The Union MAX Champion and his next challenger are teaming up for a match. But why? It’s all Isami Kodaka’s idea and is based on his history with Masahiro Takanashi. When Kodaka was the KO-D Openweight Champion in 2016, Takanashi was one of his challengers. The two teamed together before their title match. Kodaka remembers how tense it was as a champion to team with his challenger. He wants Takanashi to experience the same feeling. He has brought in what he thinks is the best team they should fight, the Speed Of Sounds!

Over in Big Japan this year’s Saikyo Tag League has been going on. Fuminori Abe entered the tournament with Takuya Nomura. The two regularly team together in BJW as Astronauts. Sadly the team only scored 6 points in their group and could not qualify for the semi-finals. So while the final rounds of the tournament is happening in Korakuen Hall, Abe and Nomura will instead be at BASARA wrestling each other.

Yuki Iino has been bench pressing 200kg as part of his training for the main event. He thought the public contract signing was a public workout so HARASHIMA was there to see his lift. The downside for this kind of training is Iino risks re-injuring his elbow before the show. He swears it is in perfect condition.

Michiaki Nakano from Souken Holdings had a sparring session with Keigo Nakamura but he got beaten pretty easily. At least the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title is now part of the Battle Royal he is entering.

Saki Akai has said the reason she is doing a 7 match series is to show her guest opponents how interesting wrestling in DDT can be. Tsukasa Fujimoto is no stranger to DDT so she is going into the match wanting to see if Akai is more than just a gorgeous looking pro wrestler. She is curious to see how Akai wrestles against her because Akai has spent almost her entire wrestling career in a company for male wrestlers.

Kazuki Hirata isn’t leaving Ganbare☆Wrestling just yet. He has unfinished business with Keisuke Ishii. A decade ago the generation that Hirata and Ishii belong to had their own rookies tournament called the Young Drama Cup. It only lasted two years. Ishii won the first one in 2009 and reached the final of the second one in 2010. Hirata entered the 2010 tournament but finished last with only a single victory. A lot has changed since then but the history of that tournament now surrounds the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title match.

Falls Count Anywhere 5 Way 6-Man Tag Match: Isami Kodaka, FUMA & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Konosuke Takeshita, MAO & Yuki Ueno, HARASHIMA, Antonio Honda & Makoto Oishi, Ken Ohka, Keisuke Ishii & Yumehito Imanari and Yuna Manase, Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa when Kodaka pinned Ueno with the Diving Double Knee Drop from the cliff into the trout pond (83:09).

Bad weather postponed the original date of the match but other than that nothing stops Campsite Pro Wrestling!

Before the advertised match began, an exhibition took place with the trainee Keigo Nakamura taking on Shunma Katsumata. The match stayed in and around the gym mats representing the ring. Katsumata won with a Texas Cloverleaf then sang “Going my ωay!!!!!～You Are Not Alone” over a megaphone.

After a performance of the Japanese national anthem, it was time for the big match to begin! The Ganbare☆Wrestling team were led by Ken Ohka wearing a gas mask. Cat’s Pye all entered standing on the back of a truck. The BASARA team looked ready to go until Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi went to the ground and laid himself out flat. Konosuke Takeshita, MAO & Yuki Ueno were all dressed in military gear as if they were about to enter a survival Battle Royal game. The other DDT team were just in their regular wrestling gear and were by default the most normal team involved.

Things got off to an odd start when FUMA chased after opponents with nunchucks while Hiroshi began doing yoga stretches. Others liked what they saw and decided to join in. Yuki Kamifuku then tried to attract everyone’s attention with her modelling poses.

Ohka had enough and went in search of another area of the park. He ended up falling into a trout pond.

Everyone came across a pitched tent. Yumehito Imanari opened it up to look inside and found Cody Hall! An angry Hall attacked Imanari and a few others for disturbing his camping experience. He wouldn’t attack the women though and they were grateful to him because of it. He went back into his tent and the wrestlers moved elsewhere.

HARASHIMA and Isami Kodaka pushed Ueno inbetween some trees until he got stuck. HARASHIMA then scared Ueno by placing bugs on him.

All three women on Cat’s Pye climbed onto the roof of a nearby shack. They all encouraged each other to dive off onto everyone below. Only Mina Shirakawa went through with it. Kamifuku & Yuna Manase tricked her into jumping by saying they would all go together. They just stayed in place when Shirakawa jumped.

