1. Ganpro Specialty Two Major Singles Match: Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Tyson Maeguchi with an Indian Deathlock (9:19).
2. Ganpro Specialty Mixed 6-Man Tag Match: Moeka Haruhi, HARUKAZE & Baliyan Akki defeated Yuna Manase, YuuRI & SAGAT when Haruhi pinned YuuRI with the Ojosama Clutch (13:15).
3. Ganpro Specialty Two Major Singles Match: Ken Ohka defeated Mizuki Watase with the Flame Spear (16:54).
4. Katsumura-gun Vs ROMANCE DAWN: Shuichiro Katsumura & Tsuyoshi Okada defeated Shota & Soma Takao when Katsumura pinned Takao with the HEAT Clutch (12:18).
5. Takaiwa Army Vs Ganpro Full-Scale Battle: Tatsuhito Takaiwa, 5th Black Tiger & Kenya Maeda defeated Yumehito Imanari, Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki when Takaiwa pinned Imanari with the Death Valley Bomb (14:11).
Less than a month to go before Yumehito Imanari challenges Tatsuhito Takaiwa for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title and things are not looking good for the challenger. First at the contract signing before the show, Takiawa blindsided Imanari with a Lariat. Then in the main event Imanari was pinned directly by the champion in a 6-Man Tag Match. The Lou Thesz Press was blocked by Takaiwa and from that point on he had Imanari beaten in a dominant performance. Takaiwa told Imanari that he wants the Spirit Of Ganbare Title to rival the major championships and that won’t happen with competition like this. There is no pressure and no atmosphere being provided by Imanari. However the Takaiwa Army were still in a good mood to celebrate the win with highballs. Takiawa told Imanari he hopes to drink highballs with him on 3rd May.
The tension between Ken Ohka and Mizuki Watase was all let out when they fought each other today. Ohka ended up winning when he gave Watase two Dragon Suplexes followed by two Flame Spears. Afterwards Watase said this was the version of Ohka he was waiting for and it makes him glad he moved over to Ganbare☆Pro. Ohka gave a speech promoting Ganpro’s upcoming big shows when suddenly Super Sasadango Machine entered the ring. He said it doesn’t feel like Ohka is the star of Ganpro like he used to be. He should be in the main event at Ota Ward Gymnasium this summer but isn’t ready right now. So Sasadango challenged Ohka to a singles match on 3rd May. However, it won’t be Sasadango in the ring with Ohka. It will be Muscle Sakai! He pulled his mask off and began a strike exchange with Ohka that ended with Headbutts. Both of them want to show the younger wrestlers what they are made of.
The Ganbare☆Joshi division was given a surprise when VENYU showed up after their match! The pair of Asuka & Yuki Kamifuku are bringing their tag team over from Tokyo Joshi Pro so Kamifuku could have a reunion with Yuna Manase. Kamifuku talked about when Manase left TJPW for Ganpro, it left her feeling lonely. But it also made her become stronger and she ended up finding a new really strong tag partner. So VENYU want a match against Manase & YuuRI on 3rd May! Manase began to cry and promised it will be a match that will drive all four of them crazy like only pro wrestling can.
Shinjiro Otani & Mizuki Watase Vs Keisuke Ishii & Kouki Iwasaki will take place on 3rd May.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “STILL INCOMPLETE ’22”, 09/04/2022
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Pom Harajuku & Moka Miyamoto Vs Haruna Neko & Kaya Toribami
2. Marika Kobashi Vs Raku
3. Hyper Misao Vs Miu Watanabe
4. Miyu Yamashita Vs Juria Nagano
5. Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku Vs Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta
6. Saki Akai & Yuki Arai Vs Rika Tatsumi & Mahiro Kiryu
7. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Suzume & Arisu Endo
8. Princess Of Princess Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Yuki Aino
The Princess Of Princess Title match is a fresh start for both wrestlers involved as well as for Tokyo Joshi Pro as a whole. Shoko Nakajima is kicking off her reign as the 10th champion and wants to give everyone everything she has. Yuki Aino is moving on from being primarily a tag team wrestler and turn into a leader like her seniors.
The new team on the block Arisuzu have been winning over people with their combined cuteness in the ring. Yuka Sakazaki wants to show them that being cute is not enough to become the champion. If Arisu Endo wins the Princess Tag Team Titles she wants to bring them to her hometown and proudly show them to her family. Suzume wants Arisuzu to win the belts and become a strong presence for TJPW. Mizuki wants to remind everyone that The Magical Sugar Rabbits are continuing to grow stronger. If MagiRabi successfully defend the Princess Tag Titles they have big plans for the rest of their title reign. Sakazaki would like to go beat up Mickey Mouse at Disneyland, Hello Kitty at Sanrio Puroland and then Pokotan if he is still around. Mizuki said something similar about defending the titles in theme parks but it sounds like mascots will be safe from her wrath.
Juria Nagano wants to hit Miyu Yamashita with all of her strength and have no regrets coming out of their match. Yamashita is happy to fight someone with a karate background similar to hers. Nagano thinks the difference between them is her own kicks were only ever used to score points in Karate while Yamashita has been kicking to hurt her opponents in pro wrestling for many years. She eventually wants her own kicks to become stronger than Yamashita’s. The Brazilian Kick would be her strike of choice in that situation.

