10. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Shoko Nakajima
A press conference was held between the wrestlers participating in the inter-promotional match between Tokyo Joshi Pro and Ganbare☆Pro. Both Nao Kakuta and Yuna Manase want their teams to put on an exciting match fitting for Sumo Hall. It is the first time Kakuta really feels like she is part of TJPW and she wants to show Manase she is not the same person she was back in Actwres girl’Z. The other members of Team TJPW shared their thoughts. Mahiro Kiryu is keeping her eyes open at the rest of Team Ganpro because she doesn’t know much about them. She does like mahjong though so she wants to win with a high score. Haruna Neko wants to do everything she can as a cat and will scratch everyone. Kaya Toribami admits to being the least experienced girl on the team but reminds everyone that her mask is based on the most ferocious bird in the world, the cassowary. She will learn from her opponents to become strong and deserving of wearing the mask.
The members of Ganbare☆Joshi then spoke. YuuRI is glad to wrestle in Sumo Hall where she discovered pro wrestling in the first place. HARUKAZE described how Ganpro picked her up and gave her friends so the company is an important family to her. She wants to make the name of Ganpro known to everyone. Moeka Haruhi called Manase the Sun of Ganpro while she is the Rainbow. When Manase challenged TJPW in the first place, everyone in Ganjo decided to join her. Just don’t miss the rainbow while you’re busy looking at the sun. Manase wanted her team to show more energy so they started chanting “Ganjo!” over and over. Kakuta told them the blue flame is hotter than the red flame which is why Team TJPW are staying calm in response to them. Manase then gave a passionate rant about wanting their match to have so much heat behind it. The conference ended with a fist bump between the team captains.
Two special guest ring announcers will be at the show. The “Anime Idol Chick” Minami Momochi was Tokyo Joshi’s ring announcer for the first four years of the promotion. Kero Tanaka is the famous ring announcer from the 1980s and 1990s who has worked with TJPW before at some of their previous Ittenyon shows. They will each announce one or two matches on the day.

