*Ghost Story Artist: Hisaya Imabayashi
4. Beer Garden Specialty Customer Lottery 8-Man Tag Match: Kazuki Hirata, Yuki Ueno, Yuya Koroku & Antonio Honda (w/ KIMIHIRO) defeated To-y, MAO, Takeshi Masada & Yuki Ishida when Honda pinned Ishida with the Japanese Leg Roll Clutch (15:22).
5. Noryo KING OF DRUNK Decision Match: HARASHIMA Vs Daisuke Sasaki Vs Chris Brookes ended in a Draw after a Triple Pinfall (21:45).
6. KO-D Openweight Title Next Challenger Battle Royal: Yuki Ueno defeated Kazuki Hirata when Hirata gave up after being scared of the WR (14:04).
Order Of Eliminations: Chris Brookes, Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion & MJ Paul, HARASHIMA, Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao, To-y, Yuki Ishida, Yuya Koroku, Antonio Honda, Akito, Shinya Aoki, Yuki Iino & Daichi Sato, Kazuma Sumi, Takeshi Masada, KANON, Kazuki Hirata.

All of a sudden a Beer Garden show had a big stake main event added to it. A 21-Man Battle Royal took place where the winner would get a KO-D Openweight Title shot for “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025 – DAY 2” on 31st August. HARASHIMA, Chris Brookes and Daisuke Sasaki had just fought each other to a 20+ minute draw in a King Of Drunk match and had to immediately take part in the Battle Royal without getting any break to sober up. Brookes ended up falling out of the ring by himself to be the first one eliminated. The match looked like it came down to Yuki Ueno and KANON but when Ueno pinned KANON to eliminate him, Kazuki Hirata jumped into the ring after spending the whole match hiding away from everyone else. Ueno kicked out of the Roll Up and grabbed Hirata to give him the WR. Hirata was too scared to take the move and gave up before Ueno could do it. After being declared the winner, Ueno talked about the joy he gets from seeing DDT get more popular. If he gets to challenge for the KO-D Title this summer then that means he is going to win it and make DDT even more interesting! His title shot is also happening the day before his birthday so he is looking forward to it even more.

The annual Customer Lottery match added a bonus treat for everyone. Not only were the two teams determined by a fan lottery but the wrestlers swapped each other’s costumes around too! Yuki Ishida was To-y, Antonio Honda was Ishida, Takeshi Masada was Yuya Koroku, Koroku was MAO, MAO was Masada, Ueno was Honda, To-y was Hirata and Hirata was Ueno.

The undercard had some changes due to some injuries. Yukio Naya has to take the rest of the week off to deal with neck pains so Ryoma Tsukamoto was brought in to team with Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Iino. The match still served as a preview for the KO-D Tag Team Titles match because Iino and Daichi Sato fought each other back and forth. They didn’t even stop when the match had ended. When they had finally stopped, Iino sent a message backstage by saying he wants Sato to give him more and more until the title match takes place. Sato knows Iino is bigger and stronger than him but he wants to know can The Apex really call themselves tag champs when Naya has to be absent for the next few shows? He wants Naya to fully recover in time for the title match.

Yuni is also injured with a cracked rib he suffered from yesterday’s show. He had to miss his match today but was able to be in attendance so he could perform with the rest of NωA Jr.

1. Yuya Koroku defeated Yuki Ishida with the Chickenwing Arm Lock (9:51).
2. Director Contra Retirement Match: Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya, HARASHIMA & Akito defeated Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, Ilusion, MJ Paul & Mataro when Iino pinned Mataro with The Apex Elbow Drop (12:20).

4. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes defeated Daichi Sato, Yuni & Kazuma Sumi when Higuchi pinned Yuni with a Body Slam (14:16).
5. DDT Extreme Title – About 24 Hours!! 10,000 Yen Of Pocket Money!! Pro Wrestling Excursion Death Match: To-y (c) defeated Hikaru Sato with the Kaze Ni Nare Splash (25:43:21).
*V1 for To-y.
6. Special Single Match: Danshoku Dieno defeated KANON with the Gaydo Clutch (11:55).

