2. Danshoku Dieno, Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata Vs Shunma Katsumata, Soma Takao & To-y

6. King Of DDT 2025 – Round 2: Yukio Naya Vs KANON
7. King Of DDT 2025 – Round 2: Daisuke Sasaki Vs Yuki Ueno

Round 2 for King Of DDT takes place this Saturday with eight wrestlers being whittled down to four. DAMNATION T.A have a chance to fill up half of the semi-finals if Daisuke Sasaki and Hideki Okatani both win their matches. HARASHIMA hardly broke a sweat in his 1st Round match though and Yuki Ueno is feeling pretty motivated to climb back to the top of DDT too. KANON is calling himself the “Yukio Naya Killer” because Naya has never beaten him in their previous singles matches. That also leaves Kazusada Higuchi and Takeshi Masada fighting each other over one of the remaining spots.

When Round 2 has been completed a lottery will be held to pair off the semi-final matches.

1. Jun Akiyama & Antonio Honda Vs HARASHIMA & Kazuki Hirata
2. 3 Way Match – Submission Rules Only: Kazusada Higuchi Vs KANON Vs Yuya Koroku

5. Danshoku Dieno Produce Match ~ Woof Woof Paradise Insurance Match: Akito Vs Yukio Naya
6. Danshoku Dieno Produce Match ~ Woof Woof Paradise: Danshoku Dieno (w/ Haku) Vs Shunma Katsumata (w/ Ponta & Komachi) Vs Yuki Kamifuku (w/ Zac) Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa (w/ Qoo)

Since there is no guarantee that the dogs in the main event will behave themselves, Danshoku Dieno decided to book a stable, no nonsense singles match between Akito and Yukio Naya as an insurance plan just in case the main event goes wrong.

The Beer Garden show will also begin DDT’s celebration of Toru Owashi wrestling on their shows for 20 years. He first showed up on DDT’s doorstep in 2005 and he’s been working with the company almost ever since, save for a year long hiatus he took from wrestling in 2011.

DDT “D GENERATIONS 2 ~THERE’S NO LIMIT TO GROWING PAINS~”, 14/05/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Yuni Vs Ali Najima
2. Hideki Okatani & Ilusion Vs Munetatsu Nakamura & Shota Kawakami

4. Soma Takao Vs Takumi Saito
5. Special Single Match: Keisuke Ishii Vs Kazuma Sumi

Yuki Ishida is still out of action recovering from a concussion so his match with Keisuke Ishii has to be changed. Kazuma Sumi will now be Ishii’s opponent to continue the D GENERATIONS Vs Young Communication feud. Soma Takao will now face Nagoya wrestler Takumi Saito. He can recently be seen on Tochigi Pro shows as well as HEAT-UP.

GANBARE☆PRO “BOAT RACE TODA”, 18/05/2025
Saitama Boat Race Toda

1. Ken Ohka & Mio Shirai Vs Daisuke® & YuuRI
2. Yuki Kanzaki & Tyson Maeguchi Vs Mizuki Watase & Reiya Igarashi
3. Kyoko Inoue & Moeka Haruhi Vs Yuna Manase & Ibuki Hoshi

5. Shuichiro Katsumura, Takuya Wada & Choun-Shiryu Vs Yumehito Imanari, Keisuke Ishii & Tatsuhito Takaiwa

It’s back to the boat races for Ganbare☆Pro with an unexpected reunion on the cards. Ken Ohka & Mio Shirai are teaming up again for the first time in 13 years! Back in the Union Pro days they had a tsundere relationship where Shirai dominated Ohka but could never quite want to get rid of him. They had a regular spot where she would submit Ohka with a Headscissors and boy did writing about that in my show reports at the time result in some readers searching my site hoping to find similar fetish wrestling content. WordPress kept track of the search terms back then you perverts!

Oh, also The Great Sasuke and Kyoko Inoue will be on the show too.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. 22: THE BEGINNING IS THE END IS THE BEGINNING”, 27/05/2025
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa

1. Special Tag Team Match: Great King Ueki & Munek Vs Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei
2. Special Single Match: Mr. Bueno Vs Fuminori Abe
3. BK-G Openweight Title: Mr. Malo (c) Vs Antonio Honda

The last Baka Gaijin + Friends show ended with a brand new BK-G Openweight Champion. The next show sees Mr. Malo having his first defence with Antonio Honda stepping up to be his challenger.

Things aren’t going Mr. Bueno’s way lately so maybe a spiritual battle with Fuminori Abe will cure what ails him.

We also last saw Great King Ueki & Munek capture the soul of Ram Kaichow, leaving her body behind as a husk following after them. Are they satisfied with what they got or do they want more? Throwing The Brahman Brothers against them is only going to cause chaos even if no soul catching takes place.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW SPRING TOUR 2025 IN NERIMA”, 31/05/2025
Tokyo Nerima Coconeri Hall

1. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa

Before Yoshiko Hasegawa retires she still has a few things to check off her list. Most important of all is challenging Suzume for the International Princess Title. Her idea got a negative response from some fans but she decided in the end to go through with it and eventually got everyone’s approval. Suzume will earn her 4th defence if she wins this match and that’s about the level her kind of IP Title reign usually reaches.

