6. Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Isami Kodaka, Minoru Fujita & Ryuichi Sekine defeated FUMA, Yusuke Kubo & SAGAT (c) when Sekine submitted Kubo with the Let’s Combine (14:48).
*The Iron Family fails in V1. Sento Minzoku becomes the 30th Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Champions!
What on Earth happened here? A week ago The Iron Family win the Yokohama Shopping Street 6-Man Tag Team Titles and today in their first defence they lose the belts to Sento Minzoku! A win looked certain when FUMA stopped Ryuichi Sekine from doing the Let’s Combine on Yusuke Kubo. FUMA hit Sekine with a High Kick to the head, SAGAT did the Crucifixion Of Death and Kubo applied the Death Metal Roll. Luckily for Sekine, Isami Kodaka and Minoru Fujita were there to break the pin. Kubo went for the Goro Suplex several times but Sekine was able to avoid it and catch Kubo in the Let’s Combine for the unexpected submission victory!
FUMA demanded a rematch and encouraged the crowd to agree with him. However his appeal was cut off by a voice saying that they are owed a rematch first. The voice was coming from Abdullah Kobayashi and he was accompanied by Yoshihisa Uto & Hideki Suzuki! The previous champions came here today to get their titles back. Kodaka talked down to Uto by only recognising him as the wrestler he beat in Big Japan yesterday. He saw the mess this situation was becoming and came up with an idea to do a 3 Way Trios title match next month between Sento Minzoku, The Iron Family and the Kobayashi Gundan. The other teams agreed and left, allowing Kodaka to give attention to Sekine for winning the match.
The encounters between Ryota Nakatsu and Best Stretchman V3 in the semi-main event fired up V3. His hood was accidentally removed when he escaped from the V Slider and V3 was left vulnerable to a High Kick as he tried to fix it. V3 ignored his costume malfunction to continue fighting but he was put away with the V Slider. V3 had a bloody nose but he demanded a Union MAX Title shot against Nakatsu for next month. Nakatsu was confused by the challenge because he just beat him but he also sensed a fire burning inside of V3 when they fought so he accepted. V3 then said that BSM stands for something other than Best Stretchman. For this match the B stands for Best, the S stands for Sparky and the M stands for the wrestler that came from Union Pro who will become the next Union Max Champion! Yeah, nobody really understands why he thinks the M stands for that…
A recent online situation involving Manami Toyota and Bea Priestley revealed that Toyota has given permission to only two people for using her Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex: Tsukasa Fujimoto and Ikuto Hidaka. Today Hidaka used the move to win his tag match when Fuminori Abe reminded him he has Toyota’s blessing to do it.
The 2trap is Jun Masaoka’s version of the Tornado Clutch. When he beat Daiki Shimomura he pointed over to Kodaka, implying he wants to fight him next.
Akiyori Takizawa was put in court for a very dangerous crime in Japan, possession of cocaine! The prosecutor Banana Senga wanted to cite Pierre Taki as reference for the case but everyone cut him off because they didn’t want to get into any trouble. The referee was asked to give Takizawa a physical examination and he discovered white powder hidden in Takizawa’s kneepad. The defence lawyer Gouma Ryu identified the powder as just ordinary salt that Takizawa likes to use on his boiled eggs. However more white powder was found so Ryota Nakatsu and Naoki Tanizaki were called in as witnesses. Senga told everyone that the eye blacks seen on the Sparky wrestlers’ faces was actually signs of drug addiction! The topic of ASUKA PROJECT closing down was then brought up which caused Ryu and Senga to join forces and attack Takizawa. He fought both of them off to prove his innocence, pinning the two with a Choke Slam and Reverse DDT combo.

1. Troll Gundan Vs Kandata Gundan: Sanshiro Takagi & Saki Akai defeated Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine when Takagi pinned Machine with the Spicolli Driver onto a Club (13:09).