During the start of the show Danshoku Dieno and KANON had an interaction over at the autograph session that resulted in them getting into a fight. HARASHIMA stepped in to calm them down and the two bowed to each other in apology. However they ended up clashing heads and swapping bodies with each other! For the main event Dieno walked out wearing KANON’s gear and being accompanied by the rest of Strange Love Connection while KANON appeared in Dieno’s gear doing his style of entrance. Dieno in KANON’s body eventually put himself in the Hell Gate position where several wrestlers at ringside were thrown face first into his backside. Ryoma Tsukamoto, MAO, Kazuma Sumi and Yuki Ishida were all made victims of this and they all stripped off their clothes to reveal they were wearing Danshoku outfits underneath! While they caused chaos in the venue, KANON and Dieno clashed heads again and swapped their bodies back to normal. Dieno then gave KANON the Lip Lock and pinned him with the Gaydo Clutch. KIMIHIRO tried to close out the show with SLC but MAO & KANON both gave him the Lip Lock instead. Backstage Dieno said he isn’t sure if today gives him any momentum for his upcoming match against Hiroshi Tanahashi. But he did Tanahashi’s “Aishitemasu” pose to send him a message.

In the 24 hours leading into this show To-y and Hikaru Sato were given pocket money to spend on anything they wanted to use as weapons for their DDT Extreme Title match. The rules also allowed them to find ways to increase their pocket money whether it was through a public autograph session or even gambling. The match itself was also ongoing but the two were so busy finding ways to make cash and spend it that they ignored fighting each other until they actually got to the venue. To-y actually travelled to Odaiba and Sato to Harajuku at certain points in the day in search of allies to hire. To-y tried to hire Yukio Naya and Shunma Katsumata while Sato gave money to Minoru Suzuki but it turned out it was only to buy some stuff from his Piledriver shop. However it turned out Sato did indeed buy some hired goons because Ryoma Tsukamoto, Takahiro Tababa and Gajo all agreed to attack To-y for only 100 yen each. However Yuya Koroku decided to come to To-y’s rescue and even the odds somewhat. Sato put on a Minoru Suzuki shirt and the image of Suzuki intimidated To-y. But To-y took the shirt off Sato and put it on himself, causing Sato to freeze in fear at the sight of Suzuki staring back at him. The shirt also intimidated the goons into joining To-y’s side and they all piled on top of Sato after To-y did a Diving Splash while shouting “Kaze Ni Nare”. To-y said it was fate that Sato was his first challenger for the Extreme Title (actually it was a fan vote on Twitter). He also told him that any money he lent from him would not be given back. Koroku though helped To-y for free so rather than give him money, To-y asked if he would like to challenge for the Extreme Title instead? Koroku said yes because he is jealous of To-y for being the first D GENERATIONS wrestler to win that championship. The title match will go ahead at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025 – DAY 1” on 30th August.

Daichi Sato was convinced by NωA Jr. to join in with their musical entrance for the 6-Man Tag Match. While they tried their best in the actual match they ended up being picked apart by Kazusada Higuchi, Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes. The finish came from Higuchi repeatedly Body Slamming Yuni, encouraging him to get back up after each one. Yuni tried fighting back with some Elbow Strikes but Higuchi knocked him down with a Chop and pinned him with one final Body Slam. He gave him words of encouragement after the match, explaining that if he feels frustrated then that means he is serious about wrestling. The hiatus he is about to take also shows he is taking his college entry exams seriously as well. So if there is only one thing Higuchi can say to him it is he must pass!

KIMIHIRO got involved in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Death Match a couple of ways. Most of the music for the match played over the speakers but at one point he sang along to it with MAO joining in for a duet. KIMIHIRO also joined in with the dancing by the end and was caught in a chain of Stunners that led to MAO pinning A.YAZAWA for the win.

