6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title – LEC Cleanpa! Presents Ganbare☆Climax 2021 Final: X Vs X

We already saw what Shuichiro Katsumura and Yumehito Imanari have been doing to prepare for the Ganbare☆Climax finals. This week the outsiders Tetsuhiro Kuroda and Tatsuhito Takaiwa were interviewed about their thoughts over the tournament. Kuroda was so impressed by Ken Ohka taking so many Lariats in their match that he wants him to be his first challenger if he becomes the first Spirit Of Ganbare Champion. He understands that Imanari is growing stronger but Kuroda has been wrestling for 29 years now. He wants to win because he can.

Takaiwa has mixed opinions on his tournament matches so far. Taison Maeguchi is a complete novice in pro wrestling so Takaiwa only cared about bringing out his feelings in the ring. The match against Mizuki Watase however felt more like pro wrestling. Both matches warmed Takaiwa’s heart in some way. He will be cautious against Katsumura but believes he has the heart to win the tournament. If he wins the Spirit Of Ganbare Title then he will have a Triple Crown of indie titles made up of that, the UWA World Jr. Title and the WEW Jr. Title. Takaiwa was also the first ever IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champion with Shinjiro Otani. Since Otani has a relationship with Ganbare☆Pro that means Takaiwa has no choice but to become the first Spirit Of Ganbare Champion!

0. Dark Match: Yusuke Okada Vs Mizuki Watase

5. DDT Universal Title: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs Soma Takao
6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – Final: Yuki Ueno Vs Konosuke Takeshita

The final is all about The 37KAMIINA. High school classmates Yuki Ueno and Konosuke Takeshita both won their blocks and have a big clash set for Korakuen Hall. Takeshita is unbeaten in this tournament while holding the KO-D Openweight Title. Ueno has climbed tooth and nail past a very difficult cast of opponents to meet his friend up at the top.

Daisuke Sasaki revealed that around ten years ago, Soma Takao made him eat dog food. He didn’t give much detail as to why it happened but the humiliation never left him. All this time they were together in DAMNATION and Sasaki let his anger over it linger. Apparently this was all part of a very long term plan. Sasaki brought Takao into DAMNATION just so he could eventually attack him from behind and make him eat dog food!

All of the D-Ou Grand Prix participants who failed to make the final are in a big 10-Man Tag Match. It’s the A Block Vs the B Block!

Two weeks before their Current Blast Death Match, Pheromones get Sanshiro Takagi all to themselves in a Handicap Match. Takagi has to have a trick up his sleeve otherwise why would he end up in a situation like this?

DDT “NEVER MIND 2021 TOUR IN SHINJUKU”, 12/12/2021
Shinjuku FACE

1. DDT Extreme Title – No Seconds Rule: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari

The DDT GM Hisaya Imabayashi has accused Yumehito Imanari as being the root of all evil behind the existence of Pheromones. He is calling in Shinya Aoki to deal with Imanari and get rid of him. Aoki also decided to put the DDT Extreme Title on the line and used his power as champion to ban all ringside attendants. That means Pheromones cannot be in Imanari’s corner. Imanari promised the match will still be indecent and he can’t wait for Aoki to experience it.

DDT “DRAMATIC EXPLOSION 2021”, 18/12/2021
Nagoya Congress Center Event Hall

1. Hardcore Match: Shunma Katsumata Vs Hyper Misao
2. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Susumu Yokosuka, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata Vs Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Akito
3. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles – Current Blast Death Match: Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari (c) Vs Atsushi Onita, Sanshiro Takagi & Kuro-chan

Hyper Misao felt left out when Shunma Katsumata didn’t include her in yesterday’s Hardcore Dark Match. She also wants revenge for The 37KAMIINA humiliating her at the Tokyo Dome last month. The solution is to challenge Katsumata to a Hardcore Match!

DDT “NEVER MIND 2021 IN YOYOGI”, 26/12/2021
Yoyogi National Stadium 2nd Gymnasium

0. Dark Match – DDTeeeen!! Special Single Match: Ilusion Vs Vent Vert Jack
1. Special Single Match: Shuji Kondo Vs Kazuki Hirata
2. DDT Universal Title: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs X
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs X

Two birthday gifts were given to Kazuki Hirata for next month’s big show in Nagoya. He is confused about both. He doesn’t understand why he is getting a match against Shuji Kondo because they never wrestled before despite being connected via DRAGONGATE. Hirata also doesn’t know why bringing in Maku Donaruto is a present for him.