The urgent appearance of KANON leads to an extra match added for this Sunday’s show. The newly freelanced wrestler takes on Yuki Ishida in the opening bout. KANON made his pro wrestling debut in JUST TAP OUT in July 2019 and has an athletic background in swimming and volleyball. He comes to DDT interested in fighting all of the wrestlers here from his generation.

1. Special 6-Man Tag Match ~ Pheromones Vs GM Imabayashi Final Battle: Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari Vs Hisaya Imabayashi, AKIRA & Muscle Sakai
2. DDT Universal Title: MAO (c) Vs Asuka
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Tetsuya Endo (c) Vs Yuki Ueno
Ever since Pheromones was formed, nobody was more of a victim from their antics than Hisaya Imabayashi. The DDT GM has been “publicly executed” by the unit over and over. Recently he began to fight back but the numbers game is just too much for him to handle. Luckily help is on the way for him to finally get his own back. AKIRA has come to the rescue, knowing Imabayashi from a storyline they did in MUSCLE many many years ago. That link will also draw Muscle Sakai away from retirement so the three of them can put Pheromones in their place once and for all.

1. Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi defeated Masahiro Takanashi & Soma Takao when Naya submitted Takanashi with the Modified Torture Cobra Twist (8:29).
2. Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno, Yuki “Sexy” Iino & Yumehito “Fantastic” Imanari Vs Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata & Yuki Ishida ended in a No Contest (?:??).
3. Special Tag Match: Maya Yukihi & Akito defeated Saki Akai & Antonio Honda when Yukihi pinned Honda with the Snowstorm (9:30).
4. Daisuke Sasaki, Minoru Fujita & MJ Paul defeated HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura & Yuya Koroku when Sasaki submitted Koroku with the Llave (12:11).
5. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Hideki Okatani with the Zahi (9:58).
6. Yokohama Specialty Special Tag Match: Asuka & Yuji Hino defeated MAO & Chris Brookes when Asuka pinned MAO with the Michinoku Driver II (15:07).
7. BURNING Vs The 37KAMIINA!: Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada defeated Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & Toui Kojima when Endo pinned Kojima with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (20:27).
If Yuki Ueno wants to lead The 37KAMIINA in Konosuke Takeshita’s absence then he still has a lot of work to do. Tetsuya Endo was one step ahead of him, laying him out with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb before pinning Toui Kojima with the same move. Endo said afterwards if Ueno can’t protect his friends then how can he make it to the top in DDT? He then made a joke about how Ueno was replaced with an invisible man for the Hiragana Muscle shows this week. If Ueno doesn’t work harder for the rest of the month then Endo might as well replace him with The Invisible Man for the KO-D Openweight Title match on 1st May! Endo guarantees a successful title defence against either of them.
Today was the first time Asuka & Yuji Hino teamed together in DDT. Outside of DDT they are associated with each other through the Revengers unit in ZERO1. They were an effective duo against MAO & Chris Brookes, using their finishers on them at the same time for the win. Asuka warned MAO that he is weak and too busy fooling around. He better be careful or else Asuka will win the DDT Universal Title on 1st May. MAO excused the loss on running out of MP despite still claiming to have a lot of HP. He has been busy doing so many things since winning the Universal Title like having matches on the streets and performing on five Muscle shows in three days. That is why his MP gauge has become empty.
Maya Yukihi couldn’t believe she got to wrestle Antonio Honda today. When she first saw DDT it was Honda who impressed her the most. She knew how to deal with him by doing the Bionic Elbow dance to throw him off his game. However just like everyone else she fell for his Gongitsune stalling tactics. Saki Akai joined in to poke Akito in the eyes. Shen then tried to Gongitsune Poke on Yukihi but she blocked it and rolled up Honda to win the match. Akai told Yukihi this match was her being welcomed into the deeper world of DDT. She is looking forward to the two of them beating Cherry & Miyako Matsumoto on 10th April.

Earlier in the show, Hisaya Imabayashi interrupted the Pheromones match after they crossed the line like they usually do. However this time instead of attacking him in response, they left him alone. Later on they came back out and asked Imabayashi what match they will be in on 1st May. He hadn’t decided on anything yet so Danshoku Dieno said there is an opponent he would really like to fight… Imabayashi himself! The GM started panicking and refused to book the match causing Pheromones to attack him. All of a sudden AKIRA ran down to the ring and made the save. He heard about what Pheromones has been doing and offered to team with Imabayashi to stop them together. Imabayashi said he couldn’t do it because he is not a wrestler. AKIRA told him he is a father. What would his children think if they didn’t see him stand up for himself? Imabayashi agreed but said they needed an extra man to even the odds. AKIRA brought up the time they wrestled each other on a MUSCLE show over 15 years ago. He remembers there was someone else back then. Muscle Sakai! The three of them will join forces to crush Pheromones!
Hino took pride in himself and Yukio Naya both winning their matches today. Naya made Masahiro Takanashi submit for the second time in a row. It has left Takanashi feel like giving up for good but he made a promise continue doing his best for Brookes.