There was a surprise return on the show when Mataro walked out with DAMNATION T.A instead of Daisuke Sasaki! He told Akito he came here today to rise up against the ruling elite! For the last 20 years he’s been working the cameras and videos for DDT and CyberFight and he is tired of recording third rate wrestlers! Akito decided if Mataro was going to wrestle this match then he must retire if he loses. But DAMNATION T.A won then Akito would step down as Vice President of CyberFight. When the match began Sasaki was found at ringside working as a cameraman and decided to join in on the action after all. Mataro tried to submit Yuki Iino with the Crossface and when that didn’t work he went for a Lariat while Sasaki held Iino from behind. Iino broke free and Mataro hit Sasaki by mistake. Iino then took Mataro down and pinned him with The Apex Elbow, forcing Mataro into retirement for a second time. He also got a retirement ceremony again.

The DDT Extreme Title match already begun earlier today. To-y and Hikaru Sato have spent the day in Shibuya where they held a public autograph session to raise more money to spend on weapons. To-y forgot to bring a marker so Sato is charging him 1,000 yen everytime To-y wants to borrow his own. When the session ended both wrestlers actually raised quite a bit of cash. Sato tweeted he added 40,000 yen to his allowance while To-y claims he raised 65,000 yen. Since then Sato went off to go find weapons to buy while To-y unsuccessfully tried to hire Yukio Naya as his bodyguard.

Unfortunately Antonio Honda has come down with a case of love sickness so he cannot compete tomorrow. A.YAZAWA will take his place in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Death Match.

DDT “OSAKA VS TOKYO – DREAM EAST VS WEST PRO WRESTLING BATTLE 2025”, 17/08/2025
Osaka Edion Arena #2

1. Rukiya Return Match: Rukiya Vs X
2. East Vs West Vs Unknown All-Out Competition ~ 3 Way Tag Match: Yuki Iino (Tokyo) & Yukio Naya (Tokyo) Vs Chris Brookes (UK) & Takeshi Masada (Osaka) Vs Ilusion (Unknown) & MJ Paul (Unknown)
3. East Vs West All-Out Competition ~ Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kuroshio TOKYO Japan (Tokyo), To-y (Saitama) & Kazuki Hirata (Tokyo) Vs Danshoku Dieno (Hiroshima), Shigehiro Irie (Osaka) & Mikiya Sasaki (Osaka)
4. East Vs West All-Out Competition ~ Special 8-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi (Hokkaido), Daisuke Sasaki (Tokyo), HARASHIMA (Tokyo) & Antonio Honda (Tokyo) Vs Yuki Ueno (Osaka), Hideki Okatani (Kochi), KANON (Ishikawa) & Kazuma Sumi (Mie)

This show is using geography to put together matches between the east and west of Japan. It results in a few strange bedfellows and in one case, a really bad idea. Putting KANON and Hideki Okatani on the same team is only going to cause trouble.

Rukiya will return after over a year of being on the shelf with a cervical sprain injury. He is treating his return as a way to restart from scratch in order to catch up to the rest of DDT’s young wrestlers.

DDT “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025 – DAY 1”, 30/08/2025
Tokyo Higashin Arena Main Arena

1. Hinata Kasai Debut Match: Hinata Kasai Vs X
2. Muscle Sakai 15th Anniversary Of Retirement Match ~ Special Single Match: Minoru Suzuki Vs Muscle Sakai
3. Dramatic Dream Tag Match: Zack Sabre Jr. & Kosei Fujita Vs Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada
4. KO-D Openweight Title: Kazusada Higuchi (c) Vs Jun Akiyama

The first KO-D Title defence of “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025” sees Kazusada Higuchi put the belt on the line against Jun Akiyama. The two have a history over the title. When Akiyama held the championship in 2021 he defeated Higuchi and ordered him to wrap the belt around his waist afterwards. But then when Higuchi won the title in 2022 Akiyama was there to wrap the belt around him to bring things around full circle.

