5. Warming Up Muscle “10,000,000 Yen If You Beat Virtual Pikotaro” General Battle: Virtual Pikotaro #1 (Kazuyoshi Sakai) & Virtual Pikotaro #2 (Hisaya Imabayashi) defeated Muscle Sakai & Antonio Honda when Pikotaro #1 pinned Honda after Virtual Pikotaro #3 (Kazusada Higuchi) stabbed Honda with a Pen And Anton Muscle Pen (2:24).
6. The Usual Sandman-like Match: Ken Ohka defeated Yuki Ueno, Danshoku Dieno, Mike Bailey, Jason Kincaid, Facade, Antonio Honda, Chinsuke Nakamura, Muscle Sakai, Keisuke Ishii, Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Yasu Urano, Yumehito Imanari, Shota, Choun-Shiryu, DJ Nira, MAO, Sumo Rock, Rekka, DT-YUTA and Nonoko when Ohka pinned Ueno with the Fire Spear (16:42).

A recurring theme of the show involved Ken Ohka trying to convince Yuki Ueno that he is a good wrestler. It wasn’t until the end of the main event when Ohka finally got his message across to the rookie. It was a free for all set to the “Enter Sandman” song and everyone was encouraged to drink and throw beer everywhere as if they were all The Sandman. Some of the unexpected people showing up included Mike Bailey, MAO, DT-YUTA, Nonoko, Chinsuke Nakamura (carrying a homemade US Title belt) and Sumo Rock (Kazusada Higuchi imitating The Rock). The ring eventually filled up with empty beer cans and Ohka fought his battle with Ueno while everyone else was outside. Ueno hit Ohka with the Fire Spear for a nearfall. In return Ohka gave Ueno an Avalanche Brainbuster onto the cans then hit the genuine Fire Spear to win the match. When the dust was settled, Ueno told Ohka he still thinks Ohka isn’t physically powerful or mentally serious but Ohka did win the match today thanks to the crowd’s support. Ohka really is a strong wrestler and Ueno will make it his goal to surpass him!

Super Sasadango Machine did not make an appearance on the show. Instead his former alter ego Muscle Sasaki made a return. He held a secret dark PowerPoint Presentation that was only to be seen by the people in attendance. Afterwards the Muscle Producer Amon Tsurumi was invited to come out. Hisaya Imabayashi appeared and said he too busy preparing for his match before the show so he wasn’t going to be Tsurumi today. Instead the role of Tsurumi was played by Konosuke Takeshita!

Tsurumi/Takeshita revealed that if Muscle can draw 4,000 people to Sumo Hall next February then he believes it will attract the attention of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Creative Team. It is Tsurumi’s dream to join that team. The other wrestlers asked how can they achieve the goal of 4,000 fans. Yasu Urano suggested that only pure wrestling will work but everybody in Muscle are middle-aged and not pure wrestlers. Tsurumi/Takeshita revealed his secret plan. They need a big guest to appear on the show. They need… Pikotaro! Yes, the man behind “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen” is just the man they need. Unfortunately booking him is impossible so they’ll have to make do with an impersonator.

Actor and former Muscle wrestler Kazuyoshi Sakai came out dressed as Pikotaro. Tsurumi/Takeshita challenged the wrestlers to face him in a 60 second match. If they can win they will be given 10,000,000 yen! A bunch of wrestlers all tried to chase down Sakai and pin him but he survived the time limit every time. Soon a second Pikotaro appeared and it was Hisaya Imabayashi! The two impersonators agreed to team up and face the final participants, Muscle Sakai and Antonio Honda. When the two sides fought, one more Pikotaro appeared. This time it was Kazusada Higuchi! He stabbed both Sakai and Honda in the head with his Pen And Anton Muscle Pens, allowing the other Pikotaros to win the match.

