1. Wakana Uehara & Shino Suzuki defeated Haru Kazashiro & Chika Nanase when Suzuki submitted Nanase with a Body Choke Sleeper Hold (10:12).
2. 3 Way Match: Mizuki defeated Raku and Uta Takami when Mizuki pinned Takami with a Roll Up (7:38).
3. Kaya Toribami defeated Yoshiko Hasegawa with the Sento Choryu (8:36).
4. Rika Tatsumi & Arisu Endo defeated Miki Fortune & Kira Summer when Tatsumi pinned Summer with the Twist Of Fate (10:04).
5. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Round 1: Toga defeated HIMAWARI with the Rock Bottom (10:19).
6. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh defeated Mahiro Kiryu & Moka Miyamoto when Itoh submitted Miyamoto with the Itoh Punish (13:16).
7. Miu Watanabe & Suzume defeated Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku when Watanabe pinned Harajuku with the Tear Drop (14:32).

Autumn is the season for art in Japan so Pom Harajuku drew a portrait of Miu Watanabe for the main event. She then took out a blank canvas and asked Watanabe to draw a portait of her in return but it was just so she could roll her up from behind for a nearfall. Harajuku then hit Watanabe over the head with the canvas and used the frame to trap her and Suzume together. Later Suzume landed a Plancha onto Yuki Aino and Watanabe scored the three count on Harajuku with the Tear Drop. After the match Suzume admitted art was is a bit difficult for her.

A few days ago Tokyo Joshi Pro announced 121000000 will defend the Princess Tag Team Titles against Vert Vixen and Nicole Matthews in Seattle on 9th November. They used today’s match as a warmup to see just how sync they are at the moment. Itoh said she still has trauma from losing the Princess Tag Titles the first time around in Los Angeles so she won’t let her guard down. Yamashita told her the match will be in Seattle this time so she needn’t worry about the trauma anymore.

Kira Summer and her visiting sister Miki Fortune teamed together in TJPW for the first time. Together their team name is Chaos Hunt! However the closely knit duo lost to Rika Tatsumi & Arisu Endo when Endo threw away Fortune with the Waterwheel Drop leaving Tatsumi to pin Summer with the Twist Of Fate. Chaos Hunt were still happy with how the match went and think they showed the fans what their natural tag team chemistry is like. A reporter later asked them if they would like to have a singles match against each other. Fortune is up for it but Summer knows her sister would kill her and she’d rather stay in one piece.

The Next Generation Tournament began with a bit of an upset because one of last year’s finalists has already been eliminated! HIMAWARI won’t be repeating her success here after Toga beat her with the Rock Bottom. Toga said she felt the pressure of being in the tournament opening match especially one that fans were expecting to be good. HIMAWARI said she wasn’t taking the tournament lightly at all but she learned a harsh lesson that everyone else is growing just as much as she is. She will now face the winner of Shino Suzuki versus Kira Summer in the semi-final.

The match for Haruna Neko’s comeback on 27th October has been announced. She will team with Suzume & Mahiro Kiryu to take on Love Triangle.

4. Rika Tatsumi & Arisu Endo Vs Miki Fortune & Kira Summer
5. Yoshiko Hasegawa Vs Kaya Toribami
6. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh Vs Mahiro Kiryu & Moka Miyamoto
7. Miu Watanabe & Suzume Vs Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku

It’s been so long since TJPW had a tag team of sisters. Kira Summer is bringing over her sister Miki Fortune to team up together. Fortune’s a bit of a wild one so anyone expecting her to act just like Summer will be in for a surprise.

The Next Generation Tournament begins with on this show.

Shoko Nakajima will be in America for Deadlock Pro competing in the Battle Of The Best final so she will be missing this show. Yuki Kamifuku will also be absent because she will be defending the Asian Double Crown over in the Philippines.

