The match will be Soccer Vs Sumo where only items relating to either sport are permitted to be used as weapons. Sumo is Yuki Ishida’s sport of course while To-y had a background in playing football before he became a pro wrestler.

Something to keep an eye on as we continue building up towards Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai is if there will be more damage done to Watanabe’s lower back. She is well aware of how much Arai is relying on the Scorpion Death Lock as her kill move lately.

GANBARE☆PRO “GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE 2026”, 07/03/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Shigehiro Irie Vs Shota Kawakami
2. Yumehito Imanari Vs Sentaro Motoshima
3. YuuRI Vs Shoko Nakajima
4. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) Vs Takuya Wada

A trial series has been put together by Ganbare☆Pro for its young wrestlers in order to help them step up while Yuna Manase and Munetatsu Nakamura are on the shelf with injuries. Shoko Nakajima has been called in from Tokyo Joshi Pro to give YuuRI a match, Sentaro Motoshima is going to take on GanPro’s former two time champion Yumehito Imanari and Shota Kawakami is going to have to avoid getting crushed by Shigehiro Irie’s Cannonball attacks.

SUPER JAPAN “JUDGEMENT”, 24/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Single Match: Yuji Nagata Vs Fuminori Abe
2. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Kazunari Murakami
3. Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Poison Sawada JULIE

It doesn’t matter what alternate timeline we are in, Sanshiro Takagi and Poison Sawada JULIE are still going to feud with each other. They have been enemies in DDT for a long time but it’s been 17 years since their last singles match against each other apparently. Super Japan gets the honour of reviving the matchup.

Super Japan is also pitting their ace Yuji Nagata against Fuminori Abe in a first time singles bout. They’ve already wrestled each other in two of the previous three Super Japan shows.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’26”, 29/03/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan

1. Mizuki Vs Andreza Giant Panda
2. Special Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Hyper Misao & Super Sasadango Machine
3. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) Vs Suzume
4. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee
5. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Yuki Arai

Just when the mystery was getting good, the perpetrator has come out and admitted the crime. The indy wrestling outfit New Nemuro Pro Wrestling sent a video to TJPW taking the credit for stealing Mizuki’s Pico Pico Hammer while leaving behind an American flag as a red herring. New Nemuro’s most famous wrestler Andreza Giant Panda was memorably hit over the head by Mizuki with her hammer back in 2024 in a moment that went viral across the internet due to how photogenic it was. Andreza was left humiliated by what happened and Shin Nemuro felt that their reputation was tarnished over it too. Ever since that moment Andreza had been waiting on an opportunity to get his revenge. Thus Mizuki’s hammer got stolen and Andreza has challenged her to a singles match at Sumo Hall!

8. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Yasu Urano Vs Ayato Yoshida
9. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ilusion Vs Fuminori Abe
10. Extreme Five Warriors Iron Man Tournament: Ikuto Hidaka Vs Ayato Yoshida

Each match will have a ten minute time limit. As best as I can tell, the winner of the one night round robin will be whoever has the highest score of total falls in all of their Iron Man matches combined. Given the show consists of ten Iron Man Matches that sounds like a nightmare to keep track of for one night.

The first two “URANO EN” events that Yasu Urano put together took place last year and were both Iron Man matches with Ikuto Hidaka and Akito respectively. The matches are on Minoru Fujita’s Youtube channel under the Live archive tab. I don’t think I’m going to follow this regularly unless BASARA continues to help promote it.

We’re less than a week away from the DDT Extreme Title match and To-y hasn’t come up with the stipulation yet. He and Yuki Ishida have been arguing on Twitter about it.

Viento Maligno is now here as part of Strange Love Connection.

Another new unit seems to be appearing on the horizon. Takeshi Masada & Yuya Koroku want to start a group built around the D GENERATIONS wrestlers. Does either Daichi Kazato or Rukiya want to join in?

