During the week Mizuki Watase unexpectedly requested a move from DDT to Ganbare☆Pro. DDT had met with Watase to discuss his plans and all sides agreed to go through with the move as of 25th November. Watase’s match against Yusuke Okada on 5th December will still go ahead and it is now his send-off match from DDT. Watase has wrestled in Ganpro several times and thinks the heat from the fans matches his own temperature. He is grateful to DDT for having him for 6 years including his debut match in Sumo Hall. He hopes to get stronger so the next time he steps in a DDT ring he will return the favour. This move also opens up Watase’s options because he wants to wrestle in other companies, in foreign countries and against various people. If he can get that kind of schedule then he will be able to wrestle the same amount of matches as he would if he stayed in DDT.

Yuka Sakazaki said it is not necessary for their opponents to be human. She brings up the possible pairing of Pokotan & Yoshihiko as potential challengers. She doesn’t know much about TropicaWild because she doesn’t interact much with other joshi promotions. Mizuki however has history with SAKI. They both teamed together for their debut match almost a decade ago! Together they were Buribato♡, the “Brilliant Battle Girls” of LLPW-X.

It is also named after an adult magazine which is another sign that all is not as it seems. The only wrestler associated with Dera Beppin is Papillon Akemi, a masked wrestler designed to look like a shoujo manga character. If it’s joshi that Akemi wants then joshi is what Akemi will get. Saki Akai is stepping up on the DDT side.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’22”, 04/01/2022
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. International Princess Title: Hikari Noa (c) Vs X
2. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Mizuki

Even though Mizuki doesn’t like to fight against Miyu Yamashita she does have a good win-loss record against her. She has now been full-time with Tokyo Joshi Pro for a year now and wants to carry the promotion on her back. That means she needs to take the Princess Of Princess Title from Yamashita. The champion has been beaten by Mizuki twice this year. During the Tokyo Princess Cup as well as yesterday’s Princess Tag Titles match. She respects her so much that she wants the match to take place on the annual Ittenyon show. There is no better time for Yamashita to avenge those losses.

Hikari Noa will next defend the International Princess Title against the winner of a Battle Royal taking place on 4th December. The participants of the Battle Royal will all be chosen by a fan votes on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. If you are subscribed to WRESTLE UNIVERSE then you can vote here using your name and User ID. Only one vote is allowed per account. Any multiple votes found will invalidate all of your votes. Noa thinks if a wrestler who has not been able to move up a step gets voted into the Battle Royal and wins the title shot, it will be a chance for that person to gain confidence. She will watch the Battle Royal and form her strategy depending on who wins.

The eligible wrestlers you can vote for are Yuki Aino, Yuki Arai, Maki Itoh, Arisu Endo, Nao Kakuta, Yuki Kamifuku, Mahiro Kiryu, Marika Kobashi, Suzume, Rika Tatsumi, Nodoka Tenma, Shoko Nakajima, Haruna Neko, Hyper Misao, Pom Harajuku, Moka Miyamoto, Raku and Miu Watanabe. Those excluded from the pool are either the current champions or not in Japan right now.

For his first Spirit Of Ganbare Title defence, Tatsuhito Takaiwa is wasting no time and nominated Ken Ohka as his challenger. Takaiwa calls Ohka the symbol of Ganpro and since this is a Ganpro title there is nobody more fitting to get the first shot. If he can’t beat Ohka then he thinks there was no point in becoming the champion.

4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: HARASHIMA (1) Vs Yuji Okabayashi (8) ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (9) defeated Kazusada Higuchi (4) with the Surprise Rose (5:09).
6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – A Block: Yuki Ueno (6) defeated Tetsuya Endo (6) with the WR (21:21).

A Block

1. Yuki Ueno (6)
-. Tetsuya Endo (6)
-. Yuji Hino (6)
-. Jun Akiyama (6)
5. Bodyguard (4)
6. Naomi Yoshimura (2)

B Block

1. Konosuke Takeshita (9)
-. Yuji Okabayashi (8)
3. Kazusada Higuchi (4)
-. Chris Brookes (4)
-. MAO (4)
6. HARASHIMA (1)

The D-Ou Grand Prix final comes down to two classmates from the same stable. All week Tetsuya Endo talked lightly about Yuki Ueno, thinking a victory over him was certain. Instead Ueno had other plans and he blocked the Shooting Star Press with his knees. The Dropkick to the face hit its mark but Endo fired back with one of his own. Ueno also stood firm and hit another Dropkick before putting Endo in the WR for the big win. The A Block finished with four wrestlers all tied in first but the Head To Head results ultimately determined Ueno as the winner advancing to the final! He would agree that this is a great achievement that’s worth praise. Endo on the other hand now feels he has nowhere to go. He isn’t going back to DAMNATION T.A because he doesn’t want anything to do with the guy in charge of that ever again. In 2022 he will go on a journey to become a new Tetsuya Endo!

Over in the B Block there was no tiebreaker needed for first place. Konosuke Takeshita completes the group stage undefeated with a successful blitz on Kazusada Higuchi. The two wasted no time and went throwing big bombs at each other. Takeshita threw out the Zahi knee strike and brought back the Surprise Rose to win in quick fashion. That is a move Takeshita has purposely held back from using because it is dangerous for him to do. But Higuchi is an opponent he felt he needed to use it against. Higuchi called the match a disappointing result but one he will take as a lesson for the future.