DDT “THE LAST BEER GARDEN PRO WRESTLING OF 2024”, 17/10/2024
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

DDT “DDT PRO WRESTLING IN IKEBUKURO FULL MOON FESTIVAL 2024”, 19/10/2024

A team of five from DDT’s new generation are going to challenge for the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles. SCHADENFREUDE have Takayuki Ueki subbing in for Antonio Honda but he was part of the team when they originally won the belts anyway. So it may as well be the champions entering the match at full force.

MIKAMI makes another DDT appearance this year.

One day before the DDT Extreme Title is defended, Akito and Danshoku Dieno are facing off in a wacky tag match with Pokotan and Yoshihiko also involved. The stipulation for the title match hasn’t been chosen yet but it would be leaving it very late if this match is meant to set it up.

5. DDT Extreme Title: Akito (c) Vs Danshoku Dieno
6. KO-D Openweight Title: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs HARASHIMA

I bet it will have changed by the time this show happens but the two remaining Right To Challenge Shields are both currently being held by Soma Takao.

DDT “AKOS X DDT EKIMAE PRO WRESTLING”, 26/10/2024

3. The 37KAMIINA Vs SCHADENFREUDE International!: Yuki Ueno, MAO & To-y Vs Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Takeshi Masada

DDT is holding a few matches at a shopping area in Saitama. It is an outdoor show so bad weather on the day could cancel the event. The show notes say it can go ahead if it’s light rain but anything that can be described as stormy will call it off.

DDT “CHARISMANIA”, 06/11/2024
Shinjuku FACE

1. KUBITO & Naohiro Katsumi 19th Anniversary Match: KUBITO Vs Naohiro Katsumi
2. The Greatest Wrestling Match Of CHARISMANIA: Daisuke Sasaki & Yuko Miyamoto Vs Dick Togo & Minoru Fujita

So many people who have links to Daisuke Sasaki are coming to “CHARISMANIA”. He is teaming with Yuko Miyamoto to face his mentors Dick Togo & Minoru Fujita. Also KUBITO and Naohiro Katsumi will have a match together to commemorate Togo’s old wrestling school called SUPER CREW. The two of them along with Sasaki were part of the school’s first graduating class.

Next Generation Tournament ’24 Brackets

October 4, 2024

A draw was held today to determine the bracket for the upcoming Next Generation Tournament starting this month. There was also the announced that the winner of this year’s tournament will be rewarded with a future championship match. They will get to choose if they want a shot at the Princess Of Princess Title, the Princess Tag Team Titles or the International Princess Title.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE TOUR 2024 AUTUMN”, 13/10/2024
Saitama Kasukabe Fureai Cube

1. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Round 1A: Toga Vs HIMAWARI

One of last year’s finalists opens up the tournament this time around. HIMAWARI is nervous but fired herself back up after Toga said she can only see herself winning this match. Toga also said the tournament feels fresher this year because of the inclusion of the 2024 Class.

1. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Round 1B: Shino Suzuki Vs Kira Summer

The announcement of this year’s tournament is bittersweet for Shino Suzuki because it reminds her that she watched last year’s final from ringside. It will be her first time wrestling somebody from the 2024 Class in a singles match and she is certain she has skills that Kira Summer does not have. Summer agrees that she is lacking in experience but believes in her own strength that she can win.

1. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Round 1C: Haru Kazashiro Vs Uta Takami

Just like Suzuki, Haru Kazashiro does not want to be standing in the sidelines watching the final again. She is determined not to lose in the 1st Round again and the reveal that the tournament winner gets a title shot is motivating her even more. Uta Takami is excited to enter her first tournament. It also makes her happy that her first opponent is Kazashiro and the match will be at Ryogoku KFC Hall because she loves both of them. She also said she is good at Rock-Paper-Scissors and that’s a good thing because luck might be a factor in who goes through.

1. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Round 1D: Wakana Uehara Vs Chika Nanase

Round 1 closes out with last year’s winner Wakana Uehara aiming to go two in a row. She wrestled Chika Nanase in a singles match back in June and sensed she has a hidden power, so she can be a threat. Nanase felt scared of this match at first but realised how big of an opportunity it is. You never know what will happen in pro wrestling so Nanase made it her goal to beat Uehara and knock her out of the tournament!

1. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Semi Final: Winner Of Match 1A Vs Winner Of Match 1B
2. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Semi Final: Winner Of Match 1C Vs Winner Of Match 1D

The first semi-final will be the winner of Toga/HIMAWARI against the winner of Suzuki/Summer. The second semi-final is the winner of Kazashiro/Takami against the winner of Uehara/Nanase. We could get a rematch from last year’s tournament depending on how the results go. HIMAWARI Vs Suzuki perhaps?

1. Next Generation Tournament ’24 – Final: X Vs X

The final will determine who will be the next challenger for one of the Princess Championships. Uehara and HIMAWARI could meet each other in the final again for the second year in a row. What if Toga gets a chance at revenge on Uehara or maybe even Kazashiro settles the score with HIMAWARI?

Last year Tokyo Joshi Pro held the Next Generation Tournament to showcase the 2023 rookie class during the promotion’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The tournament returns this year to showcase the same class as well as the class that debuted this year. The entries from the 2023 Class are HIMAWARI, last year’s winner Wakana Uehara, Toga, Shino Suzuki and Haru Kazashiro. The entries from the 2024 Class are Chika Nanase, Kira Summer and Uta Takami. Unfortunately Runa Okubo from the 2023 Class is currently out of action and will not be entering the tournament.

December 17, 2023

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT ’23 ~KASUKABE PERFORMANCE~”, 17/12/2023
Saitama Kasukabe Fureai Cube
210 Fans

1. Arisu Endo defeated Haru Kazashiro with the Camel Clutch (5:28).
2. Suzume defeated HIMAWARI with the Ring A Bell (6:43).
3. Shoko Nakajima defeated Toga with the Unmanned Local Train Hold (5:36).
4. 3 Way Match: Yuki Kamifuku defeated Shino Suzuki and Runa Okubo when Kamifuku submitted Okubo with the Manjigatame (5:56).
5. Raku Vs Juria Nagano ended in a Time Limit Draw (7:00).
6. Love Is The Mystery Rules: Hyper Misao defeated Kaya Toribami when Misao correctly answered the quiz question (5:51).
7. Mahiro Kiryu Vs Wakana Uehara ended in a Time Limit Draw (7:00).
8. Yuki Aino defeated Pom Harajuku with the Venus DDT (5:05).
9. Maki Itoh Vs Hikari Noa ended in a Time Limit Draw (7:00).
10. Miu Watanabe defeated Moka Miyamoto with the Tear Drop (6:13).

All of the matches on today’s show were previously put together by a fan lottery. Every bout was also given a seven minute time limit. The main event was a rematch of an International Princess Title defence from October 2022 with Miu Watanabe defeating Moka Miyamoto. Watanabe said when she found out about the match she thought 7 minutes would not be enough between them so she was happy to beat Miyamoto in under that time. Miyamoto hoped she could win because she has grown so much since their previous singles match. She found out the hard way that Watanabe has grown too. She would like another rematch some day.

Maki Itoh’s latest return from America has her ready and waiting for the match against Rina Yamashita on 4th January. First she had to get past Hikari Noa but the match reached the time limit right after Noa did the Blizzard Suplex. Backstage Itoh was asked if her match against Yamashita will be held under normal rules? She said if her opponent uses a weapon then she will too. She always keeps a pizza cutter in her suitcase for that very reason.

The match between Yuki Aino and Pom Harajuku was all about Raku. Surprise, surprise. Harajuku wore a paper mask of Raku’s face when the match begun and Aino wanted to take it for herself. Harajuku then grabbed one of Raku’s photos at the merch table to distract Aino. It worked for a bit but Aino regained control and pinned Harajuku with the Venus DDT. The actual Raku gave the paper mask of her face to Aino as her prize for winning.

