5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) Vs Best Stretchman V3

For years now Gouma Ryu and Banana Senga have been rivals in the court. They get along when they are away from the criminal justice system so let’s see how they work as a tag team.

Jun Masaoka doesn’t want to get along with anybody but he is pretty much a part of the current BASARA rookie generation. Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino have been teaming together anyway. A third partner for them wouldn’t hurt.

5. DDT Extreme Title: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Antonio Honda
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles – 4 Way Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) & Soma Takao Vs Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata (?) Vs MAO & Mike Bailey Vs Ricky Starks & Mike Rollins
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs Makoto Oishi

For his first KO-D Openweight Title defence, Tetsuya Endo has chosen Makoto Oishi to be his opponent because he is guaranteed to beat him. That was proven over the weekend when Endo submitted Oishi in the main event of Sunday’s show. Oishi thinks he has a chance because he could outsmart Endo with his wrestling knowledge. Endo thinks he has everything in his arsenal to beat Oishi anyway no matter how Oishi uses his head when they wrestle.

There is a lot of craziness surrounding the KO-D Tag Team Titles match. Konosuke Takeshita challenged the new champions DAMNATION because he wants to get revenge for losing the KO-D Title to Daisuke Sasaki in New York. The Moonlight Express want to get their rematch because they are the former champions. Newcomers Ricky Starks & Mike Rollins saw an opportunity to get involved in the title picture and also want to be in the match. So we are getting a 4 Way Match for the belts. Now there is a new bump in the road for ALL OUT because it was announced today that Shunma Katsumata is out of action for an undetermined amount of time with a left ankle injury.

The mascot Pokotan wrestles in a DDT ring for the first time since its debut at “JUDGEMENT 2019”.

5. TOKYO Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima

With 10 defences under her belt and two championships over her shoulders, Miyu Yamashita has been looking mighty unbeatable lately. Yuka Sakazaki has been the same and both of them have more overseas bookings they’re looking forward too. Sadly for Shoko Nakajima when it comes to the most established power trio of Tokyo Joshi she’s been feeling left out. Well no more! Nakajima has challenged Yamashita for the TOKYO Princess Title at Korakuen Hall. Will Anguirus topple Godzilla?

Misao is constantly telling everyone that Hyper Misao is dead and never coming back. Rika Tatsumi doesn’t believe her and is willing to fight her to prove the superhero is still alive in there somewhere. Miu Watanabe has been constantly fighting and losing to NEO Biishiki-gun ever since Misao joined the unit. With the Up Up Girls now down one member and her other partners currently taking separate paths, she gets another chance to stand up to Sakisama.

3. Jun Masaoka defeated Daiki Shimomura with the 2trap (9:38).
4. Aiseki Tag Vs Trans-Am ★ Family: Ikuto Hidaka & Fuminori Abe defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Trans-Am ★ Tomato when Hidaka pinned Hiroshi with the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex (10:40).
5. Sparky Vs Stretchmen!: Ryota Nakatsu & Naoki Tanizaki defeated Best Stretchman V3 & Best Stretchman Amazon when Nakatsu pinned V3 with the V Slider (9:53).
6. Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Isami Kodaka, Minoru Fujita & Ryuichi Sekine defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & SAGAT (c) when Sekine submitted Kubo with the Let’s Combine (14:48).
*The Iron Family fails in V1. Sento Minzoku becomes the 30th Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Champions!

What on Earth happened here? A week ago The Iron Family win the Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Titles and today in their first defence they lose the belts to Sento Minzoku! A win looked certain when FUMA stopped Ryuichi Sekine from doing the Let’s Combine on Yusuke Kubo. FUMA hit Sekine with a High Kick to the head, SAGAT did the Crucifixion Of Death and Kubo applied the Death Metal Roll. Luckily for Sekine, Isami Kodaka and Minoru Fujita were there to break the pin. Kubo went for the Goro Suplex several times but Sekine was able to avoid it and catch Kubo in the Let’s Combine for the unexpected submission victory!