3. Special Tag Match: Isami Kodaka & Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Yuki Ueno & Shunma Katsumata

8. DDT Universal Title – Hardcore 3 Way Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs Jun Kasai Vs MAO
9. KO-D Openweight Title – Japan Bakery Marketing Presents: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo
Yesterday the celebrity couple of LiLiCo & Ryohei Odai were hard at work training with Akito for LiLiCo’s retirement match. Odai isn’t in shape and had trouble even stretching during the warmups. He then got back pain from running the ropes. Meanwhile LiLiCo had no trouble training for wrestling again and worked out how to move around the ring without putting stress on her injured knees. Akito then put together some double team moves with LiLiCo before setting up an extreme training exercise. He stripped down to his O-back and went into the Hell Gate position on the corner. He explained they need to get used to having their faces thrown into another person’s ass because that is what Pheromones like to do. Suddenly Pheromones themselves appeared and attacked Akito, stripping him naked! Odai couldn’t help because of his back pain and he collapsed with LiLiCo when they tried the double team attack they learned. Pheromones left after a confrontation with LiLiCo where they said they will see her at Sumo Hall. Akito told Odai to train his hips more while LiLiCo promised to win using the love between a husband and wife!
GANBARE☆PRO “FIFTH ELEMENT 2022”, 26/03/2022
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
1. Ganjo Special 6-Woman Tag Match: Yuna Manase, HARUKAZE & YuuRI Vs Moeka Haruhi, Maya Yukihi & Ann Cham
2. ROMANCE DAWN Vs Wrestle Drunkers: Shota & Soma Takao Vs Keisuke Ishii & Tyson Maeguchi
3. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Tatsuhito Takaiwa (c) Vs Shinichiro Tominaga
The so-called strongest amateur pro wrestler in Japan Shinichiro Tominaga is the one who is challenging Tatsuhito Takaiwa next. Takaiwa is trying to raise the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title‘s prestige up to the highest level in Japan and fighting somebody on the level on Tominaga will not help him. However he sees potential in the guy and if Tominaga can live up to that potential it may not be a waste of time after all.
The bond between Keisuke Ishii & Tyson Maeguchi has grown stronger after they fought each other. They want to continue wrestling together as tag partners and opponents so it looks like Wrestle Drunkers are here to stay!
Irie is booked for the show but it will depend on how quickly he recovers from covid. Nobuhiro Shimatani is also advertised to appear.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI 2022 WINTER”, 05/03/2022
Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall
1. Nao Kakuta & Kaya Toribami Vs Mahiro Kiryu & Haruna Neko
2. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao Vs Yuki Aino Vs Arisu Endo
3. Yuki Kamifuku & Hikari Noa Vs Raku & Pom Harajuku
4. Nodoka Tenma Vs Marika Kobashi
5. Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki, Maki Itoh & Suzume Vs Shoko Nakajima, Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe, Yuki Arai & Moka Miyamoto
Tomorrow is kind of the go home show for “GRAND PRINCESS ’22”. There is also a fan club show happening on Sunday but that is usually just fun and games rather than anything serious. Not like Shoko Nakajima is going to beat Miyu Yamashita into a bloody mess to get some last minute heat on that show or anything like that.
DDT “JUDGEMENT 2022 TOUR IN OSAKA”, 13/03/2022
Osaka Suminoe Maikon Hall
1. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Kazuki Hirata Vs Yuji Hino, Bodyguard & Yukio Naya
2. Osaka Specialty Special Single Match: Naomi Yoshimura Vs Chris Brookes
3. Maikon no Kohara Presents Special Survival Tag Match: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & Toui Kojima Vs Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama, Yusuke Okada & Yuya Koroku
Hey, hey, hey, the Survival Tag Match is supposed to be Ganbare☆Pro’s gimmick! It’s a rule that works so well now DDT are giving it a go for The 37KAMIINA Vs BURNING. The stipulation is both teams have four wrestlers and two are chosen to take part in a regular tag team match. When a wrestler is beaten, they are eliminated and get replaced with the next in line. When a team is reduced to one wrestler left they lose because they do not have enough members to do a tag match. So the first team to get three eliminations win. Over the top rope elimination rules are enforced too for this match.
One KO-D Tag Team Champion down, one to go. Chris Brookes has already beaten HARASHIMA so now he is taking on Naomi Yoshimura. You can bet Masahiro Takanashi will get involved again.
Kazuki Hirata returns from covid and has to make up for lost time preparing for his match against Jun Akiyama later this month. Throwing him in there against three heavyweights should move him along nicely. At least he has Eruption backing him up.
DDT “KOMINATO RAILWAY TRAIN PRO WRESTLING”, 02/04/2022
Kominato Railway Goi Station
Back in 2017 DDT held a pro wrestling match inside a moving train travelling from Nakanomachi to Ogawa. They are going to do it again this time partnering with Kominato Railway in Chiba. There will be three matches taking place on the day. One will be held inside a moving train leaving the Goi Station with 32 fans in attendance. The destination is Yoro Valley Station where a wrestling ring is set up for two more matches to begin there minutes after arrival.
Right now only Hiroshi Yamato is advertised to be involved with the DDT wrestlers to be announced. There is obviously fans hoping to see the train lover Raku be able to take part. However Tokyo Joshi Pro has a show going on in Ryogoku KFC Hall that same day at the same time so we have to wait and see where she can go.
TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW INSPIRATION”, 10/04/2022
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
1. Miyu Yamashita Vs Kaya Toribami
2. Yuka Sakazaki Vs Moka Miyamoto
3. Rika Tatsumi Vs Suzume
4. Marika Kobashi & Abdullah Kobayashi Vs SAKI & Antonio Honda
It’s a dream come true for Marika Kobashi! No seriously, it is. Abdullah Kobayashi is her favourite wrestler and part inspiration for her own ring name (The “Ko” in Kobashi refers to Kobayashi). SAKI returns to TJPW for the occasion but I don’t know if she has the same level of admiration for Antonio Honda.
BASARA “BASARA 188 ~GLITTER~”, 12/04/2022
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
Isami Kodaka is getting surgery on his jaw soon and will be out of action during most of April, including the monthly Shin-Kiba 1st RING show. He fractured the left side of his jaw back in 2018 wrestling a cage match against Masashi Takeda. The surgery here is to remove the material that was used to aid with recovery, which I guess is stuff like a plate and screws. His first match back in BASARA after the surgery is scheduled to be on 28th April.

