The international crew return to Japan all facing each other in a wrestling version of Blind Man’s Bluff. A Rumble match you would normally see on a “Premium Live Event” somewhere else has somehow ended up here. There will be a few other surprises in store. For example, Fumirin will be reading the pre-show announcements to everyone while speaking in a Kansai accent. There is also a secret musical segment scheduled for somewhere on the show.

Hirata doesn’t think he can pull off a miracle this time but promises to try his best for everyone’s sake.

SUPER JAPAN “A PRO WRESTLING SHOW WITHOUT A NAME”, 27/05/2026
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Special Single Match: Pero Pero Oyakata Vs Da Pump Matsumoto
2. Special Tag Match: Yuji Nagata & CIMA Vs Sanshiro Takagi & Poison Sawada JULIE

The future of Super Japan is safe after its fans judged in favour of these shows continuing for the time being. Sanshiro Takagi is continuing to think up of alternate universe ideas regarding the early years of DDT. The latest is he now wants to team up with Poison Sawada JULIE after they’ve been enemies for years, decades even. Yuji Nagata is sticking around as the Super Japan ace and is even donating an event booking he had in his pocket to let this show take place in the same venue. He will team up with CIMA, forming “WCW’s Strongest Tag Team” for the occasion. Now that sounds like a WCW… Deep… Cut… in the making.

The newest match announced is straight out of N●tflix. It is the “Re●l American” Pero Pero Oyakata against “The Queen Of V●llains” Da Pump Matsumoto!

DDT/NJPW “ONE-ON-ONE CONFRONTATION PART 2 ~SASADANGO-GUN VS YANO-GUN 5-ON-5 ELIMINATION TAG BATTLE~”, 08/06/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

2. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
3. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
4. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X
5. Sasadango-gun Vs Yano-gun: X Vs X

Sasadango-gun: Super Sasadango Machine, MAO

Yano-gun: Toru Yano, El Desperado

Both Super Sasadango Machine and Toru Yano have chosen the first members of their teams. Sasadango has picked MAO from DDT while Yano is taking El Desperado from New Japan. Sasadango believes he has the advantage because he does not belong to any specific group in DDT. He’s under the impression that Yano will only choose wrestlers from New Japan’s Hontai unit.

MONDAY MAGIC “UNIVERSE MAGIC 2026” Results

April 6, 2026

MONDAY MAGIC “UNIVERSE MAGIC 2026”, 09/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE
??? Fans – Unannounced

1. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Semi Final: Naomichi Marufuji defeated Hayabusa with the Perfect Neck Lock (14:52).
2. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Semi Final: Sanshiro Takagi defeated The Great Sasuke with the Stunner (14:47).
3. Tokyo Joshi Pro Offer Match: Miyu Yamashita defeated Shino Suzuki with the Skull Kick (7:44).
4. UNIVERSE MIX MAGIC 8-Man Tag Match: Kaito Kiyomiya, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan, Takeshi Masada & Yumehito Imanari defeated Masato Tanaka, Isami Kodaka, Taro Nohashi & Great Mummy when Imanari pinned Mummy with the Lariat (9:15).
5. 10-WOMAN MAGIC RUMBLE: YUNA defeated Senka Akatsuki by Ring Out (26:41).
*Order Of Elimination: Megaton, Manami, Sora Ayame, YuuRI, The Great Sayaka, Yuki Mashiro, Seri Yamaoka, Momoka Hanazono, Senka Akatsuki.
6. The 1st UNIVERSE CUP – Final: Naomichi Marufuji defeated Sanshiro Takagi with the Perfect Neck Lock (17:33).

The winner of the first ever Universe Cup tournament belongs to NOAH! It was a tough road for Naomichi Marufuji to walk through because he first had to fight Hayabusa in the semi final. After taking big blows from dives and Falcon Arrows, Marufuji dodged the Firebird Splash and relied on using Tiger King knee strikes to wear down Hayabusa until he was weak enough to be submitted with the Perfect Cradle. Sanshiro Takagi fought past The Great Sasuke in a rematch many years in the making (Sasuke blamed the slightly different ring size on his defeat) to reach Marufuji in the final. In the battle between the CyberFight Vice Presidents, Takagi was taken to the brink with Marufuji ordering a delay in countouts so Takagi could bring out the Dramatic Dream bike for them to fight with. Marufuji won that duel and Takagi barely made it back to the ring in time just to get put in the Perfect Neck Lock for Marufuji to win the match.

Takagi got injured during the match so only Hayabusa and Sasuke joined Marufuji for his trophy presentation. Marufuji praised all of the wrestlers and promotions involved for doing their best to liven up pro wrestling. Sasuke believes the Universe Cup will continue on for many years which will somehow help Michinoku Pro become invincible! On cue his company’s theme song began to play until Marufuji stopped it so Hayabusa could have the last word. Hayabusa told everyone that the fun is just beginning.