D-Ou Grand Prix Tiebreakers, Harajuku’s 3rd Anniversary, Owashi Invites Yokosuka Over

November 16, 2021

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “IT’S TIME TO GO”, 20/11/2021
Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall

1. Yuki Aino Vs Moka Miyamoto
2. Hyper Misao Vs Arisu Endo
3. 3 Way Match: Marika Kobashi Vs Moka Miyamoto Vs Mahiro Kiryu
4. Yuki Kamifuku & Mizuki Vs Suzume & Haruna Neko
5. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh, Nodoka Tenma, Miu Watanabe & Yuki Arai Vs Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki, Hikari Noa, Shoko Nakajima & Rika Tatsumi

A premium 10-Woman Tag Match is put together to build up the Korakuen Hall show happening five days later. Four matches are represented here: The Magical Sugar Rabbits Vs 121000000 main event, Hikari Noa Vs Miu Watanabe beneath that, Rika Tatsumi Vs Yuki Arai and Shoko Nakajima Vs Nodoka Tenma.

DDT “D-OU GRAND PRIX 2021 II IN KORAKUEN HALL”, 21/11/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

0. Dark Match: Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi, Antonio Honda, Akito & Yusuke Okada Vs Toru Owashi, Naomi Yoshimura, Kazuki Hirata, Saki Akai & Yuki Ishida
0. Dark Match Shunma Katsumata Produce – My First Hardcore Match: Shunma Katsumata & Toui Kojima Vs Hideki Okatani & Yuya Koroku
1. Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul Vs Soma Takao & Mizuki Watase
2. Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari Vs Yuji Hino, MAO & Yukio Naya
3. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – A Block: Jun Akiyama (4) Vs Bodyguard (4)
4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: HARASHIMA (0) Vs Yuji Okabayashi (7)
5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (7) Vs Kazusada Higuchi (4)
6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – A Block: Tetsuya Endo (6) Vs Yuki Ueno (4)

The last day of the group stages is coming down to the wire in both blocks. If Tetsuya Endo wins the main event or it ends in a draw then he qualifies for the final. I think if Yuki Ueno wins he will go straight to the final because he will get the Head To Head tiebreakers over Endo and Yuji Hino. Where it gets confusing is if Jun Akiyama or Bodyguard also wins and we end up with a four way tie. I guess it would still be Ueno because he will have two Head To Head wins in this bubble and the others will just have one. Does that come into effect with Bodyguard thought because he already beat Ueno? Oh my head hurts.

The B Block is more simpler. The race is between Konosuke Takeshita and Yuji Okabayashi who are both unbeaten. If they still end up with the same points after their matches then a sudden death tiebreaker must take place. Their previous match was a draw so there is no other way to determine who goes through (I think there was a G1 that used total match times as a tiebreaker one year but we’re getting too far into the weeds at this point).

Kenta Kobashi and Tetsu Inada will be at the show. Maybe they can figure out the tiebreakers.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2021 AUTUMN ~KACHO GETSURO~”, 23/11/2021
Tokyo Narimasu Act Hall

1. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Pom Harajuku
2. 3 Way Match: Shoko Nakajima Vs Raku Vs Arisu Endo
3. Hyper Misao & Miu Watanabe Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Mahiro Kiryu
4. Mizuki, Hikari Noa & Marika Kobashi Vs Nodoka Tenma, Nao Kakuta & Haruna Neko
5. Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh & Suzume Vs Rika Tatsumi, Yuki Aino & Moka Miyamoto

Pom Harajuku is celebrating her 3rd anniversary as a pro wrestler next week so she gets to relive her debut match all over again. She takes on her first ever opponent Yuka Sakazaki in the very same venue where her career began back in 2018.