Jada Stone is advertised for the show. Yesterday she vaguely tweeted “Sadly, All Good Things Must Come To An End…” along with a highlight video of herself. So she’s making it sound like she’s either about to call it quits or she just got signed somewhere.

DDT “NAGOYA FIGHT FEVER 2025”, 01/06/2025
Aichi Chunichi Hall & Conference

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Ilusion (c) Vs Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & To-y

After Shunma Katsumata failed to win back the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles with NωA Jr. so he gets another title shot this time with The 37KAMIINA. What’s he going to do to get a third chance if he loses to DAMNATION T.A again. Reform ALL OUT?

Minoru Suzuki will be on the show.

GANBARE☆PRO “BLUE VELVET 2025”, 22/06/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Yoshiko Hasegawa’s Last Ganbare☆Pro Wrestling Match: Moeka Haruhi, Yuna Manase & Banny Oikawa Vs YuuRI, Yoshiko Hasegawa & Riara

Also on Yoppy’s to do list is one final match in GanPro. She reunites with the Ganbare☆Joshi division for her farewell, including the return of Riara to the promotion. Riara has been busy lately doing her best over in Marigold.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TJPW INSPIRATION”, 28/06/2025
TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi

1. 3 Minute Exhibition Match: Ai Shimizu Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa
2. Suzume & Arisu Endo Vs Gabai Ji-chan & Mahiro Kiryu
3. Tae Honma & Miyuki Takase Vs Yoshiko Hasegawa & Kaya Toribami
4. Mizuki & Miu Watanabe Vs Haru Kazashiro & Uta Takami

The “TJPW INSPIRATION” show is being brought back for Tokyo Joshi Pro’s first event at the new TOKYO SQUARE In Itabashi venue. The main event sees the two strongest TJPW wrestlers currently in Japan taking on the two youngest members of the roster. The youthful energy of Daisy Monkey will be pitted against the combination of years old wisdom plus earnestness found in Gabai Ji-chan & Mahiro Kiryu.

Plus Hasegawa gets two special matches with special guests involved. The main one is a tag match with against Tae Honma & Miyuki Takase bringing back memories of Actwres girl’z for the three of them. But also there will be a short exhibition match against Ai Shimizu, who has not wrestled since 2017. The two of them once starred in a wrestling themed play together back when they were both actresses and Shimizu was already gone from the wrestling business by the time Hasegawa debuted so they never got to be in the ring together. Hasegawa wanted it to happen so she came up with the idea to do an exhibition match and convinced Shimizu to do it.

GANBARE☆PRO “MIZUKI WATASE 10TH ANNIVERSARY – IT’S A SUMMER FILM 2025”, 26/08/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Mizuki Watase 10th Anniversary Match – Fluorescent Lighttube Death Match: Mizuki Watase Vs Jun Kasai

This was already announced but I forgot to write about it in the news section until now. Mizuki Watase wants to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of his debut match by fighting Jun Kasai with Lighttubes. He’s a nutjob.

One more challenge is in Yumehito Imanari’s way before he gets to headline a Korakuen Hall show as the Spirit Of Ganbare World Champion. The man standing in his way is Fuminori Abe. Chances are somebody on the card will be the one to approach the champion at the end of the show to make the Korakuen challenge. We’re probably going to hear who Ken Ohka’s mystery opponent is going to be too.

3. Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi & Takeshi Masada Vs Yuya Koroku, HARASHIMA & Akito

The main event is a preview for Koroku’s KO-D Openweight Title match in April. Whether the champion is Chris Brookes or Masahiro Takanashi is nothing for him to worry about here because both of them will be on the other team.

It feels good to type up Kazusada Higuchi’s name in these updates again.

BASARA “BASARA 274 ~UTAGE AKA – HIEN~”, 25/03/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Daiki Shimomura Vs Keisuke Ishii

The two partners challenging for the Iron Fist Tag Titles are going to fight each other first. The only thing Daiki Shimomura and Keisuke Ishii have in common is they’re both from Saitama. They’ll get to learn more about each other by having a match in the ring.

Yuko Miyamoto from 666, Kosuke Sato from Big Japan and Shota Kofuji from Osaka Style Wrestling will both be on the show.

DDT “O-HANAMI PRO WRESTLING 2025 – DAY 1”, 26/03/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: Takeshi Masada Vs JJ Furno
2. Falls Count Anywhere Blindfold Scramble Bunkhouse Match: Yuki Ueno Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs HARASHIMA Vs Antonio Honda Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Hanami KING OF DRUNK Preliminary Rumble: Chris Brookes Vs MAO Vs To-y Vs Daisuke Sasaki Vs Masahiro Takanashi Vs Shunma Katsumata Vs Soma Takao Vs Yukio Naya Vs Yuki Ishida

DDT is putting together a competition at this month’s Beer Garden shows called Hanami KING OF DRUNK. It is to determine the No. 1 heavy drinker of springtime. There will be a 9-Man Rumble on the first show where the last three men standing will move on to the final.

