It’s good to see Vent Vert Jack again. I wanted him to stick around with or without the DDTeeeen!! project but it just wasn’t meant to be.

When in doubt, go to the college pro wrestling clubs for some new blood. Kyushu Sangyo University has four wrestlers on offer: Ionazun Shirai, Tiger Nishiya Mask, Great Tamu and Occult Daimao.

DDT “SWEET DREAMS! 2024 TOUR IN OSAKA DAY 1”, 06/01/2024
Osaka 176BOX

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles – DEAD OR ALIVE Contra DEAD OR ALIVE: Jun Akiyama, Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi (c) Vs Bodyguard, Tsutenkakka & X

A dispute has emerged over the D.O.A name. The initials used by the team means “Dead Or Alive”. However that is also the name of Bodyguard’s theme song and he does not want anybody else using the phrase while he’s around. He is putting together a team made up of Osaka wrestlers to challenge the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions. If Bodyguard’s team win then they get the belts and D.O.A must give up their team name. Tsutenkakka volunteered to be one of the members of the team. The other will be whoever from Osaka that Bodyguard thinks has enough guts to take on the challenge.

D-Oh Grand Prix 2023

November 6, 2023

The 2023 edition of the D-Oh Grand Prix is taking place from the end of November until the start of January with the final taking place on DDT’s annual New Year’s show at Korakuen Hall on 3rd January. As usual, the tournament format is a two block round robin with the winners of each group meeting in the final. Both blocks contain 6 wrestlers so everybody will compete in 5 matches, each with a 30 minute time limit. The final on 3rd January has no time limit. Every win is worth 2 points, most types of draws are worth 1 point each and every loss is worth 0 points. Also matches that end in a Double Countout or a No Contest are worth 0 points. In the case of ties for first place, the result of the block match between the wrestlers involved will be used as the tiebreaker. If that match was a draw then a sudden death match will be held to determine who goes through to the final. Kenta Kobashi remains in his role as the chairman of the tournament committee.

Yuki Ueno (5th Appearance, 2022 Winner)
Tetsuya Endo (7th Appearance)

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE TOUR IN SPRING ’23”, 25/06/2023
Fukuoka Nishitetsu Hall
437 Fans – Super No Vacancy

1. Suzume defeated Shino Suzuki with the Ring A Bell (5:44).
2. Moka Miyamoto defeated Toga with the Rashomon (5:29).
3. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao defeated Arisu Endo and HIMAWARI when Misao pinned HIMAWARI with a Jackknife Pin (6:55).
4. Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta defeated Yuki Arai & Haru Kazashiro when Noa pinned Kazashiro with the Running Neckbreaker Drop (9:54).
5. Mizuki defeated Mahiro Kiryu with the Diving Foot Stomp (10:47).
6. Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku defeated Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Kaya Toribami when Aino pinned Toribami with the Venus DDT (13:33).
7. Miyu Yamashita & Shoko Nakajima Vs Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku ended in a Time Limit Draw (20:00).

The hometown heroes Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh were on opposite sides of the main event. Yamashita teamed up with Shoko Nakajima while Itoh was paired with Yuki Kamifuku. The match lasted the full 20 minutes with no winner by the end. In the final moments Itoh gave Yamashita a Tornado DDT and Kamifuku stopped Nakajima from coming for the save by giving her the Famouser. The bell rang before Itoh could do anything to get the finish she wanted.

Both Yamashita and Itoh wanted the match to continue but their tag partners declined, preferring both teams to have a temporary truce. Itoh said she will never team with Yamashita again but changed her mind when Yamashita said business is business. Itoh then said she wants Tokyo Joshi Pro to run the bigger Fukuoka Convention Center the next time they come here. They can even do Yamashita Vs Itoh as the main event!

Yuki Aino was fired up to bring the fight to Rika Tatsumi. The two went back and forth during their time in the ring with Arai coming out on top. She countered the Twist Of Fate by freeing herself behind Tatsumi, lifting her up into an Electric Chair position and then dropping her forward onto the canvas. Arai then went on to pin Kaya Toribami with the Venus DDT. Aino said the matches between Tatsumi and herself are heating up. She thinks when the time comes for their International Princess Title bout to happen the two of them will burn each other into ashes!