FUMA demanded a rematch and encouraged the crowd to agree with him. However his appeal was cut off by a voice saying that they are owed a rematch first. The voice was coming from Abdullah Kobayashi and he was accompanied by Yoshihisa Uto & Hideki Suzuki! The previous champions came here today to get their titles back. Kodaka talked down to Uto by only recognising him as the wrestler he beat in Big Japan yesterday. He saw the mess this situation was becoming and came up with an idea to do a 3 Way Trios title match next month between Sento Minzoku, The Iron Family and the Kobayashi Gundan. The other teams agreed and left, allowing Kodaka to give attention to Sekine for winning the match.

The encounters between Ryota Nakatsu and Best Stretchman V3 in the semi-main event fired up V3. His hood was accidentally removed when he escaped from the V Slider and V3 was left vulnerable to a High Kick as he tried to fix it. V3 ignored his costume malfunction to continue fighting but he was put away with the V Slider. V3 had a bloody nose but he demanded a Union MAX Title shot against Nakatsu for next month. Nakatsu was confused by the challenge because he just beat him but he also sensed a fire burning inside of V3 when they fought so he accepted. V3 then said that BSM stands for something other than Best Stretchman. For this match the B stands for Best, the S stands for Sparky and the M stands for the wrestler that came from Union Pro who will become the next Union Max Champion! Yeah, nobody really understands why he thinks the M stands for that…

A recent online situation involving Manami Toyota and Bea Priestley revealed that Toyota has given permission to only two people for using her Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex: Tsukasa Fujimoto and Ikuto Hidaka. Today Hidaka used the move to win his tag match when Fuminori Abe reminded him he has Toyota’s blessing to do it.

The 2trap is Jun Masaoka’s version of the Tornado Clutch. When he beat Daiki Shimomura he pointed over to Kodaka, implying he wants to fight him next.

Akiyori Takizawa was put in court for a very dangerous crime in Japan, possession of cocaine! The prosecutor Banana Senga wanted to cite Pierre Taki as reference for the case but everyone cut him off because they didn’t want to get into any trouble. The referee was asked to give Takizawa a physical examination and he discovered white powder hidden in Takizawa’s kneepad. The defence lawyer Gouma Ryu identified the powder as just ordinary salt that Takizawa likes to use on his boiled eggs. However more white powder was found so Ryota Nakatsu and Naoki Tanizaki were called in as witnesses. Senga told everyone that the eye blacks seen on the Sparky wrestlers’ faces was actually signs of drug addiction! The topic of ASUKA PROJECT closing down was then brought up which caused Ryu and Senga to join forces and attack Takizawa. He fought both of them off to prove his innocence, pinning the two with a Choke Slam and Reverse DDT combo.

1. Ryuichi Sekine defeated Masato Kamino with the Let’s Combine (6:16).
2. Turnabout Pro Wrestling Trial: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Gouma Ryu and Banana Senga when Hiroshi submitted Senga with the Scorpion Deathlock (4:07).
3. FUMA, SAGAT & Trans-Am ★ Ryuji defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Takato Nakano & Yasu Urano when FUMA pinned Nakano with the Heavy Metal Anthem (10:20).
4. Yusuke Kubo defeated Jun Masaoka with the Wrist Clutch Goro Suplex (11:21).
5. Aiseki Tag Vs Stretchmen!: Fuminori Abe & Ikuto Hidaka defeated Best Stretchman V3 & Best Stretchman Amazon when Hidaka submitted V3 with the Shawn Capture (11:24).
6. Sparky Vs Sento Minzoku!: Isami Kodaka, Minoru Fujita & Daiki Shimomura defeated Ryota Nakatsu, Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizara when Kodaka pinned Nakatsu with the Isamuashi Zan (14:16).

Although Ryota Nakatsu was pinned by Isami Kodaka, he feels good about today’s turn of events. Today Kodaka wrestled like a man resurrected and Nakatsu can now look forward to defending the Union MAX Title against the best version of Kodaka. It wouldn’t be worthwhile for Nakatsu to beat Kodaka if Kodaka is off his game. When Sparky left, Kodaka asked Ryuichi Sekine to get him a beer. The fans chanted for Sekine and as a joke the music guy played Sekine’s music instead of Kodaka’s to close out the show.

