4i. KO-D Openweight Title: Kazuki Hirata (c) (1) defeated Akito (14) with the Miracle One Shot Cradle (5:51).
*V1 for Kazuki Hirata. Akito cashes in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Arm Cover.
5. Special Single Match: Kazusada Higuchi defeated Daichi Sato with a Lariat (12:10).
6. Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON defeated HARASHIMA & Yuya Koroku when MAO submitted Koroku with the Modified Just Face Lock (19:54).

Part two of the Sapporo challenge between Kazuki Hirata and Akito took place today. At the start of the show Hirata cooled down any attempt by Akito to cash in his Right To Challenge Arm Cover by telling him the snack bar was busy and needed his help. Also neither of them were dressed to wrestle by this point so the setting wasn’t right to suddenly have a KO-D Openweight Title cash in. When it was time for their match to begin Akito already had a commanding lead and increased it even further. With no risk of losing in the time remaining, Akito brought out a roll of masking tape and trapped Hirata to the ropes. With no escape and nobody coming to rescue Hirata, Akito was finally able to cash in his Arm Cover and get his KO-D Title shot right now!

Hirata was freed and the match was changed into a title bout. Hirata pulled off the upset by countering a Figure 4 Leg Lock into the Miracle One Shot Cradle for the pinfall out of nowhere. Due to the unusual circumstances, Akito had won the series fourteen points to one but because of the timing of the cash in only the final fall counted towards the KO-D Title. That means even though Akito won the series, he lost the title match and Hirata remains the champion! Hirata also now officially has a proper title defence under his belt for this reign. Akito accepted the result because he learned that although Hirata has not gotten any stronger since becoming the champ, he now has something he wants to protect to the best of his abilities. Akito can respect that.

KIMIHIRO wasn’t present for the Sapporo doubleshot which put Strange Love Connection in trouble on the second day. MAO & KANON won in the main event and had to give the show closing speech. Without KIMIHIRO there to do the talking for them, they struggled. However there were able to convince some fans to enter the ring and celebrate the win while MAO announced DDT would come back to Sapporo next year for Golden Week.

6. Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno defeated Hideki Okatani by Referee Stoppage with the Blackout Sleeper (14:14).
*Yuki Ueno wins Hideki Okatani’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Arm Cover.
7. DDT Extreme Title – Stop The Annoying Streamers!! Unicast Death Match!: To-y (c) defeated Ilusion with the Kojima Impact (16:32).
*V3 for To-y.

Since Ilusion has become such an annoying streamer lately, To-y decided to use the concept for their DDT Extreme Title Match. Both wrestlers decided to film themselves live by using Wrestle Universe’s Universe Cast feature and the goal was to either beat the opponent on-stream or find a way to switch the opponent’s stream off! Yukinori Matsui had to inspect the phones constantly to make sure the streams were still live but he ended up getting flattened by To-y’s Diving Cross Body after Ilusion pulled him into the way. Ilusion and MJ Paul then attacked To-y so the rest of the D GENERATIONS wrestlers ran down to the ring with phones in their hands to harass Ilusion by filming him up close. Ilusion lost his cool from the distraction and became so flustered he missed the Swanton Bomb. He then smashed a chair over To-y’s head but that only psyched To-y up into giving him the Kojima Impact for the victory. To-y thanked the others after the match and told fans his goal now is to be the DDT Extreme Champion going into Sumo Hall on 3rd November. This is because he wants to defend the title against the person who most symbolises the championship. Meanwhile Ilusion swore to never use Wrestle Universe again and will film his matches for Youtube from now on.

Are we now in a place where Yuki Ueno can give Kazuki Hirata a taste of his own medicine? Ueno defeated Hideki Okatani to win his Right To Challenge Arm Cover. He used the Blackout Sleeper to win although Okatani passed out rather than gave up. Okatani backstage blamed Hirata for this because Hirata keeps running away from the wrestlers trying to cash in their title shots. It delayed Okatani from cashing in his prize long enough for him not to have it anymore!