2. Troll Gundan Vs Kandata Gundan: Konosuke Takeshita, Sanshiro Takagi, HARASHIMA, Saki Akai & Shoko Nakajima defeated Kurochan, Super Sasadango Machine, Antonio Honda, Kazusada Higuchi & Yuki Iino (w/ Danshoku Dieno) when Takeshita pinned Iino with the Jigo Spark (12:10).
DDT teamed up with Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light to provide a few wrestling matches at a promotional event. The idea for the matches was one team represented the Troll forces and the other team were dressed as Kandata warriors. Sanshiro Takagi pulled off his Kandata mask during the first bout and challenged Danshoku Dieno to a game of Super Light on their phones. Takagi easily won because he’s been playing since the game launched five years ago while Dieno only started the game ten days ago. Dieno reminded Takagi they were having a pro wrestling match and he attacked him. Dieno later gave Saki Akai the Danshoku Driver but Takagi stopped the count. Takagi won the match by giving Super Sasadango Machine the Spicolli Driver onto Dieno’s Troll Club.
Later during the event the Troll Gundan returned to interrupt a panel hosted by Kurochan. They attempted to kidnap him until the Kandata Gundan came to the rescue. Kurochan held Dieno in place for Konosuke Takeshita to chop him but Dieno moved and Kurochan took the hit. Dieno used a Troll Spell to revive Kurochan and he agreed to become a Troll and take Dieno’s place in the second match. Kurochan played the phone game against Takagi and lost just like Dieno did. Takeshita also chopped him, this time on purpose. A bunch of Dragon Quest moves were used until Takeshita pinned Yuki Iino with the Jigo Spark.
The match results along with a fan poll determined that the Kandata Gundan was victorious over the Troll Gundan. Kurochan refused to accept defeat and challenged Takagi to measure their power levels in the game. If Kurochan won he would get to kiss Saki Akai. If he lost he would have to take one more chop from Takeshita but at 120% strength. Takeshita won the contest because he is at Level 294 and Kurochan is below him at Level 283. Takeshita chopped Kurochan. Akai then said she would give Kurochan a kiss if he closed his eyes. He did and he got a kiss from Dieno instead.

6 Shizuoka Triumph! Makoto Oishi Ambition Of Sengoku Gunyu-den ~Sontaku~ Survival 4 Way Match: Mad Paulie defeated Makoto Oishi, Konosuke Takeshita and HARASHIMA (15:29).
6a. Mad Paulie eliminated HARASHIMA by Ring Out (11:28).
6b. Mad Paulie eliminated Konosuke Takeshita by Ring Out (12:59).
6c. Mad Paulie eliminated Makoto Oishi with the Paulie Buster (15:29).
The main event 4 Way was held under elimination rules where getting knocked over the top rope and out of the ring would remove a wrestler from the match. Mad Paulie went on a tear by eliminating both HARASHIMA and Konosuke Takeshita by Ring Out. However the reason Takeshita got eliminated was so the hometown wrestler Makoto Oishi could stay in the match and win for his fans. Oishi was given extra motivation when DAMNATION found his wife Misaki Ohata and his mother Machiko sitting in the audience. Nobuhiro Shimatani grabbed Ohata and threw her into the ring for Paulie to attack her. Ohata got out of the way and her husband got ready to win the match. Unfortunately Paulie gave him the Paulie Buster and won instead.
Afterwards Daisuke Sasaki feigned disappointment in Oishi then calmed Paulie down with the promise of giving him porn when they go backstage. When they left, Ohata complained to Oishi over what just happened. When she retired from wrestling she was promised she would never have to step in the ring and get involved ever again. Also Oishi lost after both she and Takeshita helped him out. If he is meant to be the hero today then he better finish the show with something cool. Oishi apologised to the fans for losing but said whenever DDT comes to Shimizu, they get to see the cool side of Makoto Oishi. He doesn’t know when DDT will come back. It may even be ten years down the line. But Oishi will be there every time DDT comes back so please everyone bring at least two or three more friends with you to the show!
Yukio Sakaguchi and Keisuke Okuda got in each other’s faces after their loss to DAMNATION. They had to be pulled apart.
