2. Princess Tag Team Titles: Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta (c) Vs Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Regina

Before Yamashita travelled to America she learned who her first challenger for the Princess Of Princess Title will be at the end of this month. Regina is an 8 year veteran from Tuusula, Finland who wrestles for FCF over there. She is 166cm tall and weighs 105kg. Yamashita said she wants to be careful fighting her, especially when she found out Regina is the FCF Finnish Heavyweight Champion and has defeated larger male wrestlers in her reign. This will be their only match together on Regina’s tour of TJPW because Yamashita is in America during her other appearances. All Yamashita can do to prepare is to find videos of Regina’s matches to watch while she is away.

Free WiFi have only just won the Princess Tag Team Titles so they intend not to lose them easily. Their first challengers are Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano. The two of them now have a new team name: Shinken Kusho! In order to prepare for this match Nao Kakuta has done two things. She is starting to make meals in a rice cooker like Miyamoto often does. She also bought the latest FRIDAY magazine because Nagano is in the issue as the centerfold. Hikari Noa asked Nagano to write her new team name on her page in the magazine. Kakuta thinks Free WiFi is the cooler name.

Normally DDT does a Battle Royal on the same show to determine the No. 1 Contender a year in advance but that did not happen last time.

The World Omori Title match saw Chikara’s father Mitsuo Momota get caught up in the action when his son and Soma Takao fought around the crowd outside the ring. Chikara almost collided into him but stopped right in front of him. Takao wound up winning the match and becoming the new World Omori Champion. The result means a lot to him because he used to go to DDT’s outdoor shows at JR Omori Station back when he was a high school student. He is eager for this show to take place again next year so he can defend the belt.

Sanshiro Takagi heard that the rookie Takeshi Masada really wants to be part of DDT’s show in Hollywood next year and laid him down with a challenge. Masada has to beat Takagi in a singles match first before he can ask to be part of the USA tour!

Pom’s Tears For Her Tag Title Match, Spirit Of EVE Ruleset, Katsumura Returning Home Empty Handed

November 26, 2022

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “ALL RISE ’22”, 27/11/2022
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Suzume Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa
2. 2 Vs 3 Handicap Match: Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao Vs Haruna Neko, Mahiro Kiryu & Kaya Toribami

4. Mizuki Vs Arisu Endo
5. Maki Itoh & Hikari Noa Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Nao Kakuta
6. EVE Title: Miyu Yamashita (c) Vs Millie McKenzie
7. Princess Tag Team Titles: Saki Akai & Yuki Arai (c) Vs Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku
8. Princess Of Princess Title: Yuka Sakazaki (c) Vs Billie Starkz

The match contract for the Princess Tag Team Titles match was signed earlier this week. Everyone involved gave comments on the match too. Saki Akai has been watching Yuki Aino’s matches ever since she debuted but she doesn’t sense any of the burning passion that Aino always talks about. She does not feel threatened by the challenging team for that reason. Yuki Arai does not feel used to defending her championship and is still nervous over these matches. Aino was meant to go into this match with Raku and will still be motivated to fight for her while she is absent with covid. Pom Harajuku broke down into tears because she wanted to see her friends challenge for the championship and now Raku cannot do it. Aino encouraged her to fight together and suggested they can divide the Tag Titles into thirds if they win. This match is happening around the same time as Harajuku’s 4th anniversary so she thinks it might be God/Raku telling her it’s time to show everyone she is an adult pro wrestler. Oddly enough, Akai thought the sight of Harajuku crying was kind of scary…

The EVE Title match will be held under the “Spirit Of EVE” ruleset used by the British promotion. The match has a 30 minute time limit, no countouts and the referee can end the match if one of wrestlers no longer shows the spirit to continue fighting. Really, it’s the no countout rule that is the only real difference here. Tokyo Joshi Pro’s title matches also have 30 minute time limits and there’s been referee stoppages over here in the past for knockouts and submissions.

There will be three people greeting the audiences during Sayuri Namba’s opening announcements before the show begins. It could be anything from some of the trainees learning about their pro debuts, outsiders visiting to promote an upcoming match with the company, members of the roster having news to tell everyone and so on.

4. Loser Loses Gilberto Style Match: Yasu Urano Vs Isami Kodaka
5. Kung Fu Yoga Allied Forces Vs Ninja USA Forces Counter Attack: Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & FUMA Vs Ryota Nakatsu & SAGAT

Asian Kung Fu Revolution are producing the evening show. Can the alliance of Kung Fu and Yoga defeat American ninjas in the final battle of the night?

The Gilberto Style Match between Urano and Kodaka is taken from the anime Baki The Grappler. In the anime it is a contest where both fighters hold onto the same handkerchief while they fight. The first one to let go of the handkerchief loses. The “Loser Loses” wordplay is because the Loser Loses his honour in defeat.

Speed Of Sounds having a match against each other is notable by itself but the match title sounding like a reference to Ranma 1/2’s cursed springs has me confused over what they could be planning.

7. D-Ou Grand Prix 2022 – Final: Yuki Ueno Vs Yukio Naya

Naya visited his father Takatoriki Tadashige this week to give him the latest report on his pro wrestling career as well as talk about his brother Oho’s currently impressive run at the Grand Sumo Tournament in Fukuoka. Naya told his father he was competing in the D-Ou Grand Prix and qualified for the final next month. Takatoriki praised his son for working hard but told him he always had weak luck. Everybody likes people who are hungry to succeed and try their best but those qualities can be useless if Naya does not have the spirit to bring down his opponent and win. So Takatoriki offered to teach Naya that spirit by using forbidden gambling training to improve his luck.

