*Yuni becomes the 1,470th champion.

Yuni had an eventful day. Soon he will transition from a wrestling child into proper pro wrestling training. The first of his “graduation” matches took place today where he teamed with Nautilus in the main event. Together the trio were named the OSAKA Mirai Monsters. Yuni got stretched a bit by Konosuke Takeshita but the kid got his own back by Double Stomping on his fingers. Takeshita countered a Hurricanrana into the Walls Of Takeshita but Yuni was saved by Yuki Ueno. Yuni then hit Makoto Oishi with the Kamigoye before tagging out. Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura worked on Oishi while Yuni hit a Diving Foot Stomp on Shunma Katsumata. Ueno finished off Oishi with a Blizzard Suplex followed by a Diving Body Press. After the match Nautilus encouraged Yuni to get stronger and hinted that they know who Yuni’s mystery opponent is for one of his two matches tomorrow.

At the end of the show Yuni there was several Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title changes with Yuni ending up as the current champion.

The DDT Extreme Title match was held under KOK (Kawaii Of Kawaii) Rules. Pinfalls would only be counted if the wrestler did a cute pose during the pin. It was up to Yukinori Matsui to determine if the pose was cute or not. The task was easy for Pokotan. Anything the mascot did looked cute so Matsui counted every pin. HARASHIMA on the other hand couldn’t rely on just his handsome smile, he had to do bunny ears and smoochy faces along with it. Pokotan hit a No Rope Topé to the outside then got Danshoku Dieno to scribble marker on HARASHIMA’s face to get rid of his handsome looks. HARASHIMA hit a Shining Wizard, removing Pokotan’s head in the process. Dieno interfered again when HARASHIMA got pushed into Matsui. He attacked HARASHIMA with Pokotan’s head, did the Danshoku Driver and then Pokotan followed up with his own version of the Somato. Matsui got back up but didn’t count the pin because Pokotan’s robot face was exposed. That’s not cute! Pokotan got its head back on but that gave HARASHIMA time to recover and hit the proper Somato. Matsui wouldn’t count the pin because of the marker on HARASHIMA’s face. The solution was to put on Pokotan’s head. Matsui was happy to count from then on.

The first Iron Man Title switch of the day happened when Rina Yamashita beat Saki Akai. The two fought outside the ring and up to the entrance stage. Back in the ring Akai applied a Triangle Choke and still held on to it after Yamashita lifted her up into a Power Bomb. She went for the Quetzalcoatl but Yamashita countered it into a Back Flip. She then used a Lariat to set Akai up for the match ending Splash Mountain. Yamashita doesn’t know why Akai chose her to be in the Okibariyasu series but today she found out they are in sync together. Also she won her first title since becoming a freelancer. She wished Akai the best of luck for the rest of her series.

Mad Paulie got to wear the Hirata GO! glasses and dance after his match.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga’s plan to win today was to throw Akito into another room and lock him out. It didn’t work.

The business relationship between DAMNATION and #STRONGHEARTS is off to a strong start with a win over ALL OUT. That was the easy part, the hard part is trying to come up with a name for this alliance. Strong Damhearnation? Dastrongheartion? They don’t know!

Nautilus showed respect to Kazuki Hirata after the KO-D Tag Team Titles match. They are all part of DISASTER BOX so the match never got ill tempered. Although at the end of the match Yuki Ueno decided the throw Hirata out of the ring as a prank. Yuki Iino then attacked Naomi Yoshimura at ringside. Iino will be the next challenger for the KO-D Tag Titles with Chihiro Hashimoto.

Keisuke Ishii still wants to offer his assistance to Hirata despite their short lived tag team ending. He found out that Naomichi Marufuji still does not know who Hirata is even though he joined DISASTER BOX two days ago. Ishii promised to make sure Marufuji will remember Hirata from now on.

The NωA must feel like it happened an eternity ago for Makoto Oishi & MAO. It took some tricky mat work that MAO learned from the UK to beat his former idol mentor. He countered the European Clutch into a Backslide Pin with a headstand included for leverage. MAO explained afterwards the he learned the art of pinning opponents from training at the Fight Club: PRO dojo during his stay there. It was confirmed at the start of the show that MAO will face the winner of HARASHIMA Vs Masato Tanaka for the KO-D Openweight Title on 23rd February.