DDT “WHAT ARE YOU DOING 2023 TOUR IN HAKODATE”, 16/06/2023
Hakodate City General Wholesale Center Distribution Hall

2. SILVER QUEEN Infomercial Match: Sanshiro Takagi & Kazuki Hirata Vs MAO & Yoshihiko
3. HARASHIMA & Hideki Okatani Vs Kazusada Higuchi & Yuya Koroku

5. Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul Vs Toy Kojima & Rukiya
6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Yuji Hino, Makoto Oitshi & Yukio Sakaguchi Vs Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada

I don’t normally write up news updates while shows are going on but today is an unusual exception. One of DDT’s ring trucks did not arrive in time for the show so as of writing the ring is bare, missing all of its canvas mats, corner pads and ring aprons. They decided to go on with the show wrestling on the exposed wood panels but DDT has gotten in contact with a nearby wrestling promotion to rent out the remaining equipment they need. The match order was changed so now the comedy stuff will go on first (Pheromones will humiliate you but they’re not going to head drop you onto the canvas) and as soon as the rented equipment arrives the show will go to intermission and get the ring fully ready.

Nao Kakuta has a back injury and will not be wrestling this weekend. Her tag match will now be a 3 Way Match between Shoko Nakajima, Arisu Endo and Kaya Toribami. As you will see below she is on the schedule to wrestle next week so hopefully it is just a minor injury.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW LIVE TOUR IN SPRING ’23”, 25/06/2023

1. Suzume Vs Shino Suzuki
2. Moka Miyamoto Vs Toga
3. Mizuki Vs Mahiro Kiryu
4. 3 Way Match: Hyper Misao Vs Arisu Endo Vs HIMAWARI
5. Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta Vs Yuki Arai & Haru Kazashiro
6. Rika Tatsumi, Miu Watanabe & Kaya Toribami Vs Yuki Aino, Raku & Pom Harajuku
7. Miyu Yamashita & Shoko Nakajima Vs Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku

I’m going to spend a long time wondering about that Tokyo Joshi Pro update back from the end of March. They said at the time that Miyu Yamashita’s return from excursion could have been delayed if a big opportunity came her way. TJPW was right to put that out given how much they rely on ticket sales and cannot risk even slightly damaging their customer base’s trust over any kind of false advertising. It’s why you so often see Japanese promotions giving updates and offering apologies over even the most inconsequential setbacks that changes the show lineups while in other countries you can get out of luck and be stuck with “Card Subject To Change” as the only excuse. So there had to have been something discussed between Yamashita and another party over a big booking somewhere. That her return falls on the same weekend as AEW and New Japan holding the second Forbidden Door PPV sent a lot of people’s imaginations into a frenzy, myself included. Was it all a coincidence? Did TJPW put the original message out there just in case Yamashita got an offer from anybody, not just AEW, to extend her stay in America just that little bit longer? Or was there a deal somewhere that fell apart? I think it’s the former but that’s because it will drive me up the wall if it turns out to be the latter.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT ~FUKUOKA PERFORMANCE~” Results

June 26, 2022

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW CITY CIRCUIT ~FUKUOKA PERFORMANCE~”, 26/06/2022
Fukuoka Nishitetsu Hall
270 Fans – Super No Vacancy Full House

1. Moka Miyamoto defeated Kaya Toribami with the Rashomon (6:13).
2. One Spray OK Rule Match: Hyper Misao defeated Arisu Endo with the Hypami Returns (8:02).
3. Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta defeated Suzume & Haruna Neko when Noa pinned Neko with the Blizzard Suplex (9:35).
4. 3 Way Match: Rika Tatsumi defeated Yuki Kamifuku and Raku when Tatsumi pinned Taku with the Missile Hip (7:20).
5. Yuka Sakazaki, Mizuki & Mahiro Kiryu defeated Miu Watanabe, Pom Harajuku & Yuki Arai when Sakazaki pinned Harajuku with the Magical Merry-Go-Round (13:13).
6. Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh defeated Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino when Yamashita pinned Aino with the Skull Kick (16:35).