The rest of the show featured random and unexpected wrestlers showing up since that is the whole point of Monday Magic. Multiple promotions were represented including DDT, Ganbare☆Pro and BASARA. There was an 8-Man Tag Match featuring DDT’s Takeshi Masada, GanPro’s Yumehito Imanari and BASARA’s Isami Kodaka. GanPro also had a participant in the women’s Magic Rumble match. YuuRI took part in it but was among the first half of eliminated wrestlers.

Tokyo Joshi Pro also showed up at a Monday Magic event for the first time. TJPW presented a singles match where Miyu Yamashita beat Shino Suzuki. Because they were in front of a new audience, Yamashita was more fired up than usual while Suzuki was able to overcome her anxiety when the fans started calling her name during the match.

Shinjuku FACE Closing Down This Year, Super Japan You’re Confusing Me

March 10, 2026

DDT “ICHIKABACHIKA 2026”, 11/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE

0. Dark Match – Tokyo Joshi Pro Offer Match: Yuki Kamifuku & Kira Summer Vs Rika Tatsumi & Uta Takami
1. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Shinya Aoki, Junta Miyawaki & Viento Maligno Vs Chris Brookes, Kota Sekifuda & Hinata Kasai
2. Jun Akiyama & Kazuki Hirata Vs HARASHIMA & Antonio Honda
3. Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs Kazuma Sumi, Naomi Yoshimura, Ryota Nakatsu & Yuki Ishida
4. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Shishamo Power, Unagi Mask & Gota Ihashi Vs Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Tomomitsu Matsunaga
5. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & KANON (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Danshoku Dieno & Super Sasadango Machine
6. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno, To-y & Kaisei Takechi (c) Vs Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku & Daichi Sato

Rumours were swirling around yesterday when a Japanese wrestling blog Kakutolog posted a story about Shinjuku FACE possibly shutting down its doors later this year. Sadly, today the venue’s management confirmed that Shinjuku FACE will be closing down on 30th September when their fixed-term lease with the building expires. To say this is a blow for the Japanese wrestling scene is an understatement given how so many wrestling companies are based in Tokyo and have relied on Shinjuku FACE to put on shows that aren’t on the level of Korakuen Hall but are still easy to access deep in the heart of that city. If Korakuen Hall is where you go to get a heat check on a wrestling company, Shinjuku FACE is where you will experience that company’s status quo. It will have a negative effect on the CyberFight promotions for sure because of how often they’ve booked shows in there over the last 20 years.

Kota Sekifuda has been brought in to take the place of the injured Yuni in Match #1.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “GRAND PRINCESS ’26: FATE IN RYOGOKU”, 15/03/2026
Tokyo Ryogoku KFC Hall

1. Shino Suzuki & Uta Takami Vs Chika Nanase & Shion Kanzaki
2. Kaya Toribami Vs HIMAWARI

5. Mizuki Vs Pom Harajuku
6. Miyu Yamashita & Arisu Endo Vs Toga & Ren Konatsu
7. Miu Watanabe, Yuki Kamifuku, Wakana Uehara & Suzume Vs Yuki Arai, Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro

The final match of Kaya Toribami in her current gimmick will be against HIMAWARI. After that Toribami will become Sakura Hattori.

BASARA “BASARA 302 ~TAKAGARI 33~”, 21/03/2026
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Takeru Inoue Vs SAGAT
2. Daiki Shimomura Vs Masato Kamino
3. Isami Kodaka & Takato Nakano Vs Takumi Tsukamoto & Tatsuya Hanami
4. FUMA & Seiya Morohashi Vs Daichi Kazato & Ayato Yoshida
5. Battle Royal: Ryota Nakatsu Vs Ryuichi Sekine Vs Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi Vs Lil’ Kraken Vs Yasu Urano Vs Shuji Ishikawa

A little change of pace for the next BASARA show. A Battle Royal will take place and with Shuji Ishikawa taking part, the winner could be likely to get a Union MAX Title shot against him in the future. That’s the only reason I see this match happening.