As already mentioned above, Ueno wasn’t convinced that Ohka is a big deal in wrestling. Danshoku Dieno asked Ueno to watch Ohka fight against DJ Nira so he could change his mind. It was a bad match because Nira was so weak that he couldn’t put up a fight. When Ohka gave him a Snapmare into a rest hold he decided to let it go because it wasn’t worth it. Ohka apologised to everyone and left the ring. Daisuke Kiso didn’t know what was going on so he called off the match.

The Lariat Pro Wrestling match featured the theme songs of many famous Lariat users. The order of songs started off with “Power Hall”, “Sunrise” and “J”. Things then went in a different direction when “Crash” played and everyone performed Kenka Kicks. Then the music changed to “SAMURAI” and everybody did Hip Attacks. Next up was “Beautiful Flight” which made everyone do Leg Lariats. At this point everybody realised they were no longer doing Lariats so they asked for a song to get them back in track. “RAIN MAKER” came on. Suddenly Yukinori Matsui was overwhelmed with enough power to gave the Rainmaker to Keisuke Ishii! He did the post but Ishii got back up and he German Suplexed Matsui. “Miserarete” was the final song to play but at this point everybody was too hurt to continue. Ishii decided to change the rule and made it so the next person to hit a Lariat would win the match for their team. Antonio Honda rallied everyone as he prepared to do the move but he stopped and told a Gongitsune story instead. He poked everybody in the eye and eventually hit Yumehito Imanari with a Lariat to bring the match to an end.

The two authority figures in the DDT family were scheduled to fight each other in the pre-show. However both Hisaya Imabayashi and Tetsuya Koda agreed that they had no reason to do so. Neither were motivated by any dislike of the other so they had to come up with something to add some heat to the match. Imabayashi brought up how their match last year was watched by his two sons on DDT UNIVERSE. They cheered him on until he lost. That made his younger son cry. It also made his older son think he is weak ever since. Imabayashi should win so he can regain his son’s respect. He then brought up Koda’s favourite idol Maria Makino. That set off Koda and the two argued enough that they now had a reason to fight. Imabayashi hit the Backblow because it is the finishing move of his kayfabe uncle Goro Tsurumi. Koda survived it and put Imabayashi in a Katahajime to make him give up. After the match Imabayashi got a phone call from his older son. He said his dad sucks and he shouldn’t come home. He then hung up.

7. Shigehiro Irie 10th Anniversary Memorial Match: Shigehiro Irie defeated Keisuke Ishii and Soma Takao when Irie pinned Takao with the Beast Bomber (17:11).
-. Emergency Decision Match: Shigehiro Irie defeated Kengo Takai with the Beast Bomber (11:59).

From humble beginnings in Dera Nagoya Pro Wrestling all the way to becoming the KO-D Openweight Champion in DDT, it’s been a crazy ten years of wrestling for Shigehiro Irie. Today in Osaka he got to celebrate his 10th anniversary with a match against both Keisuke Ishii and Soma Takao in a Team Dream Futures reunion. At first Takao kept his distance and allowed Irie and Ishii to fight each other but he soon got into the mix. Irie stopped Takao from giving Ishii the Gin And Tonic. Ishii struck Irie with a Thrust Kick but Irie hit back with the Beast Bomber. Ishii was knocked into the corner and Irie hit a Running Cannonball followed by another Beast Bomber for the win.

Irie thanked his opponents for the special match and he also thanked everyone for coming despite the horrible weather in the region. Irie told Ishii and Takao to continue their ways to revolutionize pro wrestling. During the celebration ceremony, Irie’s mentor Kengo Takai asked Irie if they could have a match together for Irie’s 15th anniversary because it will also be Takai’s 25th anniversary when it happens. Irie told him they could do the match right now! The ring cleared and the two collided to start an impromptu match between student and teacher. Takai hit Irie with a chair and Splashed him through a table at ringside. Irie kicked out of the Dera Hof Bomb and crushed Takai with the Cannonball Drop before winning with the Beast Bomber. Irie admitted afterwards that it wasn’t a good idea for him to have another match. Takai agreed. Irie thanked Takai for teaching him because it was him who raised Irie to become a pro wrestler.