There was no clean fighting from either Yusuke Kubo or Jun Masaoka in their anticipated singles match. Kubo carried an iron pipe with him and threw powder in Masaoka’s face. Masaoka would try to rip apart Kubo’s mask when he was in control of the match. A well placed Lariat from Kubo put him in position to use a move from his past, the Wrist Clutch Goro Suplex, to win. After the match Takumi Tsukamoto entered the ring to check on Masaoka but Masaoka shrugged him off. He told Tsukamoto he’s not in BASARA to make friends. He doesn’t want to team with him, he wants to fight him instead! Tsukamoto told him if that’s what he wants then so be it. But he better be prepared.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi was on trial for allegedly defrauding a yoga instructor into giving him a free lesson during his journey in India. Hiroshi interrupted the proceedings by getting Gouma Ryu and Banana Senga to do yoga with him. Senga stopped because he heard that yoga can be a dangerous because it can expose the human body to disease. Senga showed proof by taking off his shirt and revealing there was eczema across his back from doing yoga last week! Ryu agreed that yoga was unsanitary and the two decided to attack Hiroshi. Hiroshi Clotheslined the both of them and made Senga tap out to a Scorpion Deathlock. Hiroshi then told Senga he wants one final match against the Best Stretchmen on 21st March. His partners will be The Brahman Brothers! Senga accepted the challenge then admitted he actually got eczema from going to a love hotel and getting bitten by a bed bug. He was already gone when the others realised he just admitted to lying in court during the trial.

6. Sparky Vs Sento Minzoku!: Ryota Nakatsu, Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizara defeated Ryuichi Sekine, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita when Nakatsu pinned Shimomura with the V Slider (16:50).

Sparky won the main event over Sento Minzoku but continued to attack them after the bell. Suddenly a person wearing a bag over his head entered the ring and fought off Ryota Nakatsu. The man then removed his bag and was revealed to be Isami Kodaka! He said he will be ready to return from injury in time for the 6th January BASARA show. Kodaka asked Nakatsu if he’s been having fun as the Union MAX Champion while he was absent. Even though Kodaka hasn’t been at the shows lately he’s still watching them and when he comes back on the 6th he wants to challenge for the championship! Naoki Tanizaki took the microphone and asked Kodaka if he remembers who took the MAX Title from him? It was Tanizaki and he’s not going to let Kodaka come in and get a title match so quickly. If Kodaka wants to challenge Nakatsu, he better get past Tanizaki first! Kodaka accepted Tanizaki’s challenge for 6th January.

Trans-Am ★ Ryuji defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and looked to have hurt their friendship in the process. Ryuji punched Hiroshi and told him goodbye after the match, leaving Hiroshi alone in the ring. Hiroshi was upset until “Last Christmas” played and Ryuji came back out wearing a Santa hat singing along to the song. Hiroshi joined in, they hugged and then wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

Yasu Urano went through an audition to become a Best Stretchman. He pinned Stretchman Man with a School Boy after Man accidentally struck Best Stretchman Amazon with his hook. After the match it was determined that Urano failed the audition because Best Stretchman V3 felt he acted too stubborn whenever he was asked to do the Best Stretch exercises.

Masato Kamino’s first show as a BASARA wrestler was a busy one. He lost his debut match to Fuminori Abe but left the ring feeling encouraged. He then had to come back out because he was now being put on trial by Gouma Ryu and Atsushi Maruyama! He was accused of fraud and exploitation in regards to fight money. Kamino had to sit through Ryu and Maruyama wrestling each other while they argued over the case. It was during this that information came out about Kamino having a bad history with another wrestling company beginning with the letter K. Ryuichi Sekine was brought out as a witness but Maruyama ignored him so he could talk with a woman in the front row instead. Ryu got Maruyama back into the ring and they both agreed to use wrestling as a way to relax during their lawyer work. They then attacked Kamino and hit him over the head with Ryu’s law book. Maruyama then knocked over Ryu and pinned Kamino with a Buzzsaw Kick. There was a lesson to be learned today. Maruyama wants Kamino to face his past and be honest about it. When he does he will then be able to take a fresh step in a new direction. Kamino agreed and promised to do his best from the ground up in BASARA.