For the first time ever there will be a Falls Count Anywhere Blindfold Scramble Bunkhouse Match. We will quickly figure out why there was never one done before this.

DDT “O-HANAMI PRO WRESTLING 2025 – DAY 2”, 27/03/2025
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Maximum Allowance Of 5,000 Yen For Bringing The Weapons Death Match: Takeshi Masada & Keigo Nakamura Vs Yuni & Munetatsu Nakamura

3. Hanami KING OF DRUNK Final: X Vs X Vs X

The six wrestlers who don’t qualify for the KING OF DRUNK final will be put into a 6-Man Tag so they can all nurse their hangovers together.

There will be a Wrestlers Bring The Weapons Death Match on the undercard. However each wrestler in the match is given a 5,000 yen budget and they cannot spend past it for their weapon of choice.

DDT “CHANGE AGE 2025 ~YOUR LIE IN APRIL~”, 06/04/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Hideki Okatani Return Match: Hideki Okatani Vs X
2. KO-D Openweight Title: Chris Brookes (c) Vs Yuya Koroku

The masked dancer Kumadori is coming back to DDT this April. He made his pro wrestling debut during “ULTIMATE PARTY 2024” at the end of last year with the rest of O-MENZ by his side. Will they all be there with him again?

BASARA “BASARA 275 ~YOKOHAMA MONOGATARI 2~”, 12/04/2025
Yokohama Radiant Hall

1. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA (c) Vs Daiki Shimomura & Keisuke Ishii

Will Shimomura & Ishii become a well oiled tag team in time to challenge Ryuichi Sekine & FUMA for the belts? Ishii has never held the Iron Fist Tag Titles. FUMA has never directly beaten Ishii so that is why he is giving him this chance at winning the belts.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “QUERI PRESENTS TJPW LIVE IN LAS VEGAS”, 18/04/2025
Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

1. Special Single Match: Masha Slamovich Vs Miu Watanabe
2. International Princess Title: Suzume (c) Vs X
3. Princess Tag Team Titles: Miyu Yamashita & Maki Itoh (c) Vs X & X
4. Princess Of Princess Title: Mizuki (c) Vs X

The first match is made official for the Las Vegas Tokyo Joshi Pro show. Miu Watanabe is getting another big name foreign opponent by facing Masha Slamovich! I think this match being put together has blown open the possibilities for who will get the title matches on the same show. Whenever Slamovich is booked by TJPW she usually hovers around the champions but here she is getting Watanabe in a big first time matchup. That means Watanabe is also off the table for being in any of the title matches.

DDT “DDT GOES LAS VEGAS!”, 18/04/2025
Pearl Theater At Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

1. Special Single Match: Antonio Honda Vs Santana Jackson
2. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Timothy Thatcher

Two new names are added to the lineup. Konosuke Takeshita will be there and so too will Shunma Katsumata. No mention yet if either will be on the next day’s “DDT VS TJPW VS GCW” show. Katsumata will likely be added but I doubt Takeshita will be there.

*Kazuki Hirata becomes the 1,679th champion.
6. The Final Match Of Beer Garden Pro Wrestling 2024! Special Drunk 3 Way Tag Match: Chris Brookes & Masahiro Takanashi defeated Tetsuya Endo & Yuki Iino and Yuki Ueno & MAO when Takanashi pinned Endo after the H.O.D (24:01).

For the final time this year DDT held a Beer Garden show at Ueno Park. The main event was advertised as a Drunk 3 Way Tag Match where the wrestlers took a drink of tequila after every two count kickout. Chris Brookes wanted it to just be beer but accepted the tequila. Yuki Iino tried to refuse the drinks because he had to got work his other job at a private gym after the show. However he had to follow the rules and soon got drunk along with everyone else in the match. He also started acting like Yuki “Sexy” Iino again when his old Pheromones song played over the speakers. Yukinori Matsui wound up getting involved more than a referee is expected to so all of the wrestlers made him drink with them. Soon everyone was so drunk they all missed their attacks. Tetsuya Endo couldn’t do handsprings any more, CDK couldn’t hit their signature holds while Yuki Ueno & MAO kept missing their jumping kick moves. Endo got Iino to sober up by telling him Kenta Kobashi will be mad at him for getting drunk. Endo then lifted up MAO for the Swivel Torture Rack Bomb but had to stop spinning to maintain his composure. CDK took advantage by using their double team move called the Hair Of The Dog to pile themselves on top of Endo and MAO. Endo’s shoulders were pinned down by Masahiro Takanashi and he couldn’t kick out, making CDK the winners.