The mystery man who showed up today is KANON, the wrestler who was recently associated with JUST TAP OUT. It was announced last month he was leaving JTO and today is his first day as a freelancer. He told the audience he was looking for a new battleground and found out that DDT has many strong wrestlers from his generation. This kind of place makes him want to test his potential. His first match here will be against Yuki Ishida on 10th April.

The final day of the Hiragana Muscle tripleheader featured two performances of the show. The invisible man substituting for Yuki Ueno was killed in action on the afternoon show when Kazusada Higuchi slammed him onto the Buddha Statue, impaling him through it. That match only in the 3rd Round of the K-I Grand Prix so the show ended with narration explaining that Higuchi then lost to Yasu Urano in the Quarter Final.

Muscle Sakai you motherfucker! All these matches “happened” on every performance but it’s only the final show that has the results recorded. I feel sorry for CageMatch if they’re trying to figure out whether or not these count towards each wrestler’s match history.
Ueno’s illness turned out to be gastroenteritis and he recovered enough to take part in the evening’s final performance. He and Konosuke Takeshita met in the Grand Prix final and were about to start their battle when the lights went out and “To Be Continued” appeared on the screen behind them.
The next set of Hiragana Muscle shows will be held on 7th September in Korakuen Hall and 8th & 9th September in Kitazawa Town Hall.

1. K-I (Kai) GP 2022 Semi-Final: “Yuki Ueno” defeated Shunma Katsumata after a Self-Destruct Chair Attack (16:58).
Today’s Hiragana Muscle show had to figure out what do you do when the star of the show pulls out sick? Yuki Ueno had to miss today’s show because of a fever and he was supposed to be the main character. Muscle Sakai and Amon Tsurumi apologized for his absence and explained it was too late to rewrite the script. They announced the role of “Yuki Ueno” was now going to be played by an invisible man. With that out of the way it was time for the show to begin.

Yuki Rock and Minamikawa introduced everyone to the K-I (Kai) Grand Prix. They wanted to celebrate the 18th Anniversary of MUSCLE (aka Katakana Muscle), the 2nd Anniversary of Hiragana Muscle and also the milestone anniversaries for New Japan and All Japan. They decided a 48 man one day tournament was the best way to mark the occasions. They introduced the bracket and used the Multiverse theory as their excuse to explain why DDT wrestlers were in the same tournament as their Muscle characters.
Now everyone had to figure out how to do a 47 match tournament in 100 minutes. Sakai’s solution was to do a highlights digest of Round 1. Then in Round 2 the ring would be divided into four sections for the A Block matches to all take place at the same time while the B Block matches would be held at a different venue to be broadcast on the screen. Round 1 began and all of the wrestlers tried to do a live action montage of the match highlights. Afterwards Rock & Minamikawa went to the Steel Chair Castle. There they told The Steel Chair Boys about the Kohki project that mixes traditional craft with professional wrestling. With Kohki they can use weapons not to cause fouls but to promote products! They were presented with three such items. The first is a steel chair painted with lacquer and containing a cushion made of brocade that results in a Super Hit when used as a weapon. The second is a Buddha Statue that will reduce the fighting spirit of whoever holds it. The third is a gong and mallet that hurts everyone who hears it during an out of the ring brawl. Rock & Minamikawa told The Steel Chair Boys they can all become rich together if they use these weapons in the tournament final!
Back at the Grand Prix, Round 2 began. The ring was roped off into four quarters with each of the A Block matches taking place in each section. The split didn’t last though and the eight wrestlers in the ring ended up getting in each other’s way. There was concern that the different universes interacting with each other would have reality changing side effects but the tournament continued. When those matches were over, the B Block was shown on screen. Each match allegedly took place at either an underground arena beneath the Tokyo Dome, outside Sumo Hall, inside the New Beijing Ochanomizu Dojo or on a street near the DDT dojo. The C Block was next and time was running out so every match was held under 2 Count Rules with a 100 second time limit. Finally the D Block took place with One Count Falls and 50 second time limits. One match ended in a draw and was supposed to restart with no time limit but Tsurumi called it off and chose the winner so the show could move on.
It was time for Round 3 but there was a problem behind the scenes. Tsurumi was angry at Sakai because he script had so much happening in the show already. Rock & Minamikawa offered to help out until everyone discovered that the rest of the script hasn’t been written yet. A halftime show then began with a musical performance by The Steel Chair Boys. Suddenly Human Chair Imanari started going insane from holding the lacquer chair. Luckily Tetsuya Endo made his mandatory run in and saved the day. The Finisher Boys then performed their songs and announced they are suspending activities on 31st March because Totaro Omoiki (Konosuke Takeshita) will be going abroad.
There was only time left in the show for the main event so the last match of the K-I Grand Prix was the semi-final between Shunma Katsumata and an invisible Yuki Ueno. It was a hard fought back and forth battle between the two friends. “Ueno” hit Katsumata with the BME for a nearfall and then followed up with the WR. On the count of 2 everything slowed down and “Etupirka” began playing. Katsumata gave a monologue from the heart, saying he and Ueno can make The 37KAMIINA the best unit together but he will not give up. He kicked out of the WR and fought back. Katsumata hit the Sauna Trance Splash but the match slowed down and “Etupirka” played again. This time Yuki Rock gave a monologue but it was just to advertise his Kohki products. He handed Katsumata the chair and Katsumata went crazy attacking “Ueno” with it. A bunch of run ins happened and Katsumata ended up bouncing the chair into his own face, knocking him backwards into Roll Up so “Ueno” could pin him for the victory.
Katsumata got on the microphone and told “Ueno” he is still strong. He is going to miss Takeshita while he is in America but still has the rest of The 37KAMIINA to keep him company. He wants all five members to make DDT and Muscle more exciting. Yuki Rock placed the chair in the middle of the ring for “Ueno” to sit on while Sakai gave the show closing speech. Sakai said he was worried when Ueno sent him the picture of his 39 degree temperature but he though the match “Ueno” had today was great. Everyone is coming off of a Sumo Hall show last week and a Korakuen Hall show yesterday which makes Sakai wonder how they are able to do this. Katsumata shouted out “Because I’m a professional wrestler!” Sakai perked up and made him shout it again. He then told “Ueno” to grab his big chance and accept his upcoming challenges head on fair and square. Sakai then ended the show asking everyone to give him all of their support so Ueno can rest easy for the next few days.