Akito is one of the wrestlers who really wants to cash in his shot but Hirata keeps convincing him not to. Today’s excuse is the two of them have singles matches against each other today and tomorrow so it would make more sense for Akito to use his title shot tomorrow. The rules for the two matches are the points from all the pinfalls will be added together and whoever has the higher total score after tomorrow will be the winner. Akito won it easily scoring seven points to zero despite Hirata’s attempts to make it look like Akito strangled him unconscious using the KO-D Openweight Title to reduce his opponent’s score. When the 10 minute time limit expired, Akito tried to cash in again but Hirata suddenly announced he is holding a photograph session which means the merch table will be understaffed if Akito continued to wrestle. Akito didn’t want that to happen so he decided to hold off on the title shot until tomorrow.

KO-D 6-Man Tag Titles Vacated, Arisu Is 10000 Days Old, Weekend Cards Ahead

September 12, 2025

Sorry Yukio Naya, I know it’s your anniversary and all but “Enter Sandman” is “Enter Sandman”, you know. Also makes sense to have that match close the show because it’s going to cause a mess inside Shinjuku FACE.

Kazuki Hirata at this show must choose who he will defend the KO-D Openweight Title against at Korakuen Hall on 28th September.

The contract signing for the next DDT Extreme Title defence will take place before the show. To-y will reveal the match rules to Ilusion during it.

GANBARE☆PRO “SPECIAL MATCH”, 20/09/2025
Saitama Boat Race Toda

1. Yuna Manase, YuuRI & Banny Oikawa Vs Kyoko Inoue, Sumika Yanagawa & Misa Kagura
2. Keisuke Ishii & Shota Kawakami Vs Mizuki Watase & Sentaro Motojima
3. Yumehito Imanari & Seiya Morohashi Vs Gota Ihashi & Jake Braddock
4. Tatsuhito Taikawa, Choun Shiryu & Tyson Maeguchi Vs Shinichiro Tominaga, PSYCHO & Takuya Wada
5. Minoru Suzuki & Shuichiro Katsumura Vs Ken Ohka & Munetatsu Nakamura

It’s soon time for another day at the boat races. Ganbare☆Pro will be hosting matches throughout the day in between the races with some guests and other wrestlers making first time appearances. Minoru Suzuki and Kyoko Inoue are the big names to draw in spectators.

This is probably just a mistranslation on GanPro’s end but I’m confused over one of the wrestlers appearing in Match #3. On the promotional material it looks like Jake Braddock, an American independent wrestler who has been based in Japan for the last couple of years. However GanPro are calling him Jack Bulldog on the match image and have his name written as ジェイク・ブルドック instead of ジェーク・ブラドック. The latter is what the other promotions who book him use (GanPro have also photoshopped his tattoos away). For the moment I’ll just treat it an inconsistent thing and continue writing the name Jake Braddock until this gets cleared up.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GARAFES DASH!! ITABASHI LEGEND”, 23/09/2025
TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi

1. Miu Watanabe, Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami Vs Raku, Arisu Endo & Kira Summer

The Garafes idol concerts that usually happen in Ueno Park are now holding one inside the TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi. Since the wrestling ring in there is permanently installed that means it won’t be moved so Tokyo Joshi Pro decided they can use it to host a wrestling match since The Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) are going to perform there anyway. Arisu Endo and Kira Summer get to join in the fun.

DDT “DRAMATIC INFINITY 2025 ~3 HOUR SPECIAL~”, 28/09/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs Yuki Ueno, To-y & Kaisei Takechi
2. DDT Universal Title: Minoru Suzuki (c) Vs Takeshi Masada
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Kazuki Hirata (c) Vs X

It was announced on Wednesday that Daisuke Sasaki vacated the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles on behalf of DAMNATION T.A because of his fractured rib injury. DDT decided the next champions will be crowned on 28th September. Hideki Okatani & Ilusion get the chance to reclaim the belts with MJ Paul filling in for the injured Sasaki. Their oppoenents will be Yuki Ueno & To-y along with the anticipated return of Kaisei Takechi! This will be the first title match for DDT’s new star as he continues his alliance with The 37KAMIINA.