SUPER JAPAN “JUDGEMENT”, 24/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. 3 Way Match: Hiroshi Yamato Vs Gym Trainer Kotoka Vs Ippanjin Munenori Sawa
2. Evil Uno & Ram Kaichow Vs Shota & Marika Kobashi
3. Special 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Takashi Sasaki, Naoshi Sano & Demonio Uno Vs Brahman Shu, Brahman Kei & Mac Matsushita
4. Special Single Match: Kuroshio TOKYO Japan Vs Kumadori
5. Special Single Match: Yuji Nagata Vs Fuminori Abe
6. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Kazunari Murakami
7. Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Poison Sawada JULIE

What in the hell is this lineup? We’re getting a 6-Man Tag Match between “Goro Tsurumi’s Genes” against the “Toryumon Genes”. Evil Uno is teaming up with Ram Kaichow even though there is also Demonio Uno on the show. The Gym Trainer Kotoka is back to fight the ordinary salaryman Munenori Sawa and city council wrestler Hiroshi Yamato. That’s not all, NOSAWA Rongai is now threatening to invade Super Japan with Mummy wrestlers so who know what else is going to happen here. Maybe at the end of the show the fans vote to shut the whole thing down.

GANBARE☆PRO “THERE WILL BE BLOOD 2026”, 28/03/2026

As part of this tournament Yuya Susumu will finally gets his long awaited singles match against Keisuke Ishii. The other side of the bracket sees Shuichiro Katsumura face PSYCHO.

A big month of singles matches lies ahead for YuuRI. She has two important opponents to fight soon, the first of which is Rin (aka Rin Kadokura) as part of Rin’s road to retirement.

DDT “NO SPOILERS EVENT VOL. 4 IN UENO”, 01/04/2026
Tokyo Ueno Park Outdoor Stage

1. Something With To-y & Kazuki Hirata: To-y Vs Kazuki Hirata

A “No Spoilers” show being held on April Fool’s Day? Actually that might make it easy because nobody will be allowed to post prank results along with the real ones. By the time midnight comes it will be smooth sailing for me to post the results!

By this point Daisuke Sasaki will have started his tour of North America but while he is gone, three fakes of him are going to appear in his place. It will be up to the rest of DAMNATION T.A to deal with them.

GANBARE☆PRO “HATAAGE 13TH ANNIVERSARY – MAD MAX 2026”, 29/04/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. YuuRI Vs Utami Hayashihita
2. Ken Ohka 25th Anniversary Match: Ken Ohka & Guts Ishijima Vs Masaaki Mochizuki & Ryota Nakatsu

Friends and foes alike will be gathering together to celebrate not only Ganbare☆Pro’s 13th Anniversary but also Ken Ohka’s 25th Anniversary in wrestling as well. He recently beat Guts Ishijima for the TTT Indie Unified Openweight Title but here they will be tag partners. Masaaki Mochizuki returns to GanPro for the first time since losing the SOG Title. Ryota Nakatsu is also coming over from BASARA to take part in Ohka’s match.

The second of YuuRI’s big matches will be against Marigold’s own Utami Hayashihita!

GANBARE☆PRO “GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE 2026” Results

March 7, 2026

GANBARE☆PRO “GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE 2026”, 07/03/2026
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
143 Fans

1. Yumehito Imanari defeated Sentaro Motojima with a Crab Hold (10:23).
2. Ken Ohka, Akira Shoji & Shin Suzuki defeated Choun Shiryu, Trans-Am ★ Hiroshi & Chika when Shoji pinned Shiryu with the STO (10:13).
3. Shigehiro Irie defeated Shota Kawakami with the AUF DIE FRESSE (12:37).
4. Shoko Nakajima defeated YuuRI with the Northern Lights Suplex (16:18).
5. Shuichiro Katsumura & Yuya Susumu defeated Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga when Susumu submitted Tominaga with the Crossface Lock (11:31).
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Mizuki Watase (c) defeated Takuya Wada with the Venetian (16:08).
*V1 for Mizuki Watase.

The first title defence is in the bag but it almost could have gone so wrong for Mizuki Watase. He was ready to fight Takuya Wada, “The King Of Pancrase” and didn’t expect he would face Takuya Wada the pro wrestler. Watase kept simulating the match over and over to prepare for today and had the conclusion that as long as he wouldn’t give up to Wada’s submission holds, he would win in the end. That was proven right and he won by pinning Wada with the Venetian.

After the match Shuichiro Katsumura challenged Watase for the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title and the champion said it is a match suitable to headline Korakuen Hall. That comment led to a chain reaction of different wrestlers getting into the ring. Keisuke Ishii said Katsumura was jumping the gun and if anybody deserved to be in a Korakuen title match main event again it is him. Then Yuya Susumu showed up complaining that Ishii should be fighting him next instead of getting a title shot again. PSYCHO also got into the ring to let everyone know he wants the next shot without actually saying anything. Michiyoshi Mishima thought a 4 Way Match should between everyone should determine the No. 1 Contender until someone shouted it should be a tournament instead. Mishima agreed and made a one day tournament for 28th March for the No. 1 Contendership. Ishii and Susumu will finally have their singles match while Katsumura faces PSYCHO. Meanwhile Watase said he wants to go have a title defence over in America before the next Korakuen show happens!

