7. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Shinya Aoki

This is the match order for Sunday’s show. YUZUKI will be there for Strange Love Connection which is good enough reason for the team to swap places with The 37KAMIINA in the entrance order.

DDT “REMBRANDT HIGHWAY SERIES 2026 ~AYU COLISUEM IN ATSUGI~”, 05/07/2026
Kanagawa Rembrandt Hotel Atsugi Grand Banquet Sagami

1. Naomi Yoshimura Vs Hinata Kasai
2. Danshoku Dieno & To-y Vs Kazuki Hirata & Yuni
3. Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato Vs Kazuma Sumi, Yuki Ishida & Rukiya
4. Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs Akito, Soma Takao, Yukio Naya & Masami Inahata
5. FANTÔMES DRAMATIC Vs STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION!: Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda Vs MAO, KANON & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO)
6. Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata Vs Jun Akiyama & Junta Miyawaki

I wonder if Yuki Ishida’s little video last week about him needing to change will lead to anything drastic happening between now and this show taking place.

DDT “ASAKUSA ROX NAKAMISE FIGHTING 2026”, 08/07/2026
Tokyo Asakusa ROX 3G Super Multi Court

1. Yuya Koroku, Daichi Sato & MBM Vs Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Rukiya & Masami Inahata

3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, Ryota Nakatsu & Naomi Yoshimura Vs Takeshi Masada, To-y & Yuki Ishida

The French wrestler MBM is returning to Japan in July. He is already booked for a Super Japan show during his stay and a few days later he will be back in DDT too.

DDT “CHECK OUT DDT AT GRANSHIP”, 12/07/2026
Shizuoka Granship Exchange Hall

1. Danshoku Dieno & Antonio Honda Vs Kazuki Hirata & Akito
2. Jun Akiyama & Rukiya Vs MJ Paul & Ilusion
3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Hinata Kasai Vs Kazuma Sumi, Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku

Shinya Aoki will be on the show. If he wins the KO-D Openweight Title this weekend then according to the schedule this show will be his first appearance as champion.

DDT “FIGHTING BEER GARDEN 2026 IN SHINJUKU 【FINAL COUNTDOWN 1】”, 15/07/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Invisible Man Rumble: Kazuki Hirata Vs Lengendary Invisible Man Fighters
2. Special 8-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, Shinya Aoki, To-y & Kaisei Takechi Vs KANON, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante (w/ KIMIHIRO & YUZUKI)
3. Summer Fun KING OF DRUNK 2026: Daisuke Sasaki Vs Kazuma Sumi Vs Chris Brookes Vs MAO Vs Shunma Katsumata

Last Year’s KING OF DRUNK winner Daisuke Sasaki is ready to defend his crown.

What’s a big attraction like Kaisei Takechi doing at the Beer Garden? Would THE RAMPAGE allow him to have a few drinks if he wishes to have some?

Come see the Invisible Man Rumble… except you can’t… because most of the entries are invisible… We’re starting to enter the territory where this could be mistaken for a Mystery Wrestling show instead of a DDT show.

Kumadori will be on the first day of Beer Garden but he hasn’t been announced for the second day yet.

DDT “FIGHTING BEER GARDEN 2026 IN SHINJUKU 【FINAL COUNTDOWN 2】”, 16/07/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & Mikiya Sasaki Vs Shunma Katsumata & To-y
2. Blindfold Nipple Covered 4 Way Death Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Junta Miyawaki Vs Masami Inahata
3. Kaidan Shin-Numabukuro Royale: Kaisei Takechi Vs Jun Akiyama Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs MAO Vs KANON Vs Naomi Yoshimura Vs Rukiya Vs Hinata Kasai
*Kaidan Reading Artist: Hisaya Imabayashi
4. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato (c) Vs Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda

Takechi gets to experience the annual ghost story from Hisaya Imabayashi too! Junta Miyawaki also gets to experience more DDT-ness by taking part in his first Blindfold match. Maybe this time everyone else will want to drink along with him.

I have a suspicion that Mikiya Sasaki is going to impersonate Daisuke Sasaki instead of doing his usual Dory Funk Jr. tribute. Or how about Daisuke shows up thinking he’s Terry Funk?