BASARA “BASARA 184 ~GLITTER~”, 22/02/2022
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Withheld
1. Yusuke Kubo defeated Chicharito Shoki with a Gedo Clutch (9:10).
2. Takumi Tsukamoto & Yusuke Kubo defeated Gouma & Yasu Urano when Tsukamoto submitted Gouma with a Crab Hold (10:12).
3. FUMA defeated SAGAT with the Cross Armbreaker (14:30).
4. Isami Kodaka, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita defeated Tsutomu Oosugi, Banana Senga & Fuminori Abe when Shimomura pinned Abe with an Invertied Hurricanrana (14:19).
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi with the V Slider (18:21).
*V3 for Ryota Nakatsu.
The long delayed Union MAX Title match between Ryota Nakatsu and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi finally took place. Nakatsu had a visual pin on Hiroshi with the V Slider but the referee Yuya Okada was knocked out earlier and couldn’t count it. Hiroshi did his best to fight back but Nakatsu hit another V Slider and this time Okada was there to count the pin. Hiroshi admitted he was overconfident but Nakatsu called him the best genius in BASARA.
Suddenly, FUMA ran in and gave Nakatsu a judo throw. He then revealed something he kept secret from everyone all this time. The leader of Asian Kung Fu Revolution is not a Chinese kung fu master! He is in fact Japanese and spent 6 years in a judo club during junior high and high school. Watching the title match made his heart go wild so he wants to challenge Nakatsu for the MAX Title. Nakatsu accepted the challenge but was in for a surprise. For you see, FUMA actually does know kung fu. He just lied to trick Nakatsu into giving him a title shot. FUMA promised he will use the 4,000 years of Chinese history found in his kung fu techniques to beat Nakatsu!
Yusuke Kubo kept yelling at Chicharito Shoki to go back to Chiba while they were fighting. Shoki refused because he wanted to wrestle in front of all the fans in Shin-Kiba 1st RING.

-. Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya (4)
4. Kazusada Higuchi & Hideki Okatani (2)
5. Shuji Kondo & Kazuki Hirata (0)
Here’s the updates for DDT that caused the show above to change more matches. The PCR results for Konosuke Takeshita came back negative. However the illness he does have was diagnosed as a stomach bug and he is not fit to compete on Wednesday. Toui Kojima also tested negative but is still showing flu symptoms so he is off the show too.
Hideki Okatani is identified as a close contact so he cannot be at the show either. That means Eruption must forfeit their Ultimate Tag League match against Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya and eliminates them from the running for 1st place in their block. Okatani is expected to be back for the Tag League finale this Sunday if he doesn’t test positive before then. The lesson here boys and girls is do not run a tournament during a pandemic.

Tokyo Itabashi Green Hall
1. Special Single Match – Wrestle Drunker Vs Punch Drunker: Keisuke Ishii Vs Tyson Maeguchi
The spirit Tyson Maeguchi shows in the ring has caught Keisuke Ishii’s attention. Maeguchi’s switch from kickboxing to pro wrestling has not brought much success so far, at least that is how it looks whenever he is in Ganpro. He still has a lot to learn and puro nerd Ishii might be the mentor he is looking for.

7. DDT x ONLY WE Special 6-Man Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yuya Koroku Vs Yuji Hino, Kaji Tomato & Yukio Naya
The two teams that got forfeit wins in the Ultimate Tag League now face each other. This is also DAMNATION T.A’s last match in their group. If Pheromones win then they might be able to qualify for the final with one match still in hand.
It was confirmed by DDT earlier today that Chris Brookes had tested positive for covid while he was out with a fever. However he has since recovered and is expected to be back at this Sunday’s show in Chiba.

In the A Block Eruption needs to win to have any chance of reaching a tiebreaker. Even then their odds aren’t good. Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya just want to end their run with a win as proof that Naya has gotten stronger.

