Nobihiro Shimatani got so much confidence from beating Takato Nakano on Sunday that he challenged Isami Kodaka to a match!

The trainee Keigo Nakamura has spent all year working at DDT shows and getting dragged into other wrestler’s antics. He finally gets to debut but his opponent Naomi Yoshimura does not want to face him until he weighs at least 75kg. Nakamura weighed himself on Sunday and learned he is at 71.7kg. He weighed himself again today and found out he dropped down to 70kg! He’ll weigh himself again next week with the hopes of reaching at least 72kg.

An email was sent to the DDT office by somebody identifying themselves as the manager of DAMNATION. This person complained about being called plump in the marketing for the BOYZ show. At first Akito thought the email was sent by Shimatani but then considered who out of DAMNATION would also get offended if they were called plump. Tetsuya Endo then became Akito’s main suspect. He decided to change the Shimatani Vs Kouki Iwasaki match into a tag bout between Shimatani & Endo against Iwasaki & Keisuke Ishii. Now he just has to make sure Endo will show up and Ishii is available.

Whoever leaves the show as the Independent World Jr. Heavyweight Champion is guaranteed to defend it in Sumo Hall this November. Keisuke Ishii was the champion before Shuichiro Katsumura won it off him back in January. Since then Katsumura has defended it five times. If he wins here then he will tie Ishii’s amount of successful defences.

Just to be clear, Kenichiro Arai is the Toryumon graduate and Yumehito Imanari is the art student.

Shota and Shinichiro Tominaga face each other in a battle between damaged ACLs.

Originally Koharu Hinata was booked for the show but she is now unable to appear. In a completely unrelated matter Miss Koharu became available so she takes her place.

Nakajima’s excursion to Mexico with CMLL will be over by the time this show takes place. No word yet on if she will be on this show but it’s likely. Tokyo Joshi have confirmed she will not be on the 9th, 10th and 16th November shows.

3. Yuki Kamifuku & Mina Shirakawa defeated Miyu Yamashita & Himawari Unagi when Shirakawa pinned Unagi with the Implant DDT (8:19).
4. Miu Watanabe, Hikari Noa & Raku defeated Yuka Sakazaki, Yuki Aino & Pom Harajuku when Noa pinned Aino with the Uranage (12:13).
5. Sakisama & Misao defeated Rika Tatsumi & Suzume when Sakisama submitted Suzume with a Goku-rakugatame (11:26).
6. Shoko Nakajima & Mizuki defeated Dalys & Nodoka Tenma when Nakajima pinned Tenma with the Northern Lights Suplex (10:34).

The first International Princess Title reign has been cut short over an unfortunate injury. The champion Natsumi Maki went into the match in less than 100% after suffering lower back pains from yesterday’s match. But while that did have an effect on some moves, it was Maki twisting her leg while taking the Neck Screw Hold from Yuna Manase that derailed their match. Maki was able to kick out of the pin but was unable to stand back up. She got out of the ring where the ringside attendants were able to check on her. A countout began but she got back into the ring at 18. She tried to continue fighting on one knee and refused to call off the match when asked. Maki eventually could stand back up but she was unable to walk. Manase hit a Lariat on Maki to win the championship under tragic circumstances. Manase didn’t celebrate her win. Instead she carried Maki on her back out of the ring. She was then encouraged to return and accept the title belt that she just won. Manase quickly thanked everyone for supporting Tokyo Joshi Pro and she is glad to have found this promotion.

It was announced at the start of the show that Shoko Nakajima will be going on excursion to Mexico this November. She will be gone for two weeks starting on 5th November and will be wrestling on CMLL shows during this period. But first she got to experience fighting against a luchadora by taking on Dalys in a tag match. Nakajima’s team won but Dalys pointed at the Princess Of Princess Title belt and shouted “Mexico!” after the match. Nakajima hopes she will still be the champion when she goes on her excursion so maybe a title defence against Dalys will be in store.

Opponents yesterday, partners today. Unfortunately the bond between Rika Tatsumi & Suzume couldn’t beat NEO Biishiki-gun. Even after the match Tatsumi was knocked away when she tried to confront Misao. When Tatsumi & Suzume left, Yuki Kamifuku entered the ring. She said that she wants to be as beautiful and cool as Sakisama. The best way to do that is challenge for the Princess Tag Team Titles with Mina Shirakawa! Her Cat’s Pye partner came out and said she already has a title belt but she wants to aim even higher by winning a Tokyo Joshi Pro championship. She started to rap about the challenge until Sakisama accepted so she would stop.