Two days before they have their match in Korakuen, Hyper Misao and Yuki Kamifuku face off in tag team action.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “DASH! GLIDE! NAGOYA CASTLE!”, 18/12/2021
Nagoya Congress Center Event Hall

1. Special Single Match: Miyu Yamashita Vs Yuki Arai

The biggest challenge of Yuki Arai’s pro wrestling life is coming. She has been asking for a match against Miyu Yamashita and it will happen at her idol home base in Nagoya.

DDT “DRAMATIC EXPLOSION 2021”, 18/12/2021
Nagoya Congress Center Event Hall

1. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Susumu Yokosuka, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata Vs Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Akito
2. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles – Current Blast Death Match: Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari (c) Vs Atsushi Onita, Sanshiro Takagi & Kuro-chan

The feud between Sanshiro Takagi and Pheromones is reaching extreme levels. A team was needed to take on Takagi, Atsushi Onita & Kuro-chan in the Current Blast Death Match so the challenge was thrown out for Pheromones to put the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles on the line!

Last time Toru Owashi invited a DRAGONGATE wrestler over to a DDT show in Nagoya it worked out pretty well. He’s doing it again by booking Susumu Yokosuka to team with him and Kazuki Hirata. Bet Yokosuka is thrilled, we all know about his dancing efforts. This will be his first time in DDT proper if you ignore the Dramatic Dream Gate shows from 2007 and 2008.

DDT “D-OU GRAND PRIX 2021 II IN OSAKA” Results

November 14, 2021

DDT “D-OU GRAND PRIX 2021 II IN OSAKA”, 14/11/2021
Osaka 176BOX
229 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. 3 Way Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo & Yusuke Okada defeated Toru Owashi & Yuki Ishida and Shunma Katsumata & Toui Kojima when Endo pinned Kojima with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (6:07).
2. Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno & Yuki “Sexy” Iino defeated Sanshiro Takagi & Yuya Koroku when Iino submitted Koroku with the Sexy Death Lock (8:53).
3. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – A Block: Yuji Hino (6) defeated Naomi Yoshimura (2) with the Fuckin’ BOMB (10:13).
4. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – A Block: Bodyguard (4) defeated Yuki Ueno (4) by TKO with the Rising Dragon (10:45).
5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: Chris Brookes (4) defeated MAO (4) by Countout (16:51).
6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: Konosuke Takeshita (7) defeated HARASHIMA (0) with the Roll-Through German Suplex (16:19).
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II – B Block: Yuji Okabayashi (7) defeated Kazusada Higuchi (4) with the Golem Splash (23:39).

A Block

1. Tetsuya Endo (6)
-. Yuji Hino (6)
3. Bodyguard (4)
-. Yuki Ueno (4)
-. Jun Akiyama (4)
6. Naomi Yoshimura (2)

B Block

1. Konosuke Takeshita (7)
-. Yuji Okabayashi (7)
3. Kazusada Higuchi (4)
-. Chris Brookes (4)
-. MAO (4)
6. HARASHIMA (0)

The race in B Block is as tight as it ever could be between two people. Yuji Okabayashi kept up his unbeaten streak by defeating Kazusada Higuchi. In a show of bravado during the match Higuchi told the crowd he was about to do the Golem Splash. But when he climbed the ropes, Okabayashi rushed up to him and did an Avalanche Brainbuster. Okabayashi then said he would do the Golem Splash and Higuchi did the same Avalanche Brainbuster to him. Clashing Lariats afterward almost knocked both of them out but they each got back up before the 10 count. Okabayashi deflected the Brain Claw with more Lariats but that along with a Power Bomb couldn’t keep Higuchi down. It took the Golem Splash hit full and proper for Okabayashi to finally win. He told Higuchi after the match that they would fight each other again some day.

Konosuke Takeshita also won his match today in order to stay neck and neck with Okabayashi. The victory was over the winless HARASHIMA, continuing the longtime veteran’s fall from grace throughout this edition of the D-Ou Grand Prix. HARASHIMA missing the Somato gave Takeshita the opening to win with the Roll-Through German Suplex. The result is not being taken for granted. Takeshita knew HARASHIMA is in good shape despite his losing streak. What’s different is Takeshita’s generation have now figured out their own ways of beating the old guard in DDT after studying them. For example, Takeshita says he has about 10 ways to counter the Somato and he used 3 or 4 of them today. On the final day Takeshita has to face Higuchi while Okabayashi will take on HARASHIMA. The results will decide who goes through to the grand final which is all the motivation Higuchi and HARASHIMA need to play spoiler.