121000000 were the hometown heroes in Fukuoka today. The last time Tokyo Joshi Pro were in the area was March 2019 so Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh were both at their most motivated to do their best. They linked up to hit their big High Kick/Headbutt Sandwich to both Shoko Nakajima & Yuki Aino. Yamashita then finished Aino off with the Skull Kick. Itoh told the fans they were able to win because of Fukuoka power. Yamashita now believes she & Itoh have no limits as a tag team. Backstage Itoh suggested the next time TJPW comes to Fukuoka, 121000000 should get a Princess Tag Team Titles match.

Speaking of the Tag Titles, The Magical Sugar Rabbits got a little preview match against one of their next challengers Yuki Arai. This was the second day in a row Yuka Sakazaki fought her. She praised Arai for showing guts and a competitive spirit this weekend. It makes Sakazaki wonder what the matches would have been like if Saki Akai was there too. Mizuki is determined to beat Reiwa no AA Cannon so she can go one step closer towards achieving her dream to defend the Tag Titles in outer space! Arai later revealed she has relatives living in Fukuoka and they got to see her wrestle.

Hyper Misao and Arisu Endo agreed to a rule change for their match. They were both allowed one spray attack each without penalty. Misao did it first but Endo returned the attack later in the match. A ref bump gave Misao an opportunity to spray Endo a second time. Endo kept fighting and escaped from the Chickenwing Face Lock but Misao ended up beating her anyway with the Hypami Returns.

The identity of Chris Brookes’ tag partner on 3rd July will be revealed during tomorrow’s show. The clues so far are it is a foreign wrestler but, to my surprise, it is not somebody Brookes is already an acquaintance with. So that means it is not Drew Parker or a Kid Lykos or like 90% of the British wrestling scene for that matter. Brookes himself is trying to find out before the show takes place and is badgering Sanshiro Takagi online to at least send him a LINE message about it. Takagi has also said it is not Joey Janela making an early appearance, meaning it is a sign there are more foreign wrestlers coming to DDT this year.

6. KO-D Openweight Title – King Of DDT 2022 – Final: X Vs X

The four remaining wrestlers in King Of DDT gave their thoughts going into the final rounds. Yuki Ueno wants to use his skills to spread DDT across the world and this tournament is his chance to do that. Naomi Yoshimura credits his size advantage for getting through the first two rounds. He is also letting those results speak for themselves rather than fighting on behalf of the people he has defeated like the others. Kazusada Higuchi wants to win the vacant KO-D Openweight Title and become DDT’s symbol of strength while he waits for Tetsuya Endo to return. Jun Akiyama just said now is the time for DDT to show their strength and he will lead the charge.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’22”, 09/07/2022

7. Special Single Match: Thunder Rosa Vs Miyu Yamashita
8. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki (c) Vs Saki Akai & Yuki Arai
9. Princess Of Princess Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi

Rika Tatsumi is excited for her main event match because she gets to fight on the stage of her dreams. She wants to make Shoko Nakajima feel the same way and have a crazy match for the Princess Of Princess Title. Tatsumi is hoping to discover a side of herself she has never seen before. Nakajima senses TJPW is getting momentum and she wants to stay at the forefront of it. She can tell Tatsumi wants to be in the same position so she is really looking forward to the match.

A fresh new challenge has appeared for The Magical Sugar Rabbits, even if there is something vaguely familiar with it. I don’t know, I can’t help but feel like I’ve seen this scenario develop three times already… Yuka Sakazaki thinks the Princess Tag Team Titles are characterized by a wide variety of matches and Mizuki wants to make them even more valuable. Reiwa AA Cannon are fitting opponents for those reasons because it is two high profile women teaming together. Yuki Arai feels blessed to be surrounded by wonderful senpais and wants to make the most out of her opportunities. Winning the Tag Titles is not her ultimate goal in wrestling but is part of the process. Saki Akai thinks she needs to get to know Arai better because this will only be their third time teaming together. Their opponents have been strongly bonded together by friendship for years!

