1. Choun-Shiryu defeated Darkunesu K with the Chinese Bombs Away (7:35).
2. Hiroshi Yamato defeated Kikutaro with a School Boy (6:54).
3. Tetsuya Endo defeated Leo Isaka with the Shooting Star Press (12:15).
4. Shigehiro Irie & Daiki Shimomura defeated Soma Takao & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Shimomura pinned Shimatani with an Inside Cradle (14:35).
5. Mad Paulie’s Five Years And A Few Months After His Birth Anniversary Match: Kohei Sato, Yuji Hino & Mad Paulie defeated Kengo Mashimo, Masashi Takeda & Keizo Matsuda when Paulie pinned Matsuda with the Reverse Splash (16:36).
6. MONDAY NIGHT WAR: Minoru Fujita defeated Daisuke Sasaki with the Modified Tombstone Piledriver (24:32).

A first time singles match turned out to be no fun and games at all. Minoru Fujita walked out fully representing his Fujita Pro Wrestling☆School and also had the Super Asia Title from Gatoh Move. Meanwhile Daisuke Sasaki came out still carrying the stolen DDT Universal Title. The atmosphere quickly turned sour when Sasaki ignored Fujita’s offer for a handshake. A furious Fujita then said he would kill Sasaki and went to poke his eyes out. Sasaki fought back by biting his fingers. The struggle and dirty fighting continued throughout and Sasaki became motivated enough to wrestle with his shirt off. He used Yukinori Matsui as a shield at one point but Fujita cut him off on top of the turnbuckles. From there Fujita hit an Avalanche Tombstone for a nearfall. He hit another Tombstone as a counter to La Mistica for another two count. Fujita had to do the Somato and then the “Sayonara” version of the Tombstone to finally put Sasaki down for the three count.

Fujita called his victory over Sasaki a miracle. It is a win he will talk about for the rest of his life. He will carry the achievement with him until his retirement, which will happened somewhere between 4 to 50 years from now. Sasaki complained about Fujita ruining the show. Sasaki was supposed to beat him but he was too strong. Sasaki promised to get stronger and win in the rematch. Fujita then cut him off and said they will never wrestle each other again. Sasaki accepted that and asked to be a teacher in the Fujita Pro Wrestling☆School instead. He then told the fans today was supposed to be Sasaki beating Fujita on the road to winning the Universal Title from Yuki Ueno and then he couldn’t be called a thief anymore. At least the audience had more fun here than at the Olympics today so that cheered him up a little.

Mad Paulie got some spotlight by winning his 5th Anniversary match. He was asked to comment backstage and simply grunted “Arigatou!”

Match #4 was a double reunion of sorts. Soma Takao and Shigehiro Irie were both in the Team Dream Futures stable. Daiki Shimomura & Nobuhiro Shimatani used to team together as Gran MilliMeters in DNA. Shimatani took the fall against his former partner but declared today is the beginning of Chapter 3 of his life as a freelancer. Sasaki asked what happened to Chapter 2 and Nobu told him it already came and went.

Tetsuya Endo had wanted to face Leo Isaka for a while now but DDT were never able to put it together. Endo had to take things into his own hands and book the match at a DAMNATION show like this one. Isaka does the Shooting Star Press because he first saw Endo do the move. He got the chance to use it here but Endo dodged it and later hit his version to win. When Sasaki found out Isaka is like a 22 year old version of Endo, he thought about bringing him in as a replacement. He’ll fire Endo when he turns 30 next month and bring in Isaka to be the new Endo.

There were plenty of antics when Hiroshi Yamato fought Kikutaro. A lot of them had Matsui involuntarily involved. During a mix up, Kikutaro tried pinning Matsui with a Small Package. When nothing happened, Yamato rolled Kikutaro over with a School Boy to get the win.

The risk of darkness surrounding the world has been averted for now. At least it is here, I mean. Choun-Shiryu defeated Darkunesu K with the aid of a cone bar. The evil version of Keigo Nakamura was a bit of a nuisance but nothing that Shiryu couldn’t handle in the end.

Isami Anniversary Match, Takanashi’s Show Pushed Back To September

1. Yusuke Kubo Vs Takato Nakano
2. Daichi Kazato Vs Masato Kamino
3. FUMA Vs Yasu Urano
4. Takumi Tsukamoto, Fuminori Abe & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Ryota Nakatsu, SAGAT & Akiyori Takizawa
5. Isami Kodaka 19th Anniversary Match: Isami Kodaka Vs Daiki Shimomura

Former IRON FIST Tag Champions collide to celebrate Isami Kodaka’s 19th anniversary in wrestling. Daiki Shimomura has learned a lot from teaming with Kodaka the last couple of years. Now it’s time to put him to the test.