Earlier this week Tetsuya Endo visited Kenta Kobashi at his gym to talk about his successful KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles defence at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2021”. Kobashi praised Endo for getting bigger. He noticed Endo’s movements haven’t changed and his posture in the air is good so his weight gain isn’t negatively effecting his performance. Endo was advised to target 95-100kg for his ideal weight. However Kobashi also said that Endo didn’t stand out much during the match. Instead the focus was entirely on Yuji Hino and Saki Akai.
Kobashi moved on to talking about Endo’s rivalries with Konosuke Takeshita and Jun Akiyama. He thinks Takeshita defeating Akiyama while Endo couldn’t is the kind of frustration Endo needs in order to become stronger. That along with the support of his fans is what can make Endo the champion again. Endo then showed Kobashi a video of a brand new finishing move he is working on, one nobody else has seen yet. Kobashi approves of it and recommends Endo to work on his arm strength because it is the key to make this mystery move work. He also told him to give it a good name so it will become the move that represents Endo. After an hour long talk, Endo worked out in the gym with Kobashi coaching him.

My nightmare of trying to write up the Muscle show report is back. Let’s see what 2.9 Dimensional ideas Muscle Sakai has for The Finisher Boys and The Folding Chair Boys this time. Maybe Endo will do another run in.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2021 SUMMER ~STEP AND A STEP~”, 04/09/2021
Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall
1. Hikari Noa & Kaya Toribami
2. Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Arisu Endo
3. Shoko Nakajima, Raku & Moka Miyamoto Vs Mirai Maiumi, Suzume & Haruna Neko
4. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Pom Harajuku Vs Hyper Misao, Nao Kakuta & Nodoka Tenma
5. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh Vs Yuki Aino & Marika Kobashi
The 121000000 tag team is still alive even though Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh have a big match against each other coming up. Itoh originally thought they would have to split up but Yamashita convinced her that continuing their team will not effect their match at “WRESTLE PRINCESS II”.
GANBARE☆PRO “HARLEY DAVIDSON & MARLBORO MAN 2021”, 12/09/2021
Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall
1. Ganpro Special Mixed 6-Person Tag Match: Shota, Moeka Haruhi & Miyako Matsumoto Vs Shinichiro Tominaga, Makoto & HARUKAZE
2. Ganpro Triple Big Singles Match: Nobuhiro Shimatani Vs Takahiro Katori
3. Ganpro Triple Big Singles Match: Shuichiro Katsumura Vs Shu Sakurai
4. Ganpro Triple Big Singles Match ~ 26 Year Revenge For The Master: Shinjiro Otani Vs Kouki Iwasaki
5. Ken Ohka Pre-Debut 20th Anniversary Special Tag Match Part 2: Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari Vs Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie
Look at Shinjiro Otani. He is spoiled for choice when it comes to matches against the Ganbare☆Pro roster. They all want a piece of him and he wants them too. Otani asked for a match against Kouki Iwasaki because Iwasaki’s mentor is Kenichi Yamamoto. In 1995 Yamamoto defeated Otani at a UWFi event. 26 years later Otani gets a chance to get some measure of revenge by fighting his student.
Shu Sakurai will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from Ganpro after 25th September. He explains this decision is being made for positive reasons and he will be using his experience from wrestling to take on new challenges. This is not a retirement from pro wrestling so he may return some day having grown as a pro wrestler and also as a person. Before he leaves, Sakurai wants to wrestle Shuichiro Katsumura so he gets to have that match.
GANBARE☆PRO “BAD COMMUNICATION -ULTRA PLEASURE STYLE 2021”, 25/09/2021
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Yuna Manase & Yuna Mizumori Vs Asuka & HARUKAZE
2. THE HALFEE Vs Team Sanyo Sanin Full Scale Battle: Katsuzaki Shunosuke, Moehiko Harumisawa & Shu Sakurai Vs Minoru Fujita, Nobuhiro Shimatani & Itsuki Aoki
3. Ganpro Special Tag Match: Tatsuhito Takaiwa & Shigehiro Irie Vs Yumehito Imanari & Kouki Iwasaki
4. IJ Tag Team Titles: Kenichiro Arai & Shota (c) Vs Hagane Shinno & Shinichiro Tominaga
5. Ganpro Special Single Match: Keisuke Ishii Vs Shinjiro Otani
6. Ken Ohka 20th Anniversary Special Tag Match ~Roar Of The Lion King~: Ken Ohka & Isami Kodaka Vs HARASHIMA & Kengo Mashimo
Otani’s other big singles match this month is a first time one on one meeting with Keisuke Ishii. His appearance in Ganpro has given Ishii new motivation after he went through a slump from losing the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title. Ishii made the challenge and Otani has been impressed enough with his work to accept it.
Tenryu Project has approved of Hagane Shinno & Shinichiro Tominaga’s challenge for the IJ Tag Team Titles. They gave Kenichiro Arai & Shota permission to defend the belts after the champions accepted the challenge.
It was Otani’s idea to get Tatsuhito Takaiwa booked on the show. I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been noticing this Ganpro/ZERO1 relationship for a while and I wonder if it will lead to anything more permanent down the road.
Sakurai ends his wrestling career with the rest of THE HALFEE.