An unusual opening match has been added to the card. On paper it was 3 Vs 2 with Ganbare Tamagawa, Nobuhiro Shimatani & HARUKAZE on one side against Onryo & YuuRI. However Onryo & YuuRI will be joined by a third person. Munenori Sawa will be in their corner. He’s been officially retired from pro wrestling for years now but he’ll find some excuse to get physically involved in the match without breaking his commitment to stay retired.

5. Special Tag Match: MAO & Shunma Katsumata Vs Chris Brookes & X
6. KO-D Openweight Title – King Of DDT 2022 – Final: X Vs X

The King Of DDT final four are Kazusada Higuchi, Jun Akiyama, Yuki Ueno and Naomi Yoshimura. The semi-finals divide them into two existing rivalries. Higuchi and Akiyama put aside their past differences to work as a functional tag team at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022” but the premature ending to that match left that loose thread up in the air. Both have promised to become the KO-D Openweight Champion on behalf of Tetsuya Endo and carry on in his place while he is injured. Ueno and Yoshimura have become rivals since their tag team Nautilus split up. Yoshimura has beaten Ueno in all of their previous singles matches.

A mystery wrestler is teaming up with Chris Brookes to take on MAO & Shunma Katsumata? Who could it be? Maybe it’s a certain Welshman who Brookes and The 37KAMIINA have been in the ring with before. No, not CdawgVA!

9. Princess Of Princess Title: Shoko Nakajima (c) Vs Rika Tatsumi

The complete card for “SUMMER SUN PRINCESS ’22” was revealed today. The Magical Sugar Rabbits have been challenged by Reiwa AA Cannon for the Princess Tag Team Titles. Special guests from AEW feature up and down the show with the big match being Thunder Rosa Vs Miyu Yamashita in a first time meeting. Riho pops up to team with Arisu Endo against Mei Suruga & Suzume. Previous opponents Hikaru Shida & Hikari Noa are now on the same team as they take on the newly renamed Toyo Mates. There is going to be so much joy and power on show when Miu Watanabe and Willow Nightingale are in the same ring together. Aja Kong has her first match back in Tokyo Joshi Pro since October. Karate meets Karate when Moka Miyamoto faces Juria Nagano.

A challenger has been found for Maki Itoh. Over in England this past weekend, Alex Windsor won the SHE-1 tournament in Pro Wrestling: EVE. During her victory speech, she called out Itoh and demanded a shot at the International Princess Title! Itoh received the message and accepted the challenge so Windsor will soon be on her way to Japan.

Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium

1. Shinichiro Kawamatsu Debut Match: Shinichiro Kawamatsu Vs X
2. International Special Hardcore Match: Joey Janela Vs Shunma Katsumata
3. DDT Universal Title: Masahiro Takanashi (c) Vs X
4. KO-D Openweight Title: KO-D Champion (c) Vs X

The tycoon of America’s indie scene finally arrives in DDT! Joey Janela has long been sought after by Sanshiro Takagi going back to the Social Distancing match GCW held very early into the pandemic. He will be arriving in Japan a week earlier but his first confirmed match is taking place at “WRESTLE PETER PAN 2022”. He takes on Katsumata in a Hardcore Match. Since Janela is nicknamed “The Bad Boy”, Katsumata is now calling himself “The Happy Boy”.

Shinichiro Kawamatsu is returning to DDT to have a proper debut pro wrestling match. The politician wasn’t satisfied with his previous wrestling match relying on his bodyguard only to get beaten into submission once he had to fight for himself. So he is finding time during his political duties to train for a proper match. He actively trains in Jiu Jitsu so he already has some martial arts experience to lean on.

6. Daisuke Sasaki & KANON defeated Yuji Hino & Yuki Ishida when Sasaki submitted Ishida with the Crossface Lock (15:04).
7. BURNING Vs Eruption!: Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada defeated Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Hideki Okatani when Endo pinned Okatani with the Burning Star Press (16:39).