A large chain of wrestling holds between everyone took them up a hill where Hiroshi and Antonio Honda were seen meditating together. Hiroshi led everyone in a stretching exercise then demanded 3,500 yen from each person for the class fee.

FUMA found another tent and threatened whoever was inside to come out. It was SAGAT! He was supposed to be in the match on the original date but went ill with the flu. Now that it was postponed until today, he got recovered but never got invited back! He attacked his supposed teammates Kodaka & FUMA. They retaliated by burning down his tent!

The match went through a new route and Imanari found somewhere familiar. It was the hut he hid in during last year’s match when everybody shot fireworks at him! He told everyone it was his house and tried to step in. Unfortunately for him it was already occupied by Cody Hall! He threatened Imanari but calmed down when he saw Shirakawa, picking up a flower for her.

With everybody paying attention to Hall, Imanari took Manase hostage and hid inside the hut. He threatened to start filming movies of Manase but everybody shot fireworks at them until he let her go.

MAO and HARASHIMA fought by a small waterfall and both tried to down each other in it. Ueno and FUMA fought on top of a roof with Kodaka shooting fireworks at them. Ueno finally had enough and climbed down to the ground. It was here where he found something shocking.

Ueno saw a fence in the distance where both Kamifuku and Shirakawa were found strangled to death with nooses! Ueno asked who could have done such a thing. Imanari suddenly turned detective and found pieces of the girls’ costumes in Ueno’s pocket. Ueno grabbed Imanari and tried to strangle him. Imanari was rescued when Makoto Oishi struck Ueno over the head with a rock.

Oishi then went over to Kamifuku and Shirakawa and tried to revive them. They woke up, yelled “We’re zombies!” then chased after him.

MAO successfully used his gilly suit to hide away from the action and ambush Kodaka.

FUMA jumped off a tree to put Imanari through a table.

MAO used his gilly suit again to scare Keisuke Ishii off the roof of a hut. He then Moonsaulted onto everyone.

The match moved back to the starting area where the BASARA team continued to shoot fireworks at their opponents. Ohka & Imanari fought back by spraying fire extinguishers at them.

Imanari found the truck that Cat’s Pye entered in. He wanted to drive it but found out Cody Hall was in the driver’s seat! Hall attacked Imanari while Ohka got in the truck and drove into his opponents.

The truck was stopped single handedly by Takeshita. He stopped the truck in its tracks and even pushed it backwards.

Ishii attacked Takeshita and held him in front of the pond. Ohka charged over to do the Flame Spear but Takeshita got out of the way and Ohka plunged into the pond.

One by one everyone got thrown or slammed into the pond. It ended with Kodaka jumping off a cliff and hitting the Diving Double Knee Drop onto everyone in the pond below. He pinned Ueno in the water to give Team BASARA the victory after one hour and twenty minutes!

Kodaka said that this might be his last Campsite Match because BASARA will be leaving the DDT family soon. If it is then he is glad to have been rewarded with the win today. Meanwhile MAO found a gun that shot fireworks and fired it at the trainees for everyone’s entertainment. SAGAT tried to stop him with the Goregrind but MAO jumped out of the way. SAGAT landed in the campfire, again for everyone’s entertainment.

If he wins here then he will tie Ishii’s amount of successful defences.

Just to be clear, Kenichiro Arai is the Toryumon graduate and Yumehito Imanari is the art student.

Shota and Shinichiro Tominaga face each other in a battle between damaged ACLs.

Originally Koharu Hinata was booked for the show but she is now unable to appear. In a completely unrelated matter Miss Koharu became available so she takes her place.

Nakajima’s excursion to Mexico with CMLL will be over by the time this show takes place. No word yet on if she will be on this show but it’s likely. Tokyo Joshi have confirmed she will not be on the 9th, 10th and 16th November shows.

A few injuries during the week alters tomorrow’s card. The light one is Sanshiro Takagi. He injured his right eye and is missing this show. The bad injury happened to Kazusada Higuchi during yesterday’s “UNIVERSE.1” show. He tore his right PCL and has no timetable for a return. He does not need surgery and will be aiming to recover as soon as possible. Ryota Nakatsu takes Higuchi’s place in Match #3.

Ever since Misao shed her superhero persona and joined NEO Biishiki-gun she has gone from strength to strength.