Hikari Noa finally gets her win over Yuki Aino.

Misao has been defeated for the first time since her transformation into Sakisama’s guardswoman. Shoko Nakajima was able to reach the ropes to break the Libera Me submission hold. She used a Double Arm DDT to put Misao in position and won with the Diving Senton. With her toughest challenge so far now behind her, Nakajima decided that the next Princess Of Princess Title match should be held at DDT “ULTIMATE PARTY 2019!” on 3rd November. She already decided on her opponent: Yuka Sakazaki! Together they will show DDT fans the best of Tokyo Joshi Pro at Sumo Hall! They did the Miraclians pose together to end the show. Sakazaki kind of forgot how to do it so Nakajima had to guide her.

Yuna Manase entered to new music. Mina Shirakawa wore the Best Body Japan Women’s Title that she won on 1st September down to the ring. Natsumi Maki mentioned feeling pain around her waist after her match and had to be carried away from the ring. It turned out to be minor and will not effect tomorrow’s International Princess Title defence against Manase. Maki noticed that Manase’s kicks today had more strength behind them than before.

Hikari Noa defeated Miu Watanabe in the latest match between members of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling).

Yuki Kamifuku lost to Sakisama but had enough energy left to call for her attention after the match. Kamifuku asked Sakisama what she thinks of her now? Kamifuku thinks she is working hard and doing so both happily and beautifully. She then asked Sakisama to please keep an eye on her. Sakisama surprised everyone by telling her she is looking forward to it.

Rika Tatsumi versus Suzume was a little emotional because the two have been friends since before Suzume trained to become a wrestler. Even though Tatsumi targeted Suzume’s legs in the match and could have beaten her with a Figure 4 Leg Lock, she instead decided to win with the Dragon Sleeper in order to show off her dragon skills. She thinks that hiding beneath Suzume’s pretty look is a strong and tenacious girl. Pro wrestling will bring that girl to the surface.

There were a lot of reunions and old faces appearing today to celebrate Masahiro Takanashi’s 16 years as a pro wrestler. In the main event Takanashi fought Danshoku Dieno with Muscle Sakai and Yusuke Inokuma in Dieno’s corner. Takanashi used some of Dieno’s own moves against him including a Lip Lock on the top turnbuckle. It was to set up an Avalanche Takatonic but Dieno countered it into an Avalanche Implant. But there was still life left in Takanashi. He avoided the Danshoku Driver and stunned Dieno with Thrust Kicks until he could win with the Takatonic.

After the match Takanashi was reunited with KUDO and Yukio Sakaguchi. KUDO said it felt good to be inside a wrestling ring again. It’s not a place to talk but a place to fight. He assured everyone that he will come back to wrestling in the near future. Takanashi said that today felt like everybody was coming home. Everyone here is different but they all protect DDT with their own way of fighting. He will continue to do the same because there must be a ring for everyone to come home to, no matter where they are. Last year Takanashi lost his 15th anniversary match in this venue. He walked out without saying a word. This year things went better for him and he wants to stand in front of the fans, thanking them for coming today to see him. Later backstage Takanashi announced that he is will not be entering the upcoming D-Ou Grand Prix tournament. He cited his poor performances in the previous two tournaments as his reason. DDT was going to offer him a spot again but Takanashi turned it down so he can go on a different path he wants to take.

DAMNATION thought they were going to have a 4 on 1 advantage against Sanshiro Takagi. However Takagi gathered together an all star team of DDT legends to even the odds. Takashi Sasaki, GENTARO & Tanomusaku Toba fought with Takagi while Poison Sawada JULIE watched from their corner. But in a twist JULIE betrayed Takagi by spraying Green Mist into his face while Takagi tried to give Daisuke Sasaki the Sit Down Himawari Bomb. Sasaki slipped out and pinned Takagi with a School Boy. JULIE told Takagi that they are enemies for life. Takashi Sasaki and Daisuke Sasaki teased a Sasaki Contra Sasaki Showdown. Daisuke Sasaki then told JULIE that if he ever comes back, he will quit DAMNATION so the two of them can run the Snake World together.