Chris Brookes made it clear he wants to become the first DDT Universal Champion when he comes back for his year long stay in Japan.

Gorgeous Matsuno’s gameplan today was to attack Danshoku Dieno’s arm. Makes sense given how much of a grabby person Dieno is. The work paid off when Matsuno countered the Danshoku Driver and pinned his opponent with La Magistral Cradle. He asked Dieno if his life fell to the bottom at the age of 42. Because Matsuno has fallen and crawled back up many times in life. If Dieno wants to try and take the O-40 Title again, Matsuno will be waiting for him. Dieno never thought he would be beaten so decisively against Matsuno. He still has a specific goal to achieve in wrestling but now he’s thinking he may have to win the O-40 Title from Matsuno to get there.

Today was Yukio Naya’s first match back after having a high fever last week. Both Mad Paulie & El Lindaman are convinced he had the flu and were concerned that Naya was going to spread his germs to them. They came out wearing protective face masks and also a disinfectant spray. Lindaman ended up blinding Naya with the spray behind the ref’s back and gave him a Low Blow for the dirty victory.

Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi still want to have fun while they threaten to change the landscape of DDT. They forced Hiroshi Yamato & Keigo Nakamura to pose with them over at the fan photo display after their match.

Shunma Katsumata confirmed the news he will be taking a few weeks off for surgery to remove a metal place from his cheek. He will return in February.

The Right To Challenge Anytime Anywhere Battle Royal returns on 26th January. The reason it the match is happening early this year is because the prizes will be active up until “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2020” in June.

The Princess Of Princess Title and Princess Tag Team Titles currently have no challengers on the horizon. Maybe Yuna Manase, Mina Shirakawa or Mirai Maiumi can stake a claim if they can beat one of those champions in the 6-Woman Tag.

Hyper Misao has to change her ring name for a month after she lost to Shoko Nakajima today. Misao’s new name as decided by Nakajima will be revealed before her match tomorrow.

7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 Special 4 Way Match: Konosuke Takeshita defeated HARASHIMA, Daisuke Sasaki and Chris Brookes when Takeshita pinned Brookes with the German Suplex (11:53).
8. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – Final: Masato Tanaka defeated Tetsuya Endo with the Sliding D (23:57).

The tournament master Masato Tanaka becomes the first person to win the D-Ou Grand Prix while undefeated! He didn’t take Tetsuya Endo lightly in the final. He went for the Sliding D at the very first opportunity. Endo dodged it and in return tried to trap Tanaka in the Modified Yurikamome Hold. Tanaka put Endo through a table outside the ring with a Diving Body Press, which ended up leaving a big gash in Endo’s leg. To add insult to the injury, Tanaka then attacked Endo with pieces of the table and also the DAMNATION signboard. Endo’s comebacks would get cut off by Elbow Smashes until he countered the Tornado DDT into a Brainbuster. Tanaka cut him off again with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster. Endo countered the Diamond Dust into a German Suplex but Tanaka once more stopped his momentum with a Lariat. The match went even when Tanaka blocked the Shooting Star Press then Endo blocked the Superfly afterwards. When they got up Endo hit a Canadian Destroyer only for Tanaka to immediately fire back with a short range Sliding D. Endo finally got his momentum going with the Tetsuya In The Sky, the Swinging Torture Rack Bomb and the Shooting Star Press. Tanaka was able to kick out at two. Endo quickly applied the Yurikamome Hold but Tanaka cradled him for a nearfall. Endo changed it into the Crossface Lock but Tanaka got out of it by biting Endo’s hand. Tanaka stunned Endo with a Backfist then hit several Sliding D’s, finally keeping Endo down for the three count.

After the match Tanaka said fighting against Endo and DAMNATION was interesting. Tanaka has been wrestling for 26 years and is still in his prime. He has to show that in the ring when he faces off against younger wrestlers. Still, he thanked Endo for the match. HARASHIMA entered the ring during the trophy ceremony. He congratulated Tanaka for winning the Grand Prix then told him they will have a KO-D Openweight Title match on 26th January. He promised him a rematch after their 30 minute draw in the group stage so now they get to have one with higher stakes. Tanaka called HARASHIMA the No. 1 wrestler in DDT. Even though Tanaka won today’s main event, he gave the show closing speech to HARASHIMA.