DDT “YUKI UENO 10TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW -IN MY MIND “10”-”, 13/09/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Special Tag Match: MAO & Yoshihiko Vs Kazuki Hirata & Kaisei Takechi
2. Yuki Ueno 10th Anniversary Match ~ Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Shunma Katsumata

A promise was made by Yuki Ueno to have Kazuki Hirata & Kaisei Takechi team up together for his show. He just needed to find the right opponents for them. MAO fits the bill just fine as one half of the opposition. As for the other? Takechi prepare to meet your match in the form of Yoshihiko!

5. Rika Tatsumi Vs Shoko Nakajima
6. Miu Watanabe Vs Hyper Misao
7. Yuki Arai & Ren Konatsu Vs Miyu Yamashita & Shion Kanzaki

After passing her first year in pro wrestling, Ren Konatsu is being rewarded with a main event spot teaming up with Yuki Arai! However Shion Kanzaki is only six months into her career though and she’s in the same spot teaming with Miyu Yamashita so who is to say which is the better reward for the respective amount of time in the business.

The two singles matches underneath could end up being previews for a non-existent match down the line. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao don’t have a problem with wrestling Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi under normal circumstances but they’re not so enthusiastic over the reason why the these matches are happening here.

DDT “OWARI WARS 2026”, 21/06/2026

Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall

1. Yuki Arai, Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi & Suzume Vs Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao & Wakana Uehara

It’s a champions versus challengers 8-Woman Tag Match once again.

DDT “CHARISMANIA IV”, 02/07/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Single Match: MJ Paul Vs Ryunosuke Nagai
2. O-40 Title – 3 Way Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs Shuji Ishikawa Vs Keisuke Ishii

The further Daisuke Sasaki moves on from Best Of The Super Jr. the better. At least he doesn’t have to think about the tournament again for another 14 years. Now he can think about defending the O-40 Title with two opponents now chosen for the next title bout. Shuji Ishikawa and Keisuke Ishii both fit the bill so Sasaki will be fighting both in a 3 Way Match.

Ryunosuke Nagai is the 29 year old son of Mitsuya Nagai. He his pro debut last December and is showing up to “CHARISMANIA IV” for a match against MJ Paul.

The remaining lineup of the show at the moment is Hideki Okatani, Ilusion, Minoru Fujita, Yasu Urano, Sangre Aztca Jr. and Naohiro Katsumi.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’26”, 18/07/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Aja Kong Vs Arisu Endo
2. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Wakana Uehara
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita

We’re approaching the match that will either break the cycle or just start it all over again. Yuki Arai will be next defending the Princess Of Princess Title against Miyu Yamashita. In recent memory Yamashita once beat Arai in just over a minute but Arai then got to make Yamashita tap out in a 6 Way No. 1 Contender’s match that eventually led Arai to becoming the champion. With that said, Arai does not feel like she can call herself the true champion unless she can beat Yamashita one on one. Yamashita is coming into this match having just won the EVE International Title in England. Doing that made her want to win back the Princess Title even more. Is there no end to her insatiable desire for winning that championship again?!?

Last year’s “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS” had Kyoraku Kyomei beating Daydream in a defence of the Princess Tag Team Titles. This time around Daydream are the champs and they want a rematch at the show to avenge that defeat. The only problem is Kyoraku Kyomei do not want to challenge for the belts right now because they do not feel it is the right time to do so. They couldn’t win the titles in Las Vegas earlier this year and they don’t feel ready to climb that mountain again this soon. Daydream wants the match to happen anyway and it looks like they got their way. Protests from Nakajima & Misao may be on the way unless something happens to change their minds.

There’s no such trepidation in regards to the International Princess Title match though. Wakana Uehara is hungry to become the champion and isn’t shy about making puns about her appetite when it comes to challenging Suzume for the championship.

DDT “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026”, 11/08/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Hinata Kasai 1st Anniversary Debut Match ~ Special Tag Match: Jun Kasai & Hinata Kasai Vs X & X
2. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Time Delayed Entry Battle Royal: Daichi Sato (c) Vs X
3. Special Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki & X Vs Antonio Honda & X
4. Dramatic Dream Match: Konosuke Takeshita Vs Kaisei Takechi

It is only a matter of time until Hinata Kasai gets to team up with his dad Jun Kasai. It’s going to happen right when he celebrates the end of his first year as a pro wrestler. In the meantime, Hinata made it his goal to get his first direct win in a match before this show takes place.