Daisuke Harada expressed regret that he wasn’t able to wrestle against Konosuke Takeshita today. Takeshita was pulled from the show with a shoulder injury and was replaced by Yuki Ueno in their tag match. Harada praised Ueno for stepping in and would be happy to wrestle him again.

Due to Takeshita’s injury, an announcement about his removal from this year’s King Of DDT tournament took place during intermission. Sanshiro Takagi then invited Kazuki Hirata to the ring. Since Hirata lost his Right To Challenge Gauntlet earlier in the show, he was now eligible to enter the King Of DDT. However Hisaya Imabayashi stepped in and explained that he already decided to give Takeshita’s 1st Round opponent Naomi Yoshimura a bye into the next round. Yoshimura came out and said a bye or a match against Hirata doesn’t make any difference to him. Hirata said he doesn’t mind when people laugh at him but he won’t stand for it when people think he’s a small fish. He’ll be the small fish who puts Yoshimura to shame when he knocks him out of the 1st Round! Hirata accepted the open spot and his match with Yoshimura will be the main event on 31st July!

Daisuke Sasaki didn’t want to say too many kind words about Irie today because DAMNATION hates RENEGADES. Instead Sasaki told everyone that somebody from DAMNATION will win King Of DDT, win the KO-D Title and end Irie’s career in the next 10 years!

5. This Is Ganbare☆Wrestling! ~Charisma Vs Revolutionary~: Ken Ohka Vs Yumehito Imanari ended in a No Contest when Survival Tobita and Shin Mokujin Ken interfered. (13:30).
5a. Emergency Special Match: Ken Ohka & Yumehito Imanari defeated Survival Tobita & Shin Mokujin Ken by Disqualification when Ken attacked the referee (2:33).

The battle for Ganbare☆Wrestling went in a bizarre direction when the main event was interrupted by Survival Tobita and a new version of one of his most infamous monster wrestlers Shin Mokujin Ken (I think the original was killed by Mecha Mummy in Chikara Pro)! Tobita gave Ken Ohka a Piledriver while Ken attacked Yumehito Imanari. Ohka immediately changed the main event into a tag team match but that was thrown out when Ken attacked the referee. Tobita told Ohka he wasn’t working hard enough. Tobita is crazier than Ohka is and to prove it he captured Mokujin Ken and brought him to Ganpro to cause some chaos! Ohka called for a truce with Imanari so they can fight back together. They decided that Ohka will face Tobita and Imanari will fight Ken in the first round of the Ganbare☆Climax on 11th August! Imanari said that the Imanari Revolution is no joke. His dream is to lead Ganpro back to Korakuen Hall!

Ayumu Honda used the referee as a shield to block Chikara and leave him open for the Cross Armbreaker. After the match Keisuke Ishii announced he will defend the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title against Honda on 11th August. Honda wanted to change the date because he is already booked for a K-DOJO show in Chiba that day. Ishii convinced Honda to take the match because the Ganpro show in Narimasu takes place early in the afternoon while the K-DOJO show will be at night.

Shuichiro Katsumura & Facade are both ninjas so they made a good team today. They both did ninja poses to celebrate their win.

HARUKAZE wanted a rematch with Moeka Haruhi on 11th August but there is not enough room on the card to make it happen. Ohka instead offered to enter both HARUKAZE and Haruhi into the Battle Royal to determine who faces the Independent World Jr. Champion the next day. Both accepted.

The Uguisudani Crossface used by Shinichiro Tominaga is also known as the Buffalo Sleeper.

The eight participants for the 2018 Ganbare☆Climax are Ken Ohka, Yumehito Imanari, Shinichiro Tominaga, Shota, Survival Tobita, Shin Makujin Ken, Mitsuo Momota and Yuu Yamagata.