Kyoraku Kyomei Vs Ober Eats Goes Overseas, Team 100% Yuki, TOGO FAMILY

September 5, 2025

DDT “D GENERATIONS 6 ~DDT MEET & GREET & FIGHT SEPTEMBER~”, 06/09/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Six Major Single Match I: Munetatsu Nakamura Vs Hinata Kasai
2. Six Major Single Match II: Ilusion Vs Rukiya
3. Six Major Single Match III: Ryoma Tsukamoto Vs Daichi Sato
4. Six Major Single Match IV: Hideki Okatani Vs Kazuma Sumi
5. Six Major Single Match V: To-y Vs Takeshi Masada
6. Six Major Single Match VI: Yuya Koroku Vs Yuki Ishida

A very busy weekend of shows ahead. Let’s start off with the match order for the D GENERATIONS show that will kick everything off.

The current Right To Challenge Arm Cover holders are Yuki Iino (Red), Hideki Okatani (Blue) and Yuya Koroku (Green).

DDT “YOKOHAMA BAY☆CLUTCH”, 06/09/2025
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. Naomi Yoshimura & Tomomitsu Matsunaga Vs Rukiya & Hinata Kasai
2. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, HARASHIMA & Yuki Ishida Vs Shigehiro Irie, Soma Takao & Kazuma Sumi
3. Hideki Okatani, Ilusion & MJ Paul Vs KANON, KANON & Daichi Sato
4. Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Jun Akiyama Vs Yuki Ueno, To-y & Yuya Koroku
5. Special Tag Match: Minoru Suzuki & Shinya Aoki Vs Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada
6. Special 3 Way Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Antonio Honda

The card has been changed around a bit because Akito has aggravated an old injury of his and will not be at the show tomorrow. Tomomitsu Matsunaga will come in to take his place.

A big task awaits for Takeshi Masada. It’s bad enough he pissed off Minoru Suzuki when he challenged him for the DDT Universal Title but before that match happens he also has to deal with Shinya Aoki in the meantime.

Yuki Iino will be hold an emergency press conference at the show tomorrow. I don’t expect the news to be drastic like him leaving the company anytime soon just because he’s already in the middle of a storyline and holds a few prizes that DDT would need take off of him if he was to leave for somewhere else. Maybe he just wants to announce when he is cashing in his title shot.

DDT “FIGHTING BEER GARDEN 2025 IN SHINJUKU ~EXTRA TIME~”, 12/09/2025
Shinjuku FACE

1. Akito, Soma Takao & Rukiya Vs Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida & Hinata Kasai
2. Hideki Okatani, Ilusion & MJ Paul Vs To-y, Yuya Koroku & Kazuma Sumi
3. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Takeshi Masada
4. Our LariPro ’25: HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii & MAO Vs Yuki Ueno, Toru Owashi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga
5. Enter Sandman Match: Kazuki Hirata Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs Chris Brookes Vs KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Antonio Honda
6. Yukio Naya 8th Anniversary ~ Special Tag Match: Yukio Naya & Kazusada Higuchi Vs Yuki Iino & Jun Akiyama

The addition of KANON to the Enter Sandman Match also means KIMIHIRO will be getting involved too. If there was ever a time for someone to try rapping over Metallica, this would be it.

Another match where Masada has to fight Aoki. That better sharpen him up for Suzuki pretty good.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “I WANT TO SAVE EVERYONE WITH A SMILE ~ ARISU’S AIZUWAKAMATSU GRAND MARCH”, 13/09/2025
Fukushima Aizuwakamatsu City Tsurugajo Gymnasium

1. Raku & Pom Harajuku (w/ Akabe) Vs HIMAWARI & Ren Konatsu (w/ Kappa Green)
2. Kaya Toribami Vs Uta Takami
3. Hyper Misao Vs Wakana Uehara
4. Miu Watanabe & Toga Vs Mahiro Kiryu & Chika Nanase
5. Mizuki Vs Mifu Ashida
6. Aja Kong, Suzume & Shino Suzuki Vs Rika Tatsumi, Yuki Aino & Kira Summer
7. Arisu Endo & Yuki Arai Vs Miyu Yamashita & Haru Kazashiro

On the same day this show happens, Shoko Nakajima and Yuki Kamifuku will be wrestling each other for the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Title over in America. When MLW made the decision to book that match, Tokyo Joshi Pro came up with an idea to have the other halves Kyoraku Kyomei and Ober Eats face each other back in Japan. That means Hyper Misao and Wakana Uehara are going to clash one on one in an international buildup for the Princess Tag Team Titles!

