3. Ryota Nakatsu defeated Hijo del Alebrije with a Back Roll Clutch Hold (10:50).
4. Ajikan International Police Vs Expendables Allied Forces: FUMA, KUBITO & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Kaminold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Uranone & Jason Abeham ended in a No Contest because peace has come to the world (15:01).
5. Enter Kazato The Road To The Death Game Of Anger: Choun-Shiryu defeated Daichi Kazato with the Project A (23:22).

Today’s show was all put together by Asian Kung Fu Revolution. Each member of the unit all promised the fans will never know what is going to happen in the matches. For example, Daichi Kazato challenged Choun-Shiryu to a match because he cannot stand the fact there is a person who is more Asian and Kung Fu than Asian Kung Fu Revolution. The two agreed to fight under Game Of Death rules. It featured a large rubber band attached to one of the ropes as well as a balance ball, an iron pot and a ladle for the wrestlers to use a weapons. Kazato held onto the balance ball while he did the Mad Splash but missed and bounced across the ring. Shiryu then gave him the Chinese Gory Special Bomb onto the ball and won the match by hitting the Project A (similar to the Coffin Drop) for the pin. After the match Kazato revealed that when he was a high school student he was invited by Shiryu to train pro wrestling with him. He thinks what he learned that day has helped him survive the business ever since and he wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Shiryu.

Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi claimed he spent a lot of money to bring over a bunch of Hollywood stars for Asian Kung Fu Revolution to fight against. Sylvester Uranone wanted to show off his Rocky skills so he had a boxing showdown with Hiroshi. Kaminold Schwarzenegger spent the match posing in his underwear until it was discovered that his urine test came back positive for a banned substance so he was taken out of the match. FUMA then shot both Uranone and Jason Abeham with his hunting rifle before accidentally shooting KUBITO. Next up, Fuminori Abe came out dressed like The Rock and was followed by SAGAT dressed like Dude Love. FUMA shot them both. Schwarzenegger returned, this time as a Terminator to stop FUMA. With all of this chaos going on, Hiroshi began to sing in the hopes that everyone would get along. They did, even the people who were shot. Since everybody was now holding hands and bringing peace to the world, the match was declared a no contest.

Today was the first time Ryota Nakatsu wrestled against a Mexican luchador so he wanted to try and copy Hijo del Alebrije’s style. He himself admits he wasn’t very good at it but he was able to adjust and pin Alebrije with a Back Roll Clutch. It is a wrestling style he would like to try again.

I still don’t get why Match #2 was called a 6-Man Tag when there were only four wrestlers involved.

YuuRI’s ambitious attempt to become a Double Crown champion failed when she was unable to beat Isami Kodaka for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title. She put up a great effort though by kicking out of the Diving Double Knee Drop and also getting back up to fight when the referee tried to count her out. Kodaka had to pull out his rarely used 1244 submission hold to make her give up. Before the show began, YuuRI described Kodaka like a superhero and said she would become Ganbare☆Pro’s superhero if she beat him. Kodaka brought it up again after the match and encouraged YuuRI to become Ice Ribbon’s superhero because she will stay as a supporting character in GanPro for as long as he is GanPro’s champion.

Kodaka’s comments caused most of the GanPro roster to approach the ring and climb onto the apron. He told all of them that supporting characters are not allowed in the ring while the superhero is giving his show closing speech. He also noticed Ken Ohka was not among the wrestlers confronting him. Everyone stepped down to the floor with Shinichiro Tominaga being the last one to do so after he took a moment to stare at Kodaka.

Earlier in the day Ground Absolute were presented with the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Title belts. The championships were not completed in time so trophies were used to represent the prize until today. Shuichiro Katsumura & Takuya Wada went on to defend their new belts by beating the unique team of Hartley Jackson & HARUKAZE, also known together as Lethal Weapon. HARUKAZE submitted to Katsumura but was praised by the champions for showing guts. Ground Absolute now want to fight any opponents, wrestler or fighter, from any company that will help raise the value of the tag titles. HARUKAZE was upset to lose but asked Jackson if they can continue teaming together. He said of course they will because HARUKAZE is the only wrestler he wants to team with in GanPro.