When Zack Sabre Jr. wrestled a match in DDT last year he said he would likely return when he becomes the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion again. Looks like he lived up to his promise because he and Kosei Fujita are coming back for a tag match against their buddies Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada. Things are usually friendly between TMDK and SCHADENFREUDE International but wrestling being the way it is means something can always happen to add some heat to the match. Like mistreating Bunbun for example.

October 2010 was when Muscle Sakai retired from pro wrestling after facing Minoru Suzuki in what was supposed to be his final match. Of course pro wrestling retirements are worth dick so it didn’t take long for Sakai to return under the hood of Super Sasadango Machine. This year is the 15th anniversary of that match so it is a good time to revisit it. Sakai is going to face Minoru Suzuki again!

DDT’s newest rookie is the son of Jun Kasai! That’s right, Hinata Kasai is following in the foot steps of his dad although it is interesting to see DDT become his landing spot. Hinata’s dream is to surpass his father as a wrestler but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will do it through death matches.

DDT “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2025 – DAY 2”, 31/08/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. DDT Universal Title: Minoru Suzuki (c) Vs MAO
2. KO-D Openweight Title: Kazusada Higuchi (c) Vs Winner Of 16th July Battle Royal
3. Dramatic Dream Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi Vs Danshoku Dieno

Due to a misunderstanding over Hiroshi Tanahashi asking Sasadango to treat him to a meal sometime, the New Japan ace is coming back to DDT for a Dramatic Dream Match against Danshoku Dieno! Tanahashi is doing the rounds of Japan’s pro wrestling scene on his road to retirement. This match might be the one that’s the most unbelievable.

Either Higuchi or Akiyama will be defending the KO-D Title against the Battle Royal winner.

After defending the DDT Universal Title against Yoshihiko, Dieno and now Shinya Aoki it is time for Minoru Suzuki to face someone who is truly universal. MAO thinks it is time for him to hold the Universal Title once more and he has the momentum to beat Suzuki for it. The two have recently travelled together for some overseas bookings so Suzuki is actually looking forward to having MAO as his next big opponent.

You know I should have seen this coming. BASARA gets new management with Ryota Nakatsu and Takumi Tsukamoto becoming the two most powerful figures in charge. So when Nakatsu went looking for someone to challenge him for the Union MAX Title, Tsukamoto was standing right there until Nakatsu chose him as his next challenger.

The Iron Fist Tag Team Champions have made new enemies. Hyakusho Ikki thought Ayumu Honda wanted to join them but what he really wants is to take the tag titles from them! Honda already had it planned out because he had a tag partner chosen and everything. Kengo Mashimo is back in BASARA and wasted no time in starting a fight with Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA.

*Suzume becomes the 1,752nd champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Miu Watanabe defeated Suzume (c) with the Giant Swing (8:47 pm).
*Miu Watanabe becomes the 1,753rd champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Mizuki defeated Miu Watanabe (c) with the Whirling Candy (8:48 pm).
*Mizuki becomes the 1,754th champion.
7c. Shoko Nakajima defeated Yoshiko Hasegawa with the Diving Senton (21:44).

Although she was only officially part of Tokyo Joshi Pro for one year, Yoshiko Hasegawa touched many during her time there and was given a grand farewell for her graduation from pro wrestling. She was going to fight 27 other TJPW wrestlers for her retirement match! Just a few days earlier Hasegawa won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title so her last match also doubled up as a title defence. One by one she got to fight different opponents who all in their own way showed their thanks to her. Then somehow Tetsuya Koda got dragged into the ring by Rika Tatsumi. She choked and stomped on Koda so Hasegawa could then pin him with a Knee Drop. The pinfall counted and Hasegawa was rewarded with the first fall.