Antonio Honda used the excuse of a chronic disease induced seizure to talk about Gongitsune but MAO stopped him from doing it. Later Honda took the microphone again when he hurt his knee. This time it was to talk about MAO’s favourite anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The action went even weirder when the two duelled over pinching nipples. Honda blinded MAO with the Shining Gongitsune but even then a blinded MAO was able to put Honda in a Backslide Pin for the three count. MAO told Honda that he is extreme too then called for an intermission because he can’t see.
The DISASTER BOX reunion saw Shogo “Jet” Takagi do his jab combo in tune to “TOKYO GO!” Yuki Iino also wrestled part of the match in rugby headgear given to him by Takeshita. He kept wearing it for his haka victory dance while “Holding Out For A Hero” by Miki Asakura played in the arena.

6. TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) defeated Yuna Manase & Yuki Kamifuku when Sakazaki pinned Kamifuku with the Magical Magical Girl Splash (13:12).
*V5 for the Magical Sugar Rabbits.
The TOKYO Princess Tag Team Titles match took an unusual turn when Yuki Kamifuku disappeared and was replaced by a Good Looking Guy. The appearance of this Good Looking Guy motivated Yuna Manase until the Magical Sugar Rabbits pulled off the Guy’s jacket and sunglasses to reveal it was just Kamifuku in disguise. The Rabbits flattened the Kano Sisters with a Double Cross Body then Mizuki got Manase out of the ring. Kamifuku tried to fight back against Kamifuku but her Fame Asser was countered into into the Magical Merry Go Round. Yuka Sakazaki then hit the Magical Magical Girl Splash to win the match. The champions admitted today turned out to be a risky defence because their usual wrestling pace was broken by their challengers.
Misao is now winning matches but she isn’t satisfied. She feels miserable and curses her weakness. Sakisama says everyone has a destiny when they are born. Sakisama was born to be loved and convey beauty to the world. Others are born to give her a sense of superiority. Misao said they do not need weeds in this beautiful world for Sakisama.
Rika Tatsumi started her match wanting to do the Good Night Express instead of Raku. Everyone else even Tatsumi’s tag partners decided to do the Good Night Express on Tatsumi instead.
Pom Harajuku nearly won the 3 Way Match by pulling off a favourite trick of mine on her opponents. When Shoko Nakajima and Mina Shirakawa were battling over a Backslide Pin spot, Harajuku trip both of them as their arms were locked up and rolled the both of them onto their shoulders for a double pin. Both kicked out, Nakajima hit Harajuku with the 619, Shirakawa tried to give Nakajima an Oklahoma Roll but it was blocked and Nakajima pressed down on her to get the three count. Nakajima was frustrated over the result.
Hikari Noa and Pinano Pipipipi shared a bottle of tea together in the ring before their match as a sign of a clean fight. Noa instead knocked the bottle into Pinano and started the match.
NEO Biishiki-gun again interrupted the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) performance at the start of the show.

7a. Daruma-san ga Koronda Death Match: Muscle Sakai defeated HARASHIMA (c) by TKO (4:20).
7b. Telephone Death Match: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Muscle Sakai (4:50).
7c. Get Pinned For 3 Seconds Match: HARASHIMA (c) defeated Muscle Sakai with a High Kick From Below (4:25).
*V1 for HARASHIMA.
The creative juices were flowing for HARASHIMA and Muscle Sakai in their DDT Extreme Title match. It was best two out of three with a different stipulation in each fall. First fall was a game of Daruma-san ga Koronda. When that phrase was shouted into the microphone, both wrestlers had to freeze. If anyone moved they would be deducted a point and the first one to lose three points would be disqualified. Both HARASHIMA and Sakai lost their first point at the same time because the phrase was said while they were in the middle of a Brianbuster. HARASHIMA lost his second point while he was doing the Swan Dive Superplex. He was then DQ’ed when the phrase was called while he hit Sakai with the Somato.