Ohka’s absence from the main event angle can be explained from his utter defeat to Koji Doi earlier in the show. Doi used an Eye Poke and Low Blow behind the ref’s back to set up his inevitable path to victory. With this result Doi said it should be the end of this story. But he wants to continue making Ohka’s life a misery until Ohka cannot sleep anymore.

Tominaga pinning Mizuki Watase in the 6-Man Tag is a big statement towards him possibly becoming the next challenger for the SOG Title.

The summer is nearing its end and so too is this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup. Four women are left standing and two of those will be next to fall. Miyu Yamashita is trying to win the tournament for the first time after a decade of trying, Yuki Arai is benefitting from adding Saki Akai’s Rookie Award finisher to her moveset, Rika Tatsumi is in the middle of one hell of a run and Yuki Kamifuku is showing everyone just how successful she can be when she puts her mind to it.

Akai’s next 10th Anniversary match will feature her teaming with Maya Yukihi & Asuka. They were two of her recent big opponents here in DDT. Their opponents all debuted in 2013, the same year as Akai. Takumi Iroha & Rina Yamashita were already announced and this past weekend Shoko Nakajima was revealed to be the third woman on the team.

Hirata found a way to beat HARASHIMA. He’s also beaten Sakaguchi once before but as Extreme Champion he will come up with any stipulation that will tip the scales in his favour. Otherwise Sakaguchi is going to kill him and take his title!

Makoto Oishi has convinced Yuji Hino to go after the KO-D Tag Team Titles with him. Maybe Hino would be better off teaming with Yukio Naya for the match but Oishi being such a caring father for his children convinced Hino to stick with him.

Akai asked Danshoku Dieno for a singles match to call back memories of the Extreme Title bout from 2016. Their match back then featured a stipulation that nobody was allowed to cry or else they would lose. It was a match that Akai learned a lot and still thinks about after all this time. Dieno understands how much it means to her and will not be using his “Dandy” persona for that reason.

Sick of his demands being ignored, Atsushi Onita took it upon himself last week to crash a training session at the DDT dojo and confront Jun Akiyama. Apparently Onita got in touch with Kojima and demanded to find out when Akiyama was in the building. Kojima told him but didn’t actually expect he would show up. Onita told Akiyama the names of many famous wrestlers who fought him in Explosion Death Matches then asked why is he the only person who refuses to take part? Onita also reminded Sanshiro Takagi he was promised this match would happen. Akiyama accepted the challenge and both sides decided their teams. Onita will team with Yoshi Tatsu & Toy Kojima while Akiyama & Takagi will add Yusuke Okada to their team.

Is the team of Ueno & MAO enough to beat Takeshita & Sasaki? We’re heading into dangerous territory here as tensions raise higher and higher.

If Eruption are still the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions coming out of their All Japan appearance at the end of this month then their match against Yuko Miyamoto, Isami Kodaka & Ram Kaichow will be a title match.

Chaos broke out at a rally event held by Akito, Soma Takao & Yoshitomo Shimohigashi to promote the show. Pheromones found out the location was at a store where the DDT GM Hisaya Imabayashi works part-time. Imabayashi is currently subcontracted to DDT instead of being a full time employee, so he got a part-time job here to make up for his drop in salary. When Pheromones crashed the event and started causing trouble with Akito’s team they ended up dragging a bystander into the situation. That person turned out to be Buchigire Ujihara, a comedian and Youtuber who is friends with Shimohigashi. Imabayashi found out who he was and started complaining it’s unfair that he has to work these low paying part-time jobs while Ujihara gets rich by acting a fool on Youtube. Since Imabayashi is not fully employed by DDT, he no longer sees the point in opposing Pheromones. Instead he is going to be on their side at Sumo Hall under the name Hisaya Kachikire. In response to this Ujihara agreed to be in the corner of Akito’s team for the match.

It’s been a weekend to remember for YuuRI. She settled a score with Misa Kagura going back to their JTO beginnings, won the main championship of Ice Ribbon the next day and is now challenging Isami Kodaka in a bid to rescue the Spirit Of Ganbare Title! This isn’t the kind of match Kodaka was expecting to get involved in after taking Ganbare☆Pro’s singles belt but he is still intrigued by the challenge.

