1. DDT Extreme Title – No DQ Falls Count Anywhere Match: Chris Brookes (c) defeated Mecha Mummy with a Jackknife Pin in the children’s pool (12:14).
*V1 for Chris Brookes.
2. MEN’S Teioh, Hagane Shinno & Makoto Oishi defeated Yuki Ueno, MAO & Keigo Nakamura when Teioh pinned Nakamura after the Triple Ecstasy (13:21).
3. HARASHIMA defeated Baliyan Akki with the Somato (16:08).
The third DDT show produced in the English language for international viewers begun with the DDT Extreme Title match. The champion Chris Brookes was accompanied by Masahiro Takanashi while the challenger Mecha Mummy had a professor wearing an eyepatch by his side to overlook its performance. Brookes had the gameplan figured out. He just needed to splash water onto Mummy to make it short circuit. However Mummy was waterproofed with a face shield and wasn’t in danger. Brookes then tried using a water gun but Mummy quickly grabbed it off him and destroyed it. The Mecha Fist and Jet Scrambler were used by both wrestlers as the fight broke out around ringside. Brookes was in serious trouble when Mummy stabbed him with the Mecha Drill. Takanashi came to the rescue by pouring a can of beer over Mummy to make it short circuit. Brookes then knocked Mummy into a nearby pool with the Rocket Punch and pinned it with a Jackknife for his first successful title defence.
Mecha Mummy recovered after the match and assaulted Brookes. Suddenly a rival from Mummy’s past appeared from the stage. It was Mokujin Ken! After a staredown with much visible shaking, Mummy and Ken started fighting each other. Everyone tried to pull them apart but the broadcast got cut off.
For one night only the MEN’S Club was revived and given a chance to show the young generation what they are still made of. MEN’S Teioh wrestled throughout with a smile on his face, getting Hagane Shinno & Makoto Oishi to join in for group poses. When their opponents took control Yuki Ueno & MAO did their own poses to get one back on them. MEN’S Club had the last laugh in the end. Teioh gave Keigo Nakamura the Miracle Ecstasy but the pin was broken up. So the MEN’S Club all got together to give Nakamura the Triple Ecstasy for the finish, pose included.
Baliyan Akki was given the main event spotlight again after his impressive performance against Konosuke Takeshita back in February. This time he was pitted against HARASHIMA. They got tangled up together with dual Ankle Holds and the stalemate was broken up when Akki hit a Topé Con Hilo to the outside. HARASHIMA tried using his strikes to fight back but was almost beaten with the Firebird Splash. HARASHIMA used his knees to block the Namaste Press but Akki was able to catch the Somato for a submission attempt. HARASHIMA reach the ropes and won a strike exchange, finishing Akki off with a Super Kick, the Reverse Frankensteiner and then the Somato for the victory.
Brookes and Mr. HAKU held an English roundtable with Akki, MAO and Ueno after the show. Brookes said whenever he books shows, he does not want to be the main character. He prefers to put the spotlight on other wrestlers. He doesn’t know what is going to happen at the next show between Mecha Mummy and Mokujin Ken. He is at least relieved that Ken came to the rescue, otherwise the next show would have become a Mecha Mummy produce with everyone turned into mecha wrestlers. For the MEN’S Club match Brookes said he has always been a fan of the unit after watching loads of Big Japan shows. He watched one of their matches with MAO recently and learned that MAO is also a fan. MAO was happy to do the match because his style is the 2000s Jr. Heavyweight wrestling that came from the likes of Michinoku Pro and Toryumon. Ueno then had to be part of the match because he is MAO’s stablemate. Nakamura was the third wrestler added because the original choice had a scheduling conflict. For the main event Brookes wanted to see Akki in a different environment. Drew Parker came up with the idea to do Akki Vs HARASHIMA. Akki promised to get beers for Parker the next time he sees him as long as Parker doesn’t show up bloody.

1. Chris Brookes & Miyu Yamashita defeated Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata when Brookes pinned Katsumata with the Praying Mantis Bomb (21:25).
2. ROBOT Vs HERO: Mecha Mummy Vs Hyper Misao ended in a No Contest (8:53).
3. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Baliyan Akki with the German Suplex (16:48).