2. Bonus Track: DJ Nira defeated Danshoku Dieno with Yamata no Orochi (12:26).

Remember that dress rehearsal from September? Well plans change. That entire show went so well that it cannot possibly be repeated with the same results. So Muscle Sakai had to come up with something else for today’s performance. The goal of Muscle is to merge together the worlds of reality, mange and pro wrestling. For example, manga panels of Sakai coming up with a new script was shown on the screen. Then The Finisher Boys appeared in the ring all representing different elements of Boys Love manga. Konosuke Takeshita represented hugging from behind, Yuki Ueno represented kissing, Akito represented choke play, Shunma Katsumata represented head petting and Kazuki Hirata represented the missionary position.

The line between reality and manga was blurred even further when The Steel Chair Boys (Kazusada Higuchi, Mizuki Watase, Choun-Shiryu, Shota & new member MAO) showed up for their own dance number. The only way to decide what is reality was for the two sides to use the Go To Reincarnation Campaign!

The Finisher Boys (minus Hirata) went to a DDT (Domestic Dotacan Team) tryout with Poison Hayashi, Jaya Tokubayashi (Hisaya Imabayashi), Super Systema Power (South River Minamikawa) and Camera☆Imanari (Yumehito Imanari) all observing their performances. After an exhibition match, the big president Shichihashiro Nayagi (Yukio Naya) walked in with Vice President Yuki (Yuki The Rock) by his side. Only two trainees would be hired but all four were so good that Nayagi decided to hire them all.

The next scene took place in a bar. We find out that Nobuhiko Sunada (Danshoku Dieno) and Kazuo Nirayamazaki (DJ Nira) were both fired in order to fit The Finisher Boys onto the DDT roster. They complained about the current style of DDT because they have wrestlers who use magic spells and computer programs in their matches. VP Yuki overheard them and agreed with the complaints. He also thinks DDT’s wrestling is strange. Why do the wrestlers bounce off the ropes? Why do they let opponents do moves on them? Why does a pinfall need to be a 3 count to win? He has an idea for a new promotion to beat DDT. It is called Uki Double F International! Or Uki-Inter for short. He already has sponsors, celebrity endorsements and wrestlers from DDT willing to jump ship. With Sunada and Nirayamazaki by his side they can rule pro wrestling! They get into a business alliance with The Folding Chair Boys who need the income because the Coronavirus was cutting into their finances.

Uki-Inter and The Folding Chair Boys launch their attack on DDT, crashing the main event of “NEVER MIND 2020”. The match becomes a 4 Vs 4 inter-promotional war. Uki-Inter gets the upper hand until Tetsuya Endo came down for his one contractual run in per Muscle show. He could have fought off the invaders by himself but he told The Finisher Boys it is their duty as DDT trainees to defend their seniors from the enemy. Endo left and both sides agreed to a way that would settle their confrontation.

The match will now be a 2.9 QUINTET survival contest! Both teams get five fighters and they will have 1 Vs 1 elimination grappling matches until one team is left standing. The matches took place in a ring with no ropes attached with Shinya Aoki on commentary. One by one the matches happened and in the end Uki-Inter won with two fighters left to spare.

The story was over and Muscle Sakai came out to give a closing speech. He explained that it’s been difficult for fans to express themselves at shows during the epidemic because they cannot cheer or boo for safety reasons. So he wanted to dedicate 10 minutes for the audience to tweet about the show and the wrestlers would vanity search them. Meanwhile Danshoku Dieno and DJ Nira would wrestle a match to pass the time. When the match ended and everyone finished retweeting the fans, Sakai announced that “HIRAGANA MUSCLE 4” will take place Spring 2021.

MUSCLE “HIRAGANA MUSCLE 3 ~FINISH RANPATSU~ OPEN TO THE PUBLIC”, 21/09/2020
Tokyo Shinagawa The Grand Hall
??? Fans – Withheld
1. Konosuke Takeshita & Yukio Naya defeated South River Minamikawa & Mizuki Watase when Takeshita submitted Minamikawa with the Walls Of Takeshita (13:13).
2. HARASHIMA defeated Kazuki Hirata with a Middle Kick (11:38).

