The Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title is no longer with Ganbare☆Pro after Shota lost the championship at a JUST TAP OUT show. His match with Yasu Urano will still go ahead but Urano still wants Shota to defend something so the match has some meaning. An agreement was made that Shota will cut off his hair on the spot if he loses. Urano however does not have to put anything on the line so nothing will happen to him if he loses. Going by that wording, a draw should spare Shota’s locks if that happens again.

Asuka is taking time off to recover from an ankle injury. Ayumi Hayashi from Actwres girl’z takes her place in the trios match.

Gouma Ryu is now just Gouma after he failed to win the Dragon Contra Dragon match this past week. There’s been no sign of the other participant Trans-Am ★ Ryuji, I mean Trans-Am ★ Ji since the match happened.

It was revealed to him on a ZOOM call that both Shunma Katsumata and Batten x Burabura will challenge him in a 3 Way Match with the exact rules revealed before the match begins. Katsumata just visited the Kumamoto Hot Spring the other day and already bought the T-shirt. Burabura wants to win the title and use it to make Kyushu a better place. He thinks he can win because local talent are strong in local areas which means he has the hometown advantage.

Takumi Tsukamoto and FUMA have become different people in the five years since BASARA was launched. Tsukamoto admits that his style of wrestling does not match with FUMA’s. But that is why he wanted to beat him today in order to retain the Union MAX Title. He was nervous to defend the title in the main event of BASARA’s 5th Anniversary and he is proud to be a double champion along with the BJW Death Match Title he won on 2nd January. Yusuke Kubo challenged Tsukamoto for the MAX Title on 26th January. Kubo wants it to be an exciting match between two wrestlers from Kyushu.

The IRON FIST Tag Titles are now claimed by Sento Minzoku! The new champions edged out the win when Isami Kodaka countered the Tsuki no Ishi into a cradle for the three count. Kodaka felt he was at his limit and his partner Daiki Shimomura was the key for their victory today. Shimomura wants to nominate their first challengers as soon as possible while Kodaka is more patient and prefers to wait for a team to challenge them. He understands the scenery of BASARA is changing around him so he wants to have more fun with the position he is in. For Speed Of Sounds they are thinking about taking a different direction after having a dominant title reign. Both Tsutomu Oosugi & Banana Senga want to chase after singles titles because they are more than just as a tag team.

Since Ryuichi Sekine is going to take time off soon, Match #5 was chosen to determine who will become Ryuichi Sekine II. Both Fuminori Abe and Yasu Urano entered to Sekine’s entrance music and attempted to use his moves on each other. Abe couldn’t decide on which of Sekine’s move to use for the finish so he went for his own Manjigatame instead. He then told everyone only the original Ryuichi Sekine should use the Let’s Combine and he hopes he will come back when he feels like it.

The double countout in the Dragon Contra Dragon match happened when Trans-Am ★ Ryuji chased Gouma Ryu around ringside. They scrambled to get back in before the twenty count but both fell to the floor as the referee counted 20. As a result, both Gouma Ryu and Trans-Am ★ Ryuji will get “Ryu” stripped from their names.

Sekine assures everyone he is not retiring after his match with Ryota Nakatsu. He just needs a break because right now he can no longer do various things at once. He wants to take time off, study something new and maybe when he comes back he will be 2 meters tall and can enter the heavyweight division.

A Sento Minzoku team has won this year’s IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT! The team of Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura will now challenge Speed Of Sounds for the IRON FIST TAG Titles at Korakuen Hall on 20th January.

Takumi Tsukamoto chose his opponent for the main event of BASARA’s 5th Anniversary show. He narrowed it down to FUMA and Daichi Kazato because he faced against both of them in the main event tag of the very first BASARA show. In the end, Tsukamoto chose FUMA and their match will have the Union MAX Title on the line.

The Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Minoru Fujita ended in a draw when Hiroshi began to sing “Silent Night”. Fujita joined in and they left the ring together in harmony while the match was still going on. The referee called off the match because the wrestlers had no reason to fight each other.

In his third attempt, Takumi Tsukamoto has become the new Union MAX Champion! After the match the former champion Fuminori Abe admitted he never felt more frustrated after a loss. He was able to do so much as the MAX Champion and it today he was reminded there is somebody out there stronger than him. He remembered when he won the title from Masahiro Takanashi under unfortunate circumstances. The BASARA fans still supported him and still treated him like a deserving champion. He knows they will continue to support him so he will be 100 million times stronger when he fights Tsukamoto again in order to win the belt back! Tsukamoto said that BASARA is just about to become 5 years old. It is still an immature and developing promotion just like he is still an immature and developing human being. He burst into tears from the crowd cheering him and joked about being a crybaby. He promised to devote himself to being Takumi Tsukamoto in order to get even more stronger.

One of the IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT semi-finals is set. IRON PRIEST will take on Isami Kodaka & Daiki Shimomura for a spot in the final on 7th December. It is the rematch of last year’s final and Shimomura wants revenge!

In the week leading up to the show, FUMA announced the Iron Family was disbanding and a new unit will replace it. The new unit is called Asian Kung Fu Revolution because the roots of both yoga and heavy metal can be found in Asia. FUMA, Yusuke Kubo, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Daichi Kazato are the members of this group.

