and Dosukoi spirit. The other members Kazusada Higuchi and Naomi Yoshimura were at the show too. Higuchi said he would like to wrestle in BASARA again after his return match in DDT happens. Nakatsu would like the whole unit to appear together in BASARA again.

Over the last few months Ayato Yoshida has been getting boos from fans over in 2AW. It carried over to BASARA today because the fans were booing him after every action he made in his match against Daiki Shimomura. Yoshida got the last laugh by winning the match with his Pump Kick finisher called the Revenge For Your Booing. He also called the fans drunks as he was leaving the ring.

Ayumu Honda also didn’t show good sportsmanship in his match with KUBITO. After Honda beat KUBITO with a Jumping Armbar, he held up KUBITO’s arm after the match only to jump him and attack the limb even more.