Before Match #2 began Takanashi reminded everyone that the Consumption Tax in Japan will increase to 10% this October. There are many things Takanashi wants to do before this change happens, like sending a message to two important people in his life in order to settle a lifelong rivalry between them. Hence the match between Super Sasadango Machine and DJ Nira. Sasadango came out as Muscle Sakai dressed in casual clothes. Sakai refused to wrestle Nira because he is retired. He got tricked into doing some moves and had his clothes removed to reveal his wrestling gear underneath. He still refused to wrestle. Hisaya Imabayashi got in the ring and put the Sasadango mask over Sakai’s head, granting him his approval to wrestle the match. Sasadango took control of the match and hit an F5. He then went for a Vertical Drop Brainbuster but the room went dark. A voiceover said that the Brainbuster went wrong and this was how Sasadango created his famous Vertical Drop Lehmann Shock finishing move! This entire match turned out to be Sasadango’s origin story called “Super Sasadango Machine Episode Zero”!

The Gauntlet Tag match was a visit through DDT’s past as well as Takanashi’s wrestling relationships outside the company. Antonio Honda & Riho first eliminated Toru Owashi & Kazuki Hirata when Riho blocked Hirata’s knockout chop and rolled him up. The next team was supposed to be Yusuke Inokuma & MAO but they were injured before the show and a expected to be out of action for the next 30 years. Replacing them was the menacing return of Gaijin A & Gaijin A! They attacked Honda, Riho and Yukinori Matsui with sellotape, even hanging Riho over the ring ropes with it! Honda fought back and used the tape to hang both of the Gaijin A’s before knocking them to the floor for the elimination. Riho recovered in time for Konosuke Takeshita & Gorgeous Matsuno’s entry into the match. The unexpectedly sharp teamwork between Takeshita & Matsuno led to Takeshita submitting Honda with the Walls Of Takeshita after Matsuno his the Gorgeous Star Elbow. When Emi Sakura & Cherry came out, Takeshita attempted the Gorgeous Star Elbow but got caught in the ropes. Sakura was easily able to pin Matsuno without anyone there to stop her. A collision between Sakura & Cherry allowed Mei Suruga to pin Sakura with the Shoulder Propeller Clutch. Next up were Gota Ihashi, Shota & Chinsuke Nakamura all dressed up like Shuten-dōji wrestlers. Ihashi was Yukio Sakaguchi, Shota was Masahiro Takanashi and Chinsuke was KUDO. Suruga stopped Chinsuke from doing the Diving Double Knee Drop while Saki Akai pinned Ihashi with the Rookie Award. The joshi team’s run came to an end when Yasu Urano & Ken Ohka eliminated them. Urano countered the Propeller Clutch into a Cradle for the pin. The last team to come out was Hoshitango & Seiya Morohashi. They won the match when Morohashi made Ohka give up to the Crippler Crossface. However Morohashi and Ohka continued to fight after the match prompting Hoshitango and Urano to break them up.

In the boxing match Miyako Haru whistled Chupacabra down to the ring. It knocked Pokotan’s head off with an uppercut, revealing a rubber Danshoku Dieno mask underneath. Pokoton then knocked out Chupacabra with a Straight Right. Afterwards Sayako Obihiro pulled the rubber mask off to reveal Pokotan was Daichi Kakimoto!

Tomomitsu Matsunaga decided to wrestle in a sumo mawashi.

A few injuries during the week alters tomorrow’s card. The light one is Sanshiro Takagi. He injured his right eye and is missing this show. He will be getting it further examined next week but hopes to be clear for Masahiro Takanashi’s show on the 15th. Gorgeous Matsuno took it upon himself to replace Takagi in Match #2.

The bad injury happened to Kazusada Higuchi during yesterday’s “UNIVERSE.1” show. He tore his right PCL and has no timetable for a return. He does not need surgery and will be aiming to recover as soon as possible. Ryota Nakatsu takes Higuchi’s place in Match #3.

I wonder if Sakisama holds a grudge with Yuki Kamifuku over her attempt to join NEO Biishiki-gun last year? Kamifuku joined the unit as an apprentice last May then quit after two weeks when she figured out it was a bad fit for her.