1. FUMA Vs Great Sasuke

Something that has bothered FUMA for years was the period when The Great Sasuke came out to “Metal On Metal” by Anvil. That song isn’t heavy metal enough by FUMA’s standards so he wants to show Sasuke what real heavy metal is like!

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Yusuke Kubo and SAGAT are also booked on the show. Bands announced to perform include Dragon’s Den, Hellhound, Alice In Hell, Collar Bone, The Kandarivas and Black Sweet. Hellhound will perform “Warriors Of Rising Sun” live for FUMA’s ring entrance.

0. NO TV Match: Keisuke Ishii & Yumehito Imanari defeated Mad Paulie & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Ishii submitted Shimatani with a Body Strangle Reverse Full Nelson (7:55).
0. NO TV Match: Jason Kincaid & Michael Wolf defeated Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Iino when Kincaid pinned Iino with the Philosopher’s Stomp (8:46).
1. Shigehiro Irie defeated Mizuki Watase with the Clothesline From Close To His Heart (8:26).
2. Super Sasadango Machine defeated Sanshiro Takagi with the Vertical Drop Lehmann Shock (3:58).
3. MAO, Mike Bailey, Ethan Page & Priscilla Kelly defeated Jun Kasai, Akito, Masahiro Takanashi & Saki Akai when MAO pinned Takanashi after the Michinoku Tornado Driver (11:24).
4. Mote Mote Army Vs Not Mote Army All Out Fight!: Kazusada Higuchi, Antonio Honda & Shigehiro Irie defeated Makoto Oishi, Yuki Ueno & Konosuke Takeshita when Irie pinned Ueno with the YaroZ Bomber (10:35).
5. Special Single Match: HARASHIMA defeated Keisuke Okuda with the Somato (9:41).
6. Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo defeated Danshoku Dieno, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Sasaki submitted Dieno with La Mistica Cross Facelock (12:56).

Momentum has swung back in Daisuke Sasaki’s favour but it took some creative thinking to win today’s mind game against Danshoku Dieno. When Dieno put him in a Lip Lock, Sasaki pulled down his pants to reveal he was wearing fishnet tights underneath! This distracted Dieno enough for Sasaki to take control and tap out the KO-D Openweight Champion with the Cross Facelock. Sasaki told Dieno after the match that he has gone to the other side of Danshoku today and is now unbeatable! He is now sure he will win the KO-D Title at Sumo Hall. Dieno admits that Sasaki now has what it takes to go the extra mile. Dieno will activate all of his power to stand in Sasaki’s way and crush him! Sasaki ended the show by reminding everyone that DAMNATION still have the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles and the group will all leave Sumo Hall with championships.

Keisuke Okuda didn’t come alone for his match with HARASHIMA. He had HARASHIMA’s next DDT Extreme Title challenger Shinya Aoki backing him up in his corner. There was no foul play and HARASHIMA defeated Okuda with the Somato. Afterwards Aoki scorned Okuda for not having a good match, as usual. Okuda said he knows DDT is the place to be and he will scratch it.

After Okuda left, Aoki asked HARASHIMA what the rules for their Extreme Title match will be. HARASHIMA invited Gouma Ryu, the wrestling lawyer from BASARA, into the ring. Ryu explained that the rules of pro wrestling can be ambiguous. He’d like to meet with Aoki to discuss the exact rules of the match from the number of strikes allowed to how many seconds of illegal behaviour will be accepted before a wrestler is penalised. They’re aiming to have the entire ruleset figured out before the match takes place on the 28th October.