I wonder if Sakisama holds a grudge with Yuki Kamifuku over her attempt to join NEO Biishiki-gun last year? Kamifuku joined the unit as an apprentice last May then quit after two weeks when she figured out it was a bad fit for her.

Miu Watanabe Vs Hikari Noa is a match to watch out for. The two members of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) have developed so much in the ring this year and part of the reason why is they branched out to other tag teams outside of their unit (Momoiro Sparkling for Watanabe and Pandemic Boo-Boo for Noa). Gotta be honest here, I think Raku is in danger of never catching up to them.

Ohka’s example is the jacket and ten gallon hat he wore during his absence from Ganpro shows last year.

Cody Hall is the mystery wrestler in the opener. He met Antonio Honda and got along with him because the Gongitsune hand gesture resembles the Wolfpac gesture that Cody’s dad Scott Hall is known for.

The BOYZ brand is getting a fresh start under Akito’s management. Wrestlers booked on the first show will also be appearing at the SHIBUYA FASHION AWARD-BE Vint-Age 2019 festival the same day to promote a fashion brand called Yukihero Pro Wrestling. The main event will feature the wrestlers involved wearing costumes from that clothing line.

Akito doesn’t remember ever seeing MAO wrestle Takeshita in a singles match so he decided to book it before MAO’s excursion. Kouki Iwasaki is being booked on BOYZ because Akito wants to see him interact with DDT wrestlers more often. Higuchi and Yuki Iino are also being booked despite their alliance to the YaroZ brand. Akito believes there are women at these shows who find those kind of men attractive too. Akito plans to present them in a way that makes them more suitable for the BOYZ brand. DAMNATION wrestlers are disallowed except for Nobuhiro Shimatani because he works under Akito at the Drop Kick Bar.

The second Ganbare☆Wrestling show of the day began in a Fresh Akiyama store is Air Park Town. The store manager brought out a title belt and said he would give the Air Town Park Championship to the winner of the match.

The match began with Keisuke Ishii and Shuhei Washida fighting their way into the shop while Shota and Ken Ohka fought next to the fans outside.

Inside the shop Ishii found a Jushin Liger mask and put it on. He tried to give Washida the Liger Bomb onto the ground but Washida escaped. The two then got into a Chop Battle on their way into a nearby bar.

The two teams got back together outside the shop with fruit and vegetables. Ishii placed a watermelon on the ground in between Ohka & Washida. He challenged Shota to break the watermelon with a stick while blindfolded. He tried but hit Ohka by accident. Washida then gave it a go and he too hit Ohka by accident.

The teams found carriages nearby and crashed them into each other. A chef then appeared with a plate of green curry. Ohka & Washida forced Ishii & Shota to eat the spicy curry.

Washida held Ishii in place for Ohka to attack him. Ohka charged in but Shota threw a banana peel in front of Ohka and he slipped on it. Ishii then Suplexed Washida onto some boxes.

Ishii grabbed a shop sign advertising the shop’s first anniversary and hit Washida over the head with it. He then put Washida in the Double Arm Neck Lock. Washida tried not to submit but when Shota forced a Carolina Reaper pepper into his mouth, Washida gave up.

The store manager presented Ishii with the Air Park Title for winning the match. Ishii said today was fun and now he got to spread the word of Ganpro in Tokorozawa as a champion. Ohka ended the night by shouting “Ganbare☆Tokorozawa!”

The trainee Izumi is now Suzume! The debuting wrestler was born in Ibaraki on 27th November, 1998. She is 152cm tall and her blood type is A. Suzume became a fan of Tokyo Joshi Pro when one of her friends invited her along to see a show. She moved to Tokyo to join the company and has been training for around 7 months. There’s no mention of any athletic background in her profile but she put illustrations down as her special skill. So at least we know she’ll become a wrestler who can draw (oh come on you knew I would make that joke).

The team of Miyu Yamashita & Miu Watanabe are now called Momoiro Sparkling.

DDT’s visit to the Tokyo Idol Festival began with the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) performing on the SMILE GARDEN Stage. They wanted to continue singing but Danshoku Dieno came out and told them it was time to start the Battle Royal. The competitors made their entrances with the Idol Army being led by Sanshiro Takagi. They were also armed with toy hammers.

The match began and the ten minute time limit counted down. Makoto Oishi grabbed the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and hit Yukio Sakaguchi over the head with it. Oishi pinned Sakaguchi and became the new champion.