DDT “ICHIKABACHIKA 2026”, 11/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & KANON (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine

Over in New Japan recently Yota Tsuji ruffled some feathers by criticizing the company’s owners Bushiroad for treating the wrestlers as nothing more than just content for trading card and gacha games. Well Super Sasadango Machine wishes CyberAgent would be that way for the likes of him and Danshoku Dieno! They need to make a convincing argument so they’ve challenged MAO & KANON for the KO-D Tag Team Titles. If they win the belts they hope it will raise their power within DDT to start making some business demands and turn the company towards the TGC and gacha industries.

4. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs KANON

This year’s D GENERATIONS CUP winner Kazuma Sumi has earned himself a DDT Universal Title shot. Daisuke Sasaki congratulated him with a kick to the balls. Sounds like something he would do.

It’s not Magnum TOKYO but we’re one step away from it. Kazuki Hirata is getting John Robinson, the DJ behind “TOKYO GO!” to perform the song live for his entrance!

Shunma Katsumata wants MAO to be his first opponent for his big return match. It’s a match MAO has wanted too because one of the reasons he left The 37KAMIINA was to become Katsumata’s opponent rather than his teammate.

His match hasn’t been announced yet but DDT’s newest signing Masami Inahata will debut on this show.

BASARA “BASARA 303 ~UTAGE~”, 27/03/2026

5. Iron Fist Tag Team Titles: Takumi Tsukamoto & Daiki Shimomura (c) defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida when Tsukamoto pinned Ishida with the Running Zudon (16:41).
*V2 for Takumi Tsukamoto & Daiki Shimomura.

The Iron Fist Tag Team Champions had some sumo spirit of their own to combat Harimao and their “Dosukoi” efforts. Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida both had Daiki Shimomura scouted and came up with ways to keep him grounded. But Takumi Tsukamoto knew to target Ishida and had counters for the Flame Palm. Nakatsu made the mistake of missing Tsukamoto with a Lariat and hitting Ishida with it instead. He made up for it by breaking the pin after the Zudon but Tsukamoto couldn’t be stopped from using the running version of his finisher to pin Ishida.

After the match Tsukamoto praised his opponents and told Ishida he loves sumo so much he may as well be an expert of the sport. He knew Ishida was a strong sumo wrestlers so he was incredibly happy to fight him today. He then told Shimomura he doesn’t expect anybody to come out and challenge them so they should leave. However Aijin Tag then walked out and told the champions they are going to get the next title shot. Tsukamoto then played it off like he was expecting this to happen and Aijin Tag just fell into his trap. Takato Nakano told him Aijin Tag will show everyone that they are BASARA’s longest running tag team for a reason. He also later told Masato Kamino that he’s been messing around too much lately.

All three participants in the next Union MAX Title match were teaming together today. Daichi Kazato made it a difficult experience for the team because he spent more time trying to provoke Shuji Ishikawa than he did their opponents. Then whenever he did try to fight the other team he kept self-destructing with his moves. Kazato finally found his groove doing double team moves with Tsutomu Oosugi until Ishikawa decided to throw him out of the ring with the Splash Mountain! Oosugi then knocked Ishikawa out of the ring and got to win the match by himself. Ishikawa criticised Kazato, calling him a boring and self-centred wrestler. Kazato wants to know why Ishikawa really came back to BASARA and likened him to a middle aged man returning to his alma mater to regain his self-esteem. Meanwhile Oosugi later let some reporters know that he will be using Kazato as his secret weapon to win the 3 Way Match for the MAX Title!

6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) defeated Shinichiro Tominaga with a Crucifix Pin (17:08).
*V5 for Masaaki Mochizuki.

It was a rocky road to get to this show with some changes happening along the way. Masaaki Mochizuki was supposed to defend the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title against Munetatsu Nakamura but Nakamura pulled out with a neck injury and was replaced by Shinichiro Tominaga. Then the location of the show had to change from Takashimadaira Kumin Center over to Shin-Kiba 1st RING on short notice because the first venue was being turned into a polling station for the upcoming House Of Representative elections.