Shigehiro Irie must be missing Germany while the 16 Carat Gold Tournament is happening over there this weekend. He used his AUF DIE FRESSE finisher (holds the opponent’s arm in a Hammerlock behind their head and then knocks them down with an Elbow Butt) to win his match.

Some other matches were made for upcoming GanPro shows. On 28th March YuuRI will face Rin, the former Rin Kadokura who recently returned to wrestling but will be retiring from the business this upcoming May. Ken Ohka also wants to form a Toyama trio with Shinichiro Tominaga & Akira Shoji at that show. Then on 29th April there are two matches booked so far. The first is Ohka & Guts Ishijima Vs Masaaki Mochizuki & Ryota Nakatsu to celebrate Ohka’s 25th Anniversary in wrestling. The other match is YuuRI Vs Utami Hayashishita from Marigold!

The match will be Soccer Vs Sumo where only items relating to either sport are permitted to be used as weapons. Sumo is Yuki Ishida’s sport of course while To-y had a background in playing football before he became a pro wrestler.

Something to keep an eye on as we continue building up towards Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai is if there will be more damage done to Watanabe’s lower back. She is well aware of how much Arai is relying on the Scorpion Death Lock as her kill move lately.

SUPER JAPAN “JUDGEMENT”, 24/03/2026
Shinjuku FACE

1. Special Single Match: Yuji Nagata Vs Fuminori Abe
2. Special Single Match: Shinya Aoki Vs Kazunari Murakami
3. Special Single Match: Sanshiro Takagi Vs Poison Sawada JULIE

It doesn’t matter what alternate timeline we are in, Sanshiro Takagi and Poison Sawada JULIE are still going to feud with each other. They have been enemies in DDT for a long time but it’s been 17 years since their last singles match against each other apparently. Super Japan gets the honour of reviving the matchup.

Super Japan is also pitting their ace Yuji Nagata against Fuminori Abe in a first time singles bout. They’ve already wrestled each other in two of the previous three Super Japan shows.

2. Special Tag Match: Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA Vs Hyper Misao & Super Sasadango Machine
3. International Princess Title: MIRAI (c) Vs Suzume
4. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee
5. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Yuki Arai

Just when the mystery was getting good, the perpetrator has come out and admitted the crime. The indy wrestling outfit New Nemuro Pro Wrestling sent a video to TJPW taking the credit for stealing Mizuki’s Pico Pico Hammer while leaving behind an American flag as a red herring. New Nemuro’s most famous wrestler Andreza Giant Panda was memorably hit over the head by Mizuki with her hammer back in 2024 in a moment that went viral across the internet due to how photogenic it was. Andreza was left humiliated by what happened and Shin Nemuro felt that their reputation was tarnished over it too. Ever since that moment Andreza had been waiting on an opportunity to get his revenge. Thus Mizuki’s hammer got stolen and Andreza has challenged her to a singles match at Sumo Hall!

*Ken Ohka becomes the 1,795th champion.
-. Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title: Mahiro Kiryu defeated Ken Ohka (c) with a School Boy (?:??).
*Mahiro Kiryu becomes the 1796th champion.
3. Shuichiro Katsumura defeated Akira Shoji with the Triple Three 3 Lock (10:24).
4. YuuRI 5th Anniversary Match: Sareee defeated YuuRI with the Uranage (14:09).
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto (c) when Tominaga pinned Tsukamoto with the Wine Hamon Overdrive (18:33).
*Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto fail in V4. Touchable become the 5th Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Champions!
6. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) defeated Keisuke Ishii with the Triangle Kick (18:03).
*V4 for Masaaki Mochizuki.

What looked like the crowning moment of Keisuke Ishii’s career just wasn’t going to happen in the end thanks to Masaaki Mochizuki. Ishii withstood Mochizuki’s kick heavy offence to deal big damage with the Kneel Kick. But the Exploder Suplex and High Angle Double Arm DDT afterwards couldn’t put Mochizuki away. Ishii showed his own toughness by kicking out of the Shin Saikyou High Kick as well as the Twister. Mochizuki had to use the Triangle Kick to finally put him away for a successful Spirit Of Ganbare World Title defence. After the match Mochizuki said he was aware that for the last three years the SOG World Title changed hands on Ganbare☆Pro’s final show of the year so he felt under pressure to break that streak. When he asked who will challenge him in 2026, Munetatsu Nakamura entered the ring and talked about how frustrating it is to see another company’s wrestler close out the show instead of somebody from GanPro. He admits he doesn’t have the track record to deserve a title shot but he wants to challenge Mochizuki for the championship! Mochizuki listened to the positive response from the fans and also said he loves fighting young wrestlers. However just like he is doing it this year, he said he will close out GanPro’s final show in 2026 too!