There are two weeks to go until “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022” and DDT’s big team to fight against NOAH still aren’t finding their groove together. Kazusada Higuchi fought against his upcoming tag partners Tetsuya Endo & Jun Akiyama in the main event. Afterwards Endo told him they need to join forces if they all want to beat Naomichi Marufuji. He knows that Higuchi only listens to wrestlers above him on the pecking order so it will be up to Akiyama to get through and convince him. Higuchi remains bullish and believes he can beat the NOAH team if the others leave him alone. He’ll prove it by beating Yoshiki Inamura at the NOAH Show this weekend.

Having Atsushi Onita as the special guest on the show meant his match was going to turn into a street fight one way or another. Shunma Katsumata was his target in particular. He and Shinya Aoki blinded him with double Poison Mist and then Onita put him through a table with a Piledriver. HARASHIMA struggled to get past Yuki Ueno but took control of the finishing stretch when Toi Kojima was the legal man. HARASHIMA pinned Kojima with the Somato and celebrated with his teammates. Backstage Katsumata swore revenge on Onita by beating him and taking his leather jacket to become “Evil Ways” of the Reiwa generation!

Saki Akai and Maya Yukihi had one more preview tag bout against each other before their anticipated rematch takes place tomorrow. Akai wants to show everyone that beating Yukihi is not an easy task but she also wants to enjoy the match as it happens. Yukihi on the other hand is putting more pressure on herself to win tomorrow so she will have something to show for the last five months of wrestling in DDT.

MAO already wrestled earlier today at a ChocoPro show but travel issues made him miss his match in DDT. Toru Owashi refused to wrestle a Handicap Match so he needed to have a replacement partner. Pheromones convinced the GM Hisaya Imabayashi to fill in for MAO at the last minute. However MAO finally showed up midway through the match and tried to take his spot back. He wiped out Danshoku Dieno & Yuki Iino with a Plancha and pretty much had the match won by himself. But Imabayashi cut MAO off and threatened to punish him with a pay cut for interfering. Iino recovered and gave Imabayashi the Ketsugoye for the win.

Chris Brookes was pulled from the show because of a right ankle injury he suffered in training. He will also miss tomorrow’s show. Akito took his place in Match #4.

5. Miyu Yamashita & Pom Harajuku Vs Yuki Kamifuku & Nao Kakuta
6. Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao Vs Mizuki & Arisu Endo

All is well and good between Kyoraku Kyomei after the Princess Of Princess Title earlier this month. Yuka Sakazaki is staying in America for the rest of this month so it is up to Mizuki & Arisu Endo to fight Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao on her behalf.

This will be Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh’s last match in Japan this month before they go over to America for their bookings with Prestige Wrestling. Your guess is as good as mine if there are any suprise appearances either will make between now and then.

As mentioned above, Sakazaki’s excursion to AEW will last for the rest of the month so she will not be on this show. Her first match back in Tokyo Joshi Pro will be on 4th June. TJPW have said that more international bookings for their roster will happen after June and they will inform the fans about them when they happen.

7. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles Tournament – Final: Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul & KANON Vs Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Hideki Okatani

Akito has been convinced to audition for Pheromones to keep the unit under control. The implication that doing this will earn Akito enough trust from CyberFight that he will then some day be promoted to company president is motivating him to go along with the plan. He promised to take it further by gaining Pheromones’ trust before destroying them from the inside. They are going to try out a few warm up tag team matches before fully committing to the big 8-Man Tag Match at “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022”. This changes the first two matches on the card to accommodate this new plan.

The build up to “WRESTLE SEKIGAHARA” goes up a notch here. Yumehito Imanari and Ken Ohka are now wrestling in the same matches to prepare for the Spirit Of Ganbare Title bout.

Pocchari Joshi has a new lease of life with the new additions of Maika Ozaki & Yappy to the brand. Yuna Manase now wants to gather together with them and test what they are made of against the regular Ganbare☆Joshi group.

Wrestlers advertised to appear include Tatsuhito Takaiwa, Tsuyoshi Okada, Naoya Nomura, Tyson Maeguchi and Ryuya Matsufusa.