So now finally Ueno gets to stand face to face against Takeshita again. He’s seen his friend wrestle ever since they were in high school and that lead to Ueno falling in love with DDT. Ueno has gotten strong over the last five years and he’ll do his best to beat Takeshita in the final on 5th December. Takeshita is happy that Ueno will be his opponent for a Korakuen Hall main event. He encourages Ueno to try and go beyond him because they will have a match that only they can put together.

For Yuji Okabayashi it was a case of so close yet so far. He also went through the entire tournament undefeated but two draws keep him away from reaching the final. The time limit stalemate here gives HARASHIMA a little bit of redemption. All throughout the grand prix he’s been telling people he is in great shape despite a horrible run of defeat after defeat. Being able to fight Okabayashi for 30 minutes without losing is proof he can still go and he is confident he can do better. He wants to keep looking forward, aiming higher and win again. Okabayashi feels HARASHIMA’s love for DDT. It is that persistence that prevented the Big Japan wrestler from getting his rematch with Takeshita. Speaking of that, Okabayashi is now rooting for Takeshita to win the final. If he loses, Okabayashi will come back to kill him!

Jun Akiyama did what he could do to catch up but his win over Bodyguard wasn’t enough to push him over the line. Akiyama blocked the Rising High Kick, hit the Kneelift and then another one with his exposed knee. That only got a one count. Akiyama then threw Bodyguard over with the Exploder but that got a two count. Akiyama had to hit more Running Knee Lifts and then use the Wrist-Clutch Exploder to finally put Bodyguard away. Bodyguard was impressed by Akiyama’s strength and thinks he is moving faster than he was back in All Japan. If DDT wants to invite him back, he will work harder, rebuild his body and compete again.

Oh no, what did Pheromones do this time? Danshoku Dieno & Yuki Iino used their skills to put Yuji Hino, MAO & Yukio Naya all in compromising positions. When Yumehito Imanari grabbed his camera and began to film them, Hisaya Imabayashi ordered the match to be called off. Imabayashi singled out Imanari to blame this time and called him the root of all evil. The GM knows just who to call to come over and destroy him. It’s Shinya Aoki!

A video played of Aoki nominating Imanari as the next DDT Extreme Title challenger and the stipulation is no seconds are allowed at ringside. The match will go ahead in Shinjuku FACE on 12th December. Imanari noticed that when Aoki says the word indie it sounds like he is saying indecent. The press may misreport that the match will be lewd because of that. So Imanari promised that even without his friends at ringside, the match is going to get lewd!

The grudge between Daisuke Sasaki and Soma Takao got even dirtier when they attacked each other after the opening match. With Mizuki Watase already beaten, MJ Paul grabbed onto Takao and held him down. Sasaki then brought out a bag of dog food and claimed he kept this for over ten years. “I’ll never forget the dog food you made me eat!” he shouted. Sasaki attempted to force feed Takao but he punched back and shoved the food into Sasaki’s mouth. Takao then declared he will win the DDT Universal Title from him on 5th December.

The rookies got to experience Hardcore wrestling for the first time thanks to Shunma Katsumata. He invited Toui Kojima, Hideki Okatani and Yuya Koroku to go wild with weapons such as block toys, barbed wire bats, clothing pins, chairs, ladders, pop crackers and more. Okatani tried to put Kojima through a table with the Double Arm Suplex but the table didn’t break. Okatani smashed him through the table the second time. Katsumata covered Koroku in an Acupressure Foot Mat and pinned him with the Totonoe Splash. The rookies all agreed the match was painful but fun.

After the contest was over, Katsumata apologised for making a mess during the dark match. Then suddenly Hyper Misao entered the ring carrying a sign and attacked him with it. She is angry with him for a bunch of reasons. First, The 37KAMIINA humiliated her at the Tokyo Dome during the Rojo Pro Wrestling match held there. And second, Misao is upset she wasn’t invited to be in the Hardcore Match today. She demanded a Hardcore Match against Katsumata and it will happen on 18th December in Nagoya. Katsumata questioned if it is heroic to attack someone from behind and if Misao really is a hero? Misao said this is the way of a hero and she will end his hardcore life!

The very first match of the day was eventful before it even begun. Akito pinned Toru Owashi during his in-ring introduction to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. Owashi, Kazuki Hirata and Antonio Honda then chased after Akito while the match went ahead. Yuki Ishida used his power to knock over opponents but Yusuke Okada soon stopped his momentum. Naomi Yoshimura threw everyone around. Saki Akai went wild against Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi. The Iron Man chase returned to the ring and Honda revealed that today is Hirata’s birthday! He sang him a birthday song but Hirata cut him off with a Cradle for a nearfall. CDK grabbed Hirata and used a Super Kick/Praying Mantis Bomb combo to put him away.

The show began with the D-Ou Grand Prix chairman Kenta Kobashi greeting the audience and declaring the opening of the final day. Endo could be heard cheering his announcement from the locker room.