With nothing to fight for except pride in their final block match, Chris Brookes and MAO took it upon themselves to make a mess around the venue. They fought outside the ring where MAO tried to run Brookes over with a massive truck tyre. They then went up to the balcony and Brookes tried to throw MAO over the railing. If that wasn’t enough they took the fight outside the building. The audience that stayed inside had to look at Makoto Oishi promoting Wrestle Universe while they waited for the wrestlers to return. Outside the building there was a castle of chairs built for Brookes to crash MAO into. As they chased each other back inside, Brookes gave MAO the Praying Mantis Bomb through some chairs. He then wedged MAO upside down into a stack of other chairs and made it back to the ring in time to be declared the winner by countout. Brookes said the result was not a surprise because MAO is stupid and easy to beat. MAO said Brookes was meant to be in DDT and this is the DDT he fell in love with.

Over in the A Block the competitive field has become more open with today’s results. Bodyguard cut off Yuki Ueno’s momentum with his sheer power. He blocked the WR and used the Rising High Kick to great effect. Once Ueno was put into the Rising Dragon he had nothing left and the match was stopped. Ueno’s back and forth results makes him think he is alternating between dream and reality. He’s been learning more about himself in this tournament than he was when he held the DDT Universal Title. He now has to fight Tetsuya Endo on the final day while Bodyguard meets Jun Akiyama.

Yuji Hino shares the top spot with Endo going into the final day. Unlucky Naomi Yoshimura didn’t have the power in his Lariats to put down the bigger opponent. Instead Hino lifted him up and Fuckin’ BOMBed him for the win. Now all Hino has left to do is wait and see how the remaining block matches on 21st November will go. It’s out of his hands right now. Yoshimura thinks it is pathetic that he could only win one match in this tournament. He can’t figure out how he was able to beat Yuki Ueno but lose to everyone else. He doesn’t know what is keeping him from beating Jun Akiyama or what the difference is between himself and Yuji Hino. He is a tag champion but didn’t bring the belt for all of his matches because he was focused on singles wrestling. All he can promise right now is to work harder in both singles and tag wrestling from now on for both himself and DISASTER BOX.

A bombshell was dropped at the start of the show when the GM Hisaya Imabayashi was convinced to join Pheromones! At first they were going to take him hostage but Danshoku Dieno started asking when was the last time Sanshiro Takagi said “thank you” to him? The GM made his decision by giving Takagi a Stunner. He then started screaming “Employees are not slaves! Raise their Wages! Give them more holidays!” before storming off with his new allies. Takagi told the audience Imabayashi was just tired from working hard.

Imabayashi came back out for the Pheromones match continuing to his rallying cry for workers around the country to stand up against their bosses. Dieno offered him a chair to attack Takagi with but Imabayashi had a change of heart and couldn’t do it. He then gave Dieno a Brainbuster when Dieno tried to bully him! Pheromones knocked him out while Yuki Iino submitted Yuya Koroku to win. After the match Takagi challenged Pheromones for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles as revenge for them harming his employee. His tag partners are going to be Atsushi Onita and Kuro-chan. That’s right, the Current Blast Death Match happening in Nagoya on 18th December is now a title defence for Pheromones! Dieno threatened to blast Takagi in every position Imabayashi was blasted in. When they left, Takagi told an unconscious Imabayashi to please come to work on time tomorrow morning. He’ll be limited to only working 8 hours a day so he won’t get tired again. But that’s it!

After looking into the recent rule changes in Japan, BASARA will allow their audience to cheer at their show tomorrow. I think this will be one of the first wrestling shows in Japan to get loud fans back but it is on a very small scale. BASARA have kept their attendance numbers private throughout the entire pandemic for a reason. It’s progress towards getting a good atmosphere back in Japanese wrestling shows but it won’t be a big crowd to begin with.