*Yuya Koroku becomes the 1,823rd champion.
4. 3 Way Tag Match: Yuki Ishida & Rukiya defeated Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda and Naomi Yoshimura & Tomomitsu Matsunaga when Ishida pinned Matsunaga with an Izorikatame (8:45).
5. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & To-y defeated Shinya Aoki & Akito wen Ueno pinned Akito with the WR (15:11).
6. KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul, Ilusion & Haruto Sakuraba defeated MAO, KANON, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante when Sakuraba pinned Levante with the Jackhammer (20:22).
*V1 for DAMNATION T.A.

It’s been about six months since the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles were last defended. DAMNATION T.A have been missing Demus during that time period but the rules of the championship allow up to two substitutes to allow the title match to still go ahead. The challengers Strange Love Connection welcomed back Yuki Iino, who wrestled wearing a bandana to hide his haircut and showed none of the “PASSION~!” that he’s been developing over in NOAH lately. DAMNATION T.A brought out the big guns for this match, having Haruto Sakuraba come in to take Demus’s place. MAO & Yukio Naya almost had Ilusion beat with their Charge Love Heart double team move but MJ Paul pulled the referee away during the pinfall. Daisuke Sasaki then ran in to hit people with a chair. The newly renamed Viento Levante landed a rope walk Diving Headbutt onto Sakuraba but the pin was stopped with a Brain Claw by “The Monster”. Sakuraba then hit Levante with Lariats before beating him with the Jackhammer.

After the match Sakuraba said he’s been in slumber for almost a year and yet here he is holding a championship belt without lifting a finger (I’m unsure if the rules have been changed to now recognize him as one of the champions). He told the fans to tremble in fear until the next time he wakes up! Backstage Sakuraba said SLC are all defective while DAMNATION T.A is a perfect unit with a charismatic leader. Ilusion then asked when will be the next title defence? It might be in another six months time or at the end of the year again. Who knows?

Yuki Ueno and Shinya Aoki got to sign the contract for their KO-D Openweight Title match before the show began. Ueno always respected Aoki but has grown to love him because Aoki loves pro wrestling and DDT so much. It makes Ueno think the way to beat Aoki is to conquer him with love. Aoki can see Ueno is carrying more weight on his shoulders now compared to their first title match in 2024. He understands the scale of what Ueno is trying to accomplish as champion this time around. After their tag match on today’s show, Ueno told Aoki that wrestling him is so much fun. He’ll be sad when he beats him and the buildup over the title match is over. Aoki said he is going to give Ueno a good beating.

Now that the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is back in DDT, it has brought the hot potato title switches back to DDT shows. Kazuki Hirata lost the title to his own partner Shunma Katsumata before the match even began. Kumadori got the two of them to stop arguing in the middle of the match and dance with him instead. During the dance Hirata grabbed Katsumata and pinned him with the Miracle One Shot Cradle to win the belt back. Yuya Koroku then pulled Hirata into an Arm Lock and made him tap out so he now has the title. Hirata is not panicking over what happened because there is plenty of time to win it back before the Sumo Hall show later this summer. He might turn into “Hammer Hirata” again to get the belt back.

Junta Miyawaki’s DDT trial ended in defeat thanks to Danshoku Dieno using the Lip Lock with a Wrist Lock applied rendering Miyawaki unconscious. Dieno gave him another Lip Lock after the match to resuscitate him. He does not know why Miyawaki has come to DDT when he could have just stayed in NOAH and be a proper, respectable pro wrestler. Dieno has been in the business for 25 years and he has learned one thing more than anything else. When you put what you find is fun in life into your wrestling and the fans enjoy it then that is DDT. He then tried to give Miyawaki another Lip Lock but Miyawaki escaped and ran off.

Backstage, Miyawaki talked about his experiences in the trial series. He hates negative people but Antonio Honda, Kazuki Hirata and Danshoku Dieno are all the opposite of those kinds of people. He wants to wrestle them more so he can absorb their warm-hearted feelings. That was shown during the match with Dieno where Miyawaki used some of Honda’s and Hirata’s moves. He also admits he does not know how long he will be sticking around in DDT which is why he is cherishing every match he has here.

During the week DDT announced that Hinata Kasai is going to team up with his dad Jun Kasai for the first time ever at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2026” on 11th August to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Hinata’s debut. Although he lost again today, this past week has felt like Christmas and New Year’s all happening at once for him because it’s been so hectic. He thinks he is nowhere near being able to stand with his father in the ring yet. The first thing he needs to do in order to begin closing the gap is to get his first win before that match takes place.