Since today is Hirata’s birthday and there were two special announcements for him. On 26th December in Yoyogi, Maku Donaruto will be on the show. Also on the show Hirata is getting a big singles match against Shuji Kondo! Hirata was surprised by the second announcement and promised to do his best. He doesn’t even know Kondo despite their Kobe connection. He also wants Kondo to go easy on him.

The second DDTeeeen!! show will be held at Itabashi Green Hall on 5th January. Ilusion and El Unicorn both promoted the event at the start of the show.

In 2022 DDT will be hosting a “0 Yen Free Show” once a month for the entire year. The first one will take place in Shinjuku FACE on 7th January.

1. YuuRI “Glamorous Valkyrie” Trial Single Match Round 2: Maya Yukihi defeated YuuRI with a Sasori-gatame (10:25).
2. Japan-China Full Scale Battle Special Single Match: Cherry Vs Choun-Shiryu ended in a No Contest (9:58).
3. Japan-US-India Full Scale Battle Special 3 Way Match: Baliyan Akki defeated Yumehito Imanari and Shota when Akki pinned Shota with a Cradle (9:26).
4. Ganjo Special Mixed 6-Man Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii, Shinichiro Tominaga & Rina Amikura defeated Ken Ohka, Seiya Morohashi & Moeka Haruhi when Tominaga pinned Morohashi with the JK (17:22).
5. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Yuna Manase & Saki Akai defeated Yuu Yamagata & HARUKAZE when Manase pinned HARUKAZE with the Suzuki Dynamic (19:58).

The addition of Saki Akai was just what Yuna Manase needed to get her groove back. Their recent bond was strong enough to beat the team of Yuu Yamagata & HARUKAZE. It was still tough and Manase hasn’t figured out how to beat Yamagata yet. However she has now caught up to HARUKAZE and pinned her with the Suzuki Dynamic. Akai asked her why didn’t she show that power before? Manase is persistent no matter how many times she loses so she doesn’t need Akai’s help to finally beat Yamagata. Even when Manase fights alone she has many friends supporting her. Akai wished her well and told Manase to take Ganbare☆Joshi to the top. Manase then challenged Yamagata to a singles match on 19th December for the final Ganjo show of the year. Yamagata said she is stronger than she was back in April for their first match together. She will beat Manase again and finish the year on a high note.

The trio of Ken Ohka, Seiya Morohashi & Moeka Haruhi came close to winning their match but patchy teamwork throughout blew it for them. Ohka & Haruhi kept hitting Morohashi by accurate when they tried double team moves. Morohashi then set Shinichiro Tominaga for a Superplex and his partners grabbed onto him to add more power. Tominaga blocked the move and Morohashi ended up getting Power Bombed by his own partners. Tominaga then capitalized by hitting the JK and getting the pin.

The Cherry Vs Choun-Shiryu match involved the use of baseball bats and staffs as weapons. Their attacks kept knocking out the ref until he called off the match. Cherry and Shiryu took out their frustration on the seconds at ringside after the match.

The second match in YuuRI’s trial series saw her lose to Maya Yukihi from Ice Ribbon. YuuRI was eager to strike from the start with Dropkicks and a heavy reliance on other kicks. The match went to the mat where Yukihi took over with a superior ground game. She placed YuuRI in a Sharpshooter and won by submission. Ohka encouraged YuuRI to keep the series going. He explained there is no point in her beating weaker opponents which is why she is being put in this challenging series. Her third opponent on 19th December is against SAKI from Actwres girl’Z. YuuRI thanked Ganbare☆Pro for letting a newcomer like her fight such strong wrestlers. Yukihi was pleased by her performance and understands what it is like to wrestle through a trial series. She praised YuuRI for having a strong presence.

Meanwhile Kouki Iwasaki faces the indomitable Shuichiro Katsumura, longtime veteran Tatsuhito Takaiwa meets Mizuki Watase and Ken Ohka crosses his hero Tetsuhiro Kuroda.

The first four matches in the D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II took place inside Ota Ward Gymnasium. In the main event Konosuke Takeshita was taken to the limit by Yuji Okabayashi until the time expired. The Plus Ultra and German Suplex couldn’t put Okabayashi. But on the other hand the Golem Splash and Argentine Backbreaker wasn’t enough to beat Takeshita either. Takeshita was fighting to apply the Plus Ultra once more when the bell rang and the match ended in a draw. Takeshita is pleased with the result because he wanted to test his current power. He concluded that he is in great shape and has become a stronger wrestler. It was a contest of strength and Takeshita believes he went all out in Ota Ward today. Now he wants a rematch with Okabayashi and he thinks winning the D-Ou GP will make that happen. It could also happen in a tiebreaker if there is a tie for 1st place in their block. Okabayashi is frustrated over what happened. He doesn’t lose power struggles inside the ring that often. He promises to win the rest of the tournament and crush Takeshita whenever they cross paths again.

Today went exactly how Yuki Ueno imagined it would go. He expected the Knee Strikes, the Front Neck Lock and the Exploder Suplexes. After a perfectly placed Dropkick to the face, Ueno used the WR to beat Jun Akiyama! Everything went right for Ueno which makes him thinks this edition of the D-Ou GP will be a very good tournament for him. Akiyama accepts the result and the situation. It didn’t matter how much of the match he controlled, he still lost in the end. It can’t be helped if he has a target on his back for the younger generation to aim for.