A Block

1. Yuki Ueno (2)

3. Naomi Yoshimura (0)
-. Bodyguard (0)
-. Jun Akiyama (0)
-. Yuji Hino (0)

B Block

1. Kazusada Higuchi (2)
2. Konosuke Takeshita (1)
-. Yuji Okabayashi (1)
4. Chris Brookes (0)
-. MAO (0)
-. HARASHIMA (0)

The first four matches in the D-Ou Grand Prix 2021 II took place inside Ota Ward Gymnasium. In the main event Konosuke Takeshita was taken to the limit by Yuji Okabayashi until the time expired. The Plus Ultra and German Suplex couldn’t put Okabayashi. But on the other hand the Golem Splash and Argentine Backbreaker wasn’t enough to beat Takeshita either. Takeshita was fighting to apply the Plus Ultra once more when the bell rang and the match ended in a draw. Takeshita is pleased with the result because he wanted to test his current power. He concluded that he is in great shape and has become a stronger wrestler. It was a contest of strength and Takeshita believes he went all out in Ota Ward today. Now he wants a rematch with Okabayashi and he thinks winning the D-Ou GP will make that happen. It could also happen in a tiebreaker if there is a tie for 1st place in their block. Okabayashi is frustrated over what happened. He doesn’t lose power struggles inside the ring that often. He promises to win the rest of the tournament and crush Takeshita whenever they cross paths again.

Today went exactly how Yuki Ueno imagined it would go. He expected the Knee Strikes, the Front Neck Lock and the Exploder Suplexes. After a perfectly placed Dropkick to the face, Ueno used the WR to beat Jun Akiyama! Everything went right for Ueno which makes him thinks this edition of the D-Ou GP will be a very good tournament for him. Akiyama accepts the result and the situation. It didn’t matter how much of the match he controlled, he still lost in the end. It can’t be helped if he has a target on his back for the younger generation to aim for.

The question going into Tetsuya Endo Vs Yuji Hino was whether or not Endo could give his larger opponent the Torture Rack Bomb. It took some effort but he was finally able to deliver the move. However the move took something out of him too and a delayed pin allowed Hino to kick out at two. Endo had to change his plan and attempted the Canadian Destroyer. Hino blocked the move but Endo then suddenly Cradled him and held him down for dear life to get the three count. Now that DAMNATION is gone, Endo said today is the first step towards becoming the top wrestler in DDT again. He thinks DDT wouldn’t be fun if he wasn’t on top. His next opponent is Naomi Yoshimura. Endo revealed that the two knew each other before Yoshimura joined DDT. He used to tease Endo all the time for having skinny legs. Endo promises he will break Yoshimura’s legs for revenge! Hino is immediately moving on from this loss to focus on his next opponent, Jun Akiyama.

The rivalry between HARASHIMA and Kazusada Higuchi resurfaced once more. At first HARASHIMA targeted his Higuchi’s legs but the match turned into the two throwing bombs at each other. HARASHIMA went for the big finish by doing a Springboard but Higuchi caught him in the Brain Claw. That by itself couldn’t win the match so Higuchi turned it into a big Brain Claw Slam to earn the victory. For Higuchi the win is another step forward. It builds his confidence and makes him think he will win the D-Ou GP. HARASHIMA is sorry he lost but believes he is still in great shape for the rest of the tournament.

The Hardcore Tag Match was carnage for the plastic boxes getting destroyed all over the place. MAO gave a shoutout to Speedball Mike Bailey by doing the Ultima Weapon onto Chris Brookes. He then stapled a Wrestle Universe advert onto Drew Parker’s forehead. Brookes did the same to him. Shunma Katsumata then took it further by stapling an ad onto Parker’s tongue. Parker fought back with a dart but Katsumata shoved it back into his mouth and pierced it through Parker’s cheek! Katsumata & MAO then tried the NepoWER Shower but Brookes got out of the way, leaving them to crash into more boxes. Parker put MAO through a table with the Swanton Bomb and then hit the Spiral Tap on Katsumata. He and Brookes then finished Katsumata off with a Super Power Bomb onto more plastic boxes. Parker greeted the DDT fans afterwards and gave his support to Brookes for the D-Ou GP.