One of the novelties that happen when TJPW come to Arisu Endo’s hometown is the local mascots get involved in the show. Akabe and Kappa Green have both featured on these shows in the past but never at the same time. Until next weekend that is.

5. Sapporo Specialty Trial Of Two Single Matches Again – Round 1!: Kazuki Hirata Vs Akito
6. Special Single Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Hideki Okatani
7. DDT Extreme Title: To-y (c) Vs Ilusion

The Sapporo Specialty Trial has become more important now that Kazuki Hirata is the KO-D Openweight Champion. It looks like Akito will be in good shape by the time these two matches take place.

TJPW isn’t the only place to have a trio of Yuki’s teaming together. DDT can do that too. Behold… Team 100% Yuki!

BASARA “BASARA 288 ~UTAGE~”, 17/09/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. 3 Way Tag Match: Isami Kodaka & Takumi Tsukamoto Vs Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA Vs Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken
2. Ryota Nakatsu, Daichi Kazato & Guts Ishijima Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi, Masato Kamino & Tsutomu Oosugi
3. Takeru Inoue Vs Tomoki Hatano
4. Takato Nakano Vs Gouma Ryu
5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Kengo Mashimo & Ayumu Honda (c) Vs SAGAT & Minoru Fujita

Preparations for the upcoming Iron Fist Tag Tournament are in full gear at the next BASARA show. Takeru Inoue and Tomoki Hatano will be teaming up for the tournament but they will wrestle each other here first. Several other teams will be in action too.

At the last show Masato Kamino teamed up with WizRYU under a mask as Body Slam Machine. Now Gouma Ryu had nothing to do with that but the new unit is named after him so he better be careful if Takato Nakano thinks he is taking away his Aijin Tag partner.

Daichi Kazato gets his wish to team up with Guts Ishijima. His tournament partner Ryota Nakatsu is on the team too so at least there is someone normal there for Ishijima to get along with.

DDT “CHARISMANIAxMANIAxMANIA”, 02/10/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

2. Daisuke Sasaki 20th Anniversary Match: Daisuke Sasaki & El Desperado Vs Shuji Ishikawa & Antonio Honda

At the moment it’s unclear is Daisuke Sasaki’s rib injury will force him out of his own show. But at least on the undercard we get Dick Togo summoning several of his proteges together for a big tag match against DDT’s all stars. Yasu Urano, KUBITO & Diego all have Togo to thank for various part of their wrestling careers.

DDT promised this week that a special guest will be at “ULTIMATE PARTY 2025” and they revealed it to be Tetsuya Endo. He’ll be returning to DDT for one night only before going back to finish his year long excursion at NOAH.

6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida Vs Satoshi Kojima, Antonio Honda & Yuya Koroku

The first Right To Challenge Arm Cover has been used and bloody hell has it changed directions for DDT going into Sumo Hall later this year. Kazuki Hirata is now the KO-D Openweight Champion but there are still three Arm Covers remaining. They currently belong to Soma Takao (Red), Hideki Okatani (Blue) and Yuya Koroku (Green).

The card has been changed around a bit due to Daisuke Sasaki being injured. He is out of action for a while with a fractured rib.

DDT “SUMIRE SEPTEMBER LOVE 2025”, 14/09/2025

1. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Naya & Yuki Ishida Vs Jun Akiyama, Noriyuki Yoshida & Daichi Sato
2. Sapporo Specialty Trial Of Two Single Matches Again – Round 1!: Akito Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Special 3 Way Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Danshoku Dieno Vs MAO & KANON Vs Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada
4. DDT Extreme Title: To-y (c) Vs Ilusion

Ilusion has taken up belt collecting as a hobby. You usually see him carrying all three KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles that currently belong to DAMNATION T.A. Next he wants to add the DDT Extreme Title to his collection so To-y better give it to him!