There was some good fortune coming GanPro’s way because Touchable won the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles from the BASARA team, bringing the belts back to their home company. Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga didn’t have much time to celebrate with their newly won belts because Shuichiro Katsumura walked out and told them that he and Minoru Suzuki will challenge them for the titles on 11th January! Touchable believe they themselves are two wrestlers who have good (if perverted) personalities and that might be enough to beat the worst tempered wrestler in the world! Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto do believe that the friendship between Imanari & Tominaga was what won them the belts in the end today. The BASARA team doesn’t have that and ended up asking each other what do that have? They guess it’s either the power of love or the power of evil.

The start of a busy period for Sareee kicked off with her visiting GanPro for a big match celebrating YuuRI’s five years in the wrestling business. While Sareee came out on tope, she also leaves the show feeling impressed with YuuRI’s growth. She thinks the five year point is an important time for a wrestler and believes YuuRI can reach even greater heights as long as she does not become complacent. YuuRI had mixed emotions after the match. She feels satisfied that her request to fight Sareee in a singles match came true but she knows she shouldn’t be satisfied from losing. She now considers Sareee to be a rival and is certain she can one day beat her.

Katsumura’s match with Akira Shoji had plenty of Japanese MMA flavour to it. Caol Uno was there in Shoji’s corner while Yuji Shimada served as the referee for the match. Katsumura got a definitive submission win over Shoji, enough to claim that GanPro has defeated PRIDE FC (and while we’re at it K’z FACTORY gym defeated Keishukai gym) and there will be no rematch! Shoji admitted he didn’t realize until during the match just how difficult pro wrestling can be and he felt Katsumura was always one step ahead of him. However he also liked how warm hearted the response of the GanPro fans was to him and he would like to try pro wrestling again. Watching Ken Ohka work so hard for GanPro has ignited his spirit as well, which is why he came to GanPro today.

Mahiro Kiryu lost the Iron Man Heavymetalweight Title at the start of the show before her scheduled match could even begin. Yuna Manase rolled her up during the show opening call to become the new champ. Then in the 4 Way Tag Match, Ohka pinned Manase with the Spear Of Flame to win the title for himself. Kiryu then rolled up Ohka from behind, pinning her own tag partner to win the belt back. Meanwhile Takashi Sasaki told Manase they should continue teaming together despite losing the match.

At the start of the show Katsumura announced GanPro will be holding auditions for new trainees. Manase said there are no age restrictions and she in particular is looking for an apprentice.

GANBARE☆PRO “FLASH GORDON 2025” Results

December 13, 2025

GANBARE☆PRO “FLASH GORDON 2025”, 13/12/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING
195 Fans

1. Mizuki Watase & Rukiya defeated Yasu Urano & Rekka when Watase pinned Rekka with the Venetian (10:59).
2. Moeka Haruhi Vs Gabai Ji-chan ended in a Draw after a Double Pinfall (9:36).
3. Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi defeated Ken Ohka & Akira Shoji when Maeguchi pinned Ohka with the Ago Shitsurei Itashimasu (7:33).
4. Yuna Manase & Toga defeated YuuRI & Chika Nanase when Manase pinned Nanase after the Dynamic Hot Shot (13:27).
5. 3 Way Match: PSYCHO defeated Shuichiro Katsumura and Choun Shiryu when PSYCHO pinned Shiryu with the Got Trip (15:00).
6. Yumehito Imanari, Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Munetatsu Nakamura, Shota Kawakami & Sentaro Motojima when Ishii submitted Motojima with a Crab Hold (21:13).

The end of year title shots are safe and sound among the veterans. They crushed the mini-rebellion put together by the rookies who wanted to take over the main event scene for themselves. Keisuke Ishii said the match shows that Ganbare☆Pro has a strong sense of purpose all over from the young wrestlers to the most experienced. All that needs to be done now is for he, Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga to reclaim the titles from the current outsider champions in order to lead into the next year. Tominaga told the rookies they may feel like they are hated right now but they will understand in 10 years time.

Not only did Hot Shot get to team up in GanPro but they now have a tag team finisher to win matches with. The Dynamic Hot Shot is when Yuna Manase gives the opponent the Suzuki Dynamic along with Toga doing a Facebuster. Toga spoke about how happy she is to do the match because she looks up to Manase. She also notices how much attention she gives YuuRI but after wrestling her today she understands why. Toga also enjoys how much she is wrestling Chika Nanase lately and hopes that will continue back in Tokyo Joshi Pro. YuuRI gave motivation to Nanase by explaining how everyone who steps into a GanPro ring gets the Ganbare☆Spirit passed on to them.