Danshoku Dieno immediately beat Kazuki Hirata to regain the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title and then insulted him for being a lazy wrestler. They were in the semi-main event and the way Hirata treated it means he will never escape the opening match. Hirata stood up not just for himself but also on behalf of all the wrestlers who wrestled in the early portion of today’s show. He called out some of those wrestlers to get in the ring and soon a brawl broke out between the group. Two sides formed against each other and an impromptu 6 Vs 7 Handicap Match began. Even the referees started turning against each other during the match as Yukinori Matsui and Daisuke Kiso fought each other in the ring while everyone else was brawling outside. Eventully Hirata’s team won when he pinned Dieno with the Miracle One Shot Cradle, taking the Iron Man Title back in the process. He wanted to celebrate but his own team then tried to pin him to win the title for themselves, forcing Hirata to flee with the belt.

A cute tiger cub toy was attached to the middle of a tiger rope. The same rope was also used to connect Jun Akiyama and Antonio Honda while they fought each other. Akiyama also brought out a cane but Honda convinced him to not to use it because it is an illegal weapon. Akiyama accepted the explanation but Honda then grabbed the cane. He tried to attack Akiyama with it but Akiyama ducked, the cane bounced off the ropes and Honda hit himself with it instead. Honda was able to trip Akiyama face first into a chair set up in the ring. He climbed the ropes for the Diving Fist Drop but Akiyama lifted up the tiger cub as a shield. Honda redirected his landing and missed on purpose so he wouldn’t harm the cub. Honda then tried to do the Bionic Elbow but ended up tangling himself with the rope while he was winding up the move. Akiyama took advantage and used the Exploder Suplex to win the match. He said he didn’t understand the rules but the tiger is cute so he knew it needed to be protected. The rule was Honda’s idea and he admitted it blew up in his face today.

The Street Kickboxing match no longer had Kota Ibushi involved but one of his protégés Yukimitsu Takahashi still appeared for the bout. He and Takeshi Masada spent a lot of the match fighting each other in and out of the ring. Keigo Nakamura tried fighting with Karate instead of kickboxing. HARASHIMA had trouble dealing with Thanomsak Toba but when it came down to him against Gota Ihashi, HARASHIMA knocked his opponent out with the Somato.

An unlikely fan favourite emerged from this year’s Beer Garden shows. Mataro Suzuki from the DDT Video Team was often dragged into DAMNATION T.A’s matches, usually because Daisuke Sasaki was too hungover to wrestle. It happened again today but this time the match suddenly had the added stipulation that whoever got pinned must retire from pro wrestling immediately! Sadly for Suzuki he lost the match by missing the People’s Elbow and getting pinned afterward. He was given an impromptu retirement ceremony after the match that included a 10 bell salute while the wrestlers all cried at ringside.

The show began with Akito and Dieno deciding on the rules for their DDT Extreme Title match on 20th October. Akito decided it will be a nobodyknows+ Rules Match. There will be nine victory conditions and prohibited actions decided on before the match. The referee will secretly select pick one of the conditions and it will be up to the wrestlers to discover for themselves how they can win or lose the match. Akito and Dieno did this match once before back in 2014 but Dieno has no memory of it. The options are all supposed to be randomised but as champion Akito will get to choose the 9 conditions. However he allowed Dieno to come up with one condition. Dieno’s idea if picked is you can win by bringing his pet dog Haku into the ring and make him hold his paw onto your hand.

Everyone in the main event wants to get drunk tomorrow so DDT may as well make it part of the match.

Due to a strong request by Antonio Honda, he and Jun Akiyama will now face each other in a Tiger Cub Rope Death Match! They will be attached to each other by the wrist with a tiger rope and more importantly a tiger cub stuffed toy is hanging from the middle of the rope. It will be up to the wrestlers to protect the toy from their opponent or even use it as a weapon.

Recent shenanigans with the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title has led to Kazuki Hirata now defending the title against former champion Danshoku Dieno.

The Right To Challenge Shield holders going into tomorrow’s show are Shunma Katsumata (Blue) and Soma Takao (White).

The semi-main event is a preview for the next Princess Of Princess Title match as Miu Watanabe and Zara Zakher will be in opposite teams. Two new names from the North American scene will step foot into TJPW for the first time. Liiza Hall is from Canada and has nine years of experience. Rebel Kel has previously wrestled in Japan for Stardom near the end of the pre-Bushiroad era. Amira was on last December’s TJPW show with Prestige. She also teamed with Rika Tatsumi back then so they are already familiar with each other. But is that enough to take on Daisy Monkey?

7. Miu Watanabe & Suzume Vs Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku

It’s been so long since TJPW had a tag team of sisters. Kira Summer is bringing over her sister Miki Fortune to team up together. Fortune’s a bit of a wild one so anyone expecting her to act just like Summer will be in for a surprise.

The Next Generation Tournament begins with on this show.

Shoko Nakajima will be in America for Deadlock Pro competing in the Battle Of The Best final so she will be missing this show. Yuki Kamifuku will also be absent because she will be defending the Asian Double Crown over in the Philippines.

5. KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles: Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi, Takayuki Ueki, Takeshi Masada & Mecha Mummy Vs Keigo Nakamura, To-y, Yuya Koroku, Yuki Ishida & Kazuma Sumi

A team of five from DDT’s new generation are going to challenge for the KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Titles. SCHADENFREUDE have Takayuki Ueki subbing in for Antonio Honda but he was part of the team when they originally won the belts anyway. So it may as well be the champions entering the match at full force.

MIKAMI makes another DDT appearance this year.

One day before the DDT Extreme Title is defended, Akito and Danshoku Dieno are facing off in a wacky tag match with Pokotan and Yoshihiko also involved. The stipulation for the title match hasn’t been chosen yet but it would be leaving it very late if this match is meant to set it up.

5. DDT Extreme Title: Akito (c) Vs Danshoku Dieno
6. KO-D Openweight Title: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs HARASHIMA

I bet it will have changed by the time this show happens but the two remaining Right To Challenge Shields are both currently being held by Soma Takao.

DDT “AKOS X DDT EKIMAE PRO WRESTLING”, 26/10/2024
Saitama AKOS Event Square

DDT is holding a few matches at a shopping area in Saitama. It is an outdoor show so bad weather on the day could cancel the event. The show notes say it can go ahead if it’s light rain but anything that can be described as stormy will call it off.

DDT “CHARISMANIA”, 06/11/2024
Shinjuku FACE

1. KUBITO & Naohiro Katsumi 19th Anniversary Match: KUBITO Vs Naohiro Katsumi
2. The Greatest Wrestling Match Of CHARISMANIA: Daisuke Sasaki & Yuko Miyamoto Vs Dick Togo & Minoru Fujita

So many people who have links to Daisuke Sasaki are coming to “CHARISMANIA”. He is teaming with Yuko Miyamoto to face his mentors Dick Togo & Minoru Fujita. Ibushi Absent From This Month’s DDT Shows

October 5, 2024

DDT “THE LAST BEER GARDEN PRO WRESTLING OF 2024”, 17/10/2024
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: Jun Akiyama Vs Antonio Honda
2. Special Single Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Street Kickboxing 6-Man Tag Match: HARASHIMA & Yukimitsu Takahashi & Keigo Nakamura Vs Thanomsak Toba, Takeshi Masada & Gota Ihashi

DDT announced that Kota Ibushi will be missing the two shows they booked him for this month. That is the 17th October Beer Garden show and the 20th October Korakuen Hall show. No reason has been given other than he will be absent. Ibushi will be replaced by Keigo Nakamura on the Beer Garden show.

This news feels a bit weird. Ibushi’s conditioning since he came back hasn’t been up to scratch but this doesn’t sound like an injury situation. He’s wrestling on a GLEAT show tomorrow and there’s no sign that he’s being pulled from that. There’s gossip online over whether or not Kenny Omega has recovered from his health problems and is ready to return. Ibushi on his Instagram account also made it sound like AEW will bring them back together as The Golden Lovers. I won’t rule that out as a possibility. AEW has a TV taping on the 17th but nothing else for a week after that. It wouldn’t explain why Ibushi would miss the DDT show on the 20th. Hopefully this isn’t a situation where Ibushi and DDT had a falling out. Would be a real shame if that bridge is burned after it took so long for it to be rebuilt.

ShunMao Fears Umeda, Street Kickboxing, Ilusion’s Betrayal Sparks A War

Acros Fukuoka

1. Daisuke Sasaki, KANON & MJ Paul Vs Akito, Yukio Naya & Kazuma Sumi
2. Chris Brookes & Yuki Ishida Vs Soma Takao & Kazuki Hirata
3. Jun Akiyama & Keigo Nakamura Vs Tetsuya Endo & Yuya Koroku
4. Special Tag Match: Shinya Aoki & Yuki Ueno Vs HARASHIMA & Takeshi Masada
5. O-40 Title – 3 Way Match: Azul Dragon (c) Vs Toru Owashi Vs Danshoku Dieno
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & Shunma Katsumata (c) Vs Kota Umeda & Tomomitsu Matsunaga
7. DDT Universal Title: Yuki Iino (c) Vs To-y

After successfully defending the KO-D Tag Team Titles yesterday, ShunMao have been informed that their match against Kota Umeda & Tomomitsu Matsunaga later this month is now a title match. Both MAO & Shunma Katsumata have scary memories of Umeda from back in their DNA days so they are not looking forward to seeing him again. Tomomitsu Matsunaga is getting his second shot at the KO-D Tag Titles this year. He previously challenged for them with Jun Akiyama back in April.