The last time we were with Muscle it was established that the brand represents 2.5D Pro Wrestling, which is an area that exists in between multimedia and reality. With this knowledge Super Sasadango Machine came up with the idea of making a 2.9D pro wrestling musical in the hopes it will become a successful multimedia juggernaut. Today was the rehearsal for “Finish Ranpatsu”. The completed production is supposed to take place on 9th November. Yuki The Rock & South River Minamikawa introduced everyone to the show then Minamikawa found out he was going to wrestle.

Minamikawa teamed up with Mizuki Watase to take on Konosuke Takeshita & Yukio Naya. He tried to teach Watase the Systema breathing technique that blocks out pain. It seemed to work against strikes but Takeshita & Naya switched to submission holds and Systema became useless. Minamikawa had Takeshita on the ropes after hitting him with a Shining Wizard. He tried to do the Gotch-Style Piledriver but Takeshita tripped him down and applied the Walls Of Takeshita. Minamikawa gave up but claimed it was because he’s running late for something else, not because of the pain.

After that match, the wrestlers came out and practiced their performance routines. The plot is about The Finisher Boys (Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno, Akito, Shunma Katsumata & Kazuki Hirata) and The Steel Chair Boys (Kazusada Higuchi, Naomi Yoshimura, Mizuki Watase, Choun-Shiryu & Shota). Some of it was dance, some of it was acting and some of it was wrestling. But tragedy struck when Sasadango was attacked by The Folding Chair Boys and they left him for dead. The show went into intermission with Hirata promising to become the next Super Sasadango Machine in the real world.

After the break, Sasadango came out with a halo above his head. He was here to tell a story about his history with DDT. Kazuki Hirata played the part of Muscle Sakai, Watase was given the role of WATASHIMA and Naya showed up as Big Boss. According to Sasadango, he joined DDT’s video team to learn how to be a movie director. He doesn’t remember much about the roster back then other than the main event babyface WATASHIMA was a jerk.

In the ring was the moment when Sakai became a pro wrestler. Sakai was filming the others practicing when they told him to take a bump. He did one and everybody was impressed. Sakai and WATASHIMA then had a sparring session. Sakai was given a Low Blow but he recovered and pinned WATASHIMA with a School Boy. Thus began Sakai’s pro wrestling career.

Fast forward to several years later. Sakai is busy both wrestling and running projects behind the scenes. WATASHIMA came to visit and offered him to smoke something out of a bong to stay relaxed. A reluctant Sakai agreed but regretted the decision when WATASHIMA challenged him to another sparring session. Suddenly The Folding Chair Boys arrived for an elaborate dance number and then helped WATASHIMA injure Sakai’s knee with a domino chair spot. The injury took its toll over time and Sakai had to retire.

It is now five years later. Sakai was now running his family’s business and he hired all of the shitty wrestlers DDT fired, like DJ Nira. But still Sakai deep down wanted to wrestle again. Nira offered him something mysterious to heal his knee injury. It is bamboo leaves, the kind they use to wrap around sasadango treats. If Sakai wears wrestling gear made out of bamboo leaves then he will be able to wrestle again without feeling pain. The Finish Boys then appeared and gave Sakai the Super Sasadango Machine costume. They then encouraged him to confront WATASHIMA and win the championship from him!

The scene is now the KO-D Openweight Title match between WATASHIMA and Super Sasadango Machine. Their match also featured The Finish Boys and The Folding Chair Boys fighting each other in a battle invisible to everyone else around them. Things then took another turn when Tetsuya Endo showed up and hit the Shooting Star Press on WATASHIMA. The ex-DDT wrestlers got their revenge on Big Boss and Sasadango created the Vertical Drop Lehmann Shock to win the championship!

Suddenly the performance was interrupted by Yuki The Rock. He questioned if this play was based on a true story because Sasadango never won the KO-D Title in real life. Hirata had gone too deep into his role at this point and thought he really was Sasadango and he really did win the title. This problem needed to be solved so Yuki brought out HARASHIMA! He snapped Hirata back to his normal self and explained that he was always average. He never stood out as the best of anything. For a long time he was content with just being that but seeing the other wrestlers get invested into Muscle made him jealous. Also he struggled to handle the cancellation of his 10th Anniversary show due to the pandemic. He jumped at the opportunity to take the lead role of today’s show but got too attached to it. He is satisfied with his performance today and now has the courage to challenge HARASHIMA to a match right there, right now!

HARASHIMA happily accepted the challenge and they had a proper match. Hirata fought his best and had encouragement from the wrestlers around him. But HARASHIMA put him down with a Middle Kick to win.

Still, HARASHIMA was impressed by Hirata’s performance. All of the wrestlers were, even the bad guys. Hirata got to show his real emotions in the ring today and that is a better tale than any true story.

5c. HARASHIMA defeated Kazuki Hirata with a Crab Hold (11:32).

6. Tetsuya Endo Produce Hardcore Tag Match – DAMNATION Vs ALL OUT!: Konosuke Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata defeated Tetsuya Endo & Nobuhiro Shimatani when Katsumata pinned Shimatani with a Samson Clutch (19:00).

