Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans

1. SAGAT defeated Shota Kofuji with the Goregrind (8:58)
2. Takumi Tsukamoto & Ayumu Honda defeated KUBITO & Daichi Kazato when Honda submitted Kazato with an Arm Bar (11:19).
3. Minoru Fujita defeated Gouma Ryu with an Inside Cradle (0:18).
3a. Rematch: Gouma Ryu Vs Minoru Fujita ended in a Double Countout (5:14).
4. Isami Kodaka & Tomoki Hatano defeated Daiki Shimomura & Lil’ Kraken when Hatano pinned Kraken with the Suigintou (13:38)
5. Ryota Nakatsu, Kazusada Higuchi, Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida defeated Ryuichi Sekine, FUMA, Takato Nakano & Masato Kamino when Nakatsu pinned Nakano with the V Slider (14:57).

Naomi Yoshimura made his BASARA wrestling debut appearing with the rest of Harimao in the main event. He has appeared in BASARA as a second for the other Harimao wrestlers many times previously but today was his first time wrestling in BASARA. Ryota Nakatsu praised Hyakusho Ikki and Aijin Tag for being strong opponents before congratulating both Yoshimura & Kazusada Higuchi for being back. He also didn’t forget Yuki Ishida by telling him he’s glad he’s doing well. Nakatsu also revealed that back when Yoshimura was a trainee, Nakatsu tried scouting him for BASARA but DDT didn’t want to give him up because he is so good.

When Match #3 ended in under 20 seconds, Gouma Ryu asked for an immediate rematch and accused Minoru Fujita of being a fee thief when he was refused. Fujita was offended by the remark and challenged Ryu to put his legal career on the line if he really wants the rematch. Ryu agreed and fought his heart out because his career as a lawyer is more important to him then pro wrestling. The two ended up fighting out of the ring and both were counted out. Gouma didn’t win but he didn’t lose either so his legal job is safe.

Judomaster had to pull out of the show after suffering from gout so Ayumu Honda took his place.

BASARA “BASARA 272 ~TAKAGARI 27~” Results

March 2, 2025

BASARA “BASARA 272 ~TAKAGARI 27~”, 02/03/2025
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. KUBITO & Yasu Urano defeated Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Ayumu Honda when KUBITO submitted Hiroshi with an Ankle Hold (11:48).
2. Daiki Shimomura & Keisuke Ishii defeated Isami Kodaka & Takato Nakano when Shimomura pinned Nakano with the Swanton Bomb (10:26).
3. Kuishinbo Kamen defeated Daichi Kazato with the Be Back Hold (10:52).
4. Ryuichi Sekine, Takumi Tsukamoto & FUMA defeated SAGAT, Lil’ Kraken & Akira Jo when FUMA pinned Kraken with the Heavy Metal Anthem (16:22).
5. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu defeated Masato Kamino (c) with the Super Figure 4 Arm Lock (20:32).
*Masato Kamino fails in V2. Ryota Nakatsu becomes the 23rd Union MAX Champion!

When Ryota Nakatsu challenged Masato Kamino to a Union MAX Title match it was because he accused Kamino for lacking humility as a champion. He cared more about his muscles than he did for the belt. Perhaps he learned his lesson today because Nakatsu defeated him and became the new champion! The difference maker came when Nakatsu countered Kamino’s Lariat with a Jumping Armbar and turned it into what he calls the Super Figure 4 Arm Lock. Nakatsu reminded Kamino that he didn’t show enough love for the title or BASARA. However he was able to make it this far from his love of muscles alone so he can keep going that direction as long as he shows a little gratitude to the company every now and then. Kamino understood and shook Nakatsu’s hand. He also bowed to everyone before leaving ringside. Nakatsu then thanked Kazusada Higuchi & Naomi Yoshimura for being in his corner to represent Harimao today.

Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA were challenged by Daiki Shimomura & Keisuke Ishii for the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles. What links those two together is they are both from Saitama. Ishii wants a shot because he has never held that championship before. FUMA told Ishii he needs more justification than that to ask for a title match. However FUMA has never beaten Ishii before so he accepted the challenge.

The referee got annoyed at Daichi Kazato and Kuishinbo Kamen for joking around instead of having a wrestling match. Kazato’s response to that was “What’s a match?” He later missed a Firebird Splash and Kamen lightly pushed him over into the Be Back Hold for the pinfall victory.

The opening match was changed when Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi pulled out at the last minute due to love sickness. Judomaster replaced him and convinced Ayumu Honda to wrestle in a judo uniform like he does. But Yasu Urano hates having to fight people who wear those uniforms and unmasked Judomaster, forcing him to flee. Somehow Hiroshi returned from his sickness and rejoined the match in Judomaster’s place. His performance was still rusty and he ended up attacking Honda by accident, causing Honda to leave ringside in anger. Hiroshi then called for help and Judomaster returned but looking slightly different this time. However he took too long to get to the ring. By the time he climbed in, Hiroshi gave up to KUBITO’s Ankle Lock.