The match continued on as a Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls contest. Hasegawa was getting overwhelmed by the massive numbers disadvantage until Kaya Toribami suddenly came to her aid! She had teamed with Hasegawa when she won the Iron Man Title during the weekend and Yoppy told her it was as if they were sharing the belt with each other. That seemed to have stuck with Toribami and she helped Yoppy fight against Daisy Monkey. But while Toribami tried to hold back Arisu Endo, Hasegawa ended up taking the Ring A Bell from Suzume and was pinned to lose the second fall. Suzume was now the Iron Man Champion but Miu Watanabe quickly put her in the Giant Swing and pinned her down afterwards to take the belt from her. That title reign also only lasted for a few seconds because Mizuki did the Whirling Candy on Watanabe to pin her for the belt.

For the third and final fall Hasegawa had reached exhaustion so everyone on the other team let Shoko Nakajima fight her one on one. Hasegawa was able to get a nearfall with the Diving Double Knee Attack but Nakajima wore her down with Elbow Strikes before finishing her off with the Double Arm DDT and Diving Senton combo. After the match Nakajima talked about the times she went to go watch Ganbare☆Pro and Daisuke Kiso would always mix her up with Yoppy because they both look the same from behind. She also said Hasegawa has never been selfish and was always respectful to others, even to the most junior wrestlers like Ren Konatsu. Because Hasegawa chose to end her career with TJPW, Nakajima told her to live her life selfishly from now on.

Hasegawa said she is always reserved and polite with everyone because she is always scared of being disliked. But TJPW is not like that because everyone here is unique. That is why when she decided on her retirement she allowed herself to be very selfish. In return TJPW made her the most wonderful road to retirement and she is grateful for it. Her graduation ceremony then took place where she was given gifts by Toribami and HIMAWARI on behalf of TJPW. Then some comedians (Miku Aono among them) Hasegawa had worked with outside of wrestling congratulated her. After that several women from Actwres girl’Z posed with her for a group photo. There was also her friends from GanPro and other indies showing up like Riara, YuuRI, Banny Oikawa and Erina Yamanaka. Even her debut opponent Tsukasa Fujimoto made an appearance to be in the ring with her one last time. The final guest to stand with her was Teppei Arita who had been doing guest commentary for the show.

Yoppy closed out the show with a speech. She debuted in 2019 and a lot had happened to her over the last 6 years, like breaking her neck. But she is happy to be standing in the ring the way she is right now. She lost her Iron Man Title but has gained something even more important from TJPW. She promised to support the company as a fan from now on and hopes to see everyone again at the shows. She then received her ten bell salute and retirement call to end the show.

Daydream were without their sasumata poles today and apparently Kyoraku Kyomei are to blame. Before their 6-Woman Tag Match began Hyper Misao said that she and Nakajima got rid of the poles and they are able to beat Daydream without them. Daydream thought on the fly when everyone fought out of the ring up to the aisleway. Watanabe suddenly picked up Tatsumi over her shoulder and Tatsumi made herself into the shape of a human sasumata to be used as a weapon on their opponents! Back in the ring Yuki Aino gave Toga the Bulldog Headlock and Nakajima followed up with the Northern Lights Suplex to get the win.

Raku wanted to sleep in the middle of the ring during the 3 Way Match so Mahiro Kiryu and Shino Suzuki each tried to quietly pin her. She kicked out in her sleep so Kiryu then tried to Body Slam Suzuki on top of her. Raku rolled out of the way and then rolled back on top of Suzuki so Kiryu had to break the pin. She threw Raku’s pillow away and apologised to her because she looked so comfortable sleeping.

The final two spots in the Tokyo Princess Cup have been filled. Today’s qualification matches were the last in the preliminary league. Moka Miyamoto defeated Toribami to take one of the final places. She expected Toribami to be tough coming off of her recent title match with Nakajima and is feeling glad she won. Miyamoto has a lot to look forward to before the Cup begins, such as the Texas tour and her International Princess Title match at Ota Ward Gymnasium. Toribami doesn’t think she was beaten in technique or spirit. She wonders if she just got too excited today? That might also explain why she decided to help out Hasegawa during her retirement match because she wanted to see Yoppy win.