6. DDT Extreme Title – Blindfolded Hidden Breasts Death Match: HARASHIMA (c) Vs Antonio Honda

A classic ruleset is coming back for the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title match. The match will run non-stop for 10 minutes and whoever is the champion at the end will be declared the winner.

The current Right To Challenge Gauntlet holders are Meiko Satomura (Red), HARASHIMA (Green), Akito (Yellow), Yukio Sakaguchi (Black) and Yuki Iino (Blue). Shigehiro Irie still thinks that the gimmick is unnecessary. It’s not that he hates the concept, it is because he will accept the challenges from anybody who steps up to him anyway. He wonders whenever the Gauntlet holders publicly tell everyone that they are not using their title shot if they even want to be a champion. And if they don’t want to be champion then why are they wrestling? If any of the holders want to cash in their shot straight after Irie’s match ends, he will still be ready for them. Irie always has two fights in him whenever he steps into the ring.

Irie has also criticised DDT for failing to evolve their comedy style over the years. He thinks Danshoku Dieno is partly to blame for that as the DDT Producer. Another problem is Irie’s plans for DDT aren’t coming to fruition like he was promised. He wants to defend the KO-D Openweight Title overseas but accuses Dieno of not doing anything in his power to help put it together.

1. Falls Count Anywhere 3 Way Tag Match: Sanshiro Takagi & Kazusada Higuchi defeated HARASHIMA & Keisuke Ishii and Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi when Higuchi pinned Oishi with the Avalanche Argentine Backbreaker from the Stage through a Table (25:38).

For the 5th year in a row DDT travelled over to the HandMade In Japan Fes to make a mess with their Rojo Pro Wrestling match. Sanshiro Takagi wasted no time in collecting chairs while Kazusada Higuchi entered the starting area carrying a ladder. When HARASHIMA and Keisuke Ishii entered they couldn’t find any chairs so HARASHIMA sat down at a nearby drum set and played a tune. Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi then arrived with the remaining chairs.

The match began on the stage but quickly moved to other areas of the venue, the first being the dining hall. Oishi cheekily asked customers if he could take a bite of their food. HARASHIMA attacked Dieno’s backside with traffic cones on his arms.

Down the hall they moved to a marketplace where Dieno took a break to go shopping. He bought a yellow cap. Meanwhile Takagi and Oishi fought their way over to a peanut butter and they forced each other to taste it. Oishi then tried to stab Takagi’s forehead with the tasting spoon. Higuchi lifted the ladder onto his shoulders and spun around, hitting everybody including his partner Takagi. Oishi stopped Higuchi with a chairshot.

Ishii sat Takagi down on a chair and lined him up for HARASHIMA to do a long distance Somato. However Dieno cut HARASHIMA off with the Lip Lock. The match found its way back to the stage where Dieno & Oishi formed a man-made “Hell Car” but their rolling action was stopped by Higuchi.

Ishii stepped back in and fought with Dieno until Takagi arrived on the Dramatic Dream Cycle! He ran over Dieno with it.

A table was set up below the stage where Higuchi and Oishi were fighting. Oishi tried to dive onto Higuchi but he was caught. Higuchi got back on the stage and put Oishi into a Canadian Backbreaker. He then jumped off the stage and hit the Backbreaker through the table! Oishi was out for the count and Higuchi got the pin.

After the match Takagi and Higuchi called the festival organiser up to the stage. Higuchi told him that the Hand Made Festival is held two times a year. He asked the organiser if he wants DDT to return for the winter festival later this year? The organiser said he would consider it if DDT promises to get more involved with the event.

6. Spring Special In The Summer! Falls Count Anywhere 4 Way Match: Masashi Takeda defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Kazusada Higuchi and MAO when Takeda pinned MAO with the Reverse U-Crash from a Van onto a Chair (24:41).