When HARASHIMA finished his speech, Pokotan came out and confronted him to promote their DDT Extreme Title match on 12th January.

Some of the wrestlers who missed out on reaching the final were pitted together in a 4 Way Match. HARASHIMA wanted it to start off peacefully but it went mayhem when Konosuke Takeshita and Chris Brookes both attacked him. Daisuke Sasaki tried to sneak a pin on HARASHIMA afterwards but Takeshita and Brookes then attacked him. Brookes broke off his short alliance with Takeshita and the match was all against each other from that point on. Sasaki put Takeshita in La Mistica Cross Facelock, HARASHIMA broke it up with the Somato then Brookes caught HARASHIMA in mid-air with a Cutter. Takeshita gave HARASHIMA and Sasaki a German Suplex at the same time, emptying the ring down to just him and Brookes. Brookes put Takeshita in an Octopus Hold then tried to pin him with a European Clutch but Takeshita rolled him into the German Suplex to take the win. This result is considered as payback for Brookes beating Takeshita in the group stage.

A reinvigorated and fully recovered Kazusada Higuchi was victorious in his return match. He wasn’t lying when he said he lost wait during his time off, the audience was impressed by his improved physique. Both he and Yukio Sakaguchi came out to brand new theme songs. Sakaguchi struck Bull James with the God’s Right Knee, allowing Higuchi to pin Yukio Naya with the Doctor Bomb. Backstage Higuchi said he’s been watching DDT while he was recovering from his injury and it just wasn’t the same. Sakaguchi agreed. They want to make DDT fun and rampant so Higuchi and Sakaguchi are going to stir up DDT together!

Super Sasadango Machine wanted to make sure his win over Shinya Aoki last month wasn’t a fluke. To ensure the result would be undisputed their match today would consist of two stages. Stage 1 is the Pro Wrestling Stage, a regular pro wrestling match. When that is over they would then move on to the Oogiri Stage, a comedy quiz where judges Yuki Iino, Mizuki Watase and Yumehito Imanari choose who gave the best answer. The winner of the match is the first person to either win both stages back-to-back or win the Oogriri Stage 3 times. The match began and Aoki immediately made Sasadango submit to the Sleeper Hold. The Oogiri question asked for their dream match for a New Year’s Eve MMA show. Sasadango said Tatsuya Kawajiri Vs Erika Sawajiri in an MMA Vs MDMA fight (Sawajiri is an actress who was recently arrested over drug possession). Aoki chose Takeru Vs Tenshin Nasukawa. Sasadango won the judge’s vote. The match began again and Sasadango immediately gave up to a handshake. The Oogiri question asked to name the sequel for Aoki’s book “Strong Instinct”. Sasadango said “Grand Maison Instinct” while Aoki picked “Daddy”. Aoki got some laughs but Sasadango still won the judge’s decision. Aoki tapped out Sasadango once more with a Cross Armbreaker. The Oogiri question asked for a phrase that will be used as a warning in 2020. Sasadango’s arm was so damaged from the Cross Armbreaker that he couldn’t write a decent answer, so he went with “Safety First”. Aoki answered with “Director Ishii” referring to the disgraced K-1 director Kazuyoshi Ishii. Aoki unanimously won the judge’s decision and was declared the winner of the match.

The freelance Nobuhiro Shimatani was back in DDT to do what he does best. Run around with the DAMNATION signboard! What he isn’t good at is being used as a projectile. Soma Takao tried to Body Slam him onto their opponents in the 3 Way Match but they kept rolling out of the way. Shimatani did get a few whacks in on Akito & Shunma Katsumata with his signboard until he accidentally hit Takao with it. From there Yuki Ueno & Naomi Yoshimura double teamed on Shimatani and finished him off with the Osaka Strad. Nautilus are now ready to challenge for the KO-D Tag Team Titles on 3rd January. They are also taking over the Drop Kick Bar from Akito in the new year.