The question going into Tetsuya Endo Vs Yuji Hino was whether or not Endo could give his larger opponent the Torture Rack Bomb. It took some effort but he was finally able to deliver the move. However the move took something out of him too and a delayed pin allowed Hino to kick out at two. Endo had to change his plan and attempted the Canadian Destroyer. Hino blocked the move but Endo then suddenly Cradled him and held him down for dear life to get the three count. Now that DAMNATION is gone, Endo said today is the first step towards becoming the top wrestler in DDT again. He thinks DDT wouldn’t be fun if he wasn’t on top. His next opponent is Naomi Yoshimura. Endo revealed that the two knew each other before Yoshimura joined DDT. He used to tease Endo all the time for having skinny legs. Endo promises he will break Yoshimura’s legs for revenge! Hino is immediately moving on from this loss to focus on his next opponent, Jun Akiyama.

The rivalry between HARASHIMA and Kazusada Higuchi resurfaced once more. At first HARASHIMA targeted his Higuchi’s legs but the match turned into the two throwing bombs at each other. HARASHIMA went for the big finish by doing a Springboard but Higuchi caught him in the Brain Claw. That by itself couldn’t win the match so Higuchi turned it into a big Brain Claw Slam to earn the victory. For Higuchi the win is another step forward. It builds his confidence and makes him think he will win the D-Ou GP. HARASHIMA is sorry he lost but believes he is still in great shape for the rest of the tournament.

The Hardcore Tag Match was carnage for the plastic boxes getting destroyed all over the place. MAO gave a shoutout to Speedball Mike Bailey by doing the Ultima Weapon onto Chris Brookes. He then stapled a Wrestle Universe advert onto Drew Parker’s forehead. Brookes did the same to him. Shunma Katsumata then took it further by stapling an ad onto Parker’s tongue. Parker fought back with a dart but Katsumata shoved it back into his mouth and pierced it through Parker’s cheek! Katsumata & MAO then tried the NepoWER Shower but Brookes got out of the way, leaving them to crash into more boxes. Parker put MAO through a table with the Swanton Bomb and then hit the Spiral Tap on Katsumata. He and Brookes then finished Katsumata off with a Super Power Bomb onto more plastic boxes. Parker greeted the DDT fans afterwards and gave his support to Brookes for the D-Ou GP.

Match #3 fell apart after an accidental ref bump caused by Yoshimura. He & Bodyguard were able to Double Choke Slam MJ Paul. Then Daisuke Sasaki brought a chair into the ring and he lured Yoshimura into Clotheslining Bodyguard by accident. Soma Takao then ran in and attacked Sasaki while Yoshimura & Bodyguard started fighting each other. Yukinori Matsui regained consciousness and saw chaos in the ring so he called off the match. It just so happens that Yoshimura and Bodyguard are facing each other in the D-Ou GP this Saturday. That’s convenient. Takao still wants an explanation from Sasaki as to why he turned his back on him. Sasaki thinks Takao is now working for Ganbare☆Pro and wants security to do a better job keeping wrestlers from other places invading DDT.

Saki Akai & Masahiro Takanashi were joined by Yukio Sakaguchi for their match. There wasn’t the same level of harmony for Chihiro Hashimoto & Yukio Naya. The finish saw Hashimoto grabbing Takanashi to do the Albright German Suplex. Then due to a lot of scrambling in the ring, Hashimoto ended up giving the Albright to her tag partner instead. Takanashi then pinned Naya to steal the win. Despite the result, Hashimoto wants to come back and wrestle Akai again. Akai will be wrestling at Sendai Girls on 23rd November so they can sort something out there is Akai wants to.

You’ll need more than handcuffs to stop Pheromones from their antics. Sanshiro Takagi’s plans couldn’t prevent them from becoming the new KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Takagi brought out the Dramatic Dream bike to drill into his opponents. Danshoku Dieno took out Shinya Aoki with the Lip Lock. He then got into the Hell Gate position and Yumehito Imanari sprayed fire extinguisher through it into Yusuke Okada. Imanari then handcuffed Okada and left him vulnerable for Yuki Iino’s Sexy Lariat for the finish. Dieno told the “Pheromaniacs” that the unit now cannot be disbanded and they will continue to take everyone to their land of dreams!

The show began with Kenta Kobashi introducing the D-Ou GP entries and receiving the trophy from the previous winner Akiyama. He declared the D-Ou Grand Prix open and watched the matches from the broadcast table. He praised the four tournament matches today and thinks the rest of the tournament will be just as good.

There were three pre-show matches including a title bout. The KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles changed hands when Team Olympian lost to Toru Owashi and the so-called DDT Variety Team. Both teams agreed to No Tag Rules for the match to keep the action going. The big highlight was the first time meeting of Yoshiaki Yatsu and Yoshihiko that ended with Yatsu putting the doll in the Prison Lock until Antonio Honda broke it up. Yoshihiko then flew out of the ring after Hiroshi Yamato gave Kazuki Hirata a German Suplex. Akito & Keigo Nakamura focused on Hirata until Yoshihiko came back in for the rescue. Their teamwork together was the difference maker and Hirata pinned Nakamura after an assisted Reincarnation from Yoshihiko. Honda said there are a lot of units in DDT now but if they can get rid of those groups one by one then they can climb up the card all the way up to the main event! Backstage Yatsu was impressed by the depth of Yoshihiko’s abilities.