Day 2 of the Beer Garden-Like shows was a bit more comic book like in the main event. Tetsuya Endo put together a Hardcore Match expecting Shunma Katsumata would turn up in his Super Hardcore form. Endo’s counter to that was giving Nobuhiro Shimatani his own Super Hardcore look! Even Konosuke Takeshita was blown away by how big Shimatani had become. However Katsumata appeared in his regular gear and wrestled his normal style. Midway through the match Endo got on the microphone and dared Super Hardcore Katsumata to get involved. Katsumata finally agreed when the fans applauded the idea so he ran out of the arena. Takeshita was left alone to fight two against one until Super Hardcore Katsumata arrived. The wrestlers slammed each other onto chairs and through tables. Lego filled the ring too making the match even more dangerous. A blown Super Kick from Katsumata to Takeshita allowed Endo to hit both of them with the Overhead Kick. Shimatani gave Katsumata the Fisherman Suplex for a nearfall. Katsumata snuck in a Samson Clutch to squeeze in the win. Endo apologized to Shimatani after the match and praised his Super Hardcore form. If he keeps at it he will become the No. 1 Hardcore wrestler before Katsumura does!

DISASTER BOX pitted themselves against each other in a Punishment 5 Way Match. The rules were every winner leaves the match until one wrestler is left, then that loser would be punished. Over the top rope eliminations were included so Kazuki Hirata jumped over by himself thinking he would be done with the match. Self eliminations didn’t count so he had to get back in the ring. Tension built up and even the closest of friends wouldn’t trust each other. Yuki Ueno thought Naomi Yoshimura would backstab him so Nautilus began fighting each other. Hirata tried to help HARASHIMA throw other opponents out of the ring but that backfired and Ueno threw out HARASHIMA to safely leave the match. Hirata tried to lure Toru Owashi and Yoshimura over the top rope but they used the rope to slingshot Hirata to the floor. The referee decided both Owashi and Yoshimura eliminated him so they were both safe. That left HARASHIMA and Hirata as the final two. Hirata did his best but HARASHIMA came out with the win. Hirata’s punishment is he must be banished from Japan! DDT then announced that newcomer “brother” KAZUKI will take Hirata’s place on tomorrow’s show. Hirata complained but was carried out of the ring by a group of wrestlers with pantyhose over their heads.

All of those wrestlers were from the match before where they all had to wear pantyhose while they fought. There is a new generation of wrestlers trying this match for the first time so Makoto Oishi taught them how to wear it. Danshoku Dieno also explained to them that it is ridiculous but if you do something ridiculous with all of your might then you will get funny faces out of it. Muscle Sakai was added to the match because Super Sasadango Machine left his costume behind at the hotel he is staying at. Akito came out and refused to allow the pantyhose match to go ahead. That joke is for kids and is not needed for the new DDT where he is the Vice President. Yukinori Matsui wanted to watch the match and convinced Akito to let it go on because the pantyhose joke represents everything about DDT. Akito agreed but only if everyone wrestled the match seriously. Everyone couldn’t help but laugh at the unintentional funny faces beneath the pantyhose. Akito kept complaining but it kept happening so he pulled Daisuke Kiso out of the ring. Matsui ran in to replace him but did so wearing pantyhose over his head. Hisaya Imabayashi tried to block him but Matsui gave him an Atomic Drop and allowed the match to finish. Akito learned his lesson after seeing that Matsui still did his job seriously underneath the pantyhose. He apologized to the wrestlers and promised the pantyhose match will be brought back.

Jun Akiyama is getting to know more of the DDT roster. This time Kazusada Higuchi and Tomomitsu Matsunaga wanted to test their skills against him. Akiyama and Higuchi got into a Chop battle. Matsunaga put Akiyama in a Scorion Deathlock until Mizuki Watase broke it up. Akiyama slowed down Matsunaga’s momentum with Knee Strikes and finished him off with the Exploder. Watase noted that he is Higuchi’s opponent in the King Of DDT 1st Round.

Daisuke Sasaki hadn’t stopped drinking from the day before. He carried out a load of cans and wanted to drink while he wrestled. Akito told him to stop because he didn’t want to already have a scandal on his hands after becoming Vice President. Sasaki promised to drink responsibly with Chris Brookes. He also promised not to give Mad Paulie beer because he is only 4 years old. Think of the match as a Captain’s Drink Tag Match! Akito agreed but soon regretted it. Sasaki and Brookes got too drunk to wrestle properly. Brookes then forced Paulie to drink a beer. Paulie said it was tasty and continued to drink until Sasaki knocked the beer out of his hands. Paulie cried and attacked Sasaki, then attacked Akito & Brookes, then attacked Matsui causing the match to get thrown out. A drunk Paulie flattened Sasaki with a Body Attack and pinned his tag partner thinking the match was still going on.

Hideki Okatani eagerly attacked Soma Takao before the bell rang. He did a Running Neckbreaker and a Running Bulldog but his Northern Lights Suplex was blocked. From there, Takao took over until Okatani hit the Northern Lights for a nearfall. Takao struck him with the Running Elbow Butt and got the three count with the Diving Foot Stomp.