In the main event, Tominaga came close to winning with his finisher but Mochizuki countered it with a sudden Crucifix Pin to win the match and survive a close shave. He praised Tominaga for acting like a pinch hitter for today’s show. He heard that Tominaga is the strongest “amateur” pro wrestler but today’s performance showed there is nothing amateur about him. He had more of a sense for pro wrestling than many people Mochizuki has fought in the past. Mizuki Watase entered the ring and talked up Mochizuki for being a great champion. Watase feels like he is at the point where he can beat a great champion like Mochizuki so he wants a title shot. The champion knew he would face Watase some day but didn’t expect it to be this soon, although he admits the time is right in Watase’s case.

Yuya Susumu has come back to Ganbare☆Pro on a mission to get a singles match against Keisuke Ishii. In today’s tag match he countered Ishii’s Double Arm DDT into a Crossface Lock, making Ishii immediately tap out to the move. Susumu then promised he isn’t going to run away from GanPro just because he beat Ishii today. He’ll come back so he can get that singles match he wants so much.

At the end of the show Ken Ohka announced he will be teaming up with freelance wrestler Hiroaki Moriya at GanPro’s Osaka show on 1st March. They are scheduled to face Touchable at the show so Ohka wants the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles to be on the line. Yumehito Imanari agreed to the challenge but only on the condition that Ohka goes and vote in the elections before then.

More last minute changes were needed when Moeka Haruhi and Choun Shiryu both unexpectedly no showed the event. Luckily GanPro had two replacements on hand who had a grievance with each other. Hong Kong International Police Woman defeated Hong Kong International Police Man in a match that was built around a crime case involving police corruption.

DDT “NEPPA OVER FLOWERS 5 ~THE ONLY SAUNA IN THE WORLD~”, 14/02/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Shinya Aoki Vs Hinata Kasai
2. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Shin KONOSUKE TAKESHITA, MAO & Takeshi Masada Vs Danshoku Dieno, Kazuki Hirata & Koju Takeda
3. Special Single Match: Minoru Suzuki Vs To-y

The 37KAMIINA are sparing no expense for their Valentine’s Day produce show. Shin Konosuke Takeshita returns for a special trios match that will also include Koju Takeda from Triple Six. Takeda will be retiring from pro wrestling soon so this seems to be the only way he can reunite with Danshoku Dieno inside a DDT ring. Also does the existence of Shin Konosuke Takeshita mean there now also exists a Shin Kyle Fletcher?

One month into FANTÔMES DRAMATIC and Hinata Kasai is disappointed he hasn’t been able to team with the other members so far since joining. He might have to wait even longer because one of his upcoming matches is a singles bout with Shinya Aoki.

BAKA GAIJIN + FRIENDS “VOL. 28: BIG BEAT FROM BADSVILLE”, 24/02/2026
Tokyo ARENA Shimokitazawa

1. Special Single Match: Kota Sekifuda Vs HARASHIMA
2. Special Single Match: Antonio Honda Vs Miyu Yamashita
3. Special Single Match: Chris Brookes Vs Yuta Oya

Looks like Kota Sekifuda is fully accepted into the Baka Gaijin & Friends space. He and HARASHIMA had some interactions during the Baka Battle Royal in December, the memorable one being HARASHIMA using Sekifuda’s snake to put him in a literal Cobra Twist.

DDT “JUDGEMENT 2026 ~29TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION 5 HOUR SPECIAL~”, 22/03/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Dramatic Dream Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Kazuki Hirata
2. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs KANON

After having a not so glamorous debut last September, Evil Uno returns to DDT for the 29th Anniversary show hoping to get better circumstances for his match this time.

Daisuke Sasaki will be wrestling overseas during the month of April. At the moment this show is the latest DDT even happening in March so his last match in Japan for the period might be here.