One of the goals for Saki Akai’s “Okibariyasu” series is to bring in joshi and let them experience what DDT is like. In the case of Sakura Hirota this turned out to be the most DDT match in a long time. First Hirota came out dressed as Akai and mimicking her entrance. Then we found out her children were at ringside where there was a special play area built for them to stay in. Also Antonio Honda was babysitting them. The situation was so distracting that Yukinori Matsui missed some pinfalls. Hirota used Kancho attacks to get the advantage until Honda called for an emergency because one of the kids soiled their diaper. Akai, Hirota and Matsui all agreed to speed up the match with cradles and quick pin counts. Hirota attempted to do the Quetzalcoatl but couldn’t apply it properly. The result was only her flipping onto her back empty handed. Akai gave Hirota a Kancho poke then pinned her with the Rookie Award. It was announced afterwards that Akai’s third opponent in her series will be against Rina Yamashita on 12th January.

Fatherhood is taking it’s toll on Makoto Oishi. So much so that he decided today’s One Count Gauntlet Match would be his last match. He informed all of his opponents backstage before their match and everyone agreed to give him their best. The results went back and forth. Oishi pinned Danshoku Dieno with a Cradled counter to the Danshoku Driver. Hiroshi Yamato pinned Oishi with the Sliding X. Oishi went 2-1 when he caught Mizuki Watase with a Running Forearm. Mad Paulie flattened Oishi with the Lou Thesz Press. Antonio Honda went for his old Gongitsune trick but Oishi saw it coming and cradled him to make it 3-2. Masahiro Takanashi countered the Jikiden Tornado Clutch into a Crucifix Pin to even the score. Kazuki Hirata turned the match into a dance until he overdone the Tegatana strikes to Oishi’s neck. When Toru Owashi entered the match Oishi was still knocked out from the attack. Owashi pleaded with him to get back up but Oishi wouldn’t move. Oishi placed his hand on Oishi’s chest and didn’t realise it counted as a pin. Oishi’s final opponent was Yoshihiko. Oishi fought with all he had left, using all his strength to get a rope break from a Scorpion Deathlock. Yoshihiko was thrown into the air for the Reincarnation but Oishi rolled it into a pin to end the match with a win. All the wrestlers begged with him to reconsider his decision. Oishi then revealed it was all a misunderstanding. Today was his final match… in 2019. He wanted everyone to do their best today because it was the final DDT show of 2019. He’s not retiring. Who said that? Oishi loves pro wrestling and he wants his newborn daughter to grow up and watch him wrestle.

Rivals turning into teammates seems to happen a lot in wrestling nowadays. It happened here with Yuki Iino and Chihiro Hashimoto joining forces to take on Keisuke Ishii & Keigo Nakamura. They weren’t 100% compatible but still came out on top. Iino hit Nakamura with the Haka Elbow and Hashimoto followed up with the Albright to win. When asked if they were interested in going after the KO-D Tag Titles, both liked the idea but think they can do it on their own.

A brand new championship called the DDT Universal Title will crown its first champion on 23rd February. The belt was created as part of DDT’s international plans for 2020. Both Takeshita and Brookes have expressed their interest in becoming the first champion. Takeshita believes being the first champion on any belt is a special thing and he also wants to spread DDT across the world. Brookes thinks him versus Takeshita is the match to make to determine the first champion. Also the Praying Mantis Bomb will always beat Takeshita and Brookes wants another singles match to prove it.

5. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – A Block: Chihiro Hashimoto (6) defeated Yuki Iino (6) with the Albright (11:53).

7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – A Block: Tetsuya Endo (7) defeated Keisuke Ishii (6) with the Modified Yurikamome Hold (14:21).
8. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – A Block Tiebreaker: Tetsuya Endo defeated Chris Brookes with the Modified Yurikamome Hold (12:17).

A Block

1. Tetsuya Endo (7)
-. Chris Brookes (7)
3. Keisuke Ishii (6)
-. Konosuke Takeshita (6)
-. Chihiro Hashimoto (6)
-. Yuki Iino (6)
7. Yuki Ueno (4)

The winner of the A Block is… Tetsuya Endo! The results from today’s final matches in the group ended with Endo and Chris Brookes tied for first with 7 points each. Since their group match earlier in the tournament ended in a draw, the direct confrontation rule could not be applied for the tiebreaker. Hisaya Imabayashi entered the ring after the main event and announced Endo and Brookes would have a match to determine the block winner straight away!