DDT “YUKI ISHIDA TRIUMPHANT RETURN! GOD BLESS DDT 2024 TOUR IN KUMAMOTO”, 14/10/2024
Kumamoto L’celmo Yatsushiro

1. Tomomitsu Matsunaga Vs To-y
2. Danshoku Dieno & Soma Takao Vs Shunma Katsumata & Keigo Nakamura
3. Special Tag Match: Jun Akiyama & HARASHIMA Vs Chris Brookes & Kazuma Sumi
4. The 37KAMIINA Vs BURNING!: Yuki Ueno & MAO Vs Tetsuya Endo & Yuya Koroku
5. Special Single Match: Yuki Iino Vs Kazuki Hirata
6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Daisuke Sasaki, KANON & MJ Paul (c) Vs Akito, Yukio Naya & Yuki Ishida

Kumamoto is Yuki Ishida country so he is getting a title match for his homecoming. He chose to team with Yukio Naya & Akito so they can fight for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles.

DDT “THE LAST BEER GARDEN PRO WRESTLING OF 2024”, 17/10/2024
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: Jun Akiyama Vs Antonio Honda
2. Special Single Match: Danshoku Dieno Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Street Kickboxing 6-Man Tag Match: Kota Ibushi, HARASHIMA & Yukimitsu Takahashi Vs Thanomsak Toba, Takeshi Masada & Gota Ihashi

Now this is the environment I want to see Kota Ibushi flourish in again! A 6-Man Tag Match with Kickboxing rules that I guess can be described as Falls Count Anywhere? I mean the person who gets beaten will be falling over after getting knocked out so that counts, right? The match mixes together several fighting disciplines too. Yukimitsu Takahashi is a pro kickboxer who has been learning from the Ibushi Wrestling Institute since last summer. He will also be fresh off of a kickboxing bout that is happening a few days before this show. Thanomsak Toba is there to represent Muay Thai. Takeshi Masada has a background in Shorinji Kempo. HARASHIMA is going to use “HERO! Martial Arts” That just leaves Gota Ihashi as the human punching bag.

Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. DAMNATION T.A Vs SCHADENFREUDE International!: Daisuke Sasaki, KANON, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs Chris Brookes, Masahiro Takanashi, Antonio Honda & Takeshi Masada
2. DDT Extreme Title: Akito (c) Vs Danshoku Dieno
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs HARASHIMA

War is breaking out between SCHADENFREUDE International and DAMNATION T.A! You can blame Ilusion for that after he betrayed SCHADENFREUDE and stabbed them all in the back to join DAMNATION T.A. It was a plan that Ilusion and DAMNATION have been in cahoots with together from the very beginning. An 8-Man Tag Match in Korakuen Hall might steal the show if the angle created enough heat for it.

DDT “SUMIDA DRAMATIC DREAM! ~FREE SEATING PRO WRESTLING SHOW~”, 04/11/2024
Tokyo Higashin Arena (Sumida City Gymnasium)

1. Touchi-kun Pro Wrestling Debut Match: Touchi-kun Vs X
2. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Jun Akiyama, Yukio Naya & Shinichiro Kawamatsu Vs Satoshi Kojima, Akito & Antonio Honda
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Shinya Aoki (c) Vs X

It’s been so long since Satoshi Kojima last broke bread with DDT. Not counting “CYBERFIGHT FESTIVAL 2022”, he hasn’t wrestled in DDT since the end of 2012. His mighty Lariat might meet its match though. Shinichiro Kawamatsu is on the other team and he now has the Axe Bomber that was passed down to him from Hulk Hogan!

More war is breaking out but in mascot form! Touchi-kun is the mascot of the Japan Self-Defence Force’s Tokyo headquarters but his appearance in DDT yesterday made Pokotan very jealous. Jealous enough to make Pokotan attack the other mascot and get into a fight! The solution is to settle it in the ring, meaning Touchi-kun is going to make his pro wrestling debut.

6. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title – Sauna Manners Death Match ~ The 37KAMIINA Vs Shin The 37KAMIINA!: Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & To-y defeated Sauna Oyakata (Danshoku Dieno) (c), Keizo Matsuda & Takayuki Ueki when To-y pinned Oyakata with a Frankensteiner (13:27).
*To-y becomes the 1,668th champion. To-y wins Danshoku Dieno’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Shield.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Danshoku Dieno defeated To-y (c) with a School Boy (7:23 pm).
*Danshoku Dieno becomes the 1,669th champion.
-. Bonus Track: Danshoku Dieno Vs Makoto Oishi ended in a Time Limit Draw (4:07).

For the second time this year DDT held a show where they encouraged fans in attendance not to spoil anything that happened on it until the following day. DDT themselves only posted about the pre-show contract signing along with censored hints about the crazy things that happened during the matches. Since this was also a Beer Garden show that meant fans were also getting more creative matches than usual.