The battle between Mote Mote wrestlers and Not Mote wrestlers began with a surprise when Shigehiro Irie was revealed to be the final member of the Not Mote Army. Together with Kazusada Higuchi & Antonio Honda they isolated Yuki Ueno and beat him with the YaroZ Bomber, although Irie yelled out “Mote Bomber” when he hit the move. Makoto Oishi tried to brush off the loss by asking “The Bachelor” Rintaro Oyaizu if their dinner party was still on. Oyaizu asked to cancel it because the women going are not interested in Oishi’s type. This week’s special guest Akane Takayanagi was then invited to the ring to be asked what was the coolest thing she saw on the show today. She said Irie. Oishi realised Takayanagi is from SKE48, the idol group that currently possess the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. He charged to attack her but Irie knocked him away with the Traffic Accident Tackle. Irie got to take a picture with Takayanagi and shake her left hand as thanks. He then asked her to keep in touch on LINE but she admitted she doesn’t use it. Lastly, Irie decided to make Higuchi the new leader of the YaroZ brand. The next YaroZ show will take place on 14th November.

Priscilla Kelly had a lot of interactions in her match. She licked Saki Akai and kicked Jun Kasai between the legs after he kicked her below the belt. She and Ethan Page dove out of the ring and the Moonlight Express swept up the pieces to win.

MAO was attacked by Sanshiro Takagi (dressed as a panda) after the match and was given a Stunner. Takagi tried to smash MAO through a plastic box but MAO turned the tables and put Takagi through it with the Michinoku Driver II instead. The two went to a stand still, each armed with a broken shard of the box.

The reason Takagi was dressed as a panda was to help out Super Sasadango Machine with some research. Sasadango’s PowerPoint was titled “How To Beat Andreza Giant Panda“. So far Sasadango has learned Andreza’s weakness, Andreza’s finishing moves and the fact that DDT is not going to get sued for animal mistreatment. Now he wanted to simulate a match against the Giant Panda so he asked Takagi to dress up as a panda and act like one in their match. Takagi did so and was in control until Sasadango pulled out bamboo. Takagi was so distracted that Sasadango easily hit the Vertical Drop Lehmann Shock and got the victory. Sasadango thanked Takagi for his accurate portrayal of a giant panda. This was exactly the preparation Sasadango needs for Sumo Hall!

To show how seriously Mizuki Watase took his match with Irie, Watase wrestled without a shirt on. He shook Irie by the left hand to start the match but held on to him while they traded Elbow Smashes. Watase gave it all that he got and even hit Irie with a Running Cannonball in the corner. Irie survived the Back Drop and avoided the Tiger Suplex to hit the Beast Bomber. Rather than pin Watase immediately he instead placed Watase’s left hand over his chest. He then hit another Beast Bomber and this time pinned him. Irie, Watase and Jason Kincaid all embraced after the match.

Michael Wolf’s first proper match in Japan ended in victory. He and Jason Kincaid were able to handle Shunma Katsumata but things got difficult when Yuki Iino got in. That didn’t last long though and Kincaid took down Iino with a Diamond Cutter before pinning him with the Philosopher’s Stomp.

The audience ignored Nobuhiro Shimatani’s call for a “Nobu” chant so they could cheer for Yumehiti Imanari instead. Keisuke Ishii’s new Reverse Full Nelson got him another win.

An update on the Dramatic General Election shows that Maki Ito is still leading the singles contest with 627 votes but Masahiro Takanashi and Akito are catching up with 514 and 504 votes respectively. The big change is in the unit election where for the first time DAMNATION has been knocked off the top spot. Shuten-dōji are now in front with 1,058 votes to DAMNATION’s 1,032.

Another Iron Man Title change took place within SKE48 during the show. Yuki Arai won the title from Kaori Matsumura. Arai then announced she will show up at the next DDT Korakuen Hall show on 28th October!

2. Reversal Pro Wrestling Trial: Michael Wolf defeated Gouma Ryu and Banana Senga when Wolf pinned Senga with the Blue Thunder (6:49).
3. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Yusuke Kubo defeated Best Stretchman V3 & Best Stretchman Amazon when Hiroshi pinned V3 with the Halasana (9:28).
4. Minoru Fujita & Ryuichi Sekine Vs Ikuto Hidaka & Fuminori Abe ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
5. Sakigake!! Iron Family Vs Brahman Brothers!: Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei defeated FUMA & SAGAT when Kei pinned SAGAT after the Five Body Dissatisfaction (8:30).
6. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Daiki Shimomura with the V Slider (13:58).
*V1 for Ryota Nakatsu.