The training is forbidden because Takatoriki was a retired sumo wrestler who became blackballed from the sport after admitting to illegal gambling on baseball games which resulted borrowing large amounts of money to pay off his debts. Despite his dark history with gambling, he felt this was necessary and challenged Naya to beat him in a game of blackjack. Naya succeeded and his father promised to reward him with a 6 month gift voucher at a Personal Training gym if he wins the D-Ou Grand Prix.

Four of the D-Ou Grand Prix participants who failed to make the final now have to team up together and fight the entire DAMNATION T.A.

Naruki Doi returns and gets his request to fight HARASHIMA granted. It’s in a 6-Man Tag Match though and HARASHIMA has to fight against the rest of his DISASTER BOX stablemates.

5. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: Moeka Haruhi Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa
6. GanJo Three Big Singles Match: Yuna Manase Vs Echika Miyabi

It’s time for Ganbare☆Joshi to finally do those big series of singles matches that shows are built around sometimes. Most of the division are taking on each other but Yuna Manase is getting a brand new opponent making her Ganbare☆Pro debut. Echika Miyabi is a trans joshi wrestler who made her pro wrestling debut with P.P.P. Tokyo in September. Miyabi is 21 years old, 178cm tall and weighs 75kg. She had a background in baseball and judo before she transitioned during her college years. She worked at a muscle girls themed bar where she was introduced to pro wrestling by her workmate, Chanyota and began training with her.

It will be a few weeks until the next Spirit Of Ganbare Title defence so until then Hartley Jackson and Mizuki Watase will have plenty of time to prepare for it. Former champion Tatsuhito Takaiwa is coming back to give Watase some help in his preparation. Jackson will be teaming with Seiya Morohashi for this match.

Kouki Iwasaki’s final match in Ganpro will be against Keisuke Ishii but before that happens, he wants to team with him one last time. Their friendship will be put to the test against Ganpro’s original best buddies, Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari.

1. World Omori Title: Chikara (c) Vs Soma Takao

2018 was the last time the World Omori Title was defended outside the JR Omori Station. It’s been years since DDT held a show there but they are finally going back. It was determined four years ago that Chikara would defend the title against Masahiro Takanashi next but Takanashi will be busy wrestling in Singapore. So instead Soma Takao has been chosen to challenge for the belt even though he does not want to. The next No. 1 Contender for the following year’s event is usually determined on this show too.

2. Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo defeated KUDO, Toru Owashi & Yuki Ueno when Endi pinned Ueno with the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb (10:28).
3. Gurukun Mask defeated Shunma Katsumata with a Moonsault (10:22).
4. World Omori Title Next Challenger Battle Royal: Masahiro Takanashi defeated Jun Kasai by Ring Out (10:45).
Order Of Elimination: Saki Akai, Michael Wolf, Mad Paulie, Kazuki Hirata, HARASHIMA and Jun Kasai.
5. World Omori Title: Chikara (c) defeated Antonio Honda with a Back Drop (15:01).
*V1 for Chikara.
6. Danshoku Dieno, Kazusada Higuchi & Keisuke Ishii defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Akito & Yuki Iino when Dieno pinned Iino with the Danshoku Driver (17:47).

Hisaya Imabayashi asked the referee and all of the wrestlers in the main event to prevent Danshoku Dieno from hunting for men in the audience. Yukinori Matsui immediately began counting out Dieno as he made his entrance to get him into the ring ASAP while the wrestlers tried to block his more lewd wrestling moves during the match. Dieno understood there were rules put in place to keep him under control today but he has his own rules which he must abide with. Kazusada Higuchi ended up agreeing with Dieno and actively helped him use his moveset, even if it meant pushing their other partner Keisuke Ishii’s face into Dieno’s bare backside. After the match Dieno told the audience that rules are definitely important in DDT but they change on a daily basis. He promoted DDT’s biggest show of the year happening next Sunday and if they want to see more of Dieno’s extraordinary life then they should come down to Sumo Hall.

Chikara defeated Antonio Honda to clear his first defence of the World Omori Title. His next challenger in 2019 will be against Masahiro Takanashi, the winner of the Battle Royal earlier in the show. Takanashi appeared after the match as part of a group of wrestlers carrying Jason Kincaid down to the ring. Takanashi congratulated Chikara but called his match bad. It took 4 years for Takanashi to finally get this title shot so he will not waste his chance! He only has one shot but that’s all he needs. Chikara said he once received guidance from Kazushi Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata at the Laughter7 gym in Omori. Because of that he cannot be defeated in this town!

Takanashi was able to win the Battle Royal thanks to some help. Jun Kasai knocked him out of the ring but Takanashi landed on KUDO outside, avoiding the ground because KUDO caught him. Takanashi got back into the ring and eliminated Kasai to win.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Yuki Ueno and Chinsuke Nakamura hosted a wrestling costume contest during intermission. Rainy weather didn’t dampen the spirits of DDT for their annual outdoor show at the Tokyo JR Omori Station. Also included in the show was the annual World Omori Title defence. Chikara defeated the defending champion Makoto Oishi to win his first ever singles title. Earlier in the show Antonio Honda won the Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 Contender for next year’s title defence. Honda told everyone that when Star Wars came out in 1977 it was the No. 1 movie at the US box office. However the movie that came in 2nd place was Trans Am 7000 (the Japanese title for Smokey And The Bandit). Honda thinks that is the real best movie of all time and he will beat Chikara for the title next year to get revenge for Burt Reynolds!

Michael Nakazawa showed up during the Battle Royal wanting to cancel it because Danshoku Dino had the back of his tights pulled down for all of the train station to see. His attempts were thwarted and his head was shoved into Dino’s backside. Nakazawa stuck around to judge a wrestling costume contest during intermission.