4. Jun Akiyama & Hideki Okatani defeated Naomi Yoshimura & Keigo Nakamura when Okatani pinned Nakamura with the Double Arm Suplex (10:38).
5. Saki Akai Produce Match – NEO Biishiki-gun New Member Open Audition: Sakisama, Yukio Saint Laurent & Jiroko “Kawaii” Kuroshio defeated Kazuko Hirata, Margaret☆Owashi, Francoise☆Ihashi, Generic Martha & Kazuko Higuchi when Laurent submitted Hirata with the YSL (7:17).
6. Konosuke Takeshita Produce Match – DDT Sauna Club Vs DDT Legend Army!: Sanshiro Takagi, MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Shunma Katsumata & Yuki Ueno when Toba pinned Ueno with the Backhand Blow (16:32).

DDT was met with a blast from the past at the end of Beer Garden-Like Day 1. Sanshiro Takagi reunited with former alumni MIKAMI & Tanomusaku Toba to defeat the DDT Sauna Club. Takagi called for the match to go Lucha style but his attempt at a Flying Cross Chop failed against Yuki Ueno. He was still eager to fight the younger wrestlers, particularly egging on Konosuke Takeshita to hit him harder. Meanwhile The Suicide Boyz turned back the clock and were too much for the Sauna Club to handle. MIKAMI hit his Swanton Bomb on Ueno then wiped out Takeshita & Shunma Katsumata with a Tornillo dive. Toba then took the stage and pinned Ueno with the Backhand Blow.

After the match MIKAMI said he doesn’t know how long it’s been since the DDT Legend Army fought together. Takagi muttered that he and Toba don’t even follow him on Twitter. MIKAMI was aware Ueno holds a title but he didn’t know which. When he was told it’s the KO-D Tag Team Titles. This led to The Suicide Boyz challenging Nautilus to a title match. They agreed to have the match on 15th August. When they left, the Sauna Club regrouped. Takeshita was disappointed to lose his own Produce Match. He underestimated Toba’s Punch, Takagi’s Stunner and MIKAMI’s School Boy. Not even MAO standing around at ringside with lignum vitae leaves helped them. He cheered up when he realised it is only the first day of these Beer Garden replacement shows. “The hotter the sauna, the better. The hotter the match, the better. 1, 2, Sauna!”

The NEO Biishiki-gun unit was looking for new members so Sakisama held an audition. How did she get from Paris to Tokyo under the current global situation? I dunno, the Channel Tunnel? Anyway, one by one the contestants were judged by Sakisama & Yukio Saint Laurent. First was Generic Martha. She kind of looked like Martha but she wasn’t Martha, so pass. Next was the duo of Margaret☆Owashi and Francoise☆Ihashi. They danced to “Lonely Magical Fish” by Wink. It only left Sakisama & Laurent confused. Pirako was next and she got a nod from Laurent. Last was Kazuko Higuchi who was very shy. Sakisama was left even more confused by the end. There were 50,000 applicants and these were the best five out of all of them? No matter, the 5 Way Match to decide who joins NEO Biishiki-gun would go ahead. That is until Pirako interrupted her. She was actually Kazuko Hirata in disguise! She is here to lead T2HiJoshi and destroy NEO Biishiki-gun! She had one more surprise too. “HELLO” started playing and out came Jiroko “Kawaii” Kuroshio! She took a long time doing her entrance but her beauty grabbed Sakisama’s attention. Would she like to join NEO Biishiki-gun? Sure! The match turned into a 3 Vs 5 Handicap and NEO Biishiki-gun were victorious in the end. Afterwards Kuroshio has a confession to make. She wasn’t here for the audition. She was here to find her separated sister, Kazuki Higuchi! The two hugged while Laurent snuck up behind Higuchi and knocked her out with a syringe.

Jun Akiyama got to tussle with Naomi Yoshimura in their tag match. He approves of how energetic Yoshimura is. Hideki Okatani got the pin on Keigo Nakamura but that didn’t stop Nakamura from getting face to face with Akiyama after the match. Backstage Nakamura said he is losing momentum because he is Okatani’s senior but is losing to him more and more.

The most dangerous match in pro wrestling was used in DDT for the first time. Hell In A Blue Sheet! It’s so dangerous that nobody can see what happens under that blue sheet. A rule was added where if the match lasted five minutes then the sheet would be lifted and storyteller Hisanoyuki Imabayashi would tell his annual ghost story. Akito was proudly introduced as a CyberFight Vice President. He exchanged business cards with Muscle Sakai during the match. Shota brought in a microphone to call what was happening under the sheet. Whatever happened under there brought all the wrestlers to tears. The match reached the time limit and Imabayashi began his story. He pointed at every wrestler one by one, making them faint out of fright. Antonio Honda stopped him to point out he was making the Gongitsune hand sign. He figured out it is the Golden Tailed Kitsune! Honda convinced the spirit to use him as his new host and he used his new power to defeat Imabayashi! And that was how Antonio Honda learned the Gongitsune.

DAMNATION keep getting new signboards and they keep getting broken over heads. Soma Takao aimed for Chris Brookes but he ducked and Mad Paulie got hit instead. Brookes rolled over Paulie while HARASHIMA threw Takao out.

The Chanko KISS match is where tags only count when one wrestler kisses his tag partner in the crotch. Yukio Naya did not want to do that with Yuki Iino so the 3 Way Tag was turned into a 6-Man Tag with them on opposite sides.