For example in the main event a sauna tent was pitched next to the ring and any wrestler caught breaking the rules or ignoring sauna etiquette were sent into the tent as punishment. Danshoku Dieno took part in the match as a “sauna master” of an imposter group called Shin The 37KAMIINA. Their goal was to beat and replace the original unit. One by one a different wrestler was sent to the tent for breaking etiquette. To-y broke the rule of attacking an opponent on the ropes, Dieno was punished for being lewd, Takayuki Ueki was sent to the tent for threatening his opponents with a gun and Yuki Ueno got in trouble for telling Yukinori Matsui to shut up. Eventually everyone was sent to the tent and remained there until To-y ran out accusing Dieno of harrassing him in there. The match continued in the ring where Shunma Katsumata and Keizo Matsuda tried to attack each other using heatwaves until they both fainted. To-y ended up scoring an upset pin on Dieno by giving him a Frankensteiner. As a result he won both the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title as well as Dieno’s Right To Challenge Shield!

Dieno immediately won back the title when he rolled up To-y during his victory speech but the Shield remains with To-y. Makoto Oishi then approached Dieno and asked him for an impromptu singles match right now! Time was short so Hisaya Imabayashi could only let it go ahead if the match had a time limit of 4 minutes and 7 seconds. Everyone agreed and began the match. Dieno and Oishi quickly fought amongst the crowd while the rest of the roster danced and partied around them before joining in the fight. Back in the ring Oishi gave Dieno the Lip Lock but time ran out before he could pin him. Oishi then asked to have another match with Dieno. Imabayashi decided it will happen at Korakuen Hall on 29th September.

Yoshihiko defeated Takeshi Masada in a wild match that at one point had both of them fighting each other on top of a nearby van. The match ended with Yoshihiko trying to drown Masada by pressing his head down into a bucket of water. Matsui called off the match in Yoshihiko’s favour when Masada stopped responding.

Each of the wrestlers in the 4 Way Match took on different gimmicks from their usual selves. MAO came out as an Orange Cassidy tribute called Mikan Cassidy, Chris Brookes turned into a police sergeant, HARASHIMA transformed into OBAKSHIMA the horror monster and Keigo Nakamura became a K5000 robot impervious to almost every attack. Sgt. Brookes shooting him with a gun had no effect. What did cause him harm was MAO squirting K5000 with a water gun. Sgt. Brookes sprayed both OBAKSHIMA and K5000 with a fire extinguisher and then snapped a long rubber strap into them. Mikan then lazily laid on top of K5000 for the pinfall.

A retro themed match was held under DRAGONGATE rules because Toru Owashi was acting like the troublesome heel he was back in 2004. Kazuki Hirata also showed up dressed in his debut gear and acting like a rookie all over again. Antonio Honda filled completed the bizarre trio by appearing as his Hulk Hogan tribute gimmick called Pero Pero Oyakata. Their match against a confused DAMNATION T.A turned into a brawl around the venue. KANON didn’t understand why Hirata wasn’t dancing and tried to tempt him with the Hirata GO! glasses. Things went out of hand when Honda stripped down to his underwear and tried to give everyone the Pedigree. When he tried to do it on Matsui, the referee called off the match.

A planned 6-Man Tag Match was turned into a 5 Vs 1 Handicap Match when Poison Sawada JULIE brainwashed Tetsuya Endo’s partners with Snake Magic! JULIE also did it to his own partners so Endo had to fight a snake army all by himself. Endo got his hands on the antidote during the match and soon cured Yuki Iino, Yuya Koroku and Kazuma Sumi. They all spat Poison Mist at JULIE, rendering him helpless so Endo could pin him with the Burning Star Press. Yuni was still brainwashed after the match but Endo got him to take the antidote and return to normal.

The masked dancing master Furitsuke Kamen choreographed a special entrance for Makoto Oishi but Akito interrupted it halfway through. He, Masahiro Takanashi & Ilusion would only let them do it if Oishi’s team could beat them. With some help from Yukio Naya, Yuki Ishida and Kamen himself Oishi was able to beat Ilusion by submission and everyone did the dance together.

The contract signing before the show was for the upcoming KO-D Tag Team Titles match. ShunMao held the titles last year but had to vacate them when Katsumata got injured. When he recovered, MAO wanted to hold off on challenging for the titles again so it could be used as a trump card. He decided to use that trump card after Ueno lost the KO-D Openweight Title so The 37KAMIINA could quickly recover their momentum. MAO considers CDK to be their true rivals, not SCHADENFREUDE International. Brookes understands his opinion and even agrees with it. He admits he & Masada struggled to beat Ueno & To-y over the weekend. But he wants his team to wrestle using their own style unique to DDT no matter if they win or lose. Masada said he wants to defend the titles even if it means he has to crawl onto the next step. ShunMao thinks he still hasn’t evolved enough yet though.

At the end of the show Oishi told everyone he wants a new version of NωA to continue without him. He asked Shunma Katsumata, Yuni & Sumi to form Shin NωA. Yuni & Sumi were both excited by the idea but Katsumata was hesitant to do it. He eventually agreed when Yuni & Sumi told him they both would like to become idols. The three of them sang one of the songs together to close out the show.