He fled from the stage and made his way over to the seating area. The idols caught up with him and Rise Shiokawa from Transfer Girls* hit him with her hammer. She applied a Reverse Palo Special while Dieno performed the Danshoku Nightmare 3D into Oishi’s face. Oishi gave up and Shiokawa was the new champion.

Dieno quickly put Shiokawa in an Iron Claw and won the belt when she submitted.

Sakaguchi reappeared and gave Dieno a Penalty Kick. Sakaguchi was chased away but Dieno was left sitting on the ground. Aika Sawaguchi from dela came over and hit a Low Kick to Dieno’s back. That was enough to get the pin and win her the title.

Sawaguchi’s reign didn’t last long. Maki Itoh put her in a Sleeper Hold to become the new champion.

The Up Up Girls caught up with Itoh and the Idol Army followed. Takagi instructed Natsume Misaki from chuLa to give Itoh a Running Elbow smash. That did the trick and the belt moved over to Misaki.

Again an idol title reign only lasted a few seconds. Dieno came back and used another Iron Claw to regain the championship.

Dieno quickly lost the belt when Oishi tricked him into taking a selfie together. Oishi used his chance to pin Dieno with a School Boy.

Despite the betrayal Dieno and Oishi were still on good terms. They brought out a ladder and Dieno agreed to climb it and go into the Hell Gate position. Sakaguchi stopped Oishi from pushing Shiokawa into the Hell Gate. However the Idol Army knocked down Sakaguchi and joined together with the Up Up Girls to do one large Good Night Express. Even Yukio Naya got to be involved in it!

Some of the idols pushed Sakaguchi face first into the Hell Gate, this time with the back of Dieno’s tights pulled down. Oishi tried to do the same to Itoh but she stopped herself by catching her fingers in Dieno’s ass! She stuck her fingers under Oishi’s nose to dizzy him. Takagi told Momomi Wagatsuma from Hakoiri♡Musume to hit Oishi with an Axe Bomber. She then made Oishi tap out to a Crab Hold one second before the time expired! Wagatsuma was declared the winner of the Battle Royal and the new Iron Man Champion!

Everyone got together after the match to pose for a group photo.

That wasn’t the end of it though. An interview backstage with Takagi and the Idol Army was interrupted when Itoh attacked Wagatsuma! She put her in a Sleeper Hold and made her give up to win the belt.

Itoh’s celebration was short lived because Sakaguchi then came in and choked her out with his own Sleeper Hold. The day ended as it began, with Yukio Sakaguchi as the Iron Man Champion.

One more thing, Takagi encouraged the Idol Army to become pro wrestlers. He asked them if they’ve seen any wrestling shows before. Sawaguchi said she likes Dragon Gate. Never mind then!

The stage was set for DDT to cause more mayhem at the HandMade In Japan Festival. Kazusada Higuchi & MAO brought out chairs and fighting already broke out while Kazuki Hirata danced his way over to the stage.

The match quickly moved to the Music & Play area of the festival. HARASHIMA dropped a kid on Kota Umeda. Elsewhere Sanshiro Takagi and MAO swung chairs at each other, some of them hitting pillars when they missed their target.

The six wrestlers got back together to trade submission holds. There was a point where Umeda, Higuchi and MAO all put HARASHIMA, Takagi and Hirata in Octopus Holds all at the same time. Higuchi and Takagi later lifted Hirata and MAO into Argentine Backbreakers and carried them over to the live event area in the central lobby.

It was here where HARASHIMA did his usual trick of attacking his opponents with traffic cones over his arms. MAO did a Moonsault off of a vending machine and then everyone went back to the Music & Play area. Higuchi found a table to throw at the others but HARASHIMA squashed him and MAO beneath it with a Somato.

Takagi entered the scene on the Dramatic Dream Cycle with Keigo Nakamura positioned behind him acting like a yankee. He hit everyone with a baseball bat when Takagi cycled past them until Hirata made the bike crash.

MAO stole the Dramatic Dream and crashed it with Higuchi into a castle of chairs by the stage. Hirata picked up one of the chairs but Umeda came along and kicked it into his face. Umeda then hit the Penalty Kick and pinned Hirata for the three count.

Takagi asked the event organiser when next year’s festival will take place. He was told that the date is currently under consideration because of the 2020 Olympics. Takagi said DDT is going through the same problem but what they do have planned is the Saitama Super Arena show on 7th June!