Miu Watanabe Vs Hikari Noa is a match to watch out for. The two members of the Up Up Girls (Pro Wrestling) have developed so much in the ring this year and part of the reason why is they branched out to other tag teams outside of their unit (Momoiro Sparkling for Watanabe and Pandemic Boo-Boo for Noa). Gotta be honest here, I think Raku is in danger of never catching up to them.

Cody Hall is the mystery wrestler in the opener. He met Antonio Honda and got along with him because the Gongitsune hand gesture resembles the Wolfpac gesture that Cody’s dad Scott Hall is known for.

The BOYZ brand is getting a fresh start under Akito’s management. Wrestlers booked on the first show will also be appearing at the SHIBUYA FASHION AWARD-BE Vint-Age 2019 festival the same day to promote a fashion brand called Yukihero Pro Wrestling. The main event will feature the wrestlers involved wearing costumes from that clothing line.

Akito doesn’t remember ever seeing MAO wrestle Takeshita in a singles match so he decided to book it before MAO’s excursion. Kouki Iwasaki is being booked on BOYZ because Akito wants to see him interact with DDT wrestlers more often. Higuchi and Yuki Iino are also being booked despite their alliance to the YaroZ brand. Akito believes there are women at these shows who find those kind of men attractive too. Akito plans to present them in a way that makes them more suitable for the BOYZ brand. DAMNATION wrestlers are disallowed except for Nobuhiro Shimatani because he works under Akito at the Drop Kick Bar.

Kenny Omega returns to wrestle in DDT after a five year absence. A lot has changed since then but for now the people he wanted in his match are his biggest rival (Honda), his first tag partner (Riho, not “him”) and the wrestler who possibly might have caught his attention the most (Miyu Yamashita). Will there be more coming out of this? Wouldn’t be a party without surprises, would it?

He is using this technology to screen one of Yuna Manase’s DVDs. Those who see it will feel like they are being wrapped around in Manase’s motherhood.

Manase doesn’t get what Imanari is trying to do, she is only focusing on her match. And er… at least I think it is a match. The set up is the main event features the Pocchaminator, a cyborg from the year 2050 that has traveled back in time to kill people who have a BMI value above a certain level on behalf of major advertising agencies. The resistance is led by one person. Not Yuna Manase but Mana Connor! If she cannot stop the P-800 then there is no future for Pocchari Joshi Pro!

Konosuke Takeshita’s mother Keiko is a special ambassador on the show. She will oversee the match between Imanari and her son. Imanari hopes that Keiko will show as much love for him as she does for her own son.

I thought this show was just supposed to be a Trainspotting parody…

Chris Brookes is calling Konosuke Takeshita a boring wrestler. He even felt a little disappointed when he watched Takeshita win the KO-D Openweight Title in the main event yesterday. Takeshita in response calls Brookes the UK’s best wrestler, but then called himself the world’s best wrestler. Before this match takes places, Takeshita will be wrestling in Hindmarsh, Australia for Sub-Zero Pro this Friday. His goal is to win the title there and collect championships from around the world until the Olympics begin.

Akito has nominated Jiro Kuroshio as the next challenger for the DDT Extreme Title. However Kuroshio is already booked on this show so there is no date decided yet for the title match. Akito would like the match to take place on 3rd August at Beer Garden week.

Sanshiro Takagi wants revenge on Yumehito Imanari for revealing his phone number during yesterday’s Weapon Rumble. Takagi was still getting phone calls in the middle of the night. Imanari said the prank is opening up new opportunities for DDT because every company now knows where to call Takagi.

Makoto Oishi is being moved to the 3 Way Tag match since he has partnered up with Yukio Naya before. He is being replaced by Saki Akai in the product placement match.

That is not a mistake. Akito wants Yuki Ueno to be wrestling on both teams. Akito is not in his own Marunage match because he thinks his only responsibility is to produce it. Ueno regularly teams with Naomi Yoshimura but also regularly trains with Takeshita. Oh, there is also the fact that Yoshimura and Takeshita don’t get along. This is a good three way relationship for Akito to experiment which is why he made this match.

Mike Bailey and Shunsuke Sayama will be on the show.