1. Toru Owashi & Yuki Ishida defeated Yuni & Keigo Nakamura when Owashi pinned Nakamura with La Magistral Cradle (8:05).
*Toru Owashi wins Keigo Nakamura’s Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Shield.
2. Rock ‘N’ Roll 4 Way Death Match: A.YAZAWA defeated Akito, To-y and Kazuma Sumi when YAZAWA pinned Sumi with a Japanese Leg Lock Clutch (12:23).
3. 4 Vs 3 Handicap Match: Daisuke Sasaki, KANON, MJ Paul & Mataro Suzuki defeated Masahiro Takanashi, Soma Takao & Yuya Koroku when KANON pinned Koroku with the Ground Cobra Twist (8:12).
4. The Long Awaited New Series By Hisaya Imabayashi! Kaidan Shin Numabukuro Deathmatch 2: Shunma Katsumata & Jun Akiyama Vs Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi ended in a No Contest (7:50).
5. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes defeated Ilusion with the Praying Mantis Bomb (13:53).
6. Beer Garden Specialty Customer Lottery 8-Man Tag Match: Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Ueno, Yuki Iino & Takeshi Masada defeated MAO, HARASHIMA, Kazuki Hirata & Yukio Naya when Endo pinned Hirata with the Burning Star Press (21:34).

The fan lottery determined the teams for the main event but nobody was told everyone was going to be switching gimmicks too! On one team Tetsuya Endo dressed as HARASHIMA, Yuki Ueno dressed as Takeshi Masada, Yuki Iino dressed as Endo and Masada was dressed as Kazuki Hirata. On the other team MAO was dressed as Yukio Naya, HARASHIMA was dressed as Ueno, Hirata was dressed as Iino and Naya was dressed as MAO. By taking on each other’s costumes they also copied the entrances and attempted to copy the movesets to mixed results. Some got offended at how bad the impersonation of themselves were which caused some more confusion. In the end, Endo channeled HARASHIMA’s Somato and used the move on Hirata before pinning him with the Burning Star Press.

After being rejected several times, Ilusion was given one golden chance to convince Chris Brookes directly that he genuinely wants to join SCHADENFREUDE International. Brookes put him through the wringer to prove it, going as far as to pull Ilusion’s mask apart. The youngster got a replacement mask but that to would get torn open. The match reached a point where it was clear Ilusion would not win but he kept fighting until Brookes pinned him with the Praying Mantis Bomb. After the match Antonio Honda told Ilusion he lost, but he lost the right way. Everyone who is in SCHADENFREUDE belong there not because they are strong but because they have messed up their own lives. Brookes then told Ilusion he deserves to join the group and welcomed him in! Ilusion said he will learn from the other members from this point onwards so he can get strong and become the centre of DDT!

Something completely unforeseen happened in the Shin Numabukuro Deathmatch. Jun Akiyama won it before Hisaya Imabayashi could even have a chance to begin telling his ghost story! The room went dark and Akiyama found himself travelling back in time to his entrance for the match. He won the match with a School Boy a second time only to time travel back to the beginning again. He soon realised this will keep happening until he wins the match in under three minutes using something other than a Roll Up! Time looped again and at the three minute mark Imabayashi told his ghost story, making everyone faint from shock one by one. But when he went to Akiyama it was blocked. Akiyama physically forced Imabayashi to point at himself causing Imabayashi to die from fright! The room went dark again and Akiyama travelled back to his ring entrance once more, doomed to relive this match over and over forever…

The last time DAMNATION T.A swapped out Daisuke Sasaki for Mataro Suzuki worked out well so they brought the video team member back and declared him their new leader! It was all a trick so Sasaki could enter the match halfway through and give his team the 4-on-3 numbers advantage to win.

It was explained that Honda could not wrestle today because he was suffering from love sickness so A.YAZAWA took his place in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Death Match. There was rock music to make the participants dance, drinking music to make them drink beer and even romantic music to get everyone in the mood.

The Light Blue Right To Challenge Shield now belongs to Toru Owashi after he pinned Keigo Nakamura to win the opening match.

At the start of the show Yuki Ishida announced he has left his gig at the sumo agency in Osaka he joined a few months ago to return home to Tokyo. He will now become a full time wrestler for DDT again but decided to leave behind his “Dosukoi” personality. He tried to wrestle his match without it but was told by Owashi that without Dosukoi he has nothing. Ishida ignored the advice and completed the match. However at the end of the show voice actor Tetsu Inada gave him a spirited talk and Ishida admitted he wants to wrestle using Dosukoi spirit after all! Everyone welcomed him back after hearing that revelation.

The No Spoiler show is filling up with more wacky ideas with the expectation that nobody going to see the show will spoil it online. Keizo Matsuda & Takayuki Ueki are familiar enough but Sauna Master is going to be Danshoku Dieno doing some sort of, well, sauna master gimmick.

Pero Pero Master is, or at least in previous apperances was Antonio Honda doing a Hulk Hogan gimmick. Toru Owashi is also going to time travel back to being 20 years younger somehow.

Also on the card are appearances by Poison Sawada JULIE and Furitsuke Kamen.