Two more matches are added to Yukinori Matsui’s special show. They do normally tend to balloon out to this size.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “STAND ALONE ’26”, 07/06/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Princess Tag Team Titles: Miu Watanabe & Rika Tatsumi (c) Vs Mizuki & Uta Takami
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuki Arai (c) Vs Yuki Kamifuku

It’s taken almost nine years for Yuki Kamifuku to challenge for the Princess Of Princess Title. It’s not because of a lack of merit or anything like that. She just doesn’t like taking part in important singles matches or cares that much about winning championships. But she’s not getting any younger and discovering her first signs of aging has kicked Kamifuku into finally fighting Yuki Arai for Tokyo Joshi Pro’s most important title. After all, winning wrestling championships is the greatest anti-aging technique you can find.

Daydream once again hold the Princess Tag Team Titles. Their first challengers are going to be the losing finalists from this year’s Max Heart Tournament. When Rika Tatsumi discovered that Mizuki found a new tag partner in Uta Takami, she wasn’t happy about it. She thinks beating them can bring that team to an end so she can keep Mizuki all to herself. Mizuki however wants to live in the present and continue her team with Takami. Maybe if they win the titles they can get an official tag team name. Miu Watanabe probably doesn’t have much of an opinion on the matter.

DDT/NJPW “ONE-ON-ONE CONFRONTATION PART 2 ~SASADANGO-GUN VS YANO-GUN 5-ON-5 ELIMINATION TAG BATTLE~”, 08/06/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
2. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
3. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
4. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
5. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X

Sasadango-gun: Super Sasadango Machine, MAO, Kazuki Hirata

Yano-gun: Toru Yano, El Desperado, Ryusuke Taguchi

Both Kazuki Hirata and Ryusuke Taguchi have been drafted into the DDT Vs New Japan battle. Super Sasadango Machine is trying to recruit Danshoku Dieno for the show but Dieno keeps turning him down in order to focus on his King Of DDT run.

Now here’s an interesting thought. Konosuke Takeshita over the weekend decided to join the Hontai unit in NJPW. Since Sasadango is under the assumption that Toru Yano is only going to pick wrestlers from Hontai, does that mean there’s a possibility of Takeshita joining Yano’s team?

*V1 for FANTÔMES DRAMATIC.

Daisuke Sasaki returned from his American expedition already getting a title match, teaming up with MJ Paul to challenge FANTÔMES DRAMATIC for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. Paul stepped in to replace the injured Ilusion for the match but this was not an uplifting story of one friend helping out another. DAMNATION T.A were there to cause whatever trouble they could. Sasaki & Paul attacked Chris Brookes & HARASHIMA with chairs while Hideki Okatani found openings to interfere in the match too. However Antonio Honda & Hinata Kasai evened the odds, allowing HARASHIMA to land the Somato on Paul. That by itself wasn’t enough to put the big man down so HARASHIMA jumped off the ropes to do the Swan Dive Somato on Paul to get the victory. Sasaki blamed the loss on his “leader” Ilusion being missing and also from being tired after taking a long flight home from America. He also complained about immediately being given a title shot for his first match back when he couldn’t get prepared for it.

Kumadori is learning how things aren’t always going to go his way in wrestling. He hyped up his first appearance in Sapporo only to be pinned by Shunma Katsumata in a tag match. Katsumata rubbed salt in the wounds a little bit by giving him the NeppaWER!! pose instead of a handshake after the match.

Not sure if I wrote about this before. The reason why Noriyuki Yoshida’s finisher is called the Authorized Lightning Leg Lariat is because he got Kengo Kimura’s permission to use the move.

7. DDT Universal Title: Kazuma Sumi (c) defeated Shunma Katsumata with the School Boy (16:37).
*V1 for Kazuma Sumi.

The show began with Kazuma Sumi and Shunma Katsumata singing together for the NωA Jr. and then ended with the two wrestling each other for the DDT Universal Title. They wanted to get the message across that they are really good friends but when the time came for the main event, they were both focused on beating each other up. Katsumata piled up some chairs outside the ring and gave Sumi a Death Valley Bomb onto it. He also channeled Konosuke Takeshita by doing a German Suplex in a style similar to his. Sumi kept trying to use the School Boy to catch out Katsumata over and over. The plan eventually worked when he used it as a counter to the ¡Hasta la vista! to get the three count. Sumi thanked Katsumata for the match and said so much has happened in the time since NωA Jr. was formed. Whenever Sumi got nervous, Katsumata would always tell him it would be okay and he should go out there to have fun. Sumi thinks that advice is the reason he has made it this far. Although he beat Katsumata today, he doesn’t feel like he has surpassed him yet. He promised he will do that the next time they fight against each other. Until then, he wants to defend the Universal Title against amazing wrestlers from all over the world.