GANBARE☆PRO “LES AMANTS DU PONT-NEUF 2025”, 15/09/2025
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Sentaro Motojima
2. Munetatsu Nakamura Vs Tyson Maeguchi

4. Mizuki Watase & Shota Kawakami Vs Takumi Tsukamoto & Takeru Inoue

6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title Next Challenger Decision Match: Ken Ohka Vs Shuichiro Katsumura

The top championship in Ganbare☆Pro now belongs to Masaaki Mochizuki and his priorities are currently with Dragongate. He wants Shuichiro Katsumura to be his first challenger but Ken Ohka is pleading to get the title match instead. The answer to this is to have a No. 1 Contender’s match while Mochizuki is back in his home promotion.

GanPro also continues their rivalries with FREEDOMS and BASARA. The FREEDOMS match is getting more tense while things seem to be under control with BASARA.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. 24: EVERYTHING ENDS”, 16/09/2025
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa

1. 3 Way Tag Team Handicap Match: Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda Vs Charli Evans & Everett Connors Vs Dark King Ueki, Munek & Princess Ram
2. Special Single Match: Kota Sekifuda Vs MAO

It seems that Kota Sekifuda made a good first impression at “FUCKED UP FEST 2025” so he is getting another big match at Baka Gaijin + Friends. This time he is going to experience fighting MAO in his element!

Two new friends join the fray and they might be familiar to fans from certain parts of the world. Charli Evans is from Australia but usually calls the UK wrestling scene her home. She and Chris Brookes had many matches against each other before the pandemic. Her husband Everett Connors made a few GCW appearances coming out of the pandemic before moving his career to Australia with Evans.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “WRESTLE PRINCESS VI”, 20/09/2025
Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

1. Aja Kong Vs HIMAWARI
2. International Princess Title Match: Arisu Endo Vs Jada Stone
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao (c) V Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara

This is a big task for HIMAWARI. She has to go fight Aja Kong all by herself!

The full card will be revealed tomorrow.

DDT “DRAMATIC EXPO 2025”, 23/09/2025
Osaka Namba SkyO Convention Hall

1. KO-D Tag Team Titles: Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya (c) Vs To-y & Yuya Koroku

Koroku might need to hold onto his RTC Arm Cover for as long as he can because that’s the only reason why he and To-y are getting a KO-D Tag Team Titles shot. Yuki Iino has good memories of using the Right To Challenge prize and he wants to take the one Koroku currently has. He says he will cancel the match if Koroku loses it before then but I don’t know if he or Yukio Naya have the power to do that. The Apex are confident thet can keep the tag titles either way.

DDT “DRAMATIC INFINITY 2025 ~3 HOUR SPECIAL~”, 28/09/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. DDT Universal Title: Minoru Suzuki (c) Vs Takeshi Masada

There seems to be no one out there brave enough to take the DDT Universal Title from Minoru Suzuki. Well, Takeshi Masada thinks he can do it and only got the match because he dared to accuse Suzuki of running away from a challenge. For that Suzuki is now threatening to kill Masada in the ring!

DDT “ULTIMATE PARTY 2025”, 03/11/2025
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Sanshiro Takagi Return Match – Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Hinata Kasai
2. Special Tag Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA & Kaisei Takechi Vs X & X
3. Dramatic Dream Match: Zack Sabre Jr. Vs Chris Brookes

We’re not done yet with Chris Brookes’s reunion with Zack Sabre Jr. They realized it has been years since they last had a singles match against each other and it hasn’t been done in Japan yet. So why not do one at Sumo Hall for DDT’s biggest show of the year? Sabre is still the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion too. But for how long…

It will be around a year and four months that have gone by when Sanshiro Takagi finally returns to wrestle again. He only admitted recently that one of the reasons he was out of action for so long was because he was diagnosed with angina and wasn’t allowed to even do a proper workout by his doctor until he recovered. He also sees something special with Hinata Kasai and specifically chose him to be his opponent at Sumo Hall. Kasai understands how important the match is especially because it will be the opener. But he isn’t sweating over the result. In his eyes Takagi doesn’t have a lot in the tank in his current state so Kasai thinks he has a really good chance of winning his first match in Sumo Hall!