A ten bell salute was given at the start of the show for the recent passing of Osamu Nishimura.

It looks like Takeshi Masada and Antonio Honda are taking sides already too.

Before KANON can get his hands on Daisuke Sasaki, first he will have to get past MJ Paul.

BASARA “BASARA 271 ~HIEN~” Results

February 21, 2025

BASARA “BASARA 271 ~HIEN~”, 21/02/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Isami Kodaka & Takato Nakano defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & Shota Kawakami when Kodaka submitted Kawakami with an STF (13:36).
2. Ayumu Honda defeated KUBITO with the Jumping Armbar (8:36).
3. Ayato Yoshida defeated Daiki Shimomura with the Revenge For Your Booing (13:13).
4. Ryota Nakatsu defeated Yuki Ishida with the V Slider (11:58).
5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA defeated Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura (c) when Sekine submitted Abe with the Let’s Combine (17:57).
*Astronauts fail in V5. Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA become the 13th Iron Fist Tag Team Champions!

With Sento Minzoku now in the rear view, Ryuiche Sekine has found new success for himself by joining forces with FUMA to win the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles! The pair of wrestlers have bonded over both being farmers away from the wrestling ring as well as having similar backgrounds in karate. Fuminori Abe tried to break down Sekine with his submissions and limb work but found no help from his partner Takuya Nomura because FUMA had cut him off. FUMA took care of Nomura with an Exploder Suplex while Sekine wore down Abe with Low Roundhouse Kicks until he applied the Combine and Abe gave up.

Sekine thanked their opponents for the match and promised them he and FUMA will help grow the Iron Fist Tag Titles Astronauts had been nurturing so carefully. Sekine & FUMA then decided they will aim for 100 title defences together! Abe admitted defeat and compared Sekine’s Combine submission to Suwama’s Last Ride Power Bomb as the moves that hurt his back the worst. Nomura promised he will get stronger from tomorrow and will be back in BASARA soon.

Win, lose or draw Yuki Ishida was happy to wrestle Ryota Nakatsu in a match filled with the Harimao and Dosukoi spirit. The other members Kazusada Higuchi and Naomi Yoshimura were at the show too. Higuchi said he would like to wrestle in BASARA again after his return match in DDT happens. Nakatsu would like the whole unit to appear together in BASARA again.

Over the last few months Ayato Yoshida has been getting boos from fans over in 2AW. It carried over to BASARA today because the fans were booing him after every action he made in his match against Daiki Shimomura. Yoshida got the last laugh by winning the match with his Pump Kick finisher called the Revenge For Your Booing. He also called the fans drunks as he was leaving the ring.

Ayumu Honda also didn’t show good sportsmanship in his match with KUBITO. After Honda beat KUBITO with a Jumping Armbar, he held up KUBITO’s arm after the match only to jump him and attack the limb even more.

A press conference was held by DDT today to promote the D GENERATIONS CUP final. It was there when Takeshi Masada and Yuya Koroku were told that the final is going to main event Korakuen Hall! The surprise completely threw Masada off guard because up until now he had everything calculated and going to plan. The final being moved to the main event wasn’t part of those calculations. He tried to play it cool and still thinks he will win and move on to challenge Chris Brookes for the KO-D Openweight Title. Koroku does not care who the KO-D Champion will be if he wins the final and gets the title shot instead.

Super Sasadango Machine takes Iino’s place in the Pheromones reunion match. That means the 3 Way Match he was originally booked for is now just Kazuki Hirata against Antonio Honda.

4. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title Next Challenger Battle Royal: HARUKAZE defeated Hagane by Ring Out (11:23).
Order Of Elimination: Ryan Davidson, Moeka Haruhi, Chikara, Shuichiro Katsumura, Takeshi Okada and Hagane.
5. Ganbare☆Climax 2018 – Round 1 – No DQ & No Ropes Match: Survival Tobita defeated Ken Ohka with the Piledriver onto a Chair (13:10).
6. Ganbare☆Climax 2018 – Round 1 – No DQ & No Ropes Match: Yumehito Imanari defeated Shin Mokujin Ken by Knockout with a Diving Elbow from the balcony (8:10).

The 2018 Ganbare☆Climax kicked off in violent fashion with the top two matches of the 1st Round. It was agreed that the main event and semi-main event would take place under Saitama Wrestling rules which meant no DQs, no countouts and no ropes attached to the ring. Yumehito Imanari knew that he had to go the extra mile to beat the stiff wooden monster known as Shin Mokujin Ken so he dressed Commando style for the match. He hid underneath a box so he could ambush Ken during its entrance but Ken was ready for him. Next, Imanari took out a machine gun and fired at Ken but the creature was not effected by the bullets. They brawled outside over to the balcony and Imanari knocked Ken into the wall with the Chubby Knee strike. Ken fell on top of a pile of boxes and couldn’t get up. Imanari then finished it off by finding his way up to the balcony and jumping off to hit a Diving Elbow Drop! Imanari was able to get up but Ken couldn’t answer the referee so Imanari was declared the winner by Knockout! When the match was over Imanari said for the last month he hated Ken. But today he felt a fresh sensation when they fought each other. Imanari now realises Ken isn’t a monster, he’s more like a forest fairy! Imanari broke down into tears and apologised for shooting Ken with a machine gun. He admits that was unnecessary. The world needs to be more peaceful and to do that Imanari will wrestle his enemies instead of shooting guns at them. Ken accepted his apology and the two gave each other a fist bump.