Today was Kumadori’s first time wrestling on one of DDT’s regional shows. He brought along a cue card to read after he won his match. It was simply a message that said he will be at next month’s shows in Hokkaido too.

Special rules were added to Match #2. The GM Hisaya Imabayashi was turned into a target and the first team to pin him would win the match and be given a 10,000 yen reward taken directly out of Imabayashi’s personal account. However if Imabayashi either survived the 10 minute time limit or scored a 3 count pin of his own, then both teams lose and every wrestler in the match would have to give Imabayashi 10,000 yen each. He tried to fight off all comers in the ring at first but was overwhelmed by the constant attacks. However he countered the Danshoku Driver into a Jackknife Pin to score the fall on Danshoku Dieno to beat the odds and win the match by himself.

DDT “DREAM LIGHTS ~HOW DO YOU LIKE DDT WEDNESDAY~” Results

April 15, 2026

DDT “DREAM LIGHTS ~HOW DO YOU LIKE DDT WEDNESDAY~”, 15/04/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
??? Fans – Unannounced

0. Dramatic Dark Match: Yoshihiko defeated Ilusion with the Reincarnation (15:03).
1. Jun Akiyama & Rukiya defeated Akito & Masami Inahata when Rukiya pinned Inahata with a Running Elbow Butt (7:32).
2. 3 Way Tag Match: Kazuma Sumi & Yuni defeated Danshoku Dieno & Kazuki Hirata and Naomi Yoshimura & Kumadori when Sumi submitted Hirata with a Cross Armbreaker (7:36).
3. Special 8-Man Tag Match: MAO, KANON, Viento Maligno (w/ KIMIHIRO) & Yuya Aoki defeated Shunma Katsumata, Junta Miyawaki, To-y & Yuki Ishida when KANON pinned Ishida with the GURU-GURU Driver (11:26).
4. Special Single Match: YOH defeated Antonio Honda with an Anaconda Vice (13:45).
5. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato (c) defeated Chris Brookes, HARASHIMA & Hinata Kasai when Masada pinned Kasai with the Masada No Chikara KOBU Mukimuki (12:54).
*V2 for paleyouth.
6. DDT Extreme Title – Hardcore Table Crash Match: Hideki Okatani (c) defeated Yukio Naya by Table Crash (14:40).
*V1 for Hideki Okatani.
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) defeated Yuki Iino by Referee Stoppage with a Body-Scissors Sleeper Hold (21:44).
*V7 for Yuki Ueno.

Right from the start Yuki Iino tried to take down Yuki Ueno with overwhelming power in his latest challenge for the KO-D Openweight Title. Even when Ueno tried to counter attack with high risk dives out of the ring and also from the top of the entrance to one of the seating sections. Iino caught him after that one and slammed him onto the floor before doing The Apex Elbow. Back in the ring Iino used his power to slam his way out of the Blackout Sleeper and then brought back the Bubba Bomb to set up a low angle Spear for a nearfall. There were more Spears dealt by Iino but Ueno wouldn’t stay down for long. Instead once he found the chance to grab Iino in a Sleeper Hold, Ueno fought to keep a hold of it unil Iino lost consciousness to end the match via TKO.

After the match Ueno told Iino he wants them to keep wrestling each other for the KO-D Title over and over whether it happens five years down the line, ten years down the line or even 100 years down the line! Ueno then brought up another Yuki that is in DDT. He turned to Yuki Ishida at ringside and talked about how lost he must be feeling now that Kazusada Higuchi has retired and Harimao disbanded. Ueno encouraged Ishida to give it his absolute all no matter what path he takes, because it will be the right path for him. Once he does, Ueno will look forward to the day Ishida asks him for a title shot. Backstage, Ueno also gave encouraging words about Iino. Iino recently described himself at being at his peak and it will be all downhill for him from here. Ueno disagrees because DDT has HARASHIMA, Jun Akiyama, Sanshiro Takagi and even Gorgeous Matsuno all still going to the best of their abilities that go beyond physical strength, speed and stamina. As for his next title defence, Ueno assumes it will be against the winner of the King Of DDT tournament which is why he is not entering it this year.