Fall #2 was a Telephone Death Match. Both wrestlers had to constantly have a conversation with other people on their phones while they wrestled. If they get interrupted for three seconds they will lose. Sakai said he was at a disadvantage because he had poor reception in the ring. He was on the line to Michael Nakazawa and told him to come out and help when HARASHIMA was beating him. Nakazawa came out but his attack backfired and knocked Sakai’s phone away. Sakai couldn’t pick up his phone in time and he was counted out.
The third and final fall could only be won by a wrestler if he was pinned by his opponent. HARASHIMA purposely used moves that placed himself on his back and shoulders so he could get pinned but Sakai struggled away. Sakai gave HARASHIMA the Lehmann Shock twice and tried to do it a third time, enough to statistically guarantee he would win the match! But HARASHIMA suddenly kicked Sakai in the head and Sakai fell on top of him for the unintentional pin. This means HARASHIMA won the third fall and is ultimately the winner and still the Extreme Champion!
HARASHIMA thanked Sakai for the match but was quickly interrupted when Antonio Honda entered the ring only wearing a t-shirt, underwear and socks. He didn’t think about putting pants on because he is only focused on getting an Extreme Title shot! The matches he’s had when fighting for this title is the most he’s enjoyed wrestling so he wants to experience that again. Tetsuya Koda was against the idea because Honda doesn’t have the track record to deserve a title match. Hisaya Imabayashi stood up for Honda by pointing out he recently main evented Sumo Hall. That was enough to convince Koda and the title match was booked for the 28th April Korakuen Hall show.
The show was reaching its end so HARASHIMA invited Nakazawa to come out and have his farewell ceremony. Sanshiro Takagi handed Nakazawa a bouquet and admitted that even though he beat Nakazawa up over the last 14 years, he would have liked him to stay in DDT. But if Kenny Omega needs Nakazawa over in America for AEW then Takagi is more than happy to send him over. Nakazawa also said he would like to stay in DDT but he wants to help out his best friend Kenny. Nakazawa was given the 10 bell salute but it was interrupted by a video message from Omega himself! In the video Omega said it’s been a long time since he’s been with the DDT fans and he wishes he could have been at the show today. He apologised to DDT for stealing Nakazawa from them to be the AEW Vice President’s Vice President. AEW needs Nakazawa but Omega also knows that you should never forget your family. So even though Nakazawa is a part of AEW he will also continue to be a part of DDT! Nakazawa can still wrestle in DDT and who knows, maybe Kenny will also show up in DDT again someday? The video ended and Takagi’s first response was to give Nakazawa a Stunner. Maybe out of celebration for keeping Nakazawa or maybe because Omega is coming back to DDT someday. Either way it’s good news.
Both of the KO-D Tag Titles changed hands on the show today. The KO-D Tag Team Titles are back in the hands of DAMNATION when Daisuke Sasaki & Soma Takao beat The Moonlight Express. For weeks Sasaki had been in a slump losing one match after another. But with nothing left to lose he went to his cheating ways and that gave DAMNATION the chance to win. Sasaki attacked Mike Bailey with a chair then threw it at MAO when MAO jumped off the turnbuckle. The Express fought back and looked to have the match won when MAO went for the Cannonball 450 on Soma Takao while Bailey Moonsaulted out of the ring onto Sasaki. Bailey hit his target but Takao rolled away from MAO’s Cannonball. MAO tried to give Takao the Michinoku Driver I but Takao countered it into the Gin And Tonic to win.
Takao told everyone it’s been seven years since his previous KO-D Tag Title reign. He finally has it back. He would talk about it more but he has somewhere to go so he passed the microphone over to Sasaki. The DAMNATION leader mourned about today being his last day in DDT. He’s been here for 10 years and while it was good he now wants to go abroad and sign with a company like AEW. Tetsuya Endo and Mad Paulie cried as Sasaki walked away. Takao said thank you to Sasaki, something he has never said out loud. Nobuhiro Shimatani however saw an opportunity and declared himself the new leader of DAMNATION! It only lasted a few seconds because Sasaki got back into the ring and he gave Shimatani a Low Blow. Sasaki changed his mind. He is staying in DDT and will take over from Shimatani to become the new, third leader of DAMNATION!
The KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles also changed hands when the Sendai Girls defeated ALL OUT! The growing rivalry between Konosuke Takeshita and Meiko Satomura continued while they led their teams into battle. Yuki Iino found himself matching power with power against Chihiro Hashimoto while Akito faced off with DASH Chisako. Chisako dealt out RKOs and used a Top Rope Hurricanrana to fling Hashimoto onto Takeshita. Her momentum was stopped dead by Iino’s Spear. Hashimoto used her own Spears to great effect. The Sendai Girls isolated Iino and dropped him big with a Triple Tower Of Doom where Satomura & Chisako Superplexed him from an assisted Hashimoto Power Bomb. Iino struggled to fight out of Hashimoto’s grasp so Satomura hit him with the Scorpio Rising. From there Hashimoto pulled off the Albright German Suplex, resulting in new champions!
Satomura and Takeshita faced off after the match but a frustrated Takeshita backed off and left. Hashimoto told everyone that the Sendai Girls are the strongest out there among both men and women. Saki Akai then came down to the ring. She congratulated the new champions then said she wanted to be part of their first defence. Tetsuya Koda asked Akai if she has any tag partners. Akai admitted she doesn’t have any. She was so excited to come out and challenge the Sendai Girls that she never thought about who her partners should be. Satomura told Akai to go out and find her team. There is something about Akai that hasn’t been shown yet and Satomura wants to help wake up this sleeping talent.
The time for redemption was here for Gota Ihashi. After so much hard work he finally got to step in the ring again with Riki Choshu. Did he win Choshu’s respect? Eh… not really. Ihashi did his best and had the fan support despite getting pinned by Kazusada Higuchi. His effort even had Yukio Sakaguchi calling out to Choshu after the match to give the poor lad some credit. When asked about it backstage, Choshu said he didn’t care. He was fine teaming with Higuchi and Yuki Ueno though.
A sneaky Kazuki Hirata discovered that Furitsuke Kamen is unable to do his Pro Wrestling Exercises without his mask. So Hirata stole the mask before their match took place. Kamen confronted Hirata in the ring and the two duelled while the match continued. When Hirata thought he won he celebrated but Kamen chopped him in the neck and reclaimed his mask. Hirata then recovered and chopped back at Kamen. The two continued fighting until they started to like each other. They approached and looked like they were about to kiss when Makoto Oishi cradled Hirata for the three count. Hirata agreed to give Kamen his mask back so the entire venue could experience the Pro Wrestling Exercise. Everyone who was in the match was joined by Hiroshi Yamato, Pokotan and some masked dancers for a big dance performance.
Michael Nakazawa’s farewell match had a couple of restarts because he kept getting pinned within seconds. Eventually they all agreed to changed the 5 Vs 1 Handicap Match into a regular trios match. Miraculously, Nakazawa won by pinning Takagi! He got hug Takagi, Masahiro Takanashi and Tomomitsu Matsunaga and his farewell ceremony was pushed to the end of the show.
When Bull James was running wild in the opener, DAMNATION threw the trainee Nakamura into the ring to try and stop him. James picked up Nakamura and threw him out of the ring onto them instead! James went on to crush Shimatani with a Samoan Drop and then the Doink Drop for the win.
Shunma Katsumata used the Casadora to set up a Double Foot Stomp to win the pre-show match against Mizuki Watase.
Tenshin Nasukawa will be a special guest at the AbemaTowers Wrestling show on 29th March. Danshoku Dieno will also be there looking for the AbemaTV president again.
Next month’s Korakuen show will be sponsored by Souken Holdings. The company spokesman Mr. Nakano tried whatever he could to be part of the show opening announcements. He also offered to make entrance music for some of the wrestlers. His eagerness was such a nuisance that Takeshita had to chop him while Imabayashi held Nakano back. With Nakano taken care of, Takeshita changed the subject to his recent trip to the UK. He missed a connecting flight so his entire journey from Japan to England lasted 36 hours!