The other last spot goes to HIMAWARI although she had to get a taste of her own medicine to earn it. Pom Harajuku came down to the ring wearing large hair extensions to use as a weapon similar to how HIMAWARI whips opponents with her own hair. Harajuku tricked Fumirin into holding the hair so they could Clothesline HIMAWARI together. However HIMAWARI dodged the Pom de Justice and put Harajuku in the Half Crab Hold. It was right in the centre of the ring so Harajuku gave up. HIMAWARI was prepared for this match and is ready to become the woman of the summer! Harajuku said she put all of her energy into this match because she couldn’t wrestle Haruna Neko in the first round. By carrying Neko’s feelings with her it caused her hair to grow long! But she understands her hair became way too long so she is going to work hard just little by little from now on.

At the start of the show Hyper Misao announced there will be a repeat performance of “HYPE! 3” being held at Kitazawa Town Hall on 3rd August! She explained she wasn’t in perfect physical and mental condition for the show which led to her making decisions she would not have done under normal circumstances. Now she is back in perfect condition she wants to do the show again!

Sometime after the show ended, Mizuki was hanging out backstage with the Iron Man Title and also her trusty Pico Pico Hammer. Raku approached her and sang her to sleep with a lullaby in an attempt to win the belt. However Raku felt sleepy too and took a nap while the referee noticed the hammer resting on top of Mizuki’s sleeping body. He counted to three and declared the Pico Pico Hammer as the new champion! Then shortly after that Sanshiro Takagi found out what happened. He found the hammer, gave it the Stunner and pinned it to become the new champion.

The young trio of Daichi Sato, Yuni & Kazuma Sumi will be getting some tough matches at the Beer Garden this time around. Kazusada Higuchi is the common opponent on both teams facing them.

Where in the hell did Keisuke Ishii dig up Leatherface from?!? This match has a bit of W*ING flavour to it because we have a horror movie monster fighting a tag team of martial artists. Shuichiro Katsumura & Takuya Wada better use their preparation time getting to know the best way to disarm a chainsaw wielding maniac.

5. Ryuichi Sekine, FUMA & Ayumu Honda Vs Masato Kamino, Lil’ Kraken & Fuminori Abe

Last month Ayumu Honda joined forces with Hyakusho Ikki even though he didn’t really want to. Blame Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi for that. We’ll see how much of a united force they can be in a few days time.

GANBARE☆PRO “WILD AT HEART 2025”, 19/07/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Moeka Haruhi & Yuna Manase Vs Makoto & Chika

3. Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Masaaki Mochizuki & Ken Ohka
4. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Mizuki Watase & Shigehiro Irie (c) Vs Toru Sugiura & Munetatsu Nakamura

High hopes are fueling Toru Sugiura & Munetatsu Nakamura’s challenge for the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles. Nakamura would have gotten injured by Mizuki Watase last month if it wasn’t for Sugiura throwing in the towel. Watase gets needing to preserve yourself for the big title match but he and Shigehiro Irie want the challengers to not say die once the actual match takes place.

Bad tension is building up between YuuRI and Mio Shirai. Will it spill over into something worse when they have their singles match?

Chika is coming over from Pro Wrestling Evolution.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25”, 21/07/2025
Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

1. Andreza Giant Panda & Raku Vs Kyoko Inoue & Pom Harajuku
2. Special Tag Match: El Desperado & Maki Itoh Vs Chris Brookes & Emi Sakura
3. Special Single Match: Miyu Yamashita Vs Billie Starkz
4. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Moka Miyamoto
5. Princess Tag Team Titles: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe
6. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) Vs Yuki Arai

What’s the most chaotic pair of opponents you can find for Chris Brookes & Emi Sakura? How about El Desperado & Maki Itoh! The two originally met in America while working the same GCW show and have been tweeting back and forth for a while about teaming up. Now looks like the perfect time to make it happen. Itoh wants Desperado to learn the Itoh Respect Army dance for their entrance. He didn’t expect that to be part of the deal.