Ryota Nakatsu was sombre in victory after his first successful Union MAX Title defence. Daiki Shimomura has changed since he came to BASARA. They had an exciting match for the title but Nakatsu isn’t ready to lose to him yet. With no trouble brewing between them, Nakatsu encouraged Shimomura and the rest of Sento Minzoku to go beat Ganbare☆Wrestling at their next show. Nakatsu raised a toast on his own to end the show and said he felt lonely. He knows that somewhere Isami Kodaka is watching. Nakatsu is here waiting for him. Kodaka can feel confident in Nakatsu leading BASARA in his absence.

The Brahman Brothers are back to make a mess in BASARA. They did their bowling ball and suitcase spot but FUMA & SAGAT later turned the tables and did the same spot to them. They lifted up Brahman Kei for a double Razor’s Edge move called the Crucifixion Of Death but Brahman Shu stopped them by throwing powder in their faces. They later blinded SAGAT with the black India Ink and pinned him with the Five Body Dissatisfaction pinning combination. The Brahmans led a “Heavy Metal” chant after they won.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Minoru Fujita is definitely a member of Sento Minzoku. He has a tail now so it is undeniable. Fujita & Ryuichi Sekine couldn’t beat Ikuto Hidaka & Fuminori Abe within the time limit. Both teams demanded extra time to be added. They even did push ups and squats to prove to the referee that they were all still able to continue. Their appeal was interrupted when suddenly Ken Ohka & Shota from Ganpro ran into the ring and attacked Sekine! Ohka grabbed the microphone and was about to speak when Daiki Shimomura blindsided him with a Missile Dropkick knocking him out of the ring. Sekine regrouped with Shota outside and declared Ganpro’s upcoming match with Sento Minzoku to be an all out fight! They’re even willing to fight outnumbered 3 Vs 2 now that Fujita is involved with them. Fujita taunted the Ganpro duo and reminded them of their history together. Ohka attempted to get in the ring but Shimomura kicked him off, forcing Ganpro to retreat. Sekine then properly invited Fujita to join Sento Minzoku, placing his red hoodie over his back. Fujita accepted the invitation.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi convinced Best Stretchman V3 to try out some yoga stretches. When V3 went into the Halasana position where he lies on his back and rolls onto his shoulders by lifting his legs, he felt so relaxed that he fell asleep. Hiroshi then gently pinned him for the three count.

The former Banana Senga returned to this form so he could participate in the Reversal Pro Wrestling Trials again. However his transformation wasn’t entirely complete because he still had the Stretch Man Man hook worn over his hand. American wrestler Michael Wolf was under trial for fraud. Apparently they thought Wolf was Ryuichi Sekine in disguise. Both Senga and Gouma Ryu attacked Wolf thinking he was a fake foreigner. Wolf hit them with a Double Lariat and pinned Senga with the Blue Thunder to prove his innocence. Wolf then called the both of them fake lawyers and fake wrestlers in Japanese.

FUMA will take on The Great Sasuke in the main event of “FUMA FEST VOL.2” on 8th December. FUMA doesn’t like how Sasuke used a song from the movie “Anvil” as his entrance music years ago. FUMA thinks that song was boring so he wants to give Sasuke a real lesson in heavy metal!

An update was given for Isami Kodaka’s current health. He was allowed to leave his hospital earlier than planned but it is unknown when he will be fit to return to the ring.

5. Hardcore Cage Match: Masashi Takeda defeated Isami Kodaka with the Reverse U Crash (11:28).
6. Yoga Vs Aikata! Tag Showdown!: Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Osamu Nishimura when Fujita pinned Hiroshi with the Samson Clutch (11:06).
7. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Naoki Tanizaki (c) with the V Slider (16:35).
*Naoki Tanizaki fails in V3. Ryota Nakatsu becomes the 11th Union MAX Champion!

BASARA’s return to Korakeun Hall ended in joy because Ryota Nakatsu is now the new Union MAX Champion! It was a challenge for him to dethrone Naoki Tanizaki. He had to kick out of both the Reverse Implant and the regular Implant back to back to stay in the match. Nakatsu shouted out Ryuichi Sekine’s name as he mounted his comeback. This led to Nakatsu putting Tanizaki in the Let’s Combine submission hold. Tanizaki kicked out of the V Slider but was then trapped in the Crescent Moon half crab hold. Nakatsu eventually let go of the hold and wore down Tanizaki with Buzzsaw Kicks before putting him away with another V slider.