GanPro’s first attempt and defending themselves against DoiKuma did not go the way they wanted it to. Ken Ohka was beaten but still wants to fight Kuma Arashi to get his revenge. Arashi is not interested in facing Ohka one on one and has plans elsewhere to worry about. Koji Doi however is interested in fighting Ohka by himself while Arashi is busy.

The ICEx∞ Title is the name of the championship YuuRI won in Ice Ribbon. Her title win is significant because she is only two years and eight months into her wrestling career. The only person to have won that title with less experience at the time was Suzu Suzuki at one year and eight months. YuuRI decided her first title defence will be at the next Ganbare☆Joshi show. She picked Ami Manase to be her opponent because they haven’t fought each other in GanJo yet.

What a day it’s been for YuuRI. First of all, she wrestled on an Ice Ribbon show in Yokohama where she defeated Totoro Satsuki to become the new ICEx∞ Champion! She then got to live up to the promise she made to the fans yesterday by bringing the belt with her to Ganbare☆Pro. One new title is not enough for her though. Her next goal is to become a Double Crown Champion and she wants to bring GanPro’s main championship home in the process. That’s right, she is challenging Isami Kodaka for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title! Kodaka accepted the match for 6th August. He wants to know who is stronger, the young and vigorous new champion or the 41 year old who suffered heatstroke while wrestling in BASARA earlier today?

At the end of the show Shuichiro Katsumura said he was going to make a similar challenge for 6th August in the hopes of winning another championship to go along with the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles he holds with Takuya Wada. However when he heard about YuuRI challenging Kodaka he decided to give her his full support instead and rallied the rest of the GanPro roster to join him.

The first wave of GanPro’s defence against the invading DoiKuma ended in a painful failure. Kuma Arashi & Koji Doi dominated against Ken Ohka & Shota despite the home team’s best efforts. Ohka still wanted to fight and challenged Arashi to a singles match on 6th August. Arashi refused (he later admitted it’s because he already has a match scheduled with Ryouji Sai that day) and decided to beat Ohka up some more. Doi then decided he will accept Ohka’s challenge instead.

The GanPro debut of Shingo (Suzuki) saw the DEEP MMA champion submit Shinichiro Tominaga. Shingo showed a lot more than just MMA fighting. He did an Inverted Diving Senton from the top rope as well as a 2nd Rope Moonsault. He even did a Firebird Splash except Tominaga rolled out of the way. Despite that setback, Shingo trapped him in a Wakikatame to win. Afterwards Shingo said the GanPro ring is worth fighting for and he would like to continue wrestling here.

Hartley Jackson & HARUKAZE are both feeling confident in their chances of winning the SOG Tag Titles. HARUKAZE believes their teamwork and combined power makes them the better team than Ground Absolute. Jackson said nothing will make him happier than to win the titles with HARUKAZE.

The next Ganbare☆Joshi show is also taking place on 11th August. YuuRI wants to defend the ICEx∞ Title on the show and is considering Yuna Manase’s masked sister Ami Manase as her challenger.

4. Ryota Nakatsu & SAGAT defeated Takumi Tsukamoto & Yasu Urano when SAGAT pinned Tsukamoto with the Goregrind (18:11).
5. Isami Kodaka defeated Daichi Kazato with a Body Slam (16:48).

The main event sounds like it was very weird and not just for the finish being a Body Slam. Daichi Kazato was at his most oddball and Isami Kodaka tried to figure out how to deal with that. When he did he Body Slammed him three times, taking so much wind out of Kazato that he couldn’t kick out of the pin.

FUMA & Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi weren’t happy that they lost to Speed Of Sounds so quickly in a comedy match. They asked for an immediate rematch, one that would be treated more seriously and SOS accepted. FUMA ended up pulling out two hunting muskets and scared the other wrestlers out of the ring, Hiroshi included. Banana Senga found two coathangers and gave them to Tsutomu Oosugi to fight FUMA with. FUMA instead hunted down both SOS wrestlers around the room, shooting them as well as Hiroshi and also Fuminori Abe. Hiroshi recovered and revived SOS by singing a hymn. While all of this was going on, Hiroshi was still the legal man this whole time so he got counted out right before he finally returned to the ring.