Just like last time, almost the entire show is already in English so I don’t know what you’re doing here. But don’t go, here’s a write up anyway! The show began with “CDK” walking out for a welcoming introduction. “Masahiro Takanashi” talked to the camera while “Chris Brookes” stood beside him flipping up the two fingers. The real CDK entered the ring behind them and scared “Brookes” off while “Takanashi” was still talking. The real Chris Brookes asked Shota what he was doing and Shota accused the real Masahiro Takanashi of being fake. Takanashi grabbed Shota by the nose and knocked him out with a punch. CDK then introduced the show properly.
Backstage the DDT Sauna Club declared their love for saunas in English. Brookes said he wants revenge on both of his opponents today. He wants revenge on Yuki Ueno for taking the DDT UNIVERSAL Title from him and he wants revenge on Shunma Katsumata for that time he got him banned from Twitter. His tag partner today Miyu Yamashita only had one thing to say about the upcoming match. “Don’t touch my chin!!” The Sauna Club ignored her warning with Ueno grabbing Yamashita in a Chinlock and Katsumata giving her a Chincrusher. Brookes cut him off with a Slingshot Cutter and Yamashita fired back with the Crash Rabbit Heat. She would have pinned Katsumata if Ueno didn’t break it up in time. Brookes got rid of Ueno outside the ring with a Running Knee Strike and tagged in. Yamashita hit Katsumata with the Skull Kick and Brookes immediately dropped him with the Praying Mantis Bomb to win the match.
The superhero Hyper Misao was in a Falls Count Anywhere match but she was confused over what her opponent was. What is a Mecha Mummy? It is probably an evil monster so she must kill it. Mecha Mummy did not give a pre-match comment. It only shook. In the ring, Mummy hit Misao with Rocket Punches and then attacked her with the Drill. Misao stalled Mummy with a spray attack so she could escape backstage to regroup. After a transformation, Misao returned to the ring as Mecha Pami! She attacked Mummy with her own drills then chased the robot around ringside on the Hyper Mobile. She found a Holy Sword at ringside but Mummy blinded her with powder when she tried to use it. Mummy connected the Jet Scrambler to its back to hit a Diving Attack for a nearfall. Misao escaped the ring again only to get both the Jet Scrambler and Rocket Fist thrown at her. The two fighters dueled at the entrance way and Pami threw Mummy into a nearby castle of chairs. Desperate, Pami grabbed two bottles of water knowing it was Mummy’s weakness. However, Pami was now a Mecha too so it was also her weakness. They both poured water over each other and short circuited. As smoke flowed through the arena from the two motionless robots, Daisuke Kiso called off the match.
When the risk of exploding mechas went away, it was time for the main event. It’s been a while since Baliyan Akki last wrestled on a DDT related show. He was motivated to do his best against Konosuke Takeshita. In return, Takeshita told Akki to bring it. There were big moves thrown when Takeshita gave Akki a Brainbuster on the entrance stage. Akki later hit the Firebird Splash for a two count. He tried to outmaneuver his opponent, flipping out of a German Suplex to set up a Modified La Magistral for another nearfall. But when Takeshita cut Akki off with the Blue Thunder Bomb, the end was near. Akki fired up but Takeshita hit the Zahi knee strike and pinned him with the German Suplex. The two wrestlers praised each other for a good match afterwards.
After the matches were over and everyone cooled down, some of the wrestlers sat down with Brookes and Mr. HAKU in the ring for post-show interviews. Katsumata, Yamashita and Misao took part so they could get the chance to talk to their overseas fans in English. Brookes was happy with the card that was put together because it was interesting and different. He wanted Katsumata and Yamashita on the card because they were on the first produced show. Drew Parker was unavailable because of a scheduling conflict. Ueno was brought in as a logical choice to be Katsumata’s tag partner. Also because Brookes wanted to see Yamashita kick Ueno in the head. Misao assured everyone she is not dead, her mecha form just broke down. Brookes remembered Mecha Mummy from the early days of DDT’s infamy on the internet and wanted to see Misao fight it because she is just as weird. For the main event, Brookes wanted to do Takeshita Vs Akki on the first show but couldn’t. He hates Akki but cannot deny he had a great 2020 so when he got the chance to produce a second show the match was definitely going to happen this time. Brookes and Katsumata then argued over the Twitter ban again. Katsumata apologised and Brookes joked he would be traded to Gake no Fuchi Joshi so Brookes won’t have to wrestle there anymore. For the 3rd produce show, Brookes wants to book everyone who was on this show against Katsumata in an 8 Vs 1 10,000 Thumbtacks Death Match.