Sasaki Wants DDT To Be More Like WCW, Takechi Pulled From This Sunday’s Show, Super Japan Getting Will Be Judged

January 23, 2026

DDT “MISSION IN BATTLE ~SHINSHUN KENRAN~”, 25/01/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Junta Miyawaki
2. Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Yuni, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai Vs Ryuma Tsukamoto, Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida, Ilusion & Kazuma Sumi
3. Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul Vs Naomi Yoshimura & Kumadori
4. Special 6-Man Tag Match ~ Yoshihiko Return Match: Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko Vs Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda
5. Special Tag Match: KONOSUKE TAKESHITA & Jun Akiyama Vs HARASHIMA & To-y
6. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & KANON (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya
7. KO-D Openweight Title & DDT Universal Title – Irregular 3 Way Match: Yuki Ueno (c/c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki Vs Chris Brookes

There’s going to be some changes in DDT if Daisuke Sasaki gets his way and wins more championships. He currently holds the O-40 Title and wants to create a DDT Triple Crown by winning both the KO-D Openweight Title and DDT Universal Title. Then he won’t have to defend the belts against anyone under the age of forty and DDT will start to resemble the final years of WCW. Sasaki is fond of that period because the shows would always end with interferences and he was also looked up to Scott Hall for being an alcoholic. Sasaki admits he always finds negative things to be cool. Should Sasaki achieve the “Triple Crown” and only fights other wrestlers over forty, he theorizes that he will then have the likes of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar as potential challengers because right now DDT hasn’t been lining up opponents for his O-40 Title. WWE hasn’t responded to his requests though. Sasaki also doesn’t like how Yuki Ueno and Chris Brookes are drawing in bigger audiences of young women to the shows. He would prefer the audience to be full of older men who look like Tetsu Inada.

Stage actress Yuzuki Hoshimoto will be in attendance to second the Strange Love Connection in the KO-D Tag Team Titles match. She previously appeared in DDT with the team at last November’s Korakuen Hall show.

The big draw of the show has gone down! Kaisei Takechi has been pulled from the show because he currently has an infectious case of pink eye. He will now be replaced by To-y in the big tag match also featuring HARASHIMA, Konosuke Takeshita and Jun Akiyama. That also means To-y has been plucked out of the 10-Man Tag Match. Ryoma Tsukamoto has been called in to take his place in that bout.

GANBARE☆PRO “NEW YEAR’S BLUES 2026”, 31/01/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Sentaro Motoshima Vs Akira Shoji
2. Moeka Haruhi Vs Choun Shiryu
3. Yuna Manase & YuuRI Vs Chanyota & Non Toraga
4. Ken Ohka & Mizuki Watase Vs Fuminori Abe & Shota Kawakami
5. Yumehito Imanari & Keisuke Ishii Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) Vs Shinichiro Tominaga

The tag match pitting Ganbare☆Joshi against P.P.P. Tokyo will be Non Toraga’s first appearance in Ganbare☆Pro.

More details on Munetatsu Nakamura’s neck injury have come to light. He has been diagnosed with a herniated cervical disc and will not return to action until 7th March at the earliest. Even then that could be delayed if he does not get cleared by his doctor.

SUPER JAPAN “JUDGEMENT”, 24/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Kazunari Murakami

History will repeat itself with Sanshiro Takagi’s alternate history spin off. At the end of 2025 he felt the time was right to end the Super Japan project because thr year long celebration of his 30th Anniversary in wrestling had been completed. However his appointed ace of the promotion Yuji Nagata revealed that he had Shinjuku FACE booked for 24th March for a show of his own and decided that it should go to Super Japan instead so it could either continue or at least give everyone a proper farewell. Taking a page out of DDT’s beginning all the way back in 1997, Takagi decided that this upcoming show in March will end with a fan vote on whether or not Super Japan should continue. “JUDGEMENT” was the name of that very first DDT show in ’97 so it is only fitting for the name to be used here as well. Now we have to see if history will repeat itself.

The first match announced is an intriguing pro wrestling match between MMA backgrounds. Shinya Aoki faces Kazunari Murakami, the man with perhaps the most surliest face you will ever see in pro wrestling. He tends to be a snappy dresser too.

Names currently scheduled for the show include Yuji Nagata, Sanshiro Takagi, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, Fuminori Abe and Munenori Sawa.