Takao had a friendlier time in the ring with Baliyan Akki than he did with DAMNATION T.A. Akki put up a good fight by hitting a No Touch Topé Suicida and the Namaste Press. But Takao caught him in the Official Endless Waltz to wear him out and get the three count.

Toui Kojima is back and the new generation of DDT is complete again. Even better for Kojima, he got his first win too. Yuya Koroku and Hideki Okatani kept each other busy so it came down to Kojima and the newest rookie Yuki Ishida. Kojima used a Full Nelson Buster to beat him. Now that his elbows are completely healed, Kojima is going back to his goal of joining The 37KAMIINA!

After over four years away, DDT made its return to the world famous Tokyo Dome for its second empty arena show in the venue. This time the visit was to crown the winners of the first ever DDT TOKYO DOME CUP. 5 million yen was put on the line with 5 teams competing in total. When The 37KAMIINA entered the field first the format was revealed to be a Gauntlet match. They complained about the unfair disadvantage of being the first team but they kept quiet when Hisaya Imabayashi handed them a million yen in cash. The voice of Azusa Takigawa explained over the speakers that every team is given a million yen. The winners of each round would then take the losers’ money until the entire prize pot was filled. Chris Brookes, The Brahman Brothers and Gorgeous Matsuno then entered the field and handed over their money to start the match.

The two teams brawled around the baseball diamond. Brookes attempted to do an Old School walk across the fence but Konosuke Takeshita knocked him off it. The 37KAMIINA held each of their opponents in a Headlock on all four bases and all charged into the pitcher’s mound to give their opponents one big meeting of the minds. An Estrella chain was formed while Yuki Ueno countered the Praying Mantis Bomb into a Hurricanrana on Brookes for a nearfall. The Brahmans brought out their wacky weapons and gathered their opponents onto home base where they bowled a spare on them (Brahman Shu’s first bowl missed and hit Brahman Kei in the foot). Brookes leapt over Takeshita & Ueno to give MAO a Cutter. Matsuno took over and attempted to Power Bomb MAO but it was blocked. The Brahmans ran in with an electric drill but missed MAO and caught Matsuno in the groin with it instead. Brookes threw powder but MAO ducked that too and Matsuno took the damage again. MAO laid The Brahmans’ traffic sign underneath Matsuno and Curb Stomped him into it for the win.

The 37KAMIINA now had 2,000,000 yen and walked up the stands to meet their next opponents. Along the way Saki Akai appeared working as a beer seller. Shunma Katsumata asked for a beer and Akai told him it would cost 2 million yen. When Katsumata said that’s too expensive Akai called him a poor man, kicked him in the face and walked off looking for more customers.

The next team entering the Gauntlet appeared in the concourse area. It was the Tokyo Joshi Pro team! Hyper Misao carried a protest sign accusing The 37KAMIINA of lying about their love for saunas. They’re just cashing in on the rising popularity of the sauna industry and secretly hates saunas! She then pulled out a straw doll and began attacking it, committing a voodoo spell on Katsumata that worked. Ueno turned the spell against Misao and made her writhe in pain by twisting the doll in her direction. Misao stopped the spell by blinding Ueno with a spray and throwing him into a nearby trash can. Maki Itoh attacked MAO in the stands and called for the Cutest Knuckle Punch In The World to the empty Tokyo Dome. She then attempted the Gran Naniwa Crab Walk across a railing but was next to a column and had no room to complete the move. Hikari Noa took out a Barbwire Baseball Bat and Katsumata brought over a toy bat covered in Lego for a duel between the two. Their fight left a mess of Lego all over the floor. That left Takeshita facing off with Miyu Yamashita in a clash between the two champions of DDT and Tokyo Joshi. Yamashita kicked him good but was thrown chin first into a railing. She got angry and threw more kicks at The 37KAMIINA until MAO showed up challenging her to a martial arts face off. The two had a tense staredown that ended when MAO made Yamashita flinch and then punched her while her guard was down. Noa ran in holding a ladder over her head and shoulders, spinning around and knocking her opponents away. Takeshita stopped the spinning and Katsumata hit the ladder with a chair, leaving Noa in a stunned state. Yamashita was ready to charge back in when suddenly Misao cycled into the scene on a bike and crashed right into a castle of chairs! MAO smashed a plastic box over Itoh’s head but she no sold it. Her head finally took damage when MAO blocked the Kokeshi Headbutt with a chair. MAO then gave Itoh a Package Piledriver onto a stack of chairs. Finally, Katsumata laid Misao onto a pile of Chairs and hit the Totonoe Splash off of a scaffold for the three count. The 37KAMIINA now have 3 million yen.

The next round was taking place in the bullpen but on the way over, everyone bumped into Saki Akai again. Katsumata again tried to buy a beer but now Akai told him it would cost 3 million yen. He said the price is a ripoff so Akai kicked him down the stairway.