Things got out of control in the main event. Before the 4 Way Match even started MAO got into a confrontation with Sanshiro Takagi at ringside. They were kept apart until part way through the match when Takagi got sick of MAO’s behaviour and gave him a Stunner at ringside. MAO was carried away but soon after the Shin-Kiba 1st RING shutter gates opened and MAO appeared with a van parked behind him. He got into the van, drove it into the venue and bumped it into Takagi! Masashi Takeda made the match more violent with chairs. He then stuck wooden skewers into Kazusada Higuchi’s head! Higuchi returned the favour by finding more skewers and sticking them on Takeda’s head. With the gates opened, the match moved outside where MAO took out fireworks and gave Higuchi an Anal Explosion. Higuchi recovered and threw MAO into a steel container Razor’s Edge style. Even Konosuke Takeshita got into the hardcore style by using chairs on his opponents and giving Higuchi a Vertical Drop Brainbuster onto a trash can. His most extreme moment came when he placed Higuchi on a table and climbed up a nearby scaffold. Takeshita dove off the scaffold and crushed Higuchi through the table! That would have been the end but Takeda stopped the count by throwing a chair at Takeshita’s head. MAO and Takeda fought their way onto the roof of the van. Takeda gave MAO a German Suplex onto the roof then to cap it all off, he dropped MAO onto a pile of chairs below with the Reverse U-Crash for the 3 count. Takeda returned to the ring and said the match was a fun warm up for a title defence he will have in FREEDOMS tomorrow. He also joked that he doesn’t know if DDT will bring him back because he accidentally broke one of the van mirrors during the match. In a backstage interview Takeshita suggested doing a sumo match against Higuchi sometime.

There was a lot of Right To Challenge Gauntlet movement on today’s show. Tetsuya Endo lost his Gauntlet to Akito in a 6-Man Tag Match. DAMNATION ambushed ALL OUT & Saki Akai at the start but Akito grabbed the win when he trapped Endo in a Samson Clutch. Endo might have an excuse for the defeat. He is confused by this new relationship between Daisuke Sasaki and Asuka. Sasaki got annoyed by Endo’s questions and reminded him what their motto is. Endo answered “We never confrom, kiss ass or get married.” No! Sasaki called Endo stupid and said their motto is now “Big Love!” Sasaki announced he and Asuka will team up again on next week’s episode of “DDT LIVE! MAJI MANJI”, this time without Endo. Then on 22nd July in Korakuen Hall, Sasaki and Asuka will confirm their Big Love together by having a singles match against each other.

HARASHIMA and Antonio Honda got along as a team and were able to beat Irie-gun. However Honda rejected HARASHIMA’s handshake after the match. Instead Honda pulled a bra out from his tights and held it up like it was a title belt. HARASHIMA lifted up his DDT Extreme Title belt in response.

In an attempt to provide as much of an authentic Lucha Libre experience for Ultimo Dragon’s return to DDT, the Timo Timo Timo Dragons requested their match against Shuten-dōji to be Best 2 out of 3 Falls with a 61 minute time limit. Ultimo Dragon himself stopped the unmasking antics from happening. When Hiratimo Dragon’s mask slipped off at the start of the match, Ultimo handed it to him and told him to put it back on. Yuki Iino then pinned Hiratimo with a Lariat to win the blue Right To Challenge Gauntlet. The Timo Dragons all unmasked and framed Yukio Sakaguchi for cheating but Ultimo stopped them again and gave everyone Middle Kicks as punishment. Ultimo then gave Hiratimo the Asai DDT and Sakaguchi pinned Hiratimo to win the 2nd and deciding fall. The result means Sakaguchi now gets Hiratimo’s remaining Gauntlet. After the match Ultimo Dragon ordered the other Dragons to unmask. They did so and revealed they were really Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi and Kazuki Hirata all this time. Fortunately for them, Ultimo saw the funny side and felt honored that these wrestlers tried to imitate him, except for Owashi. Ultimo forgives them and will allow them to continue their gimmick on one condition. They must pay him a rights fee. They already used the gimmick for around 30 matches so they also have to pay him for those 30 matches! The Timo Timo Timo Dragons agreed to end the gimmick and all go back to normal.