GANBARE☆PRO “NEW YEAR’S BLUES 2026”, 31/01/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Yumehito Imanari & Keisuke Ishii Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) Vs Shinichiro Tominaga

The upcoming snap elections happening in Japan’s House Of Representatives has caused an unintended side effect for Ganbare☆Pro’s next event. They are supposed to have a show in Takashimadaira Kumin Center on 31st January but the building will no longer be available on that date in order to be turned into a polling station for early voters. GanPro were able to act quickly and book Shin-Kiba 1st RING as the replacement venue for the same date and start time. They felt the need to go ahead with the show because they’ve already sold tickets and would find it difficult to reschedule the guest wrestlers they have booked for it.

Daichi Sato currently leads the A Block by himself while Yuya Koroku and Rukiya are both tied for first in the B Block. To-y, Yuki Ishida, Kazuma Sumi, Yuni and Takeshi Masada all still have fighting chances of making the final while Ilusion and Hinata Kasai are both out of the running.

Kazusada Higuchi has to take another leave of absence for now, this time because of a neck injury. There is no timeline yet for how long he will be out of action for.

BASARA “BASARA 297 ~UTAGE~” Results

January 16, 2026

BASARA “BASARA 297 ~UTAGE~”, 16/01/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. Takeru Inoue defeated Ryuma Sekimo with the Tiger Driver (9:09).
2. Ayumu Honda defeated Daichi Kazato with the Cross Armbreaker (8:50).
3. 3 Way Match: Tsutomu Oosugi (w/ Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi) defeated Ryota Nakatsu and Takato Nakano when Oosugi pinned Nakano with the Tsuki no Ishi (6:27).
4. SAGAT, Lil’ Kraken & Minoru Fujita defeated Takumi Tsukamoto, Daiki Shimomura & Banana Senga when Kraken pinned Shimomura with the period. (11:58).
5. Shuji Ishikawa & Yasu Urano defeated FUMA & Masato Kamino when Ishikawa pinned Kamino with the Running Knee Lift (15:49).

In the build up to Shuji Ishikawa defending the Union MAX Title against FUMA at the end of the month, Ishikawa won today’s tag match and warned he can get even better for the title match because he was fighting a fever this week going into today’s show. He promised to play “Union Rocker” again when he defends the title but FUMA said he will play the song instead when he wins the belt from Ishikawa!

Lil’ Kraken claims that the Dropkick he took from Daiki Shimomura at the start of the match was so strong it made him lose sight in one eye but he was able to get revenge in the end by beating him. He said the Super Family will win the Iron Fist Tag Team Titles on 31st January and will send the current champions to the depths of despair. SAGAT said they will win by any means necessary but they won’t cheat. Takumi Tsukamoto admitted neither he or Shimomura are rich people but their spirits are still high. They think of themselves as a high-end supermarket like Seijo Ishii (even though Tsukamoto admittedly shops at My Basket). So instead of falling down the depths of despair, the champions will instead ascend to BASARA heaven!

Match #3 was changed from a tag match into a 3 Way because Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi suffered from a case of gout in his leg and was unable to wrestle. He originally told the others to do a 2 Vs 1 Match instead but Tsutomu Oosugi got mad at having to fight the other team by himself. Ryota Nakatsu and Takato Nakano kept targeting him anyway but Hiroshi interfered to help Oosugi win the match.

Daichi Kazato wanted to announce who his mystery opponent would be on 31st January. Ayato Yoshida’s music played on the speakers as the reveal but Kazato didn’t recognise it. He needed Ayumu Honda to tell him who it was based on the song. When Honda said it belongs to Yoshida, Kazato told him he doesn’t know who that is and left the ring while the song played again. Kazato took the announcement a bit more seriously backstage, saying this may be the only opportunity to do this match before the snap election in the House Of Representatives takes place and Japanese society gets even crazier.

At the start of the show Isami Kodaka confirmed he is returning from his absence on 31st January for BASARA’s 10th Anniversary show.