TJPW say a health issue is preventing Max The Impaler from participating at “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” so Pom Harajuku needs a new tag team partner. Luckily for her TJPW has decided to bring in Kyoko Inoue as the replacement! The joshi legend currently wrestles for Diana, a promotion that just so happened to join the UJPW recently so I wonder if that new connection helped put this deal together.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GARAFES DASH!! ~UENO KITEKITE DAI SAKUSEN~”, 26/07/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Miu Watanabe, Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami Vs Yuki Arai, Raku & Shino Suzuki

Yuki Arai will wrestle at a Garafes show for the first time.

BASARA “BASARA 285 ~CONTINUATION IS POWER~”, 03/08/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. GRACE PROJECT Sponsored Match: Toru Sugiura, Captain Grace, Shigehiro Irie & Daiki Shimomura Vs Tomoya Hirata, Mizuki Watase, Ultra Soki & HIROYA
2. Special Tag Match: Isami Kodaka & El Desperado Vs Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino
3. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) Vs X

A couple of weeks after Despy appears in TJPW he will then show up in BASARA to team with Isami Kodaka. The two of them were specifically put together for Aijin Tag to fight against.

The Grace Group bus company have their own independent wrestling promotion called GRACE PROJECT. They don’t really have their own roster, save for Captain Grace who is the man in charge of the whole thing. Instead their shows are filled with indie wrestlers from across Japan including those who compete in BASARA. So a lot of familiar faces are showing up in their offer match for the show.

SUPER JAPAN “SANSHIRO TAKAGI 30TH ANNIVERSARY PROJECT ~SUPER JAPAN PRO WRESTLING HATAAGE-SEN”, 19/08/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: Yasu Urano Vs Mikiya Sasaki
2. Special Single Match: TAKA Michinoku Vs MIKAMI
3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Brahman Yuji, Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei Vs Fuminori Abe, Takuya Nomura & Ippanjin Munenori Sawa

Looks like Sanshiro Takagi and The Brahman Brothers are going to get their way. For one night Yuji Nagata is going to become Brahman Yuji! That’s bad news for Astronauts and Munenori Sawa because Nagata does look like he has a good bowling arm.

What can I write about a Yasu Urano Vs Mikiya Sasaki match? Nothing much.

Kuroshio TOKYO Japan will also be on the show.

Shunma Tears His ACL Again, DDT Lineups For July, ZSJ At Wrestle Peter Pan

July 4, 2025

During the week Shunma Katsumata injured his knee during practice and was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. He will be out of action for a while. It is the same injury he suffered last November that kept him on the shelf until this past March so he is having rotten luck with his health lately. A lot of his matches for July were already booked so plenty of show lineups had to be changed around because of his injury.

The KO-D Champion and KO-D Tag Team Champions are teaming up together. Two of their opponents will be challenging for the tag titles soon but Soma Takao is sticking out like a sore thumb here.

5. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuki Ueno, Akito & Kaisei Takechi Vs Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul
6. DDT Universal Title: Minoru Suzuki (c) Vs Shinya Aoki
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Kazusada Higuchi (c) Vs HARASHIMA

The new champion Kazusada Higuchi instantly attracted one of the best wrestlers in DDT to challenge him for the title. HARASHIMA always wants to fight the strongest wrestlers and admires Higuchi for having the strength to climb back to the top of the mountain after returning from his injuries.

Akito will also be filling in for Katsumata on this show for the all important Kaisei Takechi match.

DAMNATION T.A are really ramping things up. Not only do they have Haruto Sakuraba coming back for his second wrestling match but now Masashi Takeda will be on his team! Ilusion may not even have to do much on the day other than be an annoying little shit to the opponents and that’s second nature to him at this point.