1. Gake no Fuchi Joshi Vs Pocchari Joshi Full-Scale Competition – Gake no Fuchi Rules: Yumehito Imanari & Yuna Manase (3,003 pts) defeated Miyako Matsumoto & Chris Brookes (3 pts) when Manase pinned Matsumoto with the Suzuki Dynamic onto a chair (37:15).
The first Gake no Fuchi Joshi event of 2021 had big stakes attached to it. Miyako Matsumoto announced that the losing side in the only match of the show would be forced to disband their promotion. Ippanjin Munenori Sawa had promised the owner Sanshiro Takagi that Gake no Fuchi would continue for 1,000 years so he was here to support Matsumoto today.
Before the match took place, there was the matter of Gold Karen auditioning to join Gake no Fuchi as the promotion’s first trainee. She was nervous when she introduced herself but said her favourite wrestler is Himeka Arita from Stardom and then sang “Imitation Gold” by Momoe Yamaguchi. Afterwards, Matsumoto made her decision and rejected Karen’s audition because there was no heart in her performance. However every pro wrestler starts their career by losing so she’ll get another chance. After intermission Karen gave her audition another go and sang “Blue Coral Reef” by Seiko Matsuda. Matsumoto rejected her again and repeated her earlier reasoning word for word.
With that out of the way, it was time for Gake no Fuchi Joshi Vs Pocchari Joshi. The loser must disband stipulation was music to Chris Brookes’ ears because he would do anything not to team with Matsumoto again. He wanted to replace her with Toui Kojima who was perfoming tasks at ringside but Daisuke Kiso refused to allow it.
The two teams were told to each sing a song before the match began. Yumehito Imanari decided to sing Jushin Liger’s theme song for some reason. Next, Matsumoto sang her new song but didn’t notice Brookes laying down on his back behind her for Imanari to get an easy three count. Matsumoto wouldn’t accept the result and demanded a restart. Yuna Manase grabbed Brookes in a Wristlock and he instantly gave up for another quick finish. Matsumoto demanded another restart and told Brookes she would destroy his residence card if he doesn’t try to win. Brookes did what he was told and they attacked Pocchari Joshi to start the match properly.
Gake no Fuchi rules were in effect which means a bunch of minigames took place as the match progressed. It was also further explained that the winner of the match is whoever has the most points at the end, not from who pins who. Manase got a few points in a Ryogoku Style Sumo Match against both Matsumoto & Brookes. Matsumoto and Imanari then had a rap battle. Manase joined in and it somehow led to her and Matsumoto creating profiles for a dating app to see who would get more hits. Meanwhile Brookes beat Imanari in a game of Tetris that was being played on the big screen.
There was a comedy face-off which Imanari won using impersonations. A 4 Way Gake no Fuchi Boxing Challenge saw everyone don the gloves and punch each other out until Matsumoto accidentally punched Kiso in the face to get disqualified. One of the most regular games made a comeback when Brookes won the Gake no Fuchi Kiso Flag round. However he won it by Super Kicking Kiso so there was no referee to count any pins. Shota was forced to take Kiso’s place. He begun to count Matsumoto’s pin on Manase but stopped and Clotheslined her instead! He wants to destroy Gake no Fuchi! Suddenly, Sawa ran into the ring and delivered Dragon Screws to Shota, Imanari and Manase. He made a promise to Takagi that Gake no Fuchi Joshi would last for 1,000 years and he will live up to it!
The match went back on track with Brookes pressing Manase down on the ropes and holding a rubber strap to her mouth. Matsumoto pulled the strap and pulled it towards the back of the room. Manase was able to let go of the strap on her end causing it to snap into Matsumoto. They tried repeating the trick with Sawa taking Matsumoto’s place and this time Manase ducked and it snapped into Brookes instead. Brookes took out two tables and set them up at ringside as a launch pad for a plastic case attack with Matsumoto sitting in it. The plan didn’t work and Matsumoto crashed onto the floor. Imanari then threatened Brookes with a stapler and stapled a flyer for this Sunday’s DDT show onto Brookes’ head.