Hideki Okatani got what he wanted and then some when he decided to fight Yukio Naya in a Hardcore Table Crash Match. The rules allowed either a pinfall, submission or table break to decide the winner while everything else goes (barring weapons the referee would deem too dangerous). The two attacked each other with chairs and even a keyboard while the other members of Strange Love Connection built a castle of chairs outside the ring. Naya knocked it down by giving Okatani a Giant Swing into it. DAMNATION T.A interfered to stop Naya from winning, allowing Okatani to put his opponent through a table outside the ring with a Sunset Flip Power Bomb to defend the DDT Extreme Title. After the match Okatani told Naya he is truly a monster and the one who is destined to succeed after Higuchi. It is for that very reason that Okatani swears he will do whatever he can to tear Naya down! Naya accepted he lost the match but said he doesn’t have any injuries coming out of it so he will get revenge by beating Okatani in a standard match with regular rules.

We’re going to have to wait a while longer for Hinata Kasai to win his first match. He wasn’t able to do it here when FANTÔMES DRAMATIC challenged paleyouth for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles. With Chris Brookes & HARASHIMA doing what they could to neutralize Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato, it came down to Kasai trying to find some way to finish off Takeshi Masada. He put him in an STF but it didn’t work, he punched him with a closed fist to set up a Backslide Pin but that didn’t work either. Masada then quickly used the Masada No Chikara KOBU Mukimuki to pin Kasai and ensure paleyouth remain the champions. They were then challenged to a title match by MAO, KANON & Viento Maligno from SLC. That will happen on 2nd May.

When Antonio Honda and YOH worked together at the Super Sasadango Machine Vs Yasu Urano show last year, they ended up discovering they are kindred spirits. Today they met again in the ring, this time as opponents in a wrestling match. YOH cut off Honda from telling a Gongitsune joke until he also hurt his knee and decided to tell one of his own. Honda joined in so they could tell the joke together before getting back to fighting each other. Honda went into the books of Antonio Inoki and Hiroyoshi Tenzan by using their moves to try and win. But YOH fought back and made Honda give up to the Anaconda Vice. YOH told Honda that today he has finally gotten over his fear of foxes so they can do Gongitsune together again, maybe this time in New Japan? Honda loves the idea but is that ever going to happen?

Yuya Aoki made his first appearance for DDT in a long time, mixing it up with a lot of the roster in an 8-Man Tag Match. He started off squaring up with Junta Miyawaki but also got to fight Shunma Katsumata, To-y & Ishida throughout the match. Ishida tried to fight fire with fire against KANON but ended up getting burned. KANON out-Lariated him and scored the pinfall with the GURU-GURU Driver.

The appearance of Kumadori in Match #2 inspired Danshoku Dieno to come up with a special rule. Everyone agreed that Kumadori must spend the entire match inside the ring and he is forbidden from stepping outside! It was already a 3 Way Tag Match so the chaotic layout made it a little easier for him to follow the rule. He also astonished Dieno, Kazuki Hirata and Kazuma Sumi when they all grabbed him by the groin and discovered something was unusual about the size. Dieno fell into a depression until Hirata encouraged him to go into the Hell Gate position. Naomi Yoshimura and Yuni were thrown face first into it but Kumadori blocked it… with his groin. With that taken care off, Sumi put Hirata in a Cross Armbreaker to win by submission. He then told everyone that size doesn’t matter.

Rukiya got to score the pinfall in the opening match by beating the newcomer Masami Inahata. With Jun Akiyama and Akito not being able to get the advantage, Rukiya ended up hitting Inahata with a Running Elbow Butt twice. The first time was a nearfall but Inahata couldn’t kick out of the second. The two still confronted each other after the match.

The dark match was originally planned to be Sanshiro Takagi against Ilusion but Takagi is out of action with facial injuries. Ilusion had to go into the show not knowing who his new opponent would be so he demanded the match should have no time limit applied. Hisaya Imabayashi agreed to it and revealed Ilusion had to fight Yoshihiko! It was a dark match for the ages with dives and cheating galore from both wrestlers. Ilusion got to hit Yoshihiko with a chair while the ref was down and then frame Yoshihiko for using the weapon. He even gave Yoshihiko a Low Blow but couldn’t put it away with the Swanton Bomb. Yoshihiko got revenge by giving a Low Blow back to Ilusion and then scored the win by using the Reincarnation.