Today was the first time the MMA fighter Akira Shoji wrestled in GanPro. He was teaming with Ken Ohka because the two are from Toyama. He will be back on 27th December to have a match with Shuichiro Katsumura but if there is one person he would like to meet in the ring again, it is Nobuhiko Takada given their connections to Pride FC. Shoji doesn’t know how often he will be wrestling in GanPro but while he is here he hopes to show off how sharp his skills still are.

After the show had ended, Takashi Sasaki appeared in the room wanting to talk to Yuna Manase. She had been sending him messages asking to team up and he wanted to answer her in person. He is moved by Manase’s passion and wants to team with her even though GanPro and FREEDOMS are rivals. However he wants to be sure that Manase is dedicated enough that they can go all the way towards winning the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles? She assured him that she is so they agreed to team up for the Mixed Tag Match at 27th December.

The Mixed Tag Match got other updates as well. Moeka Haruhi & Gabai Ji-Chan have decided to team up together after their match earlier in the show ended in a draw. She warns all the other teams that they will be booed against Gabai Ji-Chan no matter what they do. Also HARUKAZE received a message from Hartley Jackson asking to be added to the match, making it a 4 Way Tag. He is willing to team with anyone but would prefer HARUKAZE to be his partner. HARUKAZE agreed to have a one day return to wrestling so Lethal Weapon can team up again!

According to Chris Brookes on Twitter, today’s big show for Baka Gaijin + Friends has sold out of tickets!

DDT “GO UPDATE 2025”, 03/12/2025
Shinjuku FACE

1. Chris Brookes & Antonio Honda Vs Danshoku Dieno & Kazuki Hirata
2. Soma Takao & Shota Vs Yuya Koroku & Hinata Kasai
3. Jun Akiyama, Sanshiro Takagi & Tomomitsu Matsunaga Vs Kazusada Higuchi, Naomi Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida
4. The Apex Vs DAMNATION T.A!: Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya Vs Hideki Okatani & Demus
5. Special 6-Man Tag Match: Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul & Ilusion Vs HARASHIMA, Akito & Kumadori
6. Special 6-Man Tag Match: MAO, KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) & Kazuma Sumi Vs Jun Masaoka, Gaia Hox & Rukiya
7. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & To-y Vs Takeshi Masada & Yasu Urano

Some new title programs have opened up for DDT’s last few weeks of the year. We also have what could be the last ROMANCE DAWN tag match for a while. More on why that is later.

BASARA “BASARA 294 ~UTAGE AKA – HIEN~”, 11/12/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. YJF Cruiserweight Title: Ayumu Honda (c) Vs FUMA
2. Wrestle Brain Jr. Heavyweight Title: Masato Kamino (c) Vs Takeru Inoue
3. BJW Jr. Heavyweight Title: Kosuke Sato (c) Vs Takato Nakano
4. Union MAX Title: Ryota Nakatsu (c) Vs Seiya Morohashi

Where are all of these championships coming from? The Wrestle Brain Jr. Heavyweight Title has been around the obscure corners of the indies for over 20 years, originating from a long defunct company called Pro Wrestling Nightmare. It is currently held by Masato Kamino after he won it from Yuki Kanzaki. The YJF Cruiserweight Title belongs to Gokigen Pro Wrestling, the replacement for YMZ that hasn’t actually had its proper launch yet. Ayumu Honda is currently the holder of that championship.

There is one more match to be booked for the show. Which means there is still time to find another very obscure championship to put on the line.

GANBARE☆PRO “FLASH GORDON 2025”, 13/12/2025
Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Mizuki Watase & Rukiya Vs Yasu Urano & Rekka
2. Moeka Haruhi Vs Gabai Ji-chan
3. Yuna Manase & Toga Vs YuuRI & Chika Nanase
4. Ken Ohka & Akira Shoji Vs Takuya Wada & Tyson Maeguchi
5. 3 Way Match: Shuichiro Katsumura Vs PSYCHO Vs Choun Shiryu
6. Yumehito Imanari, Keisuke Ishii & Shinichiro Tominaga Vs Munetatsu Nakamura, Shota Kawakami & Sentaro Motojima

The next challenges for the two Spirit Of Ganbare Championships have been thrown down for Korakuen Hall at the end of the year but the coast isn’t clear just yet. The young wrestlers of Ganbare☆Pro want to get those opportunities instead of their seniors so an all or nothing 6-Man Tag Match will sort this issue out.

Akira Shoji? The Pride FC fighter? I don’t think he has wrestled since HUSTLE was around. Oh no, wait, he was in SMASH a bunch for its early shows. It’s all coming back to me now.

The women’s tag match is going to mix Ganbare☆Joshi with Tokyo Joshi Pro a little bit. Yuna Manase & Toga get to team up as Hot Shot again while YuuRI joins forces with Chika Nanase for the first time.