Shota and Sawa were still at ringside so the match kind of turned into a 6-Man Tag. Sawa blinded Shota with a party popper and placed him on one of the tables outside the ring. Matsumoto then climbed the ropes and, using Kiso to keep balance, put Shota through the table with a Diving Body Press. Sawa went for the Irabu Punch on Imanari but he ducked and Sawa knocked out Brookes instead. Determined to save Gake no Fuchi, Matsumoto continued fighting and hit Imanari over the head with a chair. He wouldn’t go down until he was kicked below the belt. Manase jumped in and hit Matsumoto with a Lariat. She then did the Suzuki Dynamic onto the chair to get the winning pinfall.
The result should have brought and end to Gake no Fuchi Joshi but Imanari & Manase had regrets over the decision. Pocchari Joshi wants to do more crazy matches against Gake no Fuchi because the two sides have a relationship like the moon and the sun. Matsumoto began to cry and said she surprisingly feels much better now despite losing. She will accept the stipulation and close down Gake no Fuchi. She thinks she might find a partner on the dating app she used earlier. Shota began to prepare a retirement ceremony for the promotion when suddenly Sanshiro Takagi appeared!
Takagi thanked Matsumoto for all of the hard work she did and admitted he thought she only had a 5% chance of winning today. However, he also reminded Matsumoto that she has a trainee now. Back in the 90s, Takagi was part of a company called PWC that closed down out of the blue. Out of desperation he created DDT. What if Gake no Fuchi Joshi closes down today and Gold Karen launches her own company to replace it? Then she would have her own DDT! It is Matsumoto’s responsibility to nurture her new student otherwise she is just running away from reality. Matsumoto said she wants to continue Gake no Fuchi and won’t split it up when it has so many new members. Brookes tried to protest being included but Takagi ignored him. Matsumoto promised Gake no Fuchi will be immortalized forever as long as there is still one of her still around! She asked for her theme music to play but instead got the Kamen Rider BLACK RX song instead. Shota sang along to it to close out the show.
The big news related to Tokyo Joshi Pro over the last 24 hours has been AEW announcing the field for their upcoming women’s tournament. Half of the brackets will take place in Japan (it was accidentally leaked that Saitama Wrestle Butokan, aka the Ice Ribbon Dojo is being used as the venue and content has already been taped) and two wrestlers from TJPW will be involved. Yuka Sakazaki makes her long awaited return to AEW but the even bigger story is Maki Itoh will be entering too! Those who already know of her reputation are over the moon about this news. Everybody else won’t know what hit them. Asuka will also be taking part, wrestling under the name VENY which she made to become her moniker for wrestling overseas.

6. International Princess Title: Yuki Kamifuku (c) Vs Mirai Maiumi
7. Princess Of Princess Title: Rika Tatsumi (c) Vs Miu Watanabe
The contract signing for the three title matches has taken place. Rika Tatsumi made it clear her goal as the Princess Of Princess Title is to defend it for a century. When she teams with Miu Watanabe as Daydream, she thinks of ways to use Watanabe as a weapon against their opponents. So she already has ideas of how to attack Watanabe directly. It is a special match for her but she is not nervous. She has already been champion for a month and has learned to be calm about it. Watanabe thinks she has already grown thanks to wrestling against Tatsumi over the last month.
Mirai Maiumi created her own attaché case to represent her International Princess Title shot. She wants to become the champion to give courage and energy all over Japan. She promises her match will be the Miramare Shock miracle! As champion, Yuki Kamifuku purposely wants to make people feel jealousy. That way everyone will pay attention to her and Tokyo Joshi Pro.
The creation of Shin Ultra Shoka has reminded Hyper Misao of her original intentions when she became a superhero. She wants to create a superhero squad of Tokyo Joshi! There are five colours in the hero squad and two have already been filled. Red and green. That leaves blue, yellow and pink. If the Tokyo Joshingers win the Princess Tag Team Titles then they can add The Bakuretsu Sisters to their squad. Nodoka Tenma wants to be the blue ranger but she would rather still be champion. She also wants Shoko Nakajima to go back to normal so they can team with her as the Tokyo Joshi Special Effects Club again. They would even prefer Misao to join the club rather than they join the Joshingers. Yuki Aino also reminded the challengers that it’s the people that give heroes their powers and they will use that power to defend the belts.