The other No Ropes, No DQ Match did not have as happy of an ending. Last year’s Ganbare☆Climax winner Ken Ohka was eliminated by Survival Tobita! Ohka was busted open early during an outside brawl and Tobita made it worse with more weapon attacks including a sawblade and a plunger. Ohka fought back with his own weapons which were all ordinary items found inside a suitcase. He got a nearfall with the Fire Spear outside the ring. The match went back into the ring and Ohka tried to finish off Tobita with a Piledriver. But Tobita countered it with a Back Body Drop onto chairs and the suitcase. Tobita hit a Piledriver of his own onto the chairs and that got him the win. Both men were on the mat by the end but Tobita still had enough in him to speak. He questioned if Ohka did his best today. Tobita gives his best because he knows as a 50 year old man that it will all be taken away from him someday. If Ohka is just going to tread water he may as well go smoke cigarettes instead of wrestle. Tobita told Ohka to ask himself again what is Ganbare☆Wrestling? Ohka still has more to do to answer that.

In the remaining 1st Round matches Shota beat a grumpy Mitsuo Momota by holding onto his tights during a School Boy. Shinichiro Tominaga eliminated Yuu Yamagata from the tournament by kissing her for a distraction then rolling her up with a Small Package for the three count. The semi-finals tomorrow will be Shota Vs Imanari and Tobita Vs Tominaga.

Besides the Ganbare☆Climax opening round, the rest of the show was all about the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title. The day kicked off with Keisuke Ishii successfully defending the belt against Ayumu Honda. Later in the show HARUKAZE won a Battle Royal to get the next title shot tomorrow. The match included a last minute entry from Texas wrestler Ryan Davidson. He looked to be a threat early so the rest of the field all joined forces to eliminate him. Ishii congratulated HARUKAZE for winning the match and told her it was great to see a woman getting a title match. He then called for his next challenger to come into the ring. HARUKAZE told Ishii that she is the next challenger. Ishii was a little annoyed by the idea but he agreed to the match. He won’t lose to a chick show! HARUKAZE got fired up and told Ishii she will beat him to become the new champion tomorrow!

5. This Is Ganbare☆Wrestling! ~Charisma Vs Revolutionary~: Ken Ohka Vs Yumehito Imanari ended in a No Contest when Survival Tobita and Shin Mokujin Ken interfered. (13:30).
5a. Emergency Special Match: Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari defeated Survival Tobita & Shin Mokujin Ken by Disqualification when Ken attacked the referee (2:33).

The battle for Ganbare☆Wrestling went in a bizarre direction when the main event was interrupted by Survival Tobita and a new version of one of his most infamous monster wrestlers Shin Mokujin Ken (I think the original was killed by Mecha Mummy in Chikara Pro)! Tobita gave Ken Ohka a Piledriver while Ken attacked Yumehito Imanari. Ohka immediately changed the main event into a tag team match but that was thrown out when Ken attacked the referee. Tobita told Ohka he wasn’t working hard enough. Tobita is crazier than Ohka is and to prove it he captured Mokujin Ken and brought him to Ganpro to cause some chaos! Ohka called for a truce with Imanari so they can fight back together. They decided that Ohka will face Tobita and Imanari will fight Ken in the first round of the Ganbare☆Climax on 11th August! Imanari said that the Imanari Revolution is no joke. His dream is to lead Ganpro back to Korakuen Hall!

Ayumu Honda used the referee as a shield to block Chikara and leave him open for the Cross Armbreaker. After the match Keisuke Ishii announced he will defend the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title against Honda on 11th August. Honda wanted to change the date because he is already booked for a K-DOJO show in Chiba that day. Ishii convinced Honda to take the match because the Ganpro show in Narimasu takes place early in the afternoon while the K-DOJO show will be at night.

Shuichiro Katsumura & Facade are both ninjas so they made a good team today. They both did ninja poses to celebrate their win.

HARUKAZE wanted a rematch with Moeka Haruhi on 11th August but there is not enough room on the card to make it happen. Ohka instead offered to enter both HARUKAZE and Haruhi into the Battle Royal to determine who faces the Independent World Jr. Champion the next day. Both accepted.

The Uguisudani Crossface used by Shinichiro Tominaga is also known as the Buffalo Sleeper.

The eight participants for the 2018 Ganbare☆Climax are Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari, Shinichiro Tominaga, Shota, Survival Tobita, Shin Makujin Ken, Mitsuo Momota and Yuu Yamagata.