Nobody was happier to appear on today’s show than Isami Kodaka. He came here to impress Mari Yaguchi by winning the 3 Way Match and even protected her during the crazier moments of the main event. He couldn’t stop thanking Sanshiro Takagi after his match for the booking. Yukinori Matsui reminded Kodaka not to bring his private life into his public life. He then had to drag Kodaka away from ringside to get the show back on track.

The opening match was held under World Cup rules which meant the much talked about VAR system came into play. Makoto Oishi pinned Kota Umeda with a Low Blow that Matsui missed. Keisuke Ishii’s protests led to Matsui getting the order to check on VAR to see what happened. The decision was made that Oishi fouled Umeda so the match was restarted. Oishi’s complaints led to him getting a yellow card for disruptive behaviour. The foul also meant that Umeda was given a free Penalty Kick to Oishi. VAR was used again when Danshoku Dieno gave Ishii a Low Blow before pinning him with the Gaydo Clutch. Matsui ruled that Dieno fouled Ishii so he too was booked. Umeda got the clean win over Oishi by making him submit to a Camel Clutch. Dieno demanded VAR to be used to reverse the decision. Matsui checked and ruled that there was no foul play so the result stands. Dieno complained but took it too far so Matsui gave him the red card and sent him off!

Ken Ohka’s ass kicking by Tenshin Nasukawa has been rescheduled for 24th July.

*HARASHIMA will cash in his Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Gauntlet.

Next up for Shigehiro Irie is HARASHIMA. That is as long as HARASHIMA has a Right To Challenge Gauntlet. This is the match Irie wants more than anything when it comes to defending the KO-D Openweight Title. HARASHIMA is the one man in DDT that Irie cannot beat one on one. It is this impassible mountain that has sent Irie on international excursions over and over so he could get stronger. If Irie truly has a vision for what DDT should be then beating HARASHIMA may finally see it come to light.

When it comes to going viral, Joey Ryan doesn’t like copycats. So when he found out that Makoto Oishi proposed to Misaki Ohata in the middle of a pro wrestling match, he wasn’t happy about it. Ryan proposed to Laura James during a match first! Clearly there’s only one place to settle this. Sumo Hall! The first match announced for “RYOGOKU PETER PAN 2018” will be couple versus couple. You see, this is the kind of fun that John Cena and Nikki Bella are missing out on.

Princess Cup Final Fight, Imanari Revolution Approaches Its Destination, Up Up Tokyo Joshi

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “UP UP TOKYO JOSHI ~ALL UPPER KICK TOGETHER!~”, 27/06/2018
Shinjuku FACE

1. Continue To Challenge, FIGHTING GIRLS! Challenge Match: Rika Tatsumi Vs Raku
2. Continue To Challenge, FIGHTING GIRLS! Challenge Match: Shoko Nakajima Vs Hikari
3. Continue To Challenge, FIGHTING GIRLS! Challenge Match: Yuka Sakazaki Vs Hinano
4. Continue To Challenge, FIGHTING GIRLS! Challenge Match: Miyu Yamashita Vs Miu

A random draw held yesterday determined the matches. Miu had wanted a singles match with Miyu Yamashita so she is happy with the draw. A chance to wrestle the TOKYO Princess Champion will make up for her failing to qualify for the Tokyo Princess Cup. Yamashita doesn’t know what to expect from Miu. Her only focus is to defeat whoever is put in front of her. However Yamashita kind of sees Miu in the same position that she herself was in with Meiko Satomura last year. Yamashita obviously isn’t on Satomura’s level but the gap of experience here is kind of similar if on a smaller scale. Hinano says that whenever she fought Yuka Sakazaki in tag matches, she felt the atmosphere in the room change. She thinks Sakazaki is scarily fast and that is her strength. Shoko Nakajima is feeling nostalgic about this show because it reminds her of the early Tokyo Joshi Pro events that featured local idol performances inbetween the matches. She feels like she is just as much going to a music festival than she is going to a wrestling show. Hikari is currently the most experienced of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) after competing in the Princess Cup. She lost to Sakazaki but she is looking forward to wrestling the other member of the Miraclians one on one. Rika Tatsumi calls Raku the most beautiful looking girl in the Up Up Girls. She has a mysterious face that cannot be read. Tatsumi was also once a member of an idol group but was kicked out a month after their debut CD was launched. She thinks the Up Up Girls are in a better environment today than she was back then.