Waiting in the bullpen were Shinya Aoki, Kazusada Higuchi & Kazuki Hirata. They had a mystery partner too and it was revealed to be the RIZIN fighter Kouzi! The match started in the bullpen but moved over to the outfield. Higuchi threw MAO into the wall with a BT Bomb. Aoki’s team then all put The 37KAMIINA in submission holds when all of a sudden, the lights went out. They came back on and Yoshihiko was there standing above them in the seats! It did a dive from the balcony onto everyone below. It then caught Aoki in an Armbar until Hirata broke them apart. Yoshihiko challenged Kouzi to a fight but it was defeated with a combo that ended in a High Kick. Hirata praised Kouzi but then knocked him out with the Tegatana strike. The Hirata GO! glasses were pulled out and Hirata started dancing until Ueno Dropkicked him. Kouzi called for his special move and charged in for a Headbutt (Kouzi has a reputation for headbutting opponents in his fights, whether it’s always accidental is up for debate). Ueno dodged it and Hirata took the blow, leading him to get pinned. Imabayashi interviewed Kouzi after the round to see if he enjoyed the experience. Kouzi said it was a lot of fun and he is already prepared to transfer from RIZIN to DDT so he can continue doing it!

While everyone was getting into place for the final round, a VIP ceremonial first pitch was held back on the field. The first surprise was Jun Akiyama entering to the pitcher’s mound. The second surprise was Kenta Kobashi stepping up to the plate ready to bat! Akiyama threw a dangerous ball at Kobashi, causing a fight to nearly break out between them for the first time in the Tokyo Dome since 2004! Cooler heads prevailed and the two shook hands before introducing the final round.

Pheromones entered the field alongside Tetsuya Endo who for one night only was part of their antics as Tetsuya “Hercules” Endo. The entire prize pot of 5,000,000 yen was now complete and the final would be held under special rules. DDT is combining pro wrestling and baseball together to create Wrestleball! They play baseball and score runs by pinning their opponents on the way to the bases. It didn’t really make much sense and only got more crazy from there. Pheromones scored three points during an inning that involved Yuki Iino doing the Sexy Elbow on his opponents after hitting a home run, Endo getting his shorts pulled down and Danshoku Dieno committing “Brazilian Flatulence” by spraying a CO2 canister from between his legs onto everyone while two samba dancers performed beside him. The 37KAMIINA went into the final inning needing to score 4 runs to win. They got the bases loaded despite some bad swinging from Takeshita & Ueno. The score got tied when Katsumata, Ueni & MAO all ran home. Dieno & Iino were left incapacitated thanks to a Lip Lock gone wrong. Takeshita ran his way round the bases but Endo stood in his way, still with his backside exposed. Endo went for a Hip Attack but Takeshita caught him with an Atomic Drop and knocked him into the air with a Lariat. All that was left was to reach home base. Takeshita sprinted over, hit Yumehito Imanari with the Zahi and German Suplexed him onto home plate for the winning run. The 37KAMIINA wins the DDT TOKYO DOME CUP!

But that wasn’t the end because there was one more surprise for everyone. The 5 million yen is a rewards for one person only so now The 37KAMIINA had to fight each other to claim the prize for themselves! Katsumata got a Triple Super Kick from his partners and the other three fought amongst themselves. Hisaya Imabayashi watched on until a member of the Tokyo Dome management approached him. He was told the show has gone on past the agreed time and DDT now has to pay an extension fee of 5,000,000 yen! Imabayashi hurriedly paid management the entire prize money while The 37KAMIINA continued fighting each other, oblivious that the prize was now gone.

6. Chiba Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Yuji Hino, Kazusada Higuchi & Hiroshi Yamato when Takeshita submitted Yamato with the Plus Ultra (19:47).
7. Dark Match: Tetsuya Endo Vs DJ Nira was a Dream… (16:55)?

The main event was all a dream shared through the consciousness of the entire audience. When The 37KAMIINA won their match and finished their victory speech, the shutter gate of 2AW Square opened up and then closed. DJ Nira was then dragged out to the ring for the final match, which was announced as a dark match. Tetsuya Endo came out and Nira tried to stab him with his umbrella. Nira warned Endo he missed his only chance to beat him but Endo then easily knocked him down with an Elbow Strike. Nira grabbed his umbrella again but this time stabbed himself. Endo was confused but continued wrestling. He put Nira in an Airplane Spin and it accidentally knocked out Yukinori Matsui when Nira’s feet clipped him in the head. Suddenly the lights would constantly switch off and on with the scene in the ring switching to something each time. Narration explained that Nira destroyed Endo’s knee in exchange for his life. And from that knee, a new life was born! Antonio Honda appeared in the ring wearing a diaper and crying. Nira and Endo encouraged him to stop crying and stand up. Honda did but quickly fell down and ran out of the ring. Nira told Endo the founder of an old wrestling school was here today and they should meet him. Toru Owashi then brought Honda back out, this time wearing an Ultimo Dragon mask. Everyone at ringside began singing “Seperados”, pulled down their shorts to reveal diapers underneath and formed a human pyramid in front of Endo with Nira on top. Nira jumped off the pyramid to do a Rocket Punch but missed Endo and crashed to the mat. The room went dark and narration explained that the wrestling school collapsed. The room lit up again to reveal a sleeping Matsui being woken up by Hisaya Imabayashi in the middle of the ring with no one else there. Matsui said he just had a dream and the show ended right at that moment.