DDT “SENDAI NEW LEGEND 2025 ~SERI HOYA HYOTAN-AGE~”, 14/12/2025
Miyagi Yume Messe Miyagi

1. Ilusion Vs Hinata Kasai
2. 3 Way Match: To-y Vs Danshoku Dieno Vs Kazuki Hirata
3. Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani & Demus Vs Kazusada Higuchi, Chris Brookes & Daichi Sato
4. Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya Vs Jun Akiyama & Yuya Koroku
5. Special Tag Match: MAO & KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs HARASHIMA & Kazuma Sumi
6. Special Tag Match: Yuki Ueno & Akito Vs Takeshi Masada & Yuki Ishida

This will be the last time in 2025 that MAO will get to wrestle in his home area.

DDT “RING FINALE 2025 ~EVERYONE IS THE STAR OF THE CURTAIN CALL~”, 21/12/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Special Tag Match: Yuji Nagata & Sanshiro Takagi Vs HARASHIMA & Kaisei Takechi
2. KO-D Tag Team Titles: MAO & KANON (c) (w/ KIMIHIRO) Vs Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox
3. KO-D Openweight Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Takeshi Masada

It’s just the KO-D Openweight Title on the line for Yuki Ueno’s last title match of the year. He put all of D GENERATIONS into a Rock Paper Scissors tournament to determine the No. 1 Contender and Takeshi Masada came out on top. His fighting words to build up the title match didn’t impress the champion though. Ueno wants to hear something from Masada that will make him want to fight him.

An outsider team is just what Strange Love Connection are looking for when it comes to their next KO-D Tag Team Titles defence. F-SWAG has come to DDT looking for gold an quickly set their sights on the tag belts. Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox can be a handful together but MAO thinks it will do KANON a lot of good to start fighting wrestlers from outside of DDT.

More big opportunities are coming Kaisei Takechi’s way. He has a trip to the Tokyo Dome booked for 4th January so Sanshiro Takagi is giving him a New Japan flavored appetizer in the form of Yuji Nagata. Takechi will have HARASHIMA backing him up because HARASHIMA doesn’t want to miss out on the fun.

GANBARE☆PRO “BEFORE SUNRISE 2025”, 27/12/2025
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. YuuRI 5th Anniversary Match: YuuRI Vs Sareee
2. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto (c) Vs Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga
3. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) Vs Keisuke Ishii

Should the GanPro veterans get past their pesky juniors, they will have championship matches to look forward to at the end of the year. Keisuke Ishii believes he is the one fated to win the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title from Masaaki Mochizuki in a battle between the Kneel Kick against the Saikyou High Kick.

Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga have become GanPro’s latest hope to take the Spirit Of Ganbare Tag Team Titles from the BASARA team. They have wrestled in the same matches so frequently this year that they feel like they are already an established tag team in GanPro. That’s why they went and given themselves a tag team name called Touchable. That isn’t making Ryota Nakatsu or Takumi Tsukamoto shaking in their boots though.

DDT “NEW YEAR☆DRAMATIC PARADE 2026 ~THE ANSWER WILL BE REVEALED ONE YEAR LATER~”, 03/01/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Yuki Ueno, To-y & Kaisei Takechi (c) Vs MAO, KANON (w/ KIMIHIRO) & Kazuma Sumi

One day before Takechi (and possibly a few others) go to the Tokyo Dome, he has his first title defence with The 37KAMIINA to get through. Ueno, To-y & Takechi have to get past the trio of SLC & Kazuma Sumi if Takechi wants to enter the Dome with the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles still belonging to his team.

2026 will begin with a DDT wrestler taking time off for injury. Soma Takao will be out of action from January in order to get treated for a lingering left knee injury. He doesn’t know how long the break will last but the only thing he is certain of is you will find him working at the Dropkick Bar.

TOKYO JOSHI PRO “TOKYO JOSHI PRO ’26”, 04/01/2026
Tokyo Korakuen Hall

1. Shoko Nakajima Vs Hyper Misao
2. Princess Tag Team Titles: Yuki Kamifuku & Wakana Uehara (c) Vs Yuki Aino & Haru Kazashiro
3. Princess Of Princess Title: Miu Watanabe (c) Vs Suzume

A new tag team has shown up to challenge Ober Eats! It’s familiar territory for Yuki Aino as she finds herself back to being a tag wrestler but she’s happy to hear that Haru Kazashiro wants to team with her. YukiHaru are wasting no time and have quickly made the Princess Tag Team Titles their target.

The guests announced for the show so far are Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki, J-Rod and Max The Impaler.