Sekine was the first person to congratulate Nakatsu on becoming the champion. He also came to the conclusion that now is the time for Cavalry to split up. There is nothing negative behind this decision, Sekine thinks it should happen because he wants to challenge Nakatsu for the belt. In order to become even stronger, they must fight each other eventually. Nakatsu agreed and accepted the split but he ensured everyone they will still get along as friends. Nakatsu said he was glad to discover pro wrestling and join BASARA and today he has become BASARA’s top wrestler! He cut himself off thinking that Isami Kodaka would give a different opinion but Kodaka communicated to him that he can’t speak and had to go to the hospital. More on that below.

Last May Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Osamu Nishimura were opponents. Today they became tag partners. Meanwhile Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita wrestled in matching black and white gear that they recently debuted in Michinoku Pro. They both puy Hiroshi & Nishimura in Sleeper Holds but the Yoga team peacefully resisted the moves by meditating. The referee wanted them to show movement so he began a ten count. Hiroshi woke up and fought back against Fujita. However Hidaka decided to join in with Nishimura’s meditation. Hiroshi tried to put Fujita in a Cobra Twist but it was countered into the Samson Clutch, giving Fujita the pinfall victory. After the match Fujita was now deeply meditating and wouldn’t budge no matter who kicked him so he had to be carried to the back, still in his yoga pose.

Unfortunately Kodaka didn’t come out of the Hardcore Cage Match in one piece. The chair shots and cage smashes took their toll and left Kodaka with a fractured jaw. Kodaka tried to sneak by with a win with the European Clutch but Masashi Takeda kicked out of it. Takeda then struck Kodaka with a steel can and pinned him with the Reverse U Crash. The two signalled afterwards that they want another match against each other sometime.

Don Fujii enjoyed his time at BASARA today. He described his team with Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe as if they’ve been friends for 20 years. They were like senior high school students today even though Sekine and Abe went to high school decades after Fujii did. The team were rewarded with alcohol by the match sponsor Cielo.

Takumi Tsukamoto got to celebrate his 9th wrestling anniversary with a few of his friends from Big Japan and FREEDOMS. Tsukamoto teamed with Toru Sugiura to beat Kazuki Hashimoto & Tatsuhiko Yoshino. The four of them reminisced backstage about their early years as rookies after the match. Tsukamoto came out of it feeling blessed that he was strong both mentally and physically to advance past his early career and become what he is today 9 years later. He thinks he might bring back the wrestling class of 2009 for his 10th anniversary.

Daiki Shimomura did what Kodaka asked of him and attached a tail to his costume. Takato Nakano also made his entrance carrying a samurai sword given to him by Kodaka. The Best Stretchmen promoted their new T-shirts then made Stretchman Man remove the hook from his hand for everyone’s safety. He later put the hook back on to do his finisher but Best Stretchman V3 stopped him so they could all do their stretch pose instead. Akiyori Takizawa & Takato Nakano interrupted the pose with Dropkicks but Nakano got singled out and was slashed by Stretchman Man’s hook. He was then pinned with the Double Stretch Kick by the V3 & Best Stretchman Amazon.

Yusuke Kubo entered to a new theme song. He was able to save SAGAT from defeat a couple of times but was taken out by Jun Masaoka’s Thrust Kick. That left SAGAT with no choice but to submit when Manabu Hara put him in a Chickenwing Armlock.

Before the dark match began, Gouma Ryu entered the ring with Sekine for last minute training. Sekine taught Ryu how to do a Wristlock and Ryu was able to use it move against Yasu Urano. Ryu also asked the audience to point at the video screen whenever Ryu spun his finger around so Urano would get distracted. That way Ryu can do his Running Neckbreaker finisher. Urano did fall for the trick but he dodged the Running Neckbreaker and gave Ryu his own version of the move to win.

1. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Yusuke Kubo & SAGAT defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Daichi Kazato & Yasu Urano when Hiroshi pinned Kazato with a Backslide Pin (12:50).
2. Gouma Ryu defeated Stretchman Man by Disqualification when Stretchman refused to break a 5 Count (0:34).
2a. Rematch: Stretchman Man Vs Gouma Ryu ended in a Double Disqualification after a Double Fake Weapon Attack (5:29).
3. Benmaru Tournament 0: Daiki Shimomura defeated Jun Masaoka with the Orange Sunset (10:33).
4. Aikata Vs Bozu! Tag Showdown: Ikuto Hidaka & Minoru Fujita defeated Ryuichi Sekine & Fuminori Abe when Fujita pinned Abe with a Modified Samson Clutch (11:00).
5. Naoki Tanizaki & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Takato Nakano when Tanizaki pinned Nakano with the Reverse Implant (13:39).
6. Doki! Hardcore Match Full Of Cans: Isami Kodaka defeated FUMA with the Isamuashi Zan (16:21).

Isami Kodaka was left bloodied but victorious over FUMA in their Hardcore match main event. Steel cans made up most of the weapons available but chairs and a ladder also came into play in a painful manner for both men. FUMA gave Kodaka a Brainbuster from the ladder onto a pile of cans. Later the ladder was bridged across two chairs and FUMA was given a Superplex onto it. Kodaka overwhelmed FUMA with his kicks and knee strikes until the Isamuashi Zan put FUMA away. Kodaka asked for a rematch afterwards. No matter how many times they fight each other, Kodaka always feels a new excitement over it. Kodaka ended the show by inviting the BASARA roster into the ring to hype up their next big show at Korakuen Hall on 21st September. Kodaka also talked about his upcoming trip to America for a death match tournament held by Game Changer Wrestling. He promised to win it and become the world’s best death match wrestler!

Ryota Nakatsu admitted he was disappointed with today’s performance when his team lost to Naoki Tanizaki’s side. Tanizaki added insult to injury after the match when he attacked Tanizaki and gave him the Implant. That made Nakatsu angry and more determined to take the Union MAX Title from Tanizaki at Korakuen.

Match #4 turned playful when Ikuto Hidaka ended up sitting on Minoru Fujita’s shoulders. That then encouraged Fuminori Abe to climb onto Ryuichi Sekine’s shoulders so the two teams could play a game of chicken in the ring. Cavalry were able to knock Hidaka off Fujita’s shoulders. The play time ended when Fujita gave Sekine a Low Blow. When Abe fell off, Fujita rolled him into a Samson Clutch for the three count.

Daiki Shimomura used a new arm assisted cradle move called the Orange Sunset to beat Jun Masaoka and win the Benmaru Tournament. Shimomura called Kodaka down to the ring afterwards to confirm there was no prize on the line. Kodaka admitted so. Kodaka then invited Masaoka to wrestle for BASARA on a regular basis including a rematch with Shimomura somewhere down the line. Masaoka nodded in acceptance. Shimomura was content with there being no prize because he has something else he wants. Shimomura wants to team up with Kodaka and form a unit together! The Korakuen card has already been determined so the new unit will have to be formed afterwards. Kodaka then told Shimomura he has to grow a tail until then. If he’s going to do his best to impress Kodaka then Shimomura needs to have a monkey tail growing out of him!

The match between Gouma Ryu and Stretchman Man went off to a bad start when Ryu asked for the match to be changed to a Pro Wrestling Trial. When that was declined, Stretchman pushed Ryu up against the ropes and refused to move away during the 5 count so he got disqualified. An immediate rematch was agreed upon. Stretchman complained to Yuya Okada for counting too slow for his pins. Okada denied such a thing then counted fast when Ryu gave Stretchman a School Boy. Okada later took a ref bump which allowed Stretchman to grab his hook and Ryu to grab his law book. When Okada got back up, Ryu and Stretchman threw their weapons at each other and both faked being attacked by the other. Okada fell for both tricks and disqualified the two of them resulting in no winner. Stretchman demanded a rematch for next time and Ryu told him it will be settled in court!