In his post-match interview, Endo only talked about his opening D-Ou Grand Prix match against Yuji Hino and his goal to win all of his group bouts before facing Kazusada Higuchi in the final. He spoke nothing about what had happened earlier.

Konosuke Takeshita described he is at his best performance in time for the D-Ou Grand Prix. However since MAO is in his same group, MAO told him they are now enemies for the time being. Takeshita agrees even though they are on the same team for tomorrow’s Tokyo Dome empty arena match. Both will be aiming for the final where they expect Yuki Ueno to be on the other side after he wins his block. Shunma Katsumata isn’t in the tournament so they let him finish off the speech so he wouldn’t feel left out. He said if The 37KAMIINA wins the 5,000,000 yen cash prize in the Tokyo Dome then they will all go to Finland to celebrate in their saunas!

Today was Soma Takao’s first chance to get his hands on DAMNATION T.A since they attacked him. It didn’t fare well for him. Daisuke Sasaki attacked him from the get go then he & MJ Paul targeted Hideki Okatani with dirty tactics. Takao got a second wind but DAMNATION T.A’s teamwork overwhelmed him and Okatani. They got rid of Takao outside the ring and Paul hit the Death Valley Bomb on Okatani to win. Sasaki taunted Takao afterwards and when Takao tried to speak on the microphone, Sasaki knocked him out with a Super Kick. Sasaki then said he doesn’t care about Takao and doesn’t want to be involved with him ever again! The quality of DAMNATION T.A would only drop if they were to let him back in. Takao is now left wondering what he has done to be betrayed like this.

Yukio Naya was able to get the win for his match because Jun Akiyama struck Kazuki Hirata with a Knee Strike to set up the Back Drop finish. Akiyama said he wants Naya to wake up and find something good in his abilities because he thinks they will be working together in the future.

The D-Ou Grand Prix is on everyone’s minds. Ueno watched Yuji Hino’s match and found out he is much stronger than he expected. He also has the opening match with Akiyama coming up but Ueno has more goals he wants to achieve than just beating Akiyama.

The Pheromones match went too far out of control again. They wanted to do their antics on Saki Akai which crossed a line according to Imabayashi and got the match thrown out. Sanshiro Takagi then entered the ring to rescue the GM but Pheromones attacked him until Yusuke Okada came out for the save. Dieno got on the microphone and said if their matches keep getting stopped then they will never get to wrestle from start to finish. He demanded that the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match at Ota Ward Gymnasium must not be prematurely stopped or end in disqualification. Dieno then forced Imabayashi to officially make the match on 3rd November No DQ.

Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. YuuRI “Glamorous Valkyrie” Trial Single Match Round 2: YuuRI Vs Maya Yukihi
2. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Yuna Manase & Saki Akai Vs Yuu Yamagata & HARUKAZE

Just when things were looking at its bleakest for Yuna Manase, help has come from an unlikely face. Saki Akai wants to see the woman with a never say die attitude that she fought last month. So she is now helping Manase bring that fire back and finally get a win against Yuu Yamagata & HARUKAZE. Yamagata does not know who Akai is but welcomes her participation in the match.

Match 2 for YuuRI’s trial series is against another big name on the joshi scene, Maya Yukihi.

Moeka Haruhi will be on the show. Storyline wise she’s come across as the odd woman out on the Ganbare☆Joshi events so far.

GANBARE☆PRO “LEC CLEANPA! PRESENTS GANBARE☆CLIMAX 2021 2ND ROUND”, 07/11/2021
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Ganpro Special Tag Match: Shota & Soma Takao Vs Keisuke Ishii & Nobuhiro Shimatani
2. Ganpro Special Single Match: Kenichiro Arai Vs Taison Maeguchi
3. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2A: Tetsuhiro Kuroda Vs Ken Ohka
4. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2D: Tatsuhito Takaiwa Vs Mizuki Watase
5. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2C: Kouki Iwasaki Vs Shuichiro Katsumura
6. Ganbare☆Climax 2021 – Round 2B: Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Yumehito Imanari

The Ganbare☆Climax moves on to Round 2. Shinichiro Tominaga eliminating Keisuke Ishii was the big surprise in Round 1. Can he get a Cinderella run going by defeating the last tournament winner Yumehito Imanari? Meanwhile Tetsuhiro Kuroda and Mizuki Watase get their first matches in the bracket. Kuroda is seen as a god by Ken Ohka because he was nice to him back in Ohka’s rookie days. Watase is as motivated as he has ever been to go far and grab some success in the ring.

Soma Takao has been hanging around at Ganbare☆Pro recently to show support for the other wrestlers in his generation. After being by Shota’s side at the last show, Takao was invited to wrestle on a Ganpro show for the first time.