7. Ultimate Tag League 2022 – Final: Winners Of Block A Vs Winners Of Block B
I’m not going to worry about who needs to do what to qualify for the final until the matches on the shows above have taken place.
The Saki Akai Vs Maya Yukihi rivalry is getting even more dangerous with the additions of Yukio Sakaguchi and Sanshiro Takagi. If the boss of DDT and CyberFight decides to team with you then take the hint Yukihi!
Lingling, the current reigning and defending Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion will be at the show. She will be there even if she loses the title to someone else beforehand.

5. DDT 25th Anniversary Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Michael Nakazawa
6. DDT Universal Title – Hardcore 3 Way Match: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs Jun Kasai Vs MAO
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs Tetsuya Endo
When Jun Kasai came back to DDT last week, he was looking for an opponent that could excite him. In the end he thinks Daisuke Sasaki is the only one who can do that. They had a Hardcore Match in Saitama Super Arena five years ago that Sasaki won. Kasai thinks it is time for a rematch. There is one problem though. MAO has pestered Sasaki non-stop to get the next shot at the DDT Universal Title and the champion finally agreed to it. The solution is to have all three fight each other at the same time!
Jun Akiyama is celebrating his 30th anniversary in wrestling this year. To celebrate, he is reuniting Burning Wild with Takao Omori for a special tag match. DDT contacted All Japan and got their permission to make this match happen. Their opponents have not been chosen yet.
DDT “DAY DREAM BELIEVER 2022”, 27/03/2022
Tokyo Korakuen Hall
1. Jun Akiyama Vs Kazuki Hirata
2. DDT Extreme Title: Yuki “Sexy” Iino (c) Vs Shunma Katsumata
The DDT Extreme Title now belongs to Yuki Iino. Who knows what perverted match ideas he and Pheromones will come up with. All we know is he really wants Shunma Katsumata to be his first challenger. Katsumata reluctantly accepts the match. He is also getting suspicious that the GM Hisaya Imabayashi is secretly the mastermind of Pheromones because he never really punishes them for their “public executions” even when he is often the victim.
That’s not all Akiyama has planned for March. He fought Kazuki Hirata in the Ultimate Tag League and is convinced Hirata wants to fight him one on one. Things couldn’t be any further from the truth. Hirata is intimidated as hell by that idea. Too bad for him because the match is going to happen anyway!

6. Ultimate Tag League 2022 – A Block – Maikon no Kohara Presents: Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno (2) Vs Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya (2)
There are clearances over in DDT too. Danshoku Dieno will be back in action on Saturday. He is allowed to re-enter the Ultimate Tag League, taking back his spot on the Pheromones team that Yumehito Imanari kept warm while he was out of action. But first he has a non-tournament match to get his wind back.

5. DDT Extreme Title – Turkish Wrestling Rules: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs Yuki “Sexy” Iino
Masahiro Takanashi will also return to action two days later teaming up with Chris Brookes again. CDK had to forfeit their league match to Pheromones which is a minor setback after winning their opening bout. They are still in the running for first place in Block B but as things stand right now that forfeit might come back to haunt them.

2. BAD COMMUNICATION 2022 Special Bout: Ken Ohka, Keisuke Ishii & Shigehiro Irie Vs Shota, Soma Takao & Shinichiro Tominaga
3. Ganjo Special Tag Match: Yuna Manase & YuuRI Vs Moeka Haruhi & Maya Yukihi
4. Ganpro’s Famous Mixed Tag Match: Mizuki Watase & HARUKAZE Vs Shunma Katsumata & Akane Fujita
5. Unleash The Curse Of The Great Prophecy!: The Great Sasuke Vs Yumehito Imanari
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Tatsuhito Takaiwa (c) Vs Kouki Iwasaki
A dangerous request was put in HARUKAZE for Ganbare☆Pro’s return to Korakuen Hall. She demanded a Hardcore Match and threw the challenge out to both Shunma Katsumata and Akane Fujita! Those two already have tension between them over accusations of weapon plagiarism but they have to team together for this match. HARUKAZE found Mizuki Watase to be her partner and make the match an intergender tag.
There has been little follow up to the rumours of CyberFight wanting to sign Maya Yukihi to a contract. She has her story with Saki Akai in DDT going on until March so once that finishes up we may find out what she wants to do next. But before that, she will show up in Ganpro again for a tag match highlighting the Ganbare☆Joshi division.
Seeing Ken Ohka positioned this low on a major Ganpro card is weird. I welcome it because the rest of the group has stepped up over the last two years but it’s still weird.
DDT “MEGA MAX BUMP 2022 TOUR IN YOKOHAMA”, 01/05/2022
Yokohama Budokan
1. KO-D Openweight Title: Konosuke Takeshita (c) Vs X
The next KO-D Openweight Title defence will be held at DDT’s next big show after their 25th Anniversary celebration. Either Konosuke Takeshita or Tetsuya Endo will defend the title at the Yokohama Budokan against an opponent to be determined.
Also on the show will be the return of Hikaru Sato to DDT for the first time since 2019. Sato was a DDT mainstay from 2008 to 2014 and even held the KO-D Title one time. He makes some one-off appearances here and there but those times were for spin-off shows or special occasions.