Match #3 fell apart after an accidental ref bump caused by Yoshimura. He & Bodyguard were able to Double Choke Slam MJ Paul. Then Daisuke Sasaki brought a chair into the ring and he lured Yoshimura into Clotheslining Bodyguard by accident. Soma Takao then ran in and attacked Sasaki while Yoshimura & Bodyguard started fighting each other. Yukinori Matsui regained consciousness and saw chaos in the ring so he called off the match. It just so happens that Yoshimura and Bodyguard are facing each other in the D-Ou GP this Saturday. That’s convenient. Takao still wants an explanation from Sasaki as to why he turned his back on him. Sasaki thinks Takao is now working for Ganbare☆Pro and wants security to do a better job keeping wrestlers from other places invading DDT.

Saki Akai & Masahiro Takanashi were joined by Yukio Sakaguchi for their match. There wasn’t the same level of harmony for Chihiro Hashimoto & Yukio Naya. The finish saw Hashimoto grabbing Takanashi to do the Albright German Suplex. Then due to a lot of scrambling in the ring, Hashimoto ended up giving the Albright to her tag partner instead. Takanashi then pinned Naya to steal the win. Despite the result, Hashimoto wants to come back and wrestle Akai again. Akai will be wrestling at Sendai Girls on 23rd November so they can sort something out there is Akai wants to.

You’ll need more than handcuffs to stop Pheromones from their antics. Sanshiro Takagi’s plans couldn’t prevent them from becoming the new KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Takagi brought out the Dramatic Dream bike to drill into his opponents. Danshoku Dieno took out Shinya Aoki with the Lip Lock. He then got into the Hell Gate position and Yumehito Imanari sprayed fire extinguisher through it into Yusuke Okada. Imanari then handcuffed Okada and left him vulnerable for Yuki Iino’s Sexy Lariat for the finish. Dieno told the “Pheromaniacs” that the unit now cannot be disbanded and they will continue to take everyone to their land of dreams!

The show began with Kenta Kobashi introducing the D-Ou GP entries and receiving the trophy from the previous winner Akiyama. He declared the D-Ou Grand Prix open and watched the matches from the broadcast table. He praised the four tournament matches today and thinks the rest of the tournament will be just as good.

There were three pre-show matches including a title bout. The KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles changed hands when Team Olympian lost to Toru Owashi and the so-called DDT Variety Team. Both teams agreed to No Tag Rules for the match to keep the action going. The big highlight was the first time meeting of Yoshiaki Yatsu and Yoshihiko that ended with Yatsu putting the doll in the Prison Lock until Antonio Honda broke it up. Yoshihiko then flew out of the ring after Hiroshi Yamato gave Kazuki Hirata a German Suplex. Akito & Keigo Nakamura focused on Hirata until Yoshihiko came back in for the rescue. Their teamwork together was the difference maker and Hirata pinned Nakamura after an assisted Reincarnation from Yoshihiko. Honda said there are a lot of units in DDT now but if they can get rid of those groups one by one then they can climb up the card all the way up to the main event! Backstage Yatsu was impressed by the depth of Yoshihiko’s abilities.

Takao had a friendlier time in the ring with Baliyan Akki than he did with DAMNATION T.A. Akki put up a good fight by hitting a No Touch Topé Suicida and the Namaste Press. But Takao caught him in the Official Endless Waltz to wear him out and get the three count.

Toui Kojima is back and the new generation of DDT is complete again. Even better for Kojima, he got his first win too. Yuya Koroku and Hideki Okatani kept each other busy so it came down to Kojima and the newest rookie Yuki Ishida. Kojima used a Full Nelson Buster to beat him. Now that his elbows are completely healed, Kojima is going back to his goal of joining The 37KAMIINA!

6. Chiba Specialty Special 6-Man Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & MAO defeated Yuji Hino, Kazusada Higuchi & Hiroshi Yamato when Takeshita submitted Yamato with the Plus Ultra (19:47).
7. Dark Match: Tetsuya Endo Vs DJ Nira was a Dream… (16:55)?