Also at the show will be Shinjiro Otani. He is now the on-site director for Ganpro.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “ALL RISE ’21”, 25/11/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh

The Magical Sugar Rabbits are handed a tough first defence. 121000000 are a united front in the aftermath to the “WRESTLE PRINCESS II” main event. I think. They’re bickering over whether or not Miyu Yamashita really cares about Maki Itoh. It’s the opposite to Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki. Those two with the Princess Tag Titles have in the past been the most unbeatable duo in TJPW. 121000000 need to get their heads together (perhaps literally) if they want to win the belts.

Yuki Arai will be on the show.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW INSPIRATION”, 10/12/2021
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

2. Pom Harajuku Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi
3. Hardcore Match: Hikari Noa Vs Nao Kakuta
4. MagiRabi Vs TropicaWild: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki Vs SAKI & Yuna Mizumori

The third “TJPW INSPIRATION” brings in TropicaWild from ChocoPro to face MagiRabi. Hikari Noa gets another Hardcore Match but this time it’s Nao Kakuta who is the newcomer to that style. Pom Harajuku is bringing in a more wacky atmosphere by taking on Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi. The opener is something more normal with Haruna Neko versus Mahiro Kiryu.

4. Ganjo Special Mixed Tag Match: Keisuke Ishii & Ann Cham defeated Ken Ohka & Miyako Matsumoto when Ishii pinned Matsumoto with the Hidoiwaza (14:00).
5. Secret Captain’s Fall Elimination 6-Woman Tag Match: Yuu Yamagata, Makoto & HARUKAZE (C) defeated Yuna Manase (C), Moeka Haruhi & Cherry (16:01).
5a. HARUKAZE (C) eliminated Cherry by Ring Out (8:13).
5b. Yuna Manase eliminated Makoto by Ring Out (9:03).
5c. Yuu Yamagata eliminated Moeka Haruhi by Ring Out (12:10).
5d. Yuna Manase (C) eliminated Yuu Yamagata by Ring Out (13:11).
5e. HARUKAZE (C) eliminated Yuna Manase (C) with a Cradle Cutback (16:01).

The Captain’s Fall Elimination match went with an extra rule that said the captains would not be revealed until they were eliminated. Cherry and Makoto were the first two eliminations. Moeka Haruhi tried to sacrifice herself by holding onto Yuu Yamagata on the apron. Yuna Manase charged into both of them but only Haruhi fell to the ground, getting eliminated in the process. However, Haruhi grabbed Yamagata again and pulled her to the floor to take her out of the match. The referee never called an end so it was concluded that the final two wrestlers Manase and HARUKAZE were the team captains. Manase gave HARUKAZE the Suzuki Dynamic but during the pinfall, HARUKAZE rolled through the momentum and pinned Manase for the 3 count out of nowhere.

HARUKAZE celebrated getting to beat Manase for the second time in a row. She said Manase has tunnel vision and needs to expand her horizons. Otherwise she will never be able to beat Yamagata. Then Yamagata got to speak. She admitted Ganbare☆Joshi has gotten more interesting than the last time she was here. But she thinks GanJo are all idiots for thinking she was going to be the team captain. This is a GanJo ring so it only makes sense for HARUKAZE to be the captain. The team left Manase and Haruhi to deal with the defeat.

Manase was certain she was going to win today but HARUKAZE beat her for the second time in a row. There was something different about her compared to when they used to team together. Maybe Manase is weak. Haruhi tried to motivate Manase and told her to stay standing no matter what. She set a goal to defeat Yuu Yamagata. Haruhi herself fought with all her might to make sure their team would win today. It wasn’t enough but Haruhi isn’t embarrassed about it. As she was saying this, Manase started losing her concentration and began to mumble about her parents and grandparents. Cherry brought Haruhi backstage to calm down, leaving Manase alone in the ring.

Suddenly Saki Akai made her entrance and stood in the ring with Manase. She came to see what Ganbare☆Joshi was all about and this is what she gets? Where is the Yuna Manase who kept standing up when Akai knocked her down over and over in DDT last month? That’s the Yuna Manase who Akai and the fans want to see. If Manase was at her most exciting chasing after Akai then Akai wants to keep an eye on her so she won’t run out of steam. Manase said the next GanJo show is happening on 7th November and she wants to team with Akai there. Akai accepted the offer. Backstage Yamagata was told the news and she replied she doesn’t know who Saki Akai is.

The start to YuuRI’s trial series saw the newcomer lose to Asuka. At first Asuka was dismissive of her opponent but it was intended to bring out the fire in her. She told YuuRI “good job” after the match but was left feeling frustrated by the whole experience. While Asuka does appreciate YuuRI showing respect to her, she still thought her effort in the ring was too amateurish. Maybe it isn’t YuuRI’s fault because Asuka wants something interesting to do in Ganbare☆Pro and hasn’t been able to find it lately. YuuRI meanwhile found out from Ken Ohka who her second trial opponent will be. She will face Maya Yukihi on 7th November.

Mizuki Watase got a big boost of encouragement by getting the win in his tag match. He & Shigehiro Irie gave Masayuki Mitomi a Double Stomp/Tombstone combo and Watase then finished him off with the Back Drop. Watase said Irie is entrusting him with everything to win the Ganbare☆Climax because Irie himself is not entering it. Today is just the beginning and Watase believes he is in the best position to win the tournament.