Hyper Misao wanted to learn more about Kaya Toribami while they fought each other so they agreed to have a Love Is The Mystery Rules match. After every 2 count pin the wrestler would be asked a quiz question about their opponent. Get it right and they win the match. Get it wrong and then music will begin playing for a short period of time. During that time the opponent only needs to pin you for a 1 count to get a quiz question and their chance to win. Misao scored every fall but answered wrong for questions about what item Toribami never lost and which side of Japan was she born in? Misao finally got a question right when she correctly guessed the name of the elementary school Toribami went to.

At the start of the show it was announced that Free WiFi will defend the Princess Tag Team Titles against Daisy Monkey on 4th January. Suzume said she always wanted to win the championship that has belonged to the strongest tag team in Tokyo Joshi Pro. She thought that one day it will belong to her and Arisu Endo. It’s no longer going to be some day, it is going to be now! Noa said she and Nao Kakuta have defended the titles against three teams all different from each other. But Daisy Monkey are the first team they will face that have been around for a while.

The fan lottery was held yesterday to determine the matchups. Maki Itoh Vs Hikari Noa main events the show but the other match to take note of is Yuki Aino Vs Pom Harajuku. The two of them have spent the last year closely linked together along with Raku so that friendship needs to be pushed aside for up to seven minutes.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’24”, 04/01/2024
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Aja Kong Vs Wakana Uehara
2. Rina Yamashita Vs Maki Itoh
3. International Princess Title: Max The Impaler (c) Vs Yuki Arai
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Masha Slamovich

The two new matches announced for the Tokyo Joshi Pro Ittenyon show can all be traced back to this year’s Ittenyon show. Max The Impaler will defend the International Princess Title against Yuki Arai. This past January Max took the Princess Tag Team Titles from Arai. But now one year later the roles will be reversed and Arai has a chance to beat Max to take away their championship.

On the first anniversary of her pro debut, Wakana Uehara gets to fight Aja Kong! This is the Uehara’s reward for winning the Next Generation Tournament. The two have a little bit of history going back to before Uehara’s debut. When she was on the Youtube series Yume Pro Wrestling -dream on the ring- there was an episode with Kong as the special guest trainer. Then at “WRESTLE PRINCESS IV” in October Kong beat Uehara in a 6-Woman Tag match. Uehara is still excited for the match though and wants to show Kong how much she has grown as a wrestler.

DDT “SWEET DREAMS! 2024”, 28/01/2024
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Special Single Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Naruki Doi

DDT announced the first two dates for Konosuke Takeshita’s return in 2024. The first is a big singles match against Naruki Doi on DDT’s second Korakuen Hall show of the year. The second date is for “JUDGEMENT 2024” at Korakuen on 17th March.

Bryan Keith is coming to DDT in January! “The Bounty Hunter” will be at shows on 20th, 21st and 28th January. The announcement of his appearance immediately got MAO’s attention. They fought each other at West Coast Pro in America back in July with Keith coming out as the winner. MAO wants to avenge that loss and might use the DDT Universal Title as the reward to convince Keith into taking a rematch.

8. All Asia Tag Team Titles: Yukio Sakaguchi & Hideki Okatani (c) Vs Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada

We’re around the halfway point of the D-Oh Grand Prix. It’s too early to predict how the A Block is going to go. The B Block is a different manner. If Yukio Naya beats KANON then only MAO can potentially compete with him for the spot in the final. Rei Saito can also catch up on points but Naya already has the tiebreaker advantage over him. It’s a must win for KANON to remain in the race. Chris Brookes is teetering on the edge while Kazuki Hirata is the first wrestler who is already mathematically out of the tournament.