1. SAGAT, Akiyori Takizawa & Yasu Urano defeated Daiki Shimomura, Takato Nakano & Lil Kraken when SAGAT pinned Kraken with the Goregrind (13:26).
2. Fuminori Abe & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & Daichi Kazato when Takanashi pinned Kazato with the Hangover!! (11:01).
3. Last Single: Isami Kodaka Vs Tank Nagai ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).
4. Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi defeated Gouma with the Osotogari (9:39).
5. IRON FIST Tag Titles: Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga (c) defeated FUMA & Yusuke Kubo when Oosugi pinned FUMA with a Cradle (16:40).
*V3 for Speed Of Sounds.
With another title defence in the books, Speed Of Sounds think everything was easy-peasy today. Last time they held the IRON FIST Tag Titles they defended them for a year. This time they want to defend it for two years so it will feel like going from Normal difficulty to Hard mode. IRON PRIEST thought they had everything it took to win the titles today. Yusuke Kubo thinks their plan fell apart in the middle of the match. FUMA put everything he gained from the two years since the teams last fought each other into the match and felt he failed right at the end. They will not lose hope though and are ready for a rematch whenever and wherever Speed Of Sounds want it.
For the last time Isami Kodaka and Tank Nagai got to wrestle each other. After the match ended in a draw, Kodaka told Nagai that just because his wrestling career is ending does not mean his life is. No matter what Nagai does next, Kodaka wants him to remember this match and go for it. Nagai said he and his wife Mio Shirai are about to have their third child. The next time he comes to BASARA in some form, he’ll be able to show the power of all five members of his family.

6. Ultimate Tag League 2022 – A Block: Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno Vs Shuji Kondo & Kazuki Hirata
7. DDT Universal Title: Daisuke Sasaki (c) Vs Minoru Fujita
A press conference was held today to promote the DDT Universal Title match. Minoru Fujita said he has completely dominated the prelim matches against Daisuke Sasaki so all he has to do now is win the title match. If he does that then it will pave the way for his Fujita Pro Wrestling School to invade DDT and form a spinoff unit in the company. Sasaki (who was drinking) accused Fujita of lying about his poor health to throw him off guard. He then got mad when his mentor Dick Togo was brought up. Things calmed down and the two shook hands until Fujita kicked Sasaki in the groin. Sasaki wanted to get some kind of heat back so he gave Hisaya Imabayashi a Low Blow just because.
LiLiCo sent in a video message saying she will be at this show. There is something she wants to tell everyone but is keeping it secret until then. The celebrity wrestled for DDT several times from 2014 to 2018 and even held a few championships during her time here.

5. Ultimate Tag League 2022 – B Block: Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi Vs Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul
What will happen when Shinya Aoki’s madness is crossed with Yuki Iino’s sex appeal? Pheromones successfully “convinced” Imabayashi to give Iino a shot at the DDT Extreme Title. Iino is confident that he can do whatever match type or crazy rule Aoki comes up with.
Saki Akai is 2-1 over Maya Yukihi in their series of tag matches so far. The matches are getting more heated as Yukihi becomes more convinced that Akai is taunting her with her success in DDT. Meanwhile Akai is trying to get the message across that she got to where she is today with a lot of hard work.