6 Matches For the 6th Show, Beer Garden Favorites Reappear, Akito Vs Hirata Sapporo Series Again

August 21, 2025

DDT “D GENERATIONS 6 ~DDT MEET & GREET & FIGHT SEPTEMBER~”, 06/09/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Six Major Single Match!: Munetatsu Nakamura Vs Hinata Kasai
2. Six Major Single Match!: Ilusion Vs Rukiya
3. Six Major Single Match!: Hideki Okatani Vs Kazuma Sumi
4. Six Major Single Match!: Yuya Koroku Vs Yuki Ishida
5. Six Major Single Match!: Ryoma Tsukamoto Vs Daichi Sato
6. Six Major Single Match!: To-y Vs Takeshi Masada

The sixth D GENERATIONS show is going to be built around six singles matches. Sounds simple enough. It will also be the first time both Rukiya and Hinata Kasai will get to wrestle on the sub-brand.

DDT “FIGHTING BEER GARDEN 2025 IN SHINJUKU ~EXTRA TIME~”, 12/09/2025
Shinjuku FACE

1. Our LariPro ’25: HARASHIMA, Keisuke Ishii & MAO Vs Yuki Ueno, Toru Owashi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga
2. Enter Sandman Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Chris Brookes Vs Kazuki Hirata Vs Antonio Honda
3. Yukio Naya 8th Anniversary ~ Special Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Naya Vs Yuki Iino & Jun Akiyama

You can’t do an entire year of Beer Garden shows without the Enter Sandman and Lariat Pro matches on at least one of them! Even if the song gets dubbed over on Wrestle Universe, the Enter Sandman match is exactly what it sounds like. What if DDT did an entire match based around The Sandman’s entrance? What likely won’t be dubbed though is the LariPro match. They usually get away with playing famous puroresu songs of Lariat users, Elbow Strike users, Yakuza Kick users, etc.

DDT “SUMIRE SEPTEMBER LOVE 2025”, 14/09/2025
Hokkaido Sapporo Sun Plaza

1. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Naya & Yuki Ishida Vs Jun Akiyama, Noriyuki Yoshida & Daichi Sato
2. Sapporo Specialty Trial Of Two Single Matches Again – Round 1!: Akito Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Special 3 Way Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Danshoku Dieno Vs MAO & KANON Vs Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada

Back in April Akito and Kazuki Hirata experimented with doing a two match iron man series on back to back shows in Sapporo. They enjoyed doing it and had some time to work out some kinks so it is happening again for a second go around.

Hokkaido locals Tomoya and Ryuto will be on the show alongside Noriyuki Yoshida who already has both of his matches for the weekend booked.

DDT “SUMIRE MELTY LOVE 2025”, 15/09/2025
Hokkaido Sapporo Sun Plaza

1. Special Tag Match: Tomoya & Noriyuki Yoshida Vs Yukio Naya & Hinata Kasai
2. Sapporo Specialty Trial Of Two Single Matches Again – Round 2!: Akito Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON Vs HARASHIMA & Yuya Koroku

Will be interesting to see what direction Kasai will go as a pro wrestler in his first few months. I don’t so much mean his wrestling style but more like how much charisma does he have from the get go?

Ryuto will be on this show too.

3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA, Tomoya & Noriyuki Yoshida defeated Danshoku Dieno, Yuya Koroku & Kazuma Sumi when HARASHIMA pinned Sumi with the Somato (10:24).
4. SCHADENFREUDE International Vs DAMNATION T.A!: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada defeated Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul when Masada pinned Paul with a School Boy (9:35).
5. Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & To-y defeated Jun Akiyama, Yukio Naya & Daichi Sato when Ueno submitted Sato with the Blackout Sleeper (16:20).
6. STRANGE LOVE CONNECTION Vs Harimao!: MAO & KANON defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Ishida when MAO pinned Ishida with the Iai Kick (17:28).

KIMIHIRO cannot get to DDT quickly enough because Strange Love Connection do not know how to close out the shows without him. When MAO & KANON won in the main event they struggled to put together a good babyface promo for their victory speech. KANON tried putting over the local food in Hokkaido and asked MAO if they should talk about hearts or something. Shunma Katsumata had to interrupt them to get the promo back on track so the show could end and everyone could go home. MAO & KANON still couldn’t figure out what to say so Katsumata ended the speech for them.

Tomoya is currently a city council member of a nearby municipality in Hokkaido so was allowed to make a ruling for his match. There is a wrestler in the match who is known for exposing his backside in public and Tomoya would not tolerate it. Therefore he prohibited the wrestlers from exposing their butts during the match. That didn’t stop Danshoku Dieno from getting his costume pulled down and forcing the other wrestlers to get thrown face first into his backside anyway.