A warm up tag match for Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Kazusada Higuchi before “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022”. Higuchi’s comments on their match against the NOAH team shows he isn’t on the same page with BURNING at the moment. It’s not out of skill level or opinions on each other. More that he has his own idea of beating NOAH that doesn’t mix with how the other two think they can win.

2. Shishamo Power Debut Match: Shishamo Power & Antonio Honda defeated Akito & Yukio Naya when Power pinned Akito with La Magistral Cradle (11:11).
3. DDTeeeen!! Special Single Match: Vent Vert Jack defeated El Unicorn with an Ankle Hold (12:10).
4. 3 Way Match: HARASHIMA defeated Yuji Hino and Yuki Ishida when HARASHIMA pinned Ishida with the Somato (12:29).
5. Danshoku “Dandy” Dieno & Yuki “Sexy” Iino Vs Soma Takao & Kazuki Hirata ended in a No Contest (11:27).
6. Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul defeated Kazusada Higuchi & Hideki Okatani when Sasaki submitted Okatani with the Crossface Lock (12:07).
7. The 37KAMIINA Vs BURNING!: Konosuke Takeshita, Yuki Ueno & MAO defeated Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yuya Koroku when Takeshita pinned Koroku with the Zahi (17:35).

Before the main event began, Jun Akiyama tried to roll up MAO in a failed attempt to win the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title. MAO spent the rest of the show paranoid that someone else was going to ambush him. Konosuke Takeshita tried to calm him down after the match but that didn’t stop Shunma Katsumata from trying to win the belt while they were leaving the ring.

Tetsuya Endo is feeling down about BURNING losing to The 37KAMIINA twice in a row. He is continuing to learn by losing and wants Yuya Koroku to learn that lesson too. Akiyama backs up that point by encouraging Endo to keep hitting them regardless of the result because fighting against a champion will always make you better. Endo also believes everyone in BURNING is on the same wavelength which is good for a unit that has only been around for a month.

DAMNATION T.A told Eruption they will see them in the Ultimate Tag League finals. That’s if Eruption can make it to the final. Daisuke Sasaki said the KO-D Tag Team Titles are coming to him & MJ Paul. He wants that message sent to Minoru Fujita too. Kazusada Higuchi told Hideki Okatani that if the likes of Sasaki is laughing at him now, you have to shut them up!

The show aired live on DDT’s Youtube channel which meant Hisaya Imabayashi was as concerned as ever because the Pheromones match would probably get them banned. So of course Pheromones got their hands on him and did lewd things to get their match called off. Danshoku Dieno called the GM selfish for his attempts to stop them. He then warned that Pheromones will survive the Tag League using their values.

Vent Vert Jack used an Ankle Hold he recently learned from Masakatsu Funaki to defeat El Unicorn. According to Jack, Funaki has made him his last disciple and he passed down two moves to him, one of them being the Ankle Hold. Jack’s dream is to inherit the two moves and bring them to Mexico. He also wants DDT to continue booking him so he can wrestle more teenagers like him all over Japan. Unicorn is following the same lesson as Endo. He’s lost four matches in a row but is using those experiences to learn and get stronger.

Everyone was suspicious that the debuting Shishamo Power is really Toru Owashi under the mask. Antonio Honda explained that Power was trained by Owashi but they are two different people. Akito & Yukio Naya tried to unmask him until Honda fed him shishamo to power up and fight back. A missed chair attack from Naya hit Akito by mistake and Power pinned him with La Magistral. Shishamo said his coach Owashi is really cool and he will sell a lot of his T-shirts.

Naya has been getting frustrated with being away from shows and having no matches for the last three weeks. He never got covid during this period but keeps getting into close contact with other patients so all he could do was stay home and watch DDT videos. Now that he is back he wants to win the Tag League more than anything else. Yuji Hino advises him to be strong and promises to make Naya explode in the tournament.

Newly retired Yuto Aijima appeared after intermission to start off the second half. He thanked people like Genichiro Tenryu and Toshiaki Kawada for sending him video messages for his retirement ceremony. He also vowed to continue making the Kyushu wrestling scene a lively place.