Brookes had a slight advantage of having some time to rest while Endo had only just fought in the main event. Brookes targeted Endo’s ankle and hit the Praying Mantis Bomb but Endo kicked out at two. Endo caught his second win on the ring apron when he struck Brookes with an Overhead Kick. He then hit the Canadian Destroyer on the ring apron! Back in the ring Endo did the Shooting Star Press but took too long to pin Brookes, giving him a nearfall. Endo applied the Modified Yurikamome Hold and while Brookes tried to make the move backfire with a Cradle, Endo put the hold back into its proper position and got Brookes to give up.

Endo celebrated with Mad Paulie and said his entire tournament run was calculated, from the bad beginning to the good finish. Endo is the strongest wrestler in the A Block. He doesn’t know who out of HARASHIMA, Daisuke Sasaki and Masato Tanaka will win the B Block tomorrow. But the winner of the D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 will be Tetsuya Endo!

But what happened to the frontrunners that allowed both Endo and Brookes to overtake them? Keisuke Ishii fell to Endo in the original main event. Ishii hit his usual moves but also a Fisherman Buster outside of the ring. But Endo blocked the Double Arm DDT and also avoided the Kneel Kick. He caught Ishii in the Yurikamome Hold for the submission victory.

Konosuke Takeshita failed to win the group when he lost to Brookes. The match went back and forth with Takeshita doing an Avalanche German Suplex only for Brookes to counter the Cross-Arm German Suplex into an Octopus Hold. Takeshita rocked Brookes with a Lariat then went for the Walls Of Takeshita. The move that served Takeshita so well this year failed him today because Brookes twisted and rolled himself into a pinning cradle to get the surprise three count on his opponent.

Lastly, Yuki Iino failed to win the group thanks to Chihiro Hashimoto, who at this point has to be recognised as his biggest rival. Hashimoto Speared Iino before finishing him off with the Albright. Iino accepts that he lost this battle of honest power. It was all physical and Hashimoto was the better wrestler. He learned that it will take more than just physical strength to finally beat Hashimoto. For Hashimoto, she hopes to return to DDT next year to challenge for the KO-D Openweight Title.

A few things happened in the non-tournament matches. Daisuke Sasaki led DAMNATION to victory over DISASTER BOX in a 6-Man Tag Match. Mad Paulie took Kazuki Hirata’s GO! glasses and put them on. Music began to play until Sasaki pulled the glasses off. Sasaki believes he will win the Grand Prix so Endo should go find a new signboard for the group.

The match between Danshoku Dieno and Bull James fell apart because of the Lip Lock. But it wasn’t Dieno who used it. James did the move to Dieno, then Yukinori Matsui, then Daisuke Kiso and then Imabayashi, causing the match to get thrown out.

There was also a lot of kissing teases in the 3 Way Tag Match.

6. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – B Block: Masato Tanaka (8) defeated Yukio Sakaguchi (2) with the Sliding D (10:22).
7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2020 – B Block: Daisuke Sasaki (4) defeated HARASHIMA (2) with a School Boy (12:32).

A Block

1. Chihiro Hashimoto (4)
-. Yuki Ueno (4)
-. Yuki Iino (4)
4. Keisuke Ishii (2)
-. Konosuke Takeshita (2)
6. Tetsuya Endo (1)
-. Chris Brookes (1)

B Block

1. Masato Tanaka (8)
2. Daisuke Sasaki (4)
3. HARASHIMA (2)
-. Soma Takao (2)
-. Bull James (2)
-. Yukio Sakaguchi (2)
7. Naomi Yoshimura (0)

An exposed turnbuckle proved to be HARASHIMA’s downfall against Daisuke Sasaki. When Mad Paulie distracted Yukinori Matsui, Sasaki removed the turnbuckle pad from the neutral corner. HARASHIMA was thrown into the exposed corner several times but he was able to recover and keep fighting. But the end for him came when HARASHIMA missed the Somato and hit the corner again. Sasaki rolled him up in a School Boy to win the match and move up in the A Block ranking. HARASHIMA is a double champion but Sasaki is claiming to be the hero of this year’s D-Ou Grand Prix!