The second half of the Sapporo Marathon Death Match took place with Akito and Kazuki Hirata starting off tied at 4 points each. Hirata thought things were going to turn out differently today but Akito scored 8 uninterrupted points in a row by either beating Hirata with submission moves or by putting on the Hirata GO! Glasses. Hirata was also counted out at one point and had to be guided back into the ring by HARASHIMA. Hirata then came up with a plan to trick the ref into thinking Akito was cheating so points would be deducted from his score. The plan worked with Yukinori Matsui tricked into thinking Akito was doing Low Blows and attacking Hirata with a chair. Hirata also completed his dance to score 5 points and take the lead for the first time this weekend. However during a ref bump Akito placed a chair over his head, tricking Matsui into thinking Hirata cheated right before the match ended. The DQ meant Akito won by a single point once the total scores were counted up. Akito thinks the stipulation was a fun idea and would like each region to have their own unique match rules. Hirata thought it was stupid so Akito told him to come up with his own ideas for when DDT returns to Sapporo this September. He’d rather leave Match #2 on the card to the Hirata’s of the world anyway.

Yuni got a little bit of payback on Ilusion for losing the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles to him yesterday. Today in a singles match Yuni overcame Ilusion’s cheating by using one of the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Title belts as a shield to block a Low Blow. Yuni then went on to win with a Swinging DDT. He challenged Ilusion to a rematch between NωA Jr. and DAMNATION T.A for the 6-Man Tag Titles but Ilusion said it is way too early to do that. Ilusion also claimed that Yuni’s win today is tainted because he had to cheat to beat him. Those fake idols don’t have any Rock ‘N’ Roll in them! The situation is only going to get more confusing because Shunma Katsumata is already trying to get The 37KAMIINA the next title shot even though he is also with NωA Jr.

Hokkaido Sapporo Sun Plaza
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion defeated Shunma Katsumata, Yuni & Kazuma Sumi (c) when Ilusion pinned Yuni with a Jackknife Pin (12:37).
*NωA Jr. fail in V1. DAMNATION T.A become the 58th KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions!
2. Sapporo’s Famous Trial Singles Best Of Two Matches – First Round!! ~ Sapporo Marathon Style Death Match: Akito (4) Vs Kazuki Hirata (4) ended in a Draw (10:00).
2a. Akito (1) submitted Kazuki Hirata (0) with an Ankle Hold (0:21).
2b. Akito (2) submitted Kazuki Hirata (0) with an Ankle Hold (1:43).
2c. Kazuki Hirata (1) defeated Akito (2) by wearing the Hirata GO! Glasses (6:23).
2d. Kazuki Hirata (2) defeated Akito (2) by wearing the Hirata GO! Glasses (6:28).

2f. Kazuki Hirata (3) defeated Akito (3) by wearing the Hirata GO! Glasses (8:01).
2g. Akito (4) defeated Kazuki Hirata (3) by wearing the Hirata GO! Glasses (8:47).
2h. Kazuki Hirata (4) pinned Akito (4) with a School Boy (9:58).
3. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Noriyuki Yoshida & Daichi Sato defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Tomoya & Yuki Ishida when Akiyama pinned Ishida with the Exploder Suplex (10:56).
4. MAO & KANON defeated Yukio Naya & Yuya Koroku when KANON pinned Koroku with the Modified Facebuster (11:01).
5. Special Single Match: Danshoku Dieno defeated HARASHIMA with the Gaydo Clutch (12:33).
6. SCHADENFREUDE International Vs The 37KAMIINA!: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada defeated Yuki Ueno & To-y when Brookes pinned To-y with the Praying Mantis Bomb (20:53).

At the end of the show Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada announced that DDT will return to Sapporo Sun Plaza for a doubleshot on 14th & 15th September. The two of them wanted SCHADENFREUDE International to close out the show properly but they were missing Antonio Honda & Masahiro Takanashi. So Brookes asked for someone in the audience to join them in the ring. A fan named Megumi from Asahikawa in Hokkaido took him up on the offer and led the group’s catchphrase to end the show.