Daichi Kazato fought using the power of Best Stretchman V3 but it wasn’t enough to defeat Speed Of Sounds. After the match, Kazato announced he was retiring the Best Stretchman gimmick. He asked Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi and FUMA if they could all be in the same unit together because they have known each other going all the way back to their days in Union Pro. FUMA isn’t sure if that would be the right choice for Kazato. He wants to see what Kazato has got first before The Iron Family makes their decision.

Takumi Tsukamoto became the No. 1 Contender and will get a Union MAX Title shot on 10th November. Fuminori Abe has never beaten Tsukamoto but he is confident he will make him submit. Tsukamoto told him he has never given up anything in his life. Abe promised to take Tsukamoto’s “give up virginity” on 10th November.

The 2020 IRON FIST TAG TOURNAMENT will take place in November and December. Round 1 will take place on the 10th and 14th November. The semi finals will be on 7th December and the final will be on 22nd December. The winning team will challenge Speed Of Sounds for the IRON FIST TAG Titles at a later date.

We have another contract expiration, this time it’s a DDT wrestler. Ladybeard finished up with DDT on 30th September and is now a freelancer. There is a late change in tomorrow’s big match. Yuki Kamifuku broke the ring finger on her right hand and will not be able to wrestle for around three weeks. Under doctor’s recommendation she has pulled out of the main event. Kamifuku is aiming to return on 17th October. Mahiro Kiryu was going to remove herself from the match because of this but Kamifuku convinced her not to waste the opportunity she made for herself. Kiryu agreed and nominated Pom Harajuku to be her new tag partner. Both Daydream and The Bakuretsu Sisters gave their approval for the math to go ahead.

Marika Kobashi’s return match involves her former tag partner from the JK Strikers. However Miyu Yamashita is not on her team, instead they are against each other.

The Brahman Brothers disinfected the ring during their entrance because they are still concerned over getting infected with the Coronavirus. Brahman Kei tried to do the twin magic spot with both Brahman Shu and Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi at ringside. Fuminori Abe didn’t fall for it but was still distracted long enough for Kei to attack him from behind. Takuya Nomura helped Abe at certain moments to even out the odds. Shu then took out his secret weapon, an Ultimo Dragon mask! He wore it and tried to do Ultimo Dragon moves until Abe blocked the Asai DDT. Abe then used the Irabu Punch to stun The Brahmans into hitting each other. Shy threw powder in Abe’s face in a moment of desperation and Kei used La Magistral Cradle for a nearfall. Abe regained his senses and pinned Kei with the Onryo Clutch to defend the Union MAX Title.

After the match, Takumi Tsukamoto challenged Abe to be his next challenger. However, Masato Kamino also came out asking for a title shot because he pinned Takato Nakano today. Abe called that a weak reason and suggested a No. 1 Contender match between Tsukamoto and Kamino. He would rather choose the challenger that way than defend the title against both in a 3 Way.

Daiki Shimomura and Leo Isaka both gestured they want a rematch with each other.

Daichi Kazato wants to bring the IRON FIST TAG Titles back to BASARA. He and Hiroshi challenged Speed Of Sounds to a title match at the next Shin-Kiba 1st RING show.

Kamifuku is also living up to her promise to become stronger for her friends who recently left Tokyo Joshi Pro. However, The Bakuretsu Sisters think it’s time that they get another chance to win the titles. They too have become stronger since the last time they fought for the belts.

The high school student Marika Kobashi is now a college student. Her return to the ring was delayed for months by COVID-19 but now is time for her comeback.

1. Takuho Kato defeated Tetsuo Usui with the Blockbuster Hold (6:10).
2. Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Osamu Nishimura when Kei pinned Hiroshi with the Gotai Fumanzoku (7:18).
3. Ryuichi Sekine, Daiki Shimomura & Minoru Fujita defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Yasu Urano & Leo Isaka when Shimomura pinned Isaka with the Orange Sunset (11:31).
4. Hardcore 6-Man Tag Match: Naoki Tanizaki, Akiyori Takizawa & SAGAT defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & Daichi Kazato when SAGAT pinned Kazato with the Goregrind (13:01).

At the end of the main event, Fuminori Abe thanked Ryota Nakatsu for being a strong rival. Suddenly, Brahman Kei appeared and distracted Abe long enough for Brahman Shu to sneak up and throw powder in his face. The Brahman Brothers then attacked Abe with a Stop sign. They did this because they want to take the Union MAX Title at the next Shin-Kiba 1st RING show on 29th September. Kei will be the one wrestling because Shu is worried he will get sick before the show again. Abe accepted the challenge but was warned by Kei that if he dies, he will fall into hell and be reborn as a maggot! Abe is not part of any unit in BASARA so he asked for Takuya Nomura to help him prepare. As a monk, Abe won’t be reincarnated into a maggot. When he dies he will go to paradise.

Nomura was given the middle finger by Isami Kodaka after their draw.

SAGAT is confirmed to be the newest member of Sparky. He has a new look to fit in with the unit including a yellow Big Van Vader style mask worn for his entrance.

BASARA’s 5th Anniversary show will be held in Korakuen Hall on 20th January.