Takumi Tsukamoto is now a triple crown champion! He won the CCW Canadian Heavyweight Title from Kohei Kinoshita at a TTT show over the weekend, making him a champion in three promotions now. How a championship that vanished from the Canadian indies a few years ago ended up being revived in Japan, I have no idea.

The same TTT show saw Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari & Shota lose to Guts Ishijima & Speed Of Sounds in a GWC 6-Man Tag Team Titles match. That was Ganbare☆Pro’s last chance to take the titles away from Ishijima again so that looks to be the end of that championship in Ganpro.

??? Fans – Withheld

1. Takato Nakano defeated Kosuke Sato with a Cradle (9:21).
2. Jacket Match: Ryota Nakatsu & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga ended in a No Contest when everyone attacked the referee (R3 1:08). (Special Referee: Gouma)
3. Takumi Tsukamoto, Yasu Urano & Masato Kamino defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & Daichi Kazato when Tsukamoto pinned Kubo with the Zudon (12:49).
4. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura defeated Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura (c) when Abe submitted Shimomura with the Manjigatame (16:08).
*Sento Minzoku fails in V4. Astronauts become the 4th IRON FIST Tag Champions!
5. ReOStaff Presents Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ – Final: Minoru Fujita defeated SAGAT with the Modified Tombstone Piledriver (20:17).

Minoru Fujita wins the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ and pockets 500,000 yen in prize money. He joked about feeling sorry for the sponsors financing the tournament because their money ended up going to a freelancer instead of a full time BASARA wrestler. Fujita has ideas on what to use the money for but he can’t say what it is yet. Instead he wants to focus on the next mountain to climb and that is the Union MAX Championship! He challenged Takumi Tsukamoto to a title match on 27th July. Today, Fujita stands on top of BASARA and he told the rest of the roster they still have a lot of training to do.

Astronauts are now double champions in BASARA and Big Japan! For Sento Minzoku, victory was so close for them today. Daiki Shimomura capitalized on a blown double team spot from Astronauts and hit Fuminori Abe with an Asai DDT. However Abe blocked the Swanton Bomb with his knees and put Shimomura in the Manjigatame. Takuya Nomura held Isami Kodaka back until Shimomura finally gave up. Abe said he wants Astronauts to be the tag team that best represents the pro wrestling world. Their success is also making them stronger individually and Nomura has a chance to become a triple champion later this month when he challenges for the BJW Strong World Title.

The Jacket tag match ended up in chaos when all four wrestlers involved all fought in the ring together. Gouma tried to keep things under control but kept getting caught in crossfire after crossfire. He eventually gave up and called off the match much to everyone’s anger. They convinced him to restart the match but chaos broke out a second time and he cancelled the match again. Gouma declared himself the winner and the other wrestlers attacked him in retaliation.

1. Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ – Round 2A: Minoru Fujita Vs Daiki Shimomura

Only one Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ match is happening on this show because Fuminori Abe Vs Takuya Nomura ended in a time limit draw, eliminating both of them from the tournament. Yasu Urano receives a bye straight to the semi-finals because of this. Daiki Shimomura is coming off of the biggest upset in Round 1, beating two time Itadaki winner Ryota Nakatsu. However that was under 2 Count Rules. Can he do the same against the veteran Minoru Fujita under the normal ruleset?

11. GHC Heavyweight Title – Triple Main Event III: Keiji Muto (c) Vs Naomichi Marufuji

The contracts have been signed for the three championship matches. The match order was decided by measuring the career achievements of the three current champions. That means the GHC Heavyweight Title match will be the last match on the show, the KO-D Openweight Title match will be before the GHC match and the Princess Of Princess Title match will be before the KO-D match.

Super Sasadango Machine tried to invade the NOAH show at Korakuen Hall on Saturday to negotiate who he will fight at Saitama Super Arena. Unfortunately he doesn’t understand how wrestlers are able to crash other companies and couldn’t get past the entrance because he had no ticket for the show.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “ADDITIONAL ATTACK”, 17/06/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. International Princess Title: Hikari Noa (c) Vs Marika Kobashi
2. Princess Tag Team Titles: Sakisama & Mei Saint-Michel (c) Vs Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh

Maki Itoh has a grand vision for 121000000. She wants herself and Miyu Yamashita to hold all the championships in Tokyo Joshi Pro. Yamashita can have the Princess Title, Itoh can get back the International Princess Title and they will also take one Princess Tag Team Title belt each. Now comes the tough job, beating NEO Biishiki-gun. They did it once before in February but NEO Biishiki-gun got their win back in the Max Heart Tournament final a month later. Time for the rubber match!

Now 20 years old, Marika Kobashi is challenging for her first singles title to prove she has grown up. There is some jealousy behind the move because she didn’t like seeing Hikari Noa win the IP Title before she did.