Danshoku Dieno seems to be feeling refreshed by his recent change in wrestling style. He was able to beat HARASHIMA fair and square without having to do too many lewd things. He still pulled down his costume to do the Gaydo Clutch but other than that Dieno’s victory was pretty clean. He admits he’s never had this many matches where he’s been able to express so much in the ring. While he is building up momentum with a winning streak he understands this will not be enough to survive against Minoru Suzuki next month. To beat him Dieno will have to chop off Suzuki’s neck! HARASHIMA ended up remembering feelings from the past thanks to this match against “Strong Dieno”. He looks forward to watching Dieno Vs Suzuki. Also if he ever gets a rematch with Dieno he wants it to be at an important event rather than on short notice like today.

KANON is still using the Vietnam Driver II to win matches but he no longer calls it by that name because it originally came from Daisuke Sasaki.

The Sapporo Marathon match between Akito and Kazuki Hirata is only at the halfway point. The second half will take place on tomorrow’s show. Today it ended with a 4-4 draw after 10 minutes. Akito scored points for making Hirata give up while Hirata caught up to him thanks to the points he got for putting on his Hirata GO! glasses. There ended up being a role reversal in the final minute but all it did was cancel each other out. Remember they can also score 5 points for completing the Hirata dance and lose 2 points for making a foul.

According to Ilusion the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles are back where they belong with DAMNATION T.A. After beating NωA Jr. for the titles, Ilusion said the belts are now proof of DAMNATION’s power. He also said “Fuck you” to Sapporo as part of his victory speech. Shunma Katsumata quickly made moves to get a shot at reclaiming the titles. This time however he will do it with the other remaining members of The 37KAMIINA. Both Yuki Ueno & To-y seemed to be unaware that Katsumata just held the titles with NωA Jr. but they still want to be champions so they agree with his plan. However Ueno paused to ask Katsumata if he likes being with NωA Jr. more than The 37KAMIINA? Katsumata said he loves both groups and wants to win the titles with Ueno & To-y.

Before Golden Week begins there is a Tokyo Joshi Pro show happening in Hokkaido tomorrow. Everyone is back in Japan as long as you do not include Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh. They have their own stuff going on in America for a while yet.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GOLDEN WEEK FAN APPRECIATION DAY 「EAST」”, 03/05/2025
Saitama Kasukabe Fureai Cube

Then it’s onto the two Golden Week shows. First up is the one in Saitama where Suzume will defend the International Princess Title against HIMAWARI after everything that was set up last week. Yuki Kamifuku is only defending the VPW Women’s Title against Viva Van so she risks splitting up the Asian Double Crown if she loses.

The three visiting guests from Southeast Asia are all teaming together. What do Matcha, Alexis Lee & Nor ‘Phoenix’ Diana all have in store for TJPW during their stay? I wish SEA Storm actually was their group name. It’s a cool name.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GOLDEN WEEK FAN APPRECIATION DAY 「WEST」”, 05/05/2025
Osaka Edion Arena #2

1. TJPW RUSH! Osaka Special Team Competition 5 Vs 5 Knockout Match: Mizuki, X, X, X & X Vs Suzume, X, X, X & X

6. SETUP All Asia Women’s Title: Raku (c) Vs Nor ‘Phoenix’ Diana
7. Princess Tag Team Titles: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao (c) Vs Matcha & Alexis Lee

It is confirmed that Kyoraku Kyomei are the defending Princess Tag Team Champions going up against Matcha & Lee.

The TJPW RUSH! match was such a success at the end of last year that they’re bringing it back. It is a 5 Vs 5 Team Gauntlet Match with 2 Count Pinfalls and 5 minute time limits. Any match that ends in a time limit draw restarts with 1 Count sudden death rules. This time it is an Osaka themed competition with Mizuki captaining the Takoyaki team and Suzume captaining the Kushikatsu team. Their teammates will first be determined by a lottery and then the captains get to put their match entry in order.

Should any of the RUSH! wrestlers not get to take part because their team wins early, they will be added into Match #5 with all of the Yuki’s. The 3 Way Match will turn into a tag team match if only one person is added. If two are added then it will become a 5 Way Match, three added will be a 6-Woman Tag, etc.