DDT “SWEET DREAMS! 2024 TOUR IN SHINJUKU”, 05/01/2024
Shinjuku FACE

1. KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno, MAO, Shunma Katsumata, Toy Kojima & Yoshihiko (c) Vs Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi, Antonio Honda, Takeshi Masada & Mecha Mummy

Over the weekend SCHADENFREUDE International made it known they want to fight for the dormant KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles. They even have Mecha Mummy with them to be the fifth member of their team. The titles still belong to The 37KAMIINA & Shinya Aoki despite not being defended since June 2022. The match is booked for 5th January but DDT found out Aoki is currently unavailable because he is busy training for an MMA fight against Sage Northcutt. Luckily the championship has a rule where the champion team can temporarily replace up to two members and still be eligible to defend the titles. For this match Aoki is being replaced by Yoshihiko! For statistical purposes, should the champions win it counts as a successful defence for Aoki not Yoshihiko.

January 29, 2023

Saitama Kasukabe Fureai Cube
251 Fans – No Vacancy

1. Mahiro Kiryu defeated HIMAWARI with the Spinebuster (6:50).
2. Mizuki defeated Wakana Uehara with the Face Lock (9:07).
3. 3 Way Match: Raku defeated Yuki Aino and Haruna Neko when Raku pinned Neko with the Doctor Yellow (7:17).
4. Yuki Arai, Suzume & Arisu Endo defeated Hikari Noa, Nao Kakuta & Kaya Toribami when Suzume pinned Toribami with the Ring A Bell (12:44).
5. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Semi-Final: Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh defeated Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano when Itoh submitted Nagano with the Itoh Punish (14:34).
6. “Futari wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament – Semi-Final: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao defeated Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe when Nakajima pinned Tatsumi with the Diving Senton (16:55).

The semi-finals of the Max Heart Tournament was the focus of today’s show. In the main event last year’s winners Daydream were taken out of the tournament by Kyoraku Kyomei! It accomplished the goal Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao set out to achieve which was getting revenge for losing to Daydream in last year’s tournament. It could have gone the other way if Nakajima couldn’t have gutted through a leg injury that became a target for Rika Tatsumi to focus on. Misao played her part by facing off against Miu Watanabe and saving her partner from the Daydream Eternity. Nakajima recovered enough to hit Watanabe with a Topé Suicida and pin Tasumi with the Diving Senton. Backstage Tatsumi said she is treating the result as a point of reflection because she wants to follow her dreams and Watanabe has another dream she wants to chase. Watanabe told her she will still be daydreaming while she does that.

The other semi final had 121000000 advance at the expense of Karate Tag. It was a spirited effort from Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano. They both trapped Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh in submission holds then Miyamoto used the Zero Fighter Kick on Yamashita to get her out of the way. Nagano switched to using Karate kicks on Itoh but Itoh dodged the Senpukyaku, fired back with a Headbutt and locked in the Itoh Punish for the victory. Nagano said afterwards she gave 100% and was at the limit of what she could do. Karate Tag lost today but she wants to continue working with Miyamoto so they can become a stronger team. Miyamoto agrees that they have grown a lot as a team in the tournament.

At the end of the show 121000000 entered the ring to confront Kyoraku Kyomei. Nakajima told them that today she learned Hero + Kaiju equals an unbeatable combination! Misao asked if Yamashita & Itoh have the guts to fight a hero and a monster? Itoh’s response was to ask the audience who the cutest in the world is but Misao cut her off. Kyoraku Kyomei won the main event so they should be the ones giving the show closing speech. After 121000000 left the ring, Nakajima told the fans she lost her championship last year but she didn’t lose today because she has a superhero next to her. Misao in return said she trusts Nakajima more than anyone else and Kyoraku Kyomei will win the Max Heart Tournament on 11th February!

Pom Harajuku was unable to be on the show today. Her tag match was turned into a 3 Way Match with the remaining competitors.