GANBARE☆PRO “WICKER MAN 2025” Results

GANBARE☆PRO “WICKER MAN 2025”, 29/11/2025
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Choun Shiryu, Kaori Yoneyama & Yuna Manase defeated Moeka Haruhi, Chika & MASA☆TAKA when Shiryu pinned TAKA with the Chinese Bombs Away (8:08).
2. Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga defeated Tatsuhito Takaiwa & Sentaro Motojima when Imanari submitted Motojima with a Bull Naked Choke (13:39).
3. Keisuke Ishii, Hagane Shinno & Munetatsu Nakamura defeated Mizuki Watase, Rukiya & Shota Kawakami when Ishii pinned Kawakami with the Kneel Kick (15:12).
4. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto (c) defeated Shuichiro Katsumura & YuuRI when Nakatsu submitted YuuRI with a Sleeper Hold (15:34).
*V3 for Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto.
5. Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title: Masaaki Mochizuki (c) defeated Ken Ohka with the Shin Saikyou High Kick (15:47).
*V3 for Masaaki Mochizuki.

Ken Ohka’s bad luck at fighting for singles championships continues as he failed to win his own promotion’s top title in his fourth attempt. He tried using a Dragon Suplex when the Spear Of Flame couldn’t get him the win but Masaaki Mochizuki wore him down with kicks until the Shin Saikyou High Kick finished the job. After the match Mochizuki said Ohka had gotten better since their previous match back in April but no matter how much Ohka closes the gap, Mochizuki will always be better than him. He then called out for someone to challenge him otherwise he will keep the Spirit Of Ganbare World Openweight Title going into 2026. Keisuke Ishii entered the ring and said he now believes he is the one to beat him. Mochizuki recognised Ishii because of his Kneel Kick and tried to remember if they competed in the same All Japan Jr. Heavyweight tournament about ten years ago. But he wants to see if his High Kick is better than Ishii’s Kneel Kick so the title match will take place at Korakuen Hall on 27th December. Ishii said he has main evented Korakuen six times but never won any of those matches. Mochizuki told him that what happened six times will happen seven times so be prepared.

Shuichiro Katsumura & YuuRI came so close to bringing the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles back home but a mistimed attack blew their chances. While Katsumura trapped Takumi Tsukamoto in an Ankle Lock, YuuRI grabbed Ryota Nakatsu in a Sleeper Hold. Katsumura then went to throw a High Kick at Nakatsu but he ducked and YuuRI got hit instead. Nakatsu then put YuuRI in the Rear Naked Choke, forcing YuuRI to pass out in the move. While the champions celebrated their win, Yumehito Imanari & Shinichiro Tominaga entered the ring to challenge them for the tag titles on 27th December. They are also now going by the tag team name Touchable and pointed out they are not some hastily put together duo like the recent batch of title challengers. Touchable have been wrestling together in Ganbare☆Pro as opponents and partners since April.

At the end of the show Ishii, Imanari & Tominaga were confronted by Munetatsu Nakamura, Shota Kawakami & Sentaro Motojima and a fight broke out between the two groups. The younger wrestlers then challenged the veterans to a 6-Man Tag Match on 13th December and if they win, they will take the title shots booked for Korakuen Hall!

It was announced that Yuna Manase is bringing Toga and Chika Nanase from Tokyo Joshi Pro over for the 13th December show. The match will be Hot Shot against YuuRI & Nanase.

5. Special Tag Match: Yuya Koroku & Katsuya Murashima Vs Ryoma Tsukamoto & Kumadori

GANBARE☆PRO “TBA”, 29/11/2025
Tokyo Takashimadaira Kumin Center

1. Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles: Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto (c) Vs Shuichiro Katsumura & YuuRI

As shown in recent Ganbare☆Pro events, YuuRI does not want to be just confined to the Ganbare☆Joshi division. She thinks she is good enough to beat the BASARA team and bring the Spirit Of Ganbare World Tag Team Titles back home. She needs a tag partner though and lucky for her, Shuichiro Katsumura has her back. Ryota Nakatsu & Takumi Tsukamoto aren’t feeling worried about them though.

It’s not official yet but Ken Ohka has been chosen to be Masaaki Mochizuki’s next opponent for the Spirit Of Ganbare World Title after he begged to Michiyoshi Mishima for the opportunity. GanPro want the match to happen at this show but Dragon Gate also has an event going on in Okinawa the same day. Negotiations are under way to get Mochizuki booked for this show.

An extra caveat of the Weapon Rumble is the weapons must be bought using only money that To-y and Sanshiro Takagi have won from gambling in the leadup to the match.

Ittenyon is getting something completely fresh for its headline match. As far as I know, Miu Watanabe and Suzume have only had two previous singles matches together and they were both in 2022. The next time they go one on one it will be the headline bout at Korakuen Hall with the Princess Of Princess Title on the line!