April 20, 2021

BASARA “BASARA 155 ~GLITTER~”, 20/04/2021
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Withheld

1. Minoru Fujita, Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated Yusuke Kubo, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato when Fujita pinned Kazato with the Tombstone Piledriver (11:50).
2. 3 Way Match: Daisuke Kamibayashi defeated Fuminori Abe, Gouma and Yasu Urano when Kamibayashi pinned Gouma with a Standing Moonsault (7:51).
3. FUMA defeated Takato Nakano with a Cross Armbreaker (11:19).
4. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura (c) Vs Ryota Nakatsu & SAGAT ended in a Time Limit Draw (30:00).
*V3 for Sento Minzoku.
5. Union MAX Title: Takumi Tsukamoto (c) defeated Masato Kamino with the Dragon Kicker (15:11).
*V5 for Takumi Tsukamoto.

Takumi Tsukamoto called Masato Kamino an insanely strong opponent. He fought off his Lariats, avoided being thrown with the Verdict and used a Dragon Kicker to get the win. His next goal is to win the Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ as the reigning Union MAX Champion. Then he can nominated his next challenger.

The time expired in the IRON FIST Tag Titles match right after Ryota Nakatsu gave Isami Kodaka the V Slider. Daiki Shimomura took himself out when he missed a Swanton Bomb while SAGAT was there to break the count when Kodaka had Nakatsu beaten with a Brainbuster. Kodaka got a nearfall with the Diving Double Knee Drop but Nakatsu got back into it with a High Kick, a German Suplex and then the V Slider when time ran out. Nakatsu spoke of his regret to tag in SAGAT to finish the job while SAGAT thinks they would have won if they hit the Big Mac.

Gouma got permission to change the rules to the 3 Way Match. Only two wrestlers were allowed to fight in the ring at one time. The odd man out had to wait on the apron and be tagged in to enter the match. At one point Gouma had Fuminori Abe pinned in La Magistral Cradle but Abe grabbed referee Daisuke Kamibayashi’s hand to stop him from counting three. Under the new rules that counted as a tag and Kamibayashi had to wrestle Gouma. Yasu Urano hit Gouma with a Lariat but fell out of the ring when Kamibayashi lowered the ropes. Kamibayashi then pinned Gouma with a Standing Moonsault and Abe performed the three count to award him the win.

The 2021 Heaven Summit ~Itadaki~ tournament will be held from 18th May to 7th July. This year’s tournament is back to being BASARA only after last year’s edition was co-promoted with Dove Pro.

The 5th May show in Itabashi Green Hall will celebrate Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi’s 10th Anniversary in pro wrestling.

Today is the beginning of a trial period where BASARA is allowing its fans to cheer and make noise during the show, as long as they still wear their protective masks over their mouths and noses.

After yesterday’s event we now have Smile Pissari as the KO-D Tag Team Champions and they already have a title defence lined up. Yuji Okabayashi’s schedule is a busy one and his next free date to appear on DDT is next Sunday. The title match is happening because Jun Akiyama wanted a shot in return for giving HARASHIMA the next KO-D Openweight Title shot. Makoto Oishi has been moved out of the opener to be in the main event.

BASARA “BASARA 155 ~GLITTER~”, 20/04/2021
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura (c) Vs Ryota Nakatsu & SAGAT
2. Union MAX Title: Takumi Tsukamoto (c) Vs Masato Kamino

Takumi Tsukamoto has been slipping a bit with Masato Kamino pinning him on the last show. Kamino’s use of the Lariat is giving him win after win, enough to grant him a Union MAX Title shot.

The Sparky pair of Ryota Nakatsu & SAGAT have been pretty successful and gotten even better with their new tag team finishing move. The Big Mac where Nakatsu (plus another if it is a trios match) jumps onto SAGAT’s back and they all splash down onto the victim. That will give Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura plenty to chew on when the IRON FIST Tag Titles are on the line.

BAKUHA KOSHIEN “BAKUHA KOSHIEN 2021 SPRING”, 02/05/2021
Kanagawa Tsurumi Fruit & Vegetable Market

1. Bakuha Koshien Spring Tag Tournament – Round 1: X & X Vs X & X
2. Bakuha Koshien Spring Tag Tournament – Round 1: X & X Vs X & X
3. Bakuha Koshien Spring Tag Tournament – Final – Current Blast Death Match: X & X Vs X & X

The last slot in the Spring Tag Tournament has been spilled. Atsushi Onita demanded Kuro-chan & Super Sasadango Machine to enter the tournament so he can settle his grudge from last December with them. Sasadango is entering the tournament but he found a better “Kuro-chan” to team with. One that Onita has a lot of history with. His partner is Tetsuhiro Kuroda!