Tokyo Seijo Hall

1. GanJo Spring No. 1!: HARUKAZE Vs Moeka Haruhi
2. Road To Independent World Jr!? Hitori Shiten Pro Wrestling Vs Silent Arm Cross: Keisuke Ishii & Chikara Vs Ayumu Honda & Kyu Mogami
3. This Is Ganbare☆Wrestling! ~Charisma Vs Revolutionary~: Ken Ohka Vs Yumehito Imanari

It’s been brewing for two months but the Imanari Revolution will collide with the heart and soul of Ganbare☆Wrestling himself in the main event. Yumehito Imanari launched his revolution to push himself up the card and loosen Ken Ohka’s monopoly of the main event spot in the process. It has led to Imanari winning more than usual and closing the distance while Ohka finds himself a little less relevant in his own promotion.

Keisuke Ishii already has a new challenger for the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title even if he doesn’t believe it. Ayumu Honda from K-DOJO came out at the last show to challenge him for a title shot. Ishii ignored the challenge until Honda attacked him. That somehow still didn’t get his message across but the title match will go ahead at some point anyway. Until then Ishii is teaming with Chikara to take on Honda and his fellow K-DOJO pal Kyu Mogami.

5. Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title: Keisuke Ishii (c) defeated Shuichiro Katsumura with the High Angle Double Arm DDT (21:56).
*V2 for Keisuke Ishii.

From the bottom of his heart, Keisuke Ishii thanked Shuichiro Katsumura for their match today. They hugged and Katsumura left the ring so Ishii could find out who his next challenger would be. Ken Ohka made his way down to the ring but was overtaken by Ayumu Honda from K-DOJO. Honda pointed at the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Title belt, shook Ishii’s hand and left the ring. Ishii didn’t take the hint and asked who his next challenger is. Ohka tried to enter the ring again but Honda beat him to it once more and this time gave Ishii a Codebreaker. He then grabbed Ishii’s hand and shook it again before leaving. When Ishii regained consciousness he once again asked who his challenger is. Ohka gave up and told him it was Honda. Ishii agreed to it. He also told Ohka that he wants to defend the title on both days of the Ganbare☆Climax in August because Ishii wants the belt to shine.

The Imanari Revolution is still on a roll with Yumehito Imanari picking up another win. Imanari told Ohka afterwards that he cannot wait any longer for them to finally have their singles match so they should do it on the 14th July show! Ohka accepted the challenge. Later at the end of the show Imanari interrupted Ohka’s closing speech and took it over.

All low blows were legal in the Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Mineo Fujita match. Tominaga eventually had enough and told Fujita that he wants to get married and have children some day. When the Low Blows stopped, Fujita was able to beat Tominaga with the Swanton Bomb.

Ohka told HARUKAZE that her next match in July will be against Moeka Haruhi. She is formerly from WAVE and is now a freelancer.

6. Special Single Match: Soma Takao defeated HARASHIMA with the Gin And Tonic (8:41).
7. KO-D Openweight Title: Shigehiro Irie (c) defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Beast Bomber (18:25).
*V1 for Shigehiro Irie.