Masato Tanaka increases his lead in the B Block with a well earned win over Yukio Sakaguchi. He dodged the God’s Right Knee but the Sliding D was countered into a Cross Armbreaker turned into a Triangle Choke. Tanaka used Elbow Strikes to break out of the choke and hit the Sliding D for the three count. The result eliminates Sakaguchi from winning the B Block. In a post-match interview Tanaka was asked about the variety of opponents he has faced so far. Tanaka said he can handle different types of wrestlers because he has been regularly fighting against foreign opponents. It’s given him a body that can deal with anything.

Over in the A Block two wrestlers in particular have struggled to get out of the starting blocks. Tetsuya Endo is one of them, his poor form continued with an upset loss to Yuki Ueno. The Tetsuya In The Sky and the Handspring Overhead Kick both got two counts. Ueno avoided the Shooting Star Press then held Endo down with a blocked La Magistral Cradle for the surprise pin. Ueno admitted he couldn’t find a reason to enter the Grand Prix this year but beating Endo today made it worthwhile. Even if he has no reason to be here he can still win it!

Chris Brookes is the other wrestler struggling in the A Block. Yuki Iino on the other hand is doing just fine with his second win in a row. Brookes ambushed Iino with a dive out of the ring during the entrances. He placed Iino’s arm through a Chair and Double Stomped it from the ring apron. Brookes also had Iino’s Lariats scouted and used the Octopus Stretch as a counter to them. But the one move he didn’t have an answer for was the Spear. Iino hit it once to turn the tide in his favour and again to win the match. Brookes is now left wondering what it will take for him to reach the final.

Congratulations to Makoto Oishi for becoming a dad! His first child was born on 1st December and today was Oishi’s first match since. The good news was stuck in Oishi’s mind all match because whenever he was in the ring with an opponent, he would rub their face and cuddle them like they were a baby. His opponents ended up enjoying it and would ask to get tagged in. Keigo Nakamura got the tag but at that point Oishi remembered they were in a wrestling match. He gave Nakamura the Miracle Ecstasy for the three count.

4. Saki Akai “Okibariyasu” 7 Match Series – 1st Match: Tsukasa Fujimoto defeated Saki Akai with the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex (9:32).
5. After Ultimate Party 2019 Special Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita & Jiro Kuroshio defeated Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita when Kuroshio pinned Honda with the Moonsault Press (14:07).
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao (c) defeated Masahiro Takanashi & Chris Brookes when Takao pinned Brrokes with the Official Endless Waltz (13:43).
*V9 for DAMNATION.
7. KO-D Openweight Title: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Yuki Iino with the Somato (16:51).
*V1 for HARASHIMA.

HARASHIMA’s first defence for his latest KO-D Openweight Title got off to a good start with a victory over Yuki Iino. The challenger used the Bubba Bomb and the Haka Elbow but couldn’t put HARASHIMA away. He went for the Spear but HARASHIMA blocked it with a Standing Somato. When both got back up they got into a Elbow Smash battle that ended with Iino throwing a Headbutt. However HARASHIMA hit back with a Spin Kick to the face that knocked Iino down. HARASHIMA used a Buzzsaw Kick to set up the match ending Somato. The champion called Iino a great opponent he wants to face again and again. He called Iino a TV star but HARASHIMA also appeared on a TV drama recently so he thinks that cancelled out Iino’s advantage. HARASHIMA won’t have any more title defences for the rest of the year. His next DDT Extreme Title defence will be on 12th January and his next KO-D Title defence is on 26th January. For now HARASHIMA will concentrate on winning the D-Ou Grand Prix.