The main event was all a dream shared through the consciousness of the entire audience. When The 37KAMIINA won their match and finished their victory speech, the shutter gate of 2AW Square opened up and then closed. DJ Nira was then dragged out to the ring for the final match, which was announced as a dark match. Tetsuya Endo came out and Nira tried to stab him with his umbrella. Nira warned Endo he missed his only chance to beat him but Endo then easily knocked him down with an Elbow Strike. Nira grabbed his umbrella again but this time stabbed himself. Endo was confused but continued wrestling. He put Nira in an Airplane Spin and it accidentally knocked out Yukinori Matsui when Nira’s feet clipped him in the head. Suddenly the lights would constantly switch off and on with the scene in the ring switching to something each time. Narration explained that Nira destroyed Endo’s knee in exchange for his life. And from that knee, a new life was born! Antonio Honda appeared in the ring wearing a diaper and crying. Nira and Endo encouraged him to stop crying and stand up. Honda did but quickly fell down and ran out of the ring. Nira told Endo the founder of an old wrestling school was here today and they should meet him. Toru Owashi then brought Honda back out, this time wearing an Ultimo Dragon mask. Everyone at ringside began singing “Seperados”, pulled down their shorts to reveal diapers underneath and formed a human pyramid in front of Endo with Nira on top. Nira jumped off the pyramid to do a Rocket Punch but missed Endo and crashed to the mat. The room went dark and narration explained that the wrestling school collapsed. The room lit up again to reveal a sleeping Matsui being woken up by Hisaya Imabayashi in the middle of the ring with no one else there. Matsui said he just had a dream and the show ended right at that moment.

In his post-match interview, Endo only talked about his opening D-Ou Grand Prix match against Yuji Hino and his goal to win all of his group bouts before facing Kazusada Higuchi in the final. He spoke nothing about what had happened earlier.

Konosuke Takeshita described he is at his best performance in time for the D-Ou Grand Prix. However since MAO is in his same group, MAO told him they are now enemies for the time being. Takeshita agrees even though they are on the same team for tomorrow’s Tokyo Dome empty arena match. Both will be aiming for the final where they expect Yuki Ueno to be on the other side after he wins his block. Shunma Katsumata isn’t in the tournament so they let him finish off the speech so he wouldn’t feel left out. He said if The 37KAMIINA wins the 5,000,000 yen cash prize in the Tokyo Dome then they will all go to Finland to celebrate in their saunas!

Today was Soma Takao’s first chance to get his hands on DAMNATION T.A since they attacked him. It didn’t fare well for him. Daisuke Sasaki attacked him from the get go then he & MJ Paul targeted Hideki Okatani with dirty tactics. Takao got a second wind but DAMNATION T.A’s teamwork overwhelmed him and Okatani. They got rid of Takao outside the ring and Paul hit the Death Valley Bomb on Okatani to win. Sasaki taunted Takao afterwards and when Takao tried to speak on the microphone, Sasaki knocked him out with a Super Kick. Sasaki then said he doesn’t care about Takao and doesn’t want to be involved with him ever again! The quality of DAMNATION T.A would only drop if they were to let him back in. Takao is now left wondering what he has done to be betrayed like this.

Yukio Naya was able to get the win for his match because Jun Akiyama struck Kazuki Hirata with a Knee Strike to set up the Back Drop finish. Akiyama said he wants Naya to wake up and find something good in his abilities because he thinks they will be working together in the future.

The D-Ou Grand Prix is on everyone’s minds. Ueno watched Yuji Hino’s match and found out he is much stronger than he expected. He also has the opening match with Akiyama coming up but Ueno has more goals he wants to achieve than just beating Akiyama.

The Pheromones match went too far out of control again. They wanted to do their antics on Saki Akai which crossed a line according to Imabayashi and got the match thrown out. Sanshiro Takagi then entered the ring to rescue the GM but Pheromones attacked him until Yusuke Okada came out for the save. Dieno got on the microphone and said if their matches keep getting stopped then they will never get to wrestle from start to finish. He demanded that the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles match at Ota Ward Gymnasium must not be prematurely stopped or end in disqualification. Dieno then forced Imabayashi to officially make the match on 3rd November No DQ.

Remember those awesome trios tournaments some wrestling company used to do a decade ago? Nobody else is doing it now so let’s have DDT and Big Japan have a go with it. The annual New Year’s Eve Shuffle Tag Tournament will use a trios format for the 2021 edition. All eight teams will be made up of wrestlers from DDT, Big Japan and a wild card group of other wrestlers. Two non-tournament matches will also be on the show and like last year it will only run for around 2 and a half hours.