Years of friendship were cast aside all in the name of glory as Shigehiro Irie defended the KO-D Openweight Title against Keisuke Ishii. Both dealt big damage early with Ishii giving Irie a Neckbreaker onto the apron and later Irie Power Bombed Ishii onto the same spot. Irie took the Kneel Kick and kicked out of an Exploder Suplex. He gained control of the match with an Avalanche Death Valley Driver and got a nearfall with the Cannonball Drop. Ishii had a glimmer of hope left with a Hurricanrana but Irie hit back with the Beast Bomber to win. Irie wanted to shake Ishii’s hand after the match but Ishii refused. The next KO-D Title defence will take place on 24th June. The challenger will be determined on 29th May at the return of the Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Rumble! The winner of the match gets the 29/5 title shot but there will also be other Right To Challenge prizes on the line too. Irie said he will defend the title anytime, he doesn’t care where or against who. His goal as champion is to defend the KO-D Title around the world in order to create a new scenery for DDT.

A new costume marked Soma Takao’s turn to DAMNATION complete. More than that, constant cheating helped him beat HARASHIMA. A distraction from Tetsuya Endo allowed Takao to Low Blow his opponent. Takao was about to be pinned with a Hurricane Driver when Daisuke Sasaki pulled the referee away. A turnbuckle pad was removed and HARASHIMA collided with the exposed metal. Takao then struck him with a chair and pinned him with the Gin And Tonic.

When the match was over, Sasaki told everyone that Takao achieved a perfect victory over HARASHIMA. Takao didn’t respond and stayed quiet. Sasaki then mockingly asked HARASHIMA to apologise to his fans for losing. Endo pretended to speak for him. All of DAMNATION ganged up on HARASHIMA until suddenly Shuten-dōji came to the rescue! They chased DAMNATION out of the ring and each of them shook HARASHIMA’s hand. Is this the start of a new alliance against DAMNATION?

Makoto Oishi wasn’t joking when he said he wanted a new generation of DDT wrestlers to replace the current generation. He made Nobuhiro Shimatani dress up like Danshoku Dieno, Daiki Shimomura dress up like Antonio Honda and Yuki Iino dress up like Super Sasadango Machine. They weren’t quite perfect copies. Iino had a PowerPoem to read instead of a PowerPoint presentation. However he wanted to review it by himself so he didn’t get involved in the match until late into it when Oishi ordered him to help. Iino entered the ring and Speared Oishi by accident. Dieno then pinned Oishi with the Gay-do Clutch. After the match Honda said his team were still mentally and physically energetic even though they were all over forty. Honda fainted from exhaustion before he could finish his sentence. Everyone else congratulated Dieno for turning 41 two days earlier.

Konosuke Takeshita pulled out the Turnbuckle Brainbuster to beat Shunma Katsumata. He wanted this match to motivate Katsumata. Part of that is to make Katsumata face his criticisms. He is a pro wrestler and pro wrestlers should not have to worry about criticism according to Takeshita. Katsumata also learned more about himself. He always pretended to be a nice little boy and he never knew what he was fighting for. Now he understands what to do and he hopes not to disappoint the rest of ALL OUT from now on.

Kicks from Kota Umeda and Lariats from Kazuzada Higuchi took such a toll on each other that both were left down for the count at the same time, resulting in a draw. Higuchi offered a handshake afterwards but Umeda kicked his hand away.

A left foot injury took Yuki Ueno out of the 4 Way Tag Match. DDT was still searching for a replacement when they found Shota working in the venue as part of the staff. Shota declined at first but took the spot when the audience chanted his name. He ended up losing the match to DAMNATION.

All three of the Dragon wrestlers unmasked themselves and successfully framed KUDO to win the match by DQ. Hiratimo Dragon is being coy about how many -timo Dragon wrestlers there are. Maybe there are more, maybe there aren’t.

Tomomitsu Matsunaga beat Rekka again. This time he blocked a cradle pin and pushed all his weight down on Rekka to get the three count.

This year’s Beer Garden week will be held in Shinjuku FACE from 30th July to 5th August. Tokyo Joshi Pro and BASARA will have their own produce days during the series. Also the King Of DDT 1st Round will be held on 31st July as part of the festivities. This year’s tournament is the largest ever with 32 wrestlers competing for a 1,000,000 yen prize.

The new DDT mascot that was introduced back in April has been named Doradori-kun.