Today was the most under threat DAMNATION have been towards losing the KO-D Tag Team Titles. As the match progressed problems grew between Daisuke Sasaki and Soma Takao. Thanks to the craftiness of Masahiro Takanashi, he would make Sasaki bump into Takao over and over until Takao had enough and he turned on Sasaki! After smashing Sasaki with an Elbow Strike, Takao left the ring in anger. Sasaki had to fight his opponents mostly on his own but Tetsuya Endo did what he could from ringside to prevent Sasaki from losing. Endo gave a chair to Sasaki which caused Takao to come back and grab it off him. However Takao then hit Takanashi with the chair and all was good again with DAMNATION! The match became 2 Vs 2 again. Sasaki pulled Takanashi out of the ring while Takao blocked the Praying Mantic Bomb from Chris Brookes. From there Takao used the Official Endless Waltz to cradle Brookes into pins until he finally got a three count. Backstage Takao says he has not forgiven Sasaki yet but Sasaki doesn’t care. Today proved that they can win matches even if their friendship is broken. They are one more title defence away from taking their team to the next level. But first they have to worry about the D-Ou GP where they just happen to be in the same block. Brookes told Takanashi not to worry about the loss because CDK are only a new team. They will get another shot at the titles some day.

The team of Antonio Honda & Miyu Yamashita took on a new challenge when they faced Konosuke Takeshita & Jiro Kuroshio. Honda complained that Kuroshio was wearing a nice jacket while he wrestled. Yamashita faked an injury along with Honda after a leapfrog spot but took the match seriously when she faced off with Takeshita. She gave Takeshita a German Suplex but he immediately fired back with a Lariat. Honda stripped Kuroshio of his jacket but struggled to put it on himself. When he wound up his hands for the Bionic Elbow they got entangled by the jacket. That gave Kuroshio the chance to knock him down and pin him with the Moonsault Press. Takeshita told Kuroshio he wants to wrestle him again no matter if it is in DDT, America or even the health center were they hung out at. Kuroshio joked that it will probably be at the health center. They hugged and vowed to reunite in the future.

Saki Akai’s first match in her “Okibariyasu” Series ended in a loss to Tsukasa Fujimoto. But she can be happy to know she put up a good fight. Akai couldn’t hit the Quetzalcoatl and it took Fujimoto two attempts to hit the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex. Fujimoto intentionally used the move because Akai said in an interview that she wanted to wrestle Manami Toyota. When you wrestle Fujimoto, you also wrestle Toyota in spirit. Akai will take what she has learned and use them along with her emotions for the next match. Opponent #2 in her series will be Sakura Hirota and that match will be on 28th December.

The rookie Keigo Nakamura took the microphone before his match and told everyone his dream is to win a championship. He figured out the fastest way to do this is to go for the KO-D Tag Team Titles with Shinya Aoki because of Aoki’s KO power. He asked Aoki if he wanted to do that but Aoki’s answer was “Who are you?” Their match began and Danshoku Dieno got his hands on Nakamura while Aoki fought with Super Sasadango Machine. Sasadango escaped from Aoki’s Sleeper Hold by slipping out of his mask. Dieno then gave Aoki the Lip Lock and the Danshoku Driver to set up something even more expected. Sasadango hit the three Lehmann Shocks and pinned Aoki! Sadadango reappeared later in the show and asked for a singles match with Aoki on 28/12 to figure out if this was a fluke or if he reall does have potential to be a serious pro wrestler.

The dream has come true for Michiaki Nakano. He has finally won the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title! If only for a minute. He didn’t win the Battle Royal despite bribing the other wrestlers thousands and thousands of yen to help him beat up Kazuki Hirata. However Hirata beat the odds and eliminated every one of his opponents to win the match. Things looked to be peaceful after the match until Nakano gave Hirata the Rainmaker and went for the pin. Hirata kicked out at one. Makoto Oishi then hit Hirata with the title belt and Nakano jumped onto Hirata before Oishi could for the title change. Nakano celebrated until Oishi rolled him up for the three count and ran off with the belt.

Now that Nobuhiro Shimatani has gone freelance, somebody has to carry around the DAMNATION signboard. Endo ended up doing it today. Somehow the sign is now upside down. It’s not all bad. He and Mad Paulie won the 4 Way Tag.

Kazusada Higuchi will return to the ring on 28th December. He has been out of action since September.

Hirata’s 10th Anniversary show will take place on 14th March, 2020.