DDT “MAX BUMP 2021”, 04/05/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles: Sanshiro Takagi, Yukio Naya, Chikara & Nabe Yakan (c) Vs X, X, X & X
2. DDT Extreme Title & Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Chris Brookes (E/c) Vs Saki Akai (I/c)
3. DDT UNIVERSAL Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Soma Takao

A double title match is added. At least it is supposed to be one. If Saki Akai ends up losing the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title before the show then it will just be the DDT Extreme Title on the line so she is in the match no matter what. Chris Brookes promises to come up with a strange match type for them to fight in.

Team Thoroughbred achieved their goal of winning the KO-D 8-Man Tag Team Titles. Now they have to defend them.

DDT “ULTIMATE TAG LEAGUE 2021 IN KORAKUEN HALL!!”, 09/05/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Naomi Yoshimura Return Match: Naomi Yoshimura Vs X
2. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Jun Akiyama & Makoto Oishi Vs Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda
3. Ultimate Tag League 2021: Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata Vs Daisuke Sasaki & Yuji Hino

It will be half a year since Naomi Yoshimura’s last match when he returns to action. Yoshimura took time off to recover from cervical injuries after wrestling with back pain for around a year. He asked for Yuki Ueno to be his opponent and it is under consideration.

DDT/NOAH/TOKYO JOSHI PRO/GANBARE☆PRO “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2021”, 06/06/2021
Saitama Super Arena

1. DDT Vs NOAH Battle: Yuki Iino, Keigo Nakamura & Toui Kojima Vs Junta Miyawaki, Kinya Okada & Yasutaka Yano
2. DDT Vs NOAH Battle: Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno Vs Kaito Kiyomiya & Yoshiki Inamura
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Rika Tatsumi (c) Vs X
4. GHC Heavyweight Title: Keiji Muto (c) Vs X
5. KO-D Openweight Title: Jun Akiyama (c) Vs HARASHIMA

Akiyama took down one icon of DDT when he beat Danshoku Dieno. Now he is aiming to take down another. HARASHIMA has been the backbone of DDT more than any other wrestler who stepped foot in the company.

BASARA “BASARA 152 ~GLITTER~” Results

March 23, 2021

BASARA “BASARA 152 ~GLITTER~”, 23/03/2021
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Withheld

1. Ryota Nakatsu, SAGAT & Akiyori Takizawa defeated Takato Nakano, Masato Kamino & Yasu Urano when SAGAT pinned Nakano after the Big Mac (11:16).
2. BASARA Official Rules Double Jacket Bout: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga defeated Fuminori Abe & Gouma when Oosugi submitted Gouma with a Reverse Cross Armbreaker (R4 0:24).
3. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura (c) defeated FUMA & Yusuke Kubo when Shimomura pinned Kubo with the Orange Sunset (19:13).
*V2 for Sento Minzoku.
4. Union MAX Title: Takumi Tsukamoto (c) defeated Daichi Kazato with a Crab Hold (14:30).
*V4 for Takumi Tsukamoto.
5. Bonus Track – Final Trans-Am: The ★ Trans-Am defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the Perfect 5 (8:09).

Today BASARA bid farewell to The ★ Trans-Am (aka Trans-Am ★ Ji, aka Trans-Am ★ Ryuji, aka Trans-Am ★ Ryuichi, aka Ryuichi Kawakami). He is going back to America but his future lies elsewhere, some place GLEAT so I hear. For his final BASARA match, his opponent Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi appeared in his classic pre-yoga costume wearing a blonde wig to match the hairstyle he had at that time. The wig was accidentally pulled off during the match and Hiroshi reacted to it by reverting to his current yoga persona. The BASARA roster took part in the farewell ceremony for Ryuji after the match.

Takumi Tsukamoto is handling the double champion role well. He now has 4 Union MAX Title defences to his name, the latest coming from a submission win over Daichi Kazato. He said winning this match gave him a lot of confidence. Nobody came out to challenge him afterwards which he thinks is a good thing. It shows he has become so strong that everyone might now be scared of him!

Isami Kodaka wants to give Daiki Shimomura all of the credit for their successful IRON FIST Tag Titles defence against IRON PRIEST. According to Kodaka, he couldn’t get his engine running until late the very end of the match. But he isn’t going to dwell on that. Instead, Kodaka wants to defend the BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title on a BASARA show next month. He needs Big Japan’s permission first but hopes they will let him do a title match on 10th April.

What are the full rules for the Jacket Match? According to Gouma, nobody knows! It was made even more confusing when applied to a tag team match. Speed Of Sounds were able to beat Gouma & Fuminori Abe fair and square but the two sides kept fighting after it ended.