4. Beer Garden Specialty Customer Lottery 8-Man Tag Match: To-y, Yuki Ueno, MAO, Kazuki Hirata, Antonio Honda, Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku and Yuki Ishida

Ilusion’s behavior has gotten under someone’s skin for them to do something about it. Kumadori has had enough of Ilusion’s cheating and insults so he wants to deal with him one on one.

Just because Katsumata blew out his ACL again doesn’t mean he can’t compete in the KING OF DRUNK contest. He’s still taking part in it as far as I can tell.

5a. Rematch: Yuki Ishida & Kazuma Sumi defeated Shota & Kazuki Hirata when Sumi pinned Hirata with the School Boy (12:36).
6. Battle Royal: Kazuma Sumi defeated Takeshi Masada and To-y by Double Ring Out (6:18).
Order Of Elimination: Yuki Ishida, Yuya Koroku, Takeshi Masada & To-y.

Momentum is building up for D GENERATIONS in their feud with the Young Communication. What started out as a spur of the moment show to showcase DDT’s fresh blood is quickly starting to develop itself into a proper sub-brand. The D GENERATIONS group are in the middle of developing their own logo so they decided the winner of the main event Battle Royal would get their colour used for the final logo. Kazuma Sumi ended up winning by eliminating both Takeshi Masada & To-y at the same time. What happened was Masada and To-y were both knocked out of the ring but were caught by Yuki Ishida and Yuya Koroku without touching the floor. Sumi then did a Topé Suicida to knock them all down. Since he went throuh the rope instead of over it, that meant he didn’t eliminate himself so he won the match! The logo will now be in his colour which is yellow because that colour represents happiness. He thinks it will be a suitable colour for the logo that will liven up D GENERATIONS while he makes it even more exciting.

The home side were braced for danger when Shota warned he would be bringing along a secret weapon for this show but it just turned out to be Kazuki Hirata. He was quickly pinned by Sumi and didn’t realized until afterwards what his role as Secret Weapon X was meant to be so he demanded a restart. He & Shota put up a bigger fight this time but Sumi & Ishida were still able to beat them a second time. Hirata praised his younger opponents for being so strong. He claims to have nothing left to teach them so he wishes them luck in surpassing the Young Communication. Shota was annoyed that Hirata kept forgetting who the enemy was and promised to bring a proper Secret Weapon X next time.

At this point it looks like the Young Generation are bring propped up by Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie. They proved to still be to high a wall for D GENERATIONS to climb over after they defeated To-y & Koroku.

It’s not exactly the go home show for “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’25” because Yoshiko Hasegawa’s graduation and the Texas tour will both be happening between now and then. But this show is getting the champions versus challengers multi-woman tag match.

Speaking of Hasegawa’s graduation, her good buddy Riara is showing up to face her inside a Tokyo Joshi Pro ring.

The winners of Wakana Uehara versus Shino Suzuki and Haru Kazashiro versus Ivy Steele will qualify for the Tokyo Princess Cup.

Maki Itoh will be missing the show due to a scheduling conflict. It is not wrestling related, I believe she is appearing at a LinQ concert that day because a member of that group is graduating.

Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: TAKA Michinoku Vs MIKAMI

Plans have changed and Sanshiro Takagi has decided to rebrand his 30th Anniversary spin-off brand. Gone is MatchMake & Agent Pro Wrestling and taking its place is Super Japan Pro Wrestling! Takagi wants to imagine what it would be like if the wrestling promotion he helped form in 1997 was named Super Japan instead of Dramatic Dream Team. Part of that vision is getting one of DDT’s other founders MIKAMI to take part in the debut show. He will face the similarly aged TAKA Michinoku in what might be Super Japan’s inaugural match.

Also announced for the show are Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, The Brahman Brothers, Fuminori Abe and Ippanjin Munenori Sawa. Takagi and The Brahmans all want Yuji Nagata to be on the show but he keeps turning them down.
